    DAY 2 2/4DATE JUNE 16THLOCATION CIRCLE / FOREST
    MOOD QUIET / ATTENTIVE ❤!! NOTHINGWEARING !!
    OOC . . .

Sophie walked from one of the other dining hall tables where a bunch of giggling, gossiping girls were left. She thought that she might have picked the right bunch, and she was quite proud of it. The most perfect thing of it was, there was no way this could be traced back to her . . . That, she had made absolute sure of.

Was it a rumor? Was it truth? Ahaha. Whatever it was, Sophie wanted to make a sarcastic comment about retrieving her phone and calling the police. She had thought about several things to say to the others, last night. Mostly lies, because what business was it of theirs what her secrets were? Miniscule things worked, too, but secrets were secrets. Maybe tonight. They were all relatively boring people, those in her cabin, but she saw some potential for fun.

After breakfast, Sophie had retreated to her bunk, making another paper crane and then diving into her miniature black notebook, ignoring her composition notebook for now. Whenever she had some peace, then she'd work on some new songs, but for now, she had to update her list.

After some blur ( this felt like it was happening all too often, recently ), Sophie found herself standing next to her cabin mates with Kevin about to begin explaining the Scavenger Hunt. In the background, she was pleased to hear people still talking about what she had heard. She wondered if the source found out yet. The outcome wasn't exactly her problem, but she was curious to see what would happen.

Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies. She recognized the girl, the tall one, who had just . . . popped up in their cabin last night with Noëlle. Alice. Sophie hadn't interacted with her a single bit, only a nod of acknowledgement, but other than that, she seemed to be someone boring who Sophie couldn't get much use out of.

". . . your mission is to protect your counselor and gather what you find for your group. Anything you find can be kept until the end of camp." Sophie listened as the rules of the hunt seemed to . . . drag on. She looked around the Circle to see any other familiar faces, and across the way was a glaring girl, about a year or so younger than Sophie. Sitting next to her was a male twin, who seemed to look away when she trailed over to him.

". . . distributed, please take attendance and get ready to start. The last team standing will get a very special surprise! Good luck!" She snapped out of it and was handed her flashlight. The twins were gone. She breathed out and rolled her eyes.

Standing to face her group, "Alright, we've all played this game before, and if I recall correctly, we're all fairly decent at it. There are several things we could do to keep Sammy here safe, but I think a five-point guard will do us good -- eyes from all sides." she explained quickly, "I assume you'll be staying with us Alice, for the time of the hunt, so I hope you don't mind helping out? If you hear anything, keep your eyes peeled, please don't panic, and use your flashlight. Don't have too many on at one time, and . . . watch your backs, mm?"

This way, they would all have access to throwing themselves into 'harm's' way in case they ran into any taggers.

"I'll take point?" she offered with a sly smile, "Shall we, then?"

Carefully, Sophie began to lead the way into the dark forest.

--- iPod Shuffle --- Mood: Excited! --- Outfit--- Day 2 --- Location: Camp Circle---

Aislin was extremely excited for the scavenger hunt. She thought it was cancelled when they hadn't done it the night before but was happy when she heard it was happening tonight. She grabbed a flashlight that was handed to her when they were being distributed and she turned over to the group from her cabin.

Aislin smiled at everyone in her group but she really wanted to be lying down and just staring at the stars. She wanted nothing but that, she unleashed all her energy in the daytime sun. Jokingly she turned over to Cabin A's counselor and spoke, "Hey, Julius. You don't happen to have." She chuckled before she continued, "Military training to avoid spray paint do you?"
Aislin was unsure of what the other's reaction's would be and she just whispered softly, "Nothing would surprise me."
She felt her bag on her shoulder, she was feeling lazy and really did not want to carry it. She looked at the guys and thought to herself who could I get to carry this thing for me I am just.. I am going to collapse and die if I have to carry this thing all night.. waaah.

Quietly, she stared at Sam. A sack of flashlights were given to them and she took a few into her arms, testing them all to see which was the brightest and dropping the rest back into the bag. Sophie spoke and she lifted her head, throwing and catching the flashlight into her hand with a nod. At least she was thinking.

A few groups were heading out now, but Noëlle made no move to head off so quickly. One of the things she had learned from attending camp here for so long was that the people who rushed off would miss some of the best items. The Camp Leaders would place them later, once the initial hoard had stormed through.

When Sophie started walking off, enough time had passed that a few groups had gone in, but Sam hadn't even taken their attendance yet ... or signaled that she was ready to go. Noëlle rubbed the back of her head and clicked her tongue, turning to Sam with perked eyebrows.

    You ready, counselor?

Her voice was mostly gentle but laced with a noticeable bit of irritation. Sam hadn't been all too ... responsive, lately. It was disappointing. They needed to protect her, but ...

Without thinking any further on it, she pressed her lips together and folded her arms over her chest, waiting on a response.

    DAY 22/4DATEJUNE 16THLOCATIONCIRCLE / FOREST
    MOODEXCITED / ACTIVE ❤??2% = SOPHIE OOC. . .

It was nice to have the day past pretty quickly -- Bryan couldn't be more excited for the Hunt this year, because he was actually a target! Fun stuff, he knew he was gonna love it.

As he listened to Kevin explain the game, he thought about last night. Secret Time. Last night had gone by in the wind, but he had a bit of an idea for tonight. Since camp was just starting, and they'd be doing Secret Time every night, Bryan had some small white, spiral notebooks with him. He thought it would be a good idea to let his kiddos keep track of the secrets they told, numbering off the days. He had one for himself, too, but it was a dark green color, his name written on the cover in silver Sharpie.

Day One's entry had been simple, a simple secret that he had never told anyone but Noëlle: I am scared of butterflies.

But that was when he had been little. The fear had died down into a minor uncomfortable itch. It was pretty much something he had kept to himself because, c'mon -- butterflies? Really? They're supposed to bring joy, comfort, et cetera. Why be scared of them?! He was usually afraid people were gonna ridicule him. He didn't like that . . .

Bryan sighed and continued to listen to Kevin's explanation until it finally came to a close. Before everyone got swept away in the activity, he looked around for his sister, wanting to make sure she was getting along with her cabin mates. Looking over the others ( most of who were shorter ), he found pale skin and short, brown hair blocking his way. For a second, the wall of girl looked to her side and he found that it was Sophie. Wow. She was pretty --

-- Oh, neat! Sophie was in Noëlle's cabin! He sure hoped they were getting along!

Before he could wave to his sister, he was tugged on to get going, so he turned back to his group, clasping his hands together, "Alright kiddos, looks like y'all are my new body guards!" he announced to them with a bright smile, "We're gonna go look for treasure on our latest expedition -- I know that sounds kind of lame, but buck up, we're here to be a bit lame in the face of the public!" He looked around for his fellow counselors, "Good luck Tucker, good luck, Erik, Sam!"

Telling his campers to make a chain of their hands, Bryan grabbed onto Elisa. He weaved them through the Circle that was quickly thinning out, "Alright, keep your flashlights on you and stay close -- don't get lost, and don't let me get tagged ~ !"

    DAY 2 2/4DATE JUNE 16THLOCATION CIRCLE
    MOOD THOUGHTFUL / PLAYFUL NOTHINGMUSIC
OOC WHY DID EVERYONE ACT LIKE THEY WERE FROM ERIK'S CABIN? HERP.
    ◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Quentin felt relaxed. The secret he told was harmless ( that he loved to paint ) and everyone had taken it well. The day had gone smoothly and been interesting to boot. He wondered who his fourth bunkmate was and how Tucker had known that it was a girl, but most of his thoughts were on two different girls from a different cabin.

He had seen the two girls who stood out from the crowd at dinner the night before and again at breakfast that morning. He spent the duration of his meal times studying them. One of them was pink haired, friendly and outgoing, the other brown haired and unsociable. He went with his instinct and grew more drawn to them the more he studied them. Maybe they --

His thoughts were interrupted by the act of having a flashlight shoved into his hands. The Scavenger Hunt. Right. The jump brought him to the present. He looked for the rest of cabin and moved closer to them. Quentin was in unfamiliar territory, both with the terrain and with the game. But he wasn't going to let that stop him.

"So, BESTial Cabin, what's the plan?" he asked. His tone and feeling showed his excitement. Quentin loved games. He was determined to win this one if he could help it.

xxxx Clothes Location Camp Circle/Woods Mood Hopeful OOC Arrives an hour late with Starbucks

The fire was relaxing. Its crackling and warmth reminded her of a time spent camping when things were normal. A smile was able to form, no effort given. Such a feat was rather hard, as they always seemed a bit fake lately. At least during the times they shouldn't be, anyway. Only during...

Drums stopped the day dreaming. No time for it now, since she had to prove she wasn't as lazy as day one made her out to be. The rules were then shared and seemingly the same as the year prior. Still a refresher was nice. If only she had not been reminded of the bears. Scary...

Haha. Let's not worry about that, shall we?

Instead she decided to focus on grabbing a flashlight and going to her group, noting everyone there. Noëlle and Sophie (not that she knew that one's name yet) were there. Alice, who seemed stuck with them still. And the other two whose names still escaped her.

Noëlle spoke to her, snapping her out of her count. "Just making sure everyone is here and trying to remember the good hiding spots..." Was that annoyance? Oh boy. This should be her last year here. Lounging in a classroom seemed better, as she could teach and not have to worry about being slow. But this was also so much fun.

At least Sophie took point, to which Sam had mentioned it was a good idea. With everyone else's flashlights lit and around her though... "I think I'll keep my light off unless needed, harder to hit like that right?" Not stupid, so they shouldn't think it was. Though now that she thought about it she was being too worrisome about others' opinions. That stops here, so long as she does a good enough job not to fail.

A shout of good luck was heard and returned before the group was ready and moving.

Kevin was surely far too annoying for Julius already. At this point Julius was unsure whether or not the man was acting or truly like the preppy idiot he made himself to be. With a sigh Julius let it be but what came next left the man speechless "Oh heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell no" Julius muttered in disbelief as his eye twitched upon hearing the game that they were to play. Wasn't spray paint toxic or some crap like that? why the hell would they make such a game like this.

Maybe the reason he was so upset about this was because of the fact that he was the prey, but regardless he did not like the idea of this game at all. He would have fought back, but he then merely realized one simple fact, and that was that he would definitely not let some damn idiots spray him up. Without a word Julius took the flashlight he received and rubbed his temples with a sigh "Well then.." Julius muttered as he glanced up at Aislin as she spoke to him. She brought up an interesting point and Julius began to tap his chin with his finger as he began to ponder "Hmmm....good question..." Julius said before chuckling as he shook his head.

"Alex, Aislin, and Allen...I'm guessing Adrian must be at the cabin still" Julius said silently as he did his attendance. "Alright then kiddos this is the first challenge that we have been issued and defeat is not an option for up" Julius said clenching his fist and holding it up "We are the mighty D.O.M...which is short for Damn Outstanding Mutha****as...okay no not really....our team name is still pending...but regardless! lets kick ass and win this thing" Julius said as he closed his eye with a small smirk "Now let us stop with the crappy pep talk and move out...so long as you stay safe, you are free to go on your own" Julius said.

    >Location: Scavenger Hunt Area >Mood: (Adrian) Unknown, (Toni) Disgruntled

Adrian ran to where Cabin A had been. He'd overslept and got to breakfest and lunch late. So had Toni. Day 2 was going by way too fast, and it was making these two individuals go awall. Unless they caught up, they could get shipped out. Continuing........

Adrian arrived to the spot where they were doing the Scavenger Hunt. The rest of the Cabins were already there. After he caught his breath, He asked Aislin, "Sorry that I'm tardy. Did I miss anything interesting??" He looked round to the others, and Julius's frowning face.
"My internal instincts tell me that we have the lower hand...Correct?" He said, crossing his arms, "Then that means I haven't missed a thing..just great. And to think that this cabin was interesting.." But he was smirking, implying that he was just being silly. He took out a Flashlight and turned it on.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For a few minutes, Toni watched as her yammer off as she walked to her group. "Sorry Samantha, I'm late. I just hope I don't have to worry about my lame brother, cuz he's cold enough as he is. I don't need to back him up either, he's old enough to deal with his own problems."

A pikachu shirt? Really?! That was the only article of clothing that was available to her when she went to the lost & found to be distributed temporary clothing. Not only was did it have a Pikachu on it, it also was six sizes too small by her calculations, exaggerated of course, but not too far from the truth; a good deal of her midriff showed where the shirt was occupied trying to contain the rest of her. Not to mention the ripped up raggedy jeans and the bra and panties that itched like cra- "RAHHHHH! I LOOK LIKE A POKE'HOOKER!' She yelled in rage inside her own mind. Not to mention it put the theme song right in the forefront of her- Oh no... "Ohhh! You're my best friend, in a world we must defend!" Somehow the choir from "It's a Small World After All" had gotten hold of the intro to that childhood cartoon and given it a go, giving her a personal performance.

"Poke'mon! OH! you're so true" Rang inside her head as she joined her group in the circle, coming a little late because Kevin had sent her to the Lost & Found sometime during breakfast, and she had just finished jogging off what she excessively ate when two straight meals had been missed. "Our courage will pull us through!"

Stratana joined her group and was noticed everyone else's flashlights. "CHARMANDER used FLASH!" 'SHUT UP, MEMORIES!' She screamed on the inside, but on the outside, she was a serene as could be, if not a little apathetic. "Do I get one? What did I miss?" She asked anyone in the group; they all looked young and she didn't quite know who was the counselor.

Sean heard everything from the rules to the guidelines and smirked. Anyone who tried to deal Erik with a spray of paint would get decked... or would he help them purely for the sake it was Erik. Sean sighed. He'd help Erik, because that would be helping himself. He'd also brought along his favourite bag of tricks for his very lovely camper "friends"; this caused his smirk to grow even more devilish. But the kid... maybe he'd look out for the kid in his group. For some reason, her cuteness and purity was enough to infect even his narrow mind to think happy instead of horny thoughts; plus, she was a little young for him.

"Listen, I know you don't like me much, but don't worry: I'll make sure nothing out there hurts you." Sean vowed solemnly, a rare hat for him to wear.

Jenna looked up at Sean with a cheerful expression. "Thank you! Don't worry though, I don't have any food for bears."

Given he just swore to protect the girl, Sean decided against prodding fear into her by stating "In some sense, kid, you're food to a bear." He would have said it, probably even wished it, if it had been Emalynn to say it.

    Alice Requiem
    Location: Circle, Group C<>Clothes<>Song<>Mood:<>OOC:

Alice took her flashlight and clicked it on and off, just to make sure it worked. She was already starting to feel on edge, like she never had before; her raven hair was practically standing! Her teeth chattered even though she wasn't cold, and she tried to stay to the group as much as possible. She felt completely awful, and she knew it was ridiculous! Why couldn't she get it out of her head?

Just then, she spotted another girl that had much in common with herself in one way. After lunch, Alice had slipped on another shirt she'd brought and slipped into some leggings for maximum mobility. The shirt itself was green and sported a happy little face of a Bulbasaur on it. This other girl was wearing a shirt with Pikachu on it! Although... the other girl was bit more endowed than Alice was, and her shirt was smaller, so it kind of stretched, giving Pikachu a much wider head, and didn't cover all of her stomach. What an odd girl... wasn't she going to catch a cold? She also didn't quite know if the girl's belly looked a little distended or if it just looked normal compared to her concave one.

For a few moments, Alice struggled with whether or not to approach the girl, but eventually did and wound up saying, "Hey! We're matching!" Directing to their similar fashion sense.

To which Stratana only returned a contemptuous glare. The crueler of the two would soon be paid back though as Alice sank back dejectedly to her group. "Spearow used LEER, and it's very effective!" 'DAMNIT! SHUT IT I SAID!'

    Sebastian Sonata

"Let's get freaky!" Sebastian heard Elisa say, and his expression on the inside felt like the Nirvana Squiggly face. He shook it out of his head soon though, because he knew he was taking it out of context. He had to focus. Scavenger hunts were like sports, and Sebastian detested athletics with a passion, especially outdoor ones. He'd stick close to his group and try to be as useful as possible. He thought back to how he'd helped Alice get her necklace, and he wondered at the same time if she still had it and where she was... Sebastian gave a look around and found her, as she was hard to miss.

She seemed to be talking to that Stratana girl happily pointing at both their shirts. Whatever happened between them, Alice didn't seem to enjoy it, as he watched her sulk back to Group C. Sebastian felt bad for Alice; she'd always been so nice to him, ever since they first met...

    LOCATION CAMP CIRCLE
The day had surprisingly went well for Elisa. It started out with a good breakfast - ironically speaking of course - where she grabbed a large green apple before leaving with Shouta, Alexandria and Sebastian to the beach. She didn't swim, even if she did wear her skeleton one piece bathing suit under her shorts. It was just nice to be around people, but it made her miss her friends over the internet yet at the same time her new friends at camp reminded her of them.
Other than hanging out with her three friends, hopefully friends by now, she didn't do much. She did eat her apple and even finish it during lunch! Though, even together with the others they didn't do much either just chilling around really. All were excited for the scavenger hunt - especially Elisa. She finally began speaking up more once the topic was raised. She always loved the hunt because it was always unpredictable and it was a little eerie and spooky. She would freak out and get all quiet because she was absolutely scared but at the same time she lived on the thrill of it. It was her most memorable experience from two years ago during her first year at camp but she was sure this one would be even better and harder to forget.
At the Camp Circle, the ever so energetic Kevin had come on stage. He began the usual introductory Scavenger Hunt rules. She tired to listen carefully at every word, but she was just so excited! She just wished the event would start already! Elisa was so prepared, she wore all black minus the skeleton details on her sweater which not only kept her warm in the cool, mysterious forest but also kept her pale skin from revealing itself (even though her hair must have been a dead give away). She put on her favourite accessories, like her eyeball pendant necklace, bat-skull-and-crosses bracelets, bowed rings and turquoise rose earrings just because she was so happy. She was ready to walk into the dark forrest with her group, unknown of what may lie ahead of them as they are to be surrounded by eerie cries with only a flash-
Flashlight! Perfect. Speaking of the devil, a flashlight was handed to her. She gripped it tightly. That was it. That was all she needed. Now, she was biting down on her lip, trying not to smile ridiculously. Her hands had balled into fists. The creepy and the spooky night got her so pumped up!
"Alright kiddos, looks like y'all are my new body guards! We're gonna go look for treasure on our latest expedition -- I know that sounds kind of lame, but buck up, we're here to be a bit lame in the face of the public!"
Hearing her counselor's voice and words just got her more excited! She nodded happily at him, with a bright smile which probably wasn't expected from her at all. He said that they should get out of the circle by holding each others hands and before she could even move, Bryan had already grabbed hold of hers. She turned to her other cabin mates, smiling at them for a second as she hesitated to speak. The excitement took over and she grabbed onto her nearest group mate, Richie, grabbis his hand and saying confidently, "Let's get freaky."

Tucker jogged over to his group once the flashlights were being distributed, finding himself in a very chipper mood once again. The day had been great. The morning started off a little awkward with his moment meeting Chris but it was sunshine all after that! After stuffing himself with breakfast with the other counselors he bumped into Kevin who was - with guess who?! Stratana! The missing trooper! He yelled ridiculously when he recognized her and apologized completely. Learning his story, he honestly told her he would have never thought of such a place to find her - and nor would he ever check there. He helped her find her bags, which they did before around lunch time and helped her settle in as well. Stratana was an overall nice girl, in his head at least but Tucker usually never thought badly of anyone, and he was glad she was part of his Squad.
"Good luck Tucker, good luck, Erik, Sam!"
"You too kiddo! Best of luck!" He responded with a wide grin and an energetic wave as he turned to face the new counselor and stood on his tiptoes. He wasn't short - nope, not at all. He just wanted to make sure Bryan would hear him. He hoped that he would have as great as a hunt as he did during his first year as counselor - which he was sure would happen. Before he turned back to the direction, he cupped his hands around his mouth and called out to the other counselors and students as he yelled up towards the sky, "GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!"
Turning back towards his group, he reached with both of his hands for the back of his head as he tightened the bandana he strapped on it. He decided to add it onto his outfit for the hunt - just to get that battle feel. It made him feel like a warrior in one of the video games he played. He matched this with a determined, comical expression as he closed the distance between him and his troopers. Finally finding his cabin group amongst the moving crowd he looked down at all of them, placing his fisted hands by his hips "Alright! It's time to get on the battlefield Troopers!" he said enthusiastically. It looked like they were all just about ready. Pierce looked a little anxious as he stared at her but she wanted her to know it was all going to be okay so she gave her a wide grin before taking a look at everyone else. The rest of the group seemed pretty excited - but most especially Quentin, who looked absolutely eager to dive into the forest and all of its mystery as he approached Tucker with a bright expression, "So, BESTial Cabin, what's the plan?"
The twenty-one year old smiled brightly at the excited teen, "Well as you know you guys have to make sure I don't get tagged or we're out! And we are definitely not going to loose - not the Best Cabin!! Or Bestial. Or whatever really." He laughed a bit before continuing, "I've been a camp counselor for a while now and there are a few tricks that can help, like surrounding the counselor and keeping low profile with disguise. But hey, have fun too, I promise you that I am not the easiest to tag. At the same time, we're going to have to work together. There are going to be some scary things out there and it's okay to be scared, don't worry. Just remember that we've all got each other. Your Super Trooper is here for you! Plus, I've got the mace!!"
He began motioning them to form into this little circle, with himself at the back. He placed his hands on the shoulders of Pierce and Quentin, "We can do this guys. We've just gotta stick together and have a lot of fun, okay?" With that he slipped his arms into the two beside him and linked with them, not wanting to loose them. He nodded and asked them to do the same so they would really not loose each other. Once they were away fro more people, he would ask them to decide what they might want to do to possibly keep him safe like he mentioned. However at the moment, he began to walk forward with his group, happily.
Finally at his starting point, somewhere in the North East of the forest, he knew there were other campers near by. He looked at his group. "Okay, you guys need to find things right now, so be careful. You're four - go in pairs. You have to find all the lost things, anything can help remember. Try not to get tagged! I'll keep a low profile up in this tree, but once you've found stuff, head back here then we can plan what we can do with the stuff you find. Make this quick! I'll stay hidden." with that he gave them bright thumbs ups and he began to climb the tree. "Stay close together!"

Being with the team and protecting the counselor could have been fun. But what he had in mind will no doubt be better. He would simply need to wait to have his attendance taken and for the best chance to slip away. Tedious. But at least he went out ahead of time and set up trip wires to knock down people and shake the leaves. Would probably only work to scare the jumpy ones, but hey it was only day two. These things always started small.

After doing that in the afternoon he slipped back into the crowds. Everyone had been so busy they hadn't noticed him gone, which makes for a good alibi. That had been the only note worthy thing Allen has done today.

And then the Hunt started. It was surprisingly easy getting away from the others, as Mr. Eyepatch allowed them to go where ever they pleased. He didn't seem all that into it, but there was still hope he'd last long enough for Allen to do as he wished. Those wishes being looking through everyone's belongings.

His first stop was Pierce's cabin. She was his current target after all, so it would just be stupid not to go there first. Notebooks, diaries, anything with secrets written on them would be the first things looked through. After that he will just have to see what he came across. The anticipation was killing him as he waited for everyone to go into the woods for the coast to be clear.

Alexandra walked around the Scavenger hunt area alone. She wasn't sure where the others were, but she figured that they'd run into each other eventually. Alexandra had gotten lost in nature and separated from her group. Well poo.

She clutched her flashlight tightly. She never went anywhere without it because she feared the dark. Then, it hit her. What if her group had let her get lost on purpose, because they were scared she'd murder them like she had done to her ex? That was just a stupid mistake, and she was sure she'd been nothing but nice to them her entire time with them. "Oh great..." she whispered to herself, "What did I do to my creditability?"

" AND SO IT BEGINS... "

Erik had received news that afternoon about a cabin switch. It turned out that for some reason they needed to move some kid name James around and decided to switch him with little Sammy. It didn't really bother him and he hoped things would work out with the campers. Time ticked by until day turned to night and eventually the hour was upon them to commence the Scavenger Hunt.

He mindless listened to Kevin, having heard it all before. The mace was in his shorts pocket, not like he really needed it though. When Kevin was done, everyone was geared up and ready to go. He took the flashlight he was handed and then began counting heads. "Jughead... Jenna... Emalynn... James. All good."

"Listen, I know you don't like me much, but don't worry: I'll make sure nothing out there hurts you." Sean vowed solemnly. At first Erik thought the kid was talking to him, then he saw that the jughead was actually speaking to Jenna. He chuckled with a small smirk at the corner of his lips.

Jenna looked up at Sean with a cheerful expression. "Thank you! Don't worry though, I don't have any food for bears."

Erik had to resist the urge to laugh. This girl was too adorable for her own good. "All right guys, let's get ready to move out. We each start off in different sections of the camp. We're gonna be in the West Woods," he told them.

"Good luck Tucker, good luck, Erik, Sam!"

His head snapped up at the sound of the voice and noticed Bryan not to far away. "Oh yeah, you too newbie!" he shouted back.

    "GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!"

Erik laughed at Tucker's everso vigilant enthusiasm. That kid would for sure end up being the next Kevin at the camp. He gave the red-head a nod before turning back to his campers. "All right! Time to move." He brushed by the group made up of Cabin C and reached out, giving Sam a quick squeeze on the shoulder before disappearing in the dark.
    ☼☼☼☼☼

Once they reached their starting point, Erik pulled his four campers into a group huddle. "We need to strategize briefly. Each one of us counselor's has our own unique hiding places and whatnot. We have an advantage over Cabin E since this is Bryan's first year as a counselor. A lot of the other cabin's just have their counselor stick with the group, but it gets harder to maneuver that way. If you break into pairs, then you'll be easier to search for things that you'll need this summer and be safer. My only job is to not get tagged so that you have as much time as possible to search for things. You job is to uncover hidden items as quickly as possible."

He pulled back slightly and studied his campers. Jughead would be fine out here, but Jenna might get scared. Emalynn seemed fairly confident, but James didn't seem like he could outrun a tagger. "Are you going to be all right out here James?" Erik mashed his lips together in a fin line and knit his brows. His flashlight moved back and forth as he finished sizing up each of his campers. "Jenna, you're with Jughead over here. James, you're with Emalynn. Stick together." He lowered the light for a moment and crouched down, lowering his voice as he did so. "You see that cluster of trees over there?" He flashed the light in the direction he mentioned for a moment, "I'm going to be up in that mess for right now. If anything happens, you can find me there. Then in a bit I'll move over near the docks. Do any of you have a watch?" He glanced up at them, dark eyes shining in the light, "In half an hour I plan to move, so I need one pair to come back here and meet me so that I have defense."

Just making sure everyone is here and trying to remember the good hiding spots...I think I'll keep my light off unless needed, harder to hit like that right?

Noëlle nodded and smiled politely when Sam spoke. Sophie and Electric Blue entered the forest ahead of them and just when she herself was about to move forward, another voice spoke. Her head was starting to hurt.

Sorry Samantha, I'm late. I just hope I don't have to worry about my lame brother, cuz he's cold enough as he is. I don't need to back him up either, he's old enough to deal with his own problems.

Honestly, Noëlle had no idea what was even meant by that. Instead of wasting time analyzing, she flipped her flashlight off and basked in the warm glow of the campfire, tucking a strand of pink hair behind her ear.

We should get going now, guys. Sophie is already up there -- I don't know where Alexandra waltzed off to. Sam should go ahead so that there's someone in front and someone covering her from behind. It'd be best to try to make a protective ring around her, but... We've got some selfish jerks in our group!

Finally, her feet made their way towards the thin border of trees and shrubs outlining the deeper, darker forest. It wasn't long before Sam, herself and the other girl were caught up to Sophie. The sound of nature crunching under their steps filled the air, but besides that everything was still.

Bryan led his group into a huddle of trees a ways into the forest. He quickly waved his flashlight around to scan for any taggers and settled his group to floor ground, "Okay," he said in a whisper, "A lot of people think I won't do too good because this is my first year as counselor, but I've been coming to this camp for about as long as I can remember and I've participated in pretty much aaaaall of the Hunts. I think I know where I'm goin'."

He looked around at his campers, "This is the West Woods, so we're pretty much in the deep end. My only job is to not get tagged, and I think I'll be alright so long as I don't use my flashlight too much, but us moving around together isn't the best idea -- makes us easier to find. We're an uneven number, so there's no way to split us into twos, but three and two should be good, yeah?" He looked around again in case anyone might be near, "That'll be me, Elisa, and Richie -- Seb, that leaves you and Shou, 'kay? Play nice now ~ "

Bryan brought the group to a stand, and then pointed off where Seb and Shou would go -- east of their current place. "Me, you, and Richie will keep going south. Richie, keep your flashlight on and lead, I'll watch our backs. Doooon't get mauled by bears."

He led his group of three to get started, and they began searching around, coming soon upon a large tire swing. Bryan smiled brightly at it, "I remember this old thing," he announced in a whisper, searching around the area and inside the tire itself, "C'mon guys, take a look around!"

THERE'S a STIRRING INSIDE of ME.

Pierce enjoyed her leizure day of camp activities. It was nothing to aw-inspiring, but it gave her time to relax before God-forsaken scavenger hunt. When they were done she had made her way back to the cabin to relax. No amount of time was going to prepare her, but hopefully this would make it a little better. She had decided to change out of her dress to ease mobility for the definite outcome that would be running through the woods in terror. If it happened once, it was bound to happen a second time. She took advantage of the cabin being empty and slid on a pair of black denim shorts and swapped the frock out for a white button down sleeveless blouse. She tucked it in and slipped her feet inside a pair of black sneakers. Flip flops were not meant for running through the woods. She was ready to go by 9 o' clock, which gave her more time to unwind. Mentally preparing herself not to cry from all the scariness that there would be lurking in the dark was a difficult job.

The sun had mostly vanished from the sky, leaving it a clear blackish-blue. The temperature for the evening had dropped down to 68° where it would stay roughly for the remainder of night. Without the sun's warmth, a sleeveless and shorts seemed like a poor decision. The hairs on her arms and the rogue few on her legs stood on ends in the cool temp. If it weren't for the fact that the running would raise her body temperature and render the cold unnoticeable, she would have slipped into a pair of jeans and a slumped on a thick sweatshirt. Pierce wasn't exactly a fan of being cold, or exposing so much of her legs. The shorts were a little too short. She sat down at the edge of her bed praying that tonight wouldn't be as bad as last year.
    ⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜
Well as you know you guys have to make sure I don't get tagged or we're out! And we are definitely not going to lose - not the Best Cabin!! Or Bestial. Or whatever really. Tucker laughed a bit before continuing, I've been a camp counselor for a while now and there are a few tricks that can help, like surrounding the counselor and keeping low profile with disguise. But hey, have fun too, I promise you that I am not the easiest to tag. At the same time, we're going to have to work together. There are going to be some scary things out there and it's okay to be scared, don't worry. Just remember that we've all got each other. Your Super Trooper is here for you! Plus, I've got the mace!!

Tucker was as lively as ever it seemed. A smile crept across Pierce's face as everyone became enfused with energy and cheer. Her eyes darted to the red haired girl. It would seem as if her fourth cabin mate had finally managed to make her way to them. That was good. They would need all the help they could get, because she would be rendered useless in no time at all.

Tucker began motioning them to form into this little circle, with himself at the back. He placed his hands on the shoulders of Pierce and Quentin. A shiver went down her spine and she glanced up at him, face red, We can do this guys. We've just gotta stick together and have a lot of fun, okay? She swallowed hard. Okay. Pierce inhaled a deep calming breath--as if it would help. With that he linked his arms with Quentin's and hers. Warmth radiated where his skin connected with her own. He nodded and asked them to do the same. Reluctantly, Pierce hooked her other arm through the girl named Stratana's.

    ⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜
When they reached their starting point in the Sky Woods, she glanced around nervously. It was so dark over here. Shadows seemed to engulf the land. Did shadows have shadows? If so, she imagined it looking like it did out here. Pierce swung her flashlight across the forest floor that lay ahead. Her knees knocked together as she shivered both in nervousness and from the cold that was settling into her bones. She tried to still her legs, but could tell that the trembling was not going to subside any time soon. Hopefully Tucker and Stratana would just chalk it up to not having enough clothes on at the given moment. S-so, she started nervously, teeth chattering, Wh-what should w-we do? She let the light of her flashlight rest on her sneakers and stared down at the ground.
The light reflected in her dark chocolate eyes and she took another deep breath. Her chest rose and fell and she refused to make eye contact with the other troops in her cabin. This was embarrassing. She was already failing at this and the scavenger hunt was just beginning. Shouting, whistling, hoots, hollars, and other forms of cheering echoed through the dark and her ears perked up immediately. She felt the muscles in her back tense and Pierce straightened out where she stood. Her legs stopped shaking, but that was only because she was too paralyzed to move anymore.

Stratana heard Pierce stuttering behind her. Normally, she'd be livid with the girl since she'd broken so many bubble rules earlier by linking arms with her. On the other hand, Tucker was cute; even enough for Stratana to add a little more bounce to her step. "Oh! Don't worry, Dearie." Stratana turned and threw Pierce a wink and a peace sign. "We're on the lookout!"

The night was pressing, and the woods were intimidating, but something about Bryan's leadership inspired Sebastian to think happy instead of sad. He thought of this more as an adventure rather than a camp activity, and also that with Bryan, they might win. Sebastian listened to Bryan split up Group E and felt comfortable with the decision. Sebastian had spent the day with Shouta and other at the beach, so it wasn't like either was a stranger to the other. "You ready to go?" Sebastian led the way, the same Bryan had directed, crunching through the leaves with confidence, as if pan flutes choirs were carrying his feet along.

Location: West Woods<>Clothes<>Song<>Mood: Defense Mode<>OOC: Just clarifying: I was writing this scenario before I learned of the rule of finding. I could not delete the cuteness, so, in turn, I switched things around and the change actually helped. But Jenna did NOT add a NERF gun to the Cabin D Inventory.
These last words of Erik's stuck in Sean's head even the ten minutes after that it took for him and Jenna to trek their way towards the direction Sean had let the younger pick. "Jug-head". Sean didn't know if he liked the title or hated it; wasn't sure if it was a nod to his strength and ability to defend Jenna, or a slam on his intelligence. Would Erik had even trusted Sean with Jenna if the moody counselor questioned either? The guy seemed to dote upon the youngest girl of the cabin but that wasn't why Sean had offered to guard her either; he didn't need anyone's good graces. What he thought was: This was a little dangerous and she was little to an extreme. When someone or something is little to an extreme, Sean figured something big to an extreme had to be there to balance things out.
Still, maybe this was a bit of a mistake as sprightly Jenna had cumbersome Sean beat in speed by a long shot. It was a chore just to keep the kid by his side. "Hang on!" He called out as Jenna neared a five feet distance from him; his massive arm crushing a weak limb of a tree to make room for his wide frame.
"Gotta catch me! OOH! What's that?" Jenna giggled and then was awe struck as she noticed a NERF gun nestled high in the trees. "I want it!" In no time at all, she'd started climbing the tree.
"Hang on I said!" Sean called out again, and by the time he had cleared a path, he was staring down the business end of a large NERF gun nearly as big as the little girl holding it with a sweetly impish smile. "Don't even think about i-" Poink! Sean was shot in the forehead with a NERF foam arrow that stuck to his forehead for a moment before. "Now... you're in trouble." Sean said with delighted hubris as he raised his arms above his head and charged after Jenna.
"Uh oh!" Jenna threw into a fit of giggles and abandoned the weapon in the woods as she dashed off with Sean clamoring behind her, brandishing his "claws" and softly bumping her on the head with his "paws", causing her to giggle more each time.

"Who was last keeping an eye on her??" Alice, already panicked, was in an all out frenzy over the disappearance of Alexandra. "I'm not putting the blame on anyone, but who at least last saw her and when?" She tried to hide behind Noëlle, but given the height difference, this looked extremely ridiculous. It wasn't that she was acting overtly childish, but her fear was exemplary. "It's the hour of the wolf, and I don't wanna..." lyrics popped into Alice's head that caused her to break down onto her knees, her feet facing in opposite directions. Why did she have to feel this way? She worried about everyone around her judging her, but this choking feeling; she had no air. Her chest was completely still to her as she sobbed. She fell into a fetal position as the winds howled through the trees much louder for her than possible, her senses overcharged beyond her control. There on the lowly ground though, she found her first prize of the night: A matchstick. Wonderful. Alice stuffed it into her pant pocket, even though it seemed useless, because she thought it seemed novel to find a matchstick in the woods; maybe it had blown here all the way from a roadside? Why not? It was a light little thing, she created the pun in her head to calm her nerves.

She half-expected for someone to heave her onto her feet and tell her to stop being a baby; it would be insult to injury. She hurt so much, all over from the overdose of suffocating night. She yearned for morning, as though it would never come.

Richie heard a cheerful voice from beside him, and immediately afterwards felt a tight grip on his hand. He turned to see Elisa beaming brightly at him. He couldn't help but smile back; he tightened his grip on her hand so she would know he happily accepted the playful gesture. Though the two had yet to speak since their arrival at camp, he felt an instant connection between them and it got him even more giddy. He was so ready for this scavenger hunt. Richie turned back to Elisa and replied with a giggle, "Let's do this!"

The duo followed Bryan eagerly as he led the group to the East Woods. He spoke with a somewhat firm but genuine tone; his voice was music to Richie's ears. "That'll be me, Elisa, and Richie--" That's all the sixteen year old needed to hear. His heart skipped a beat and fluttered in his chest lightly as he looked up to Bryan, his cheeky grin even larger than before. He was practically jumping up and down as he turned to Elisa, who he figured would appreciate his happiness.

Again, they followed Bryan to another spot. Apparently, despite this being his first year as a counselor, he was well-versed in the ways of the Camp Fortissimo Scavenger Hunt. This lifted Richie's spirits even higher, if that was even possible. Bryan headed for an old tire swing, and began searching there. He quickly took in his surroundings, and flashed his flashlight on random spots in the woods. Soon enough, something caught his eye as he hovered over it with his light. Even with the light though (which wasn't even that bright to begin with), Richie had a hard time seeing if something of value was there or if it was just a plant or something. What could it be...?

"Okay, you guys need to find things right now, so be careful. You're four - go in pairs. You have to find all the lost things, anything can help remember. Try not to get tagged! I'll keep a low profile up in this tree, but once you've found stuff, head back here then we can plan what we can do with the stuff you find. Make this quick! I'll stay hidden." Tucker gave his typical thumbs up and climbed the tree he had mentioned. "Stay close together!"

Quentin did a mental salute and counted the heads of his three companions. Pierce, Brent, and Stratana. The fourth cabin mate was a girl like Tucker had said. He surprised to find that it was the girl who had her bags taken by the jock at the start of the first day; the memory still made him smile. He started laughing when he saw what she was wearing and barely managed to turned it into a cough. He looked up again to see everyone looking at him. Oops. No one said anything, so after a second's hesitation he made use of the attention and answered Pierce's question. "We split. How do we want to do that?"

He laid out a basic map in his head and worked out that they were the further from the center of any group. He wondered what that meant for them, but he didn't think they would be put out here if it put them at a disadvantage. He let himself relax on that account.

Quentin liked Tucker's plan. He wanted to do some scouting but wasn't sure who to go with. While he wasn't usually judgmental, competition was getting the better of him. He didn't expect much from either girl. Both seemed extremely fragile and flighty. The red haired boy seemed reluctant to go anywhere, but he would be more reliable in a pinch. I'll take what I can get. He looked them all in eye as he asked and wondered what they were thinking.
