That's not a rainbow. That's a physical manifestation of imagination.

It's not a physical manifestation if it is based on imagination.

And can you claim to know the manifestations of imagination? For all we know of the nature of it, imagination could be a traveling of our consciousnesses between universes.

Imagination is created and projected by the processes of the brain alone. The closest manifestation we have is the brain of a relatively-intelligent organism, and the brain alone is not based solely on imagination.

Of course the brain is not based completely around imagination, it's an unfathomably complex thing which is exactly the reason why we can't claim to know its processes that well. The sheer complexity of it and the speed at which it reacts to uncountable stimuli with SEQUENCES of charges leave me to wonder if imagination could be, in some way shape or form, a reaction to something that is happening beyond the tangible world.

Imagination is comprised principally of bits and pieces of the outer stimuli that can effect the brain, occasionally hidden within your memory, but it does not go beyond the walls of the conscious mind or the brain in general; the only way imagination can be transmitted into reality is through the process of using your physical skills, among other things. Imagination is your reaction to these bits and pieces of outer stimuli, and these stimuli are commonly found in the tangible world.

I'm not talking about what stimulates or creates imagination, or what KNOWN effects it has on reality, I'm talking about what imagination is in and of itself.

Which would make this pathetic debate pointless, seeing as there is no factual answer to the question.
