After not really doing anything else but schoolwork, Maria ate and went to bed.​

Lilly's eye twitched slightly at the words Little Girl but since the man was a casual stranger, she wasn't going to take it too heart as much. If it was someone she had known for a while she would have reacted a bit more, but she didn't even know this man's name. She wasn't sure if she was going to ask for it.​

"Um, I came out for some fresh air and um... decided to just play harmonica." She put the harmonica in her pocket and then tilted her head to the side, "What about you? You um, seem to be outside. If you aren't I'm um... terrified..."​

 

After walking around, Nathan eventually returned home and went to sleep.

 

The young blonde haired girl seemed to be rather curious about why Evan was all out and about when people should be just shut ins. He thought about it for a tad but then simply went on with what he knew to be true to himself. "Oh, well me? I'm out because it's a bright and cheery day, and I just couldn't pass the opportunity up to go grooving throughout the town."

"That sounds like fun... um, are there other people moving around?"

Thinking back on things he hadn't recalled seeing any one else on his way over here. And there certainly wans't anyone out here in the neighborhood. "Uh, well not often. Occasional passerby walker, but most people seem to make their trips as short as possible."

"I um, understand why but... unless they learn more about the disease I'm not um... worried... you know?"

Worry Schmurry. "Oh totally. It's not like a little unknown thing that ain't even in the air should bring all our spirits down. Though it does make moving around a lot easier with a less of a crowd out."

"Yeah... but my friends um... aren't allowed to go outside... so I've been um, alone."

What?! The little gal couldn't go and hang out with her friends? Especially in a time when school is out. Man this virus was trying to throw away all the benefits of being a condemned city for the youngsters. "Well, sounds like it sucks. Well you're free to hang out with me, if I'm "hip" enough for you young uns."

"You don't look that old at all... um... if you don't mind me asking..."

She seemed to trail off for a bit and didn't actually ask a question. So Evan just assumed she was going to ask how old he was."Well if you must know, I'm about 105 years old," to solidify this point of his age he simply pointed at his clearly silver hair. Stupid people thinking it was white. To even further emphasize this he didn't actually say anything for a few moments until he finally burst out laughing a bit and said, "nah, I'm just messing with you. I'm 23."

"23 isn't old... for a second I thought you were a wizard."

"Wizard of magic I'm not, but Wizard of rollerblading I'd like to think I am." He spun around a bit on his rollerblade to show off a bit.

"So you are a wizard. And um, what is your name Mr Wizard?"

Too easy to set up. to not try and joke with it. "Harry Po- haha, can't even say that with a straight face. Name's Evan Walker. And your own name would be?"

"Um, I'm Lilly, Lilly Connors."

He looked up at the now darkening sky and decided to get going back home. "Well its a pleasure to meet you Lil. Getting late though, so, be seeing you around on some other day. Later."

"Um, alright. Bye!"

He gave a wave to her as he rollerbladed off hearing her harmonica playing in the background. With the short little episode out of the way, Evan made it back home and simply laid down in bed and drifted off to the world of slumber.

 

Lilly waved Evan goodbye as she played the harmonica. After a while longer, she went inside. Later on she helped her mother with dinner, and watched walking dead with her brother Jack hiding next to her. She then finished up a small amount of homework before she got herself ready for bed and slept.

 

Not really knowing what to do with herself since her sister was already asleep and she herself couldn't sleep, Bianca lay in bed, wondering what Natalie was doing.

After drowning her sorrows in candy and snacks, Natalie went to bed, thinking of talking to her Alex tomorrow.

 

BEACH ADVENTURE FILLER ARC DAY: ONE​

A bead of sweat trickled it's way down Maria's forehead and into her eye. She wiped it away with the back of her hand and shifted uncomfortably on the bus seat. This ride seemed to take forever -- six hours. It was cool that they would all get to stay at some swanky beach resort, but at what cost? Her new haircut was frizzing out and the bus was hot and stuffy. Even with all the windows open, the breeze didn't seem to help much. It just make her short frizzy brown hair windblown as well. This was a bad start. The bus started to vibrate as they turned down a dirt road. Maria leaned into Evan, her bare shoulder bumping his t - shirt sleeve. ❝ It looks like we're almost there. About damn time. ❞​

❝ Oh come on. It's beach time Ria. Gotta go in with smiles when it comes to fun stuff. ❞ Evan was his usual chipper self, even when they were on that nasty bus for so long. Honestly, how any one person could always be so happy was beyond her.​

​

She pursed her lips and tugged at the short ends of her hair. ❝ But we've been sitting here forever and this bus is hot and gross and I look like hell. ❞ Maria wiped away some more sweat off her forehead and the back of her neck. At least without her long hair, she was probably ten degrees cooler than she would have been this time last year.​

​

He looked down at her. ❝ Nonsense, you look fine as ever. And besides, the heat should only make you that more pumped for the cool ocean breeze and the nice rolling water. ❞​

​

Maria rolled her eyes. ❝ Whatever you say. ❞ The trees began to part and the hotel started to take form in front of them. She breathed out in relief. Freedom. The bus slowed down and came to a lurching stop. Her back slammed into the faux leathery surface of the seat and her dress felt damp from the sweat. This was disgusting. Erik stood up from his seat near the front. He had been talking to Julius and some chick with long black hair that she had never seen before.​

❝ All right everyone, ❞ he started, ❝ we'll get off the bus here in a minute. If you need help unloading your luggage from the storage compartments underneath, just ask. When we get into the lobby, stay together and don't wander off until you get your room key. ❞ Erik named off the rooming assignment from a sheet he pulled out of his pocket before vacating the bus.​

They filed off the bus and gathered there luggage before heading into the hotel. Maria was definitely not a fan of her group. Well, that just meant she had more of a reason to not spend time in her room. Everyone she was remotely interested in hanging out with was in group one. Man, she really needed some female friends. Too bad Noëlle couldn't come with. They broke off into their groups after Erik and Julius handed out all the keys and she begrudgingly marched with her three companions up to her room. Maria dumped her suitcase on the floor and inspected the beds. ❝ I'm taking this bed. Lilly can share with me. ❞ She glanced over to the little girl and dropped her purse on the bed. ❝ I'm going to check out the pool. ❞ she said before immediately vacating the room.​

Seraphina was glad to finally get off of the bus. It was hot and she had been fanning herself. After they unloaded, she took a deep breath, knowing that this was going to be an awesome change from the stupid sickness days. Though she was dressed for the beach, she still looked like herself. Rich and Designer. Her red hair was standing out a lot in the sun, as were her blue eyes, which shone with purpose. She carried her Luggage, and then they all meet in the lobby. She straighten out her outfit.​

She shrugged. She knew the other girls in her group, but didn't really talk to them. She didn't get along with girls very well.To be fair, she didn't get along with anyone but Shane. She took a room key, and then went inside. She looked around. Seraphina was excited because she knew that Shane and her would have a lot of fun on this trip. This was the prefect time for them to hang out and just chill. Now, without Seraphina's sister or parents Seraphina could finally let loose. They would have to share beds. She put her suitcase down gently. She just smiled, hoping she could leave the room as soon as possible. She didn't want to be rude of course, so she waited till the bed situation would get sorted out. She said. She sat down on one of the beds.​

The turquoise teen held Ryder's hand firmly in hers as they filed out of the bus and walk towards the resort. She lifted up her sunnies to sit at the top of her head as she gasped out an excited, "Wow!"

The hotel they booked looked absolutely fantastic and she was just so so excited to be part of this getaway, especially after she had cleared things with her best friend Richie. She sat beside Ryder of course, but Richie took a seat next to them and quickly the two best friends filled the back seats of the bus with happy chatter. It probably annoyed Ryder but Elisa really tried to have him join in with the fun.

As they were about to split up into groups she looked at the two twins. She pouted slightly as she remembered that from their awesome, fantastic Golden Trio - she was the only one separated and not sharing a room with them. Sure, she understood the whole gender thing but the thought of not sleeping next to Ryder for the next couple days or so made her feel a little lonely. She squeezed his hand before letting go and grabbing some of her stuff that he offered to carry, "I'll see you guys later after I've settled in. Meet at the beach front, the lobby or something?" she giggled and after they agreed on a meeting place she gave Richie a quick hug and Ryder a quick peck on the cheek then hurried off towards her room, following after Seraphina.

She entered the room with a smile and looked at everyone. It was so nice to see Pierce part of her group! She hadn't spoken to her in a very long time. She was also excited about Seraphina - who she remembered vaguely from the musical in school. She seemed like a very nice girl - and who was super pretty and gorgeous too! The last one to join them was a new face in town. She was stunning as well, but in a very different way than Seraphina. She didn't know who she was but Elisa was happy to meet someone new.

"So, I guess we're all going to be roomies together! Hope I won't be too annoying." she giggled, then put her stuff towards the wall. Seraphina took a seat on one of the beds, so Elisa took a seat on the other one. "So, how are we going to share beds?"

Cel had been talked into going away to the beach, by her mother. Who was worried about her mental health and well being. She think it was healthy to be staying in the house all day and night. She had been on the bus, still dressed like she always was. All black. She hated showing this much skin. But it was hot. Very very hot. She felt her pink hair try to sweat off of her, then decided the first thing she was going to do, was go to the pool. She got her small suitcase, and then listened as groups were called.​

Group 4: Maria, Cel, Natalie, Lily.​

She didn't really care who she was roomed with. All she knew was, that she wasn't going to take any **** from these girls. One of the girls, Maria, announced she was sharing a bed with Lily, who was the youngest of them all, she had assumed. She sat on the other bed, putting her suitcase in front of it. "Well, I guess I'm stuck with you then. You're just a kid anyway, so it doesn't look like you're going to be a problem." Cel said, her voice dripping with a bitter sweet tone. She took out one of the bottles of Cupid's Brew she had in her suitcase. Luckily she had put them into separate bottles. A little bit, and then another little bit. So in case one broke, she would still have more. She put the bottle in her purse, and then gave a look to Nat. "You didn't see anything. Alright?" She made herself very very clear, then heading to the pool.​

Estelle smiled as they got off of the bus. She was glad she was on a vacation. It had been a hard time at home. With her best friend moving out and the others not approving of her actions. It was nice to get away from it all. The bus was nice and warm, and she was so excited. She stepped off the bus, and carried her suitcase. She sat her.. she saw Nat. It had been such a long time since she talked to her. She was just happy she would be rooming with some sort-of-knew-but-I-know-Them kind of people. She heard the names on the list. ​

Group 6: Estelle, Bianca, Whitney.​

She felt like fate had stabbed her in the back. How did THIS happen? Out of all of the people she could have been roomed with?! She sighed. Walking into her room, and claiming one of the beds. "Well ****." She thought to herself, then putting her suitcase down. "Listen, I don't care what you guys do on this trip. But not hold all of that crap against me like you did at home you got that?!" Estelle said hostility. "We might be rooming together, but we don't need to talk to each other. So just but out of what I do. And if either of you decide to blame all of this **** with Nat on Alex, and attack him for it, I will never forgive you." She left the room right away, waiting in the lobby for Alex. ​

The moment he got into the room after Erik, he sat down on their bed and pulled out his phone. It really upset him that Freya suddenly couldn't make it. They talked about it and Tucker was really game on going - especially since he really missed being active outdoors and whatnot but it seemed a little iffy on Freya's end. Though, for a long time before the actual trip it seemed like Freya was set on going and then suddenly two days before she wasn't. Tucker had already told Erik and the others he would be joining them and he didn't really want to back out again because that felt horrible the first time. So they spent the last two days before the trip together and had lots of fun. They took care of the animals in the shelter together, went out for movies and even cooked together.

He couldn't help but frown a bit as he looked down at her name on his phone. Unable to stand it, he quickly opened their conversation and typed in a message:

Just arrived at the resort. It's really nice. Wish you were here.​

Hope you're having a good time : )​

After hitting send he closed his phone and set it next to him on the bed. He looked up at the others with a smile, "I don't know about you guys but the heat in this place is scorching!" he pushed himself up from the bed and ran a hand through his dampened hair. "You guys can settle in, I'll unpack sometime later. I'm just going to check the pool and maybe go for a quick swim." with that, he grabbed a towel and waved to them happily and walked out of the room.

He figured it would be alright to leave, especially since they were room mates - they would be together, like what? More than half of the time the entire trip! Plus if they all unpacked at the same time it could get a little cramped since they were all grown men. He was also feeling a little upset about Freya not being around, so he didn't want to sour up the happy vacation with a bad mood. If he just had some time to cool off and embrace the outdoors he had always and forever will enjoy - then he would be ready to keep up with the joyous company.

The cherry haired man hummed a little tune as he walked through the decorative halls of the resort and with the help of the signs finally found himself at the pool. He couldn't help but grin as he saw the super clear waters of the enormous pool the resort had. He felt his mood improve already as he continued to look at it. He took a couple steps forward, then walked towards the beach chairs, claiming one of them and draping his towel over it.

He could almost feel the cold water touching his skin, but he simply had to take a seat first and respect the beauty of the resort. He leaned back into his chair as he watched some of the children run around the shallow parts of the pool while some teenagers played some water games and some adults did laps. He turned to his side and saw the life guard at a distance, watching over the people as well. Hm, he hoped there weren't too many rules around the place - especially about wearing the standardly accepted swimming attire. Some places had that. He very well enjoyed swimming with a shirt on, thank you.

Tucker began to scan the place if there were any signs of such rules posted on the walls when something else caught his eye. For a second he didn't recognize her at all, but when he remembered that she cut her hair and dyed it brown it came to him. Maria. Of all the people who could have showed up at the pool from their group, Maria stood there. He felt his body tense and knew that they had both seen each other. He forced a small smile then turned back to face the pool.

He could just run and jump into the pool. Maybe she wouldn't follow him... but then again what if the pool did have that crazy little rule? It would be pretty embarrassing to have the life guard blow his whistle at him or worse they might force him to take his shirt off which he really did not want. Er. Well, maybe Maria wouldn't go his way if he just sat there for a while? Yeah. Maybe. He gulped nervously, trying to fight the urge to quickly glance back at her and see what she would do next.

Pierce followed close behind Elisa. She was the only person she really knew well -- well was a bit of an overstatement -- in her rooming group. They had shared a few major experiences together and Pierce liked to believe that meant they were close, but they really weren't. It wasn't like they usually talked or anything. That trollish looking girl with the red hair opened the door to their room and sat down on one of the beds right away. Apparently she was staking claims to that one right off the bat.​

​

She cleared her throat and took a step closer to Elisa, setting her bag down at her feet. ❝ So, I guess we're all going to be roomies together! Hope I won't be too annoying. ❞ Elisa giggled, then put her stuff towards the wall. Elisa took a seat on the other bed. ❝ So, how are we going to share beds? ❞​

Some tall woman with long black hair that had been sitting with Erik on the bus walked in after them and dropped a leather backpack down on the floor by the couch. Pierce remembered Erik saying her name was Lennox. That was ... an interesting name. It was definitely one she had never heard before. ❝ I've got the couch, ❞ Lennox pointed her thumb at it. ❝ If I catch anyone touching my bag, they're dead. ❞ The woman seemed rather surly and unpleasant. She left the room immediately after and a chill ran down Pierce's spine.​

❝ Um ... I'll ah, ❞ she stammered, watching as Lennox disappeared out of the room, ❝ Elisa? ❞ The bluenette's name came out more shrill and high pitched than intended. She started to pick nervously at her fingernails before picking her bag up and setting it down on the bed Elisa had taken a seat on.​

Maria stood there in her dress, her hand held up to her forehead as a visor. The sun was beating down on her shoulders and the back of her neck. It wouldn't take long for her to sunburn with the way her fair skin typically worked. She was watching everyone in the pool, a bit envious. Whenever she went swimming, it involved standing in the shallow end with all the children. She never went anywhere she couldn't touch and ever since the ferry accident, she didn't like stripping down to just her bathing suit. The long scar from the broken window ran from the middle of her ribcage down to her hip. Kids always pointed fingers and asked questions. Adults would glance at it before giving her a 'poor baby' look and moving away. It made intimate relationships awkward as well because the phantom pains usually got her pretty good on contact. It was just so long and nasty on her side that she preferred to have it covered. She would probably not do much swimming while they were here.​

​

She had been debating slipping off her wedges and dipping her feet in when a familiar face caught her attention. Not to far away was Tucker sitting down in one of the pool chairs. Her heart somersaulted in her chest. Freya wasn't here, but that still didn't change the way things were between them. They never talked. He seemed to be okay with not being friends anymore. That voice mail she left him months ago was the last real thing she had said to him and he never responded. Seeing him there alone was painful. Maria ripped her gaze away. She really didn't know what to do now. Tucker had clearly come out here to swim, he even brought a towel with. She had no intentions on swimming. The very idea made her want to both laugh and cry. After drowning once and almost drowning a second time, she had her fill on water experiences. Maybe she should just walk away and go sit down at the beach.​

​

There was a lump in her throat that she swallowed down. Her legs were feeling shaky as she stood near the edge of the water. They could share the pool just fine without having to interact. Her blue eyes dropped to the little tile reading 8'. This was the deep end of the pool. It was a good thing she wasn't going in, although knowing Tucker was less than a hundred feet away in his trunks and t - shirt made her knees quake. How many times had she sat out at the lake at camp and watched him do water activities from the dock? She was the only camper and counselor that never went swimming.​

​

Maria started to take off one of her wedges. She lifted her foot up off the ground and began to undo the strap buckles. There was the pitter patter of wet footsteps from running children behind her when suddenly she felt a small body bump into her. It would have been no big deal when the boy said, ❝ Oops, ❞ if it hadn't been for the fact that her other foot slipped and she was sent forward, into the water. A scream escaped her before the loud splash of her body hitting the water drowned out all the noise. Maria swallowed water and flailed her arms in the clear liquid. Her eyes opened in a panic and the chlorine burned her eyeballs. Bubbles of air floated up in front of her face and she struggled in the water. It was happening again. This was exactly why she hated swimming. Maria felt dizzy as the oxygen left her body.​

 

Oh yeah! It was time. Not just any time though. It was beeeeaaacccchhhh tiiiiiiiimmmmeeeeee! Evan was liked super stoked for this so much since he had found out about their little gang all getting together and going on some crazy nice beach vacation time. Oh man! Evan did like the beach and fun in the sun concept. And seeing as he only came into existence in the winter and the only other spring break period he was there for he died, this would be his first chance to live it up. He just hoped no massive plague would come around and shut the whole place down because boy would that be a bummer. The ride to the place had been admittedly long, and the weather was pretty much blazing on the bus ride, but he just counted all that heat as a metaphor for how much energy was going to be burned on this trip to the beach. Evan stretched his arms out as he stepped off the bus and let out a hearty "woohoo~." With that out of the way he began to go walk around with the rest of the gang and go to his respective room.

Once there he realized that he was rooming with all his good buds. Between Boss Man, Professor and Cherry Red there was sure to be fun times a had here on this beach trip. Especially drunken story telling and just plain old drunk activities in general. He could always count on these guys to bring the party drinker out in him. Though that would have to wait for later since Cherry Red seemed to be already wanting to go to the pool for his own fun time. There was a go getter of fun if Evan ever saw one. Evan had to follow suit as such he threw his shirt off and took off his shorts to reveal that he was wearing a swimsuit all along. One must always be prepared to go and get in the water on these trips. Going through the bag of stuff that he brought he pulled out a towel and a pair of sunglasses. "Well I'm gonna be going down to the beach after all the," he put on his sunglasses, "the early seagull catches the bread crumbs."

After whatever it was he had said, Evan ended up running himself all the way down to the beach and flung his towel out so that he could lay on it. Was he going to lay on it. Not at all at the moment. But it was proper beach goer protocol to have a towel used solely for laying on, and who was Evan to not follow that? Evan ended up pulling off his sunglasses and putting them underneath the towel, buried in a protective layer of sand so no foot would trample them and no glasses thief could get to them. With that, Evan did the only thing left he could. Jump in the water and splash free!

Strings were pulled and Julius had managed to new the group a fabulous trip that they could enjoy for quite a while. The weather was amazing and what better way to celebrate it then a trip to the beach! It was a shame that Jonathan couldn't come with them but the boy was quite adamant about his independence and the fact that Julius was leaving made it a perfect test for him to see if he could handle himself. There were quite a few people he really didn't know fully, but he really didn't care too much as he really wouldn't pay much attention unless need be.

The bus ride was quite the long one and quite frankly Julius was a bit worried his long hair might get frizzy from all the heat inside the bus. Him and Erik were the ones who had begun to organize things and it wouldn't be a stretch to say that they were in charge. The groups were read out and a mere mischievous smirk had crept up on the man's face as he heard the first group being called out. Whether he tampered with the grouping a bit or not was unknown.

With this trip on the way, it was quite impossible for him to be avoiding Lennox so in the end the two would be seeing each other alot, whether crazy or not. He really didn't mind about this but usually shenanigans always followed him so he figured things would. The time at the bar had not escaped his mind and in all honesty if he was going to die it would be from that girl's surprises. Women were just too much work...

The man let out a loud sigh as the bus had come to a stop and the people were out. With everything set out Julius walked out and let out a loud relaxing sigh as he took off his jacket and remained in his sleeveless shirt. He came all this way and he sure as hell was not going to stay indoors when the weather was nice. When he thought about it he never really took the time to relax like this.

He gripped the arms of the chair he was sitting on tightly. She probably wouldn't come over right? She wasn't just going to stand there and do nothing. Heh. What a hypocrite he was. That's exactly what he was doing but sitting! His stomach was up in knots. He just wanted a good swim with this beach heat. It would have been totally fine but no, Maria suddenly appeared.

Their friendship really dwindled down to nothing and he really, really, really wished that it didn't but he felt incredibly betrayed. He didn't do anything - or rather, didn't think he did anything to receive that horrid voice mail that informed him that they were no longer friends. She, along with Erik and Sean, were probably the only people he would ever have no problem opening up to and then out of the blue something happened to them and every time he saw her he would just get more and more reminded of that. It beat him up a lot inside.

So much for getting rid of a horrid mood. His eyebrows furrowed together. Maybe, maybe he could just ignore her! Maybe that would help him out a bit because he really was trying to just have a good time at the pool and maybe he should! So what if she was there? There were a bunch of other people around, sharing the pool too! Right! He could stay in one end and she could stay wherever she wanted. Heck, perhaps she went away.

Tucker, after a deep breath, turned back to where he had spotted Maria. Still expecting her to be standing there, he was quite caught off guard to realize she had disappeared. Aha! Maybe she did leave! A small sigh of relief escaped him and then h-

A loud shriek echoed through the pool area. His head immediately turned to where it was coming from and he spotted a girl falling into the pool. Even as it happened very quickly, he recognized the girl to be Maria - spotting her short brown locks and the dress he spotted her in. A child was running the opposite direction, ah, probably just bumped her. He shook his head slightly with a small laugh, remembering how clumsy that girl could be sometimes.

No one in the pool area seemed to be alarmed by a tall, young adult falling into the pool but that's when Tucker's breathing halted suddenly. Maria fell into the pool. Maria. Flashbacks of the time they spent as camp counselors together ran into his head. Maria wasn't seen during the ferry sinking before - only spotted after in the clinic in a pretty rough state. She also never joined in on the water activities during the years after - and he remembered why: She couldn't swim.

His chestnut eyes immediately darted at the 8 feet sign of the pool. Of course, she was at the deepest end. Without any hesitation about all the thoughts in his head just moments ago or about the existing or non-existing rules of the pool area, he pushed himself forward out of his chair and into a sprint. He ran until he was close to the eight foot mark and then dove into the water.

The water was cold and incredibly refreshing but that didn't matter right now. He opened his eyes underwater, the chlorine stung only a bit but despite his blurred vision he could see Maria's body sinking to the bottom as she struggled. Her arms flailed about and it looked like she was attempting to swim back up but really just didn't know how. He swam faster and when he was close enough, he reached for her wrist with his left hand and pulled her closer to him then wrapped his right arm around her waist. He kicked off from the floor and swam all the way up to the surface quickly. He could see the surface getting close and closer and closer then,

finally! The sunlight beat down on their faces without the protection of the cool waters and air filled his lungs. He gasped and continued to move his legs to make sure they stayed afloat. He took a couple heavy breaths as Maria coughed and fought for some air for herself. He looked at her, still breathing heavily, "What were you- what were you thinking? Are you okay? Maria you have to be careful you know you can't swim!" As he spoke, or rather half-yelled, he let go of her wrist, kept the arm around her waist and slowly tried to get them towards the steps they could use to get out of the pool together. He couldn't help but get mad at her a bit and it was probably not right of him to do but with all that tense and awkward emotion between them he kind of just cracked.

LENNOX walked out the patio doors of the hut and into the sun. She pulled her long black hair into a bun and flipped down her shades to cover her eyes. Erik was sharing a room with Tucker and Julius and some Evan kid. She was pretty jealous. Tucker was cool most of the time and well, Julius was there. She made her way over to their room, only to find Erik in there alone. ⌈ Where did everybody go? ⌋ she asked her brother.​

⌈ Tucker went to the pool. Evan and Julius both went to the beach I think. ⌋ he said while unpacking. His back was to her and she watched the muscles in his neck tighten as he bent down. ⌈ Stay away from Julius. He doesn't need your -- ⌋​

⌈ You're not the boss of me and you're certainly not the boss of Julius. I think I'm old enough to decide who I want to spend my free time with, ⌋ she snapped on him before exiting the hut. How dare he. Did Erik honestly believe he could go around telling her whom she was allowed to hang out with? He was such a stuck up jerk most of the time. She was taking her pills. It wasn't like she was going to start the resort on fire. [ ... ]​

Lennox marched her way down to the beach and immediately spotted the energetic white - haired guy Erik had referred to as Evan. He seemed pretty cool. She fiddled with the belt loops on her shorts. Her bikini was on underneath her clothes. Lennox didn't bother bringing a towel with her. She didn't mind getting dry the natural way and letting it all air out. It seemed to take her a little longer than she hoped to spot Julius. He had on a cutoff sleeved t - shirt and his shorts. His eye patch was in its usual place on his face and his long brown hair seemed to flow like willow branches in a gentle breeze. She sighed before cutting right and heading over to him.​

⌈ Julius, ⌋ she waved with a bright - eyed smile. ⌈ I was hoping I'd find you down here. Are you going to go for a dip in the water, or are you looking for a boat to commandeer? ⌋ she asked playfully.​

❝ I've got the couch, If I catch anyone touching my bag, they're dead. ❞

Elisa's mouth remained completely shut as Lennox spoke and quickly left - in fact, her breathing stopped. Wow. Her attitude was as tough as her looks - it really matched and for some odd reason, she kind of really admired it too. She was always into that grungy type of thing going on - she was just never cool enough to pull it off. Hah.

She gulped and exhaled as the ivory haired woman walked out of the room. Her bright blue eyes traveled to the black leather bag that Lennox dumped by the couch. She made a mental note to never touch the bag that lay there. In fact, to stay away from it as much as she could.

❝ Um ... I'll ah, Elisa? ❞

Her head turned towards the brown haired teen who took a seat by her bed. She smiled brightly at her,"Hooray!" she was happy that she didn't have to sleep alone. Of course, Pierce was definitely not Ryder - in fact, not even the closest proximity to him - but she would rather sleep beside her than make that pillow dummy of her boyfriend again. She excitedly sat beside her sleeping buddy, "Just so you know I might cuddle up. If you're not cool with that just tell me and I will restrain myself with all my might!" Of course she hoped Pierce wouldn't mind at all but it was only polite to say.

She turned to Seraphina, "You can have that bed all to yourself. I hope that's fine with you?" she couldn't help but stare at her long, red locks as she spoke to her. They were very beautiful. She was sure her blue hair was a mess after that long and hot car ride but the girl across her seemed very photo ready!

Elisa, still with the energy she's had all day long, jumped up from the bed and onto her feet. "Anyway, I have to go too! I promised I would meet Ryder and Richie at the beach. I'll fix my stuff later, Pierce just leave some space for me but I'll be fine with anything!" She quickly pulled the thin blouse off from her head and shimmied out of her shorts, revealing the super cute floral/tribal bikini she was already wearing underneath. She bent down to grab her light blue towel and draped that over her shoulder before putting her sunhat on her head. She placed her sunglasses back over her eyes and turned to the two girls left in their room and with an excited wave she said, "See you guys later!"

She ran straight out into the beach - which was too beautiful for words! Oh how she missed the beach. She took her slippers off and walked through the hot sand, trying to look out for the twins but they didn't seem to be there yet. From where she stood she could already see some familiar faces! The mysterious girl from her room was there along with Julius and she could spot the light reflecting off from Evan's white hair in a distance who was already enjoying the water!

She couldn't help but feel jealous. She wanted to swim too! She looked around once more, hoping the twins would appear but they still weren't around. Getting a little taste of the water without them shouldn't be too bad, right? She began to run down the shore, already taking off her hat and her sunnies. She quickly dropped the towel on the dry sand, placed her sunglasses and her hat on top then kicked off her slippers and ran towards the water.

It tickled her legs as the water splashed around as she ran. She could see Evan near by and she waved at him excitedly before diving forward to feel the water all over her body. She resurfaced and ran her hands through her wet hair, giving it a shake. She grinned brightly, then turned back to the shore. Finally, the twins were there. She jumped up and down, waving her arms around with even more energy than before,"RYDER! RICHIE! OVER HERE!"

 

BEACH ADVENTURE FILLER ARC DAY: ONE​

Maria felt a tugging at her wrist but she couldn't open her eyes anymore. Water rushed past her until they broke the surface and she immediately began coughing up water and gasping for air. There was an arm around her waist and she was pressed in close to another body. She wiped the water out of her eyes and had to blink a few times before her vision cleared. When she realized it was Tucker's body pressed up against hers, and his face was closer than it had been in months, it felt like the air had been sucked out of her a second time in a matter of heartbeats. He looked at her, still breathing heavily, ❝ What were you- what were you thinking? Are you okay? Maria you have to be careful you know you can't swim! ❞ As he spoke, or rather half-yelled, he let go of her wrist, kept the arm around her waist and slowly tried to get them towards the steps they could use to get out of the pool together.​

She swallowed, her voice caught in her throat. Was he - was he mad at her? What gave him the right to be mad at her? It wasn't like she knocked him into the pool. He didn't even have to come save her. There was a lifeguard after all. It honestly made her a little pissed off. This was the third time she almost drowned to death. It was both embarrassing and depressing. Maria couldn't get anywhere near water without an accident. Some of the resentment she had been holding onto for months seemed to bubble up into her voice. ❝ I'm fine. I am very well aware of the fact that I can't swim Tucker. ❞ If it wasn't for the fact that he was the only thing keeping her from sinking right now, she would have pushed away from him as quickly as possible. ❝ It wasn't like I was trying to go for a swim. I was taking my shoes off to stick my feet in when the kid knocked me over. ❞​

This was really distracting for her. It had been months since they were this close and she just wanted to tilt her head forward and wrap her arms tight around his wet body and press her cheek to his chest, but in reality, she had her hands on his shoulders and was leaning as far away from him as she possibly could. They didn't talk to one another anymore and he was dating that damn kid. Maria sucked in a deep breath and exhaled slowly. ❝ Thank you for saving me. ❞ He got them to the stairs and she climbed out first, taking a seat at the edge of the pool. Her dress was soaked, along with her wedges. She was pretty sure her makeup was running down her face and her hair was most likely a huge mess. When he took a seat next to her, there was a flutter in her chest that ached in remembrance.​

❝ It's your fault, ya' know, ❞ she mumbled to herself before lifting her gaze to meet his chestnut eyes. ❝ If you hadn't been sitting there staring at me, I wouldn't have been so distracted. Why were you staring? ❞ It made the aching in her chest her one thousand times more by asking that. He was probably staring because he didn't want to be in the same vicinity as her. That seemed to be proven pretty well when they were at Erik's not too long ago. She missed his lingering gaze -- the way his chestnut eyes would always seem to find her. That never happened anymore unless he was with Freya and he somehow managed to catch a glimpse of her before heading in the other direction. This was as much his fault as it was hers.​

His mind was at ease and he just enjoyed the nice relaxing warmth of the sun. It was moments like this that Julius could only think about why his life was so stressful. Why couldn't life be like this? why couldn't it be so stress free and peaceful. Could he truly believe that this trip would be peaceful? who knew what conflicts would occur in this time of season and knowing his past experiences, they would be pretty annoying conflicts.

A familiar voice had caught his attention and Julius' eye immediately opened as he stared over at Lennox. Their confrontation against each other was inevitable, so there was nothing he could do but take his time and enjoy the moment. His eye widened for a second upon noticing just what she wore, but it passed instantly. He always liked that bright smile of her's and in response Julius could only wave his hand with a soft smile as she head over to him. "Hmm to commandeer a ship or to swim...the answer should be clear, but why don't we save the best idea for last" Julius said with smile before taking off his shirt.

Kicking off his shoes and socks, Julius crossed his arms and smirked "I've been meaning to swim, was just needing some company to join me after all" Julius said. In all honesty he really was looking for company and so long as it wasn't Cel he was quite fine....Lennox just seemed to be a big bonus. Closing his eyes, Julius merely took off the eyepatch covering the eye and placed it with the other clothes he took off. The once covered eye remained closed, refusing to open despite being revealed. The shorts he wore were good enough so he was ready.

"Well then, lets not stand around, the seas call!" Julius said closing his eyes with a childish grin before grabbing Lennox's hand and ran off with her to the water. The cool refreshing feeling of water hitting his feet felt nice and more and more he just kept on enjoying his trip. He felt like a little kid and it just made him realize how much he missed out.
