Breakfast was lovely, it reminded him of a fancy restaurant his parents had taken him to before his kid sister was born. He was excitedly checking his phone as the others ate and chattered among them. His father was soon to arrive back home and his mother claimed that she was already on her way to come get him and take him home. So he was very happy to have spent this time with the others before seeing his father safe and sound. He felt a little childish, thinking of his day in such a way, he snapped out of his reverie however when one if the boys at the table started acting weird, and within minutes he was slumped over his table. He ignored the tightness in his chest to think of all the things he knew to do in a situation like this. He was one of the eldest there, so he had to do something, right? Jeez, the kid was all the way across the room, he stood up and began to make his way to Alex.

It was so much harder to breathe now, why was that? He wasn't some fatty and he was walking for Petes sake. That irritating constriction in his chest was getting worse. He thumped it lightly and paused in his movements. He had to be light headed because he ate to fast, of course. He took a break halfway to Alex and it seemed like the constriction was joined by some pain. Not bad but mild enough to be noticeable. Was he having some kind of heart attack? How!? He was only nineteen! He had so much a head of him. His legs gave out and he collapsed onto his stomach. He felt bad, on the outside and the inside, he wished to see his dad and little sister, and his mother's smile.

The sense of doom he felt told him he wouldn't see those things come to pass. The pain continued steady as his heart carried on getting damaged. Soon it was all over. Zachary was dead.

Seraphina looked around at the others. She felt her heart pumping, fast, as if it would explode. She started to sweat, and breathe heavily. What was wrong with her. She could feel her power of freewill slowly vanishing. She knew... 'It's over.... Seraphina...' she thought to herself. Her expression went blank, her eyes were all dark brown, no sign of her black pupil. She could feel herself fading, she didn't know who she was anymore. She tried to call out... Aidan... she wouldn't get to say goodbye would she? She her lungs straining for air, her head pounding, her heart wanting to stop working so hard. She screamed. She was in too much pain to do this anymore. Her hands shook but she grabbed a knife on the table. She didn't know why she was going to die... but she would let it happen. As she lied on the floor, her eyes closed, she wondered about... what her family would do... what her sister would do... and she wondered where she was going... though, it was too late to think about that now, what was done was done. She took the knife, and stabbed her self in the side. Her eyes went wide, and she stopped breathing. She saw her past memories fast before her eyes, trips with her family, parties and other things she loved. She her herself singing... she sounded so happy. She saw this whole week also flash by... she would miss Aidan... and the others, even though she didn't know them well. She could fell her hatred for Maria fade... now was no time for hate... now that she accepted the fact she was going to die. She was in so much pain... she saw her younger self... running around like nothing was wrong... she didn't know that one person would make her and break her. She hadn't had her first kiss yet... never married... didn't have kids.... there was so much stuff she wanted to do... but she knew she wouldn't get another chance. She started to cry... as tears fell down her cheeks, they started to burn her face, as if she would melt. She then fell off the chair, not saying a word, but still thinking about her past memories... thinking about Aidan... as she landed on the ground... she got into her 'Sleeping Beauty pose' even with the knife still inside her. She took her last breath and she said... "This....is fate..."

Gunshots echoed loudly off of the television screen. The display was dark and a large gun was being held in the first-person shooter. Bullet after bullet rang out as zombies were shot down into nothing. A bloody looking 'Round 43,' briefly displayed on the screen and there was a joyous whooping coming from the speakers and the headset. A microphone hovered out in front of Ryder's mouth as he shouted commands back to his teammates. An empty can of soda sat on the floor at his feet, along with a bowl filled with stale potato chips. His hair was a disheveled mess and he looked like he hadn't slept in three days, which had much to do with the fact that he spent the last two days playing nonstop video games. What was better than winter break?

It had been nice not having his twin around. Richie was so busy with the musical that they hardly saw each other, but now he would probably be home more. They still had rehearsals and showing to do, but a lot of the crew was no longer needed. There were no more sets to be built, music to be composed, or scripts to be written. How disappointing. There was a knock on his bedroom door and he ignored it, assuming it was probably just his little sister. She would go away if he ignored her for long enough. B-b-bang. B-bang. Bang. The bullets left his gun and his control vibrated in his hand. There was an itch behind his ear, but it was too risky to scratch it. The knob jiggled and the door creaked open. Ryder rolled his eyes. Couldn't she see he was in the middle of a crucial game? He rarely ever made it this far. Forty-three was an impressive feat. "Go away A--"
    "Ryder!" his mother snapped.
Ryder groaned. There were some 'what's happenings?' and 'are you okay dude?s' going on through the headset, but he ignored them. "What? I'm kind of in the middle of a really important game."
His mother harrumphed and stepped in front of his 27" tv. She pulled the power cord on the Xbox and the screen went blue.
"MOM!" he shouted, "Do you have any idea what you just did?! I was on round 44. I will probably never get that far again in my life and you just killed all me teammates!" Ryder flailed his arms in exasperation and jumped to his feet. Crumbs fell off his boxers and he dove for the console, praying that there was still a chance everything would be all right--there wasn't.
"You'll live," she snapped. "You need to get dressed and go pick up your brother. You could probably use a shower too. Ryder you stink." His mom fanned her hand out in front of her face as if to rid an odor. Of course it was Richie's fault. He would be punished for this later.
"Why do I have to get him?" he whined. There was no wining this battle, but he could still complain about it. His mother walked out of the bedroom without a response. He knew what she would be thinking though. Because he's your brother and you should love him. He's the only one you've got, so deal with it. Ryder groaned and kicked over a pile of clothes on the floor, grabbing whatever looked clean.

Ryder pulled the car into the Bennett driveway. Sophie lived quite a ways away from them. He had never actually been to her house before. It was much larger than he had imagined. He knew she was loaded, but not to this extent. The place was crazy big. He pulled the Honda Accord as close the front doors as he could. There was some girl sitting out on the steps and she looked like she was freezing. Ryder squinted his eyes at her, recognizing the brunette to be Pierce Mhenjer. He didn't particularly care for her. She was shy and awkward. He liked girls like Sophie, who were confident and completely independent. They didn't need help from anyone to get by.
He parked the car and leaned back in the seat. Richie needed to hurry up. He didn't want to wait all day on his twin. Ryder picked up his phone, shuffling through the music in his playlist until he found something to listen to. The song filled the speakers in his car and reverberated off the walls. He tapped on the messages icon and typed up a quick text to Richie. There was no way he was calling him and odds were that if he went inside he would just get lost. While he was sending the text, an older Buick pulled up and Pierce hopped off the steps. She slipped on an icy patch of cement and he couldn't help but laugh. There's no way she could have heard him, but her brown eyes seemed to meet his blue in that instant and before she hastily turned her head away and climbed into the car. A woman, presumably her mother, was in the driver's seat. As soon as Pierce appeared to be settled in, her mom drove away.

The request for Ginger Ale had been graciously granted, and then they moved to a beautiful dining area, that made him feel a bit out of place. Oliver found himself entirely tuning out the events around him as he sat down and sipped on his drink, trying to ease the overwhelming sense of nausea in his stomach. It wasn't until then that he realized his request for something to ease the headache had been neglected, unless this was supposed to be it.

They sat there for a bit, some of them chatting with one another. When breakfast arrived, he politely picked at his food. He needed to get out of here soon. He was beginning to feel dizzy and tired, and wanted to go back to bed. Hopefully Reed wasn't around ...

Pierce walked in and he smiled at her, but it seemed like she was on edge over something. Then he remembered his own hesitation, and a bit of last night's awkwardness, and looked away, taking in a mouthful of eggs. He felt bad. She said she was leaving and he felt disappointed on top of that negativity.

    He sighed, and then ...

    CLANK!!

Oliver tensed and furrowed his eyebrows, irritated at the noise. His glare locked in the general direction of the sound, but that feeling of agitation ended as soon as he noticed ... It was Alex. He was face down. Immediately, Oliver stood.

Hey, you alright, Alex? ... No response. His chest tightened with panic and he crossed over to Alex's body to check for a pulse. None. ... Holy shit!! He's dead! His green eyes darted around the room, for anyone; any connection with someone who was living.

Frantically, the boy was supported by Oliver's arm and his chair was moved back. Oliver placed him on his back and began a messy CPR. One, two, three, four, five, breathe. One, two, three, four, five, breathe. Check for heart beat. One, two, three, four, five, breathe. One, two, three, four, five, breathe. Check for heart beat.

    Nothing.

Zachary stood and crossed over towards Oliver and Alex.

Call 911. He commanded. His voice had gone flat and his fingers trembled against Alex's chest before resuming their pumping. Holy hell!!

Suddenly, a crashing alerted Oliver and he whipped around. Zachary had fallen to the floor, bumping into the table and causing a glass to fall and shatter. He was as still as Alex had been on his plate.

    ... Why!?

Why was his vision getting blurry? He wasn't dying TOO was he?! A violent, frightened jab against his cheeks, confirmed that he was actually crying. He didn't feel it. Just fear and paranoia. He didn't feel sad. He crawled from Alex's corpse to Zachary's, starting CPR on him too, muttering to himself. He could hardly breathe, let alone provide air for another. He wiped the tears from his eyes with the back of his hand.

He listened for his heart beat ...

    Nothing.

And then, another thump. Seraphina. He watched, frozen as she tumbled to the floor and grabbed a knife, stabbing herself in the side with empty, untelling eyes. His hands dropped to his sides. He couldn't keep up. Then, survival instinct took full control and he found himself gagging, on his hands and knees, trying to vomit.

Did you poison us, Sophie--or Lucas? Are we all going to die now?! He spat, angrily, frantically, from the floor. He was shaking and emotional, prepared for another fallen body. Prepared for some kind of heart attack himself.

Richie had finished his breakfast relatively quickly, scarfing down the food faster than you'd expect from a boy his size. He leaned back in his chair slightly, and released a happy sigh. That food was good... it hit the spot, most certainly!

    "Good morning, Rich."

The blonde felt a peck on his cheek as his best friend sat down next to him. He smiled at her, and greeted, "Hey Elisa! How did you slee-"

Before the boy could utter another word, he spat up blood all over the table. He felt sharp pains in his mouth, chest, throat, and most especially his stomach. More blood followed as he clutched his stomach, falling off the chair. He curled into a ball and began weeping as blood continued to drip out of his agape mouth. Suddenly, it got much harder to breathe. He began gasping for air, reaching a hand up for someone to help. His loud wails of pain died down to a bone-chilling silence.

The last thing Richie saw before he past was Elisa. He attempted to reconcile on all their fond memories before he became unconscious. The first time they met... when he came out to her... all their "dates" over the years... the musical. Time seemed to slow down as he at long last closed his eyes, envisioning Elisa's smiling face, along with his family and Zach. He mouthed a sorrowful 'goodbye' before finally resting.

    Dennis Baker:
    [---Day 6(3/4)---December 26th---Location: Sophie's House(Kitchen--->Dining Room)---Mood: Terror---Ooc: N/A]

Dennis grabbed his milk that was set next to him...which was a bit surprising because he didn't remember saying anything about wanting milk. Although the surprise was lessened by the fact that Dennis had already assumed that Lucas was some sort of omnipresent mind reader at this point anyway. However the kitchen started getting crowded so they were all escorted into the dining room.

Dennis just sort of sit back and listened to any idle chit chat not going on while he was pondering on something. His chain of thought was finally broken by the sweet smell of food. At this point he realized just how much he required food. Sure lollipops and cake were great from a deliciousness standpoint, but they certainly were not filling enough for this growing lad. He set up his plate, took out his lollipop, and was just about to start savagely devouring all the food in sight when he just remembered that other people were actually in this room. As such he did his best to act as polite and cordial as possible, though table manners weren't one of his strong points. Regardless he still did his best to hold table etiquette and ate his breakfast foods. He soon enough gulped down the milk he had from before, retrieved the lollipop and was about to put it back in his mouth until he noticed something horrifying.

The kid named Alex looked awful. His hand was clutching his chest like he was in physical pain and his face matched that diagnosis. Dennis then noticed someone else trying to go to aid him with what appeared to be massive chest pains, but that ended up ending horribly. The blonde kid looked like he was struggling and in pain before he finally collapsed on his way to and looked dead. At this point Alex had already collapsed and his face fell flat onto the table. His attention was drawn to another person who let out a scream.

The young girl looked like she was going absolutely insane. Her expression went completely blank, soulless even, as she grabbed a knife and stabbed herself to death. This death was way more shocking because this was just straight up suicide. No prompting or anything, just death.

The final thing that took the boy part horror was the death of Richie. Richie's death was the messiest and most violent of them all. Blood started pouring out of his mouth and all over the place. It was a sight that, while he had seen it in his shows before, was too real to deal with. All of the deaths were just too real. There was no way they could be dead right? They were all just children enjoying a party. There's no reason any of them should be dead. None whatsoever. They couldn't, they can't, they aren't, it just wouldn't be fair at all!

Everything was just wrong wrong wrong! His expression was one that easily showed his terror. His mouth just sort of gawked open and his eyes went blank for a bit there. His body just stopped, petrified in sheer fear. If not for the fact that he was quivering all over the place and his arm was violently shaking he might've been mistaken for dead as well. His eyes, while remaining blank, started gushing out water. Not only did his vision start to blur due to the unrelenting stream of tears but his heart rate significantly raised. His breath shortened and he started to sweat profusely. Everything around him seemed like it was spinning, just so surreal to be reality. All the corpses that were just lining the room were plaguing his mind as he tried to quickly shut all of it away. He just wanted to not be here, not only this house, but this reality. He wanted to run away as far as he could but his body wouldn't respond at all. His mind started to shut out all everything he could perceive for a brief moment and he quickly retreated into a place that some would call their "happy place." In reality, he was still just sitting in his seat. Petrified.

Did you poison us, Sophie--or Lucas? Are we all going to die now?!

This statement jolted Dennis back into reality, as much as he didn't want to be there. He looked around and still noticed all the bodies. Was that really his fate? To die here, now? He didn't want it to be so, but what could he do? He sat there, helplessly. If he was right, that Sophie and/or Lucas were out to kill them all, then what could they have done? He continued to sit there, wanting to run, but his body wouldn't let him. He was just utterly helpless.

The breakfast seemed to be going just fine. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves until-

She noticed that Alex suddenly didn't look well, and all the sudden had collapsed in his food. She was going to laugh, had it he not suddenly gone limp. She jumped out of her seat, nearly screaming but covered her mouth. Her dad's words entered into her head. In emergencies, stay calm. No matter what. Stay-

Then another girl, she started to spaz. She even grabbed a knife! And then Richie, and then another boy... They sudden passed out the same way almost. Maybe they were poisoned. Was it to get rid of them for good? She quickly pulled out her phone from her pocket, hitting the emergency button. Her hands were shaking as she quickly went over to the boy named Richie, turning him over.

    "911, what is your emergency-"

    "Please! Send an ambulance!"

'Make it a hearse,' her darker mind chimed in.

"T-these kids, they're suddenly passing out and not breathing! F-four teenagers. PLEASE HURRY!"

    'What is the address?"

Zoey shakily spatted it off before she looked over to the girl. She heard her scream in the back of her mind. The voice of the operator on the phone was faded away as he was trying to ask her more questions. The blood. She saw the blood. The flashbacks, the horror, the fear she had suddenly swelled up inside of her. Her heartbeat quickened, hammering in her chest as she suddenly felt sick to her stomach. She dropped the phone from her ear, freezing completely. She couldn't help it, and she was afraid. She couldn't move, almost as if she was frozen by some spell. She wanted to scream, wanted to throw up, but she just gagged, her eyes glued to the blood collecting on the floor. She then began to shake, her body feeling weak as the voices rang through her head.

'YOU *****! YOU WORTHLESS LITTLE ****!'

The screaming, the crying, the blood... All the blood... From her. Spilling from her. From the one she loved. Or thought she loved.

Tears came into Zoey's eyes, but she could not feel them. She felt like she was sucked backwards in her own head, trapped behind a glass window. All she could do was see, but even then her vision was fading.

    Blood... Blood... Blood.....

...We can chase the dark together; if you go, then so will I...

Ryder sat out in the car, irked to have not received a response from Richie. If his twin wasn't going to text him back, he could at least get his ass out of the house. He was tired of waiting on him. This was annoying. And to think he offered to give Elisa a ride home too! Why did he always have to do everything for Richie? He was tired of it. Ever since--

He ripped his phone out of the auxiliary jack and shut off his car. He jerked the keys out of the ignition and flung the door open. Ryder jumped out of the car and slammed the door shut behind him. It was bitter cold outside and the temperature stung at his exposed skin. How did Pierce manage to sit out here in only a dress and jacket? He slipped his phone into his pocket and rubbed his hands together vigorously as he marched to the front door. Ryder didn't bother knocking or waiting for someone to greet him. He was annoyed and ready to go. All he wanted to do was find his stupid brother and get home. Maybe he could still salvage a decent game of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 9. Yes, nine--they were never going to end that series.

Ryder gripped the door knob on the large door and pushed it open. It slid easily against the tile floor and he shut it behind himself. There were some voices down the hall and he followed the sound. Richie had best be there. He didn't want to go wandering through Sophie's incredibly large house looking for him. Although, the place was pretty incredible. His eyes widened, absorbing the sights around him. It was an intricate balance of classic and modern. He oddly enjoyed looking over the works of art on display as he passed them. Art wasn't really his thing, but he knew when to appreciate a job well done.

He could smell food and the chatter grew louder. Everyone must have been in the dining room. If Richie was eating when he should have been waiting for him--he stood in the archway. There was no door to the dining room aside from the one in the back leading to the kitchen. "What's going..." His blue eyes widened in shock as the scene began to unfold on him. There were three bodies on the ground. Oliver was hovering over one. Zoey stood near him with a phone in her hand. Everyone else around the table seemed to be in shock. They weren't doing anything but sitting there and staring, except for one. One person had their head on the table like they were sleeping, but their face was in their food. The blond hair was easily distinguishable and even though he paid little attention to his twin, he recognized the clothes he wore to the musical yesterday. "...on?"

Richie? He was okay, wasn't he? He had to be! He couldn't just be--no!--he couldn't just be dead. As Ryder tiptoed closer, he could see that his twin had blood on his face. Why was his face bleeding. "Richie?" he choked out nervously. He stopped about a foot away from his brother and reached out. Ryder poked him in the shoulder once. No response. "H-hey, Richie, man. It's time to go." Nothing. His blue eyes shifted from face to face. "Richie." He was shaking him now. Richie's head rolled back and forth on the table from his shaking. "R-Richie..." Ryder dropped his hands to his sides and stumbled back, horrified. "What-What the hell happened?" He sounded frantic. What kind of after party was this?

    . . .

So one thing happened after the other and Sophie found herself not being able to keep up. Breakfast had been . . . going, she guessed, she and a few others had helped serve the food, and then Lucas had served all the drinks. To her pleasure, Pierce had come to say goodbye before leaving. Some of the others were chatting tiredly, cheerfully, and et cetera, and then . . .

She had noticed, wasn't sure who else had, that Alex had a bit of a cough. Maybe he had caught something last night? She didn't know. Sophie watched him though, for he wasn't sitting so far away from her, and he seemed to be having trouble breathing. Maybe he was choking? She found herself . . . not getting up. And then he slumped forward, and then she was up — but not moving.

    Is he dead?

She couldn't help but thing of two years ago; summer. Oh, god. She hated thinking about those five hellish days.

Zachary was up, making his way over to Alex where Sophie wasn't. She watched the same play of expressions run over his face that they had Alex, and then he collapsed to the floor. Oh, hell. she thought to herself. For a moment, the only thing she thought about was . . . This was going to mean trouble for her parents ( not that she cared much about them, but she was dragged into this too, and . . . ).

Crowd control was evident. The others were starting to panic, but Sophie still didn't move and only watched on with a morbid fascination that brought headaches and lightheadedness.

When she thought she heard hyperventilating, Sophie looked at Seraphina and saw her face bluing up a little. She frowned. Yes, panic attacks abound . . . Until Seraphina screamed, and snapped her out of her daze. A daunting flash of silver later, Seraphina lodged a knife into her side. Visions of a metal weapon bashing into the back of a drunken man's head crossed her mind, and she stumbled back slightly, gripping her chair.

What the hell is going on here?

What was it? The food? The drinks? The air? Were the rest of them going to die, too? Sophie looked at Lucas, who was deeply frowning. The sight of blood made Sophie nauseous, and it was all she could do to not regurgitate what breakfast she had eaten. She was barely registering a panicked voice in the background while she gripped her head and tried not to fall over.

Call 911, someone said. Yes, that was a good idea. They had access to that, this time. Last time . . . She thought things like this wouldn't happen again. One angry sentence broke through to her.

Did you poison us, Sophie — or Lucas? Are we all going to die now?!

She stared at him. Poison? Poison . . . She looked at Lucas, and he shook his head, and then she turned on Oliver and glared. Yes, because this was the perfect morning to have dead bodies in my dining room, Oliver. she nearly spat, thick with sarcasm, and then she tied her hair back, and moving over to Seraphina to inspect.

    Poison?

Zoey was calling 911. Yes, once again, good idea. Next thing, Richie was down for the count. Considering . . . But Sophie had nothing to do with this — and she still didn't know what the hell it was that created this catastrophe in her home on this godforsaken morning. She couldn't think straight, moving over to Richie's dropped body to find any similarities.

No one else had access to the food . . . Sophie looked over her shoulder at Lucas who was now by her side, turning over Richie's face, looking to be deep in thought.

Lucas . . . she said with a warning tone, but once again, he shook his head.

Standing up, Sophie looked around the room, from face to face, trying to discern the symptoms in the face that she had seen from both Alex and Zachary. Goddammit, she let out, finding nothing but panic, which wasn't exactly helping.

The call with 911 had finished, and now Zoey was crying.

    What's going . . . Sophie looked over her shoulder to see . . . Who was that? She recognized his face. It looked just like . . . Right, Richie had a twin. A twin named . . . ? . . . on?

I'll tell you what's going on, she started, rubbing her face with her hands, I have four fucking people dead in my dining room! She pointed at Alex, at Zachary, at Seraphina, and finally at Richie, who, of course, the twin would take an immediate interest in.

Alarms and sirens sounded outside of her house, and Lucas was immediately off to greet them. She stared after him. Had he done this? Her stomach churned at the thought. There were a lot of people . . . No. Not Lucas. Never Lucas. She looked at Freddie, just about ready to scream her head off because she felt so fucking done with this shit . No. She needed to play the good host. Make sure no one panicked.

The authorities walked in, and immediately Sophie was moving everyone to the living room. Yes, this is my home. I'm open to all questions, please do something about this. She was nearly hysterical about it. The paramedics were in immediately.

Soon, they ushered her into the living room with the others, and she was just about ready to collapse again.

Lucas, she called, slipping a bit out of control in front of everyone, her voice angry and harsh. He came from the kitchen after being dismissed by an authority, Are you going to tell me what the hell happened in my dining room and why the fuck I have four goddamned people dead, and why the fuck these people think we poisoned them? She slammed and pinned him into a wall ( it looked quite the spectacle; he was heads taller than her ).

He shook his head once more, and she slapped him, wrenching his head to the side.

. . . You didn't give me time to reply. he said calmly, removing his crooked glasses and fixing them. I have no idea what happened to those four. There was absolutely nothing wrong with them all morning, and nothing wrong with them last night. No, I did not poison the food or drink because then all of use would be like them. I am being perfectly honest when I say I don't exactly know what happened. His face remained relatively calm and unchanged, and that would have put her on edge, if he wasn't like that all of the time.

Sophie spun on her heel and looked at all of the others, then began to pace. Her mind began to replay seeing the blood come out of Seraphina's side, seeing the blood come out of David's head. Seeing the blood. Seeing the blood. Seeing the blood. She pressed herself against the wall in order to prevent herself from falling over.

You should sit down, Ni -

You should suck my fucking dick, Lucas, she snapped, cutting him off, but he seemed relatively unfazed. She did, however, take his advice and sit down on one of the couches. Deep breaths. Long nights, long mornings.

Miss Bennett, we're going to have to ask you a few questions. She asked them to give her a moment, and then turned to the others.

Whatever you think I or . . . Lucas did, we didn't. I haven't the slightest idea of what happened in there, and . . . She covered her mouth for one moment, trying not to vomit, I honestly didn't need this, not now. I . . . She bit her lip and tried to think of what to say. . . . am truly sorry this happened. Putting a hand to her face and calming herself for a long moment, she eventually let out a breath, and then joined one of the cops in the kitchen, answering any and all questions, leaving the guests to do what they wanted.

"Hey Elisa! How did you slee-"

Suddenly, everything before her was red. The pancakes, the eggs, the white plates, her lavender sweater and her bare skin - all tainted with red. But what was it? She had an idea, but she didn't even want to think about it. Her eyes widened as her lips remained in a line. She could feel her fingers, also tainted with blood, shaking as she held her breath and slowly turned to her best friend beside her.

Richie was bent over, coughing madly and holding his abdomen. The blood came from him, it was pouring out of his mouth and all she did was watch in silence as it unfolded. He then fell over, curling into a ball, still coughing madly. She was still holding her breath as her shaking hands grabbed the edges of her chair pushing back at it, as if trying to escape from this nightmare. She felt sick in her stomach, not because of all the blood - but because she was watching her friend - no, her best friend curl up and vomit blood and hurt and weep and all she could do was watch in horror. She felt tears beginning to well in her eyes. No. What. What was going on? She didn't take her eyes off of her best friend, but she knew other people were falling over as well.

That's when Richie's eyes had met hers. They were... bittersweet, as if something beautiful was going on in the boy's mind even though everything was quite literally blood hell around him. Her mouth separated as the tears that collected in her eyes started rolling down her cheeks. She inhaled a very shaky breath as she pushed herself off of the chair and kneeled beside Richie, her bare knees tainted with his blood. His vivid green eyes began to flutter to a close, loosing all signs of life. "No..." she muttered, reaching out to him. Her finger tips hovering over his cheeks. "R-richie...no, rich... babe, come on..." each word being separated by sobs. She cupped his face in her hands, tilting his head up as if she was waiting for him to open his eyes and start smiling his beautiful smile again.

This was not happening. This had to be a joke. Some sort of prank. Her best friend was not dead. Sophie had creeped up next to her, examining Richie. Her tearful blue eyes looked up at the owner of the house. She couldn't even think. Her mind was going crazy. What was happening? She didn't know. What would become of them? She didn't know? What happened to Richie? Was he dead? Was this a prank? Would Richie be okay? Had her best friend just been taken away from her? WHAT WAS HAPPENING.

Richie was not responsive to her, and Sophie had left. Her shaking hands slowly let go of the boy as she finally began to look around the room. There were others. Yup. All dead. Lots of blood. Motionless. Lifeless. Gone. She bit her lip. No. This wasn't happening! No! This wasn't happening! This wasn't happening! This wasn't happening!!! She pushed herself away from Richie, unable to look at him any longer as she let out sobs and a frightful scream. She pressed her bloodied fingers onto her eyes, trying to blind herself of such nightmares - but they were already haunting her mind: Richie was dead. He had just died right in front of him. Richie. Her best friend in the whole entire universe. The one who taught her to dream a little bigger and live life to its fullest. Now, he was gone.

    "What's going.........on?"

She recognized the voice immediately, snapping her head up as she saw Richie's twin come over. He ran over to his brother and began violently shaking him, which only caused Elisa to sob even harder. She couldn't even look at Ryder crying out for his twin, wanting a response as much as she did.

    "What-What the hell happened?"

The turquoise haired teen finally snapped her head up, looking up at Ryder. He was on the floor much like she was, stumbled back out of horror. Another sob escaped her as she pushed herself off of the floor and leaped towards him. "R-Ryder...!" she wrapped her arms around him, clinging onto him for her life, sobbing into his shoulder. They were never too close, since Richie wasn't close to his twin much either. They fought sometimes and Elisa didn't like getting into conflict but she always tried to be polite to him. Now, she just didn't care. She didn't care that she desperately embraced him. She felt more alone than she had ever felt in her entire life. She just wanted Richie back. She wanted him back now and she wished this was all just a nightmare she'd wake up from and she'd find Richie in another room, snuggling with some hot guy.

She hugged her best friend's twin tightly, her sobbing not coming to any sort of stop. She could barely make out that authorities had arrived but she didn't really care. She just wanted Richie. She wished that the body pressed onto hers wasn't his twin but himself - but she couldn't even look at Richie. Not now, probably, not for a while.

He stood there for a moment. not really knowing what to do. He got up to his feet, with his back turned to Maria. No. He couldn't just leave but really what could he do now? it was late but he didn't exactly have plans. Yet he felt this need to be up and out of bed. He glanced back at the sleeping lady behind him before turning his back to her again. God, he was so not good at this... Whatever this was.

A soft greeting caused him to jump slightly and he turned back at see Maria awake. He gave her a short smile as she spoke again, "Yeah, good morning."

Okay. See? That wasn't so bad! Maybe he should just let things happen and maybe things wouldn't be so hard. God, this was weird. Havin someone else know about his past - other than Michelle and his family. Hell, even Sean didn't know about it. Yet this girl, who seemed to have a particular liking to him, knew everything of it. He really didn't know how to handle this sort of thing...

Her voice made him jump again slightly. He looked up to see her throw the covers off of her body revealing her bare legs, barely covered by her dress. His eyes widened and his cheeks started to burn, he quickly turned his back to her again as he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. Before he could even put a thought to what just occurred, there were a couple footsteps and she was right by his side. She stood directly in front of him and her hand reached up to touch his skin, muttering options to start their day.

Tucker pressed his lips together tightly. His heart began to beat faster and he could feel his cheeks still burning up slightly. Maria was so close again. Her fingers hovered above his collarbones under his thick sweater, with the tips of her fingers caressing his bare skin over the collar of his sweater. His eyes were fixed on the floor to his side again. He couldn't look at her. What was she even doing?? Did she forget all about last night or something? Did she Still not understand what certain boundaries he had for himself. 'Okay. Okay. Don't freak out. This actually isn't anything. You're just freaking out Tuck. Oh that was redundant. Wait. You have to respond. Her question!! but wait. Now what? Um. Um. Tucker, think!'

Her voice came again, now meeting his confused chestnut eyes. He glanced into them for a second before he reverted his gaze again, this time to the window. "Um... Let's uh..." He began, his tone was kind of shaky. Well if they stayed that meant it would just be the two of them and he would still be freaking out and feeling weird like he was now. The people awake, he knew there were because they were so noisy - it kind of sounded like a riot, but he ignored it plus the kids could be a really great distraction and maybe he wouldn't have to worry about Maria for a while... But then he'd be running away again. He looked down at her finally, grabbing her hand and holding it in his as he pulled it away from his chest. "Um, let's join the others for breakfast!" He said quickly and added a cheeky grin. He looked down at her, noticing she didn't have shoes on. He cleared his throat and let go of her hand, " Well I'll leave you to get ready. I'll go ahead and um... Yeah." He smiled and gave her a pat on the shoulder... Not really knowing why he did. It was kind of childish. Like how he treated kids in camp but really he just didn't know what to do. With that he headed for the door and closed it behind him before she could stop him.

A sigh of relief escapes him as he began to walk down the hall, he reached into his phone again and began to type a text,

    To: Michelle
    I've told her. Everything. God, I don't
Know what to do and how I'm feeling
Right now. It's so weird. Can we
    Meet up soon? Thanks.

He stuffed it back in his pocket and stepped down to the first floor. The kids were always a great distraction from anything he was scared of dealing with. He sniffed the morning air for the scent of breakfast in his attempt to find the kitchen - but then horrible noises began to echo through the walls.

Completely alerted, Tucker began to run towards the noise. When he turned to the dining area he had to catch his breath and clasp his hand over his mouth to not vomit. There was blood everywhere and dead bodies on the ground. Before he could speak - even though he didnt exactly plan to, police officers came in. They passed him completely and went straight to the children. One man walked over to Sophie, having a chat with her. His chestnut eyes darted across the room. Maybe he should have stayed with Maria after all...

"What happened?" Came a voice not from his head. It was a police officer from behind him. Tucker turned to face him. He was upstairs! How should he know! He would like to know the exact same thing!! He felt like a failure suddenly. He was probably one of the few adults who stayed... Guilt began to build up inside of him. This was just too much for him. Hadn't he been through enough? He couldn't even think anymore. He looked down at the ground, shaking his head and swallowing nervously before breathing out, "I have no idea..."

Aidan felt intolerably lonely after Seraphina left. At the time, his brain was mulling over possibilities and the right way to respond too much to find his words. She just sort of left and talked to some other boy. And here he thought they were getting along so well. He sighed and walked off away, casually grabbing a bottle of wine as he did. He found a nice little corner outside out of sight and out of mind. He leaned against the wall of the house and gulped down the remainder of the glass he was already holding. He was in the garden from what he could tell. There were some nice flowers. He considered picking one and giving it to Seraphina but screw that. She had left him behind.

He inspected the bottle. Chardonnay. Good enough. He clumsily undid the bottle top and popped the cork out with a grunt. He put the glass down and began to drink from the bottle. The slightly sweet bubbly taste was good, very good. Soon enough, the bottle was gone and he felt very tired. It seemed like it was late-ish and he couldn't actually see the time on his watch. He'd go inside in a bit. Not yet. He would take a nice break out here and rest his eyes. Before long, Aidan fell asleep and was unaware of what was going on inside.

    That is, until the morning.

He woke up to the sound of blaring police sirens. He shot up, eyes wide, totally unaware of what was going on. He immediately shut his eyes and covered them. It was the morning! He had slept through the party! Had everyone left already? Why were there police sirens? He stood up, staggering slightly from tiredness. His head hurt. Was this what was called a hangover? He didn't have a damn clue. He felt the taste of bile in his throat and looked at his shirt. Sick was all over it and his trousers. That wasn't good. He pushed the back door open and stepped inside, wandering confusedly into the living room. There were in fact police. That wasn't him being weird.
"What the royal **** is going on?" Aidan demanded. "I go outside and have a drink, fall asleep and then THIS happens? What the ****... What the actual ****... Why are you here? Wh- Why? Has- has something gone wrong? Has something happened?" He was confused, so incredibly confused and rather impolite as he just observed.
"Ah hell, where are my manners this morning?" He muttered. Something was wrong, but he had no damn idea what in death's name it was.

"I'll tell you what's going on," Sophie started, rubbing her face with her hands, "I have four fucking people dead in my dining room!" She pointed at Alex, at Zachary, at Seraphina, and finally at Richie. Sophie's snapping voice startled him.

Ryder stared in wide disbelief. They really were dead. He couldn't believe it. Richie was--"R-Ryder...!" A voice shouted his name and he hadn't fully processed whom it might be until she wrapped her arms around him, clinging onto him for her life, sobbing into his shoulder. It was Elisa. She was Richie's best friend. His blue eyes were void of emotion as he stared down at her dumbstruck. His shaking hand stroked the back of her soft turquoise hair gently. He held her close to his body, finding an odd comfort in her embrace. He didn't know how to feel right now--shocked? scared? devastated?--so he just let his fingers run through her short hair. Ryder liked it better this way. The long hair was cute too, but this short turquoise bob seemed to suit her better than the long pastel wavy hair she had when she and Richie first started hanging out. Richie...

Elisa hugged him tightly, her sobbing not coming to any sort of stop. sirens wailed and after a few minutes there was a knock at the door, followed by heavy footsteps and loud sound of authoritative voices. They were being ushered into the living room and he shakily lifted Elisa by the elbow. He didn't let go of her at all, holding her close to the side of his body. It was easy, with him being taller than her. Ryder kept one arm wrapped around her waist and followed the others until they reached the living room. He sat her down on the couch and took a seat beside her. His brain was on autopilot. His moves were mechanical. Ryder couldn't really think for himself at the moment. No thinking, just doing. He leaned against the armrest and pulled Elisa in close so that she could lie down in his lap. He wasn't trying to pull anything. She was probably tired from all of the crying.

The police were collecting statements from everyone, but he wasn't listening. His blue eyes were focused on a small dark spot on the opposite wall. How did this happen? Everyone looked so confused. It was just so sudden. He should be reacting right? He should be crying or shouting or something, but he just kept sitting there absently stroking Elisa's head. She was pretty, but over the last couple years, he had come to think of her kind of like a sister. She was always around and his little sister loved her. His mom liked having girl time with her. He always commented on the fact that that's what her own family should be for, but he honestly didn't mind. He even didn't mind those occasions where he would go skateboarding and Richie and Elisa would follow him to the park for a picnic or something else dumb like that and she would pull him off his board so that the three of them could take a group photo. He hated those photos and he hated the silly captions even more. My favorite set of twins, or something else dumb like that--it would read. "E-Elisa," he finally managed to mumble.

"Whatever you think I or . . . Lucas did, we didn't. I haven't the slightest idea of what happened in there, and . . ." Sophie interrupted his train of thought. She covered her mouth for one moment, visibly trying not to vomit, "I honestly didn't need this, not now. I . . ." She bit her lip. ". . . am truly sorry this happened."

Right. Sophie. She probably felt even worse then the rest of them. Four dead bodies in her dining room. That was bound to be a traumatizing experience. Traumatizing. It reminded him of the stories Richie and Elisa shared about what happened after the ferry flooded. Ryder had managed to shore with some of the others that hadn't received help from that strange speedboat and waited for the emergency responders to show up. His mother had been in living hell for that almost week. His mother--he would have to call her. That would not be a fun conversation.

There was a tap at his shoulder and an officer stood beside the couch. Slowly, Ryder shifted his gaze from the wall to the man by the couch. "Excuse me, but I need to get your statement."

Ryder nodded his head. The officer asked for his name, age, address, and phone number; then proceeded to ask what he witnessed. "Ryder Duvont. I just got here a few minutes before you. I was picking up my brother Richie--"

"And which one is that?" The cop was staring down at his notepad, taking notes.

Ryder looked at him incredulously. That snapped him out of his slight daze. "Seriously?" he snapped. The cop seemed to look up from his notepad and then down at the boy on the couch. "The blond-hair, green-eyed dead kid that looks exactly like me!"

"Your eyes are blue," he said nonchalantly, while scribbling something else down.

"Good job brainiac, you figured out the one discernible difference between my twin and myself. Would you like a cookie?" he asked sarcastically. The cop rolled his eyes and flipped the notebook shut.

"I think that will be all. You're free to leave if you would like."

He did like. Ryder nodded once and looped his arms under Elisa's armpits, lifting her up into a seated position. "Do you want a ride home?" he asked softly. "Or, I mean--if you want, you can stay at my house. You don't look like you could really handle a night alone." Ryder never invited girls over, especially not to spend the night. He wasn't sure how he would break the news to his mother, but the idea of telling her by himself was a little terrifying. Maybe he was just a coward.[DOUBLEPOST=1371250585][/DOUBLEPOST]Judging by the look on Tucker's face, she was making him uncomfortable. Maria sighed softly. "Um... Let's uh..." He began, his tone was kind of shaky. He looked down at her finally, grabbing her hand and holding it in his as he pulled it away from his chest. She was just about to let them drop to her side anyway. There was no point in it. "Um, let's join the others for breakfast!" He said quickly and added a cheeky grin. He looked down at her and cleared his throat. What? Tucker let go of her hand, "Well, I'll leave you to get ready. I'll go ahead and um... Yeah." He smiled and gave her a pat on the shoulder. She stared after him blankly. A pat on the shoulder, really? Maria shook her head after him. With that he headed for the door and closed it behind him before she could stop him, but she really had no intentions of stopping him anyway.

This was growing too tiresome. One can only chase something for so long before they grow exhausted. From inside the room, she could hear the sounds of sirens blaring and the voices down on the first floor growing louder. What was going on? Quickly, she slipped her feet into her heels and gathered up her gifts from last night. The roses were wilting from not being in water, hopefully she could tend to them before they were too far gone. Maria slipped out of the guest room and hurried down the hall. She reached the top of the stairs in time to hear Tucker say, "I have no idea..." No idea about what? That had her edgy. Her red heels clicked down the staircase as she came to a stop beside him. There were police everywhere, along with paramedics and... coroners? Coroners were only at accidents if people died. There wasn't anyone dead he--two men in black jackets with white lettering across the back carried a stretcher out with a black body bag on top. What? Who died? How?! There was more. She counted four in total. Her knees began to shake and she gripped the banister for support. "Wh-what did we miss?" Clearly something happened, but how could there be something so extreme going on downstairs while they were sitting peacefully in the bedroom upstairs?

Maria felt sick to her stomach. She was beginning to hear light chatter from the other people and it sounded like everyone was convened in the living room. If she walked in there, who wouldn't be sitting there? She felt panicky. They had spent the whole night up in the bedroom. It could have been anyone! Maria was beginning to fear the worst. There were some people she didn't like, but she would never wish death on them. Oh god! I hope Noëlle and Bryan are okay! She felt faint. Why was this all happening again? It reminded her of Final Destination. Maria collapsed on the bottom step of the stairs, pulling her knees in tight.

"Hey....still fiddling around with that thing?"
    "Yeah...practice makes perfect after all!"
    "....not the way your practising...
"Your real negative when it comes to me and my guitar"
"My bad, just having far too hard of a time finding the allure of music like you do"
    "Julius...Music is-"
"yeah yeah...I know, a way to express your soul or something"
"My my! I'm surprised with your answer...but no...true music is like that to others, but for me its a way to truly make people happy"
    "...huh?"
"You heard me...seeing the emotions caused by the music...being able to have a person find happiness in something I created...that's why I love music....I love to make people smile..."
    "I don't get it..."
"You'll get it eventually...but now its time to get off that lazy butt of yours"
    "....Huh?"
And so the dream ended and what seemed like an endless sleep soon came to an end for Julius. At first his finger twitched and soon began to bend. His body was sore and ached real bad, but his consciousness had finally returned and his mind had finally begun to try and make some sense of just what was going on at the moment. Both of Julius' eyes began to open up slowly and the light of the room came rushing to his eyes. The mere light made Julius instantly close back his eyes, but soon enough Julius attempted to reopen them and soon enough was able to focus his eyes at the ceiling that was before him. He didn't know exactly what happened, but there was one thing he could confirm and that was that he was alive.

The girl sitting on the floor next to Richie could barely fathom what was happening. She was stuck in her own world, stuck in her own nightmare. She couldn't hear the voices around her, or see the commotion that was happening. She was just there, staring in shock and fright off in space. She was sucked into her own protective bubble, her body trying to shield her soul from what was happening, but her mind was shutting down. She could barely breathe, her chest aching. But she couldn't move, no, couldn't move at all. She wanted to, deep in the back of her head, but she couldn't. She had no strength. Fear was in control now, not Zoey.

She barely noticed a paramedic kneeling down in front of her, taking her by the shoulders while trying to wake her from her terrified state. She couldn't be moved. Before she knew it, she was guided to stand up with the help of two other paramedics and led over to what it seemed like a bed. She didn't fight, she barely blinked her eye. She was laying down on the bed now and then was being strapped. Someone put a blanket over her and then stroked her cheek, trying to calm down her nerves and bring her back.

Soon enough, she was wheeled out of the house, still stuck in her own world. Her tongue felt too thick to talk, and she didn't even feel like moving. A tear fell from her eye though, wishing she could get out of this prison. And then, before she knew it, she was in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.

    Dennis Baker:
    [---Day 6(4/4)---December 26th---Location: Sophie's House(Dining Room)---> Hospital---Mood: Shock---Ooc: N/A]

Dennis continued to sit in his seat for quite some time. His body was motionless as his thoughts weren't really processing anything coherent. It was just a mad garble of his brain shouting at him to do different, contradicting , things and any sense he had was slowly being lost. The one thought that was prevalent through them all was just the single word question. Why? This came out of nowhere and as far he had figured, no one should've deserved this fate. Even worse, he started fearing that everyone was going to die. He was going to die. Dennis was terrified of this thought. He quite enjoyed living and the thought of everything just ending, turning black, being over. It scared him into complete and utter helplessness.

He noticed people coming in and out and around. One person who bared a striking resemblance to one of the four who died. Dennis started to think he might've been going insane and seeing double of everything. His mind must have just created a copy of the blond hair boy to help cope, to try and convince himself that the blond haired boy didn't die. Then he realized that the boy was actually real when the blue haired girl started clutching onto him and was sobbing. His fear started to blend with that of sorrow. Not only did these people suddenly die, they also weren't coming back. He'd never get to talk to these people and worse of all, none of their actual friends and family could talk to them again. Why?

One of the policemen walked over to him, obviously trying to gain an account of what happened. He said something to Dennis but Dennis didn't register a word of it. His mind was still couldn't really grasp what was going on and continually tried to reject reality. The policeman continued to try and get his attention and started pushing Dennis around so that he would actually speak. "...pened here?" Dennis mind started to focus back in on the scene to finally acknowledge the policeman's existence, only to have it immediately retreat again. The policeman eventually gave up, realising Dennis wasn't going to be physically able to do anything.

Before he knew it, Dennis was being dragged off, having a blanket draped over him,(because that is a clear sign someone is in shock,) and was put in an ambulance. He was escorted to the hospital and was put into testing. The doctors were trying to find if anything was wrong with anything about him. They flipped out when they noticed the bruise he got that morning and spent a good amount of time running through anything and everything until they came to the consensus that Dennis was alright, physically at least. Mentally he was just stuck in his own little reality, still trying to comprehend what he had seen.

When she and Sarah (who was still in the car) arrived, they saw Paramedics and police EVERYWHERE. "Just ****ing great..." she said, very irritated.

Sarah looked at the scene. "M-maybe we should go, Nat. I doubt anything vitally important that would affect us happened..." She was really worried. She knew about Natalie's insecurities. Natalie was always afraid to interact with most people. Why? Because of what happened at camp. She felt cursed, as if... Her friends would just drop dead instantly. It hopefully no one had died, but just being here made Sarah feel worried and sick. "C-come on Nat! Let's just go..." Sarah pleaded.

    DAY: 6 - 4/4 | DATE: December 26th, 2015 | LOCATION: Sophie's House (Kitchen) ==> Hospital

The morning started out pleasant enough. Enjoying the breakfast made by Sophie's butler, which was worlds better than the simple stuff Freddie had learned to make. Drinking coffee just the way he liked it. It seemed like a typical morning-after-a-party. At least, it seemed that way.

As Freddie ate his food, he heard a loud clank. He looked over to see someone with their face buried in their plate of food.
Was... Was he okay? Upon closer inspection, the guy with his face in the food wasn't breathing. What in the... Is... Is this dude dead? That's ridiculous. No way he could be dead right there. Nope. There was no way in hell. Absolutely not. Maybe he was just tired. Yeah, maybe he didn't get enough sleep last night and he couldn't stay up, so he fell asleep in his plate. That could happen, right? But he wasn't breathing. At least, not visibly. He wanted to check on him to make sure, but someone else got up to check on him before Freddie could.

However, a short while after the guy stood up to check, his face started to contort in agony. His breathing became more ragged until he eventually keeled over onto the floor.
Oh... Oh my god... What the fuck is going on here? Ok, that's not good. That's not good at all. This guy just fell over, and he's not breathing either. This can't be a coincidence. Were they really, truly dead? Just what the hell happened?

Moments later, a girl with brown hair started freaking out. She let out a scream and then shoved a knife into her own side.
What... What the hell? Why would she do that? What possible reason is there for doing that? What in the actual fuck was going on here? People were dying right in front of him and he had no idea. Everything was happening so fast, he had no idea if he should be panicking or if he should be afraid or what. It all just started happening, faster than he could fully process.

No. No no no no no no no no. There's no way in hell that this can just happen out of the blue. Something happened to them. Something must've happened to them that caused this whole debacle. There was no way that people would just coincidentally die at the same time. Especially teenagers like them.

"Did you poison us Sophie-- or Lucas? Are we all going to die now?!" Poisoned? Sophie? Or Lucas? Poison? No... No way. Sophie would never poison anybody. Not knowingly, anyway. She... There's no way she would. Lucas? Maybe... There was the possibility it was him. He didn't know him that well, after all. No. There's no way he would do it. He only does what Sophie tells him to. And Sophie would never tell him to poison some kids, right? There's no way, right!? Right!?

"Yes, because this was the perfect morning to have dead bodies in my dining room, Oliver." Sophie's comment was snide and filled with disdain. Of course she'd be mad too. I mean, she didn't have anything to do with this. No way. Inconceivable. Still... Something must have happened to them to cause all of this craziness.

Someone called 911. He didn't pay attention to who, but he was aware enough to know that someone called. And of course, because fate just decided to have this happen all at once, another one had what looked like a heart attack, same as the other two guys. This time a blonde kid.
Oh man... Oh man... Oh man! Freddie's heart started to race. This was really happening. Right in front of him. It may have taken a while to hit him, but it's finally caught up to him, and it hit him like a truck. Sophie was inspecting the bodies now. Like anybody else who just witnessed someone die would do. Not like some cold-blooded murderer enjoying the sight of their act. Definitely not. Nope nope nope.

"Goddammit" Sophie was getting angry. He didn't like seeing her in this state. Actually, he didn't particularly enjoy seeing anybody upset, but it especially hurt when it was Sophie. But... What could he do? What could he do in a situation where people just up and die, seemingly out of nowhere? It was no use. It was useless. Anything he could possibly attempt to do at this point was completely and utterly useless. He wanted to try to calm Sophie down, but that could cause her to lash out at him. He could try to crack a joke to lighten the mood, but that wasn't a viable option. It was too soon. He could try to calm everyone down and talk to them, but what could he say? He hadn't encountered a situation like this before.

"What's going..." Someone came in to the house. Whoa... Whoa, wait a minute... Isn't that the blonde kid? But... He looked to make sure, and sure enough, the blonde kid was still lying where he was. Deader than a rock. Is that... I mean... Are they twins? "... on?"

"I'll tell you what's going on," Sophie was rapidly rubbing her face with her hands "I have four fucking people dead in my dining room!" She just had to say it. Well, it's not like he didn't expect her to say it so bluntly, but still. Hearing it was still shocking. Some part of Freddie still wanted to deny that this was happening. That all of this was just a horrible dream and that he'd wake up in the bedroom Sophie took him to. Of course, he had been pinching himself the entire time to make sure that he wasn't dreaming. He already knew that this was really happening, like it or not.

The sound of approaching sirens interrupted his thought process. At long last, he stood up from his chair at the sound of the sirens. He looked at Sophie just as she looked at him. This was bad. He could tell that she has had it with this whole day. The cops and the medics came in after Lucas opened the door for them. Wait a minute. The thoughts became clearer as the cops came in.
Wait a sec... If these kids were really poisoned... Then... Logically... The only person who could've done it was the one... Who prepared everything. He didn't want to believe it. He couldn't believe it. Lucas... If anyone was suspicious, it was him. But... No... There's no way. Not a chance.

"Yes, this is my home. I'm open to all questions, please do something about this." It seemed like Sophie was calm, but he knew that she was hysterical. There was no way she could keep completely calm about this. After all, four people are dead in her dining room. He watched her carefully, just to make sure she was really okay.

Soon, they were brought to the living room by the cops. They were probably all going to be questioned. Lucas was questioned in the kitchen by himself. When he came back...
"Lucas..." Sophie's voice was trembling with rage. "Are you going to tell me what the hell happened in my dining room and why the fuck I have four goddamned people dead, and why the fuck these people think we poisoned them?" Sophie was practically going berserk on Lucas, slamming him into the wall and pinning him there. It was jarring, to see a girl like her pin someone heads taller than her to a wall. And it was especially odd for Freddie. He hadn't really seen her that angry before.

Lucas merely shook his head at her question, to which she responded by slapping him across the face. Freddie flinched when he saw the slap. It seemed painful, both visually and audibly. Lucas's maintained his usual, calm look.

"... You didn't give me time to reply." He readjusted his glasses and calmly continued, "I have no idea what happened to those four. There was absolutely nothing wrong with them all morning, and nothing wrong with them last night. No, I did not poison the food and drink because then all of us would be like them. I am being perfectly honest when I say I don't exactly know what happened." Normally, someone being perfectly calm about this would be alarming, but since that was how he normally was, it wasn't.

Sophie let him go and began to pace about. She was so flustered, it wasn't like her. He almost wanted to cry for her sake. Or maybe tell her that everything would be okay, even though he wasn't totally sure about it. And even then, if he did try to calm her down, she might lash out at him for it. Freddie had no idea what to do. His mind was in absolute chaos.

    "You should sit down, Ni-"

    "You should suck my f
ucking dick, Lucas. She was snapping. And even though she was clearly angry with Lucas, she still took his advice and sat down. Man... This is horrible. This crawling feeling... This hopelessness bloomed in Freddie. He didn't know if he could do anything to help her, or anyone for that matter.

One of the cops came and asked for Sophie to come with them. They were going to question her. How would she handle it? He didn't know that, now. Just... He couldn't do anything. Nothing he could think of could help out in this situation. Absolutely nothing. The things he did think about made him feel even worse. Trying to figure out the whole thing, he kept coming to the conclusion that Lucas must have had something to do with this. This led to even more distressing thoughts, such as the effects of the poison. When it would claim his life if he had been given it. If it would affect him differently and cause a different, yet equally painful death. He had to stop. It was horrible to even think about these things. Why he bothered, he didn't know. Maybe he was trying to think of something to help him through this. But nothing but those horrible, wretched thoughts came to mind.

His thoughts were interrupted by Sophie,
"Whatever you think I or... Lucas did, we didn't. I haven't the slightest idea what happened in there, and..." Sophie looked like she was ready to hurl, holding her hand to mouth. "I honestly didn't need this, not now. I..." She bit down on her lip, seemingly thinking of what to say next. "... am truly sorry this happened." She put her hand to her face, trying to calm herself. It was hard to watch her like this. Freddie could barely even look at her as she spoke. Her voice and the things she was saying was enough for him to know what was going on with her.

Later on, he was transported to a hospital. But not before the police asked him questions. He managed to give out some key details, such as his name and age and where he lived, but when they got to the questions about the dead kids... All he could really do was stammer. His laid back demeanor was just gone. Freddie tried to say that those kids all of a sudden started dropping like flies. He wanted to say that one of them just stabbed themselves for no good reason. He wanted to say that it just happened. But when he tried to speak to the police, all that managed to come out of his mouth was an incoherent babble. It was horrible. The shock of the situation rendered him unable to speak. Seeing that they couldn't get much out of him, he was sent to the hospital so that they could check his system for anything that could be poison.

This was pathetic, he couldn't even speak about what happened. Not even to the police. He couldn't. He just couldn't. It was so sudden, and so... traumatic, that he couldn't even process it properly. However, the worst part of it was seeing Sophie in that state. To see her so angry and frustrated. On top of that... His conclusions pointed to Lucas. And that was something he couldn't, or rather didn't want to believe.

He sat on a hospital bed as they checked his blood to make sure nothing toxic was in it. This was just horrible. He really hoped that they wouldn't find anything. That way, he would have some peace of mind. However, sleeping was the furthest thing from his mind as the doctors did what they did. He might not be able to sleep at all for a couple of nights.
    Sophie...

His vision having finally returned, Julius merely laid on the bed he was placed on and just stared up at the ceiling wondering what the hell happened and why exactly he was in the hospital in the first place. Fatigue was great and the desire for sleep was strong, but since Julius had only just awoken and the fact that he tried so hard to even awaken in the first place, sleep was something he couldn't just give himself.

Julius attempted to move, but pain enveloped his body and Julius merely winced as the pain took him "...d-damn...best not move too much now" Julius said as he closed both his eyes and let out a sigh. Just closing his eyes made him much more weary and if he didn't at least sit up or something he would fall asleep quickly. And so Julius began his adventure to sit up, but each time he would wince in pain and just lay back "Damn it! stop being a pansy" Julius said trying again to no success.

After deciding to take a break from all his hard work and having closed his eyes, Julius soon enough reopened them and raised an eyebrow when he heard the sound of rolling wheels heading his direction. With motivation he got from his curiosity, Julius managed to sit up from one mere try and noticed a person being rolled in and placed onto the bed that was next to his very own. He raised an eyebrow as he watched them place the girl now, but soon enough both eyes widened once he noticed just who was placed on the bed "Z-Zoey?! Oi Zoey! what the hell are you doing here?!" Julius said loudly.

Julius was honestly surprised to see the girl there and he wondered just what brought her there. Could it have been the party? was it something else? he didn't even know how long he was out so he was quite nervous by seeing Zoey being brought about in the hospital like that. He worried for the girl and hoped that she was alright and that nothing had gone wrong. A nagging feeling obviously told him that something was not right, but Julius tried his best to stay positive. If the party had something to do with this then Julius prayed to the gods that Noelle was safe and free of harm. For now he merely turned his attention over to the girl that was brought in, his once covered right eye had now been exposed due to the nurse having removed the eyepatch that covered his white eye.

The paramedics had done everything they could to calm down the frightened girl. She had a little medical wrist necklace hidden under her shirt, and they were able to get key information from her without her having to utter a word.

As soon as she got to the hospital, they took her blood and anything else they needed for tests. Now all they had to do was wait. She was changed into a hospital gown, was given another blanket to snuggle up in, but they took her eyepatch away. She panicked and screamed at first, covering her eye up, but then a nurse rushed to her side and eased her to calm down. She was going to be okay, they just needed it off for a little bit. Zoey cried softly, letting her head rest against the pillow as they hooked her up to an IV. After what it seemed like forever, they gave it back to her and slipped it over where it needed to be. She was then wheeled out of the examination room and into one of the patient rooms in ER. She closed her eye, whipping the tears from it with the hospital blanket. She was then stopped, and soon she was left alone... At least she thought so.

"Z-Zoey?! Oi Zoey! what the hell are you doing here?!"

She jumped when she heard the voice, opening her eye and looked to her left. Her eye widened, recognizing the face with the voice now. "M-Mr. Henon?" she stammered, confused with the sudden appearance of her teacher. "What... what are you doing here?" She sat up gradually in bed, hugging the sheets close to her as she just stared at her teacher for a moment. He seemed to be bandaged up, like he got caught in a fight or something. Was this why he wasn't at the party with everyone else? He was here the whole time? He had his eye covered up as if he was hiding it from here. But then again, she noticed that the eyepatch was gone. It comforted her to see a familiar face, someone she looked up to, but at the same time disturbed her.

Suddenly the images of this morning flashed through her mind and she winced at the memory of it all She hugged herself tighter, nearly crying all over again. She swallowed hard as her body began to shake, but she felt like she had to tell someone.

"We were all having breakfast at S-Sophie's house.... E-Everything was normal, everything..." She let out a breath of air before she continued. "T-Then something w-went wrong. S-something bad. A-Alex, R-Richie, and a-another boy passed out." Tears were streaming down her face, her good eye wide open as she told the horrifying tale. "A girl, S-Seraphina... she screamed out. Then s-she, she stabbed herself." Zoey let out a quiet sob, holding her head with her hands.

"It was so terrifying! This only suppose to happen in a horror film!" she yelled, not even realizing her voice was raised. "S-Someone said we were poisoned... But Alex... Not Alex." The last words came out in a whisper. She would never be able to tell him she liked him. She would never see his smiling face again. An ache swelled inside her chest and then constricted her throat. She nearly doubled over, covering her face with her hands. Her shoulders began to shake, this pain was just too real. She began crying, not caring who was in the room. "H-He can't be dead," she sniffed, taking in shaky breaths. "No... Why... Why... WHY! WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE HIM?! WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE THEM?! Why not... why not me?!" The tears fell on the hospital sheets like a sad rain, and she couldn't help it. Her heart was bleeding new wounds. This was going to scar her for life as well as everyone else that lived through this ordeal. And to think that bad luck would stop happening to her after... After That One Scary Moment happened. No, she couldn't be more wrong. "Why not me..."

What he heard from the girl only suggested his suspicions, but he did not imagine that it would have gone and ended in such a terrible way. Hearing that some of his students died nearly crushed Julius, but he wasn't there to witness it like Zoey and so he couldn't feel the exact pain she was going through at the moment. The news was painful to hear, but to hear it from such a young girl was truly affected the man. He could only close both eyes and listen to her words carefully as she spoke and gather as much as he could from her words.

He did not wish to question her any further, but since he didn't heard Noelle name being said he felt a small tinge of relief for a mere second. That relief merely faded instantly once he noticed the crying form of Zoey lamenting about what happened and how she wished she took their place. At the moment Julius did not care for the cause of the deaths, nor did he truly care for how they died. All he knew was that somebody had died and that there was somebody who was grieving. The answers he desired would soon reach him eventually and in this state he couldn't even find them if he truly wanted to.

With out a word Julius merely lowered his legs from the bed and slipped his feet into the slippers that were brought for him. The pain was great and though he winced, Julius did something he knew would bite him in the ass later on. Gathering up as much strength as he could Julius ignored all the pain that occurred and rose to his feet. Though the hardest task, Julius did something he really shouldn't have been doing and began to walk. Each step truly pained him, but luckily his destination was merely a few steps away. With the final step Julius sat down on the side of Zoey's bed and instantly wrapped his arm around her arms and drew her close to him "shhhhhh....calm down" Julius said before using his other hand to stroke the top of her head.

He wished to tell her that everything was alright, but sadly it wasn't. Four people died right before her very eyes and to say that would be nothing but pure ignorance. All he could do at the moment was comfort the girl to the best of his abilities and thought it wasn't his forte, he would try regardless. "Don't say stuff like that...don't say you should die..." Julius said softly resting her head on his chest "None of you deserve to die...if you died then just think of all the people that would grieve for you and feel the exact pain you are feeling right now" Julius said before he looked down at her with both eyes and tightened his grip on her slightly "So now I want you to cry...just let it all out...now is the time for tears..." Julius said softly before closing his eyes.
