LENNOX was breathing heavier when their lips parted and Julius pulled away. Everything inside of her was going berserk and she blinked twice in an attempt to defog her mind. She hadn't expected that from Julius. It was a refreshing change of pace. Julius smiled softly as he ran his fingers through her dirty hair. It sent tingles throughout her body that left her feeling numb. ⌈ Sorry, I'm just too used to you starting off everything...I'll take more initiative. ⌋ he apologized. Julius wrapped his bare arm around her and pulled Lennox as he kissed her on the cheek.​

She swallowed. Her mouth was dry and she pressed her hand lightly to Julius's collarbone. Lennox hovered her lips near his ear. ⌈ Julius, ⌋ she said haughtily. Her voice came out low and husky as she whispered to him. ⌈ If you don't want me to like, ⌋ she raked her teeth across her bottom lip, ⌈ rape you or something, you should probably put some clothes on. ⌋ She ran her along his exposed collarbone and trailed kisses from his ear back to his mouth. Lennox pulled away slowly and chewed on her bottom lip. She let her hands fall to her knees and rose to her feet.​

Lennox tapped him lightly on the shoulder before heading towards the sliding glass door. ⌈ I should be good to go in about twenty minutes. ⌋ Her hand rested on the handle to the door and she looked back over to him. ⌈ Come find me at my room? ⌋ she asked before walking out.​

She was quite dazed with everything that had gone on and Julius could only chuckle slightly. It actually felt nice to confuse the girl like this and soon enough she had left the room in order to get changed. With her finally gone he let out a relieving sigh as he was able to finally get himself dressed. Never again would he forget his clothes when going to shower, that was what he told himself.

Being fully clothed again felt nice. The clean feeling he had was great and the headache and pain he felt was not even really affecting him at all. He was wondering if the others were alright, but they had Erik so he knew that they would be perfectly fine on their own. He closed his eyes and let out another sigh before collapsing on his bed "you'd think things would be much more easier as time moves on..." Julius said.

20 minutes had passed and Julius got off his bed and walked on out of the room. He moved on through the resort, trying his best to recall the rooming arrangements. "Now...Lennox should be iinnnnnnnn this room?" Julius muttered to himself as he reached the room Lennox resided in and knocked on the door and waited for Lennox or anybody else in the room to at least answer the door for him.

 

OOC: Short post because Library people said I have five minutes.

Natalie looked at Alex's text and responded with "okay". She got up grudgingly and got dressed. She looked awful but didn't care, she just wanted the drama over with. Natalie couldn't help but still feel awful about the night before's events. She was totally wrong, and was being immature. Wait, why was she moping? She just needed to apologize to Alex and they would be good, wouldn't they?

It still beat having to deal with Estelle. And speaking of older girls... where the hell was Cel?

She arrived in the lobby and immediately spotted Alex. She sat next to him. "Hey honey..." Natalie said, looking down at the ground shyly.

THERE was a knock at the door as Lennox pulled her boots. The other two girls in the room seemed thoroughly impressed by how quickly Lennox was able to get changed. She had told them it came from years of experienced practice and if they tried hard, they might be able to do it someday too. Lennox neglected to tell them where she had gained the experience, but that was probably for the best. She walked to the door and smiled to the man on the other side. ⌈ Well hey there stranger, ⌋ she greeted. Lennox stood in the doorway and leaned her hip against the frame. ⌈ Do ya wanna get some dinner? ⌋​

Dinner -- that was a slow/normal thing to do. She shut the door behind her back and wrapped her arms around his bicep. Lennox walked with Julius to the restaurant and gave him a kiss on the cheek before taking a seat. She picked up the menu from the table and looked over the top at Julius. She ordered some chicken dish and a Whiskey Coke. Lennox smiled at him while waiting for the food and rested her elbows on the table, leaning forward. ⌈ This is nice and romantic and stuff. ⌋​

Lennox had answered the door and Julius had to smile at her appearance, taking a liking to it. "Dinner? ah that sounds perfect" Julius said with a smile as the girl wrapped her arms around his arm. He was starving and having dinner with Lennox would be a nice thing to do. After all the drinks they had it was nice to see that they would be able to have a proper meal together and not some wild moment together.

The restaurant was quite nice and everything, but his focus was more on Lennox to even care. He took a seat and opened up his menu, getting more and more hungry with each moment passing by. If it wasn't for the fact that he was on a date and in a restaurant his mouth would have been watering from the many delicious choices he could choose from. Eventually he chose to order a steak and a beer and the menus that stood between the two were taken away.

He saw Lennox leaning forward talking about how nice this moment was and Julius could only agree to this. Like Lennox, Julius placed an elbow on the table and rested his chin on the palm of his hand as he leaned forward. "Well now, I'm quite surprised we're having such a nice moment like this" Julius said with a smile as he stared on. There was something on his mind but he would deal with it after dinner. Lennox really was making an attempt to go a bit slower...so maybe he should do his part later on.

Seeing Nat sit next to him brought a smile to his face. Now they could finally get things settled once and for all. "Hey. Let's go ahead and get this stupid argument behind us." For the most part, that was all that he had to say on the subject. Most of his feelings on this were released yesterday. ​

As he wait for a response from her, he'd started to twiddle his thumbs. Clearly she was nervous about this, that much was clear by how she was acting. That aside, it would be for the best if they dealt with this issue now. ​

 

"Um... Alright." He started twiddling his thumbs. "Guess I'm not the only one really nervous..." she felt really bad, like she had just completely broken a whole thing that she had been building up. She brushed hair out of her face, then cleared her throat. "So..."

JULIUS followed suit, placing his elbow on the table as well and leaning forward. She didn't want to be one of those loser couples that kisses at restaurants from across the table. They always made her want to vomit. ⌈ Well now, I'm quite surprised we're having such a nice moment like this. ⌋ Julius said with a smile.​

⌈ What is that supposed to mean? ⌋ she questioned. That implied they didn't have nice moments before. Lennox leaned back in the chair and folded her hands in her lap.​

⌈ Things have been moving so fast lately... I'm just surprised to see us doing something so calm and slow. ⌋​

⌈ Oh, ⌋ she said lowly, ⌈ well ... I'm trying. ⌋​

Julius began to laugh as he reached forward and cupped her chin with his hand and gave her a kiss on the forehead. ⌈ I can see that and your doing a fine job, don't feel bad. ⌋​

Her face flushed and the waiter came back with their food. They broke apart and thanked the waiter before starting to eat. Dinner went by quickly and instead of spending the night closing out the restaurant's bar, they decided to leave after they finished eating. Lennox wound her fingers with Julius's as they walked back to the rooms. The sun was down and the starts twinkled in the night sky. Lennox rested her head against Julius's shoulder and sighed contentedly, leaning into him. ⌈ That was a fun dinner, ⌋ she said as they approached the huts.​

 

"As I said before, the kiss was an accident. I wouldn't try something like that behind your back." Hopefully hearing it when she's sober would be enough to convey the message.

Everything felt so different for Julius during this date night they had, but he really couldn't complain in the slightest. The food was great and spending time with Lennox was all that he really wanted. The place was getting darker and with night having arrived it was time for them to head off. He held Lennox's hand as the two of them walked on, but even as Lennox spoke there was still something on his mind.

"Yeah, it really was..." Julius said with a smile before suddenly closing his eyes with a sigh. "I can't do this..." Julius said softly before letting go of Lennox's hand and placed his hand on her shoulder "Lennox, I want you to pack your things and meet me at the lobby alright? I'll be there in a moment....there is some business I need to deal with for a bit alright?" Julius said giving her a small kiss on the cheek before turning off and leaving her alone.

 

"...Yeah... I know... And I'm sorry I didn't believe you before..." Natalie said. "I was kinda drunk... Remind me to never do that again when I'm emotional." It was a bad idea to do it anyway, in her opinion.

 

"Glady." Alex replied, not wanting to go through that again. By the sound of it, things were going smoothly. Though there was one more thing that he wanted to do. "One more thing, can you forgive Estelle as well?"

 

Natalie stopped immediately short. Could she really?

"...I don't know... I'm still unsure about her and I being friends... She ignored me for the most part after she met that one other guy..." She turned back to him. "The deal with you just kind of made it worse for me."

 

"Then at least hear her out." While he had no clue who this guy that's started all this was, he was certain that nothing good was coming from it.

⌈ LENNOX, I want you to pack your things and meet me at the lobby alright? I'll be there in a moment....there is some business I need to deal with for a bit, alright? ⌋ Julius said giving her a small kiss on the cheek before turning off and leaving her alone.

She stared after him in a stupor. Pack her things? Was he - was he making her leave? Lennox blinked in disbelief. She had actually thought things were going well enough. Why - why was he making her pack her things? She swallowed down a painful lump in her throat, that just seemed to settle in her chest. Lennox turned back to her room and walked in. Pierce and Elisa had just been sitting there chatting when she walked in. She was in too much of a daze to hear what they had to say. She slumped down on the couch and numbly grabbed her bag.

The other two had been trying to talk to her, but their words were lost on her. Most of Lennox's clothes had still been left in the bag, but she grabbed what she had in the bathroom and crammed it in as well. She picked up the jacket Julius had loaned to her the day before and her fingers trembled while holding it. This didn't seem fair. She had been trying so hard. This was why relationships were pointless and she never bothered to get involved, but Julius seemed like he might be different.

Lennox walked out of the room without a single word to her roommates. She stumbled her way down to the lobby and collapsed into one of the chairs. Her heart hammered in her chest and she was just awaiting Julius's arrival and his bad news. She could already feel things shifting. Lennox took a deep breath to try and calm down, but it wasn't working. She was getting worked up and that wasn't going to end well.

It took awhile for himself but soon enough Julius made his entry into the lobby with his own bags in tow. He glanced over at Lennox and let out a sigh. To be honest he had no real clue as to why he was doing this, but something inside just wanted him to, it urged him and he knew it would not stop unless he did what it wanted him to. He placed his belonging onto the ground and head over to the front desk.

There was talking and then there was an exchange between the two before finally the conversation ended with a handshake and Julius picked up his thing once more. He glanced around the lobby looking for the person he told to meet him there, and when he noticed said person his heart began to beat much more faster. It was stupid in his eyes, he didn't know why he was getting so worked over with such a thing, but there wasn't anything he could do.

He walked up to Lennox and placed his bags down before having a better look at her. Something didn't seem right about her, she seemed nervous, but why? "Sorry I took so long..." Julius said before reaching into his pockets with his eyes closed. Pulling out the object from his pockets, Julius held two plastic cards before him as a nervous look appeared on his face. "Um...here...this is the card key for your new room....er....our new room" Julius said

 

"Alright... Would be nice to have my best friend back indeed..." Natalie said shyly. They were getting somewhere, now she just had to seal the deal.

LENNOX had been staring down at her hands, picking at her fingernails like she often did when she was nervous. Not long later, there was a pair of legs and feet directly in front of her. She lifted her head to see Julius towering over her. She sucked in a sharp breath, expecting him to ask her to leave the resort. What surprised her, was the sight of the bags over his shoulder. What exactly was going on? ⌈ Sorry I took so long... ⌋ he apologized before reaching into his pockets with his eyes closed. He pulled out two thin sleek plastic cards -- he must have wanted her to turn in her card from the room she shared with the girls -- and held them up in front of her. A nervous look crossed his face and she started to fumble with her jacket pockets in search of the one she possessed. ⌈ Um...here...this is the card key for your new room. ⌋ He handed one over to her and Lennox took it with confusion written all over her face. ⌈ ... Er.... Our new room. ⌋ Julius corrected.​

She rose to her feet swiftly and stared down at the key card in her hand before lifting her blue - eyed gaze up to meet Julius's brown one. Lennox gulped and tightened her grip on the card. What was he doing? She had been preparing herself for some sort of request to leave, definitely not this! Julius wanted to take things super slow, so why did he get a room for the both of them -- unless, would he actually be wanting to engage in more physical acts? It didn't seem like him, not that she had known him long enough to know the 'true' Julius just yet. ⌈ Are - are ya sure? ⌋ she asked timidly. Lennox wasn't one to act so weak or timid, but he had thrown her a complete curve ball.​

⌈ Yes I'm positive about this. You're honestly the first person I've ever felt this way towards, and hell, it may sound corny as hell but you may be the only person I will ever feel this way for. ⌋ he told her.​

Lennox nodded her head at him and tossed the bag over her shoulder. She took his hand followed him to the room. Her heart raced the who way there and Lennox couldn't help but wonder what they might do in this private hut. She hoped this wasn't all because of what she said that afternoon. She wanted to find some sort of common ground for the pace of the relationship, but she didn't want to pressure him. He unlocked the door and they set their bags down on the ground. Lennox turned to him and the door shut on its own. She wrapped her around his shoulder and looked up at him curiously. ⌈ So, what now cap'n? ⌋ she whispered.​

He closed his eyes and sighed before opening them once more and stared down at her eyes with a soft smile. ⌈ Anything you want, ⌋ Julius said before leaning in and beginning to kiss her.​

​

Lennox was more than a little surprised by his boldness, but it was what made her stop questioning things. She kissed him back and slowly walked back towards the bed. Her calves hit the edge of the bed and she fell back in Julius's arms. She giggled and bit down on her bottom lip as she pulled him down on top of her. Julius was really trying and he - he didn't seem ready. It all seemed a little forced. As much as she would have liked to have done more, she didn't want him to feel pressured.​

She broke away and smiled up at him, her heart hammering in her chest. ⌈ It's fine Julius. We don't have too, not until you actually feel ready. This, ⌋ she motioned to the room and shared bed, ⌈ is enough for me right now. ⌋​

Their kiss was amazing and Julius realized just what he had been missing over the years of his younger days. This moment was wonderful and being with Lennox made him not care about how long it took him to reach this moment. He told himself he was ready, but no matter how much he told himself this, it was a lie. He just wanted to make Lennox happy, and if this was what she wanted then he would be ready.

The two found themselves on the bed and continued with what they were doing, but it merely ended there and Julius raised an eyebrow in mere confusion. She told him how it was alright, that he didn't have to do this if he wasn't ready, and with that the surprised look became soft as he rested beside her on the bed. "I just...want to make this perfect for you" Julius said holding her in his arms.

"There are still a good way for us to go...but were are making really good progress..." Julius said. To see her try like this and make their relationship work was something that truly earned the trust of Julius. Julius' eyes closed as his embrace on Lennox remained firm. "We'll be together for a long...long time..." Julius said as he began to fall asleep. With a smile he drifted off to sleep.

 

lennox buried her face into the crook of his neck, absorbing the warmth of julius's body wrapped around. she shut her eyes and sighed happily at his comment about being together for a very long time before falling asleep.
