L: Move camera left.
R: Move camera right.
L or R Twice: Camera resets behind player.
L+R: Lock-On.
D-Pad: Control Character.
X: Scroll Through Command List (Attack, Magic, Item).
A: Perform Command.
B: Jump. Double tap for Double Jump. Press with direction after jumping once to Air Slide.
Y: Reflect Guard. Press with direction for Dodge Roll. After jumping press with direction to glide.
Start: Pause

Yeah, that makes sense. Looks like my initial worry about the controls are gone. They could not have done beter and I have a feeling it will still feel like KH controls. Hooray!

 

These controls aren't that hard.

Nomura said a while back they weren't planning on using the bottom screen much, if at all. I guess it might be to write notes or something *shrugs*. It wouldn't feel like KH if it had major bottom screen punctuality, IMO.

 

Whats this? A double jump.

 

To me,the bottom screen should have a part as a map.

 

In the new scan of 358/2 Days, the bottom screen shows a map, and the two sides of the screen show arrows in a way that leads me to believe you can tap those arrows to cycle through what you see on the bottom screen. Other than that, I don't know, as Squenix said they wouldn't do a whole lot with the touch screen.

if it did use the touch screen it would feel like a cheap Gimmick

 

The controls sound fairly simple, they don't sound like they will be awkward to use. I wonder what the stylis will be used for.

 

I'm rather disappointed with the whole Camera thing. It's the reason KH1 failed. lol Now it's coming back. xD

Oh well. Seems fine otherwise.

Mybe the Touch Pad will be used to do special attacks. For example, how many times you tap deoends on how many Water Clones Demyx summons.
