Silence, fear and tension lingered in the room that Lucas was sitting in. Not much was being said which was understandable, they were being forced to kill each other for the sick enjoyment of the bastards who kidnapped them. Though in Lucas's case, the only good thing that came from this was that he was in the same group as Allen. It would mean he would have less to worry about so long as he could visibly see him. As more time went by, he'd moved over to Allen since he was clearly getting nervous about Sancia being the volunteer.

Not too long after his moving to comfort his brother Casey had moved over towards them as well and like most occasions both Allen and himself did their best to help her feel a little bit better. Though eventually Casey got up and made her way towards the open door.

    "Sancia?"
He could hear the girls name escape her lips as she called out into the darkness. At this point Sancia had been good for quite some time maybe. Hopefully that wasn't a omen to anything.

    "Sancia?!"

In her attempts to call out to Sancia, Casey had gotten further away from the group. With every second that had passed after she'd called out for her, the more the dark realization came into light. Sancia wasn't coming back. After coming to this realization, Lucas gradually rose to his feet and made his way over to where Casey was standing. With every step he took, the less and less he wanted to be the bearer of bad news. It was something that he'd preferred to avoid if he could. Unfortunately in this case, the news would could one way or another and from a friend seemed to be the lesser of two evils.

Stopping behind her, he gently placed his hand on her shoulder before speaking. "Casey, I don't think she's coming back."

Rae Anne took a great deal of time getting back to her place considering she did not have a very long walk. It was mostly a recovery period, and she needed it very much. She took a deep breath as she turned the safety on for her gun and placed it into her sweatshirt pocket and shivered.

As much as she knew she needed to take care of this group. Rae Anne was more focused on herself at that moment, and she felt she could at least hide a gun to herself in case something came up in her group and she needed it.

When she finally got back, the first person to run up to her was Marilyn, who looked at her wide-eyed and spoke,
"Are you alright? We heard gun shots. Did someon-"

"I'm fine... but... someone was killed already." She took a deep breath and looked over at the boy who spoke to her earlier and spoke, "Your sister was not there."
Rae Anne held out both flashlights and handed them to Marilyn and spoke, "We received these as a reward for... surviving." she cringed and then walked over to the wall and slide down it and spoke, "Don't let the batteries die." When she was sloped down to the floor, she buried her face in her knees and started shaking.

No, of course, Jenn thought (maybe mumbled aloud, wasn't really paying attention). Of course they'd make us kill each other. What fun would the game be without a little tugging at the heartstrings? Ripping, more like. He paced around the room, then shoved his hands in his pockets and rested against the wall, then pushed off and started pacing again, tugging at the collar around his neck, itching the skin beneath.

He saw himself, as if from a little invisible camera behind his head - already going stir-crazy, incensed at his own powerlessness. White knuckles, grit teeth. Every muscle a knot of heat and pressure. Why hadn't he spoken up? Why didn't he go first? Someone could be hurt, or dead. He could've stopped it. He could've thought of something. He should've thought of something. He should've said anything.

    Clang.

    I'm back.

A warped metal disc arced across the room, followed by Derron, who crumpled against the wall. Jenn's body slackened all at once, as if setting down an anvil. He knelt over the disc and traced its edge. A shield, by the looks of it. What is this, the middle ages? But then he felt something smooth and wet on his fingers. A glint of red caught his eye.

    Is that... Did somebody...

Jenn looked to Derron, but he didn't say a word. The whole room was silent for several agonizing seconds.

    God damn it...

His face burned. His gut twisted. And his muscles began to knot again.

    God DAMN IT!

All at once, Jenn brought himself up to full height and his foot smashed into the shield, sending it crashing into the wall with an awful, thunderous noise.

I'm gonna get them. I'm gonna rip out their ribcages. A rib for every death- No, three ribs.

KILLS - NONE MOOD - DISHEARTENED

After grabbing one of the waters he had gotten and taking one of the blankets, Carlie asked a question he knew he'd have to answer eventually: "What happened?" He took his glasses off, trying to pick how to say it to everyone. Wearily, he rubbed his eyes, just stalling. In truth, he didn't want to have to tell them what happened. It would be better if he wouldn't have to say anything at all about it, but curiosity was bound to take them over. They would want to know what happened, although he had no doubt they would regret asking when the answer came.

He put his glasses back on, adjusting them so that they sat right, before finally saying something. "Sancia is dead." Never have three little words hit him so hard. Reality was a cruel mistress. "She was shot by Rae Anne. When it was over and done with, we got these as rewards." He lazily held up the flashlight that they received. "I was lucky enough to pass through a supply room, which is where I got those."

It was horrible that this had to happen. Even way back when he had first read about these things, he couldn't wrap his head around how the participants felt, the same as now. He couldn't even begin to understand how everyone that was there was feeling. Aside from speculation, he could never truly know what was going on in their heads. The only thing he could ever really understand right now was how he was feeling. He could say with one hundred percent certainty that at this moment, he wasn't feeling very motivated. What could possibly going on in the others' heads?

James' heart pounded as he saw Rae Anne. He had been wondering if she would come back or not. He smirked. She had an iron will it seemed. For a small little girl, she could be quite useful to them, for the time being. Sooner or later they would split into alliances. Maybe she was more useful then he thought. He looked over at her Rae Anne, watching the ever present fear in her eyes.

He almost lived on that fear.
"Your sister was not there." Rae said. At first, subconsciously he thought she had been talking to him, but then realized she had been talking about another member of the group. He remembered he hadn't mentioned his sister. He's expression changed to sadness. He found himself once more missing his sister thought he couldn't figure out why. Maybe it was more out of necessity then a real worry for her. He felt a quiver in his stomach. He tried to make the feeling go away. When he closed his eyes he'd see her smile, though he'd beat on her she was always smiling. Now she was probably scared and alone...

Even still he could feel pain in his heart, until he saw the flash lights.

He smirked, his blue cold eyes melting.
"What an acquit reward for someone's survival." He exclaimed. "Your bravery has been demonstrated though none the less... you should feel proud, you've been through a lot today. We all will surly go through a lot in our short time here...." James attempting to be comforting. He was a good actor..

Just what was so great about them that such a fate would befall such a mere group. He never saw anything remarkable of his life nor did he find anything of worth in the people as well. Was this merely a random twist of fate? a twist that held no purpose at all? Aeron thought about this as he leaned against the stone wall. Anger had flown all around the room and Aeron was one of the few that remained as calm as could be.

To say that he wasn't afraid would be a lie for he knew just what was going on, but Aeron knew that running around like a headless chicken would do them no good. They needed to address the problem. They were in far too much of a helpless situation to truly do anything. He said nothing and listened on until the first challenge occurred and Derron volunteered to go.

The wait was truly something that made him unnerved. One of them would come back alive while somebody would die. He did not know how it would occur but it was an undeniable fact. The harsh truth of it all was that they would need to kill, but could he bring himself to do it? His mind said he could if it meant survival, but he knew the true experience would contradict this.

Derron's return with the sheet of metal in his hand surprised him and Aeron resisted jumping from the loud clank of the shield hitting the floor. Derron made his entrance casually, but Aeron could tell that he was not well and the blood on the metal sheet told him what the result was. Anthony spoke up and asked how it was like and Aeron stared over at Derron while Jenifer was in a flurry of anger.

"How was it? it was shitty...those bastards..." Derron said with disgust.

It was an uninformative response, but Aeron expected that. The teen walked up towards the shield that was kicked to the wall and examined it. Know thing could probably hold some advantage, Aeron took hold of it in order to prevent somebody from completely trashing it. "Derron, tell us what happened in there...we need to know as much as we can" Aeron asked staring back at Derron.

"Tsk...I got a headset and once I put it on they told me that there would be three more people, one with a gun, one with a knife, and one with that shield over there...they gave me nothing..made me sit around like a ****ing coward.." Derron said slamming his fist on the wall behind him before letting out a sigh "Anyways, they told me to stay near the exit and the brawl began. In total it was four of us, Rae Anne with the gun, Nolan with the knife and Sancia with the shield. It was simple...Rae Anne shot Sancia and it was over...we were given some damn flashlights for doing all this..." Derron said.

    "Sancia is dead."

Her breath became stuck. Building and building in her lungs until they felt like exploding. Eventually, she had to let go. When she did her legs, now feeling weak, carried her over to the food brought back. She pocketed an energy bar, deciding it to save it for later. She wanted to grab more and keep it all to herself, but the group probably would become unhappy with that. So just this... Least for now.

Maybe she could snag some water too but she was lucky enough to have some on the bus. There was no immediate need for it. The only need she thought that she needed now was the full story. Rae Anne was a killer. She would have to be wary of that one.

But how did it happen? Was there any chance to run presented? She needed to know in case her turn was the same because now the reality was sinking in even more than before.

The only reason panic was alongside with was probably because she wasn't there. So the only thing cared for now was getting out alive.

"What... More details..." Okay. Maybe there was a bit of panic.

    Waiting was the hardest part.

To just sit around feeling helpless while the group slowly awaited the return of one of their own. And if she wasn't dead, some one else was. The gunshot put a dark image in the back of his head. Seeing her lifeless body in a pool of her own blood, streaming across the floor.

He wanted to keel telling himself it wasn't real, but it become more and more of a possibility with each passing minute. The lanky blonde girl was already muttering the girl's name; "Sancia" a few times to see if she would answer. 'Sancia.' he tworded aloud. He almost felt bad he didn't know her name before she left. It wouldn't have made any difference, but it would have gotten more sympathy out of him. He didnt know any of these kids' names, ad he didn't know if they knew his, but whether or not they were familiarized didn't change their situation. Of course, maybe knowing each other's strengths would prove vital... But why bring that up now of all time? When everyone is on the edge of their feet in worry.

One of the boys from his group stepped behind the blonde girl to console her. ""Casey, I don't think she's coming back."

Simon looked up from his own shoes and onto Casey's expression. Her mind probably wasn't even there. No doubt picturing the same things in her head as he was.

There were some expected reactions from the others. A few hitched breaths here and there amongst the small group of people. "What... More details..." He let out an exasperated sigh. It would be natural that everyone would want to know more details. He should've thoroughly explained everything from the start.

After taking in a calming breath, he started. "After I left the room, I was instructed to pass through the supply room to grab a knife. There weren't any lights on, so I had to feel around for it in the dark. After that, I entered the room beyond it and found Rae Anne, assembling a gun out of a box. I walked towards her very slowly, doing a miserable job of controlling my breath and keeping myself calm. When she almost completed the gun, she pinched herself on the slide, but still managed to get a hold of it. After that, Sancia walked into the room and..." He paused and stared distantly at the floor. Describing everything that happened in that room reminded him of the horrid feeling he had in his gut.

"She was shot. Even though she had a shield, she was shot and killed as soon as she entered. From what I saw, Rae Anne shot the gun off in a panic. Her face said as much, anyways." He recalled how she dropped the gun almost immediately after she had done it. "Don't blame her for killing someone else, after all, I was in there for the same reason. I expect that by the end of this, all of us will have killed at least one other person." It was harsh to say any of that, but it was the truth. That really was what he thought about their situation at the moment.

We were given some damn flashlights for doing all this...

Flashlights, Jenn spat. Son of a bitch.

Jenn's eyes drifted from the shield, to Derron, to the open hallway and back again. He knelt by it and picked it up by the edge, tracing it again. Either his kick or the collision had left a dent, but it was still intact. Might not hold up against a gun, but it would stop a knife and might catch someone by surprise.

Something about the shield turned his stomach. It looked like it had taken a lot of hits, and the blood had already dried. Battered and bloody from getting beat up nonstop, and all it could do was keep getting hit... Reminded him of himself. Figures he'd end up with it.

Finally, Jenn snapped himself out of it and turned to the others.

I stand by what I said. We need to find the other groups and stick together. There's power in numbers, and we won't figure a way out of this by sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves.

    "Casey, I don't think she's coming back."

She didn't want to believe it. She could feel her stomach flip the moment she hear Lucas's voice, despite how soothing its tone was. She didn't move - rather, she couldn't. The atmosphere was so eerily silent and the only thing Casey could comprehend was that the tears falling from her eyes showed no sign of stopping.

Sancia was dead. The gunshot that they heard killed her - and the one who killed her was someone they all probably knew. Sancia and her killer was one of them. It could have been anyone else in either of their shoes and the twisted truth was - they were all going to have a chance to be victim or killer any time soon. Those thoughts couldn't help but make it to Casey's mind and that's when she realized that she was trembling again. The dusky air made it into her lungs in shaky breaths and images of gunshot wounds with blood trickling out of them couldn't escape her head.

It was like fear embodied into a hideous creature and it had her in its grasp - and Casey was just too scared to do anything about it. Still partly frozen, her damp ruby eyes looked around. There was little she could see in the darkness. She could barely make out anything past the next couple steps of the hallway. She swallowed nervously and began trying to move - as if she really had been frozen and was slowly thawing out. She was able to raise her hands and wipe of the tears rolling on her cheeks and then she was able to turn back to the group, facing Lucas and the others. Her expression didn't hide what she was feeling at all. Fear and sorrow was painted on her furrowed eyebrows, sad eyes and frowning lips.

She could see that all of their expressions were quite similar. Still frightened, she stepped closer towards her friend and linked her arm with his while also holding it with her other hand and staying close. She would have gone in for a hug but she honestly just didn't want to be any more vulnerable than she already was. She had to try and be at least a little stronger - but she still couldn't do it alone.

So many questions were running through her head, like
'What happened in there? How did they get them to kill Sancia?' or 'What was the challenge? Why did she not make it out alive?' but most of all (most of all because before she even realized it, the words escaped her mind through her lips) "What's going to happen next?"

    OOC KILLS MOOD: Anxious

Nolan was back with supplies, but they didn't come free. That was as expected. Nothing in this game would be rewarded without death. To think that someone could have already been removed from play sent shivers down her spine. That only left what, twenty - four of them? Sancia was the first to go. Honestly, that didn't bother Libby as much as it should have. Something about that girl never sat right with her. She had some strange behavior when it came to how she interacted with her older brother. James was a big hothead and she couldn't help but wonder if that transcended into his family life as well. It would explain a lot.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the small voice of Angie -- one of the few people she was willing to consider a friend. What... More details... The girl asked Nolan. It was a good suggestion. The more they knew about the circumstances the better, no matter how gruesome the details. She scooted closer to the mousey girl and gave Nolan a pointed gaze.

After I left the room, I was instructed to pass through the supply room to grab a knife. After that, Sancia walked into the room and... He paused and stared distantly at the floor.

    Continue, Libby urged him.

She was shot. Even though she had a shield, she was shot and killed as soon as she entered. From what I saw, Rae Anne shot the gun off in a panic. Her face said as much, anyways. Don't blame her for killing someone else, after all, I was in there for the same reason. I expect that by the end of this, all of us will have killed at least one other person.

Liberty shook her head and rose to her feet. She pointed at Nolan, then looked to the others in the room and the pile of supplies on the floor. I wouldn't blame any of us for the things that are happening. It's their fault, she pointed to the speaker on the wall before continuing, and we need to do something. We can't just sit here. We should try to find a way out of here. They had to bring us down through an exit, which means one must be around somewhere. If we run into the others on the way then that is just an added bonus. Considering they are just handing us weapons, we should be stronger as long as we all stick together. Libby moved to pick up the flashlight and started wrapping up the supplies into one of the blankets in order to carry them easily. They would need the food and water later and with them being underground in a drafty concrete basement, it would get very cold come nightfall.

The speakers crackled to life again in the room containing Group One.
"Your representative has lost. It is time you redeem yourself. You--"
The shock collar around Brady's throat zapped him.
"-- go get a headset from out of the box and start walking. Now."
The room went silent once more.

Brady's body violently jolted as the collar around his neck shocked him. He has previously been dozing off as his nerves were attempting to relax. He shot up and let out a wail as he wrapped his hands around his throat. Fucking hell, what the fuck was that? Relocating one hand to his eyes to rub them awake, he caught the last bit of their kidnappers' announcement.

"--dset from out of the box and start walking. Now."

The high schooler's body trembled violently as he felt every inch of skin crawl. He looked around to see the others all staring at him, varied expressions on their faces. He closed his eyes and inhaled deeply, forcing himself up on legs that suddenly felt weak. His eyes fixated on the box as he slowly approached it, his whole body visibly shaking. He reached in and picked out a headset, placing it on his head. He opened the door and, before heading out, turned around to his fellow group members and solemnly said.

"Please, be safe. Good luck guys...!" He gave them a weak smile.

Brady wasn't sincere about many things, but he truly wished them all the best. Odds are he would die soon, so at least he could wish them well. The thought overcame him as he fought to hold back tears. He left the room, the door slamming loudly behind him, causing him to jump slightly. He stood there, in the pitch black darkness for a moment, just... frozen. His muscles seized up, leaving him paralyzed for a moment.

    Get it together.

The white noise in his ear crackled as the sound of someone approaching a microphone became clearer. "Now, you must find the room where the girl was murdered. You will find in the room a flashlight that will help direct you to your next objective." Hearing one of his kidnapper's voice ringing in his ears gave Brady a chill as his body suddenly felt colder.

With the guidance of the kidnapper, finding the room was easy enough, even in the dark. As he peered into the room, he immediately spotted the body of Sancia sprawled across the floor. She was in a pool of blood that almost made the boy throw up. He waved his hand in front of his face as he regained his composure, coughing slightly. Trying his best to keep the body out of his line of sight, Brady located the aforementioned box.

    Empty...?

"It appears that someone has taken both flashlights. No matter, now you must relocate the girl's body. It might prove more difficult in the dark." He heard his captor chuckle slightly.

    "Good luck."

After a few attempts at picking up the girl's limp body, he at last gained enough strength to lift her. He felt absolutely disgusting, to the point of throwing up in his mouth a little. The foul smell of the corpse was almost too much to bare.

Thankfully, finding the room wasn't as hard as he thought. After exiting the main room, he continued straight before making a left and walked down a small corridor, where he made another left into the destination room. The static in his ear picked up again, the voice mockingly congratluating him and telling him he'd be on his own with finding his way back.

Brady dragged the body to what he felt was the middle of the room and gently rested it on the ground. He mumbled something softly to her, around the lines of 'rest in peace' and such. Now what? He totally forgot his way back to his group's room. Maybe it was for the best though; less people means less drama and besides, he could finally get the solitude he wanted.

It felt odd for the highschooler to admit he wished for loneliness, since he'd always gone out of his way to be the center of attention within a crowd. But ever since he got here, he felt... different. Regardless, Brady decided to stay put in the pitch black room, finding his way to the wall where the exit was and leaning against it.

At last he could relax for a little.

...Even if there was a dead body in there with him.

Aria listened intently. Her light brown hair hung to her chin, with a messy pony tail at the side. She pulled it up, trying not to make any sudden movements that would cause their captors to think she was up to something. She had been pretty quiet at first, just looking around the room at Angie, Carlie Libby, Leon, and Nolan. She had accepted this was happening, after a while. The driver being shot, the competition, and the hell they were going to go through. She listened to their conversation.

He paused and stared distantly at the floor.

Nolan had gone to represent their team. She was glad he had returned, seeing as she was a bit fond of him. Though the never really talked she admired from a far.

    "Continue," Libby urged him.

Aria couldn't say she was too fond of Libby, but she digressed. They had no choice but to work as a team now, no matter what they thought of each other. Until of course, they were forced against each other. Friends were more valuable then enemies.

"She was shot. Even though she had a shield, she was shot and killed as soon as she entered. From what I saw, Rae Anne shot the gun off in a panic. Her face said as much, anyways. Don't blame her for killing someone else, after all, I was in there for the same reason. I expect that by the end of this, all of us will have killed at least one other person."

Aria took a deep breath. "This is a dangerous game we are playing." She thought. She zoned out, thinking about Sancia. She hadn't known her well, but she was such a sweet girl. "Life comes with a price. But is it a price willing to be paid?"

"Rae Anne shot the gun off in a panic" The words echoed. "It wasn't a gun that killed Sancia, it was fear." She looked up, a dangerous look in her eyes. "Fear cuts deeper than knifes." She thought to herself. And it was true.

"and we need to do something. We can't just sit here. We should try to find a way out of here. They had to bring us down through an exit, which means one must be around somewhere. If we run into the others on the way then that is just an added bonus. Considering they are just handing us weapons, we should be stronger as long as we all stick together."

"I agree." She told them. "We can't just sit here and wait, we have to act quickly." She said. "I doubt Sancia's group is exactly thrilled with any of us right now, if we don't do something they might try something against us." Aria explained. She didn't speak with hesitation. Her body language was serious, as was the look in her eyes.

This was all like some sort of television show or maybe some sort of video game. It certainly felt like this and the way things kept on proceeding it felt more and more like this. There was nothing special about them, they were just some teens who would now go on a life changing adventure and fight like in the shows. Dominik could not say he was frightened, more so he was interested in what was going on.

A person had volunteered and left, the wait was killer and he was so interested in what she would do and when she would return back. He waited and waited and his eyes brightened as the girl came back. She was bleeding, which only interested him even more. From what she said it seemed somebody died, how sad, but interesting.

Dominik wanted to see what happened, he wanted to learn more about it. He now envied that the girl was chosen, but could he volunteer himself the next time? he wasn't sure about that. He fiddled with the shirt he wore and listened to James congratulate Rae Anne. "Yes...she should feel proud that somebody died" Dominik said nonchalant as he continued to fiddle with his shirt

James glared at Dominik. His cold eyes were fixed on him. "Proud that she survived." He said coldly, winking at Rae Anne. "We're all going to need to make sacrifices." He told him, flicking his blonde hair from his face. "It's human instinct, survival. But most men would rather deny that truth then face it. People have survivors guilt when they're involved in the same accident in which someone has died and they live. But a part of them is surly truly happy they didn't share the same fate." He stood up. "No one truly wants to die." He explained. He grinned, even his own intelligence surprised him at times. "We should really get moving." He told them. "We can't stay in here forever. Plus, we're not confined to this room anymore. We should see what's out there." He told them, suddenly turning serious. "Either way, I'm going. I need to find someone." James told them.

For once, he felt like a terrible brother.

KILLS - NONE MOOD - PENSIVE

He listened to Liberty talk about everyone grouping up and fighting back with the weapons they provided. With a heavy sigh, he stood up and adjusted his glasses. "Sorry, but I don't think it's going to be that simple," the bespectacled young man started. "I've given some thought to this, and I don't think they'd give us weapons if they weren't confident they could stop us. If they've been able to keep at this for this long, they had to have considered the possibility of the students fighting back." He tapped at the collar at his neck. "No doubt these collars are some sort of countermeasure to prevent any disobedience. For all we know, these could have explosives planted in them, or even some kind of toxic substance that will be injected into us if we fail to comply."

"Remember, this is a game to them, and they'll want to make sure everything goes right. If we want even the slightest sliver of a chance to get out of here, we need to be realistic and consider everything." In all honesty, Nolan deeply wanted to entertain the notion of being able to escape with everyone that was still alive. He wanted to believe that they could do it, that they could at long last put an end to this horrible game. However, thinking about it realistically, the chances of that happening are the same as a snowball's chance in Hell. "That means we also have to consider that not everyone might want to group up, for whatever reason they have." His throat felt itchy, he hadn't talked this much in a long time.

"That said, I think that there is a chance we can get out of here." He ran his hand through his hair, slicking it back before falling back into place. "Just like a hunter, we need to be patient and attack at the right time, otherwise it's game over."

Rae Anne could barely contain her annoyance over James' comments. He was arrogant, and she wished he would just keep it in his head. But he did not appear to be that type of person. It did not matter. She wanted to be left alone and unfortunately because she was the volunteer she was of course getting the attention. Whatever.

Rae Anne looked over at the rest in the room and responded,
"Who exactly do you hope to look for? Look, I know you people all have friends, family, hell even just casual classmates you want to protect but-" She pointed over at the dark hallway and continued, "-when you are put in there, there is NOTHING you can truly do to protect them. You said it yourself James. Human instinct and just plain fear. Even the bravest kids in the school who think they are the shit couldn't."

Rae Anne stood up quickly from her spot and spoke,
"If you all want to go out there and chance being stabbed in the back, be my guest. We have flashlights. I am going to stay here no matter what you do."

He watched Rae Anne leave, making a remark at how brave that was. Surely someone like her would be remember as opposed to someone like him. Maybe if he acted like that... Then, even in death, he would appear heroic. The people here, whoever left alive, could tell their families about him. That would be nice...

    Such a horrible wait...

The not knowing what was happening and who was dying left a sinking feeling. However the time did allow him to regain some composure. Even more so as he kept reminding himself that, if he does well enough, he won't be forgotten after all. But it felt like that will only work so long as he doesn't stop repeating the mental mantra.

Eventually, the gunshot. It was not too long after that when Rae returned, though now worse for wear. It was hard to watch and it felt like it he did he would be the same. So his attention was turned elsewhere, soon falling on to the flashlights. Hardly equivalent to a human life, but still useful here. Or so he thought.

"Your bravery has been demonstrated though none the less... you should feel proud, you've been through a lot today. We all will surely go through a lot in our short time here...."

"Yes...she should feel proud that somebody died."

    Pride... He wondered...

But his wondering did not last long when the topic of leaving the room came up. Sure it did not seem safe, but they were never getting out if they just stayed here. However, as he was already thinking that he was going to die today, there was a lack of motivation from Ethan's end. So even as a member of the debate team he was not jumping into this debate.

    Not yet, anyway.
