Emalynn's stomach slammed against the table as the ferry lurched forward, practically knocking the wind out of her. She gasped for air and looked up at Jenna who nearly fell back off of her chair. What the hell! Before she could try to recover from the odd jerk of the boat, the whole boat started to tilt. No. No . No. No. Jenna grabbed onto the table to stop herself from sliding down with her chair. Emalynn did her best to stop herself from ramming into the table a second time.

It took a bit of time for Emalynn to completely comprehend what was going on. The ship was sinking. It was going to flip. They could all die. They had to get out. Now. First the fire. Now this!? The door leading to the deck was too far away. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. Emalynn looked around. There was already a group that had broken a window not too far away. "Jenna let's go!" she instructed. Carefully, but quickly, she began making herself over. But it was too late. The boat flipped and tossed Emalynn causing her to fall hard on her back. She winced in pain, but got up. Water was filling up from where the hole in the glass was made. She still had a chance to get out! Emalynn tried swimming to the glass and then did her best to swim through the hole in the glass. Jenna followed behind. Emalynn held her breath and swam away from the sinking ship.

She poked her head out of the water once she reached the surface and gasped for air. Jenna had done so too

ooc: so much for a relaxing journey... :c

[/url]"I live near Red Bank. I can walk there if I have the energy."

Richie smiled brightly at Elisa as she uttered those sweet words. That was such great news! Maybe they could hang out regularly then! Oh that'd be so much fun! The cheerful boy could see it now: them going to Red Bank's famous downtown area and eating at his favorite eatery, Funk & Standard. The very thought of it made Richie giddy with excitement!

Richie's mood changed drastically as the ferry jerked forward, causing him to fly into the table and fall to the floor in pain. He clutched his stomach as he attempted to stand up and look around. The faint sound of splashing could be heard and Richie began to feel his feet slipping. He started shaking at the sounds of the screams as he grabbed onto the stand of the table and pulled himself up. He looked up to Elisa, who seemed to be frozen at the whole situation, with disheartened eyes and felt his fingers slipping. Was... he going to die?

Using all the adrenaline in his body, Richie somehow managed to actually pull himself up. But this wasn't over yet. He quickly scanned the area, and spotted the windows in front of him. Thank goodness he picked a seat by them. The ferry was at such an angle that Richie could sit on the stand without falling, but it still wasn't completely vertical. Taking a deep breath, he grabbed one of the empty chairs and began bashing the window furiously with it.

Richie was starting to get tired. Maybe he was actually going to die today. He felt tempted to give up and just accept death, until he noticed Bryan next to him pounding at the window. It was... insane how he managed to break the glass. He tried to make it over... but he just couldn't. Tears began streaming down his face as the ferry finally tipped over. Richie was flung onto the ceiling.

The main floor was filling up with water. Fast. Richie inspected the area once again. Again he noticed the windows and the water pouring out of them. Desperately, he swam to it. This pressure was intense. He waited for the dining area to fill up with water. Taking the biggest breath of his life, Richie plunged into the water and forced himself out the window with the help of the table stand. He bent down, pushed off the stand, and swam through the window with the helping force. Once out from under the boat, Richie quickly swam up to the surface. It was a lot further away than he thought, and he was starting to fell lightheaded. But at last, he made it. He gasped for air and, with the last of his stamina, began swimming away from the sinking ferry.

As Julius slept on he soon awoke by the sudden jerk of the boat and immediately rose to his feet "WHAT IN C'S NAME IS ****ING GOING ON?!" Julius yelled as he glanced around before nearly tumbling over. Grabbing onto one of the rails as tight as he could, Julius held on for his dear life as the boat began to flip "OH SHIT, OH SHIT, OH SHIT, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT" Julius yelled as the boat continued to float "YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME GODDAMN IT! AT LEAST LET ME HAVE A DAMN YOUNG WOMAN TO LOVE BEFORE PULLING A TITANIC ON ME YOU DAMN FATE" Julius yelled as he held his breath as the boat flipped upside down.

The shear force of the collision to the water was harsh and Julius was forced to let go of the railing that he desperately held onto. His lungs were weak and burning from holding in the air. The whole fire incident did not make it as easy as he wished for it and everything hurt. Julius began to swim, he pushed himself as he swum from underneath the boat and tried to reach the surface. He tried so desperately and in the last moment, before he lost his consciousness, he reached above the water and took a deep breath.

Glass was shattering and she was getting the idea, moving to climb out of the window with her bag(which had surprisingly gotten caught under the table she and Marina had been), where Electric Blue was getting out of and sitingt on the rail. Her balance was lose much quicker than she expected and she went sliding down into a pole. Pain shot up her spine, but not enough to disorient her will to live. It was the world spinning and her head slamming up against the top of the ceiling that made her groan out in pain. She couldn't help but take a moment to just ... sit there, and during that time, water came violently flooding through the broken windows, pushing shards of glass with it. Her heart started pounding as the ice cold water touched her, and she turned herself around, so that she was on her stomach on the ceiling.

The current was kind of swirling her around now, and there was no where to stand. The boat was filling up quickly with water, and falling deeper into the ocean. In a few seconds, her eyes were opening wide and burning slightly at the exposure to salt water. She held her breath and took off.

She swam with the current, down a long hall that was barely recognizable anymore, and to a swinging door. The water pressure had already burst the windows from here, and the current was pushing against her body -- nearly sending her flying back again into the dining area. Her fingers clutched desperately at the window frames, and she held her ground, feeling an agonizing pressure in her shoulder that made her want to scream. Instead, she used all of her strength to pull herself out onto where the deck would be.

As soon as she was 'out', her body was tossed by the current, her hip scraping up against the falling ferry and her head slamming up against something a piece of wreckage. She took in a lungful of water, unable to hold it anymore, but continued to kick upwards. One of her arms was out of commission, but that was okay. She just needed air.

It took a while, but she made her, and emerged gasping and sputtering and hurling out in front of her. She was freezing cold.

When water from the outside began pouring through the broken window, Alex knew that he would need to find another way out. The dining hall hadn't fully filled with water yet so he still had some time, but he would have to hurry if he wanted to get out alive. Now Alex could swim, he just wasn't strong enough to go against the current. That would mean he would have to go around.

Taking in the deepest breath he could, he dove under water and swam the hallway. Right now he wasn't too concern about which was way fastest or easiest, all he wanted was to get away from the watery grave around him. It took quite a lot of effort and even at one point another huge breath fro him to make it out through the hallway.

Now that that was out of way, he used the rest of his strength to swim away from the boat. Once he was cleared, he took one more deep breath, this one however was so that he could actually regain some of the fresh air around him.

--- I ain't got time for that info crap---

Aislin was sleeping on the boat and woke up to screams at first, then she felt all of her weight shift until she was on the ceiling, "OW DAMN IT." she looked around and had enough time to process that the ship was sinking. Why was the ship sinking? She didn't know but she really cared.

Aislin watched as water filled the boat and she freaked out. She moved as fast as she could and looked for a spot to leave. The water was forcing her to not be able to swim out and she found herself crying, then stopping to be able to save herself some oxygen.

Water filled up quickly where she was and the glass from the window near her shattered, releasing a huge amount of water in her direction. She flew straight into the wall on the other side of the boat but had no time to catch herself before another window shattered, and another, and another.
Helplessly she felt herself get pushed around, water was getting into her mouth because she had not held her breath in time. One more burst of pressure came from a final window which shot her across and out a previously broken window on the opposite side.
Aislin quickly surfaced coughed, she needed help at that moment, she couldn't swim because an arm was broken and she was half choking on water. Her eyes were red and the burns on her skin from the fire were worsened from the cold.

There was a lurching and Noëlle slammed into the table while Maria's back slammed into the back of her seat before falling forwards as well. What...? Her eyes drifted around the room as a loud creaking noise wracked the ship, followed by the sounds of car alarms going off and then dying out as quickly as they came. Something was happening. Her heart caught in her throat and her eyes widened. Slowly the room began to tip and go lopsided. This wasn't happening. This wasn't happening. Her body began to slip out of the chair and she tried to hold onto the secured table. The screams and splashes permeated her hearing and panic started to bubble up.

Noëlle was still there. She was grateful for that. Maria was internally panicking and probably would have lost her grip on reality if there wasn't someone beside her. She watched as the younger girl made her way to the window but couldn't seem to get it open. Maria pulled herself up closer to the window, leaving her bag and purse behind. If the ferry was sinking, it would all be ruined anyway. She wrapped her arms around the bars that spanned in front of the window. We need to break the glass! Screams and splashing sounds grew louder from the outside of the dining area. There was a door to the left, but no way would they make it in time. The ferry was sinking. God I hate water! This was a nightmare.

Maria's icy blue eyes searched frantically for a way to break open the window. If there was some way she could hold on and throw a chair at the window, she totally would, but that wouldn't go over well with the vessel being at an angle. She would have to try it anyw-- Grab on or die! Come on you guys! some girl shouted.

She didn't make it in time. By the time Maria had grabbed whatever it was that the girl left dangling, the ferry was already upside down and she went from dangling in the air to slamming against the wall. She pulled herself through, getting pelted with water as it began to pour in through the broken windows of a sinking ferry. Her feet struggled in the water as she kicked frantically. Maria's head rubbed against the deck and railings as she tried to move. It was impossible. Her mind was growing foggy with fear. Wasn't drowning once enough? How were they supposed to get out without being sucked down deeper? I can't swim... She struggled as she kept trying to move farther out. It was hard to see. Opening her eyes underwater wasn't something she normally did. Air was escaping her as she barely had enough left to break through to the surface. Her arms splashed frantically against the water and she struggled and kicked to keep her head up.

Pierce had just been coming out of the bathroom when things began to go crazy and had run to the railing as the boat began to tip. She had held on until the boat began to completely flip over before dropping the water directly below. This way she was safe from hitting the railings below her. She tried to hold onto her duffel bag, but it weighed her down too much and had to release it into the murky depths below. Pierce struggled against the water, trying to keep her head above water as she struggled to swim further and further away. Her arms burned and her legs ached. She joined the swarms of bobbing heads in the water, trying to stay afloat.
    ***
Erik was still holding on when the ferry completely flipped over. He was sucked under with the rest of the deck and lunged himself up still holding onto the railing. He gasped for air but was quickly pulled back down. With one strong push off the railing, he pulled himself onto the bottom of the ferry. His arms frantically grasped at the underside and he pulled himself up until he was free of the water temporarily. He moved to the farthest point he could find before diving out into the water. He helped run the swimming activities at camp. It was one of his athletic strong suits, but even still it was difficult for him to swim away from the sinking ferry.

"What are you talking about? I've never been bet-"

Before he could even finish the last syllable of the word, the ferry had lunged forward accompanied by a loud noise. Tucker was immediately thrown off of his feet, falling backwards and releasing the half-filled glass of orange juice in his hand. He let out a yell when landed on his back, with a loud thump. Pain surged through his entire body as he made contact to the tough floor. As the ferry continued to move and tempted to flip over, he reached back and grabbed a metal rod from the ferry's railing. He held on to it as tightly as he could.

Increasingly, he could feel himself beginning to carry his own weight. The ferry was flipping over. He knew that by the time he would hit the water, there would be a great pull on the ferry - with him included. But it all happened so fast. Ice cold water stung at his skin. Soaking his shirt and shorts and polo and shoes. He never let go of the railing, but when the rough waters crashed onto the deck, Tucker slammed his shoulder on the deck's wooden floor. The pain was terrible but Tucker knew he needed to get out now. He needed to makes sure he can get out and make sure everyone else was alright.

With the water's help, he was able to pull himself up more, and with a painful kick off the deck he launched himself to the side of the ferry, using the railing to direct him there before he let go and began to swim up. His lungs were craving for air as he wasn't prepared for anything. Luckily, with this athletic build, he was able to swim up to the surface. He gasped loudly as his head popped out of the water, frantically searching around for anyone. Remembering who he was just with, he cupped his hands by his mouth and yelled, "Erik!"

Elisa felt her back press into her chair. She would have flew right out of it if she hadn't gripped onto the nailed table so tightly. She gripped so tightly as she held on for her life. Great terror was probably evident on her face. Everything was so scary. She couldn't even scream or yell or think!

Water began to fill the ferry and gravity seemed to be absolutely odd. She found herself gripping tightly at the table, but since the gravity was shifting she knew this wouldn't hold out for much longer. It was true, she fell into the water quickly. The current was insane and broken shard of glass seemed to be everywhere. She gulped nervously, she knew she had to get out now.

She took a deep breath and swam forward, she needed to get out to the surface. She swam through a hall, recognizing it as the one to the deck. That was a good idea! To the deck, then away from the ferry and then out to the surface. It would just be a long swim, but it was her best chance. Once she saw the door out of the deck, she took a much deeper breath than the first and then dove under. She swam through that door and felt her back immediately bump onto the deck's floor. She flipped over to face it, using it to guide her to an edge by the railings. She felt the cold metal railing bumped onto her head, which hurt a bit, but that didn't bother her as she grabbed onto it and began to swim away from the ferry, kicking as hard as she could.

She thought she wouldn't make it out, but as air began to feel her lungs she knew she had made it. She gasped out, breathing in lots of air and swallowing some salt water. She coughed violently. What was going on?

Adrian felt the boat lurch. He dropped the violin and got outside. The boat was tipping over at a fercious rate. Time to put those life skills to use. "WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!" He shouted to the remaining crew and campers, "NEVERMIND YOUR BELONGINGS, WOULD YOU RATHER DIE FOR YOUR OWN STUFF OR LIVE YOUR LIFE?? GET OUT I TELL YA!"

Toni ran up to him as best she could. She heard his orders. They both nodded, and took off upwards to the steeper side of the ship and jumped off high into the air. Toni's hand suddenly slips from Adrian, and falls backwards into the ship. She crashes through the glass, somehow managing to snap her neck in the process.

"NO!" Adrian screamed, but it was too late. He righted himself in the air, and dived in the water. Thanks swimming lessons. You greatly helped me in saving my sister, who is now deader than a doornail. He came up for air. The boat sank. He saw the group of campers all ready out and swam to them. "Pierce!" he cried, seeing her among them. He swam more closely to the group, and treaded water to stay afloat

Glass. Sebastian faced glass. He'd missed the opportunity to escape when Natalie had rushed into the thick of things as Lexi smashed the window, and the cruelest notion was how attractive it was to watch the younger girl take charge of the situation. But now he figured he was alone with his sole window to the world as it came crashing down around his body with cold consistency. As the cold salt water creeped up under his chin, he tried to get the last of his breaths in as the area below him flooded. He knew it was over, because he'd been too tired to swim, and the water was moving faster. Still, just when everything was starting to go well... and things got even better.

Diving through the water, Sean spotted a pair of kicking skinny legs donned in a suit. Without a moment to pause, Sean grabbed Sebastian under and wound up wrapping the young lad under his arm. He was heavy, so Sean could easily dive and was barely making it out himself. Of all the places to wind up, they wound up both on the other side of that glass window before reaching fresh oxygen and the rays of the sun above. They gasped in tandem with each other as fresh oxygen entered their lungs at last.

"Well, never expected a bully like you to be my savior."

"And I expected a patzy like you to get stuck under the boat when everyone else was getting out." Sean returned. "At least you were close... I was a distance off. Have you seen Jenna?"

    "Who? And you're bleeding."

"Frick." Sean tried to resist the urge to hold his head which had acquired a fancily nasty gash just above the temple. He'd earned it from being knocked against a table in the turnover, but didn't notice it until now, when the adrenaline was settling in. "RAAAAAH! That stings!" Salty tang was creeping into the nerves of his skull. Nothing lethal particularly, but extremely painful.

Sebastian guided Sean over to a nearby table where Stratana was also finding comfort.

    Earlier,

Knocked for a loop, Stratana dizzily heard Lexi call out the others to get out and swiftly followed her, a plate of salad smacking her in the face as she clung to a nearby railing. Following out with everyone else, she made it to the surface, and once there, clung onto Lexi with all of her might, but in realizing she bring them both down, she clung to a nearby floating door instead. "So you make me feel better about my weight and you save my life?" Stratana whimpered. "Anything you want, you can have it." She started to cry amidst the devastation, digging her face into the wooden edifice of the door.

"Erik!" He snapped his head around, trying to see through the crashing waves that washed over him.

Erik caught sight of a familiar mop of red hair swimming over to him. "Tucker!" he shouted over the screams and sounds of the ferry sinking. His arms pumped as he swam over to the fellow counselor, closing the distance. "Hey! Are you okay?" They needed to get out of the freezing water. His eyes scanned for the shore. He wasn't tired yet, but fatigue would consume him soon enough and that was with him being a skilled swimmer, it didn't account for all those that weren't. The sound of someone shouting for help pricked his ears, but he couldn't see who the voice belonged to over all the bobbing heads struggling to stay afloat.
    *****
    Pierce!

She whipped her head around but couldn't see a face to go with the sound of the voice. Pierce was almost sure she had imagined it completely. Her arms burned from the swimming the heavy wool sweater weighed her down exponentially, but she couldn't take it off. That would involve being submerged again and she was already having issues returning to the surface. Her legs kicked beneath her as she swam closer to the other groups of people. She needed to save her energy, but get away from the suction of the ferry. As Pierce approached the masses, she let her body drift and float on her back. Her whole body was numb from the cold.
    *****
Maria kicked frantically and flailed her arms. Her head kept bobbing under the water and swallowing large gulps of it as she did so. Her mind was foggy and her limbs burned with exhaustion. She couldn't do it. Maria tried to call out for help, but it sounded more like Helwhlp, as she sucked in water. The current kept pulling on her and she wasn't sure how far away from the ferry she had actually gotten. Maria did her best to at least keep one hand above the water at all times. If they could see her hand then maybe someone would know she was there.

    Not with counter guys~ ---

Aislin finally got herself to stop coughing but still felt in terrible pain. She refused to look at her left arm and kept herself treading water with her legs only. Aislin was terrified and trying to calm herself down when she heard.
    "Helwhlp,"
Aislin looked around quickly and saw a single arm flailing about. Aislin looked around the water looking for something that perhaps the struggling person could hold onto. There was nothing in immediate range, but she did a whole area filled with floating objects from the boat. One of these objects being a life guard ring. Why? She had no idea. She swam as fast as she could to get it then pulled it over towards Maria.
"Try and hold onto this." She managed to spew out as slowly grew tired.

Her arm throbbed with pain, while the opposite clung to the snapped strap of her soaked bag. Her thighs burned, and the fear crept up into her heart again. Gazing around, she could see familiar faces bobbing about -- including Bryan's. The ocean scratched at her neck and splashed against her chin and lips, while her legs swung endlessly beneath her.

Discarded luggage, papers and silverware rode the waves like the rest of them. Maria had gasped out for help, but she hadn't been the only one. Two people had aggressively claimed the only lifebuoys that had made it back to the surface, while everyone else who couldn't swim either relied on another or ... drowned. A bitter taste filled the back of Noëlle's throat, and she whimpered quietly to herself.

At least this wasn't her fault ...

Tears fell from her eyes and she tried, painfully, to wade her way to Bryan. In the end, she gave up. It was too much. It was energy she didn't have. She wouldn't last long out here -- none of them would. Camp leaders, counselors and students were becoming indistinguishable.

It was then that her turquoise eyes spotted the wreckage of another vessel. A few students were climbing up on it, now, but the side had clearly read the 'SS Georgey', whatever that meant.

It wouldn't take a genius to realize they had crashed into another boat (ship?), somehow.

... Yes, somehow, indeed. The sky was a splotchy blue and white, and the ocean was clear in all directions.

    How did they crash?

Without noticing it, Noëlle had started wheezing into the water again. Her lungs burned. The sun was hot on her face, but the rest of her body felt like an icicle. For just a moment, she considered giving it up. She considered taking a deep breath, exhaling, and letting her body go slack. Drowning didn't seem like a fun way to die, but it wasn't the worst. She heard that after a few burning gulps of water, the body went calm and the world simply ... faded away.

It was too early to give up, though. Maybe after a few hours of no progress.

Honestly, wasn't there some kind of ... alert system for when a ferry crashed? Shouldn't someone be coming? They had to be. It didn't make any sense for them not to. They just had to hold tight until then.

    It'll be okay ...

It was mostly to herself, but offered comfort to any one else near her.

    SQUAWK, SQUAWK !!

Her shoulders tensed and she swiveled around in the water, nearly losing her bag in the process. It was a horn, that sounded more like the honking of a duck.

Relief filled her heart. It was a speedboat!

Are you guys alright? Oh my Lord, what am I saying, look at this mess! My wife and I were just headin' out when we heard a ... a sound just like a ... like a bomb, almost! The helmsman, a tall, coffee-skinned man with dark hair and speckled green eyes turned to his wife for confirmation. She nodded with wide, worried eyes. We came around the bend there and ... Wow, this is just a disaster! We can fit a few more in the boat here, would you guys like some help? ... It doesn't look like anyone else is comin', so we can take a few back with us and call someone!

Noëlle wasn't entirely sure, and she turned around to look back towards the other's. The speedboat had caused some more waves, and a new current. Her legs were about to fall off, she could feel it.

GO, AND SEND HELP. GROUP ONE, IF YOU CAN FIT, TAKE UP HIS OFFER. HAVE THEM COME BACK FOR GROUP TWO AND SO ON. IF THERE IS ANYONE EXTREMELY INJURED, TAKE THEM WITH YOU NOW.

Suddenly, the voice of Garth rang out over the water. Nervousness crept up inside of her, but she pushed it down and nodded.

Most of those who were majorly injured were either within group one or already ...

She coughed and sniffled, kicking her way to the edge of the speedboat and accepting the stranger's help inside. She trembled and held her numb arm at the shoulder, considering popping it back into place but not having the nerve quite yet.

More wet bodies piled in, and the helmsman looked a bit ... agitated. They were probably too many, but who was he to tell anyone to get back into the water? They looked pitiful. Instead, he went back to wheel and, suddenly, they were jetting off in the opposite direction of the sunken vessels. No one had bothered to ask where exactly they would be going, but Noëlle was happy enough just getting out of the water. The sun began to warm the rest of her body.

Thank you. Her voice was a bit too aggressive, but they didn't seem to notice.

Oh, it's not a problem, his voice was genuine, and she felt at ease. I'm just glad we got there on time! ... You can call me Mr. Grant! He said the name with great pride, and Noëlle wondered casually what kind of a relationship he had with his parents.

Mrs. Grant grabbed a towel from the starboard and meekly offered it to Maria -- who looked terribly shaken up. Noëlle was envious, but put it aside. Her bag sat on her lap, and her eyes stared out ahead of them. She wondered what would happen now, and about her own parents.

Part of her expected this boat to sink, too.

    Luckily, that didn't happen.

After a small amount of time on the water, they arrived at a beautiful private dock, with vibrant greenery and pure, white sand. They had to walk a short distance before being stopped by a ginormous silver gate, where Mr. Grant punched in a number. Mrs. Grant put did the same, and they both pressed their thumbs against a censor before the gate opened to accommodate them.

It was a bit ... extravagant, for such a simple looking couple, but what could she say?

They were invited into a type of car she had never seen before, and piled into the back.

    Patrick, they ...

The rumbling of the car driving over white gravel drowned the conversation in the front mostly out, but Noëlle could pick out a few things. Mr. Grant's name was Patrick, and Mrs. Grant's name was Delilah. They had a daughter and a son.

Driving took over an hour, and the wait made her feel anxious. Their cell phones weren't going to be working any time soon, and she just wanted to go home.

The longer they took, the more she felt they weren't going back for the others.

Finally, they arrived at a rather fantastical inn (Bentley Grove Inn was engraved at the top of a tall arch in bright pink cursive letters) that reminded her of a gingerbread house and Mr. Grant parked, turning to face them in the back.

Alright, kids. Those of you who aren't injured can stay here for the night. Tell the innkeeper -- Cane -- that Patrick sent you. If you need medical attention, head on across the street to the clinic. Mrs. Grant and I are going to go send help to the rest of your friends, just in case!

Night was falling quickly and a bad feeling bubbled up in her stomach.

Even so, she climbed out of the car when motioned to, and clutched her bag to her stomach. The strange car gurgled before going completely silent, like a hybrid, and disappeared along the vanilla hued cobblestone beneath them.

Bentley Grove Clinic was literally right across the street. It was an old fashioned looking establishment made of sugar-painted brick, with as bright a label as the Inn's. Inside, she could see sky blue circular seats and white carpet.

Her heart lurched in her chest. It would not have been nearly as unsettling, if there had been more people around ... or anyone, other than them.

    Well ...

Her throat was hoarse. Bryan was the only one she felt she could consult, but he had been ... distant, and she didn't know what to do. Jack was not there, and Alice ...

Feeling alienated and awkward, she stepped slowly away from the group and headed over to the clinic, holding her bag close to her as the double doors swung open automatically.

The clinic smelled like a bakery -- which was really alarming. Her nose crinkled and her head spun. No one was at the counter, so she picked up a bronze hand-bell and swung it back and forth.

In a few seconds, a nurse stepped up to the front desk. She had large, bright green eyes, a button nose, rosy cheeks and a head full of sandy curls. Very beautiful.

Hello, how can I help you?

Noëlle smiled politely, ignoring the strange revving sounds she heard coming from behind the desk.

Yes! Um...My name is Noëlle Chambers. Some friends and I just got here ...Patrick brought us? Our ferry was in an accident and some of us are a little ... scratched up, haha.

I'm so sorry to hear that! That explains why you're out past curfew. Not to worry, sweetheart, just sign your name here on the sign-in sheet and we'll get you all taken care of.

With a deeply appreciative nod and smile, she did as she was told and took a seat in one of the curved chairs. Her fingers shook and she clutched her bag tighter, exhaling.

    ...Jesus.

Aislin was extremely grateful for the man's arrival with the boat, and accepted help into the boat with her working arm. When she was up she clinged to her arm in pain and sat down in the boat. At this point the pain in her arm was numbed out from the cold, but the burns on her legs and face continued to irritate.
After an hour of trouble they were finally dropped off in front of an inn, which was across from a clinic. Aislin turned her head to Mr. Grant and spoke, "Thank you so very much."
When she went into the clinic she listened to Noëlle speak with the nurse. When she was up at the counter the nurse politely smiled and had pointed to the sign in sheet, which Aislin hadn't even said she was with Noëlle, but she assumed that walking in right behind her was indication enough. Aislin signed her name on the sheet and was told to sit down near Noëlle. Aislin did not want to seem awkward so she sat with a seat in between them.
Aislin took a deep breath and spoke, addressing it to whoever wanted to respond, "I think I am growing to hate doctors offices. Two days in a row I am in one, one for burns and now for an accident relating to water. Just suck me up in a tornado already..." Aislin thought about that last sentence for a moment and whispered, "Never-mind I don't want that to be taken as a challenge."

Sean rubbed his head. He'd kept getting light headed, but he had managed to stop the bleeding himself. Grunting from how sore he was, he lumbered onto the inn to crash into a easy chair that smelt like a lemon meringue pie. He hated the species of pie with a passion, so he moved. Caramel. Too sugary; he moved. Dark chocolate...hmmmm... he melted into the fine leather seating and took in the inn lobby. "Fancy place." Sean said aloud. In a moment, Jenna crashed into him to startle him.

"This place smells like sweets. Are the innkeepers going to eat me?" She said with a perturbed expression.

Sean sighed. "If they do: I'll go first. The months it takes them to finish me off will give you more than enough time to escape." Sean joked with Jenna's worries, making their ridiculousness dissipate, and causing her to go into a fit of giggles before taking a curvy butterscotch-coloured ladder chair.

"Wow, Sean. That's actually kind of creative; in a disturbing way." Sebastian had taken the Meringue perfumed chair nearby. He hated to admit it, but things looked too sweet to him to not be bitter, but he held in his suspicions. 'Why look a gift horse in the mouth.'

"Lexi! Hold me down! Everything smells like candy to me! And I can't take it!" Stratana collapsed in the lobby as her legs gave way to the gurgling in her stomach. Nearly certifiably insane from all the sun exposure, it was questionable how much reality was in her perception of scent.

Alex was fully relieved when the boat appeared in the water. After that string of bad events, they needed something good to happen to them. He wasted no time getting aboard and finally being able to rest his body. Still he remained silent as always as he watched the boat sail away from the wreckage.

The following things also made him somewhat happy. First they arrived at a dock which was followed by the arrival of a car. Then they arrived at the inn where they were given the option of heading to the clinic if they were injured or head inside and rest up. Sure Alex had a few cuts and bruises here and there, but there were clearly others who were worse off than he was. There was no point of him going if he would just take up unnecessary space. Seeing just how many people were heading over there just proved his point.

Making his way into the inn, he took a quick look around. It seemed welcoming enough, not that he was in any position to complain about it. He spent another moment trying to figure out who this Cane person was. Picking out who he assumed to be Cane, he started to make his way towards her. "Um, P-Patrick said to see you f-for a room key." In response, he was given a room key. Giving her a quick nod, he headed towards the designated room. Almost instantly after getting inside, he plopped himself onto the bed and fell asleep.

Adrian did not like this. Not one entire bit. He had agreed to go along with this, but after clearing his head, this seemed as much as a trap. All boats had an alarm system Then, his mind started to reel. Where was Toni?
He gasped loudly. Tonitrui Gloval was dead.

Adrian dropped to his knees. He put his hands on the floor, as though he hadn't felt something like that in ages. His throat was dry. He was thirsty, but nauseated at the fact that his sister was.....
Adrian threw up away from the group. Too many...too many....this was not meant to be....
"My sister is dead.." Adrian said slowly, bluntly. A tinny ringing of the ears made him put his head on the floor. He let out a screech.
"AND I COULDN'T ****ING SAVE HER!" His voice turned temporarily guttural. He looked up at the others and his eye twiched.

"And I couldn't save her...." He repeated this over and over, like a scared child, who lost his mother when he needed it the most. He suddenly stands up, an angry look on his face.
"My life is hell." He said slowly, "ONCE! I lost a friend to terminal cancer. TWO!! My last girlfriend stabbed me in the back, putting me into a five-day coma. THREE!!!" He was on the verge of angry tears. "Tonitrui....my sister...my only sister, dies before my eyes...."
He drops to the floor, crying his heart out. He had finally broke. He closed his eyes, wanting all this to stop.
