    LOCATION FUNERAL

It was really hard trying to keep herself from sobbing even with Ryder around. Actually, especially with Ryder around. This was because ever since she heard about the funeral this morning her mind would split into two thoughts:

The first was of her best friend Richie. What if he had seen her with Ryder? What was he going to think? What was he going to do? But more importantly, where was he? She looked around the room nervously. Why wasn't he answering her text? She was very worried. She really wanted to know he was alright. How shaken up was he by the news? She just really couldn't believe how awful it must have been to know someone her best friend really liked was dead.

This led to her second thought, Ryder. She didn't really know why but every time all she thought about was losing him. Like, Bryan and Sophie and Lucas all just died. All too suddenly. It wasn't like death was something that only happened to some people either - death happened to everyone! It was a natural thing in life and for some reason all she could think about was what if something happened to Ryder?

Waiting for him was horrible and when she finally heard a knock at her front door she ran as fast as she could. She couldn't help but start sobbing when she finally saw him. It was like a huge weight was lifted off of her chest but at the same time it absolutely wasn't. The blonde haired boy did an amazing job at trying to cheer her up but it was just too hard for her to get her ind off of. They had just started actually being together and everything was a complete bliss. Could it really end just like that?

Just then, Ryder has pulled her in close and gave her a little kiss on the head. Her heart fluttered and she tried hard not to cry. She was being pretty selfish wasn't she? Thinking so much about all the things that concerned her and not even those who passed - at their funeral too! Sophie would have kicked her or something.

She lay her head on his shoulder. All these horrible thoughts were still haunting her. She just wanted it all to stop. Part of her didn't even feel like being at the funeral anymore because it seemed really disrespectful how her mind has been selfishly thinking and Richie wasn't even around - one of the other reasons why she wanted to go, since she was still waiting to find out if he was okay. She knew she had to be there for him, especially when going up to see the coffins.

She gulped nervously and looked up at the boy next to her, blinking her damp eyes. She sniffled. "S-sorry for making you come." she muttered softly, only for him to hear. She must have been such a pain right now too, dragging him to - of all places - a funeral. Plus, there was also a really high chance Richie would show up and with their little talk the day before she knew Ryder wanted little to do with his twin. It really was flattering to know he accompanied her, "But thanks for coming anyway."

She really meant what she said, but what she said next was beyond that. She knew he probably didn't know what she truly meant but it didn't matter. She just want him to know because her mind was going absolutely nuts. Her eyes began to tear up a bit once more and she knew her voice would shake when she would talk next because she could feel a lump on her throat but she didn't really care. her voice came out with the smallest whimper, which probably wasn't so odd since she's been crying a lot, "Please don't leave me."

Ryder was just sitting there staring blankly at an arrangement of flowers. He didn't really know what to say or do. He had never actually been to a funeral before and attending one for classmates just felt wrong and strange at the same time. Elisa was crying beside him and it made his heart ache. Ryder kept stealing glances down at her to see how she was doing -- clearly not well. She eventually looked up, meeting his gaze and blinked her damp eyes. She sniffled. "S-sorry for making you come." she muttered softly. Ryder shook his head.

"It's fine, really." he insisted. Ryder had been trying to assure her that it was okay since the moment he walked through her front door. As long as it was with her, he didn't really mind where he was. He pulled her a little closer to his side.
"But thanks for coming anyway." Her eyes began to tear up a bit once more and her voice shook when she spoke. Elisa opened her mouth and a whimper came out. "Please don't leave me."
Ryder felt like his heart might explode in that moment and he wrapped both arms around her, pulling her into his chest. It felt right and he didn't care if anyone saw. He buried Elisa into his chest and practically pulled her into his lap. "I'm not going anywhere." he whispered back. "You're stuck with me now." He meant it, but he also felt completely embarrassed for having said something like that out loud. Ryder didn't like being attached to people and yet Elisa made it so easy to open up. He wanted to be attached to her and he didn't mind that she was so desperately in need of his attention right now. He liked it.
If she was going to cry and be upset, then you could bet he would do his damnedest to make her feel better, even if that meant just holding her while she cried at a funeral. Ryder kissed the top of her head and stroked her back lightly. He didn't let her go. He didn't care if his clothes were ruined with tears, they were just clothes after all. He just wanted her to feel better.

    "Hello, lucky customer number 1."

"Oh hello." Shane said to the clerk. Seeing her pop up from behind the counter was weird, but he went back to the current matter at hand.

"Sorry I'm not good at this, I don't normally work with the customers, I just coward off behind the desk. Anyway, it looks like you're looking for something. Sooo is there something I could get you?" She asked. "We have our Christmas flowers out on the desk still, if you want to take a look at them."

Well that explained sudden appearance, but at least he could accomplish his goal faster. "Sure." Though even if he'd hadn't said anything she'd already went to get the flowers. The three flower that she placed on the table all looked amazing though he'd probably avoid the mistletoe. That just left the Christmas Rose and the Amber rose. It was a tough decision and he doubted that he had the money for both of them.

"We have Our Christmas Roses, Amber Roses, and of course, Mistletoe. Of course we have more, if these aren't to your liking, but I can tell you're buying for a special someone today, so these should be the right choices."

Was he really that transparent right now. Sure that was what he was planning, but he didn't think it was that obvious. "I'll go with the Amber Rose" He said, having made his decision.

A wonderful aroma could be discovered emanating from the Smar kitchen. He was preparing some corned beef hash after raiding Freya's fridge and discovering she had some leftover corned beef. He found that a little odd, since corned beef was usually eaten around St. Patrick's Day but he wouldn't argue; he was about to serve a great and special breakfast that his friend would surely enjoy.

As he added the finishing egg on top, his phone buzzed. He looked to it curiously.

    Text from Elisa:

    Hey babe are you okay ; ~~~~~ ;
Please contact me. I want to know
you're alright sobs And are you going
to be able to go to the funeral later?

Fu. . .neral? The boy read the message again and again, the short yet shocking words replaying through his mind. Whose funeral was it? Obviously it had to be someone close, since Elisa texted him... but who? He didn't even want to think about it right now. Exhaling a wavered breath, the blonde quickly texted back before he could over think anything. He wouldn't want to ruin this lovely breakfast anyway.

    Everything will be okay...

    Text to Elisa:

    ummm... what funeral...? ; - ;
whose is it?! are you alright??
text me back asap bby everything'll be okay...

Shoving the phone deep in his pockets, Richie added the finishing touches to his delectable masterpiece. He carried the platter over to the dining room table where he and Freya could eat peacefully. This was kind of a fancy breakfast, so why spend it in front of the teli? Besides, after their talk last night, the aura between them was full-blown awkwardness. Just the two of them at the table with no distractions... some conversation would have to come out of that.

"Freya~! Breakfast is serv-" The boy chimed melodically before he was interrupted by a knock at the door. He contemplated for a second whether or not he should answer... N O P E. After all, this was Freya's home so guests shouldn't really be answering doors. For a moment he was concerned she was still asleep, but he then picked up some faint footsteps from upstairs and knew she was out of bed.

Returning to the kitchen to grab some plates and silverware, the boy meticulously placed them down on the table. It looked very pretty and kind of classy, which made him feel a little better inside. The ominous text from Elisa was still fresh in his thoughts, but he would try his best to forget about it at least until breakfast was over.

Sitting down at one end of the rather large table, Richie patiently waited for his friend to come downstairs and enjoy their breakfast meal together.

    "You're stuck with me now."

That little line of his made a small chuckle escape from her lips as she cried. Guess he did realize just how much she meant. As he held her into a very tight embrace and even practically pulled her onto his lap, he heart fluttered. Those little horrid thoughts began to melt away. She still had them but as he held her close and all she could feel was the warmth radiating off from him it just felt a lot more real. Like, she really felt like Ryder wasn't going to go anywhere.

It wasn't even just physical body-heat warmth, well sure it was a lot of that, but Elisa felt all warmed up inside and it felt good. It felt right.

As the two began to relax from their tight, sobbing embrace the turquoise teen shot a quick glance at who was around... not much, actually. There were some eyes who looked at them and her cheeks flushed but she gave them a small smile. Merp. She probably looked like this overly emotional, weird, candy colored freak to them. Though, honestly, she didn't really mind. Actually, if she was completely honest, she didn't even want to be around anymore. Sure, it was to pay respect to those who passed - especially since they were her friends and it was a very sad time indeed. Though, the main reason why she went was because she wanted to be there for Richie during this time! She really didn't know how he would handle it - but where was her best friend anyway? He hadn't even replied to he-

    BZZ! BZZ! BZZ!

Oh. Had she spoken too soon?

At that moment, her phone buzzed off in her pocket. Luckily, it was on vibrate so it didn't disturb anything or anyone. She shifted a bit so she could grab her phone on her pocket, but still clung onto Ryder. She flipped open her phone to see just who she expected - but it wasn't really the words she expected to see.

    Text to Elisa:
    ummm... what funeral...? ; - ;
whose is it?! are you alright??
text me back asap bby everything'll be okay...

She gulped and felt tears gather in her eyes again. So he didn't know. Oh god. Was it her job to tell him? She didn't think she was up for it. She wouldn't be able to handle it. Elisa turned to looked up at Ryder, whose eyes were on the screen of her phone for a moment as he read the text soon. His gaze shifted to hers and she looked at him desperately. She looked for an answer in his aquatic eyes.

    Should she tell him?

    Could she tell him?

    No.

Why was this even a question? She had to tell him. She was his best friend - who better to hear it from? He expected an answer as soon as possible! Plus, if this put him in a very upsetting state she wanted to make sure that he knew that she was there for him. She pouted a bit, still with her attention to Ryder, and then finally looked back down at her phone. It had to be done.

    To: Richie
Babe, don't worry bout me. I'll be alright,
I'm worried about you. Idk if you can still
make it but the funerals... the funerals
are for Lucas... and Sophie and... Bryan.
Babe, I'm so sorry I had to tell you this :C
Can you call me soon? If you need to be
picked up Ryder and I can pick you up
asap just give me a call aw babe I'm so
so so sorry :'c *hugs forever*

Estelle the smiled at his choice. "Good Choice, Wonderful type of Rose." She smiled. She put the contents in the bag and rung it up. "That will be... 9.99." She told him.
After she had put the money in the machine, she waved goodbye as she closed up the shop for the night. She swept the main room, and cleaned up for a bit.
Her sisters walked through the door. "Where have you been all day?" Estelle asked Vega, wiping down the desk with an old cloth. "We've been having a girls day." Vega said. "Why wasn't I allow to come?" Estelle asked.
"Estelle someone needed to run the store, plus you wouldn't come if we asked anyway. We were at a fair, and then went to a party afterwards." Vega said. as They headed up stairs, Estelle muttered to herself bitterly. She sighed. They would've been right, of this was before December had hit. She sighed, then heading up stairs herself.
"Sorry Nat, you must have been so bored today. I'll make up for it I promise." Estelle said laughing as she came out of the bathroom. She jumped into bed, hoping that they would have a better day tomorrow.

A funeral. He didn't want to go, but he felt like he should. He hadn't really left his house at all since the ... incident. It was a bit of an understatement to say he was disturbed about the whole thing. Depression hung over him like a cloud, but he wasn't the type to stay down under for long.
Now was the time for sadness, though. The funeral. He didn't necessarily understand it, but it was a joint one. Maybe it was easier on the parents to do it this way, and for the guests, but in any case -- all of the bodies would be buried by the end of the day and all of the families would be gathered together. A funeral is a good place mourn, his brother had always told him. You get it all out with everyone else. It's okay to cry at a funeral. Then, once you've said good bye ...

It didn't feel so easy though. He wasn't close to any of them, but Sophie ... Well, that changed the whole dynamic between Pierce and him. It made him anxious. He didn't want to ... deal with it. Why couldn't everything just be and stay okay?
He arrived at the funeral home and sat in his car for a bit, staring at his his phone and wondering if Pierce would be coming. It would be weird to text her about a funeral like it was a party or something, so he refrained. Instead, he tucked his cell phone away and got out of the car.

Once inside of the funeral home, he received a memorial folder and took a seat, scanning over it to waste time.

The clear sobbing from the families was gut wrenching and he found himself anxious to get the hell out of here as soon as it was over. Someone he didn't recognize stepped up to give a speech. He listened politely. He was biting his lip when the speech ended, and watched silently as tearful family members began to move up to the front ...

Reed wasn't home so there was no interrogation to endure about how things had gone. A meal was made and eaten alone, and then he found himself in bed staring up at the ceiling. He thought about logging on to see if Mary was around but didn't. Technically they were still 'together' after all, but she hadn't made an effort to text so why should he check on her?

He sighed and rolled over in bed, throwing a blanket over his face and eventually drifting off to sleep.

Cel had sat down by herself, but realized the service had not started yet. She noticed there were a few from the school here, and others she guessed were friends and family. She felt very reflective, thinking about her own life.

She sighed. Somethings couldn't be changed. Sometimes things just happened and people had to die, to be a trigger for other events.

She looked around the room, praying silently by herself.
She had been to a funeral a very long time ago, for her father. But that was very very long time ago. She had remember the day he had died.
She sat there in the living room with her father, the sun's shining rays floating through the window. They were playing a video game together, it had just came out. Of course, she was only 6 years old, and needed help with it. She remembered hearing a creaking up the hard, dry steps of the basements stairs. She tried to ignore it the best she could, and focus on her and her father. She heard the noise again, this time it getting closer. She tapped her father on the shoulder. He looked at the basement door. He looked back at her, saying it must have just been the wind. But it was not. She looked over, the door opening a tad. She jumped, her father looked at her, his eyes a sparkling blue. Suddenly there was a lot of firing. Cel flung herself over the back of the couch, she hid behind it, it pressing against the wall. She breathed heavily. Her father jumped to the fire place, and grabbed the gun of the top of the stand. He aimed at the door. She heard the bullets bouncing off of the wall. She was in shock. The world spun as she heard the fire cease. She looked up. Her father and the attacker both lain on the floor. She tried to get up from her hiding spot, shaken and having to crawl. She took a look at the attacker... her Father's best friend. She looked at him. He came to family gatherings, he was like his brother. She had wondered why, but tried to pick up the phone. She dialed the number. She heard the operator. She tried to speak but no words came. Then a few shaky words came out of her mouth "He killed my father." She managed to whisper, her voice shaky. She looked back over at where her God Uncle had stood. He was gone. She couldn't turn around, she knew he was right behind her. The Operator's voice traveled through the line, but she couldn't hear it. He put his hand over her mouth, and she stayed silent. She dropped the phone. He picked her up..

Cel, snapped out of it. She took a deep breath. She realized that the service had started and focused on that instead. A few people spoke. She had stayed till the very end, and then said a few prayers.

She walked outside the doors. She wished she hadn't remembered the day of her fathers death. It made her sick to her stomach. She drove home carefully, trying not to break down. She walked into the house, and went straight up stairs. She lied down on her bed. Her pink hair framing her soft pale skin. She slowly started to fall asleep.

Freya made her way down the stairs and to the door. Out in the cold stood Tucker with a goofy grin on his face that made Freya's heart melt. Tucked under his arm was a small bouquet of flowers and a cup of coffee warmed either of his hands. Awkwardly staring at each other for a moment, Tucker finally remembered to hand her one of the cups.

Um-I got you some coffee, I'm not sure what kind you like, so I hope this is okay!
He grinned as she reached out and took the cup. After taking a sip she realized he'd put far too much cream and sugar in, but she still smiled.
Oh, um, it's great. I love it...thank you, Tucker, you shouldn't have.

Richie stepped out from the kitchen to see who was at the door, though he probably could have guessed. Catching a glimpse of the blonde haired boy wearing pajamas and an apron was a tad confusing for Tucker. Freya caught on to the inquisitive look on his face and explained.

Ah, um, Richie's staying on my couch, probably for a few days...
Tucker still didn't quite get it, but he had always been a bit of a doof, it was endearing to Freya.

Oh, how rude of me...please, come in, Tucker, Richie made some breakfast, it seems, I'll gladly share my portion with you...if you'd like...

Tucker blushed and accepted the offer, handing Freya the flowers he'd gotten for her.

    Oh, T-Tucker, they're beautiful...

She never was one for flowers, but as a gift from Tucker, they seemed so lovely. She quickly found a vase for them and put them in the center of the table as Tucker and Richie got seated. Freya sat down close to Tucker and the three of them ate their meal and discussed their plans for the day.

So...there's a funeral today..for Bryan, Sophie, and Lucas...a few classmates...did either of you plan on going?
The trio awkwardly looked at one another for a moment. Freya, never being one for public events, and Richie, in a bit of a raw state from the affairs, was likely to not want to go either. Tucker simply stared at Freya, as if waiting for her to tell him what he should do.
I..I think we all might be better off staying away from the funeral today...Tucker, I have to go to to the store to pick something up, will you go with me?
Tucker agreed, and after finishing up breakfast, and bidding a goodbye to Richie, who had planned to meet them back here after picking up some stuff from home while everyone was away, they headed to the local sporting goods store.
Freya slipped away from Tucker, while he was busy looking at some tennis rackets and picked up a small utility knife that she could easily conceal. When she returned, Tucker was anxiously looking for her like a lost puppy. Freya felt bad about this and, despite it being against her instincts in such a public place, she took his hand, and the two of them left together.
The two made it back just as Richie was returning, and the group went inside for dinner. Afterward, the three said their goodnights and the two headed up to Freya's room, Richie watched them disappear into the darkened hallway and shook his head with a sigh.
That girl's in for a world of trouble...

That worked out well. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a $10 bill. Once he had the bag, he left and headed towards Seraphina's home. First though, he sent hea quick message.

The message was sent and he continued on his way. Since he'd ended remembering the path to her home, he managed to shave some time off his trip there. Upon arriving at the her house, he rang the doorbell and was greeted by one of the house worker.

Pierce went straight home after the funeral. She couldn't deal with this. Her mother never made it in time and it wasn't like she had anyone to spend time with afterwards. Nope. Now she was hope, curled up in her funeral wear on her bed and wishing she had something to drink. Damn. Her mother just had to clean out the house. She should have thought to hide one of the bottles a little better. Now she only had her sober thoughts to occupy all this empty time. School would be starting tomorrow and that wouldn't make things any better. It wasn't like she would be wandering the halls in search of her friend. Sophie was in college this year, after all; but there would still be whispers. She couldn't do this. Pierce couldn't handle going back to being alone. What was she supposed to do now?

She took a couple sleeping pills. It didn't matter what time of day it was, she just wanted it to be over with. Pierce couldn't stand the idea of being awake any longer and forced to stew in her thoughts. It was too much to deal with for her. She curled up in bed, her face stained with tears. Pierce yawned. She didn't bother changing into pajamas. Hell, she would probably even show up to school tomorrow in this exact state -- disheveled and broken with day old clothes. What was the point of caring anymore?

It didn't take long for the pills to kick in and when they did, they kicked hard. She curled into the blanket clutching a picture of Sophie and herself. Where did her best friend go and why did she have to leave? Her eyelids shut heavily and another deep yawn consumed her before slumber took its final hold on her.

Natalie hadn't wanted to attend a funeral on her birthdays of all days, but she thought it would look stuck up and rude (like that ***** Lillian) to not show up. So she went to it and sat near the back. She normally would have sat with Alex or Estelle, but she just wanted to be alone. Death was something that could set her off, so Natalie kept away from them for their safety. She cried her eyes out at the sadness. So many unnecessary losses in such a short time.

After the funeral, she decided to go home and celebrate the rest of her birthday with Amelia and Rory, then spend the rest of the week at Estelle's house. From Amelia she got a green shirt that said "Unattainable". Ha. Ha ha. From Rory, she got a new winter hat. They then had a bit of cake (Natalie would give some to Estelle and Alex later) and Natalie finally went to bed, having an overall pretty okay birthday.

[ their eyes were watching god ]

The funeral had left her completely drained, and for once, Fatime could do nothing but lie in her bed, glancing at the ceiling.

For the morning she really did believe it was finally nice enough to be released from the little cage she had stayed cooped up in with the Professor, but as memories began to cascade through her mind she could barely keep up anything beyond a monotonous disposition. Slowly and slowly she felt more like a violet shrinking and shriveling in the deep winter sun, mocking and callous as the funeral's lazy speeches and tearful whimpers trudged on through the sick snow. Ayanna had not come to visit, but Fatime was not anymore surprised at this whatsoever. She gazed on as the funeral procession continued, hands shaking, feet in trembles, yet her gaze so distant, so detached, that she felt as if she were watching a movie. An event that would exist to her only in her fiction -- her books -- something to be analyzed for cautious entertainment and fickle understanding. She could not even serve to bear a tear, as much as she felt her lip tremble under pressure, as much as her heart grew thick like a stone. It was not wet, but dry and lifeless; the funeral gave no rain, for Fatime was but windswept decay.

She rolled to the side and looked at the window, where a deep indigo evening painted the sky, not a star to be seen as the chilling full moon loomed like a blank hole in space up above. It would very much be the last time she saw Lucas, wouldn't it be? Fatime closed her eyes. Idiot brother! He could never do anything right in his life and he gets himself killed. What kind of example would he be setting to his dear little sister?

She turned to look at the book he left her as his final gift. The bed was swept clean of its many paper cranes that had once thrived and roosted among its folds.

Fatime felt her mouth open and tremble, and she quickly bit back her teeth, squinting. She thumped her head into her pillow and let the tears forming at her eyes sweep away reality into an amorphous darkness. She slowly went back to sleep.

Ryder had kept a sharp eye on Elisa's phone once Richie finally responded. She had looked at him with so much conflict in her eyes that he was rendered paralyzed by her gaze. Ryder slowly shook his head no. After a minute, she broke away slightly, still holding onto him, and began to type up a reply. Ryder read the message over her shoulder. She had decided to tell him anyway. That would lead to more drama at home, mostly because Elisa had mentioned the fact that they would both be there to get him should he want company. Now he knew for sure that they were together, which would bode the questions as to why Elisa had gone to Ryder and not Richie when she found out.

He sighed heavily. Fortunately, Richie never showed up. However, that seemed to only make Elisa feel worse; in turn making him feel worse. This was just not a good day all around. He comforted her and they sat through the service. Elisa eventually managed to make her way to the front to say her goodbyes. Ryder supported her the entire way.

Afterwards, he took her out to eat -- hibachi. That seemed to be her favorite, but it did little to boost her spirits. He needed to think of something, but he was running out of ideas. Ryder brought her home after dinner, coming inside to sit with her. They watched a movie in her living room. By then it was nearing 9 o'clock. They would be starting their second semester as college students tomorrow. His first class wasn't until one. Ryder had been sure to take afternoon classes so that he would never have to worry about oversleeping. He rose to his feet and cleared his throat awkwardly. "Well um ... I'll probably, ah, get going ..."

Elisa looked at him not broken or desperate, but frightened. As if walking out her door would be the last thing he ever did. She was starting to scare him. He ran his fingers through his hair and bent down to help her to her feet. "On second thought, I'll stay here. That is ... if you don't mind ...?" He raised a blond brow and she nodded, dragging him up to the second floor. Ryder waited out in the hall for her to change. When she was done, she cracked the door open wide enough for him to enter and he slipped off his socks and blazer. Wearing jeans to bed wasn't the most comfortable thing, but he would manage.

Ryder sat down on the bed and patted the space beside him. Elisa obliged and joined him. He gave her a single kiss on the forehead before pulling back the comforter and ushering her under the sheets. He slid in after and pulled the comforter over them. Ryder wrapped his arms around her and hugged Elisa as close to his body as possible. He stroked her hair until she finally fell asleep, doing the same for himself soon after.

Alex had spent most of his day attending the funeral. The whole while though he was quiet and avoided any unessisary contact with other people. Things like funerals didn't go well with him. Every time he's been to one, it was always the same thing he avoided seeing the deceased, not that that helped him two years ago.

When the service ended, he headed home, showered and went to sleep.

The funeral had come and gone, rather uneventfully to the always happy man. He watched all the families, and friends of said families, grieve, weep and whatever else people do at these mourning things. He wasn't entirely sure how to deal with all of these things, and he saw Little Baker Bro wasn't doing much better. Well that would be selling him short. Evan had been just unsure on how to feel. Little Baker Bro however, just seemed to be silently sitting there, like he was lost. Like he didn't really know what to do, but was on the verge of breaking down at any given moment's notice. Though it seemed to be a step up from the completely dead expression he had earlier. When all was said and done the duo ended up leaving silently and going to their respective homes.

Evan dropped Little Baker Bro off at his apartment and watched him as he silently walked off into his apartment. He knew the kid would be able to bounce back from this, it would just take time. Just like it had before. Evan sighed, gave a slight grin and drove off back to his own place.

Once there Evan viewed the text message made by Little Vixen. He found it to be adorable. Technocolor freak, what a card she was. He was tempted to text her back and further ask questions about her love life, but that'd have to wait for another day. Tonight though, Evan felt abnormally drained and decided to pack it in early. Wondering what tomorrow would bring he hopped off to his bed and slept, with nothing but happy thoughts.

There was nothing that Julius could say, no words that were ushered from the man. He just stood there and watched as his student and friend was cast away. Noelle wasn't there, but Julius had Jonathan check up on the girl. True this was the last time the girl could ever see her brother, but Julius would not force her to do something she didn't want to do.

Seeing the dead and watching them leave forever was a difficult thing and Julius could not blame the girl for not wanting to come. Julius could only watch on till at last it was finally over. For now Julius would leave Fatime be and move on. With cane in hand he walked on and taking a taxi he returned home.

Returning home felt weird to the man as he entered the house. After staying at the hospital for a while it felt a bit different. It was a warm and welcoming feeling that Julius could only smile at after the day he went through. With a sigh he made his way to his bed and merely collapsed on it, falling fast asleep.

The days move forward in a blur.

    Even with the recent deaths, Oliver found it fair to continue to move forward and post up the results of the band auditions. They are as follows;

Oliver - band manager / guitar
    Dennis - drums
    Natalie - bass
    Estelle - piano / keyboard
    NPC - vocals

*After the funeral reception, Torvald went overseas for the year for ~reasons~ and returned a few days before spring vacation. The last time he was seen before his overseas trip was apparently after getting a call from the old medical school ...

*Fatime successfully heals her injury, becomes even more quiet, only noticing Julius in the hallway more than anything, but has become famous/infamous for anonymously leaving tiny notes all over fortissimo academy encouraging people and hopefully brightening their day. Makes a resolution in the beginning of March, a quarter of a year past Lucas' death, to make a greater effort to reach out to people.

Despite Noëlle's wishes to be alone [ forever ], Jonathan continues to make an effort to visit her and keep an eye on her. They become much closer as a result.

    ♥♥♥♥H E L L O ♥♥ T O ♥♥ S P R I N G ♥♥ !

♥♥♥♥It's only been a couple of months since the deaths of your peers. Death is always a difficult thing to process, especially the deaths of those so close to your social circle but you find yourself managing relatively alright. You go back to school and try your best to focus on what needs to be done. Time heals all wounds, and you've been told by school counselors that you have all of the time you need to recover from the events of winter break.

... Unfortunately, that's not entirely true.

On February 16th, news reports of a strange flu-like virus spreading around Percival County surfaced. There was nothing unusual about it, really ... until people started dying from it. A lot of people. Okay, I'll be straight with you, everyone who is diagnosed with it drops dead. It's only been a month since then, and not much is known about the virus.

Where did it come from? Why Percival? What is it? How do you cure it?

With more questions than answers floating about and panic rising, Percival County has been placed under strict quarantine. No one gets in or out without official permission or request from the Government. Borders have been placed around the county and traveling even throughout the cities has become tedious. The buses, taxis and trains have been ordered to shut down for the time being and everyone has been asked to stay indoors whenever they can. When going out, it is suggested that you wear a mask and gloves and protect yourself as best as possible.

All that's known about the disease is that it's fatal, and that it doesn't seem to be airborne. There doesn't seem to be a way, yet, to tell who has been infected. Even a mild cold is being treated as a worst case scenario and those in question of being sick have been put in isolation in the hospitals. You're required to report anyone you deem ill.

Fortissimo is one of the many schools in the county to temporarily replace physical classes with online ones. All work is to be done at home and turned in online.

With that aside, everything is relatively normal. You do your best to continue on with your life, while keeping an ear out for any more news. Hopefully things end up alright. The adults in your life try and reassure you that everything will be fine and to not to worry about it.

    Everything will be fine. :)

"It's been a few months... since it all started to happen. I've been hiding, at home... I stocked up on everything I would need, food... So many people getting sick like this. People tend to go crazy, at times like this. Where everyone seems sick. Everyone just drops dead, when they catch it. Covering food in alcohol, to get rid of the germs. I never left the house anyway, so it didn't really matter all that much to me. I sit at home, play video games... watch TV, always have a radio in my hand, for something on the news. All doors locked, windows. I never leave. But I don't do well inside of closed walls. You can never really be too careful though. I've isolated myself from the outside world, and decided to keep a journal in case... maybe this will past, someone will find it one day and make some kind of book when it's all over. I don't know.. but I'm not taking chances. Something needs to be here, so someone could look back, maybe even me.. looking back on how different my life was. But it's not like anything is really going to change. Things are going as they always were, but now I'm just Antsy."
She stopped writing, taking a look at the clock over head, wearing a mask all the time. She couldn't even express how she felt. She felt like she was starting to lose it. She kept telling herself, things would be just fine... just fine... but she didn't know. She really just didn't know anymore. She took a deep breath, lying down on her bed, trying to relax. She felt her heart race. She couldn't go back to sleep now, not in the early morning. She sighed, getting up from bed, and changing into some clothes.
She just had to calm down. Be normal. Do things... normally. She listened to the news cast eating her breakfast and reading the paper. She shook her head. Living in fear, was not something she wanted to do anymore. She looked at the time again, then outside... it was such a nice day too. She sighed, taking more milk from the jug and putting it away. She went back into her room, not bothering to turn the lights on, and lying back into bed. How boring the days had become. She took out an older book, 'Lady Of Avalon' and started to read contently. She felt herself get a bit more excited. this book was amazing really. She yearned to be a writer like this author. It was a good time to write... wouldn't it be? Not writing books though, writing music. She couldn't write like this if she tried, music though... she could always write music. She found her guitar, and started to play a bit.
It relaxed her, but not as much. She looked out of the window once more, it seemed, even though the day was beautiful everything else around it was gray. Everything was empty around her. "I've just realized..." She wrote in her journal. "That I'm really all alone here." She thought about the idea. "Crazy... just crazy...." She wrote, lying back on her bed and playing her worries away once more. She looked at the date on her phone. Just realizing. "In a few days, it will be the 13th anniversary of dad's death... the 16th of March." She said to herself, sighing. She didn't realize it was a trigger for herself. She started to relive that moment again, and cried out in pain, for it all to stop. She broke down on her bed, and tears ran down her face. She took a deep breath. She had to calm down. She just lied down, taking deeper and deeper breaths.
