Natalie woke up fairly late. She was still in an angsty mood, but she wanted to hang out with Estelle. She got up to see Estelle had left again, so she sent out a quick text:

    To: Estelle
    From: Natalie
Message: Esty, you want to hang out today? I know we got in a bad spot yesterday, but I wanted to make it up to you. Let me know soon, okay?

She glanced at it. It seemed friendly enough, so she hit send.

    Moments later, her phone rang. It was Alex, asking to hang out again. Talk about rough timing. She still hadn't gotten a reply from Estelle. She replied;

-Not sure, talking to Estelle about maybe hanging out today. You caught me just as I texted her Hun. If she says no, then we can just blow her off and have a good time alone, right?-

That seemed normal enough, so she sent that reply back to him. Today already looked better than yesterday.

"Thanks for coming over. And please, do not worry about yesterday. Family matters are always top priority. I see Ms. Natalie had other plans... or perhaps she doesn't want to patch things up... I understand if she doesn't. Please come in Estelle. Make yourself at home."
Estelle smiled, coming into the house. She sat down. "I see you're reading a Manga." Estelle said, pointing at the book. "That Reminds me, I have something to show you." Estelle smiled. Estelle dug through her purse, then finding a special binder. She put her purse down on floor beside her.
"Here. This is one of the first drawings I did. When I was learning how to draw Manga." Estelle said, giving it to her to take a look. "If you like it, You can keep it if you want. You obviously like Manga very much. Sooo consider it a gift." Estelle said smiling at her friend. Though Estelle was still drained from the other night. She didn't feel as sore, but she knew her eyes were dull. She wished she could check on herself, to make sure she had her usual sparkle. She didn't want to worry Alex.
She realized how little she knew about her. Though they had been instant friends. She didn't exactly know much. But did friends really have to know everything about each other? Some stuff was better kept private of course. But would not knowing your friends favorite colour mean that you're not really as close as you think. Or is it the deeper conversations that really mean more? She thought about the question to herself. She just decided that she wouldn't dwell on it. "Soooo do you want to talk about anything?" Estelle asked her, still a cheery look on her face.

Alex grabbed the binder and began to look through the pictures. If these were her first then she really needed to think about getting into major publishing. They were good. She probably had even better material now after years of experience.

Alex set it down and took Estelle's hand. "I really appreciate you trying to be so nice, but this is too much. These are memories of your past. Drawings that reflect who you were back when. I don't wish to take that from you." Alex gave a light smile as the words were spoken. "It is like with my drawings. They are something I cherish. I can only recall the memories by viewing them. Its like a retelling of my past. I can remember what I was feeling, who I was by looking into them." Alex handed Estelle her drawing book. It was a collections of all the drawings Alex had made over the years. From pain to happiness.

"Sorry. I shouldn't patronize you for what I believe in. But I must decline the offer." Alex then tried to think about something for the two of them to talk about. That was a different kind of speach that may turn her away completely. Nonetheless, it didn't hurt to try something. Alex did know very little about Estelle. Maybe it was time to ask her what her views were in romance. Or if she even had a boyfriend/ girlfriend. "So... I was wondering... Has anyone called out to you? Any guys or girls you interested in?"

Estelle was caught off guard by what Alex said about her drawings. She smiled though. She put them back into her purse. "How wise for someone her age." Estelle thought to herself. That was one of the most beautiful things she had ever heard.
"So... I was wondering... Has anyone called out to you? Any guys or girls you interested in?"
Estelle was aghast. "I umm.. well... I." Estelle stuttered. "I was afraid that was going to happen." Estelle thought. "What do I say? I can't tell her that- She's just a young girl she won't..." Estelle thought. She didn't want to scare her. She had just moved here after all, stuff like that would terrify. She sighed.
"Well... um... you see...I..." Estelle looked down at the floor for a little while. "No one has really um... taken interest in me though... So... I guess it hadn't mattered." Estelle started "Erg... no. I've never dated anyone... I... erg... I find that I'm- erg.. very uncomfortable around boys. Other then Nat's Boyfriend of course. I-I guess I never found the time. If they come into the shop or otherwise.... Like with Leon the other day... I go into a panic" Estelle explained.

Well that was bad. Estelle was completely flustered by the question Alex proposed. After that... I cant tell her now... Alex looked over at her and tried to react surprised. "I didn't know that. You are so pretty though so I always thought the boys would be at your doorstep." Alex said with a smile trying to cheer her up.

Alex was curious though. Why was Estelle so "Erg"ed by this topic. It had to be asked. "Why are you so... scared of them...? Did something happen to you back in your past to make you fear them so much?" That was all that could really be asked. Alex didn't know of course.

"You don't need to tell me if its too painful... I understand." Alex did understand. There was a past hidden in everyone. Some things people just didn't need to know.

Estelle's heart stopped for a second as she cringed. She could feel her face getting warmer, and a hot tear fell on her shaky hands. "I-" Her voice caught, she trembled. She couldn't look at her. She held her head down and she looked away. "I-I'm not, I mean." Estelle closed her eyes and tried to forget the question was asked. "Just-Just some things in highschool." She said, running out of breath.
"It's-it shouldn't um... you shouldn't... I mean... you're a young kid it..." She looked back up, still her eyes watery. "It doesn't really... um... It's better some things, left unsaid... unheard." She finally spat out. "I-I'm sorry." She said, looking away from her again. Her heart was pounding, and her face was cold and warm and tears were hot. She wasn't sure what she would do now. She wanted to run away.

As originally thought, Estelle was too afraid of what happened to tell Alex. She must have had something devestating happen to her. It didn't matter. A secret was a secret. It wasn't up to Alex to make Estelle tell. It was wrong. The only thing that could be done now was to comfort her. Estelle was crying and needed someone right now. It must have been a painful experience to force her into tears.

Alex sighed and stood up. Walking behind Estelle, Allex held onto Estelle and held her tight. "I'm sorry for bringing it up. I didn't know this would be so painful for you. I'm here for you as your friend. You don't need to tell me. I promise its okay." Alex whispered to her in a soft voice. It was the best that could be done to help comfort Estelle right now. Hopefully it was successful.

The young gentleman had waited at the door for what felt like an eternity. Oh how time seemed to come to a grinding halt as his heart sailed through his chest. It could not have taken more than a few seconds from the time he knocked to the that she had answered the door, but the mind had a funny way of perceiving reality sometimes. When she had answered the door his nervousness dissolved into nothing less than bliss. Her face had bore a smile on its face, though it looked as if it was one formed of nerves. Though the young man had known of this girls rather crippling shyness when it came to interacting with others, so the sheer fact that she was putting in an effort to look happy towards him, oh it was enough to kill him with happiness. "Hi, Rian. Glad you could come. Studying should ah, be fun. "

"Why yes, I do believe it will prove to be." Oh how he had been awaiting for this day to come and now that it was here it felt slightly surreal. Nevertheless he ended up stepping through the door, which she so graciously let him through, he took in the place he was now inside.

"You can take your shoes off here and we'll um ... We'll be in the living room. I made snacks!" As such the two of them made it through her kitchen area into her living room. It was quite the different decorum than what he was expecting from his delicate female companion, though it still seemed quite the lovely place to live. Well it could have looked like a cave and he would have thought its appearance was equally as beautiful as the female who lived in it. "So um, yeah here we are." Miss Pierce gestured to the room and took a seat down on the couch in front of her laptop. "Um, have a seat. There's ah, sandwiches and juice."

"Why thank you Miss Pierce." As instructed to, the young gentleman sat down near the young Miss, though not uncomfortably so. He then pulled out his own laptop and begun to turn the piece of hardware on. While he was waiting, he thought of what to say next. Truthfully he could have sat in silence for the entirety of the time they were to spend together and be fully content with his day. However, that would most definitely defeat the purpose of such a visit and as such he turned to there. "Now then, do you require any assistance in any of your subjects at the moment. I believe you said something about Algebra being a rough patch the other day? If so I would be more than willing to start with that with you. Unless of course you had some other course planned first to work on."

Estelle felt Alex's warm arms around her. Now she couldn't help but smile a little bit. She wiped away her tears. "It's not your fault." She said, putting her own arms around her.
"You didn't know a single question would've caused so much fuss." Estelle said. "I should be the one who's sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." Estelle said, laughing a little bit. She thought of something else she could say, she wanted to get her mind on the scars that had been brought back to the surface again. She put a smile on her face, then went back to her cheery self.
"How about you? Did you have a boyfriend when you lived back with your parents?" Estelle said, parting from the hug. "I bet all of them would be after you, such a cute little girl." Estelle said, starting to laugh. "Hehe Sorry. I know Nat hates it when I do that. You're only a couple years younger then me, but still I call you little." Estelle started to giggle, blushing slightly. "But look at you, you're adorable." Estelle said cheerfully.

'CAUSE I'm knock, knock, knocking on Heaven's door ... ⌋ Lennox pulled the leather gloves on over her hands and strapped the wrists tight. She hummed the song to herself and straddled her bike. Her long black hair was tied back into a bun and she pressed her glossed lips together. There was no choice but to finally show her face today. Six months -- it took six months for her to work up the courage to contact her brother and tell him she was back in town. The bike started up and roared to life. Its engine purred loudly and a smile tugged at the corners of her lips. This would be interesting. She wasn't one of her brother's favorite people. In fact, none of their family was. Nothing but an embarrassment. Her hand twisted the gas and the engine revved. Lennox set her feet on the footrests and the bike surged forward.

She weaved through the streets of Candlewood headed straight for his apartment. It was so eerie dead these days. The last couple months had been getting progressively worse for the county. This quarantine was absolutely bonkers -- herk, which she knew a lot about. The roads were practically empty on her drive there. Wind blew through her hair. Her vision was tinted dark from her sunglasses. Lennox passed a total of six cars on her way there. This city wasn't lively anymore. It was dead and listless. It felt like it was sucking the life right out of her. She couldn't work. The club was in the next county over and a normal job just seemed to overrated.

Lennox pulled into the parking and killed the engine. She kicked down the kickstand and let the bike lull to the side before swinging her leg off and stretching out. Her hand lifted up to her hair and ripped out the hair binder tying back the locks. She marched to the door and pressed the buzzer. There was a moments delay before the front door clicked and she was able to walk in. Lennox made her way up to the fourth floor and knocked on the door she was oh so familiar with. Her fingers curled into a fist and she swung her hand at the door, connecting with nothing but air.

What are you doing here? ⌋ Erik's unpleasant frown greeted her in the doorway and she dropped her hand to her side. He loomed in the doorway, resting his elbow on the frame. Erik blocked her way into the apartment and she glowered at him.

What do you think? I'm here to see my big bro. Now let me in. ⌋ She narrowed her bright blue eyes at him and cocked her head. Erik stood there for a minute longer before groaning and moving out of the way. Lennox sauntered in and he shut the door behind her.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Erik was clearly not pleased to have his baby sis over and their talk was even worse. Lennox made herself at home on his couch and he looked pissed, pacing around the living room. ⌈ So you are telling me, that your job as a 'dancer' -- ⌋ he made air quotes, ⌈ has been put on hold because of the quarantine. You are getting evicted from the apartment you never told me you had and you've been in town for six months? ⌋ He licked his lips and came to a stop in front of her. ⌈ Is there anything else?

Lennox leaned back and kicked her feet up onto the coffee table. She folded her hands behind her head and looked up at him with a smirk on her face. ⌈ Well I need a place to stay. I can't go back to ma and dad's because ya' know, quarantine and all. My job is outside the county line.

Erik shook his head and threw a blanket at her. ⌈ You're gonna find a new job. You can't be doing that. It's degrading and disgusting.

Tch. I liked my job. It was - it was energizing. You can't tell me what to do. ⌋ She glowered at him.

I can, and I will. I'm older than you and if you want to live with me then you're going to have to do what I say. You're going to find a new job. ⌋ Erik groaned and pulled out his phone. He moved across the room and came to a stop in front of his window. He sighed and waited a minute before speaking into the receiver. Lennox leaned forward to hear better. ⌈ Hey Tuck, I've got a bit of a situation over here ...

    Sniper, you should your own.
Well... were they wearing the party hat?
No I was not wearing the fucking party hat.
Well um... I can't tell if you are the blue scavenger or the yellow scavenger if you don't have the party hat on!
Although it was the middle of the day, hidden in the shadows of a dark bedroom, with the blinds shut and the only light visible was being produced by the television, was a little thirteen year old girl with a headset on and a fire in her eyes. Her FPS team was trying to get somewhere, but even though she was second in command, there were still people who continued to play without listening to her.
She needed the party hats to be able to tell if they were on her team, she couldn't tell just by seeing yellow or blue, because she couldn't. When her team took them off, it opened them up to friendly fire. And Lilly Connors was a ruthless sniper.
    Um...where are you messenger?
    Near where scavenger was shot.
Lilly scrolled about with her remote and found the marked flag where the death was, and saw a messenger with no hat on.

Are you wearing the um... party hat?
    Nope.
Please put it on unless you um...want me to shoot you.
I'm not respawning for that stupid reason. I'll lose experience points.
Lilly aimed the gun at the messenger's head and fired away.
YOU SHOT ME, FUCK YOU, YOU LITTLE CUNT.
PUT ON THE GODDAMN PARTY HAT.
After a few minutes, her FPS team still managed to win with 5 more kills.
I have to go to work now.
I just got out of school so I mean...
I'll worry about my classwork later... I kind of want to go outside.
Sniper... aren't you in Percival County?
    um...No...
You aren't? You were talking about the quarantine for HOURS the other day.
    So?
    Be careful Snipe.
Lilly rolled her eyes as she shut off the game and opened up the curtain. She almost wanted to hiss at the sunlight but refrained from doing so. It hurt her head like hell, but she was expecting as much. She put on one of her only three sweatshirts, and tried to figure out what she wanted to do.
She had to sneak out, first off, her mother was not fond of her going outside. None of her friend's parents were. She rarely saw any of her friends anymore with the quarantine because their parents freaked out so much over it. Lilly figured it was a good thing she got along well with her parents and they trusted her enough to take care of herself. But her mother was still not fond of her leaving the house during this whole dilemma.
People were dying after all, and that scared her. But she knew she wasn't going to die from this disease, she was going to die in some super amazing way that would make her remembered for generations... even if that meant she would just die of old age with enough stories to pass throughout generations.
Actually... maybe I should go skateboarding...
Lilly grabbed her wallet, her house key, a pack of gum, and her skateboard(with her helmet), and left her room. As she snuck out the back door, she clipped on her helmet and adjusted it, then made her way to the skatepark.
When she got there, no one was around. Which saddened her a bit, but at least no one would see her horribly fail at anything. She was pretty good at general tricks but she could never Ollie. It irritated her, because it seemed like the simplest one, but she couldn't get it.
She spend a good 20 minutes at the park, doing aerials until she decided to attempt and Ollie after warming up. Instead of landing the trick, she found her face meeting the pavement. But she quickly got back up off the ground and tried it again.
She just kept falling and failing.

Ryder had been sitting under a big oak tree in the park with Elisa eating lunch. Having a picnic was pretty much the only way he could coax her out of the house for an hour or two. It wasn't exactly his idea of fun,but she thought was romantic and sweet and it wasn't so bad. At least he was finally getting some fresh air. His blue eyes lingered on the skate park from their spot under the tree. All that concrete and metal was just calling his name. He was itching to grind on his board for a bit, but he promised not to abandon her until after they ate. There was only one other person in this area of the park -- some little blond girl about his sister's age. E used to see her here quite a bit and admired her determination. Ryder always secretly wished his kid sister had taken more of a liking to his interests. He watched the girl -- Lila? -- struggle with her Ollies and remembered a time when that used to be him. Ryder always respected girls with the determination to skateboard. Elisa didn't skateboard, but she was trying for him. Teaching her has been both frustrating and rewarding at the same time.

Ryder watched Lila fall for like the billionth time when he subconsciously rose to his feet. He hesitated for a minute, glancing back down at Elisa who smiled and gave him the go ahead. He knelt down, giving her a kiss on the forehead, before picking up his board and walking over to the girl. At this rate, she could get skinned up pretty bad. Normally he wouldn't care about a few scraped knees, but with this disease lingering, a few scraped knees could potentially lead to death.

Ryder cleared his throat as he approached her and gave a half way. "Hey uh, Lila right?" He came to a stop in front of her and she corrected him. "Lily, sorry. My bad. I was watching you from the tree over there," he pointed back to Elisa who waved and he smiled at her, "and I couldn't help but notice you struggling with the Ollies. Normally I'd just let someone toughen through it,but with this whole disease thing I thought maybe I'd offer to help?" Ryder rubbed the back of his head. He wasn't the best teacher. The many skateboarding lessons with Elisa could attest to that. "What do you say?" He waited a minute for her reply and smiled a little when she said yes.

"Cool, cool." His crooked grin broadened when he dropped his own board to the ground. Ryder first demonstrated what a proper Olly looked like, then told her to copy what he did. It didn't go so well and he stepped around her. "Here, you're not distributing your weight correctly. You need to be more balanced." He held her elbows in an attempt to even out her weight on the side of the board. "Then you just jump like this and you're golden." He walked her through it step by step until she half managed an Olly. At least she didn't fall that time. "It's getting better."

The girl had bought the lie and as Julius opened his eye he watched as the girl left their table and Julius closed his eye with a relieved sigh "thank god that is over" Julius said quietly as he leaned back against his chair. The girl really liked to babble on, but at least from that he could tell she was a student at Fortissimo. Whether she was trying to show off or not was something Julius really didn't want to think about because he really didn't want to think what was going in her mind. Opening an eye he noticed a quite amused Jonathan. "Well you got a good kick out of that conversation now didn't you" Jonathan said.

Jonathan merely closed his eyes and chuckled softly "come now, you have to admit it was amusing to watch...I mean a whole bunch of people were quite interested" Jonathan said referring to the fact that the few people in the cafe actually took noticed to the girl's attempt at making fun of Julius. With that the two finished their sandwiches and took the time to relax. With a sigh he raised his eyebrow as the sound of music reached his ears "well that sounds...nice" Jonathan said

Julius could actually agree with the boy and it quite surprising to hear such a bitch have such a pleasant voice. In further thought it made sense as to why she got into Fortissimo but regardless, it was going to be really difficult to work with her if he had to. "Alright then, now that we are done with breakfast lets go...what are we going to do now?"

    "Extreme Basketball?"

    "Extreme mutherfucking Basketball"

Much like he'd done the previous day, Shane was already out and about. Again like he'd done the previous day, he sent another message to Seraphina.
That was probably the biggest and one thing that was truly different about today. Currently he was sitting on one of the benches at the park just waiting around. Normally he would've been playing one ofhis games to pass the time, but since his battery wasn't full, due to his forgetfulness, he had it in his pocket as he gently swung his legs back and forth waiting for Seraphina to show up.

Rian followed Pierce into the living room and looked pretty happy as she sat down. Why thank you Miss Pierce. he replied to her offer of the spot next to her on the couch. Rian sat down near Pierce. He then pulled out his own laptop and begun to turn the piece of hardware on. Now then, do you require any assistance in any of your subjects at the moment. I believe you said something about Algebra being a rough patch the other day? If so I would be more than willing to start with that with you. Unless of course you had some other course planned first to work on.

Her chocolate brown eyes darkened and she glowered at the notebook on the coffee table. Yeah, um ... Algebra sounds good. It's never been a strong suit. How - how are you doing in it? She flipped open the textbook and brought the school's site up on her computer. Pierce scrolled through until she found the math department and their teacher's name with the list of assignments that needed to be completed. She glanced over at Rian who appeared to have his laptop now on as well.

I am slightly above average at the subject. he replied.

Pierce licked her lips and shuffled through the scribbled on sheets of notebook paper until she found a clean one. O - oh, well, that's good.

It didn't take long for them to get the assignments underway. Rian struggled to explain things to the mathematically challenged Pierce. She was honestly doing her best to understand. Oliver seemed to have a better way of explaining it to her -- odds are he really wasn't, she just cared to listen more. Somehow they managed to fight through it and move onto other things. They snacked while working and the television was turned down low in the background. This wasn't so bad.

Hey um, Rian? she started whilst they were taking a break. Have you um ... decided where you wanna g - go in the fall? I'm thinking - I'm thinking of some place out of state. I've been looking at ah, schools as far away from C - Candlewood as I can get. I just -- this town is so messed up, ya' know? It was something that had been weighing heavily on her since school started. As things progressed, her resolve to get away from her had been growing stronger and stronger.

Seraphina had been working on her singing voice for most of the day. She wondered if she should have texted Shane or if he would text her. She kept checking her phone; but had given up. She twirled her red hair and sat at the piano. She was trying to compose a song. She sighed. Nothing was coming to her. She looked at her phone was more.
    To: Seraphina
    From: Shane
Message: Shall we try hanging out again, I'm in the park this time.
Seraphina smiled; then running to her room to find a change of clothes. She tried to find something she knew would look good on her; while still being just normal clothes. She slipped on a short red dress. She smiled at herself. She was looking in her mirror. It fitted her nicely. She walked down stairs. Her heels were making clicking noises on the shiny floor. She took her black shall, and then headed out the door. She got into the car; and she when on her way.
She walked down the way to get to the park; her hair swaying in the wind. She looked around; before seeing Shane. She smiled at him and was walking over to him as the light reflected off of her ocean blue eyes to make them shine with radiance. She sat down close beside him; feeling the touch of his arm on hers.
"Hey Shane, it's nice to see you." Seraphina said kindly."I've sort of um... noticed that you're kind of shy and I just.. um... what I tried to tell you yesterday, is that you can always ask anything or say anything you know; or if somethings on your mind... I won't mind; honestly." She told him; finally ending her sentence. She smiled gently; then blushing realizing that she had rambled on enough. "That being said; do you want to talk about anything?" Seraphina asked him curiously.

Alex looked down slightly at the thought of being romanced with. There wasn't that great of a memory for it. Everyoned despised Alex for certain things. No one wanting to around at all when Alex was involved. Just the freak of the school. "I had no romance with boys or girls. I was a freak to everyone. No one would want someone like me. They called me ugly, trash, confused, ******ed, etc. I soon began to believe them." Alex began to curl in a ball trying to avoid the thoughts of endless ridicule.

"They didn't accept me because I was different. I wanted to show them I wasn't afraid to speak my mind. It all screwed me over in the end." Alex looked over at Estelle slowly trying to find some glimmer of happiness. The question gave them both hurtful memories. "Maybe it was a bad idea after all to bring that question up. I'm sorry."

"Oh...I'm so sorry." She said, putting one of her arms around her, holding her tightly against herself. "It looks like we're were both in the same boat then." She said, gently stroking her hair. "I was made fun of too. I was... awkward. I had just moved here. I had been quiet and shy and I had just moved here. Rumors about my father's murder. Kids can be cruel. They can scar you... they can hurt you..." Estelle said.
"I pity the poor people that turned you down as a friend, or even as more then a friend. Because you're really special Alex. And some can argue that, I just met you I don't know what I'm talking about... but I don't think the length of time matters. It's the bond that's created. I gravitated to you, because of how you acted." Estelle eyes were tearing again, but it wasn't of sadness. "Alex, you can't let what they said get to you ok? None of it is true at all." Estelle said holding her tighter.
"You're perfectly awesome Alex. You're better then that, you're kind and funny and you're so nice. You're passion about art and Manga. You care about the other people around you, and you try so hard not to upset anyone. You're really honest, and it's good that you say whats on your mind. It shows you're confident..." Estelle was able to smile.
"You can worry about things like, bullies and words with no meanings Alex. You have a good future here. We're all your friends... no one has any reason to make fun of you." Estelle said, looking at Alex straight in her eyes.

    "Hey uh, Lila right?"
Lilly made a little jump when she heard the familiar voice and quickly turned to see Ryder not too far from her, he had just gotten off of his own board. She blushed a little, in a typical thirteen-year-old around an older guy kind of way. But she was a little upset he didn't get her name right, "Um... it's Lilly."
"Lily, sorry. My bad. I was watching you from the tree over there," Lilly watched him point back over to the tree and she looked where he was pointing and saw a girl sitting there, who waved at him and he smiled at her. Lilly was a little upset about that kind of reaction, and tried to block it out as a friendly thing, but she had a feeling it was more. Oh well, she could still crush on Ryder regardless whether or not he had a girl of his own. "and I couldn't help but notice you struggling with the Ollies. Normally I'd just let someone toughen through it,but with this whole disease thing I thought maybe I'd offer to help?" he rubbed the back of his head and finished with, "What do you say?"
Lilly kicked around for a minute, she could have said yes immediately, but she felt like if she pretended she was thinking it over it would look better. In the end, she still managed to think about it though. Did she want help with this? Of course she did. Especially if Ryder was offering it.
    "Yes please."
"Cool, cool." he dropped down his board and taught by example, but it clearly was not going well. When she got off of the ground again, Ryder stepped around her. "Here, you're not distributing your weight correctly. You need to be more balanced."
Lilly felt as Ryder held her elbows to help distribute her weight, and if he was looking her in the face, she had a feeling she was blushing even more. She was probably "red in the face" like everyone told her but she would never know, she just hoped he wouldn't look and tell. He walked her through it step by step and finally she half managed an Ollie. At least it was progress. "It's getting better."
Lilly really wished she had gotten it down that time, and she let out a quick heated breath and she attempted it again. And she got it... mostly. While she got it down, her landing was flawed, and she ran a couple of feet to keep herself from falling. When she stopped, she let out an uncontrolled stressed out grunt and went back to retrieve her board and attempted again almost immediately, except this time she got it down. She was still riding on the board as she shouted, "Yes!" but almost immediately after she accidentally sloped down into the bowl when she looked over to Ryder, and a shout was let out as she fell into it completely. Her skateboard flying up on the other side of the bowl and landing back on normal group.
"Um. I'm okay!" this is embarrassing...

Alex sat there listening to as Estelle spoke. Her entire body holding onto Alex. She spoke what was painful to hear. Joy, happiness, and acceptance: things Alex had not known for a long time. The attention grabber was Estelle's father. He was apparently murdered. That must have been what triggered the emotional outburst with the relationship question. Something involving her father must have been a large enough impact to make Estelle have such a phobia of men.

But telling the truth, always trying to be kind heated. Those were lies in themselves. Everyone had their secrets and Alex had a big one that not even Estelle, the person who would be Alex's best friend, could never know. "I thank you for your kind words Estelle... But not everything you think about me is true. I lie. Like every human being, I have my secrets. There is plenty of hate I store inside me, only because I know if I release it... I may harm those dear to me. I just want all the anger to go away."

Alex began to hold Estelle's, tears running down. Estelle was caring. They shared the same pain, but Estelle was just so much older and mature. Alex hadn't found a way to cope with this yet. There was no one to vent to. No one to help relieve the anger. Estelle had the luxury now with all her new friends. Alex continued to cry onto Estelle, trying to release all the emotions that were held in so tightly.
