Toni immediatly knew what was wrong. Pierce was hiding. And Toni seemed to give her away. Well then, time to explain.
"Adrian was only trying to get to know you Pierce." Toni said gently, "He just doesn't interact with girls that much, a little nervous. Besides, the look on your face suggested that he wasn't the only one that was nervous. I saw you and Adrian talking, and if you ask me, you have the hots for him. If thats the case, all I have to say to you is this: we don't know if all of us are actually are going home, and if those are the chances, and if you don't want him to go away, you go out there and talk to him.

Toni put her back to the stall Pierce had been hiding in. "If you like him, you can't let him go. If you have feelings for him, let him know. He deserves to know. Otherwise, why would he be so nervous?"
Toni started to walk out the bathroom, and before she left, she said, "My brother is very lonely, Pierce. Two tradgedies had a strong toll over his head, and not a day goes by when I pity him. Change him, and not only he'll be happy, you'll be happy. I promise you that Pierce."

Adrian finished with his food and went to his living quarters. All his stuff was there, including his guitar. He picked it up, and played the guitar part of "What I've Done". He usually played that when he had a lot on his mind. He stopped playing after a while and sighed. His first and probably his only chance to get to know Pierce, and he probably talked her ear off with his stupid comments. He threw his guitar on the bed, and took his violin from his pack, and played "Shadows" by Lindsey Stirling, his favorite violin artist. This track got his mind off things. This motivated him to play at a max level, and the melodious shrieks of the violin reached the rest of the ships corridors.

Stratana "yii"ed following getting Lexi's number. "O-M-G! Do you have a boyfriemd? Because if not, we so need to get you one. You seem so cool and pretty... Not like some of the dweebs here." Stratana took Lexi's hands in her own, "Er- What was your name again?" Stratana asked. She couldn't remember if it had been said or if she'¢ iven her own. "You probably know who I am, but in case you don't Stratana Aria."

Sebastian laughed at the cake bit. He almost wondered if her mom was like her and if so, if she in turn was like his dad. Meaning, starting with a fas metabolism that eventually broke down. His dad was truthfully portly, but he hadn't seem him in months; maybe mom had gotten him to lose weight.

"I think girls usually kill for what you have." He knew from experiance. Girls usually wanted his body, just not in the usual boy girl way.

"Genetics are at work here, but they'll slow don soon, I think. Ever worry about that? I can't wait. I workout like crazy and it would be nice to put on a little muscle."

Erik glanced over in time to see Tucker wave goodbye to the other counselor with a loaf of bread. "So what happened anyway?" he asked when they were out of earshot from anyone else. Erik gave him a grim look and hooked his thumbs in the belt loops of his shorts and shrugged.

"They don't know the cause of the fire, but Garth said it wiped out about 46% of the forest and the wild animal problem would increase do to the lack of forest. There was definitely a bear attack during the fire, but I didn't hear anything about whether or not the bear had been taken care of." He chewed on the inside of his cheek and leaned against the railing. "Are you sure you're okay? You look a little off Tuck." He sighed and the wind blew his hair around wildly.

Adrian was only trying to get to know you Pierce. Toni said gently. Why would he be trying to get to know her? Pierce buried her face in her sweater-covered knees and sighed softly. He just doesn't interact with girls that much, a little nervous. Besides, the look on your face suggested that he wasn't the only one that was nervous. Why would he be nervous? Of course she was, but it made no sense for him to be. I saw you and Adrian talking, and if you ask me, you have the hots for him. Her face turned beet red and she could feel her whole body warming up as her heart pounded loudly in her chest. It was that obvious?

If thats the case, all I have to say to you is this: we don't know if all of us are actually are going home, and if those are the chances, and if you don't want him to go away, you go out there and talk to him. Pierce listened to Toni quietly from within the stall. There was a soft thud as Toni rested her hand on the other side of the stall door. If you like him, you can't let him go. If you have feelings for him, let him know. Why would she do something that ridiculously crazy and stupid? "He deserves to know. Otherwise, why would he be so nervous?" That doesn't make any sense. That cause does not equal that effect. She bit her bottom lip and gnawed on it while her heart continued to pound in her chest.
My brother is very lonely, Pierce. Two tragedies had a strong toll over his head, and not a day goes by when I pity him. Change him, and not only he'll be happy, you'll be happy. I promise you that Pierce. What?! She stared at the toilet in front of her as the sound of footsteps faded and the bathroom door opened and closed. What does that even mean? What happened? She felt like she couldn't breathe. Her lungs were tight in her chest and she clutched at the front of the sweater, feeling too hot now.
She wasn't sure what to do. There was no way she could actually talk to him. She barely got five words out before and now she knew--what exactly? Was his sister trying to say that he liked her back? That was just an absurd thought. They had never even really spoken before. She had only seen him in the halls and through class windows and the such. Pierce pulled herself to her feet, but her knees knocked together as they trembled. Her shaky hand unlocked the stall door and she hefted the bag back over her shoulder, creeping silently out of the bathroom. How much longer until they were off the ferry? She just wanted to run home and never leave her bedroom again. This whole three days had been far too stimulating. Her brain wasn't even beginning to process what Toni had said. She needed time to think it through--to skim the recesses of her brain and analyze the finer details.

Emalynn took a sip of her orange juice in an attempt to stop the coughing. It worked, but Jenna looked worried. Great. Now I've worked her up. Perhaps it was better to change the topic at a time like this. Emalynn did her best to try to get Jenna's mind off of her coughing. She looked down at the girl's plate. There was a slice of bread on it. Emalynn could tell that it was slightly toasted.

"Why don't you start eating?" she ended up asking. Jenna looked down at her food and gasped; probably because she had forgotten about it. The younger girl took a nibbled on her toast for a bit, while Emalynn took another sip of her juice. Not too long after, Jenna put it back down on her plate.

"Aren't you going to eat?" the younger girl asked. Emalynn hardly ever ate breakfast. At first it was because she was on a weight loss plan, but it soon became routine. However, knowing Jenna, she would probably ask for the reason along with the answer and Emalynn did not really want to teach a thirteen year old how to skip meals. That wouldn't have been too great.

Emalynn shook her head and explained, "I'm not hungry at the moment, but I'll grab something to eat later. Don't worry." She had added in the last part to try to relieve Jenna, and it seemed like it worked to some extent. She still had a look of suspicion on her face however.

When you fall in love, it is natural for there to be some ... doubt. Maybe there is some disapproval within the family, a bounty of destructive tendencies thrown about by your lover, or some crippling insecurity you have within yourself.

In any respect, rarely is love an iridescent mirror in which you gaze beyond with utter certainty.

That muddiness is precisely what I cherished about love.

Love was something uncertain, beautiful and dangerous ... If only I had considered just how dangerous it could be.

After all of that time dedicating yourself to someone, you just can't fathom how they could ...

Twelve years. My magnificent, fragile Rain held my heart for twelve years. We had children. Three. The eldest was just about to turn sixteen, while the youngest was six.

Had you questioned me last year, I would have told you that the time spent with Rain had it's peaks and valleys, but that overall I was happy -- we were happy -- I thought. Our children were beautiful, our finances acceptable and our home secure.

    I could not have known.

There came a day where she would not talk to me like she used to.

I could not have known that the sweetness that left her voice was the departure of something much ... much more consequential.

    June 16th, 2012.

The day my world went up in flames. The last day I would ever see my Rain, my children. The day I began to hate the word 'love' -- and the disgusting flames that reminded me of her.

    I heard there was a fire ... ?

If my glorious world burned to ashes, then why shouldn't everyone's?

Noëlle was just about to respond to Maria, after the number exchanging, when someone she ... kind of recognized butted in rudely. With a blank stare on her face, she took in what he was saying. By the end of it, she wore a scowl and all traces of relaxation had been wiped away. How ... Annoying. He was trying to comfort her -- them -- but it was just obnoxious, as it had brought her RIGHT back to the world she had just blurred out.

Was he a friend of yours?

    No.

The answer came so naturally -- and so bluntly, that she couldn't help but crack a smile and giggle sheepishly, a bit ashamed of her own attitude. Man, she was really a mess today!

Just then, her cell phone vibrated and she was delighted to see that Bryan had sent her a text! ... At least, at first she was, until she remembered her new stance on things and lifted her eyes towards Maria again with a disgruntled sigh.

She was in the midst of texting back, when the ferry suddenly lurched forward, throwing her stomach against the table and knocking the breath out of her.

There was a terribly loud screeching sound, and then a deep creaking noise that she had never heard outside of an action movie before. Her heart kicked up the pace and her eyes went wide as she struggled to catch her breath and pull herself out of her seat. Car alarms blared below them, and then only moments later were drowned out.

She wasn't sure what was happening, but she was scared. Her fear only heightened when she glanced out of the window to see the boat tilting... and tilting ... and tilting ... and ... Then she was slipping. She could hear screaming, and splashing. Then she could she bodies falling and sliding over the windows (which were now turning up to the sky).

It was evident, after a moment, that the ferry was sinking. Instead of asking questions as to why or panicking too badly (even though she felt like she might faint), she found herself climbed back up into the seating area before she tumbling down towards the salad bar, sitting on top of the upturned edge of the table, and trying to force the window open.

They didn't open, naturally. They were sealed tight, with no latches. She couldn't see any water yet, but the boat was in the middle of flipping upside down. From what she could see, water would be coming up through the top and those inside needed to get out, while those on the outside -- hopefully -- got in the water before the flip. Her eyes darted to the hallways. She wouldn't make it in time, they had to open the windows.

    Where was Bryan?

It was getting harder and harder to stay balanced on the table.

    "Excuse me,"
Alex was a little confused by Toni suddenly running off. He was sure that he didn't do anything to offend her or anything along those lines. Maybe she had go to the rest room. It would make sense considering the direction she ran off in. Meh, it wasn't his place to judge anyone, instead he went back to eating his food.
When that was all done, he got up and threw away anything that was left behind. Since he had nothing better to do, he look around to see if he could find anyone that he knew. There were still some of the faces from his cabin, but also Lexi from earlier. He still wanted to talk to her and so started to make his way towards the table she was sitting at, or that's he'd planned on doing.
From what he could hear, something had happen due to the alarms going on outside. But the sight he saw was much worse than what he assumed. The ferry was tipping and he was starting to slip. He had no intentions of falling all the way down so he begun to grab on to a nearby table to keep from falling. One problem was temporarily solved, but getting off the boat was a different one.

He was hungry after being half starved in that death camp called a hospital. So as soon as he was off the bus he half listened to Garth and shoved his way to the food tables. Fixing his plate and paying was no problem.

For an hour he consumed food and regained strength. Glad to have this slight quiet time. Until a tipping ferry began to upset him. Why? Because now his plate was sliding, and if it was sliding that meant it was time to leave. And possibly more of the dreaded running from earlier. He stood up and wiped his fingers clean, the slipperiness of his hands might cause him to lose his grip if he had to save himself or his Emalynn. Once that was in order, he grabbed his suitcase, and stuffed his CB bottle in the inner pocket of his vest's breast before striding to the side of the slanted deck. Oh, there was no life boats, and he could only float. Not to mention water would ruin his phone. He began to internally panic. He needed an adult. Instead he was bumped overboard.

Natalie felt the boat lurch. Before she could say anything, she knew that the boat was tipping. "Oh great... We're tipping!" She exclaimed. She thought. 'What would the Doctor do..?' Then it hit her. Natalie grabbed a chair and walked over to the window that Noelle was by. "Here! Take this chair and smash the window open!" She said, before slipping and hitting her chin on the chair.

Meanwhile, Lexi was freaking out. Then she noticed Natalie struggling. Thinking quickly, she grabbed her guitar case (while struggling to stay upright), pulled out both her main strap and he back up strap, and tied her main strap to one of the bolted down tables. She held on as tight as she could and picked up a chair. Using all her might, she threw the chair at the window, causing a small crack.

Unfortunately, the chair fell straight back down and smashed into Lexi's knee. "OWWWW! FFF****!" She screamed. Gritting her teeth, she took another chair and threw it, almost as hard, causing the window to finally break. "Yes!"

She untied herself and held on to one of the metal pieces sticking out from the window frames. She crawled out and tied her extra strap to it, then her main strap to THAT one. "Grab on or die! Come on you guys!" She said.

Natalie saw her chance. It was difficult to get there, but she managed to get there by grabbing on to the tables. By the end of it, she was sore and bleeding from where the chair had hit her chin. She could barely feel her arms and it was hard to climb, so Lexi helped her out into the water.

Lexi looked at the rest. "Come on you guys! We don't have much time!" It was true, the ship was almost straight up, and that would be too long a fall for any of them. Her straps werent FREAKISHLY long, but they were likely long enough for them to not have to go so far a distance.

The ship started pointing at the sky and Lexi and Natalie lost their grip.

'SHIIIIIIIT!' Lexi thought as she fell. She did her best to maneuver in the air to not break any limbs when she landed. She stayed totally straight.

Natalie was facing the water. Remembering a movie she saw once, she clamped her hands together and straightened her posture, closing her hands into fists to break the water's surface.

Sophie felt the boat lurch and lost her footing immediately, thrown into a frenzy of thoughts as to what was going on, and . . . Why was the boat suddenly tipping over? "Quentin . . ." she warned, trying to regain her stance. The boat was tipping farther and farther over every second and people were falling into the water.

Well, she had said something about wanting to go swimming soon, "Ready to take a dive?" she asked him playfully, her breath starting to rush up. She squeezed her eyes closed, took a breath, and with as much force as possible, pushed off the sided deck ( ouch, her arms! ) and dove into the water with a score of 6 of 10. Pathetic work, Sophie!

One moment, Bryan was speaking to Elisa and Richie, and the next, he felt the table, nailed to the floor, walling it into his stomach, knocking the life out of him for several seconds. When he came to completely, he heard yelps and screams from all around him and felt his chair sliding. In a rush, he grabbed onto the edges of the table, feeling like he was just going to slip any second.

He looked out the windows of the sided boat and saw the direct sky. The boat was tipping, crapcrapcrap! How were they supposed to get out? The windows . . . Bryan pound his fist against the window, eventually prompting to headbutt it at the given of a bruise. He held himself and beat the window until it cracked, and then more, and more. He thought he was bleeding!

The window broke and Bryan climbed out, "This way!" he shouted to the others, unsteadily making his way across, and then diving into the water.

Quentin jumped when the boat lurched. He wasn't known for his reaction time, but that changed on the water. He could feel the ferry turning, slanting underneath him. He waited a second for it to even out. It didn't slant back. I'm going to die. Greeeeaaaat. Just when I had gotten over camp cancelling. He hissed and chuckled under his breath, then looked around to see what others were doing. Sophie is right beside me, and there are some others on deck who haven't noticed . . . Where's Noëlle?! He looked around frantically.

"Ready to take a dive?" Sophie dove into the water. Quentin wasn't sure what else to do but follow. He dove in.
