I'm currently at college in a Journalism program and my final article is due tomorrow at 11:55 am central time. I need to find someone who can answer a few very short questions about the PS4. I would like to talk to someone who either owns a PS4 or has extensive experience with console. Thank you all!
huh? For the article I want to write I need some quotes from owners of the Wii U, Xbox One, and PS4. All I will ask is about the current things they like about their console, and things they don't enjoy at this time with their console. I already have sources for the Xbox One and Wii U so I need to find a PS4 owner who I could PM.
I do not. I am not a Sony fanboy. I will wait for a bigger library or a Destiny bundle. I am a Nintendo and Microsoft fanboy and a Sony admirer.
Yeah I own a WIi U and have no reason to buy the other consoles yet either. Hopefully someone here has a PS4.
Libregkd and Misty both have PS4s if I remember correctly, and so do some other members (that I can't recall at the moment). They'll hopefully see this thread.
Owner of a five day old Nintendo Siren, here. So far, I'm enjoying it. The UI is nice and the gamepad working as a second screen is fantastic, especially because I won't be able to plug it into a TV for a while. In fact, it might actually be a pretty nice portable console on the occasion that I have a long drive or plane ride. Another thing that impressed me was that the Wii U seems to have been designed to be owned by multiple people, rather than the single user focus of the PS4 and Xbone. Not only does it allow multiple accounts, it makes it clear from the the moment you boot it up that it's made to have a separate account for each member of your household. The remote control feature is nifty, but mostly useless unless you've lost your remote or something.
HOW FAR DO YOU THINK THE WIIU GAMEPAD CAN GO? Dude. Friend request me. UN: DigitalAtlas EDIT: Omar. You can't friend request me :'D
So far, I've gotten it a good 20 feet away with walls in between. I'm sure it'll work fine when the system is hooked up to an outlet in a car or plane and less than a foot away. I've also got this nifty idea where I take a nice big battery and a well ventilated plastic box that I can carry on my back. It's still in the concept stage, but I think it has potential. That said, it would be awesome if the gamepad had a Wi-Fi adapter so it could do something similar to Sony's Remote Play. Done. Dude, don't be mean just because of his name. Omar is an awesome name.
I don't care. I just want to get this assignment done so I don't fail my class. I found someone on facebook btw. Also, as far as the gamepad goes, I live in a tiny apartment and my wii u is just about right in the middle of my room so I can play from anywhere within my dwelling.
oh wow it's omar. outta thin air. i have to say the controller feels really good in my hands. REALlly goood
Yeah I held one and played knack at gamestop last weekend. Not too impressed with the demo, but the ds4 was very comfy. I almost wanted to get one to use with my pc. I'll probably just wait to get it with the console though.
oh yeah, the demo for knack sucked.. also octodad sucked. none of the demos really showed off the ps4 in a WOW way. it was just. LOOK THIS CONTROLLER IS COMFORTABLE IT ALSO HAS A TOCUHPAD BUT NONE OF THE DEMOS USE IT BECAUSE REASONS
