EDIT: figured it out. and my conclusion: your full of BS. the girl is Mentally ill and 13. so technically she didn't need to die. and she didn't deserve to be raped.

 

One thing that puzzles me is, did the aunt know it was illegal to get raped? (edit) I wouldn't of reported it if I knew it was.

Where are you getting the sickening idea that she wanted to get rapped, then killed? Men come with guns? and you have no choice but to get rapped or risk dying. Unfortunately for her, she both got rapped and killed.

 

I'm amazed that most people here are surprised by this. It's a common thing in the Arab nations, and there's not much we can do to fix it. Like I said before, it bears alot of similarities to Christianity, historically speaking. It's merely history repeating itself.

 

These are the kind of things that realy make no sense and are acts of injustice. It ammazes me how corrupt the political systems are in the middle east (generaly, maybe some exceptions).

these things happened a lot with the Taliban before the War in Afghanistan. Ever see the movie the Kite Runner? they didn't just make that stuff up. that's why, along with 9/11, we started the war in Afghanistan. somewhere along, we got the idea to go to Iraq and since then,Afghanistan has been almost forgotten.

I'm sorry, but back in The Dark Ages, Christianity was manipluated as a way to gain and utilize power. The Pope today has a staff. Back then, it was a sword and the Pope wore a breastplate, etc. They would also use the Jews as a scapegoat for their problems and would kill them. For example, they believed the Jews poisoned their wells and that was what caused the Black Plague. They would kill them because of that. It's the same with the Muslims. They're scapegoating the Jews for their problems and they're killing them for that reason. I never said Christians killed a girl that was raped, but as I said, history is repeating itself.

This is horrible! Even if she was encouraging the men, she was mentally ill and only thirteen years old. Stoned to death? That's ridiculous! I feel horrible for the poor girl...she didn't do anything wrong...

Omaigawd. I'm serious, that's just harsh. I mean she's not going to be like, BACK OFF, 'cause the dudes had guns. I feel really bad for Asha (was that who it was) since she didn't even get a word in. It's true, the world is coming to and in. Revelation! One of the things is "Increase in Violence" and now we are all going to die because society is turning upsidedown. But that's just my beliefs as a Christian. Other people may think we just crazy. Anyways, that's really sad.

 

Is it not true that in the Islamic version of the Ten Commandments (and I do know that Muslims believe that the Christian Commandments are a corruption of their own) that it says something along the lines of "Thou shalt not murder in cold blood"? Basically allowing the killing of another human being under certain conditions (these conditions being set by the religious leaders and usually advocated by Allah).

I also remember watching a television documentary about religion and it said that if Judaism is the religion of peace, Islam is the religion of war. I believe that statement to stand up pretty well with the evidence.
