It's technically a play, but you can get it in a "hard cover" book like manner. It is about a jury trial, a boy is on the stand for murdering his father. The main idea or theme of the book is basically: what happens when a group of diverse people try to reach a single decision, not only do opinions vary, but personalities clash. <- to put it in simpliest form It's very enjoyable if you treat like a play, as it is, and have others read it aloud with you; each having a certain part. ~~~ So has anyone else read it? Liked it? Hated it?
I can't say I've read it. x3 But I've seen the movie (very old, it was in black and white). I watched it in my Psychology class, actually. It was rather interesting and I would consider reading the book.
My english class just recently watched the movie also after reading the screen play. I do recommend it, because there are a few parts different from the book and movie.
