Alex couldn't help but smile at the interesting pep-talk Julius gave them. He felt both energized, confused, and a bit like laughing by the end of it. Still it was good enough to get him somewhat pumped for the event so he was almost at a point where he almost couldn't wait to start it. Though his expression on the outside remain the same, dull, expression they always got.​

Looking around he noticed that they were missing one member of their cabin, Allen to be specific. While he only had limited conversation with him, he still was curious as to just what he would do all alone. Just wondering had he somewhat worrying, though he figured that they were safe since they were on the same team after all. No way he would do something to hinder them at all.​

​

The Scavenger Hunt had officially started and they work to find something. "So um, are we going to search in a group or break off?" It was a legitimate question. One group would be purely searching while the other one would be more focused on defending there consoler from whatever he couldn't while also searching. The biggest downside that he could see was the teams failing to work together, in which case would make splitting up a total failure.​

They reached the starting point. With how clustered the trees were it made for a good point. Sneaking up was also harder with the crunchy leaves. Still her ears were being put to test as she made sure to be listening for anything. But there was still the missing camper.

"She didn't show for the camp fire, probably sick or just skipping." Despite her calm words Sam was worried. But it will not show for there was no reason for it to worsen the others' worry. After all it probably was just groundless paranoia. And if she was wrong and the girl was in the woods, well... With everyone out and about she will be found in no time. Thus her focus remaining on the game.

Looking around made her realize that she didn't know where to look first. But they should at least cover the southern part of the woods first, having it all to themselves so far. So first she caught up with Sophie, making sure the other two were dragging along. When that was achieved the near by bushes were looked through and she glanced up once in a while. It wasn't likely, she thought, but something could always be hidden in the branches.

 

OOC : on phone so will put a short version. Will update when I get the chance. Btw gonna be a bit busy this week so my online time is going to be weird.

Shouta headed over to he camp circle in the evening. Scavenger hunt time~~

Gripping the flashlight he was given, he went over the rules in his head once more. Look for objects, protect counsellor. That sounded easy enough. Shouta walked around the circle, looking for his cabin mates.

Bryan assigned him with Sebastian. Spread out and go East. "Alright," Shouta said to Sebas, "Le'ts go."

Aislin listened partially to the group as she scanned her flashlight around. She stayed nearby the group but figured they would not find anything and would be spray paint targets before they even got the chance if she didn't start looking for things at that moment.​

Periodically she would stop and look over at the group to see if anything was going on, then she would continue doing her thing. Eventually she shined her flashlight deeper into the woods. She turned around and looked over at the group, "While you all stand around I am going more south into the woods." Aislin grinned mischievously as she crept into the woods. She made sure not to go too far away so she would know where they were.​

.Eventually Aislin pointed her flashlight up one of the smaller trees. She reached out her hands to feel for anything that could be up in the branches.​

Cabin C hadn't gotten very far or accomplished very much at the time of Alice's ... breakdown. Sam had remained mostly quiet and though it irritated her that their 'leader' hadn't proposed a plan, Noëlle was beginning to accept their group's defeat. The competitiveness inside of her stirred up and filled her cheeks with a fiery red, but there was not much to be done at this point. Instead, moments after Alice fell to her knees (once they dropped the topic of Electric Blue), the strawberry-haired girl took a step back and placed her fingers on her shoulder.

It was always strange being taller than Alice in any way. It made her feel a bit empowered, though the illusion would be shattered as soon as the sulking girl recovered. Noëlle like Alice, really, but this was on the extremely dramatic side. The only positive point was that it gave her a means to escape.

❝You guys go on ahead. Alice is obviously not feeling too great, so I'll walk her back to the campfire.❞

Her voice was stern and it was clear that there was no room for negotiation. She gave a deeply apologetic glance towards Sophie, specifically, seeing as she was the only one who seemed to be trying, but was unsure if it was received. When the group carried on ahead, Noëlle turned on her flashlight and shifted to face Alice, squeezing her shoulder before retracting her hand.

❝I hope you don't mind, haha.❞ Her shoulders raised in a shrug. ❝Before we go back, there's somewhere I want to go. Don't worry, I've done this quite a few times during activities ... Our counselor doesn't seem to be into this game so I kind of ... gave up. I do hope they find something though.❞

Aware of how suddenly she had shifted subjects, she shook her head and smiled. ❝I guess you don't have to come, but ... I was hoping to talk to you about what was buggin' you, on the way there ... Sound okay?❞

"While you all stand around I am going more south into the woods." ​

"So were splitting up then." Alex said. Aslin made that point pretty clear, well that she was going off in search ahead of them anyway. If he was to do the same, that would just leave Adrian with Julius. A bad pairing possibly but there wasn't time to worry about it right now. "I'll head east." There wasn't even a pause for a response before he left. This way he could cover more ground and sneak past any other groups that he would see.​

Once he was a not to far away from the other, he turned on his flashlight and began his search. He would have to make sure to check carefully around him so he wouldn't carelessly miss something, after all, he did have a reputation of missing things that were almost right in his face. Though the question was, should he check the trees first or somewhere on the ground. ​

​

Right now he was doing a bit of both, occasionally looking up in the trees and down on the ground. It was working so far, but he had his doubts about it. At least until he stubbed his toe on a rock. "Ow, stupid rock." During his moment of anger, he kicked the rock with the stubbed two. Probably not a good idea on his part, but it did have some benefit. Where the rock used to be was a small hole, not big enough for something huge, but it was good enough to hide something in. "Okay, that works too." He took what he'd found and placed it in his pocket before continuing his search.​

 

As soon as the campers left, erik bit down on his flashlight, light off, and began to climb the thickest tree in the cluster nearby. He stepped from branch to branch as high as he could go and the adjusted himself on a sturdy branch. He turned the light for a brief moment to examine his surroundings and see if there was anything nearby for his campers. If there was, he'd point it out when they got back. After a minute he turned off his flashlight and nestled in.

Pierce looked up at stratana awkwardly and eased out of her arm. Tucker bid them farewell and ran off. She glanced over at Quentin when he asked how they should split up. There was only three of them now. Something about a cabin switch. U-um, i could... i could stand guard while you two search..." she chewed on her lip nervously. They were losing time.

Julius' eye scanned around the area as they walked off around the northern forest. Allen was gone and though he only knew the kid for a day he just left the kid be to run off and do whatever he was doing. As Julius walked around with the others Julius continued to stay on guard from any idiots with spray paint.The faster they got the items the faster they would be able to get out of the game without him getting painted. "Oi don't go around flashing those flashlights all over the place, it'll draw too much attention" Julius told the group as they marched on.

Aislin and Alex decided to both separate for a bit and Julius was quite alright with this for now. With the two separated it meant that they had a better chance of finding items before anybody else. Adrian was still with him so this was much more better for him. Now that he had a meat shield he was able at least be better prepared for him. He'd apologies to Adrian later, but this game's objective was for him to not get hit and he was sure to use his assets.

As Julius walked on he noticed a small tree with a hollow opening in it. Deciding to disregard the threat of a a wild savage animal residing in it, Julius decided to shove his hand in it "Now let us see whats in this" Julius muttered quietly.

Alice Requiem​

Alice covered her quivering lip with one hand. She knew she was being ridiculous, but with Noëlle speaking to her, she made it to her feet, her calves trembling underneath her. "Thank you for offering Noëlle; you're such a good friend. I'm so sorry, everyone; I just can't stand the outside after dark. I'll be better once I go inside. I'll see you all later." Alice smiled meekly, ironically talking down to each and every one of them. "I'll go with you, Noey!" She nodded down towards her friend.

She looked down at the confidante and smiled weakly, every muscle in her body aching from fear fatigue. "What do you want to know? You know from before how much night gets to me..." She paused. "But I suppose that was the first time you ever saw it outside. Noey, I'm really sorry, but you know, that was all real; I wasn't faking one bit of it. It really hurts to be out here. I can't wait until morning!" She sighed heavily. The one time in recent memory where she had been outside at night and had no symptoms of her eradication of sanity... it was here, but not with Noey.

"Imagine the most scary thing you can picture, besides walking through the dark with a pale giant who's wearing bulbasaur shirt, and make it a daily habit. That's a lot what my life is like, Noey. It's gotten worse in the past few years, with heartbreaks, name callings, and other stresses. I keep falling in love, but no one ever falls in love with me. No guy wants a girl who can step on them, and no one at Fortissimo I know is even close to my height. There are sometimes when I really do feel like a freak, like everyone calls me. Some don't here; at least, they don't say it outright. But they'll probably say it later after the way I had a mental break down back there." Alice was calming down by giving her statements to Noey; it really got a lot off her chest. Maybe Noëlle didn't know it, but Alice did; every moment she had someone to ease her saved her life from herself[Song]. It was only when she heard Sophie's remark in the distance about Alexandra that Alice started to get a little woozy and toppled, nearly on Noëlle.

♪ Day 2 ♪ OOTD ♪ Mood: Eager ♪ OOC: n/a ♪

Before starting the scavenger hunt, Emalynn's cabin had received a new member, James. He was apparently around Jenna's age, just a year older. At least now there was someone to keep the lonely girl company. Other than that, Emalynn wished that James could have joined after the hunt. He was on the chubbier side of the scale, and if she were to judge by appearance alone, she could conclude that he would not be much of an asset to this camp event.

Once everything was handed out, the campers seemed to be more enthusiastic about the hunt. The camp counsellors, especially, seemed extremely excited. Even Emalynn was somewhat eager to start, probably because whatever they found tonight, they would be able to keep. Who knew how great those items could be; she wanted to find whatever she could if it was to her advantage.

When they got to West Woods, Erik started explaining the plan and a strategy that they were to follow. Throughout the briefing, Emalynn just nodded. It was her first time participating, so she decided that it would be better if she listened to someone with more experience. The plan was sound in her opinion so she did not question it either.

"Jenna, you're with Jughead over here. James, you're with Emalynn. Stick together," Erik delegated. The girl bit her bottom lip. Emalynn was rather confident in her stamina, She had run long distance races for her school track team since seventh grade. What she was worried about, however, was the boy that had to follow her around. There's no way he's going to be able to keep up if we end up running and searching for the entire time.

Erik then went onto explain what he would be doing and where he would be. "Do any of you have a watch? In half an hour I plan to move, so I need one pair to come back here and meet me so that I have defense," he explained. Emalynn sighed. She didn't wear watches because she normally had her ipod or phone with her.

"No watch, but I volunteer us to come back," she started, "We just won't walk too far away from here, I guess." Someone has to do it. Might as well be us. In an event such as this one, she had no choice but to trust her team mates. She (to an extent) had faith in Jenna and Sean's stamina. Sean exercised all the time and Jenna was young and hyperactive.

She watched as Sean and Jenna started walking away, and then turned to James. "We should get going, too. Let's go."

Sophie wasn't sure how much she didn't care that Alexandra was gone. Could one care less than 0%? If so, then that was Sophie's amount of givingashitittude. And then had come another girl - Toni - that Sophie cared even less about, but she was glad to have a . . . somewhat full group moving around. They came across trees, darkness, and more darkness, and any that looked like they might have some fruit hidden in their branches, Sophie squirreled up and searched through.

When Alice had her little . . . episode, Sophie continued to search around, honestly contemplating leaving the tall girl behind. If she was prone to crying fits like that, Sophie didn't want to have her in Cabin C. Or, really, any of the others for that matter.

"Keep up," she said, jumping down from another tree, looking for the tree house in this side of the woods. She couldn't remember if it was here or in the Sky Woods . . . Probably the latter.

"You guys go on ahead. Alice is obviously not feeling too great, so I'll walk her back to the campfire." Sophie spun around to look at Noëlle. That only left her, the Toni girl, and Sammy. Boring. She nodded anyway.

Noëlle gave Sophie a look, and she briefly -- the moment almost didn't exist -- wondered if it meant anything else, sending an uncomfortable, mini shiver down her spine. Before the pair walked off, "Don't worry Alice, the remains of Alexandra's bear-eaten body will be burned in a pyre of red fire," Sophie called back, slightly playful, hoping for results.

She led the group of three off in the direction of the Sky Woods, in search of the tree house. There was the tall oak, the familiar row of growing saplings ( they weren't saplings anymore, not from last summer ), the growing patch of tall wild flowers. Tall. Sophie ambled her way over and began to search through the flowers, "You guys look over there," she said, pointing to another tall oak.

After waving the two departing girls farewell the group moved on. She felt as if she should do more leading, but the game was made for the kids. It was up to them if they found things or went back with nothing. Right? Her main focus was just not getting hit. That's how she viewed it, anyway.

Sophie was the leader for this. Samantha followed. It would not be long until the three reached a different part of the forest, Sky Woods. Probably. While there it appeared that the tree were in Sophie's sights so Sam made sure to look in them. After a few moments the group stopped. When the reason was noticed Sam followed Sophie's finger to an oak tree. The blonde made her way towards it, stepping over roots and twigs.

Once closer a treehouse came into view, prompting a call towards the others. After her quiet-as-possible-for-a-shout she put her flashlight at the base of the tree (having nowhere else to put it) before climbing up for a look around.

As she spoke, Noëlle lead her through the trees and angled her flashlight down a bit. She knew where she was going, and exactly how to get there without crossing through the usually appointed parts of the woods. What most people didn't know -- or understand -- was that this was a real forest, with deep trails leading up and down, thick clumps of trees you couldn't even move thorough, wild animals, creeks, poisonous berries and strange insects.

They made their way down a narrow slope, avoiding a broken, dirt road leading up to somewhere Noëlle had never explored, and to a clearing. The air was dry, as they had gone the opposite way of the lake. As soon as they arrived, Noëlle took a seat on a dusty rock, feeling the coolness on the back of her thighs.

Alice ... was a good girl. Noëlle's heart actually ached for her, and she sounded so sweet and innocent. Not everyone was built not giving a fuck

Love isn't everything, but we're all entitled to it. Who knows? Maybe by the end of camp you'll have found a special sweetheart.❞ The last bit was said playfully, but she meant it.

Her fingers reached into her sweatshirt, pinching a cigarette between her fingers and pulling it from a cup of her bra. She felt around in the other one for an awkward moment, searching for lighter.

Adrian followed the rest of his Cabin. He needed to protect the counselor, huh? Sounded easy enough. He shut off his flashlight, and told Julius, "Hey, Julius. This might sound crazy, but one of us needs to scope out the area. Some of us are newbs here at camp, and this is uncharted territory. If your looking for a spy, to search for nearby enemies," He put a hand to his chest, "Then I'm your man...and dont worry, they won't see anything... nobody ever catches me in theses dark clothes. I'm not even going anywhere." His voice turned deadly as he waited for an answer. It was all true. Toni couldn't even find him with the lights on in their own house! Adrian had a tendency to disappear into thin air.

Toni could not believe her ears. Was this girl, Sophie, dissing Alexandra?? Oh no, she did not... she had already seen Sophie give dirty looks to Noelle and Alice, but Toni had very short paitience..
Toni's face immediatly went red, even though she could barely see her own hand in front of her. She turned toSophie, and instantly started spitting some fire.
"Now listen here, pumpkinhead. I've seen the looks you've been givingAlice, and I know you don't likeNoëlle much either, but no more!" If Toni's mood rose any higher, it would've been a thunderstorm.

"My brother does enough **** than I can handle, and you aren't my sibling. We're all in this together, whether you like it or not. So shut the trappy piehole of yours, work like a team, or I'm sending you back to your mother in a box."


She looked to where Sophie had pointed and looked, trying to get away from her. This was about to get rough already. Just focus, and maybe she could get past all the annoyances. The sooner they finish this the sooner it ends quickly. Toni growled under her breath as she looked around the oak. this might not have been such a great idea..

From looking through Pierce's things he could tell what type of jewelry and clothes she liked. There was also some photos, most left but some taken. They will be nice to see what type of life she led. Also who knew how they could be used down the road. A locket with a picture of her parents was also found. That was left alone, this time.

And while interesting they paled in comparison to the last thing he looked at. A vial very similar to the one he had bought before coming here. Upon seeing it laughter escaped him. So she was not as innocent as he first thought. Oh boy. Who was it for though? Chances it being for him were slim. Another held her sights? That would not do.

It was pocketed and he made his exit. The photos were stashed under a rock too heavy to accidentally flip over located next to his cabin, but the vial was kept on his person. And once that was settled he ran off, going in the direction his group had gone. As far as he was aware no one saw him heading away from the cabins. Once in the trees it was easily excused as looking for hidden items, which he was doing now anyway.

It was delightful to know that Shou and Seb would get along alright. Bryan didn't want them to be uncomfortable around each other, but he also didn't want to feel bad for palling them up wrongly. Still, since things turned out okay, he was happy with Richie and Elisa, checking around new areas for stuff.

When they had been around the tire swing, Richie found a pack of AA batteries and a long rope. Neat! He wondered what uses they would have in future activities. One of their flashlights took AAs, didn't they? He couldn't really see them, but it was nice to have back up. Bryan wrapped up the rope and slipped it through one of his bet loops.

"Nice job, Richie," he said, giving his camper a warm smile and a pat on the shoulder, "Time to move on, guys, don't think there's anything left around here. We've covered some good ground so far . . ." he said as he led them past several bushes of bright red berries. "Don't touch those," he mentioned, quickly pushing them ahead. He sort of . . . had a bad experience with those berries one summer.

It sucked.

They came to a slightly narrow slope that was just taller than he was, and so Bryan carefully walked up it, slipping once on the dirt and then turning down to the others. "Alright, watch your step." He held his hand out to Elisa first, grabbing the skinny hand -- it seemed a little too cool -- and gently pulling her up. When she was almost there, he wrapped his other arm around her back, setting her on solid ground with a smile, "There you are," he said with a goofy grin and a bit of a blush. "You next, Richie."

Bryan grabbed onto him, and then when the other was halfway up the slope, Richie's foot caught on something and Bryan fell forward, his eyes going wide. One painful roll and thump later, Bryan was laying on the ground, and Richie was on top of him. "Sugar honey iced tea, Richie -- are you alright?" He winced as he sat up, bringing the other out of his lap and sitting him in front of him. He used his flashlight to check for any major injuries. He looked okay . . . Haha, Bryan was gonna have a bit of a bruise later, somewhere.

After some walking -- Richie and Bryan went around the slope and met Elisa on the other side -- they had found a circular formation of rocks. How neat! This would be a good land marker, "Here's our next searching spot, kiddos," he said, looking around the area.

"Yeah, sure. If I don't squash him first." Alice muttered with an equally playful grin. Noëlle was such a good friend that Alice was delighted when she heard ❝Shit...I doubt it, but...you got a light?❞ Actually, she did!

"Will this help? I know most use real lighters are mechanical, but a flame's a flame right?" Alice dug into her pocket and dug out the match she'd found. She handed the match over to her cigarette holding friend and chuckled.

"I've never smoked. God, I'm such a virgin in some many ways, it's not even funny. Especially the big one. Ugh." She put her hands on her hips and tried to strike a goofy sexy model pose. "You'd think I'd have guys crawling for the whole "Amazon" sort of thing. Maybe even a little bit of an underwater fantasy to go with it." She stuck her tongue out, when she realized what had spurred the water fetish too. To say she was entirely a virgin wasn't true. Her first, what would she call them, "Encounters", were in a nearby river, and with a boy that frequently kept popping up inside her head.
