◀◀ ◀◀ Do you think you can manage that?If you do play, post your results here; how many days you got through and if you make it through the whole month, how much money you had left.( this game makes me so anxious it's awful be careful friends )
Got to Day 14 the first time. Gonna try again. Ended the month with $142. Too bad my $760 rent is due tomorrow.
Ended the month with $7. I knew I shouldn't have bought the brat ice cream. Honestly I would've made rent because tomorrow would've been check day. EDIT: Derp, wouldn't have made it. Thought rent was way less than that >.> -Snow Queen
I ended the month with about 67 dollars. Didn't take the loan. I probably should have refused to buy anything at the market...and probably could have gotten away with living farther from the city.
Made it through the month the first play through. Left with $60. :'( I have the worst life ever for all of this **** to happen in a month.
Finished the game with $128 to spare. I probably should've broken into the kid's piggy bank though. I helped him with his math homework and went to his god damn play. I think the least he owes me is $15!
Had 693 dollahs at the end of the month, with electricity paid. All in all it went pretty well, despite my guy seemingly being dying.
For the record, I do this every month. So does my gal. This is what $8/hr living is like, you end up getting around a thousand a month, and that's if you break your back working 40 hours a week.
In my first month I lost my job and with 56 dollars. In my second, I kept my job and only made it to day 28. In my third, I kept it, got my paycheck halved, and ended with 104 dollars.
I got stuck at the "keep healthy" bit. Join a gym? I work at a ware house! I have plenty of exercise!
8 hours a day? I don't think that really qualifies as breaking you back, as that is a standard work week almost everywhere. It does seem ****** to live on such a small salary though, but the work hours seem alright.
Schedules at low paying jobs are more chaotic. You may work 5-9 one day, but then 9-9 the next. I worked three twelve hour days in a row at my last job because they came in at different work weeks. And when I say back breaking, I more refer to the labor and not the amount of time.
Uh oh. I was a restaurant server and I lived pretty far from work. I paid for most things that came up, but that guy that crashed at my house really ****ed me over.
