Are we forgetting that 2006 was the greatest year for anime and animation of every type?

And writing, and storytelling, and music, and entertainment as a whole.

Sorry, some people like myself just happen to prefer anime to manga.

That's different than what I'm referring to though. What I distinctly mentioned is how people are acting like it wasn't a thing before. You're acknowledging the manga now, but a lot of people just decided to SQUEEEEE over it then are like OMG THIS MANGA IS SO GOOD TOO! I'M GLAD THE ANIME HAPPENED! I'M SUCH AN OTAKU.

Those people piss me off. If they were real manga fans, they'd have known of Attack of Titan LONG before the anime release.

Man, as easy as it is for me to jump on that kind of displeasure with those kinds of fans, I'm just glad in general that people like good manga or anime at all.

I do get your point, but I prefer a more positive reaction. Meh :|

Normally me too but /a/ has ruined anime fandom for me. Just never read things written by a typical anime fan. Don't do it.

How I am with just about anything with a large community. If I let communities affect my opinion on things, I wouldn't be playing League of Legends near-daily. Hell, I wouldn't be on this forum.

I mean, that's great you can, but a lot of people get turned off just by the sheer amount of talk something gets sometimes. That's not really something in play with my Attack on Titan statement, but more on how a community can ruin basically anything.

I think that really does depend on the individual that's trying to get into the thing that has a toxic community. Hard as it may be to disconnect fans from a show/movie/game/band/etc, it can be well worth it.

From your list I just didn't like Dangan Ronpa (the song was good). The trial happenend so fast that there was no time for us to try to guess the culprit before.. they could give us a buffer episode to digest the clues or something.. the finalle was terrible >_>.

I've much prefered past years Madoka Magika + Psycho pass + Shin senkai Yori , were so great that they made me continue watching animes.

I would love to jump on this anime/manga fan distaste train, but I have a feeling my one-sided dislike for it/them would be out of place here.

I'm actually shocked there is someone on KHV that does not a weeaboo.
This is like going on /v/ and saying that you play CoD and only have a 360.
