I dont know about PAIN, but Uncharted and a 160 GB harddrive sounds nice for those people who like to go for the best when buying a console. I'll probably just get a new harddrive though since I already have a ps3 and my 40 GB hit the halfway mark. Damn you tempting demos. *waits for people to post about the lack of b/c even though a ps2 would just be cheaper* <:

The new 80GB model that is coming out is the old 40GB model with a larger hard-drive, it has no PS2 BC

So what Sony is doing is making "new" PS3 models that have nothing new other then a few more GB added on the HDD in hope that it will justify its high price.

If I want a bigger fu*king HDD I'll just buy one and install it myself...

This looks like an 80gb Ps3.
    Should've had other features.
Though this might be a good thing for those who don't one.

according to the blog it can read DVD discs, but it might just be for movies and not games. i HOPE it has PS2 compatibility. it's nice that it's being charged at the same price as the 80 GB taht is being sold now. but i don't understand what the beneift of having a big harddrive is for the PS3. what can a PS3 store inside it's hardrive? is it like a computer?

I can't even begin to comprehend what you're talking about.

Was it that much of a massive triumph when the 360 had a 120GB hard-drive when the PS3 only had a 60? Not really, it's just hard-drive space, I don't see how this is a massive triumph, if anything it's pretty annoying that they're continually changing what a PS3 actually has instead of keeping the console's features stable so that the customers aren't confused at wtf they're buying.

While the 360's list of features and hardware specifications keeps growing as time goes by and later 360's are improvements to previous iterations, the PS3 is getting worse the more time goes by, Sony just keeps cutting back on the PS3's hardware in order to try and make a profit off of consoles sold, and that's just really fcking annoying to anyone who wants to buy a PS3, because they just see it as them getting screwed over and over again as time goes by.

It isn't that all but i've noticed that Microsoft stocks have been worth less and less every time i look in the papers and this is because of the google incident. They've been trying to pull the stocks worth up but everything they use doesn't work.Sony is rising slowly out of the ashes of it scorched start where they were at a lose.
