1) 2) 3) Also, I'm only 11:30 hours into this game, and I have practically seen no other game that has as much emotion as this one. Not to say there aren't others, but I haven't played that much of a variety of games. Now excuse me while I find someplace online to learn those first two awesome pieces on the piano, record them, and share them on here. (no joke, I WILL learn these things, no matter what, they are just that awesome)
I have the bragging rights to say that I got to meet him. : D He's a quiet dude, but I looked straight into his eyes and saw a mastermind of music and beauty. No words else can describe this guy.
So far, the dream sequences are definitely some of the most emotional things in the game, but Spoiler Lirum's death was pretty emotional as well . I'd have to say some of my favorite dream sequences are Hanna's Departure, Letters from a Weakling, White Flowers, and I can't remember the name of it, but it had to do with that old lady who called Kaim "Big Brother"
So do I! He did a panel at a con I went to a couple years ago because it just happened to coincide with a Distant Worlds concert. He really does have an amazing presence, even in a room filled with 400 sweaty, sleep deprived, congoers.
Yo, was that at Otakon? Because I also went to that panel, haha. who knew he wanted to be a mexican wrestler before becoming a composer... Most of Dissidia's original scorings were composed by Takeharu Ishimoto. So if anything, it was him, not Uematsu.
No, Matsuricon 2012. But yes, he answered that question there too! Did you also get a girl who wanted him to sign her wedding picture because she walked down the aisle to Aerith's theme song?
Ooo, nice choice for a wedding theme. Maybe some day if I get engaged I can convince her to do something different from the normal as well.
I absolutely agree. If and when I get married, I really hope my bride will walk down the aisle to Theme of Love.
