    Location:<>Clothes<>Song<>Mood: <>OOC: I accidentally posted three of these forms that I usually do for all my characters. ;~;

Stratana had bustled towards the circle as fast as she could manage. All along as she walked through the camp, it felt like something was watching her; she was, at times, right. A sparrow that had been dislocated by the fire and driven towards camp had taken interest to the bright yellow coloring on her shirt, but generally stayed put as Stratana made her way closer and closer to safety. Cold winds blew across her bare stomach and up her shirt, sending her into an all out freeze.

It wasn't long before she found civilization where everyone else had gathered. As soon as she passed into the door, a young man flew to her side with an offering of a blanket. Glad to be warm and dry, she took it without a word, more out of shock than rudeness this time, and scarcely noticed as the boy seemed to not care; he was too busy admiring others things about her. As soon as she was covered, she looked around and tried to find Tucker or the others in her Cabin, just as she heard her's named and told they would be put into group 1. 'Group 1 for what?' Stratana wondered. Carelessly and half-awake, she cuddled into the blanket and looked about it; big mistake.

What she noticed about it sent her into a frightfully bad mood and made a vein on her forehead pulse with agitation. Right there, on the back of the blanket, was a poke'ball. 'Can't escape from this Haunter- I MEAN- Haunted Nightmare!' She cried on the inside.

Maybe... she could. They probably weren't going back to their cabins anytime soon, so, with heavy burdened legs, she wandered with the rest to Cabin 1, chose a room, (One already occupied by that one blue haired chick) and stretched out on a bed there and bundled herself into a cocoon. "What? CATERPIE is evolving!" Said the Dex in her head, but she didn't care. She just wanted to sleep; soon, she found it. "JIGGLPUFF used SI-" 'SHUDDUP!' Stratana dreamt herself throwing a Pokedex across an open field, standing in a patch of tall grass.
In her dream, she huffed and puffed following her chucking the tiny device, only to find herself being beset by a swarm of dream Weedles. Dream Stratana screamed as her Pokemon nightmare began, lasting until morning. Outwardly, this caused her body to kick and trash about throughout the evening.

When Erik directed them inside, Sean heaved to his feet and tried to stay steady. He had barely made it a few feet forward when a tiny hand grabbed his left mitt. Sean looked down in momentary surprise to see Jenna latched onto him, almost looking like she'd tie her legs around his leg if she could muster up the strength.
"Awww, that is so cute." Said the EMT from earlier, as she packed up her things, headed to the next emergency. "Looks like you have yourself a Guardian angel, there kiddo." She gave a wink of one of her two vibrantly misty blue eyes before departing, leaving Sean speechless ever since Jenna had attached herself to him.
"I'm still scared; you're like the incredible Hulk, or Thor, so I'm sticking with the Hero." Jenna stated nonchalantly. 'Hero'. Between his assholic pranks and asinine attempts at whoring around, Sean had never heard the word directed at him. Still... if this kid needed a hero, and really thought that about him, why not take up the mantle.
"You got it. You have yourself... a Guardian angel." Sean muttered, disbelieving such words were coming out of his mouth. Something had changed within him when he sprang to catch Jenna as she fell.

Wiping the vomit from his lips, Sebastian followed the others indoors. With an outwardly blank expression, inside he was tearing himself apart. It wasn't who he could see, because what worried him was who he couldn't. Sebastian accepted a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate as he wrapped the former over his shoulders. Deep circles had appeared under his eyes, and his skin had gone deathly pale, even feeling lighter, if that was possible.
His skin was crawling as he thought back at how crazy everything had gotten all so suddenly. Now there was something about going home? Sebastian sighed in relief as this idea sounded like best he could dream for. It wasn't the best last year send-off, but at least the safety of dispersing would bring a faster recovery to the tragedy that had just occurred. Sebastian just wondered about Shouta in the meantime... he hadn't seen him yet, but others he had seen were being rushed to the Westerfields hospital.

Erik stood behind his two campers. He appeared years older than he was. His body was tense with anxiety and it didn't ease one bit when Garth took stepped out into the center. Where the hell was Kevin? His shoulders tensed further and he was grinding his teeth as the room quieted down and Garth started talking. "46% OF THE FOREST HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DESTROYED." Erik looked at the stunned faces of some of the campers. They clearly did not realize how much devastation there was. He sighed. This was going to be bad. "...THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE IS STILL UNKNOWN." Garth didn't need to shout so much. This was serious, but yelling at a bunch of kids wasn't going to change what happened. His chocolate eyes continued to scan the area. Where the hell was Kevin? He should be the one talking to everyone, not Garth.

"...SENDING YOU HOME EARLY. TOMORROW MORNING..." He saw that one coming. There was no way the kids could stay here with all this destruction. Not to mention that once their parents found out, they would be pulling them out left and right. It looks like we're going to have a huge mess to clean up once all the campers are gone. He shook his head and ran his fingers through his grimy thick hair. "...GROUPS WILL BE MERGED. GROUP A, B, C, D, AND E WILL BECOME GROUP 1..." Erik stopped listening after that. He set a firm hand on both a shoulder for each of his campers. A, B, C, D, and E... That would put him with that big new guy Julius, Tucker, Sam, and Bryan. Where was Tucker?

His gaze now searched for the familiar red-headed counselor. He couldn't see him anywhere. He didn't see the big guy named Julius either. That left Sam, Bryan, and him with... he wasn't sure how many campers exactly. He didn't even know which ones were in A and B. Erik stepped away from his two campers that seemed to be talking quietly to each other. "Can I use this chair for a minute?" he asked one of the boys nearby. The kid quickly hopped out of the chair and stepped aside. Erik climbed on top of it so that he towered over everyone else. He cupped his hands over his mouth and called out into the room of chatting people. "ALL CAMPERS FROM A AND B COME MEET BY ME. IF YOU'RE IN C OR E, MAKE SURE YOU FIND YOUR COUNSELOR." There. He climbed down from the chair and let the kid sit back down on it. Now they could make sure they got everyone that was inside the loft rounded up to head to the larger cabin they would be assigned to.

It had only been a few days since Brent had gotten to the Camp when all of this commotion happened. He had applied for this job not too long ago, realizing it would allow him to meet other musically talented people. Brent had been assigned as the counselor to Cabin F, and he had hoped to make his time there, as well as his cabin's, memorable. He had no idea just how memorable it would be.

At the time, he had been goofing around in his cabin. He was humming tunes to himself, not really caring what was going on. He knew there was a scavenger hunt going on, but he didn't much care for it. Brent held no desire to go out into the woods and dirty his hands to look for random trinkets that would possibly hold no meaning to him, or anyone. He thought it was unnecessary, though he would've gone if his cabin pushed him to, because he wanted them to have fun. As long as they had fun, it would be worth it, he thought.

Now, after everything had happened, and most of the forest had been burned down, he thought that he was lucky that he was still in the Cabin with his group when it started. He was worried about what had happened. How did this happen? He thought as he paced the floor in the loft. Despite everything, he tried to maintain his composure in the hopes that he could help people to relax.

"QUIET!" A loud voice had broken his train of thought, Oh dear, what's going on? His eyes fell on Garth, hoping that he would find some stuff out. He had looked at some of the students that giggled before he continued. "... PRESENTLY, A HANDFUL OF YOUR PEERS ARE EITHER MISSING, HOSPITALIZED, OR DEAD..." He tuned out after hearing the first part of the announcement. As Garth continued, Brent had quietly commented to himself, "Oh my, some of these kids are already knockin' on Heaven's Door. How unfortunate." He did want this to be a memorable experience, but not at the cost of other's lives.

Aislin kept trying to insist she could walk herself in rather than have them pull out a wheel chair and roll her in there, but no one was listening to her. She was getting sick of all the control and attempted to rip off her oxygen mask when they weren't focused on that. When it was off she found everything horrid to breath and all of her pain rushed into her body at once.
The medics put the mask back on her and as she was pushed into the emergency ward she finally had a good look at herself. Her legs were horribly burned, one part of her leg so bad she didn't even want to look at it. She looked at her free falling hair and saw the burns on the tips. She felt her back start to hurt and her face felt hot.

Eventually she allowed the medics to just take over and she stopped struggling for control.

Arms wrapped tightly around one of Bryan's, Noëlle stood and exited the loft. They were being allowed to grab their belongings before heading to the larger cabins to the East of the Camp Circle. Noëlle had asked him to come with her, and he complied, with a few words to their now much-larger group. Camp leaders, policemen and firefighters crowded the once tranquil camp groups. The campfire had been put out, and tall electronic lanterns were switched on instead, giving the nearby river a cool orange glare.

She knew she was being clingy, but now wasn't the time to put a cap on her affection. Honestly, she was scared, but for all of the wrong reasons. Being mauled to the death by a bear would not have been a fun way to die, and being burned to death was no better. It wasn't those things that filled her head, though.

The fire...it had been an honest accident. It wasn't as if she had a history of arson or anything like that! Her chest felt tight and her thudding heart constricted. Noëlle was afraid, above everything, of being caught and blamed. Having to deal with that sounded like hell. Being with Bryan brought her a bit of comfort. She herself didn't have a bad reputation, but he had a better, brighter one, and maybe being seen with him would remind people that they were siblings and that she could have never done such a thing, even accidentally.

...Not that any of them had any valid non-impudent reason to suspect her.

This paranoia thing was awful and did not suit her.

Keeping it in wasn't working out so well and it had only been ... how long? Finally, she decided that she would have to tell someone what had happened ... later. Maybe Jack, assuming the freshman was alive. She would definitely have to apologize to Alice, too, assuming she was the same.

Heavy fatigue hit her hard and unexpectedly, causing her to groan and mash her lips together. Noëlle just wanted to sleep, so she picked up her pace a bit to Cabin C -- grabbing her things quickly for the move.

    Wow.

These cabins were ... really nice. They were almost like bungalows, or maybe even a joint hotel room. No wonder they were reserved for the Leaders. It was a little unfair, really.

The rooms were joined by a lockable door, and each room had two beds. There were five cabins and two bathrooms in Group one's cluster, and one large kitchen to share... She clutched her bag tighter and peered up at Bryan with curious eyes. Not everyone was here yet, but that was great. It gave her time to place her bag on one of the two medium sized beds, in one of the rooms nearest to the first bathroom, and take a seat at the edge of the bed with a deep sigh. The walk had been shaky and exhausting. She was really ready to pass out.

...I'm going to go shower and change quickly.

She wasn't sure if Bryan would still be there when she got back. At this point she wasn't sure if she cared who she shared a room with ... that was a lie.

Without another word, she dragged her bag into the bathroom and made sure both doors were locked before starting the water.

The loft had been packed tightly, wall to wall with worn, scared campers. Bryan wasn't feeling to good himself, and could only hope that his campers were okay. On one hand, he wanted to find them, wherever they were, but on the other, he wanted to stay by his sister's side until he could be absolutely sure she was going to be okay. He knew she wasn't feeling good.

When Garth got onto the stage in place of the energetic and bright Kevin, Bryan knew it was time to be quiet and listen to what was going to happen next. He winced at how loud the counselor's voice was, but knew there wasn't anything he could say against it that would make it an invalid use of announcement.

". . . PRESENTLY, A HANDFUL OF YOUR PEERS ARE EITHER MISSING, HOSPITALIZED, OR DEAD. AN ESTIMATED 46% OF THE FOREST HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DESTROYED, AND THE DEEPER GROUNDS OF THE CAMP ARE CRAWLING WITH VIOLENT FOREST BEASTS. THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE IS STILL UNKNOWN." Bryan felt his heart rate pick up. This was terrible . . . What if one of his campers was dead? On his first year . . . What a failure he was.

With a heavy shame, Bryan listened to the directions. Of course the campers would be going home. That was only natural. The parents wouldn't like this once they found out, and bring them home anyway. This wasn't his ideal start . . . Would camp even be a thing anymore?

"ALL CAMPERS FROM A AND B COME MEET BY ME. IF YOU'RE IN C OR E, MAKE SURE YOU FIND YOUR COUNSELOR." Bryan snapped out of his shame daze at the sound of Erik's commanding voice and was glad that one of the counselors was holding it together. Cabin A was Erik's, Cabin C was Sam's, E was his, and B was . . . Tucker's. Oh, no . . . He didn't see Tucker anywhere. Trying not to let his emotions get the best of him, Bryan raised his hand for all of his campers to meet him and kept it up.

"A - Are you better now, Noëlle?" he asked her, his voice betraying him a little, "You should get back to your counselor -- she's probably worried about you . . ."

It seemed after all that she was okay . . . Or at least he thought. Maybe more okay than him, anyway. They had left the loft and Bryan briefly returned to Cabin E to gather his stuff, having the small hope that one of his campers would be there . . . None of them were.

The new cabin they had gone to was . . . really nice. Fairly spacious, and it seemed that all of Group One would be sharing it. Whatever was left of them, anyway . . . He sighed. They grabbed two of the beds in the room nearest to the restroom. Bryan wondered if Noëlle wanted him here, or if she just wanted some time to herself. He did. He loved his sister, but he was . . . all sorts of wrecked at the moment, and he didn't wanna lay that thick on her.

He grabbed another bed in another room next to the one they were in before. He collapsed onto the bed, face first.

Richie[/url] dazed in and out of consciousness as he attempted to sit up in the rather uncomfortable bed he was in. He tried to focus his blurry eyes on the white-washed wall in front of him. Eventually, once his eyes adjusted to the scenery, Richie looked around the room curiously. This looked like a... hospital? Perhaps Westerfield? Gah, his head throbbed too much for this type of senseless thinking. He thought back to before the... it was a fire right? He looked down at his arms, which were discolored, and he figured that must have been it. They didn't hurt much though, and-- upon seeing what he assumed was an IV tube in his arm-- he figured it was some type of painkiller that was reducing his pain. Thank. Goodness.

Sitting up higher in his bed, Richie remembered back to before the fire broke out. He was with... Elisa and Bryan at the Scavenger Hunt event. Bryan... took his hand and led him down a slope and... Richie tripped on top of him. A smile developed on the boy's face, despite it only lasting a second or two. He released a sigh, which morphed into a groan. Suddenly, Richie felt his body freeze up. What about Elisa, and Bryan, and everyone else?! Were they all okay?! He shuttered at the thought of anyone else being stuck in this dinky hospital, or... worse. his imagination taking told, Richie pushed the gruesome images out of his mind and focused on relaxing. He allowed his body to sink into the pillow supporting him. How... nice...

"I won't sleep until I have a song. Tonight has been... pretty scary." The young girl had difficulty admitting that last part, obviously.

"I don't know if right now is the time." Sean lied; he had no arguments for singing except that he was tired.

    "Buuuu-" Jenna starte whining.

"Argh! No buts, please; no whining! Fine!" Sean gave in and went out searching through some of the open doors of Cabin 1. He had a song in mind, but he needed a bit of instrumentation. Nearby, he found Sebastian, whom he recognized normally as a patzy for pranking, but that wasn't what Sean had in mind.

"Hey! Seb!" Sean called out. It was getting close to 1, so this had to be quick.

Sebastian had been reading "Don Quixote", a new read for him, when Sean came into his chosen room in Cabin 1, and stood to attention when he heard his name partially called. He saw Sean, beckoning to him in the doorway.
    "Yeah?" He answered back.
"You play guitar right?" Sean inquired quickly.
    "Yeah."
    "Know "Carry on" by "Fun."?"
    "I think so."
"Pick up that guitar over there, so this one can get to sleep." Sean ordered; more a mirror of his old self. Sebastian disliked this, but obliged for the younger in attendance.
So Sebastian took up the guitar r, and Sean sang. "Carry on", 'strangely really necessary for the moment' Sebastian thought to himself as he played the chords with his long dexterous fingers. Once they had finished the song, the guitar was returned to its spot, Jenna settled in and fell asleep, leaving Sean to do the same; and he did. Sean had even fallen asleep in his day clothes, having been so tired.
As Sebastian walked off, changing before nestling into his own nook for sleep, he thought of how much even the people were changing; Sean almost seemed to care. This was inescapably odd to him. Soon though, sleep found him at last, after the trying day.

Garth's voice hadn't been pleasing to listen to, but this whole 'leaving camp' business was ridiculous. Sophie didn't plan on this, and she certainly didn't want to return to a place where no one wanted her. Ahaha, then again . . . It wasn't as if anyone in camp wanted her either, but it was easier to deal with when they weren't her family.

The thoughts brought a little black cloud over her as she packed up and shipped off to the new section where Group One would be staying. At least this would be one last swing of the pendulum before she had to return to her own personal hell. After leaving her cabin, she walked down the path with her flashlight, ignoring the world around her as she listened to her music and hummed along.

Uff -- "Please watch where you're going." Sophie said, looking up to see who she had run into. "Oh, it's you." she said with a sort of somberness, "Please leave me alone." She walked around the set of two and continued down the path, her heart settling down from the crossing paths. Sophie wished she didn't have to see those two anymore.

Sophie had to admit, these cabins were much nicer than the ones they had previously been staying in. It was like a mini-cabin-hotel. She wondered how often and who for these were used; probably important people, like paying guests and camp leaders.

When she looked at the time, she was surprised at how late it was. It didn't feel like it was nearly 1:00am, more like . . . 11:00-ish, or something. After finding a room that was unoccupied ( was she the only one in the place? ), Sophie set her bag down on the edge bed and sat down on it. These beds were a lot better than the other ones, she thought to herself as she laid back. It was probably a good time to settle into her night cloths, so she stripped and put on a white tank top and a pair of sea foam green shorts.

"You're here, too?" Sophie perked up at the voice and standing in the doorway was Bryan, "Nice to see you're . . . okay . . ." He seemed off. Less bright? She was too tired to inspect his person. Noëlle was probably here, too. She'd seen the both of them in the crowded loft.

"Mmhm . . ." she hummed, "Please leave, I'm going to sleep soon." Sophie returned her headphones to her head, tuning him out and pulling out her black notebook to check over it. Bryan left the room, looking a little abashed.

After hearing where he was supposed to go, Brent went to gather all of his belongings from his Cabin. He was now in Group 2. He understood why it had to be this way, but he still had a little issue having to be in a larger group. Well, at least I'll be able to meet more people and find out how talented they are. He wanted to think on the positive side, so that he could at the very least get to sleep tonight.

After he gathered his things from his cabin, he went to the new cabins that housed the leaders. Group 2's Cabins were situated in behind Group 1's. He was about to enter Group 1's cabins, but he saw some of Group 1's people walk into the cabins, so he looked around and eventually found where he was supposed to go. As he walked in, he thought, Wow, this is nice... Must be nice being a leader... He placed his bags on a bed close to the bathroom.

As he sat on the bed, the events of the day caught up with him and hit him like a truck. He fell back onto the bed and let out a long, exasperated sigh. No one from his Cabin had shown up yet. Lying there on his bed, with no one else in his cabin, made him feel lonely, like a rainbow in the dark. Eventually, with the sounds of the night filling the room, he drifted off to sleep, his belongings right next to him.

When Emalynn opened her eyes again, she was staring at a different white ceiling. She had fallen asleep sometime during the ambulance ride to the hospital, so she wondered how long she had been knocked out for her. She was still wearing the oxygen mask. The girl turned her head to the right and saw an IV bag attached to its stand. The tubes exiting the bag led to her arms. Of course. She sighed and slowly sat herself up on her hospital bed. She leaned against the top of her bed.

I must be in the emergency ward. . .Emalynn concluded. There were curtains surrounding her, probably for separating each patient. It made sense. The hospital wasn't going to give each camper their own private room. There was a chair in the corner of the separations, with her clothes neatly folded. She had been changed into the ugly hospital robe. How do people even wear these . . . From the other side of the curtain, she could here the doctor talking to the nurses.

"Ms. Andrews had nothing wrong with her except oxygen deficiency," she heard him say, "It will be fine if she is discharged tomorrow." Good. She hated waiting in hospitals. It was boring and tedious. She also disliked all of the wires that were attached to her. Emalynn knew how important they were, but still, she wanted to rip them all off. She stopped herself before she could do so, however.

Emalynn wondered about Jenna. Sean better have led her out of the forest. If he didn't, I'll never forgive him. And then there was Erik, who she had volunteered to go back for. That never got to happen because of the fire, but she hoped that even he made it out safe. The girl remembered about James, who she had met not too long ago. I wonder if he made it out alright . . . She frowned. Emalynn was tried to reach for the curtain, to see if he was on either her sides, but the IV restricted all of her movement. She just gave up on looking and laid back down on her hospital bed. Still fatigued from earlier, she closed her eyes and let sleep take over, again.

After Alexandra's fit of coughing had stopped, she stood up. They were split into two groups, and were forced to room in new Cabins. She lazily went to her cabin, collected her stuff, and headed to the new ones.

Trudging in, Alexandra looked for a bed that didn't have anything on it, she just wanted a bed.

There were actually five rooms with two beds each. She had a feeling Sophie would very much mind Alexandra's presence as she didnt seem to be a friendly person. Plus, Alexandra didnt want to be a bother to anyone, so she claimed the room right next to the kitchen. Alexandra changed into her pajamas, plopped her stuff on the floor, and lay there, curling into the covers and falling sleep, eager to forget what had happened.

Natalie was anxious to get to bed and just leave tomorrow. There had been fire. She HATED fire.

She went to Cabin F and got her bass, her bag, and her extra food stash, then rushed to the new cabins. They were really simple and clean. Much better than the other ones. There were five rooms, and she aptly claimed the one nearest the bathroom. Knowing no one was there, she locked the door and changed into her pajamas. Natalie unlocked the door, and went back to lie in bed, awake in case someone entered and decided to room with her.

Her hand was practically immobile since the injections were there. She could feel her dry lips cracking when she'd move them. Luckily, the doctors had removed the oxygen mask off of her since they found out there was nothing wrong with her. However, what happened next was the most horrible of them all.

A doctor came in, he was tall and friendly looking which made her smile. But then her eyes darted to what he was holding, a tray of food - and no, it wasn't just a bowl of fruit or a salad. It was a three course meal. She could already see it from where she was: a salad appetizer and all of its useless toppings that only add up into fat, a pasta main course which screams endless calories and carbs, and a friendly looking fruit bowl which didn't comfort her at the moment. There was also a glass of water, the only thing that she liked from the tray. The doctor sat by her raised bed, and placed the tray on her lap. He smiled gently, but all Elisa could see was a face of a demon giving her useless calories. "I know you've just been through a tough, stressful time so I'll keep you company while you eat."

' More like watch my every move and make sure I don't leave even a bit of cut pasta noodle.' she thought bitterly. Her mind began to have a battle in her head. If she ate this and finished it, she'll probably cry and not feel good at all but she'll also have the doctor leave her alone. If she didn't, then this could turn into a bigger ordeal and she wouldn't be back in camp. And yes, for once, she wanted to go back to camp. She wanted to be around her cabin mates and counselor: Bryan, Shouta, Sebastian and Richie. She wondered how they were. Were they at the hospital too, or back at camp? She half wished they were int he hospital, just so she knew she wasn't so alone… She reached for the fork with her free hand and poked it into a lettuce. Her stomach grumbled under the tray, most probably in hunger but to Elisa it transited to her stomach screaming at her "Don't you dare take that bite!!!"

She did anyway, pleasing the doctor-demon. She ate about half of the salad. She was already so full but she knew she wouldn't be left alone if she didn't eat more. The doctor began to talk to her as she tackled the pasta, eating about one fourth of it at the end. The doctor was still talking as she ate all of her fruit bowl. He said the usual things she'd hear when doctors were concerned with her weight. Of course, all of this was just blah-blah-blah-blah to her. She wasn't listening at all.

Eventually, she gave up completely and took a sip of her water before looking at the doctor, with her unfinished food on her lap, saying "I want to sleep." He shrugged but smiled and nodded, he placed the tray on the counter as if she would eat it later. Once he left, Elisa released a loud groan. She felt like crying but no tears seemed to go down. Was she too tired to cry even? This by far had been the worst night in a while. She wanted to take in a couple sleeping pills and just go null and forget, but she didn't have that and she didn't really need it because after a while of feeling disgusting and dead, she fell asleep on the stiff hospital bed anyway.

Tucker looked up at the ceiling, breathing heavily. His eyes stung every time he blinked them because he had been crying so much. His throat felt all scratchy and rough and destroyed - not just from the smoke he inhaled but from screaming. His body felt drained, as if he just did all the sports in one day - which of course he didn't. He had just gone through an incredibly tough time. It was just everything. From the scavenger hunt disaster, to him failing to find his troopers and just - the hospital. He had to be honest, he hated hospitals. He's been there too much in the past. He really didn't enjoy them. They were like a window to the past he so wanted to forget.

However today wasn't just a peek into the window. Today, at the hospital, Tucker was practically zapped back to the past. The doctors brought him to a room once they got him to the hospital. It wasn't so bad at first, they worked on his ankles - which were okay. They were strained after all, but the doctors wrapped them both in bandages anyway for support. It was obvious that his ankles had broken before and the tired boy told him that it was normal. He broke his wrists and ankles numerous times in the past. Tucker still had a smile on and thanked the doctors at this time, but then everything fell to hell with that they did next.

The doctors asked the young adult to take his shirt off so they could examine the curious scars over his hip bones. Tucker objected right away, telling them he was fine and nothing was wrong and he just got it from a hiking trip one day at the mountains where he fell terribly. It was the same trick he would tell people who would actually see it, at school or in camp, but the doctor's weren't fooled. As he continued to argue politely, the doctors began to get irritated. Eventually they had it pulled off of him - which wasn't really doctor-like for them to do, but the doctor's must have been very stressed out by the night. Other campers must have checked into the hospital as well. But once the shirt had been pulled off of his body, Tucker flew into this panic. He couldn't stay still. He didn't want to be there. It was kind of like watching an animal in a tight cage trying to get out. The doctors, totally done with his excuses, held him down and examined his body. There were scars everywhere. Mostly by his hip area, crawly down past his belt line and all over his chest, by his collar bones, nearing his neck, trailing to his back and by his nipples. They weren't really bad scars, but the number of them was crazy.

The doctors probably figured out what had gone on, when they pieced everything together or they were just really tired of the tall boy's thrashing so the doctors asked him numerous questions - all of which he heard before. Tired from everything all he did was answer them truthfully. Eventually, they did leave him alone. They gave him back his shirt which he put on really quickly and left him alone, with apologies. He told them it was okay in a tired tone, it was his fault after all since he didn't really talk about it. But then again, who'd blame him?

Wrapped in shame of what he put the doctors through acting like a 12 year old rather than a 21 year old, he gripped at the fabrics of the bed cover. He hated everything at the moment. His teeth gritted together as he fought hard not to scream or cry. He felt so broken down and violated. He closed his eyes, attempting to fall asleep, which he was sure would happen soon, but not soon enough. He just wished his was back in camp again, surrounded by people and laughter and merriment where he could just pretend and smile his big smile and forget about reality. He just wanted to go back to his troopers and be their super trooper again. Of course, it might be a different story if he went back right now and even tomorrow but still, he would rather be back at camp, escaping reality, than here at a hospital, having to face it.

Most of the campers were seen or on the list of people taken away by paramedics. Most of her students were counted for, but nothing of Alice had been heard yet. She really wondered what happened to the girl. It was assumed that Sam merely overlooked her name on the list because anything else would have been too hard to deal with.

It was put to the back of her mind. Her body was ready to collapse, weary from the stress. Sam made her way to a cabin and only bothered removing her shoes, leaving everything else on. A blanket was then taken and she laid on the floor, leaving both beds for the kids (one of which had her blue haired camper, which was a relief). After all sleeping on the ground was nothing new, so drifting off would not be too hard. Or so it shouldn't have been, but with all these thoughts...

With all of the worries it took a while before her body gave in, winning her mind in the fight as sleep consumed her.

While looking down at Pierce clinging to him a smile formed. Whoever gave her that jacket probably didn't get this level of dependency, even if it were only because he was the only one there. She apologized for it though, which snapped his thoughts into focus. "Don't worry about it." Cute.

The girl started to say something afterwards but stopped herself. This caused a frown. He really wanted to know what it would have been but did not pry. In fact nothing was said in regards to it. Maybe if they had known each other for a bit longer he would demand it, but at the time he would have to leave it.

After that they had to listen to some loud mouthed speaker and he almost wished to see Kevin again. Though on the other hand this guy was more to his liking, when it came to speakers anyway. Though with what was said who was speaking did not matter. So people were dead? Haha. They should have ran faster. What losers. Now their painting was torn and slashed red. Beautiful but worthless.

There was even more good news. A merging of the cabins! Pierce was now in the same group as him, so he took this as an opportunity to invite her to share the same cabin.

"Um... all right. I j-just gotta get my stuff."

Her words repeated themselves in his head as he watched her ran off. He went ahead and entered a cabin, finding someone setting up in one of the beds. A quick lie about how someone wanted him to go to one of the cabins was given and then they were off, leaving both beds free for when Pierce met back up with him. He set up in one before giving her a smile and saying goodnight, climbing into the blankets afterwards and going to sleep.

As they were moved to the new cabins, Alex was being his usual self and remain silent for the walk there. Though when they got there, he was pleasantly surprised by what he say. First of all it was a step up from what they had earlier. Second, it just looked cozier too. The inside didn't disappoint either, it only added more to his cozier theory. Yep, he was going to get himself a good night sleep tonight.
Though he couldn't get too far ahead of himself, he still needed to check out the rooms they were given. Heading up stairs, he looked for a room that was completely empty and made his way inside. Putting his stuff down, he changed into his sleep wear and got into bed. before falling asleep just yet, he arranged himself so that his arm was under the pillow. That was the way he liked to sleep after all. When that was out of the way, all that was left for him to do was to close his eyes and get some sleep.

Quentin had made it out mostly unharmed. He was even excited by the commotion as he enjoyed the adrenaline and was still lightheaded from the smoke. He felt happy, in a twisted sort of way. He wondered what was next. Then someone started yelling.

". . . PRESENTLY, A HANDFUL OF YOUR PEERS ARE EITHER MISSING, HOSPITALIZED, OR DEAD. AN ESTIMATED 46% OF THE FOREST HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DESTROYED . . ."

The smile disappeared from his face. He had seen Tucker and both of his girls alive, but his high was lost. Even he couldn't shrug off death. If that wasn't bad enough, the next words that came out of his mouth were that camp was ending ahead of time. His expression grew bitter. I haven't even taken someone yet. God dammit.

    ". . . GROUPS WILL BE MERGED. GROUP A, B, C, D, AND E WILL BECOME GROUP 1. GROUPS F, G, H, I . . ."

Yeah, yeah, whatever buddy. What about my plans? He was starting to miss Kevin. He had been so excited about this whole thing. His cabin was missing. He didn't know what to do. After a moment he settled for growling out his frustration and sat down to think.

No playing music, no games, no camp romance . . . Quentin could already feel the boredom creeping over him, and it was an extremely unsettling feeling. He shivered and something jingled in his pocket. Oh . . . I still have Cupid's Brew. He looked over at his two girls. And they'll be at the academy even if camp isn't. His cabin forgotten, he began to relax again. He could flow with this.

He knew a bit about the brown haired girl. Sophie. She was standing by trying to look completely unaffected by the chaos around her. The pink haired one was more of a mystery since he did not know her name. She was hugging one of the counselors and crying. Quentin smiled again, if only slightly. They were both cute, in their own ways. He still had no idea why he liked them, but he knew that he did, and that intrigued him. Romance hasn't hit me in a long time. He wanted to learn the pink one's name.

Before he could move towards either of them, he heard more yelling, for his cabin this time. A man had gotten up on a chair to get attention. "ALL CAMPERS FROM A AND B COME MEET BY ME. IF YOU'RE IN C OR E, MAKE SURE YOU FIND YOUR COUNSELOR." His eyes narrowed, but he went toward the sound of the voice anyway. After announcing his cabin, he asked which direction he should go, if he should get his things and how much time he had.

He kept an eye on the girls as they started to wander off. He was growing impatient. Maybe I can bunk with them this time. The thought made him happy and his heart picked up its usual speed. He darted off to his cabin without waiting for an answer and was back before more than a handful had followed them. He made it into the leader building and caught his breath. His bags felt unexpectedly heavy after everything that had happened.

He could see a kitchen head, and cabins on either side of the doorway. He saw the counsellor from earlier go into a room on the right side. He knew that he had found group one. Left, or right? He was in a romantic mood, so he decided to let fate decide. He set his bags down, got out a coin and flipped it. He closed his eyes as he caught it and flipped it onto his other hand. Tails I go left, heads I go right. He opened his eyes. It was heads. Right, it is.

Quentin walked down the right hallway, peeking in each room as he went by. He found one of them in the second one. He stepped in and asked politely, "Can I stay in this one?"

It was only just then, as she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror that she realized what a mess she really was; bright blue eyes stared back at her, the lashes that framed them thick and feathered out unevenly, her pink lips were chapped and bleeding towards the corner, prompting her to run her tongue over it while taking in red and blotchy cheeks, and a smeared blood on the side of her neck.

Her fingers, still shaking, reached around to pull thick hair over her right shoulder. Some of the longer pink strands were stained black at the ends, and her heart sunk. At least it hadn't burned off, though. That would have been horrible.

Without wasting anymore time feeling sorry for herself, she stripped out of her sweatshirt, the white tank-top under it, and her pale green shorts. Her shoes had been left by the bed she had claimed, and her socks felt sticky and gross as she peeled them from her feet. Again she felt tempted to look at herself in the mirror, but managed to avoid doing so with a determined grunt, working on getting completely undressed and stepping towards the deep bathtub.

Finally, she submitted to the heavy orbs of steaming water shooting out from above her like liquid drops of heaven. Her lips parted and she closed her heavy eyelids as she let the water run down her forehead, down the curve of her nose and over her mouth and chin.

A tiny bottle of liquid body wash stood unopened on a soap stand. She helped herself to it and smiled at the potent scent of raspberries, sure to wipe the scent of smoke and flames from her body.

It's a shame we have to go home so soon... She thought, as she stepped out of the bathtub and wrapped a cool, royal-red towel around her body. Her toes flexed upon meeting with the cold tile floor, and her hair dripped, leaving a trail behind her as she flipped off the light and left the room.

Bryan was gone, and she couldn't blame him. Maybe she would actually get a room to herself...

That was ruined when she heard the door open, and turned her head quickly with an inquisitive look on her face, thinking that Bryan had forgotten something.

Can I stay in this one?

Instead of Bryan, a boy she vaguely recognized stood in the doorway. Her face fell, but she quickly recovered, smiling warmly. What was she supposed to do? There wouldn't be enough rooms for everyone to just have their own. It did feel weird, potentially sharing a room with an unfamiliar male, instead of another female but ...

Yeah, sure. Her voice was casual and relaxed, and as she invited him in, she turned to look through her bag for some pajamas, making sure the towel was secure around her and sighing internally.

--- iPod Shuffle --- Mood: Somewhat Sad --- Outfit--- Day 2 --- Location: Hospital---

She zoned out for the most part within the E.R. Aislin just didn't want to have to deal with everything at that moment. When they pulled her in a room they took off her oxygen mask slowly and told her to breath. After a minute they put it back on. After another minute they took it off again, then waited 10 minutes before putting it back on her. It turned out they were getting her adjusted to the real air, although her throat hurt it was slowly becoming easier to breath without the oxygen mask.

Aislin was told about how her burns were nothing to worry about and they told her to drink plenty of water. One of the last things they did before leaving her alone was they gave her a pill and told her to try and stay awake for as long as she could until her body felt a numbness to it.

At first she found it easy, but then slowly became bored. One of the books they had on the side table peaked her curiosity as she opened it up and read it. A nurse came in to check up on her with a pitcher of water and a cup and asked her what she was reading. Aislin turned the book over and pointed to her throat for a moment before she whispered, "I really don't know, it's called The Girl in Watercolors."

The nurse kept casual conversation for a while, saying something about her loving the book and such on. Aislin at that point did not care and after the woman left she no longer could keep a grip on the book. She turned the television across her room on and watched the News until she fell asleep in the bed.

" AND SO IT BEGINS... "

Erik took count of the few campers from cabins A and B that approached him. There weren't many. That was for sure. He watched Sean and Jenna stalk off with a boy from cabin E. One of the boys, Quentin, from cabin B came up to him and Erik added him to his mental checklist. He asked for directions and he pointed out the path that lead to the leader cabins.

When things seemed to settle down in the loft, he finally made his way out of the building and over to cabin D. James and Emalynn's belongs were still in the room and a sinking feeling nestled itself in the pit of his stomach. Erik left his stuff where it was, just grabbing a change of clothes quickly. He would shower when he got to cabin one. He pulled the box of electronics out of the cabin and unlocked it. His fingers prodded around inside of it and pulled out the items belonging to Sean and Jenna. He slipped them into the pocket of his shorts and returned the container back to it's original location. He tossed the pajamas over his arm and marched out of the wooden building, across the lawn, and into cabin one.

Erik checked to see if anyone was in the bathroom at the far end on the left. The room was still unoccupied so he figured not. Once inside he washed up quickly and exited as a pair were entering the room. He gave a nod to Pierce and Allen--Pierce he could trust, Allen seemed like a different story--before exiting the room. Erik moved sluggishly, searching for Sean and Jenna in the large cabin. He found them in the same room, already asleep, and set their phones and whatnot down beside them. Their parents were probably already being notified, but just in case they would need their phones to let them know what was happening and that they were leaving first thing tomorrow--today. He slipped out of the room wordlessly and traveled until he reached one of the rooms that was still relatively empty on the other end of the building. He knocked on the door once before entering to see Bryan already inside. "Mind if I join you?" The kid looked beat. Erik felt the fatigue take over as he crossed the distance to the vacant bed.

He flopped down on the empty bed, dirty clothes falling to the floor beside it, and stared blankly up at the ceiling. His body praised him for the sudden ability to finally relax. Erik felt like he hadn't rested in days. He laughed to himself quietly. "When I told them they would have a long day today, I never had anything like this in mind." He was talking more so to himself, but was sure Bryan could hear him. He was too tired to get under the covers. That required too much work. Instead, he maneuvered his foot to pull the throw blanket up towards his body from the foot of the bed. Once it was within arms reach, he pulled it up the rest of the way with his hand and covered himself. "Night newbie," he muttered. It had to be after one by now. Erik wouldn't have even been surprised if it was closing in on two. He didn't bother checking the time on his watch. Sleep claimed him too quickly. A yawn sounded from within and his eyelids fluttered shut. The world around him went dark and his body melded into the comfort of the thick mattress.

"Yeah, sure," the girl welcomed him and turned around to rummaged through her things. She was wearing nothing but a towel. He was pleased. "Thanks." He took a deep breath and shoved the day from his mind. She would have his focus this evening. He studied her as he walked over and set his things on the bed opposite hers.

Quentin eyed her a little more than necessary while she wasn't looking. She didn't seem shy about him and looked very pretty. He smiled when he caught himself staring. He wanted her towel to fall off so he could see how pretty she could be, but his romantic side scolded him. Bide your time. You can do that once you have her. He reluctantly turned away from erotic thoughts and remember his query.

"What is your name?" His voice felt kind of weak. He realized he was sleepy, but decided the shower and bed could wait for greetings.
