2013 should be the year of anime

Chrimony there were so many good anime's released this year......

Due to my ignorance, I've only counted two. Kill la Kill and maybe Attack on Titan.
I know I praised Attack on Titan before, but that was before I caught with the manga and am now annoyed at it being on a monthly release schedule...
But I must say, go ahead and enlighten me. What other gems were there?

 

We should count all the ones I watched!...

oh fuck yes, i just cant get enough astro boy and speed racer. best animes of the year if not this century.

 

I'm sort of in the same boat. I've watched plenty of series this year, some that I thought was better than the two you mentioned, but they weren't widely accepted like the other two shows have.

 

Okay sorry, its a word I say in real life I guess its just something I invented.....at least I didn't use my fully "Chrimony on a cracker" and its pronounced "Cry-mo-ny"
Also:
1. Attack on Titan
2. KIll La Kill
3. Beyond the Boundary
4. Dangan Ronpa (though the game is still ten times better)
5. Gatchaman Crowds

 

I still haven't found one this year that's really grabbed me this year. :c I like Shingeki arright, not too into any of the characters though. And Kill la Kill is pretty nice, only watched the first episode so far, but it's pretty hammy which I appreciate (and the Gurren Lagannesque aspects of it are also pretty appealing :b).

Only good one I've watched so far is Kill la Kill. Then again, haven't started on Attack On Titan.

 

Like I said, game is better, I got into the series because of the anime.
Than I found the game to be ten times better, I will give the anime credit for getting people into the series, but I usually say to them after they got into it to immediately play the game.[DOUBLEPOST=1384469731][/DOUBLEPOST]

THis is the great thing about the anime for SnK. They took a character driven drama and said, "NAH!!!!! ACSHUN!"

I don't like the comparison of Kill la Kill to TTGL. Firstly, because it's not fair to Kill la KIll, which is so far, better than its animation style predecessor. Secondly, because it's more akin to the flavor of PSG and Abenobashi, where it really wasn't over the top so much as out there. Clearly, they still have the big fights and whatnot, but that isn't the point like it was in TTGL.

Also, SNAFU, My Little Author Can't Be This Databased, Tora Dora 2, World of Tanks: The Animation, WataMote and JoJo2013 were not mentioned in this thread.

Yeeeeessssssss~! There were so many good ones.
But no one said anything about Kuroko's basketball ( which is also a really good manga to) and BlazBLue which only has like six episode right now but whatever.

But Danganronpa is officially on my list of favorite anime shows (it's pretty long)
