I looked back about three pages. No thread about Tim Burton's animated movie that I've seen. I saw it a few hours ago. The movie was AWESOME. I was disappointed with the ending. I'd put some sort of spoiler here but I'd rather not. I just wish there was more time spent on 2(the character...didn't have much screen time). ; ;
I remember a thread was made back in like March or something. But oh well. :lolface: I was going to see it today, too. But my theater's being a bumface and it's not playing there. >B|
I saw it Thursday night and I enjoyed it. I kinda thought the story was rushed though and some of the parts were a little confusing, but it was still good. Spoiler for end of the movie: Spoiler I didn't really like the ending either. I thought, for some reason, their spirits were gonna go back into their bodies and then they would come back to life...but I was wrong. It kinda sucks that only 4 of them were left at the end :/

I didn't think that thread was that old, but I couldn't find it lol Anyways, I haven't seen this movie yet. But I've been hearing really good things about it. I love the trailers for it. I'm pretty much in debt right now and I'm using money to go watch this xD The only thing I was wondering is: Humanity is completely gone, right?
i totally loved this movie! i saw it the first showtime the day it came out and i really thought it was awesome! to answer your question, yeah, humanity is all gone to the knowledge of the viewpoints in the movie, and the story is super cool, even though its kinda dark. i wouldnt take kids to see it.
The movie was a good transition of the hero's journey, so of course some parts were obvious. The ending seemed rather odd, but I believe they wanted the audience to reflect on the values of the movie. All in all I loved it, and I would love to see it again.
Since it's in that Tim Burton style, this will probably be a movie I'll enjoy watching. I haven't seen it yet but perhaps I'll go this weekend or something. It looks really good for an animated movie though...
I hope to see it this weekend. I was going to see it last weekend, but it isn't out where I am yet. Anyway, I'm happy you guys are saying you liked it. I was worrying it wouldn't be as good as I thought it would be.
Saw it on Sunday and I was disappointed with the ending. Not sure how to explain what I wanted but it was disappointing. 2 should have gotten more screen time. He had very little and I was hoping he'd go pretty far into movie since he was the first one to show up other than 9. It was good just a bit disappointing.
