The bus came and went, but Torvald was too frustrated to notice at the moment. The winds were getting cold, so he shifted himself further into his scarf and waited to get the right bus. Things went quiet as his mind became wracked with thoughts. He continually did things like this when he never meant it. When had talking with people become so hard, Torvald? You were never like this. It used to be so easy, especially with--

Professor Hennessey. What happened to her?
Torvald thought these as he slowly nodded away and fell asleep at the bus stop.

Fatime slowly nodded towards Julius, allowing herself to release a few tears in his presence. It was so comforting, to have someone like this ... where were the others? Ah ... When evening struck, Fatime curled slowly back into her bed, her mind now a bit more active and racing, resumed from the warmth and support that the wise lion-like Professor had given her. She looked back at the origami book. Would she be able to walk more again? Hm ...

She did not know what lay ahead, but she had to try her best and continue forward ...
Fatime nodded to herself and fell asleep, alone.

Now instead of going up to her and basically trying to hard to get the information out of her, Alex chose instead to leave her be. Maybe she would feel better about talking after some sleep. At least that's what he hoped would happen. So gently he closed the door and left her alone.

Now the second step was to find a place for him to sleep since Estelle didn't exactly inform him about the layout of the house. Oh well, he could manage fine on his own. While it took some searching for, he eventually found himself an empty room. Once it was found, he wasted no time heading inside and getting some sleep.

OOC: REALLY not in the mood for much due to personal troubles, I'll keep this short and get the point across.

Natalie wrapped her arms around Alex and bawled into his shoulder, explaining what her deal was between sobs. When she was finished, she looked at his wet shoulder. "Oh, sorry," she said, "I shouldn't have cried all over you."

After he was done comforting her, she looked around the room for something to do, but there wasn't anything. She should probably just go to bed, actually. All this angst made her tired. "Hey Alex? Are you staying the night? I'm kinda tired and need sleep, so thanks for coming, I guess. You're a sweetie... MY sweetie." Natalie looked down and gave a small smile. "Goodnight," she said to Alex, then she got into her bed and slept.

    ~

Lillian brushed her hair and checked for a call or text from Natalie on her phone. Nothing yet. She was likely being comforted by her friends. Ah well. As blunt as people saw Lillian, she did have a heart for these things. No one knew nor cared about her feelings because she was "just another rich and impolite person". She sighed, what a drag. Hopefully tomorrow would be better...

Sasha sighed and eventually left the Cafe, tipping the cashier before making her way out. All this talk depressed her. What was taking the results so long? She wanted to know...soon. How it would feel to perform out on stage like she used to.
Entering her home, she sighed and kicked off her shoes and made her way to her room. She got dressed in her sleeping outfit and slumped on the bed, falling asleep quickly and hoping for a less depressing tomorrow.

With a mere sigh the brown haired Jonathan arose from his bed and let out a groan as he scratched his head. Finding sleep last night was something that didn't really come easy, but he was at least glad he got some form of rest. With a yawn, Jonathan rose from his bed and head off to the showers in order to wake himself up and freshen himself for the day.

Refreshed from the shower, Jonathan made his way to the hospital once again. After a taxi ride he soon walked out and entered the building with a sigh. This feeling he felt was so painful, but he needed to endure. She was going to find out eventually, but he felt maybe it would be best that he found out from somebody in person.

Before he knew it, Jonathan was before the door that led to Noelle's room. He stood there with shaking hands even more nervous than before and after taking a deep breath, Jonathan calmed down and knocked on the door. "Hey umm Noelle? It me..." Jonathan said quietly.

Pierce had been home alone since early yesterday morning. Her mom had come home to find the both of them asleep on the couch which led to a number of questions, but then no punishment was handed out given the circumstances. She couldn't do this. Pierce had been up most of the night. Her mom had only come home yesterday to take a quick nap before returning to the hospital. She was working another seventeen hour shift. They were always understaffed during the holidays and people seemed to be more prone to injury when there were things to celebrate. Pierce had nowhere to go and after Oliver had left the morning before, she confined herself to her room. Pierce laid on her bed, dressed for a funeral. There wasn't one yet, but she thought that if she could at least get dressed today, then maybe she could make it out of her bedroom -- so far doubtful. There was an open bottle of rum on the nightstand that she had found in her mother's alcohol drawer -- apparently she restocked. Her face was flushed and her whole body felt really warm. There was a tingling sensation that ran up and down her body. She only did this when she was alone; a closet drinker. She sighed and picked up her phone. It slipped out of her hand for a second and she snatched it off the bed. Pierce rolled over onto her stomach. The television was on, but she didn't hear what was being said. There was cop show on or something, she really didn't know.

So what if it was still morning? Technically she hadn't stopped drinking. What started last night had gone well into today. Her mind was cloudy from the straight liquor and her thoughts jumbled. She missed Sophie. How could her best friend just be gone? Tears were smeared across her face as she pressed it to the pillow. Drinking wasn't really helping. She felt hollow and broken and like there was something seriously missing -- there was. The only person to ever go out of their way to befriend her was dead. How fair was that? She reached for the portrait of her father and hugged it close to her body. It made her feel just a tiny bit less alone. She had been having drunken monologues with the picture for hours. She just wanted to be held by her father one more time. He was supposed to be there in times like this to wipe away the tears and tell her everything would be all right. He wasn't. He never would be able to do that again, neither would Sophie. She choked out a sob.
Blood pounded in her ears and she opened the text thread she had with Oliver. She scrolled through it, reading over the old messages before coming to the most recent ones. She hadn't mustered the courage to say anything to him since he left. He probably didn't want to be around her like this. It wasn't like they were together. He had no obligations to comfort her. The sheer fact that he had stayed two nights ago was a miracle if anything. She squeezed the phone tightly between her warm clammy hands and exhaled a shuddering breath. She didn't do well with being alone. Pierce reached for the bottle and took another pull. Nothing to eat in twenty - four hours and plenty of alcohol consumed. Tears were running down her face as she set the bottle back down. The liquor didn't really burn her insides anymore as it made its way through her body. She was numb to pretty much everything.
Pierce opened and closed her mouth like she was about to say something, but had no one to say it too. Her room was a filthy mess and sheets were tangled into a ball on her bed. It reeked of alcohol and her long brown hair was matted together. The most she had managed to do was get dressed -- showering required a lot more work. Her hand flew to her mouth and she lunged herself off the bed, falling clumsily to the ground while doing so. Pierce stumbled to her feet and rushed to the bathroom. She grabbed the rim of the recently cleaned toilet and threw up. Her mouth tasted acidic and bile spewed out of her. That was cute. She flushed the toilet and brushed her teeth. Fortunately none of it got on her dress. She ran her hands down the front of it and smoothed out the wrinkles before returning to her bedroom. She felt like crap. Pierce wanted someone to take care of her. That was silly and childish. It was also very selfish. She had never been a selfish person. Everyone else always came before her in her eyes. Was it so much to ask for her to have the same treatment once in awhile? If only there was someone to take care of her. Her body flopped down onto the bed and she picked up the phone. Aside from her mother, there was only one person she had the ability to ask, and he would probably say no. If he did, then she would have to manage some other way.
Throwing up didn't stop her from taking another drink. Her phone jumped around in her hand. She could barely concentrate on the screen. The words were a hazy blur. Would she even get the right contact? She would clearly have to leave it up to chance. Pierce sniffled and wiped at her face with the back of her hand as she tried to type a message and pressed send. What did it even say? She honestly had no clue.

He wasn't feeling any better. As he slowly opened his eyes, he also began to regret not going to Freya's. Thinking of her made him feel a little... happy inside. It was odd, he never really noticed before, but he liked spending time with Freya. Perhaps it was just because they haven't really been hanging out much because he was too busy with the musical? The last time they met wasn't so great. She confessed, and he didn't exactly know what to do. Thinking about it made him tense up more. He felt the heat rise up to his cheeks and his heart beat faster. She did confess didn't she? And then she cried and he left her. Just like that.

A frown crossed his face. Now he felt bad again and when that happened it went from bad to worse very quickly. With that crazed mind of his, he began to recall of Bryan. Even thinking happy things about the boy made it worse. He remembered when Bryan first became a camp counselor and how great he handled it despite the tragic and horrific events that took place; how he was always such a good brother to his sister Noelle; and how he was so kind and cheerful and great. But now, he's dead.

He couldn't shake off the sadness, and he couldn't even imagine what his family was going through. He didn't want to. How was Noelle? Oh god, he couldn't begin to think about it. He suddenly felt really heavy inside and he felt like he was going to cry or something and he just wanted it to stop. He could feel his hands shaking and he frantically looked around his room for a quick remedy.

On his side table, he spots that his phone was flashing the little green light which meant he had a message. Was it Freya? He quickly sat up and grabbed it, opening it up and eagerly watching the screen as he looked down at this little strand of hope.

    1 UNREAD MESSAGE : MARIA

Not Freya? He wasn't exactly disappointed, but he wasn't completely lifted up by it either. Nonetheless, it was Maria! Perhaps she was ready to talk already. Oh that was definitely good news! He was tired of being so upset alone. Sean was comforting but something else had been bothering him apparently but Tucker ignored that because he couldn't seem to understand the loss of Bryan. Maria sure would! They were all close after all. He felt the tiniest bit better, thinking about it then quickly opened up the message.
    To: Tucker
    I can't. You don't get it. What
    happened to you Tucker? I
    thought things were getting
    better between us. I'm
    sorry for ruining everything. I
don't think we can stay friends
    after all. Not like this.

He didn't need to read it twice. His mouth gaped open as he stared blankly at the screen. He could feel his hands tremble. It seemed difficult to breathe. It felt like everything suddenly got quiet and all he could hear was his disappointing heartbeat. Tears welled in his eyes as he sat there in silence, not doing anything but just looking down at the response Maria gave to him.

After what felt like forever, he took in a deep, shaky breath and when he blinked his eyes the tears fell. His heart felt like it was rotting inside of him. The cherry haired man probably looked little of himself. There was no sparkle in his chestnut eyes, nor a smile (fake or not) that played at his lips and definitely not the bright aura that always seemed present.

He looked carefully at some of the words in the text. Some stood out more, particularly the line that went "I don't think we can stay friends after all." Tucker didn't understand. Things were getting so much better between them! Out of all the people in his group of friends, he told her about everything. Everything. They spent more time together and there was even a chance they would be working together at the shelter! She was right. He didn't get it. What happened? How could they not stay friends? What was happening that was different?

True, Maria seemed a lot more distant lately - especially the past three days. He was trying to think of something that happened, something he possibly did to have made this horrific thing unfold. He didn't understand it! It was beginning to feel harder to breathe. He was catching for air and tears were still falling from his eyes. He trusted Maria. A lot. What was going on?

A response wasn't exactly something he had in mind, and he couldn't think of anything good anyway. How could he? He felt really, really, really awful. He lost Bryan and now he had to lose Maria too? He dropped his phone to his side and placed a hand over his sore, wet, tired eyes. He was trying to make sense of it, sense of anything, in his mind but he just couldn't.

    'What happened? Why?'

He felt so alone again. In that dark, dark room where only punishment waited for him. That's what it felt like. He probably deserved it. What did he do to make Maria go away? He couldn't shake off the feeling, and he didn't think he could. Forcing himself to smile almost made him want to vomit. It felt utterly wrong. Knowing this, he picked up his phone and began to text.
    To: Freya
    Uh hey, I'm not canceling. I promise I won't,
but um, I'm sorry if I'm in a terrible mood
later today haha things aren't going so well.
But don't worry at all about me! Just
sorry if I'm not as chipper as usual lol

He didn't really know why he did that. A warning? Yeah, obviously. That's what it was after all. But he mostly just wanted to text her. He didn't really want to spill it all out on her and burden her with all his troubles but if he had to admit it, he was seeking out for comfort and he wanted it from Freya.

He moved on to his next text. He figured he wanted to speak with Erik for a moment but then he realized how even more upset he would be because he'd quickly and easily get reminded of Bryan. Plus Erik didn't exactly know much of what was going on since he's mostly been away. He was a buy man after all. So he decided to text someone else.

    To: Evan
Are you free? I really need someone to
talk to cause I don't know what's going
    on anymore.

"Achoo!" Seraphina sneezed, waking up from her slumber. Her temperature was still high, the rest of her body was cold, and she didn't get very much sleep. She sighed, still lying down in bed. "Breakfast in bed Miss." One of her staff opened the door. "Thank you." She said, putting the tray on her lap. She ate quickly, wanting to lie down a for a bit longer. "Lily says you must stay in your room today, Miss." The same staff worker said. "Thank you for the message. If we have company, please direct them up there." She told her. The Worker nodded, then leaving the room. She sent off a text to Shane.
    To: Shane
    From: Seraphina
Hello Shane, I hope you got home Ok last night. Unfortunately I'm running a fever, and they won't let me leave the house. You're welcome to come over though. It's kind of lonely being all by yourself all day...Hehe
She sent the text and got up out of bed. She went into her Bathroom and then starting to run a bath for herself. She stepped in up to the rim filled with bubble bath, feeling much better then she did this morning. She lied her head back, keeping her phone at the side of the tub. She through some of the bubbles in the air, laughing as they floated around the room. She sat back, thinking about last night. Had she'd been to forward? Probably not... She wondered if Shane had any past girlfriends. She wondered how many questions she could ask without getting too personal or making him annoyed. She turned on the tab and put more hot water in. She had a lot of time to think. She mentality made a list of questions in her head.
'Could I ask if he's a Virgin? Or would I be going a little bit too far?' She put her hand on her head. "Why would you even think about asking something like that Seraphinia? It sounds like you're just trying to-' She cut herself off. 'I was just curious.' She facepalmed. She guessed that was an ok question but it seemed like it was on a fine line. She would just let him ask any questions and try to make conversation without blurting stuff out, talking was not normally this hard. But this was so different she had no idea if what she said was ok or out of line, her friends back home didn't care but she didn't know what was right and wrong here. She lied back on the bathtub's rim and tried to clear her head.

Estelle woke up, she remember that she must've fell asleep on the couch. She got up, and starting cooking. After she was finished making toast, eggs and a few more things to go along with breakfast, she put them on the living room table and went to start a wake up call. She went up to Where Nat was staying first.
She opened the door. "Good Morning." She said, turning the light on. "I hope you slept ok." She said, looking around. "Where's Alex?" She asked. "He didn't sleep in here with you?" Estelle laughed. "Anyway, Breakfast is on the living room table, sooo come down whenever you're ready." She smiled. Then she went hunting for Alex. She went down stairs.
"Hey Vega, where did Alex go last night?" She asked. "In MY room." Vega said angrily. "I came up stairs after I closed up the shop and HE was already asleep. Damn boy, I had to sleep in Stella's room and I didn't sleep a wink, she doesn't stay much but she was sleep talking all night I'm not in a very good mood." Vega snapped at her, then going back into the back room. Estelle laughed so hard, she had to sit down, then she went up stairs and started eating. "How did you guys sleep?" Estelle asked them.

    WEATHERSNOWING 30°! ✖『DATE & TIME』 12/30/2015 - ???PM ✖『DAY』 11

Hey, umm, Noëlle? It's me ... This time she was wide awake. A doctor had come in about twenty minutes prior to Jonathan's arrival letting her know she was free to go and giving her a prescription for some painkillers. She was sitting on the edge of her hospital bed, staring at her phone with a somewhat annoyed expression.

There was no way she would be taking the bus home, but neither Bryan nor her mother were answering their phones. It was ... strange, and a bit worrisome. It was safe to say she completely regretted using Cupid's Brew. She called Joey, who answered, but quickly stated that he had something to do before hanging up with her.

She could ask Jonathan to give her a ride but that made her a bit nervous!

Come in, Jonathan. She smiled when he entered. It really was rather sweet of him to be checking on her like this ... Good morning.

" AND SO IT BEGINS... "

Erik sat at his piano bench strumming his fingers over the glossy white keys. The piano was probably the most expensive thing in the house. He didn't play a lot of video games and his furniture was primarily from thrift shops. He had been busy lately preparing his school assignments for the spring semester. Classes would be starting again in three days and he needed to have everything perfect. Some sheet music sat on the stand and there was a cigarette half hanging out of his mouth. A pencil was stuck behind his ear and he was working on composing something new to play at Bryan's funeral, whenever a date would be set for it. Erik was trying his best to pour as much emotion in the piece as possible, which was difficult at best since he wasn't a very outwardly emotional kind of guy.

He had been up all night and now there were dark circles under his eyes. His hair was greasy and sticking up in all directions. He needed a shower. The ashtray rested on top of the piano and he put out his cigarette. Erik had no intentions of sleeping, but he should at least make himself presentable.

He got in the shower, having completely forgot the pencil was behind his ear. When it fell onto the tub floor, a tired chuckle escaped him and he bent to pick it up, setting it down on the corner rack. When he was finished, Erik felt remotely better. Being clean was rejuvenating. He wrapped the towel around his waist and walked to his bedroom across the hall. He needed to get out of his house. He had been cooped up in there for days. After he pulled on a pair of boxers and sat down on the edge of the bed, he reached for his phone. He had been talking to Tuck and the cherry haired red - head sounded like he was taking this a lot worse, which was understandable. Tucker was closer to Bryan than he. The three of them and Julius had become fairly close after everything that happened, but with Tuck and Bryan being closer in age, they had bonded more.

Erik remembered the state Tuck was in when he first got accepted to Fortissimo. He was a junior and the red head a freshmen. So many people had horrible things to say to him when it wasn't the fourteen - year - old's fault. Kids should never have to take blame for the actions of their parents. When he made the conscious decision to stand up for him nearly ten years ago, Erik swore to himself to never let anyone make Tucker feel that bad again. From the sounds of their text conversation yesterday, he was slowly starting to revert back to his old self.

He finished dressing and shot the younger guy a message quickly before returning to his piano to finish working on the song. It would be an entirely instrumental piece. Erik felt he could convey more emotion without words.

    To: Tuck
    Hey. Drinks tonight.
    You and me. Won't

Freya stood in a dark room, there were no lights anywhere, she couldn't see the figure, she tried to call out to it, but there was no answer. She sat there for god knows how long, calling out for anyone anything...nothing. Freya was ready to give up on everything.

She snapped awake. What was that dream? What did it mean? She wished she knew.

Think we can make it a little earlier? Like, 5? Been a rough day, I don't really want to be alone. I'll help you cook : )

She felt like she was going to throw up. She quickly dialed Tucker to apologize. When he answered, he didn't quite sound like himself, but he tried to put on a happy demeanor for her. She could tell, and it hurt her.

Tucker, I'm so sorry! I-I don't even know what happened, please, forgive me!

Despite the fact that he understood, and forgave her almost instantly, she still felt horrible about the whole ordeal. She had to do something to make it up to Tucker, but she didn't know what.

Tucker, would you like to come over today, then? I promise today I'll make you your favorite meal.

Freya couldn't help but feel sick, even after Tucker agreed to come over. She knew that normally she wouldn't be this wound up over something like this, especially since she knew it had been an accident, and Tucker had forgiven her, but there was something else, something bigger that made her guilt so much worse. She decided to get ready for the day. About halfway through her shower she felt so nauseous she had to vomit. It would have been a much worse endeavor, but she hadn't had anything to eat in over 24 hours. Perhaps that was why she felt so sick...perhaps some breakfast...

Evan woke up that morning feeling weird. He wasn't entirely filled with boundless energy he normally had and that pep of his wasn't entirely at its brightest. Perhaps all that had gone on recently was taking it's toll a little bit on Evan. Not so much the deaths as all of his friends being in some sort of depressed state and only drifting farther down into it. Though now that everyone was depressed that only meant that white haired man had a large job to do. And that would be to get everyone as happy as possible. It was a large job and someone had to do it. Hopefully though, as experiences in the past have shown, that people can also get angry at his tries at help. But a quitter doesn't get any where and Evan was by no means a quitter. With that prospect in mind he got out of bed and decided to do his best to cheer up everyone, one person at a time. Of course this means he'd have to start with Ria since she was already here and he'd already been attempting to cheer her up for the past few days. Looking in the mirror he realized something was off though. It was of course that he was in his bed wear of boxer shorts and had messed up bed head. Though what was wrong never clicked in his mind so he just went about his place as usual.

Evan eventually got into his kitchen and made some breakfast for the two of them. This time it was bacon, pancakes and sausages. He tried to think of what to drink with breakfast, since he was physically unable to make coffee, and had to consider what Ria liked as well. Eventually he poured a glass of orange juice and water for her, since who doesn't love orange juice? Once breakfast had finished cooking he put it on the table in front of the couch, as he had done the morning before, so it would be right there for Ria when she woke up. For himself he just ate at his kitchen/dining room area table again.

He noticed that his phone had gone off and someone had texted him. The texter being none other than Cherry Red. He wanted to see if the both of them could hang out and talk today. Well Evan did like the idea of talking with his red head pal, but Ria had to take precedence right now since she was sort of in his house. He was stuck in quite the dilemma and seeing as Cherry Red had left Ria, leaving Evan to be her knight in white, he had no real clue how she'd take him hanging out with Cherry Red right now. A bit at a loss he simply texted back:

[Yo Cherry Red, I'd love to talk with you, buuuuut I got something to take care of first, maybe later today.]

With the message sent Evan went back to eating his breakfast, hoping he could get his "make everyone happy" to work. After all it was already off to a rough start.

Maria awoke to the sweet aroma of breakfast two mornings in a row. The plate on the coffee table felt a lot more warm than it had the day before and she figured Evan must have just set it down. There was a glass of orange juice and another of water sitting beside the breakfast. She smiled down at the meal and picked up a strip of bacon, savoring the flavor in her mouth. Maria pulled the blanket snug around herself and reached for her phone. There was nothing new and she felt slightly dead inside over the fact that Tucker never responded. It was for the best really. Whatever he had going on clearly needed to be worked out without her constantly bothering him. She bit down on her lip before taking a bite of pancake.

Her gaze lifted to the television, just now noticing the ' Out of Order ' sign that had been taped to the screen. As if she would make that mistake a second time! Although, it was kind of Evan to do that for her. Would he keep it up even after she left? The prospects made her snort in laughter. She was actually starting to feel too comfortable here at Evan's and was beginning to not want to leave. If she had EAP with her, then there would be no need to go back to the apartment she shared with her older brother. She tried to push back those thoughts. Maria couldn't keep crashing on Evan's couch. She had to face reality at some point in time.

She took a shaky breath and stared down at her phone. Telling Tucker that it was probably best for them not to be friends was more painful than dealing with Bryan's death. As she nibbled on a sausage link, she decided to send a message to Noëlle. Her friend had to be devastated right now. Maria was actually a little surprised to not have heard from the other girl about her brother's passing, unless she was just too distraught to speak to anyone right now. She licked her lip and typed quickly before setting the phone down.

    To: Noëlle
Hey. Are you out of the hospital yet?
I can't imagine how you are taking
things right now. I was thinking
about coming over tomorrow. Do you
think you'll be able to manage some
company? I'm so sorry for you, hon.

Maria sighed and slipped out of the blanket. She lifted up her dishes in one arm and carried them to the kitchen. She still didn't have much of an appetite, even for having eaten virtually nothing in a couple days. When she entered the room, her cheeks burned briefly at the sight of Evan. Maria hadn't expected to walk in on him so under dressed -- not that it bothered her. He most certainly wasn't the first male she had seen in only boxers, or less ... Maria cleared her throat and set the dirty dishes down on the counter. She couldn't help but smile a little how disheveled his person was.

"You look good like that," she commented with a playful wink. "Being almost completely naked suits you Evan." It was the first spirited thing she had said all week. Maria gave him a small smile and came a seat near him. She folded her hands on the counter in front of herself and watched as he ate. "If you're getting sick of having me, I can go." It was probably time for her to leave anyway. His presence just weirdly made her feel less lonely.

Maria had never really been lonely per se, but with the way her life has been crashing apart; she couldn't help but think that she was one small accident away from death. Hopefully that wouldn't happen with her bed - head white knight. She smiled again at the thought.

Morning so came and Alex found himself laying on the bed that he'd found last night. He still wasn't quite sure who's room this was but the bed was comfortable enough so he didn't worry about it too much. Instead he made his way of the bed and left the room.

Alex was nearing the stairs when he could overhear Estelle talking.

"Hey Vega, where did Alex go last night?"

    "In MY room." Vega

Well that answer the 'who's room was he in' question and clearly she wasn't happy about it either. Maybe he could avoid making things any worse with her if he didn't say anything to her. It was definitely worth a shot. Seeing as how Estelle was heading back up the stairs, he made his way towards the living room table.

    "How did you guys sleep?"

"Okay." He replied. That was all he had to say on the subject at the time.

The man simply sat on his bed for a while. His left elbow was propped on his raised knee with his hand over his crying eyes, while his right leg lay flat on the bed and his right arm limp on his side. He was breathing heavily and shakily as tears rolled down his cheeks. In his right hand was his phone that was silent for a while. His entire room was silent. The only noise coming from the not-so-busy streets outside and his semi-silent sobbing.

His heart was aching. He didn't understand it at all. What happened? He still couldn't figure it out, all he knew was that it hurt. Everything felt dark and cold and painful - no, that wasn't that accurate. Everything felt lonely. He felt abandoned. It wasn't just the sadness he felt from Bryan's death because of the horrible accident but this whole Maria situation. It wasn't like Bryan left on purpose, heavens no, but Maria? This wasn't a joke. If it was, then this still definitely wasn't something to laugh about.

He couldn't help feeling and thinking that this is what happened to anyone he trusted. They're there and then they aren't. They betray you. They leave you. That's how it always was for him. His father, who he thought was great and loving and trusting, betrayed him and ruined his life. All those kids in Middle School and High School who bullied him severely once they found out what type of a man his father was. Now, Maria too... He thought she was different. Like, really, really actually thought she'd be different but it was obvious that he was wrong. Very, very wrong.

    BZZ! BZZ! BZZ!

The vibrations by his right hand alarmed him, almost causing him to jump. He quickly looked down at his phone, hoping Evan would respond soon because he was already at the edge on this.
    To: Tuck
    Hey. Drinks tonight.

    You and me. Won't

    take no for an answer.

He grimaced. Not only was it not the white-haired friend of his but it was Erik. Tucker couldn't help not wanting to be with him for a moment. They were kind of a group: himself, Erik, Bryan, Julius and then sometimes joined by Maria and Torvald. He didn't feel like associating himself with people associated with Maria at the moment, thinking that they'd be the same. It was really wrong of him to think that, especially of someone like Erik - who was always out for him... but he was scared. He already felt so awful. He wasn't exactly planning to feel betrayed and lonely again.

He gripped his phone tightly and bit down on his lip. Should he go? It was Erik. The one who stood up for him countless times, especially when he first got to Fortissimo. The dark haired older male was like the older brother Tucker never had. It would probably help if he did talk to him, but... but... but that sick feeling inside of him! He couldn't shake it off! It was horrible but it was true! It was-

    INCOMING CALL : FREYA

His eyes widened as he looked down at the screen. He gulped down the sob that tempted to escape and quickly used his shirt to wipe his eyes. He snuffled a bit and took a deep breath before answering, trying his best to sound as happy as he could even if it made him feel sick "H-hey Freya!"

Tucker, I'm so sorry! I-I don't even know what happened, please, forgive me!

The teenager exploded in those apologies. He gulped down another sob and sniffle, letting a smile cross his face. It was honestly kind of cute how frantic she sounded. Could she tell he was upset? She really hoped not. Perhaps she just felt bad for all this delay on their meeting. "N-no, it's fine! You did nothing wrong. Not at all. You're great. It's fine."

He flushed a bit after realizing what he said but the small smile remained on his lips. Wow, he felt a little better already. Good thing he did decide to text her earlier. He pulled both of his knees close to his chest and leaned forward on them. Listening intently on what she said next,

Tucker, would you like to come over today, then? I promise today I'll make you your favorite meal.

He straightened up, his mood almost immediately lifting. He sniffled once more, then quickly responded. "Oh sure, sure! Yeah! I'll go in a while then. Thank you." Thank you? He meant see you! Ugh. But with that the call ended. He still felt a little sick inside but he couldn't help feeling the tiniest bit happy. Since her voice had gone from his ears, his smile faded as well and it went back to being feeling wrong to smile or be happy. Freya was a vert sweet girl and he knew she could put a smile on his face at one point though. He really hoped his mood would improve by the time he was at her place. He really didn't want to trouble her with his problems.

He looked back down at his phone and realized there was a new message, and this time it was from Evan.

    From Evan:
[Yo Cherry Red, I'd love to talk with you, buuuuut I got something to
take care of first, maybe later today.]

He quickly sent replies back, to both Evan and Erik, knowing what to do now. He wiped all his tears away and pressed down on his tired eyes. He took a couple deep breaths to calm himself down and then he opened up their conversations and began to type.

    To: Erik
    Okay see you later
    To: Evan
Oh okay. It's fine. Sorry for bothering you.
I don't know about later. I'll be with Erik.
Good luck with whatever you're dealing with

He made sure that both of the messages sent before he hopped into the shower, got dressed into something new and then left his apartment.

He arrived at Freya's home. He took more time driving than he probably should have, attempting to lift his moods by listening to some of his favourite music on the way and driving slowly. It didn't really seem to work. He parked his car and walked out to ring her doorbell. He waited outside for a while, when she came to answer the door, he gave her a smile and breathed out with a nervous wave, "H-hi."[DOUBLEPOST=1378037895][/DOUBLEPOST][IMG]

The blue haired teen woke to a pleasant morning. The sun creeped into her window through her sheer curtains and rested on the white, flowery comforters on her bed and carpeted floor. She slowly opened her eyes and stretched. Her slumber was absolutely rejuvenating! She felt like she was waking up to a new spring day, even though it was still pretty much winter.

She rested her hands over the comforter that draped over her body and up to her chest as she stared at the pastel walls of her room. Hm, she wondered what she would do today. The weather was getting better. She felt totally energized and she felt really happy - especially from yesterday.

She threw the covers off from her body and leaped off from her bed. She sat at her computer chair and opened up her laptop. Since she finally updated her blog after quite a time, there seemed to be more messages and notifications than usual. She smiled and began to read through them, responding to them as well.

Half way through the messages, she leaned back on her chair and stretched some more, then quickly grabbed her phone which unlike her computer, was completely void of notifications. Hm. That was quite strange. With a raised eyebrow and scrunched lips, she opened her text inbox and it immediately opened to the conversation between her and her best friend.

It was weird not waking up to a good night text from her best friend. She always fell asleep before Richie and so he would text him goodnight last and she would text him good morning first - so they both woke up to sweet little messages. However there was none today. Sure, she had forgotten herself last night because she was too busy trying to keep her blog to date and ended up falling asleep much sooner than she intended but he still didn't send her a text! She pouted. Perhaps he was busy too. Yup, that was probably it!

Her little pout didn't disappear though. She was worried because when Richie woke up yesterday he seemed pretty off. When she fell asleep he seemed fine, and he seemed to have a good sleep when she woke up. All this energy probably made her over think this entire ordeal. She sat there, thinking for a moment, before she looked back down at her phone and began to type into the opened conversation.

    To: Richie
Hey babe good good good morning!! ^ o ^
How are you? You seemed a bit off
yesterday which is absolutely ng! no
goodie! Let's have Hibachi for brunch!
I'm going to come over and we're going
to go and have a fabulous last day of
    2015, okay? Make sure you're awake! I'll
    be there in like, 20 heheh ~ o 3 o

For a second she wanted to include spending the day as a Golden Trio - which meant, Ryder included, but she figured she could just say that when she got to the Duvont's. Plus she felt overly giddy and ridiculous when she looked over at Ryder's contact thinking of texting him herself. So instead she closed her laptop, picked out some clothes, grabbed her make up and headed to the bathroom to get ready.

She decided to go and walk to the Duvont's since the weather was really great. As she exited the front door after tying the laces of her black sneakers and dusting off her large striped sweater, her mother seemed to call out for her. She wasn't so sure why but it was probably just her wondering where she was off to. She quickly mentioned she was leaving for Richie's and headed out the door immediately, ready to start her morning walk with a smile.

Once she got to the Duvont's household after much walking (she was very thankful it wasn't a hot summer day or she would have never survived) she fixed herself up a bit more by running her fingers through her hair and straightening her thick sweater before she rang the door bell and waited patiently outside.

The next morning, Natalie woke up to Estelle asking millions of questions.
"Where's Alex? He didn't sleep in here with you?"

Why did that matter? But yeah, it was odd. She had asked him to stay in the same room. Maybe he just figured he'd leave her alone instead of grilling her about everything.

"Anyway, Breakfast is on the living room table, sooo come down whenever you're ready."

Breakfast sounded nice right about now... Natalie could hear her stomach growling. She nodded and got out of bed. Going to the corner where she left her bag, she rifled through it and realized that Amelia had packed $100 and a note:

    Nat-

I packed you $100 to last you a week or so. Try not to spend it all in one place, little one. Even if you come home before all your resources are exhausted, the money is yours. You're no longer a little kid, I'm just used to you being one. You're a young woman, and smart enough to make your own decisions. However, you will always be my baby sister and the little one to me.
Rory and I love you, little one. And we'll always be here for you.

    Love from Amelia+Rory

Tears streamed down her eyes as she realized the basic rite of passage she had practically been given. She wiped her eyes and got dressed, then went downstairs.

    "Good morning!" She greeted everyone.

Shane's morning had started off like it normally would. He showered, got dressed, and headed back to his room. What he did afterwards was load up a game on his phone while it was plugged in. Last thing he wanted was for his phone to die mid game, especially if he'd hadn't save. The starship like game loaded up and Shane begun to play.

A couple of minutes passed and he was fully engrossed in his game until the message icon popped up in the corner of the screen. Probably if it wasn't for that, he never would've notice that he had a text.

Considering what she was wearing yesterday, it's not much of a surprise that she'd ended sick. Still it might've been preventable or mitigated if he'd noticed it sooner.

Returning to his paused game, he pondered about what to do. There was still a possibility that his parent or more likely his father would start asking questions about where he was going. At with all the times he's teased him about having a girlfriend, and he'd rather avoid telling him that's he's been hanging out with a girl all this time.

He sat on his bed thinking for a few for minutes before making his decision. Making sure to grab himself a jacket, he left his home hand headed towards Seraphina's place.

"Ya know, I realized today, that it's New Years Eve." Estelle said. "Ahhh the last day of 2015." Estelle sighed, drinking her morning Hot Chocolate.

"It's tradition that we make lanterns and let them go into the sky, right when it strikes Midnight. My sister, the youngest, she says that they hold the New Years wishes, and you send them off to the gods. Something like that anyway. It's probably just a tale, but I think thats it's pretty cool." Estelle said smiling.

"Anyway, what are you guys going to do tonight?" Estelle asked looking over at Alex.

"Normally couples would do SOMETHING on New Years." Estelle winked at Nat, then laughed to herself, coughing a little bit. "I'm just kidding, but seriously you guys should go do something, it's technically your first New Years together." Estelle said, twirling her hair.
She lied back onto the couch, there wasn't really anything for her to do tonight, and she didn't want to ruin their date. She rather them leave and do something coupleish instead staying around here. She smiled at them, they would have a lot of fun, she hoped. It would also get Nat's mind off things for a bit

Seraphina got out of the bath, drying her hair, and pulling a few pins in. She changed back into her clothes and sat back down onto the bed. She took out one of her Grandfathers old journals and started reading.

She heard the front door chime. She called the front foyer. "Yes your Grace?" She heard Lily pick up the phone. "I heard the door, please, sent my company up here to my room." Seraphina said sweetly. "Yes your grace." She said, closing the phone.

Lily opened the door, "Hello, you must be Shane, we've been expecting you." She said, starting to make way to the room, and urging him to follow. The staffworkers went around them, or waited for them to past. There were many. One even bumping into Lily causing a bit of a stare down. She stopped when she got to the door. It had Seraphina's full name on a golden plaque and then the golden seemed to crawl down the door, making vines with roses all the way down. "Right through here love." She said, then turning away and going back down stairs.
Seraphina waited a few seconds, then opening the door and letting him in. "Hello Shane." She said, sitting back down on the bed, and motioning for him to sit beside her. Her eyes sparkled happily and she smirked. "I'm feeling much much better, I really should be more careful though shouldn't it?" She laughed. "Sorry about the busyness around, I hope you were able to even get up there ok." Seraphina laughed.
"My parents are hosting a small get together tonight, and everyone is running around." She said. She put her hand on his shoulder and moving it down his arm slowly. "Maybe you could stick around for a bit, if you don't have any plans for New Years that is." She said, as she put her hand back in her lap, and smiled shyly.

    DATE⁞ Thursday, December 31st, 2015 DAY⁞ 11 2/4

    WEARING OOC⁞

Ryder was standing in his bedroom with a towel wrapped around his waist as he uncharacteristically tried to decide what to wear. Normally he would just put on whatever looked relatively clean, but today he was on a mission. He had come to the resolve of really testing out this whole Cupid's Brew, thing. After having poured it into Elisa's drink, he had done nothing about it. There were a few awkward glances between them that were not normal, but that was about it. With today being New Year's Eve, and it being all romantic and fireworks and whatever ( vomit! ); he decided he was going to ask Elisa to do something with him -- just him. There would be no Richie. It wouldn't be Richie and Elisa with Ryder invited to tag along. Nope.

He put on some -- Ryder approved -- nice clothes. Ryder wasn't exactly a dressy kind of guy and this was probably the best he could do without throwing on a downright tuxedo. That would be a little over the top. Plus, Elisa was bound to take a bajillion pictures and he wanted to look normal in them. Okay, he was probably getting ahead of himself. He still needed to ask her to go with him in the first place. He sighed and spritzed on a small amount of the cologne sitting on his dresser. It had been a birthday gift last year and had been used a whopping three times since then. The bottle looked pretty much untouched.

He sat down on the edge of the bed and raked his fingers through his hair. Ryder was actually pretty nervous. He had never actually asked out a girl that was so close to him. If things didn't go well then it could make everything weird from now on. Plus, what if she misinterpreted and thought it was just them hanging out, not a date. He sighed. Okay. He just needed to text her.

Ryder clicked on Elisa's name and began to compose a message.

    To: Elisa
Hey, u wana do somethin 2nite?
Just the 2 of us. W/o Richie.
    There's fireworks @ the park
    and

    He erased it.

    To: Elisa
    I was thinkin, that maybe u &
    I could go out 2nite & watch
the fireworks display @ the park.
Just us. I no u like 2 do things
as a group, but I thot it could be
    like

Nope. He sighed and threw his phone across the bed. It landed softly on a pillow and he laid back, draping an arm over his eyes. He had never felt so nervous asking a girl out before. Ryder had also never had an issue asking Elisa to do something with him, mostly because it wasn't in this manner. He groaned and rolled over on his side.

There was a distant knock coming from the front door and he crawled out of bed, lumbering his way down the stairs. Who was here? He certainly wasn't expecting anyone. When he opened the door, Ryder was almost possessed to shut it immediately -- slamming it in Elisa's face. He kept his hand on the doorknob and took a shaky breath. "Oh. Hey Elisa," he greeted her, stepping out of the way for her to enter the house. "Richie didn't say you were coming over."

Ryder scratched at the back of his neck nervously and closed the door. No better time then now. He glanced around quickly to make sure none of his family was lurking about. When she had her shoes off, he cleared his throat and ran his fingers through his hair some more. All right. Ryder glanced around once more before pulling her aside. "Hey um... Elisa. I uh, I was wondering --" Geez. He shook his head. "-- I was wondering if tonight, you and I could uh, do something together. Just the two of us? You see," he took a deep breath without exhaling, "they're having fireworks at the park for the new year and I thought maybe we could go ... together? Like a ... like ... " It just one word and yet it seemed impossible to say. He quickly looked away, his face flushed, and locked his hands together at the back of his head. "date." Ryder wasn't even sure he managed to choke out the word. It was so quiet the odds of Elisa having heard it were slim to none. His heart was racing in his chest and his Adam's Apple bobbed up and down as he swallowed nervously.

That voice, that smile, it was so soothing but heart-wrenching at the same time. He didn't want this, he didn't want to ruin the smile of a cute innocent girl and though he steeled his heart, it began to instantly falter at the same time. Why did he feel this? he only met the girl in person two days ago, was it because Julius told him to tell her this? No...at wasn't because of that...it would be hard to merely tell a stranger such things. Maybe it was cause he heard all the wonderful things Julius told him about her, and the pleasant time he had with her in the mere two days...maybe it was because he was able to help her when she needed it.

Regardless of the chaos in his mind, Jonathan gave the girl a warm smile in return "Good Morning Noelle" Jonathan said before he walked up to her and took a seat next to the bed she resided in. "I'm glad to see your doing much better than before" Jonathan said with the smile still on his face before he let out a mere sigh. "Noelle...I told you yesterday I had something I needed to tell you...its about that crash...." Jonathan began.

"You know how I told you how your bus crashed into two cars?......the people in the cars didn't survive..." Jonathan said closing his eyes "In the first car was a girl named Sophie Bennet and a boy named Lucas Cygnette..." Jonathan began as his eyelid began to clench tightly at the next part. "In the second car...was a boy.....his name was....." Jonathan said grasping his hair "....Im sorry...His name was Bryan Chambers..." Jonathan said.
