    >Location: Cabin A >Mood: Thoughtful >OCC: This is off to a bad start...
Adrian never actually went inside the Dining Hall. He just circled around, and made it back to Cabin A. Before he entered, he threw his hoddie up. It was still a little warm out, yet Adrian didn't care. He opened the door to see that one of the campers were there. It was a boy with brown haired, lighted-eyed teen talking to a counselor in an eyepatch, which looked cliche, yet pretty odd as well. There may have been others inside, but Adrian didn't pay attention. All he wanted to do was think.
He walked past the two as he went to his bunk and immeadiately started to unpack. He was starting to wonder if coming here was the best choice. Adrian told himself that he would play the dead hand, as he usually does, but one look at that..that girl from Cabin B made Adrian's dead hand flow with all the life it can get. Who was she? Adrian somehow knew the girl but he couldn't remember. It was like a tough piece of food stuck down one's throat. And yet, with Adrian's good memory of things, he didn't have a shread of fact as to where he'd known the girl. As Adrian folded clothes into seperate drawers, he relived his past loves.
Remembering Jessi was like letting a disease bite at his very body, eating and tearing him from the inside out, whereas Meridith's breakup was like a gunshot wound to the heart that put him out for 5 days. It was eve a wonder that Adrian didn't die of a broken heart, and woke up refreshed and ready to go, just like any other day. Adrian was never the same again. Now, he couldn't care any less if he broke up with a girl, or if the girl broke up with him.
But all kidding aside, the girl had caught Adrian completely offguard, making him look like a slack-jawed neaderthal. For crying out, Adrian didn't know what to do! He sighed and threw himself on the bottom bunk, then grinds his teeth. One thing's for sure, if he truly liked this girl, he would need to listen to her and make her happy. If that wasn't the case, so be it. Adrian criss-crossed his hands behind his head, and closed his eyes under his hood. "God." he thought, "If this is the girl, that you showeth to me, is truly my love to be, please protect her from harm." Normally, Adrian wouldn't pray for something like this, but his motives were all over the place. He laid there for a little and listened to anything that his ears could pick up.

The way Sophie had treated the sticker had been something of a disappointment. And while it was nice to see someone who did not just bend to the flow it felt as if this one would cause trouble for her. Oh well, maybe it could be avoided. After all what she did not see or know about could easily be ignored... As long as no one else found out. Still, what a pain it will be to know this one's name. Oh, speaking of, seemed like she also saw through Sam's reasoning for it. How sharp. Or maybe it was just a joke.

But then there was the dramatic sigh which brought her attention away from all that. "I'll give them back sometimes, so long as no one else knows." This bit was going to be kept to herself in case either was a tatter tale but neither seemed the type. Or so she hoped.

A moment of silence was then made by the blond as the other two had a quick exchange. Oh nice for them to already know each other. Even better if they were on good terms, since fighting in her cabin would be such a bother. But anyway. The topic of dinner returned.

After skipping dinner last night and missing breakfast Sam had no intention of staying here to wait for everyone else. However she did leave a note just in case, even mentioning where the mess hall could be located. "We'll go now and the others can just catch up." The whole cabin should probably go together but she was already messing up everything today so why not? So with that decided the ziplock bag was placed on the nearest wooden surface, a small dresser type table next to her bed, and she went to open the door. It was held open behind her for the others to pass before she went on her way.

They came far faster than he expected and upon being spoken to Julius opened his eye lazily and stared up at the one that introduced himself as Allen. This guy seemed to be an okay guy but he was sure to not judge a person from their first meeting. Before he could say anything else another named Alex entered the room. From what he was informed there was to be four of them...but only two had shown up before him.

Closing his eye with a sigh, Julius reopened his eye lazily and stared back at the two of the newcomers "Names Julius..blah blah blah I'm your counsellor blah blah blah counsellor stuff blah blah blah camp stuff blah blah blah lets get along" Julius said as he rose to his feet and stretched "Well since you two are the first two here I guess you get dibs on stuff first" Julius said lazily.

While awaiting a reply another boy had entered the reply. Seemingly shy, this one. That made a smile grow on Allen's face though it was made into a welcoming one. "Hey there, Alex. I'm Allen." Saying his name twice in a row was rather annoying, but day one was always friendly day. However it would not be repeated another time so the third person to enter was out of luck, if they even cared.

And that very well may be the case for the next one to enter did not even greet those already there. How rude. Did he think he was above them? His canvas was probably still blank like that! It really bothered Allen and the urge to go up behind the other and wrap his arms around their neck had appeared. Though naturally he did not act on it. Instead he would put off getting at that one later, though in the meantime his existence would be ignored as he was.

Though before what exactly he wanted to do to him had yet to form when Mr. Eyepatch began speaking once more. So this one was not happy to be here. That seemed like things would be easier for them but having another plain canvas around... Well, anyone who has lost an eye surely had something happen to them, so it was too early to say that. "Well I've claimed my bed. What else is there to get dibs on?"

Aislin had zoned out after Kevin had spoken. She had been eating a marshmallow she had caught from them being thrown. When she got her cabin assignment she had accidentally walked the long way to Cabin A. When she got inside she waved her hands in an apology and claimed a bed before turning to the others in the cabin, "Sorry I am a little late. My name is Aislin~" she announced happily and she walked over to the rest of the group with her hands in her pockets.

"Electronics?" Shouta said to the guy holding the box. His iPhone... There goes his music. "Why do you need our stuff?" Shouta was really reluctant to give up his precious music. After all, he was just about to start making tabs for Henai no Rondo after dinner. He pulled out his iPhone from his back jeans pocket and reluctantly plunked it into the box, homemade black case facing up. "You better not screw with that thing. Especially the case. It took me DAYS to finish that masterpiece.

After that, Shouta grabbed his bass guitar, climbing up to the top bunk. Unzipping the case, he took out his baby. "No one touches her, or I'll kill you. Got it?" Then he turned his back and began trying to figure out the bass part for Henai no Rondo from memory.

It was harder than he expected, since he hasn't exactly memorized the melody yet. Huffing, he gave up and returned his bass into the corner. Shouta climbed up to they'll bunk, flopping onto his back, one leg up on one knee. He put his arm under his head as a pillow, waiting for dinner. Taking off his goggles, he absently twirled the strap around his finger. His stomach growled. Shouta wondered what was for dinner today.

Location:Cabin E<>Clothes<>Song<>Mood:<>OOC: For those curious, Alice Requiem will debut at dinner.

Sebastian listlessly tossed his own iPhone into the bin provided. In all regards, it had recently turned into a very expensive clock with capabilities as a music player and mini-computer; no one had messaged him or called for months now. He watched Shouta grab what must of been his bass guitar, climbing up to the top bunk he'd picked. Unzipping the case, he took out his instrument. "No one touches her, or I'll kill you. Got it?" 'Really? I understand the devotion to a favored instrument, but are threats suitable for first impressions?' Sebastian thought to himself. This thought was clouded, however, because he continued to watch Elisa every now and again to see what she was doing, sizing her up.

He perceived she was incredibly light-framed, much like himself, except Sebastian had a bit more muscle on him. This was an added bonus to him. Talking to her though would prove to be impossible at this point though... maybe at dinner? Well, he'd think about it. Just from his appearance alone, he worried without word that he would be rejected for his being slender. That was always funny to him: girls who could blow away with a strong sudden burst of wind rejecting him for him being light. It was slightly understandable, of course, since it'd always been the case during his lifetime that it was "socially acceptable and/or preferred" for a guy to be big and girl to be tiny.

'Screw it.' Sebastian curtly affirmed to himself. He'd had his heart broken too many times to fall for another girl who was considered "out of his league", even though he worked his ass on(As he had previously not had one suitable enough to work off) and was, in fact, possessed a pleasant face, even if he rarely smiled.

    >OOC: A little better..

Toni walked back to Cabin C alone. She felt bad for Adrian. He had been through too much in so little of a time. But then again, it wasn't really her fault, as she wasn't the one who dumped him. It's just that Adrian was forced to cope on his own that made her guilty. Toni tried to make him feel better during Jessi's death and Meridith's break up, but in the end, he never felt any better. She sighed as she walked inside Cabin C. Most of the campers were already there. She saw a blond woman, about 20, surveying the cabin, a blue-eyed 16 year old redhead on her bed and resting. She went over to her bed and started to unpack, and drew a small piano keyboard. Adrian and Toni both had the talent to play the piano, but Toni usually prefered an organ. She played two keys, and her mind started to wander. The boy with the brown hair for example, he made her pulse jump and her palms sweaty. It made her impulsive just thinking about it, not to mention slightly embarrasing. She looked to the redhead and asked, "What are you here for?"

Adrian snickered slightly as Julius introduced himself. It was obvious that Julius didn't really care about them, Adrian didn't think, and if he did, he does a poor job of showing it. But then again, first appearences aren't everything, especially at a camp like this. He might as well introduce himself for that matter. Adrian felt a glare on his back coming from that guy...Allen was it? Adrian stood up, and said, "My name is Adrian. If it makes any of you feel any better Julius, you don't need to worry about me. Besides, your just doing this for your five dollar check..am I right?"

Adrian began to walk across the room with his hands behind his back, as he went on, "Anything, if anything that a counselor should know, it's responsiblity. But I'm not one to judge. All I'm saying right now is that I'm tired, and even if you get mad at me, then don't. I am completely unfazed by any type of anger or hatred, courtesy training of my sister in Cabin C, Tonitrui. And just so you know, I'm not exactly impressed by the 'apathetic' act of yours." He was now talking directly to Julius, "But hey, my intrests and opinions change. So, yeah." Adrian sat back on his bed. The only thing visible under his hood was a slight smirk expectant on what Julius or the others would do.

Alexandra quietly entered Cabin C, and waited there. She didn't want to accidentally claim somebody's bed or space and have a fight on her hands already. She noticed that there was one last bed with no name on it (the others had tape with names), so Alexandra looked for anything to write with, and carefully wrote "Alexandra" in cursive, then put it on the last bed. She put her bags and everything on the bed, deciding to unpack later and eat now. Dinner was coming up soon, and the trip here had made her hungry. Alexandra turned and gave the cabin one last look before heading out the door. This would be home for the next few weeks. She smiled and continued to the mess hall, a bit eager to see who she could meet there and talk to. "Here we go..." she told herself.

And so the final camper in his group arrived and Julius couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm. Now that they were all here he really needed to do his counsellor stuff that he had been putting off for quite the while. Before he could say anything more the voice of Adrian reached his ear and the man merely raised an eyebrow as the teen spoke. Everything the teen spoke...was so utterly ridiculous. 5 dollar check? he was tricked into joining the camp, a counsellor should know responsibility? pfft that was common knowledge, and the cool unemotional act was definitely not helping the case what so ever.

When the boy finished Julius suddenly began to snicker and then suddenly this soon gradually evolved into a loud hearty laughter. "Oh gods you crack me up....that was so...pfftt" Julius said as his laughter grew even more "oh gods this is so bad...may the counsellor gods smite me for laughing" Julius said as he let out a loud sigh and wiped a tear away from his eye "oh my I am really looking forward to you kiddos now" Julius said with a smile "The stranger the better. Nothing bad about being strange, it just makes life a whole lot more fun...take it from me" Julius said pointing his thumb at himself and then clenched his fist

"Now rejoice! you have been sent to the badass cabin that is cabin A! Now lets have some fun" Julius said grin. The laughter surely helped him ignite his enthusiasm and though he forgot for a moment that it was a musical archery death camp he looked forward to the summer. "Dinner will be soon...first act as a counsellor is to confiscate you electronics, I know its a pain in the ass but I'll see if I can get around it later on" Julius said

Aislin was finished introducing herself when she heard an introduction from a boy named Adrian. For a moment the introduction seemed kind up until, "Besides, your just doing this for your five dollar check..am I right?"

Aislin's eyes widened at this interaction and then she continued to listen to him. She didn't feel offended at all, but she didn't know how the testosterone filled males around her were going to react. She kindly stepped over to Adrian and spoke, "You just met them hun. You probably are not looking for friends, but even if you aren't, being unfazed by anger is not going to help the atmosphere of the cabin out. Don't throw pinecones in the fire." Aislin stepped forward and whispered hoping only Adrian would hear it, "You'll get bored with fists thrown at ya."

She stepped back and looked over at the rest of the group and smiled, "Um... how about we try and change up the subject. There's that scavenger hunt tonight. Or... we could... um..." Aislin stood there thinking on something to change the topic to, her hands on her chin as she tapped her foot. Trying to figure something out quick before everyone broke into swears at each other. She also had no idea how authoritarian the counsler... Julius? Would be.

She listened to Julius and stopped thinking about topic changers. He seemed to have everything under control, and seemed to have an interesting sense of humor. Just don't keep me up at night with this "badass" buisness.

MOODCHEERFUL / THOUGHTFUL ❤??NOTHINGOOCDON'T HAVE MUCH TIME.

While Bryan sketched his campers from his desk, he wondered how Noëlle was doing with her cabin. He wasn't too worried about her since she was a little social butterfly, and it was hard to not like her outgoing personality. She'd be fine -- and they would see each other soon.

Doing a little shading here and there, Bryan wondered if she had heard about that thing, that . . . 'love potion'. What was it called again? Something having to do with Eros. No, no, not Eros. Uh. Cupid! Right, Cupid. Cupid's brew, that's what it was called. It sounded kind of neat, but it definitely wasn't anything that he was interested in. A love potion? Why use something like that when you could really get a person to fall in love with you for who you were?

He glanced over at a Elisa as he did her eyes.

After putting down his graphite pencil and cleaning his hands from the charcoal smudges, Bryan stood from his chair. "Alright guys, we should head out to the dining hall, it's almost 5:30, and I've got a clean record. Can't be messing it up by being late!" His stomach growled, and he laughed with a little bit of embarrassment, "Err, yeah, let's get going."

Bryan walked out of the cabin, taking in the warm sun and waited a moment for the others to follow before continuing through the grounds.

Shouta jumped down from the top bunk, landing nimbly on the ground. Seeing that a lace was loose, he crouched down to retie it. Yes. Combat boots are a pain, but that's the price to pay for style. He quickly knotted the lace and got back up. Grabbing his hooded vest, he slipped it on.

"Dinner time~~" He was starving. He had woken up really early for the plane. A flight from Tokyo to Camp. Shouta skipped breakfast, being in a total rush and he only had a cup ramen for lunch. Not enough for Shouta.

One of the boys opened the door and Shouta followed him out.

"By the way... I haven't gotten your names." Shouta said to his cabinmates. They seemed like nice people, so he decided that he would try his best to take down the walls and open up to them. He should do that at the very least, since he would be rooming with them for the whole summer.

Shouta stuffed his hands into his pockets, quietly singing Henai no Rondo while he walked with his (hopefully) new friends to the cafeteria.

It was always fun to see if a reaction would be a squeamish one, but Noëlle rubbed at her eye and Sophie deducted the reaction quietly. She smiled.

"Yes, I did. It's always nice to see Bryan." she replied.

Sophie smiled more. I bet it is.

"I'll give them back sometimes, so long as no one else knows." Oh, neat. She wouldn't have to be a bad little camper. Only Sammy would have to be a bad little camp counselor. Ahaha. Better her than Sophie. Of course, she wasn't one to be a tattletale, so she'd keep it to herself. "We'll go now and the others can just catch up." Of course they can.

As the group walked, Sophie hummed to herself, thinking of all the things she could say to the others. How many stories and ties could she weave this year? It was always a challenge. Not like her first year at camp though, all those years ago. A meek little Sophie, used by the older kids as a scapegoat. They had all certainly regretted that the next year, hadn't they?

    Ahaha.

They entered the dining hall and Sophie found a seat, waiting for food call.

Erik gathered up the electronics from the campers that were already present. The fourth one had still yet to show up. He groaned in annoyance and closed the lid on the container, shoving it inside a cupboard which was then locked up afterwards. He slipped the lanyard into his back pocket that linked all of his keys together. Hunger didn't bother him--he wasn't all that hungry in the first place--, but being kept waiting did. It was just about time for the doors of the mess hall to open up and there was no sign of their last cabin mate. The first dinner of camp was one of the more important ones. They always had a lot of information to share with the campers, along with their activity schedules and the overall bonding excersizes.

He walked out of the cabin and stood at the bottom of the steps with one fist on his hip and his other hand shielding his eyes from the sun. The temperature had gone down somewhat, which he was thankful for. This way the campers wouldn't be complaining all night long about being uncomfortably hot with no air conditioning. Kids these days were so spoiled. His family never had air conditioning when he was growing up.

No one seemed to be headed in the direction of his cabin. He didn't want to leave anyone behind and head to dinner without him. The kid wouldn't know who to sit with if that happened, but he also didn't want to be late. Erik wasn't one of those counselors that was late for everything. With a frustrated groan and his fingers running through his thick brown hair, he turned back to the door and marched up the steps.

The screen door swung open and slammed closed as he walked back inside, not taking care to having it shut gently. He narrowed his eyes at Sean before giving a warm smile to Emalynn and Jenna. "All right. We're heading to dinner after all. We all have to sit together, so lets make sure there's an open seat for the other boy that will be in our group. Come on." He waved his hand for them to follow after him and Erik turned back towards the door, leaving the cabin. Hopefully the kid would see them leaving before they got too far. He began to march in the direction of the mess hall.

    "Hey there, Alex. I'm Allen."
Good, he introduced himself to him. That saved him some trouble. "Nice to meet you." He replied. That took care of two introductions, that only left the rest of his cabin mates. Hopefully the rest of them would go quicker. As the next person walked in, he looked towards the direction he heard the voice and saw who it was.
"Sorry I am a little late. My name is Aislin~"
Well, he certainly wasn't expecting to have a girl as a roommate. Weird, oh well. He wasn't in charge of this kind of thing so it wasn't his place to judge. All he could do was to greet her, though the voice inside his head had something to say before he could do that.
Good, now you have a chance to talk to a girl.
This time he was having mixed feelings about what his voice had said. While it was true he had little experience when it cam to talking to girls, a different part of him wanted to do it his own way. Alex just shrugged these thought out of his head before greeting her. "Hello Aislin. I-I'm Alex." Great, he chose now to stutter his words. Hopefully it wouldn't be too much of a problem. That made three people down, all that was left was one more.
"My name is Adrian. If it makes any of you feel any better Julius, you don't need to worry about me. Besides, your just doing this for your five dollar check..am I right?"
Apparently the last camper was inside with them, he just never noticed him. From a first glance and by how he was acting, this was going to be a very interesting cabin experience for him. As he sat down on the bunk of his choosing, he listen to Julius's response to Adrian. For the most part he took it well, pretty much taking it like a joke. It didn't bother him much, it just meant that there wouldn't be any later problems. At least that's what he hope.
We're the badass cabin. Well, it's certainly something. Alex didn't pay it too much attention anyway, as long as it didn't mean anything later. But with a Consoler with an eye patch almost anything was possible.

After collecting all of the electronics, Erik stepped out of the cabin. Emalynn took this time to take another look around the room. Jenna had made her way over to one of the windows and was gazing outside at the scenery. The younger girl had a wide smile on her face, as if she had received a new toy or doll. Emalynn couldn't help but smile. It was cute.

Then Emalynn looked in the other direction where Sean was now sitting on his bunk. From where she was observing, only his back could be seen. But even then, it looked he was sulking. Her smile changed into a smirk. So he was all talk, huh?

She looked back at Jenna who had finished looking outside the window and was now sitting next to Emalynn. Jenna opened her mouth to say something, but before she could, Erik walked back into the room. He looked over at Sean and then smiled at the two girls.

"All right. We're heading to dinner after all. We all have to sit together, so lets make sure there's an open seat for the other boy that will be in our group. Come on," Erik said, gesturing for them to follow. Emalynn stood up, as did Jenna and they followed Erik out of the cabin.

It's about time. Where could the other kid even be? Lost? Ha. Navigating around the camp was not difficult. There were clear trails, and on each trail there were signs with arrows. Even while thinking, Emalynn kept her small smile on her face. She was not going to let some tardy cabin-mate ruin her summer. Emalynn continued to follower her counsellor towards the mess hall.

A small laugh came from his only girl trooper. As he whipped his head towards her with raised eyebrows and a smile, she placed her hands over her mouth and her face became very flushed. He let out a small laugh himself and gave her a more relaxed smile. U-um, hi.He nodded at her, feeling some anxiety in her tone. She seemed very nervous and as he looked at her flushed expression and shy stance, that seemed to be the case. He leaned back on the wall behind him with his hands crossed over his chest while crossing his foot over his other one by the ankle, his gaze stayed on Pierce for a moment as he said to her in a genuine tone and a smile "This better be just first-day jitters, alright Pierce? You have no reason to feel uncomfortable around any of us. This is going to be your home, so get cozy! If anything or anyone is causing you trouble or concerns, report to your Super Trooper! I'm here to help out in any way you need me." He shut his eyes and grinned brightly after his last word, raising a hand up to give her a thumbs up. He then turned to face them as a group again and realized the two boys staring at him intently, "That goes for you two as well, of course! I've got your backs throughout this whole adventure, dont' worry."
"Do I give you my electronics? How did you know our names?"
Tucker jumped out of his relaxed stance, gasping. "You're right! Oh god, I practically forgot! Thanks for reminding me! Man, I'm probably giving the worst impression to you guys." he sighed out, shaking his head and laughing at himself a bit. Nonetheless, he jogged past the three to his bed, which was separate from the four other beds in the cabin that belonged to the students, and crouched to grab something from under it. He pulled out a small box - one that would probably be seen from fishing homes, looking all nature-y and organic. Before pulling the lid off from it, he decided to address Quentin's second question, "Well, I hope you didn't exactly find that creepy... because then that's another bad impression from me. Wow, this has got to be my worst camp start off in my end, but um, come on! I see you guys in school. Once us counselors got our list of troopers, I decided to come ready and know at least the faces to match your names so... I asked around. I hope you don't mind! Didn't look into anything else but names and faces just in case you were wondering." He added the last bit quickly, hoping not to scare of his troopers. He began to feel a little nervous about his first impressions to them, hoping they'd realize he had good and genuine intentions at heart but still, he started his next lines with a shaky tone, "I-I'm going to have to take your technological equipment now so please hand them over and place them into this box. You don't have to worry, I'm going to keep them safe - if something ever happens to them, which I swear will not, then you have my permission to kill me." he decided to laugh his last few words off, to lighten up everyone's moods. He then opened the lid and watched as each student approached him and placed a gadget inside, smiling at each of them as they did. He closed the lid once all the devices were sacrificed, then he hunched over a bit and said to them in a whisper, "You guys can ask it from me at night, just don't tell anyone and make sure these little guys never escape the cabin." With a wink, he stood up straight then put the box into his luggage and slid it under his bed.
He looked down at his watch as he stood up properly from croushing, it was just a couple minutes until 5:30PM - which meant dinner time! He knew his troopers were hungry from the long bus ride, but he also knew they were still missing the last female trooper Stratana. Before he could dive into thought on where she could have been, the red haired trooper approached him asking, "More importantly...when can I get my hands on that grand piano?"
The super trooper chuckled a bit at his question, not to offend but out of delight. "Already excited to get back into music? That's what I'm talking about! There's a building in camp for that, but you have to go there and sign up to reserve for it beforehand. If you don't know where it is, I can go with you there when there's free time, maybe after the hunt. But first, we should be headed for the dining hall, it's almost 5:30 and I can imagine you guys are pretty hungry from that bus ride and the intense heat. Our squad isn't complete yet and we're still missing out last trooper but we should go ahead and I'm sure she'll catch up with us over there."
He cleared his throat, and walked over to the door frame, swinging the door open for all of them to pass in front of him. "Alright, let's get moving troopers!" he said excitedly. Once all his troopers exited the front door, he shut it then leaped past the stairs of the cabin. He stayed by the group, next to Pierce, still hoping she would warm up to the group more. He looked at all of his troopers and smiled to each of them as they finally started making their way to the dining hall ahead, still wondering about Stratana's, this missing trooper, whereabouts at the back of his mind.

Right when she entered, her counselor - as she now knew as Bryan - greeted her with a cheerful tone and voiced out the original joke in her head. It wasn't funny, no, but she did find it amusing that he said what was in her head moments ago so she gave him a polite giggle and a smile as a response. Just then, a boy entered the room, after introducing himself he stripped off of his shirt and changed into a new one which cause Elisa to immediately look away from him out of reflex action.
"We'll be heading out for dinner soon, but before that, I'm gonna need you guys to fork over all your electronics. I know, the horrooooor, I hated it, too. But you'll be fine without them for the day."

Elisa looked over at her counselor and sighed slightly, reaching into her bag for her iPod. As she reached down into it, she could see her white appetite/anti-fainting pills and sleeping pills (both kept in its original, yellow container and some transfered into zip locks), doodle notebooks and that small bottle filled with red liquid which she purchased before camp. It was called Cupid's Brew. She bought one from the internet - her home - but without any intention of really using it. Sure, she bought it to use eventually but really, she didn't like anyone romantically from her school. She would rather use it on someone she's met over the internet, but she brought it in case anyway. Standing up, with her iPod in her hand, she walked over to Bryan with a smile and placed it inside with not much of another word. She sat back down at her bed.
"No one touches her, or I'll kill you. Got it?"

Came from the Shou guy. She just stared at him for a moment, he seemed really edge-y and tough and stuff. She glanced away from him with that impression in mind. Maybe she would keep her distance from this cabin mate of hers since his attitude was kind of aggressive but she half shrugged it off because she would probably kill anyone who came close to her computer.
She looked over at the other two in her room while remaining quiet, Sebastian she knew from school. Never really talked to the guy but he seemed okay. She wasn't getting any impression off from him at the moment with his silence, but she guessed it was better than having a bad impression of him. Bryan seemed to be busy drawing something. He drew too? Well, Elisa herself only doodled and made accessories like the bracelets on her wrists but still, it was nice to see art in their cabin. As she watched him, trying to get a look at what exactly he was doing but failing due to her distance from him, he suddenly stood up.
"Alright guys, we should head out to the dining hall, it's almost 5:30, and I've got a clean record. Can't be messing it up by being late!"
Elisa stood up obediently but kept her silence. she crouched down to grab some things from her bag, mostly her 1.5L water bottle which she planned on refilling and both her appetite and sleeping pills which she discreetly slipped into her short's pockets. She had no plan of eating but she knew she had to go with the group anyway. She then followed her counselor out of the door and looked around. Other campers had started making their way to the dining hall too. She also noticed the heat being a lot better than earlier so she reached up to pull out the band that kept her hair in a bun, then let her pastel locks fall to her back and the sides of her face. She wore her hair down most of the time, so now she felt more comfortable as she walked down to the dining hall with her group.

"By the way... I haven't gotten your names."

Oh right, Shou had entered after she did. He probably wasn't able to point out who was who when Bryan introduced him to everyone, so she turned her head to him slightly with a smile, "You can call me Elisa."

We'll go now and the others can just catch up.

Excellent! Though, she couldn't help but wonder who the fourth person in their group even was to have not shown up yet. Her disappointment was rising. Bryan wasn't her counselor, Sam was sort of lazy seeming -- and had ignored her, and the fourth member of their group was late. Even so, it wasn't the time to mope around! She had to keep her energy up, just in case the scavenger hunt was tonight.

Before they could all get out of the door, someone else entered. That was nice. It was a girl with dark hair, and brown eyes with an amber tinge. Very pretty, and vaguely familiar. She quietly claimed her bed and pulled out a keyboard, playing a couple of notes. Noëlle pressed her lips together and diverted her attention, standing up in a stretch.

    What are you here for?

Unsure of what exactly to say in response, or what was meant, she ran a hand through her thick, curly hair in thought.

Well, she started tentatively. if you mean at camp, it's always nice to have something to do during the summer. If you mean Fortissimo, I sing and play the harp, along with the guitar--though I prefer to play my ukulele instead of lugging that thing around, haha.

She was just about to inquire the same of her, when someone new sporting electric blue hair came in -- and then left. Ah. Well, then. A bit rude not to even say hello, but... At least all four of them had shown up now.

    We should get going.

Humming along, Noëlle left the cabin with everyone else. The air was slightly cooler now, with a mild breeze rolling over the camp. It was nice. As they walked, she absently wondered if the girl from earlier--who she would call 'Electric Blue' until she knew her name for sure--had that hair color naturally. Noëlle's own pale strawberry locks were chemically achieved. Her natural hair was a sandy brown, like Bryan's, but she never thought it suited her turquoise eyes. Maybe strawberry-milk-pink was a bit too out there to some people, but she enjoyed it. It was eccentric.

As she walked, she could swear she heard some kind of shouting but...hey, this was a camp. Nothing unusual about that, so she ignored it.

The dining hall was already filled with people. She was grateful for the assigned seating, for once. Finding the table with a 'Group C' stand in the center, Noëlle took a seat. Her eyes scanned the room and immediately caught sight of Jack, sitting awkwardly with Group H. Raising her right hand, she waved, but was unseen.

Kevin stood by a circular wooden stage, chatting away enthusiastically with another leader while someone she had never seen before set up a couple of speakers.

While she waited for the 'fun' to begin, she poured herself a glass of cold water. Moments later, music dripping with a heavy bass blasted out from the speakers, causing a few students to yelp in surprise and filling the dining hall with laughter. Kevin himself had flinched, but it had obviously just revved him up more. He jumped onto stage with a microphone and the lights dimmed, a spotlight pouring down onto him. Noëlle wondered if Kevin was an actor, or something. He seemed to really love the attention.

Heeeelloooooo campers! I hope you guys have been having a FUN time so far?!

The crowd replied with several variations of 'yes'. A few smart asses answered with 'no', earning a laugh from their friends.

Alright! Well, dinner will be out shortly. There's a little tradition we like to do here. When the food is brought out, I want you all to clap and cheer as LOUDLY as you can, to thank all of our hard working volunteers for the meal!

If you have any allergies to anything brought out to you, please inform someone immediately and we'll get you a substitute meal!

Before we eat, I've got a couple of updates for you folks. The Treasure Hunt will be happening tomorrow night.
A chorus of disappointed groans sounded and Kevin grinned.

I know, I know. But tonight we're going to kick off another special tradition. Instead of waiting for the last weeks like we usually do, we're starting Secret Time early!

For you newcomers, this is an activity done within your cabins between your group. Basically, you will all get together tonight and share one secret or new thing about yourself with your cabin members. Each night, you will share something new about yourself. It is a good idea to save anything 'big' for the last weeks, and to start off sharing something simple, but it's your choice.

This is a good way to get to know each other and form a BOND with your camp members and make new friends! You guys can talk about any topics that come up. The activity will be lead by your counselors! When you're done, you can head to bed and look forward to breakfast.

    Sound good?!

Not really, no. Secret Time was probably one of the worst things about this camp. Sure, she had made a couple of friends through it but there was always a divide between those who thought they were superior somehow by not sharing anything of importance (she hated these people), those who turned it into 'them' time by whining about this and that, and those who just seemed to cry about everything and make it awkward.

AWESOME! One more thing. This stage is free to anyone. When there's no one on it, feel free to play your instrument, sing or whatever you'd like. You have ten minutes each. Now, without further ado, we serve you dinner! Let's give these folks a HUGE round of applause!

Kevin stepped down from the stage, leaving his mic. The volunteers mentioned from earlier came out holding trays of food. It looked like spaghetti, bread and salad. Yum!

THERE'S a STIRRING INSIDE of ME.
After Pierce's chuckling outburst and then nervous embarrassment, Tucker turned his gaze on her and she felt her insides curl up. This better be just first-day jitters, alright Pierce? You have no reason to feel uncomfortable around any of us. This is going to be your home, so get cozy! If anything or anyone is causing you trouble or concerns, report to your Super Trooper! I'm here to help out in any way you need me. ❞ She felt her cheeks burning as she was now the center of his focus.
    O-okay... ❞ she stuttered awkwardly.
Pierce opened the drawer of the small dresser beside her bunk and started stuffing clothes messily inside. Her back was turned on the others as Tucker explained how he had already known their names. When he finally asked for their electronic devices, she turned back around and scooped up her phone and iPod from on her bed and handed them over to him. She watched him drop them inside a box and slide it under his bed when finished. Pierce pulled a pillow out of her duffle bag and set it at the head of the bed with the one provided by the camp. One pillow was never enough. That was something she learned her first year.

More importantly...when can I get my hands on that grand piano? ❞ Her head snapped up and brown eyes drifted over to the red-head named Sam. He played the piano too? Maybe there was potential to get to know some of the others.

When Pierce finally finished unpacking, she slid the black bag under the bottom bunk and sat down on top of the quilt. Sitting on the floor beside her bed was a stack of books. She would need something to do when things weren't all wild and crazy and she had too much free time for her own good.

Tucker went on about how it was almost time for dinner and she slid off the bed as he explained that they were still missing one girl. Oh good. I'm not the only girl. She breathed a sigh of relief and readjusted her hat in time to see Tucker heading towards the door. Alright, let's get moving troopers! ❞ he shouted enthusiastically. Would she ever get used to his energy level?

When they finally made it to the mess hall, she took a seat at the table labeled Cabin B. Pierce played with the fork absently until Kevin began to speak. ...we're starting Secret Time early! ❞ Oh no. She absolutely loathed Secret time, almost as much as the scavenger hunt. Secrets were something others were supposed to earn the right to know, but be allowed to hear just for bonding exercises.

The Treasure Hunt will be happening tomorrow night. ❞ Relief flooded her insides and she was able to breathe easier. She had one more day before the living nightmare began.

This stage is free to anyone. When there's no one on it, feel free to play your instrument, sing or whatever you'd like. You have ten minutes each. ❞ Pierce had never taken part in the dinner time entertainment. Usually it was only the Super Confident Camp Populars that went up there. Those were the ones that acted like they ran the place and would be the Lady GaGa or something. They always thought they were better than everyone else--maybe they were, since they were the only ones to do it.

When the spaghetti came out her stomach flipped and growled. The sweet smell of tomato sauce and garlic was invigorating. She hadn't realized how hungry she actually was until that moment. Pierce ate quickly, but not too quickly. When everyone else at her table was done as well and Tucker dismissed them from the mess hall, she made her way back to the cabin.

Pierce sat on her bunk bed. Her foot tapped against the quilt as anxiety began to build. She absolutely did not want to do Secret Time. Revealing intimate details about herself that weren't too intimate was always difficult. What was considered not secret enough and what was considered too private, always had a fine middle line. One wrong step and you were crossing it. She took her hat off the top of her head and set it on top of her book stack. The sunglasses from this afternoon rested on the mini dresser and her legs were tucked neatly under the skirt of her dress. The temperature had dropped significantly and she was now able to rest comfortably in the cabin. It was still hot, but not so hot anymore.
