30 Seconds to Mars

I think they are a great band.Their singer(Jared Leto) has a really nice voice,and their melody is also good.Overall,their harmony is great.My fave songs are:The Kill and Beautiful Lie.But ''Attack'' and ''From Yesterday ain't that bad too! :) Do you people like them?If you do which one is your fave song?If you don't know them, here are some links with the songs I like. I love this band! I believe i saw one of CtR's posts about them. I checked out their myspace and fell in love with their songs. I love his voice. Personal favourires are Attack, The Kill and R-evolve. :3

I actually just recently found out about this band but I already love 2 of their songs.
Which would be i'll attack and the kill....I really need to listen to a beautiful lie though lol
But yeah even though they are an alternative band I don't know...they seem a bit more like a rock band...not sure though. But yeah from what i've heard an extremely sweet band.

 

I think they are a great band. Not a huge fan of the first album (only really like Buddha for Mary). But the second one is quite. My personal favourites are Attack and The Fantasy. I got into the band before they even released an album over here in the UK. But now they are quite popular which is good to see.

 

I love 30STM, I have done for a long time, I love both albums, though admittedly A Beautiful Lie is what shot them out into full view of everyone. Their music is beautiful and I want to trap Jared's voice in a jar so that I can keep it. The entire band are very talented.


HOWEVER

I recently saw them live, and I have to say, my liking for them has taken a distinct nose dive. The music was excellent, however I might as well have gone to the "Jared Leto" show, the mans arrogance is shockingly apparent. Added to that was his constant use of religious terms when discussing the band.


A fantastic band who have amazing potential, their music is awesome and their live shows are a treat, but I was disappointed because of his over massive ego

Rly...?I didn'tt know that!However,i believe,that a song doesn't express an artists feelings,unless he writes it himself,so i still like them! ^_^

 

Oh I still like them xDDD and I have no issues with the songs, it is his own ego that I have an issue with.

They're awesome. I especially like the kill. Their music is very passionate, yet cool and they play pretty awesome. :3

 

I think their cool, I like The Fantasy the best.​

 

Awesome band. I especially like the fact that they actually sound different from other popular bands these days. Even though "The Kill" is overused in amv's, its still one of my favorites, along with "Savior", "A Beautiful Life", "Oblivion", and "Battle of One"

30stm ftw. I think Attack is my favorite song, it's also the first song i heard from them.

Jared's voice is just beautiful.
I'm not a big fan of their first album but I'm in love with their second one. My favorite songs from the first album are Oblivion and Buddha for Mary. My favorite songs from the second album are Savior and The Kill.

 

The first album was pretty crap, give or take a few songs. But Beautiful Lie is a brilliant album. My favourite song is Attack, shame it never got as good reception as their other singles.

I saw them live in the UK before they got big here, and it was a great gig, Jared is a great showman. Unforunately we missed the chance to meet the band because my sister was throwing up everywhere due to bad chinese. She really regrets it now since she is a huge fan of Jared Leto. XD
