Kingdom Hearts II 2 different version for a cutscene?

its posted in KHI but i wanted to listen to your opinios if you are not from KHI.

remember when the PV came out? YAY we were so happy n stuff... yada yada yada- ok yeah old news... but did you noticed something when Roxas was born? he said Roxas... then Xemnas says "the new you"

check the mouth movements

check the Hiragana (of you know JP)
if not...

Watch the Sora v. Roxas (or what i call the Keybladers Fight to the Death) lol
and watch the cutscene on that video and look at the difference!

in the Battle scene:
if you watch closely, Roxas says "Rokusasu" and if you paid attention to the mouth, you can see that he says @ the end "U"
and then pay close attention to the movement of Xemnas mouth when he was supposed to say " the new you"

You know--that's a good point. Maybe they did get new English VO's. o.O;

I was also wondering this--why they had it in the PV but not in the game itself...Maybe it was JUST for the PV...

It's important to know that the subtitle in the PV does not match or translate to "The New You" when Xemnas was speaking. Therefore the line spoken in the PV isn't what's supposed to be said at that point in time.

I honestly think it was just something synced specifically for the PV. I don't think it has any bearing on the game whatsoever.

Thats actualy a good catch. I knew I saw a cut scene somewhere with that scene in english but when i watched in game clips it was totaly silent. Please Please be a hint that it is comming to American/Europe release.

 

Yeah, in the PV they just put some lines in randomly. Like when Sora was saying "There's more to a heart than just anger or hate, it's full of all kinds of feelings," it played over scenes. And when Namine said "Don't you wanna know the truth? About who you really are?" In the NA KH2, that's not what was being said during that moment of that cutscene. So basically they just threw voices over the PV.

 

yeah ppl no that, but The New You and Roxas quotes are from the cutscene itself that became silent. The rest are in English except the newly added 1s

 

Just further proves that they just put lines over the PV, and weren't meant to be part of the scene itself.
