7 Dragons

Jasmine ran to a circus when she saw a ticket theif running. She ran and tried to catch up tp catch him. For a girl, she can run fast anf can go without stopping.

 

Stephen heard the man yell. "This might be fun." Stephen opened up his window and saw Koana running away. He jumped out his window and landed in front of Koana. "Where do you think you are going?"

 

"I'm sorry, but I don't have time, sorry" koana said as he ran forward and did a front flip in the air, straight over Stephan, examplifying skills which was definatly out of place for a slave to have, as he kept running forward.

Stephen turned around and chased after him. When he got close, he slid and tripped Koana.

 

Koana fell back flat on the ground, but he stuffed the tickets in his pocket, as he quickly rolled onto his stomach, and pushed himself off of the ground, getting back onto his feet

 

Stephen got into a fighting stance. "Get ready."

 

Koana's expression went blank, as he turned to his side, and lifted his right leg, resting his foot on his left knee, which was bent. He had his left arm straight out, pointing down, while he had his right arm straight, pointing upwards.

Kain was in a tavenr in town, trying to think up financial strategies. The country was peaceful at the time, so not too many people needed a bodyguard to protect them. In other words: Business was crap and his funds were dropping.

He pulled his money out of his wallet andstarted counting. He had enough money to help his basic needs for 3 days, at best, but he had to find a better way to get some money.

"Alright.....I heard there was a circus coming to perform over here. Maybe I could sign up and do some sword tricks for the night. It'll earn me some money and I can say I have something planned that day. Besides, I haven't pulled out my sword since that job in the last town..."

He shivered at the mere though of that job. He had to protect a gangster's daughter, and she kept groping him to the point where he had to quit without pay.

He put his money back in his pocket, picked up his shikomizue (that's a cane/sword, btw) and walked into town.

 

"Eagle claw? A slave shouldn't know that style. This willbe fun." Stephen placed his palms on the ground like a monkey.

 

Koana's face remained blank, but on the inside, he had a smile on, happy about the luck that he had, interpreting what form of attack his opponent would soon attempt to deliver.


The circus was setting up on the far end of town, as a group of shady charecters began to bring in the different materials. They seemed a bit gothic for circus performers really, and had not spoken a single word to anyone

 

"You know about this form then? Good. What you don't know is that I have altered it to fit my movements."

 

Koana remained silent, as he still waited for his attack. He had all the time in the world really since his balance was set, and he absolutely did not plan on falling.

 

Kain was asking around town for directions as to where the circus would be. With any luck, they'd be nearby and hiring. He finally reached a spot that looked like a good setup for a circus, so he went to check it out.

He was a bit freaked out when he saw the nightmarish looking people, but in his situation, he had no choice. He poked one of the guys on the shoulder and held out what looked like a home-made application form.

"Hey.... I heard you guys were opening a circus around here. I have nothing better to do, so I was wondering if you guys were hiring. You see, I'm pretty handy with a sword, and that could bring in some attention, right?"

 

Stephen crouched lower to the ground. "I have studied the Eagle claw form. I know most of the flaws in it."

 

Koana narrowed his eyes down a little. Jees, this guy talks more then my master's wife. he thought to himself, not changing his position by an inch

 

Stephen got down until he was less than an inch above the ground. He then ran at Koana.

 

The man only gave out a grunt, as he walked right passed Kain, not having much of a care for his exsistance as a matter a fact. The ring leader could be seen farther away, directing many of the other gothic clowns hanging around.

Koana simply awaited for him to get close

 

When Stephen got close enough, he jumped up into the air and swung his foot at Koana's neck.

 

Kain just gave the man a feint frown as he walked his way towards the man that looked like the ringleader. He handed out his application again and told him the same story.

"So, do you think you could squeeze me in for an act? I guarantee that I could put one heck of a show.", he added.

He could feel the sweat in his palms. If he could'nt find a way to get money soon, he wouldn't last the week.

 

Koana's eyes widend, as he jumped backwards, cartwheeling away from the attack. He had expected it to be a ground attack, but now he could see that this person would obviously be tougher then expected. He then stopped when he was atleast 2 feet away, and crouched down ,awaiting for the next move


"No, we do not have time for some petty hobo in need of a job" the ring leader said cruelly, as he started walking away
