Shane was glad to hear Seraphina's words after he'd finish playing. Sure he was good at playing video games and things like that, but piano wasn't necessary a talent that he openly shared with everyone , in fact not many people knew that he could actually play the piano. So whenever one of the few people that new that he could play, he always too there words to heart. Though the moment of enjoyment they had was shattered by Seraphina's sister.​

While during the time that they were talking he was silent, he didn't know what to think about her words. Sure he wasn't someone of nobility, he had nothing special about him, just as she said he was a commoner. It was also clear that Seraphian didn't like what she was saying about him based off her reaction.​

In the end her sister left the two also in silence until Seraphina spoke words of encouragement. She was right after all, he couldn't let her words get to him. "No, don't worry about it." He said in return. If he wasn't going to let it get to him, then there was no reason for Seraphina to let it get to her.​

The bottles were all gathered in Julius's arms as he brought them out of the kitchen and headed over to the living room where the group of men were go get wasted. True he had only messaged Erik, but Julius knew he could rely on Erik to get the message out. If it were just the two of them then things would have been quite dull and that defeated the whole purpose of this party. The drinks were placed and Julius smirked.

Julius' assortment of drinks were many and it was sure that they wouldn't be running out for the night. With a sigh Julius sat down and tried his best to resist the urge to merely drink some of the alcohol before him. It had been quite a long time since he was ever excited about something and with all that had been going on it felt nice. There was a nagging feeling, something that he felt he was forgetting. For some reason he felt a sadness when he tried to remember what this was, but no mater how hard he tried he just couldn't remember. He merely waited and whoever arrived was let in by Julius.

¶ Ava stepped into the kitchen and watched as Feall finished setting the table, she seemed a little offbeat, likely because Feall hadn't woken her up to help with breakfast. "Good Morning, Feall. What's got you awake and cooking?" Feall hadn't really given it much thought, he had really just wanted to do something different for Ava. "Oh, I, umm. I just decided I wanted to make you breakfast." Being the gentleman Feall always thought himself, he pulled out Ava's chair for her. Ava roller her eyes at him in a sassy fashion before sitting down. Despite this he felt like some part of her secretly enjoyed his chivalry, or perhaps he was just fooling himself, but he knew he didn't intend to stop.

As the two of them ate, Feall spoke up. "Did you want to do anything today? Mom and Dad will be gone until late afternoon. I know there's the sickness going around, but maybe we could go out for a bit. From what I can tell, as long as we avoid people, we shouldn't be at risk..." Ava chimed in excitedly "Sure! Um ... I was thinking about maybe renting a movie, but that sounds kind of boring. ... We should go to the park! There shouldn't be very many people and we can get some fresh air." Feall swallowed a bite and smiled. "The sounds like fun, let's hurry up and finish our work for the day." The duo finished their meals and cleaned up their mess. Feall noticed that the lesson he had missed yesterday in one of his classes was being taught by someone other than his professor, Erik, which was a bit unusual. He decided not to think anything of it and headed next door to Ava's room, he gave a light knock to see if she was finished. "I'm all done with my work, if you are, I'll be in the living room." She replied with a lighthearted "Okay!"

Feall didn't wait long before Ava stepped out of her room and the two of them grabbed their jackets, put on their masks, and headed out the door.

 

Ryder had been sitting at the table looking rather disinterested while they sipped shakes. Elisa was checking her phone and his blue eyes would occasionally drift to the blue skies outside the kitchen window. "Did you get a text from Richie about the drama club?" she inquired, reaching forward to hold his hand.

"Yeah, sounds dumb," he muttered. His gaze flicked from the window to his girlfriend and their blue eyes met.

She smiled at him and he felt bad for his response. "It's down at Crystal's. Wouldn't it be nice to go out?"

Ryder gave her a look. Going out would be nice, but going to Crystal's to meet with a bunch ifbthe drama geeks did not sound appealing in the least. He pursed his lips and made a popping noise before returning to sip on his shake through the straw. Maybe if he delayed the answer then Elisa would just drop it. He didn't want to go.

She gave him a cheeky grin, "We can skate on the way, if you want?"

His brows perked and he lifted his gaze from the shake. She would. Ryder sighed in defeat. Elisa could tell how much he wanted out to ride and she was using that to her advantage. Clever girl. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips and he leaned across the table and kissed her on the cheek. "You win." He told her.

He got up from the table and dumped the cup in the sink. "I'll go grab my board, but you owe me." He pointed at her and winked before disappearing down the hall to grab his skateboard.[DOUBLEPOST=1381218410][/DOUBLEPOST]Erik entered Julius's place, greeted by the one-eyed man. He gave him a wide grin and kicked off his shoes before entering the living room. His brown eyes widened at the array of bottles and he shot Julius a skeptical look. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were trying to get us drunk or something." He laughed heartily and took a seat on the couch. He picked up a bottle of tequila and eyed it appreciatively. The golden liquid made him smile. Erik waited for the other two to join them before pouring himself a shot. He grinned at the three men, even with Tuck looking rather down and tossed back the shot. "This should be fun."

"I'll go grab my board, but you owe me."

She excitedly giggled, "You betcha! Any time, just call it!" and with a bright smile, she went ahead to grab both of their masks and put her shoes on. Elisa could not skateboard. She had tried before, with Ryder, and it was absolutely terrible. She scraped her knees a lot but she ended up mostly laughing - it was still terrible though. Of course, she would love to try and learn it - especially since Ryder was all about skateboarding! With the outbreak, it was deemed dangerous to go out as often so she never really would have the chance.

She tied the pastel blue laces on each of her white sneakers together. By the time she had her mask on, the older twin arrived next to her holding his skateboard under his arm and putting his mask on with his free hand. Then, together, they disembarked to the cafe (Elisa just jogged along since she couldn't even ride a bike either).

It wasn't too far to get to Crystal's. Well, it actually was, but the exercise did feel nice! They had both ordered something to eat and drink then waited since no one seemed to be around yet.

By the time what felt like forever had passed, Elisa wore her signature pout and looked down at her phone's screen. She had texted Richie some minutes ago asking where he was but she received no response. Was everyone busy? Was this a joke? She honestly felt like crying a bit. Did Richie lie to her?

Ryder probably noticed how upset she was and offered to go back. Reluctantly, the turquoise teen agreed so they paid for their things and left. Her boyfriend did not skate at first, making sure an arm was kept around her but she gave him a reassuring look and told him to skate. He didn't buy it but by the time Elisa started sprinting ahead to prove her point, he skated along. Elisa needed that run. She just wanted to distract her mind completely. She didn't want to think about the drama club or Richie.

By the time the two returned to the Duvont household, Elisa went straight to the kitchen to pour them both a glass of water. With cold beverages in their hands she and he walked up the stairs and into Ryder's room. She placed the half full glass of water on Ryder's desk before falling backwards into his bed. She let out a deep sigh, staring up at the ceiling while her legs dangled off the edge of the bed. She tried her best to sound as perky as ever and even tried to put on a smile but it all seemed very wrong for her, "Sorry that was such a flop. But uh, hey...! You got to skate so that's good!"

Seraphina smiled warmly at Shane."I hope you've been enjoying yourself Shane, despite my sister's little episode." Seraphina added. She tried to think of more to say. She looked around the room for something, anything more to say. "I'm glad we've been able to meet up the past few days. I felt so alone, when the sickness started. That, and my friends-" She cut herself off. "The people I knew back in France, haven't bothered to message me all this time." Seraphina said.​

"It got to me I guess. That's why I didn't keep in touch, that and all the lessons. I didn't want to drive you away or something. It made me wonder, if maybe they just didn't care... or if I did something wrong." Seraphina sighed. "Maybe I had been too confident, or too condescending. Or maybe I really hurt somebody, or said they weren't good enough..." She said. She maybe hadn't realized it. That all her friends really hated her. Maybe they could finally have a chance to be good at something with her gone. Maybe the boys wanted sex, while the girls wanted money. But of course, she didn't know. Or she didn't care. Or she cared, but it didn't show. She didn't want to make the same mistake with him. ​

"But then, here I see, that you're still sitting here next to me." Her voice cracked, by she composed herself again once more. "So now, I'm starting to think, that maybe I'm not that bad, or you wouldn't put up with me for this long." Seraphina laughed. "But thank you. I really mean it, Shane." She told him, her eyes glistening as she was able to smile. ​

"DAMN STRAIGHT I'M TRYING TO GET YOU DRUNK" Julius said as he grinned and poured himself a glass of the liquid "Nobody is getting out of here sober that's for sure" Julius said as his glass was filled. He was honestly surprised to have seen Tucker and Evan but they were two people Julius felt he would have fun with. Tucker seemed down, but the whole point of this get together was to have fun so that gloomy mood was sure to leave. ​

Taking a gulp of the liquid in the glass Julius let out a loud sigh as he placed down the glass on the table before him. "Maaaaaaaaaan its been a while since I got some alcohol in my system, ever since getting out of the hospital I've haven't been able to drink like this" Julius said as he glanced over at Evan and brought out a pretty colorful bottle "Here kid, why not try some skittles vodka, taste the rainbow...just don't throw up a rainbow" Julius said closing his eye with a grin as he placed the bottle on the table and grabbed some ciroc and poured himself and Tucker a glass "Cmon drink up" Julius said. He didn't really have to offer up Erik anything due to the fact that he was all over the tequila already. Yup this was going to be fun and innocent...in no way will there be any consequences at all...nope not all all...NONE OF THEM!​

Ryder couldn't help but feel bad for Elisa. She had been so excited about this meeting and they were the only ones to show. They trip to the café had been so lively with excitement and chatter and she talked a lot about the drama club to the point where he wouldn't have minded this meeting. That was, until they got there. As time passed, he could visibly see her disappointment growing strong and he eventually suggested they just head home. There was no point in sitting there for hours. No one was coming and that was that. Ryder hugged her and they left Crystal's. He walked with her, the board over his shoulder, afraid that if he rode his skateboard he might get farther ahead and she feel abandoned or something. Elisa was so down in the dumps. Even after she took off running, did he not believe she was truly better.

When they were back to his place, she immediately beelined for the kitchen to get them water. That was nice. The water felt refreshing. He gulped it down quickly and shot the girl a smile. Elisa didn't finish her water in the kitchen. Instead, they headed up to his room and she took a drink before setting it down on the desk. Ryder watched as she flopped down onto his bed and a mischievous grin parted his lips. "Sorry that was such a flop. But uh, hey...! You got to skate so that's good!"

He nodded his head dismissively. "It's fine," he told her, before lumbering over to the bed. Ryder stretched out on top of her and gave the girl a playful kiss on the lips. He wrapped his arms around her and rolled them onto their sides. "I'm sorry you didn't get to have your dorky drama club meeting."

"Hey!" she nudged him, "There's nothing dorky about it."

"Right, right. My bad. It's super dorky." He kissed her before she could protest more and then the subject was dropped.

A little while later, after some TV, food, homework, and video games; Ryder announced that he was going to take a shower. Elisa said she would hop in after him and part of him was rather disappointed that she didn't just get in at the same time. He sighed to himself as he walked down the hall. Working on it. It was driving him crazy that they hadn't gotten their yet. Ryder showered quickly and Elisa followed suit. They both changed into pajamas afterwards, their clothes being sweaty from the time spent outside, and lounged in his bed watching television until it was late enough to sleep.

Ryder set the sleep timer on the TV and they curled up into bed under the sheets. He wrapped his arms around Elisa and kissed the crook of her neck lightly before burying his face into it and breathing in her sweet scent. His room was starting to smell like her and as he drifted off to sleep, he hoped that would never change.

Alex looked at Leon and gave a uncertain laugh. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Leon." Well, there go the day. Alex wanted to spend time with Estelle some instead of having to be bothered by the other Alex's cousin. it couldn't be helped. "So, what do you all want to do? We could go see a movie, explore the to- Oh! I completely forgot! I still haven't checked in for my room. Um. Hopefully they haven't given it to someone else yet." Alex said panicking.

Whitney turned to Bianca in shock. She didn't want her to hear her. Doing this would only cause her more worry. "I'll be honest with you. I haven't caught the virus, but... I think there is something seriously wrong with me. You should know my Narcolepsy never acts up like this. Its becoming far too common as of recent." She said with a worried face and tone. She was just completely uncertain of herself right now. What was she going to do now, now that she couldn't get an appointment.

They all took their drinks and Julius seemed to be radiating good feels. That was great. Just what they needed, especially to help cheer up the ever so apparently down in the dumps Tucker. He was probably thinking about Freya and it really irked Erik, because she was his student, but he wasn't going to get on Tuck's case about that tonight. Nope. They were all going to have a good, good time. "Maaaaaaaaaan its been a while since I got some alcohol in my system, ever since getting out of the hospital I've haven't been able to drink like this." Julius said.

"That's a shame," Erik replied while mixing himself up a drink. He lifted his gaze from the golden bottle to see Julius handing Evan pretty colorful one. He couldn't help but scoff at the sight of it.

Erik choked on his drink and it burned his throat going down. "Oh man..." He fisted his chest a couple times and sucked in air. Evan was just so colorful that Erik always wondered if he was gay, but didn't feel right asking about it. Julius handed a cup to Tuck and commanded him to 'drink up.' When they were all set, they drank together and started talking and it was a blast. It took some warming up for Tucker, but after getting a drink in him, he seemed to be relatively back to his old self for the first time in a long time. That was great. Erik was probably on his third(?) drink at the time when he turned to everyone else bearing a wide grin. "So ... story time." He clapped his hands together. "Who wants to go first?"

Feall seemed to be telling the truth and all but it was pretty out of the ordinary. After a few more moments, she sighed and decided to leave it at that. He didn't have any reason to do anything special for her. Pff, getting her hopes up! She stepped closer, watching as he pulled her chair out for her and giving him a look before settling down.

They ate in a comfortable silence for a bit before Feall spoke up again.

Ava brightened up immediately. It had been so long since she left the house! She hadn't expected Feall to be the one to offer to break the monotony. She thought about it for a bit. What could they do together? Going to the movies sounded a bit dangerous, and renting one and coming home sounded bland ...

[/url]And so they did! Feall didn't have to wait very long before Ava stepped out of her room and the two of them grabbed their jackets, put on their masks, and headed out the door. They weren't even at the park yet and she felt great. It was a warm, Spring afternoon. They slipped into his car and were off to the park. The drive was full of light conversation and low volume music from the radio that Ava kept flipping through.

Candlewood had really turned into a ghost town with the whole epidemic thing. There were still people around, mostly teenagers and those with no where to go or be, but there was a noticeable difference in how ... lively it all was. When they arrived at the park, no one was there. This thing had really scared some people. She hoped it got resolved soon.

They got out of the car and she checked her mask to make sure it was on securely, even though she felt completely silly having to wear one in the first place. The disease or whatever wasn't airborne so she didn't get what the problem was. It was probably just a safety precaution considering how little anyone knew about this thing.

She glanced at Feall and her heartbeat quickened. Aah, maybe the park had been a bad idea. It was just him and her, alone, together, and she felt like such a baby for having picked the park of all places. Oh well. What's done is done. She was going to enjoy herself.

Her eyes scanned the park and settled on the swings. Eek. There was a time where that seemed like the most fun in the world, but more recently swinging had just made her feel nauseous. Then there was a merry-go-round, which would make her nauseous as well, and the monkey bars that were too close to the ground for her. The slides were too short to have much fun on ... the seesaw wouldn't work out too well, either. She visibly pouted and huffed, crossing her arms and mashing her lips together behind the mask.

Finally[/url], her eyes settled on a wide bike trail further beyond the playground. Tall, vivid green trees bordered the long winding stretch of gravel. She had been here, years and years ago, and if she remembered there was a small creek deeper down into the woods. Discovering it would be a nice little trip, she thought.

（ Walk with me? ） She nodded towards the trail, but didn't exactly wait for him to confirm that he was okay with it before skipping off towards through the woodchips and then the short blanket of grass leading up to the entrance. Now, she felt very much pleased with her decision to head out to the park. The playground was a bust but who knew what kind of sexually tensed adventures awaited them on these park trails.

"You should go check it out." Estelle told her. "Don't worry, I can handle things here." She smiled. "Plus you still need to unpack right? You should head home." Estelle told Alex. She was sad Alex had to leave. Even though she smiled, she didn't want to be all alone with Leon. It was at this point one of the worst things she thought could happen. She knew she was going to mess things up. She also knew that she was getting really nervous. She felt her heart rate move faster, as she had trouble breathing. ​

Estelle looked over at Leon, a bit uncomfortable. Her face was pale, though her cheeks were bright red. This was already a disaster. She shivered slightly, as she lied back on the couch. She sighed. "Um...so...Erg...are-are you joining us at the sc-hool?" Estelle asked Leon, barely being able to spit out the words. "I'm sorry. I'm ju-st kind of... um..." Estelle started to apologize. "Um. Tellme a littlebit about yourself." Estelle said quickly. She couldn't talk properly, it would be better if he could. She sat in her chair nervous as she waited for an answer. And just like that, it was now Leon with the remaining girls in the house while Alex went on his date. While some people would probably enjoy being surrounded by girls who barely knew him and would try to flirt, he had little plans on doing that and was basically going to read the book that he'd brought with him while he waited for Alex to return. For the most part he was able to get a couple pages read before someone had said something to him. ​

We'll he wasn't expecting all the stuttering, but still gave her answer. "Yeah, since my mom moved here I'm staying with Alex until she get situated." Not too long after answering, he adjusted his glasses slightly, it was a habit that he's developed, then went back to reading his book. ​

Nervous, why would she be nervous of me. He's barely said anything since he got here and he definitely wasn't intimidating in the slightest.

Before answering, he directed her attention the book that he was holding. "Well I like to read, detective stories and mysteries." Right now her was reading more of a classic detective tale so in case she asked about the book, he wouldn't have to explain much about it.

 

okay i have to go to bed so here's this

richie looks around his room sighing. previously that day he went to crystal's so he could join the drama club but no one was there boohoo. he was upset and confused because he thought someone would be there. but whatever. so richie moped his way back home, his feet dragging and all that shiiiiiit so he's all like lol okay time to internet. he does some shiiit like play lol and go on tumblr and facebook and twitter and yada yada. then he went onto youtube and looked through his and elisa's old videos which made him happy but also sad let's find out why.

richie missed the times when elisa would come over and they would hang out and watch cute movies and play cute games and all that good kawaii stuff. but what he loved most was their videos, especially the baking ones. thinking about how many mistakes they made and how many retakes they had to do gave him a goofy smile. as each video ended, he was tempted to stop and move on so old memories wouldn't flood in, despite being positive ones, because they would make him sad because they don't do it much anymore. you get the gist.

richie flopped onto the bed in his comfyass pjs and cuddled under the blankets as usual. he turned on the teli and began watching some random singing channel. he wasn't that tired, so he was tempted to get up and do something. but what would he do? he was all like lolno walking and decided to stay nice and toasty in bed yay

That morning he was up and excited for Pierce's ... get together. He showered, got dressed, packed something for overnight and head out. Before he went to her house, he stopped to get her a present. He was honestly not too sure what Pierce was into at all, so he got her a stuffed animal [ a kawaii turtle ], a birthday card, a book dedicated to the testimonies of rape victims who overcame their crippling anxieties, and a bouquet of flowers because girls liked those ? ??

When he got to her house, he parked on the side of the road across the street and slung the bag of clothes and whatnot over his shoulder before heading out and knocking on Pierce's door.

¶ "Walk with me?"Ava had hardly finished asking before she was already off in the direction of the woods. Feall smiled and let out a sigh as he followed her, adjusting his mask and jacket. Ava was a few paces ahead when she turned around for a moment. "You know, I've been wanting to go out with you ..." Feall stopped in his tracks as Ava continued walking. What did she mean by this, she said it so nonchalantly. Did she simply mean just get out of the house? That would be silly. Feall knew that she had feelings for him, ever since that one fateful evening...

Flashback

Feall looked at Ava with eyes widened, he couldn't believe that she'd just confessed that she loved him. The brunette standing at the foot of his bed as he lay there, book in hand with music softly buzzing from the one earbud he'd taken out. "Y-you love me!?" he finally asked. She didn't answer but just looked at him as if expecting an answer. "I, uh, I love you to, you know, like a sister...that's what you meant, right?" He knew it wasn't, but he was hoping for a way out of this. Feall had feeling for Ava, too, but he hadn't wanted to do anything about it...they had something good going, they practically spent all of their time together anyway, and making it into some sort of official "relationship" would only put stress on their dynamic and possibly ruin things between them. Ava looked at Feall, drying to hide the disappointment on her face, though, she wasn't doing a good job. "Y-yeah...I just wanted to let you know in case something happened..'big bro'.." She said, walking over to punch him in the arm before walking away.​

As Ava led the way down the gravel path, through the trees and the wildlife, Feall spoke up. "You know, I uh, I kind of haven't been honest with you these past couple years." Ava looked over her shoulder at Feall, with a slight look of concern in her eyes, she slowed down her pace a bit to let him catch up with her. "I um..back when you told me you loved me. I uh, I knew what you meant and I..ah." He nervously played with his keys in his pocket. "I guess what I'm trying to say is that I uh-" Before he could finish his sentence, he felt Ava grab his hand with both of hers. His stomach twisted into a knot and his heart skipped a beat for a moment, but he didn't pull away. He simply blushed and turned to look at her. She was staring at him with a huge grin on her face, the tiny beams of light that made it through the canopy overhead making her eyes glisten behind her glasses. Feall blushed once more and turned to face forward with the most nervous attempt at a "normal" face he could make. "About time you fessed up." he heard her say.

The pair continued on in silence for a few more minutes until they heard running water. Ava instantly lit up and took a few steps ahead, tugging on his arm as she turned around to face him. "Come on" she said as she practically pulled him in the direction of the sound. A short way off of the trail they came to a small creek that ran through the woods. The gentle sound of the water mixed with the calls of the semi-aquatic life to create a serene and romantic atmosphere. Out here it was just the two of them, alone in this beautiful little corner of the woods. They both spotted a large rock in the center of the stream a few dozen yards away and headed in that direction. There were a few other rocks and bits of trees that they could use as a makeshift bridge to reach it. Feall went first, to make sure it was stable. After making it he waved to Ava who made her way across. He helped her up and the two of them sat together watching the leaves and other bits of nature that happened to get caught in the creek pass by.

After a few minutes of sitting in silence, Feall asked Ava a question that had been bothering him for a while."So why did you get it...Cupid's Brew, I mean."

Pierce had been looking through discussion threads people posted about Cupid's Brew on various forums when a pop - up window appeared. She opened a new tab and entered in the URL once more. Pierce inhaled deeply and pressed enter. It hadn't been working and she doubted the plausibility of the site appearing before her.

Still, your hand drags your mouse up to the address bar to make sure you typed the website in correctly when suddenly white letters in spidery font began to a light themselves on the bright background.

She gazed at the site with wide chocolate eyes. It was right there in front of her face and Pierce found it hard to believe. She looked through all it had to offer. There was some spring special going on and three new 'potions' were available. That made things harder to choose from.

There were no instructions or directions on any of them. She understood the principal of the love and hate potions, but not the healing elixir or the memory potion. What did it heal? Did they lose all their memories or just some? Pierce hovered the cursor over them for awhile, but then ultimately settled on the love potion. It was why she had come to the site, after all. She added it to her shopping cart and halfway through the order form did she smell something peculiar.

Smoke filled the house and she almost sent the laptop flying upon realization. She forgot about the cupcakes!! Pierce left her laptop abandoned on the coffee table and rushed into the kitchen. It reeked of burnt baked goods and she grabbed the potholders off the counter and opened the oven. Smoke blasted her in the face and she pulled the tray out, setting it on the cooling rack. ❝ Ah man... ❞ Pierce clicked her tongue to the roof of her mouth and turned on the exhaust fan above the stove. The chocolate cupcakes were black bricks and she sighed in disappointment. ❝ Happy Birthday to me, ❞ she muttered over the sound of the fan. The kitchen stunk and she went to grab the bottle of air freshener out of the bathroom. She sprayed the kitchen liberally with the vanilla scented air freshener. That honestly seemed to make it worse.

Pierce shut off the oven and left the door cracked open to air out the appliance. It smelled horrible. The air in the kitchen was a mixture of burnt cupcakes and vanilla. With another disappointed sigh, she set the aerosol can down on the counter and drifted lethargically back to the living room. She sat down on the couch and looked at her computer. The order form was still up and she reached over to the device, setting it in her lap. She had already done this much, might as well complete it. Pierce filled in the last of the information and pressed submit. She closed her computer and buried herself into the cushions of the couch, so much for this being an awesome start to her birthday. She had really wanted to try and cook and like always, it ended as a disaster. Pierce was honestly a little afraid of what might happen later while trying to cook dinner.

A few minutes later there was a knock at the front door. Pierce jumped to her feet a bit unsteady and made her way back to the kitchen. It still smelled unpleasant, although, not to the same degree. She brushed the hair out of her face and straightened her dress. She checked her reflection in the window above the sink, then made her way around the breakfast bar to the front door. With a reassuring breath, she opened the front door and smiled at the tall blond in front of her. ❝ Hi Oliver. ❞ she greeted him cheerfully. There was a bright smile on her face and she stepped out of the way to let him into the house. He had a full looking bag on his shoulder and flowers in his hand. Flowers?? Color spread on her cheeks and she looked away.

❝ Are those, ah, are those for m - me? ❞ She didn't understand why he brought flowers. Pierce had been sure not to tell him what today was so that he wouldn't feel obligated to act different around her at all. Did he figure it out somehow? Oliver must have got some sort of online notification or something. The flowers were pretty and when they were handed to her, she took a small whiff. They smelled wonderful. She carried them over to the sink and grabbed a vase out of one of the cupboards. Pierce undid the plastic wrapping around the base of the bouquet and carefully aligned the stems within the water - filled vase, setting it down on the counter. ❝ Those are -- they're really pretty. ❞ She gave him another smile and walked back over to him. Pierce was trying to do her best not to stutter or stumble over words. It was hard and Oliver made her feel so easily flustered. Today was definitely going to be a challenge.

Cel rolled her eyes. Her work was finally finished to the best of her abilities. She went online . She scrolled down the pages of youtube, and other forums. She sighed, nothing interesting ever happened on her side of the internet. She laughed to herself. She would need to get out of the house tomorrow before she went crazy. Though she might as well be, at least that would be exciting. She store at her computer, before flopping onto the bed.​

Cel lied down for a while longer, just staring at the ceiling. Maybe she was going crazy and she didn't realize it. Maybe tomorrow she would go have fun... or go out for a drink or something. She sighed, then rolling over to write in her dairy. ​

"I was not cut out to do school work. I hate it. I had to clean the house today too, how stupid. I'm going to go out tomorrow, I don't care about this stupid sickness. I'm not scared. I'd rather take my chances then to fully go level 9 nuts. I should go out for a few drinks tomorrow, at a club or something. Hahahha... ya... that would be something wouldn't it? I might as well, not like I have anything to stay sober for."​

Cel laughed loudly to herself. She sighed, then slowly falling asleep. ​

"Yeah, since my mom moved here I'm staying with Alex until she get situated."​

She nodded. Her heart rate started to slow. She wondered what the happy couple was doing. She wondered, and then nearly busted out laughing. She wondered how things were going, she knew the 2 were very awkward and nervous. She sighed.​

"Well I like to read, detective stories and mysteries." ​

"O-Oh. I see.." Estelle said. "I like to read too." She smiled awkwardly. "I-I used to write a bit... but that was a long time ago." Estelle told Leon. "Ar-are you liking it here, in the county? It isn't exactly a very safe place, with the sickness, but when things get back to normal... I'm sure that You-You'll like it here." Estelle told. ​

She took a deep breath. She suddenly wished Alex was here with her. She wanted to talk to her about things, and get to know her better. But this wasn't so bad. Though it wasn't going well, it wasn't... that bad. ​

"You're welcome for the flowers."

Oliver watched as she found a place for the flowers and then slipped off his shoes by the door and followed her deeper into the house. The smell of burnt baked goods was clear, but the mask he wore hid the crinkling of his nose. She met him halfway and he shrugged, looking around a bit awkwardly before settling his attention back on her.

"Where can I put my bag and stuff? I take it I'll be sleeping on the couch?"

He wasn't exactly sure what Pierce had planned for the day - if anything. He hoped they wouldn't just sit around and stare at each other all day. He was anxious to see how she felt about the present he had gotten her, even though he felt like a bit of a creeper for knowing what day it was. If it weren't for his band and his logging into the student portal nearly daily because of it, he wouldn't have known. The SP had a small section dedicated to the birthday's of students on the homepage. He had thought maybe it was another Pierce but had seriously never heard of the last name Mhenjer.

He wasn't going to make a big deal out of it if she wasn't into that, but he thought a present - even as an I'm Sorry was better than pretending he didn't know ... or care.
