As the title suggests, this is the 2nd signature pic i've made. CnC please, and do you think it's better than my previous? Spoiler
I think this is a huge improvement from your first signature! I like background, it goes well with the normal Silver. :D The text seems to be a bit out of place, though. Maybe lower the ocapacity(sp?) on the text, or make it a lighter color. Not too light, though. XD
I'm not much of an art critic, but I'll give what little input I have; - Good character placement - Raise the text higher to reveal full outline - Creative background - A smaller size perhaps - Try experimenting with different fonts/Colors
What program are you using? First off, you have no flow. Both the picture of Silver and the text have been slapped on randomly with no regard for aesthetic placement, color scheme matching or even blending with the background texture. Furthermore, the render is extremely grainy. It is hard to believe that you spent more than five minutes on this. It is too large for this forum. The maximum size for signature images is 500x500. You will be asked to remove it from your signature or resize it if you do not change it yourself.
It's quite an improvement from your first attempt, good job! Although, that doesn't mean to say there are no problems. For one, as Makaze pointed out, there is no flow in the image, and even if there was the text would probably ruin it anyway. Try smudging a bit. If you smudge the render into a nice looking background it generally turns out well. Also, if you are going to use two different renders or have the image contain two different focal points, try and make sure they have a similar flow with them. For example, having a quarter of an image flow right and the other flowing upwards doesn't always look very professional. Another thing is the text, I feel that the colour just doesn't fit very well with the image as a whole. Also, it's position draws a lot of attention away from the focal.
It is good, I liked it. But it is a little big from the forum. The character (Silver) was well placed and the background image is good. Hum... my suggestion on this would moving the text a little up, it seems like it's cutting the "Silver".
