Just thought of some of my childhood favorites and had a strong sense of nostalgia...

    1. The Land Before Time
    2. An American Tale
    3. Hook
    4. Casper
    5. The Last Unicorn

Anyone else remember their childhood movies? Thoughts on the ones I mentioned?

Those are some of my favorites too. They still show the land before time, an american tale, and casper alot these days and still make spin-off from them. But those spin-offs are usually really cruddy ._.

At first I thought this thread was about the film 'Blast from the Past'. xD; I'm pretty sure that film exists, anyway..

    1. Land Before Time - luvit. Makes me cry every time. "Littlefoot.. ;-; that ain't yo momma, that's a rock". Yeah...
    2. An American Tale - I haven't seen this film in years! Damn, I want to see it again. lol. I just remember it being really cute.
    3. Hook - CLEARLY Dustin Hoffman's finest role. xD I still refer to the film to this day when I have nothing to eat, I'm like, "wtf, is we havin' make-believe food like on Hook?"
    4. Casper - I love this film, too. Christina Ricci is funny looking. I remember wishing that I was a ghost so I could order Casper around.
    5. The Last Unicorn - Haven't seen it, unfortunately. :/

Now for some of my favourites... :33

    1. Back to the Future - Marty McFly was my first crush. God, I thought he was so cool.. well, I still do lol.
    2. The Goonies - YES. "BABY ROOFF BABY ROOFF 8D" I'm going to watch this one tomorrow. xD
    3. Labrynth - How awesome was David Bowie in this movie? Very very. "You remind me of the babe. What babe? The babe with the power. What power? The power of voodoo. Who do? You do!" :'D
    4. Ghostbusters - The best part of this movie was the characters. My favourites were those played by Rick Moranis and Bill Murray. :3 "When there something strange in the neighbourhood... who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS"
    5. Roger Rabbit - Jessica Rabbit was one hot piece of ass, amirite? lol jk.

Not to mention like, every Disney film ever. :/

I actually spent a decent amount of time on this post. Cuz I love nostalgia. 3:

yeah, when i named this thread i was afraid people would think it was about the movie "Blast from the Past," which does exist.

but im glad i could take you back down memory lane. all the ones you mentioned are great, too, Mish. Roger Rabbit cracks me up every time! and labyrinth is such a classic, not to mention goonies!

as for the land before time, i really do cry every time i watch that movie. the rock part is so sad... and the song is like a slap in the face of nostalgia.

anyways, yesterday i was such a geek and i sat on the comp watching videos of the four i mentioned on youtube. i havent seen an american tale or casper in years and it made me feel like a little kid again!
