Nintendo 3DS Revision XL - larger screen, better battery

Considering how most people who are buying a 3DSXL (me included) dont have a regular 3DS, It will be stupid if they do not :P

I mean come on, can nintendo really think that most of the 3DSXL buyers already have a 3DS?

 

^This. I have no intention of getting this new model. My Blue 3DS regular is more than good enough for KI:U and Resident Evil: Revelations. I'm just glad this'll probably invoke a price drop in the original 3DS.

precisely the reason why i am glad i did not buy my 3DS yet,But if you think about it, It's kinda a ******-bagy thing to do :P, Release the 3DS and only a few months later Release an XL, they should either have released the 3DS with the XL capibilities, or just waited a least a year to Release the XL.

Nintendo Trolls it's buyers just for money.

 

Lots of 3DS hate on this forum. And yet, it's got such a better library than the PSV. Shame, really.

Pretty much this. I'm quite content with my current 3DS so I have no intention upgrading to the XL model. And with the price to upgrade (from the deals I've seen) it's gonna leave a hole in your wallet. Not to mention you'll have to file transfer all your games onto the new system...its just a hassle really.

So I've ordered a KH3D and 3DSXL bundle, so yay i have a 3DS finally.

Well from the amount of research I did, it seems to have been improved in almost all respects compared tot he original, with small features such as a longer battery life, £D setting click, 3 different lock positions for the screen, etc. I thought, for about £40 more, the larger screen and extras was worth it. I like bulkier controls too, since I have large enough hands and I won't have to narrow my eyes to read everything and the such.

Still it's only a revision of the original console at the end of it, wouldn't expect too much from it that you haven't already seen.

 

Does the larger screen distort the picture quality at all?
