So for my art class, we were assigned 10 themes to draw by the end of the quarter. (Pics taken with my webcam) 1. Lunar: 2. Reflection: 3. Split: 4. Game (This one was really sucky, so I didn't take a pic) 5. Doctrine: 6. Cinema: Currently working on the other four, Battle, Tension, Water, and Free Choice.
Sorry. I got lazy since I had already used TwitPic to show my followers on Twitter and foolishly assumed I could just rip the links from there. The pics should work now.
The anatomy...no offense but it's really bad. I think you should use a tutorial. Also, besides the heart ones...they look like doodles. Where is the shading and detail?
Agreeing with Xaale, the anatomy is pretty harsh. here is a good tutorial on anatomy http://AmourFonce.deviantart.com/art/AFHT-How-To-Draw-Torsos-44486907 and for Lunar i think you should change, because i highly doubt your teacher knows that heart is actually a moon and will probably have no idea who Saix is.
I know my anatomy sucks. I'm still learning, okay? >_>;; I don't have enough time and I can't think of anything else... :/ What heart ones are you talking about? This is why I don't post my stuff here. :/
I don't get how the stabbed heart "looks like doodles." Wait, I reread it... "besides the heart ones"... Okay, that makes more sense. My response to that would be that I'm tired and I'm still learning and I don't have time to redo them and the only colored pencils I have are Crayola, which aren't very good for shading and detail. >_>;; Can someone please tell me what's good about them as well? Critsism is fine and all, but I don't know what techniques I should keep, and which ones I should completely scrap and never use ever again. If I thought these were any good, I wouldn't be taking a class for it, now would I?
Bleh, I'm just giving honest criticism. That's really what you get and give in this section c: Don't let it bring you down, let it inspire you to work harder. I meant heart one, not ones xD the heart one looks very good, but I really think you should work on the people. As I said, look up tutorials.
Well. Now that I can see, sorry to say but quite less than I expected. I liked your computer art and graphics quite better. ^^However, if you want to learn how to draw as well, you should start practicing and read other mangas that could possibly help you draw as well. And maybe get some how to draw manga books as well. Good luck. ^^ Some of the pictures you drew there, they remind me when I was a freshmen when I first began the idea to draw for fun. ^^
