Christmas was wonderful. She woke up to the warm hugs from her family and presents from them - which were new outfits she could use after or during the winter. She exchanged the lovely presents she had received with the one she prepared for her parents - which were gift certificates to a fancy restaurant sponsored by a shop she would often buy from. She once made a review for that shop, which sparked more costumers during the week she posted the review on her shop. They were very grateful to her and so she was able to get these gift certificates. She had already reserved her parents a table for lunch, letting them have a sweet and romantic Christmas lunch date together.

Before that of course, she spent lots of time with her family in the morning. They had a delicious, healthy Christmas breakfast and watched some of their favourite holiday films like The Nightmare Before Christmas (alright, this was Elisa's vote and her parents mostly acted like they were watching), A Christmas Carol and Santa Claus. This ate up most of their time but before her parents went off to their dinner date, she baked some vegan cookies with them too (and a lot more so she could bring some later for the cast and crew). She helped her mother get ready, doing her makeup and choosing an outfit for her. She guessed she got her fashion sense from her father since he always knew how to dress nicely all on his own. She bid them farewell, knowing that she would see them tomorrow. She planned to go to the auditorium early so she can fix up all the costumes and make up for the rest of the play.

While her parents were away, she had the afternoon to herself. She baked some more cookies and decorated and packed them but also opened up her laptop to blogged happily. She posted her Merry Christmas video the night before, at midnight.

Hooray! It's Christmas! And as you all know not only is
today going to be filled with the air of cinnamon, fresh
snowflakes, warm smiles and perhaps some eggnog - it
is also going to be filled with the heavenly voices singing
the songs from The Girl In Watercolors! Be sure to catch
our musical this Opening Night! Bring your family, friends
and lovers to the show! I promise your money's worth and
that you won't be at all disappointed!
So see you later, perhaps? Have the most jolly Christmas
ever, everyone! U w U

Once she posted that short message, accompanied by the official poster of the musical, she got up and got dressed in her Opening Night outfit. She wore simple clothing, a short black dress with thick black tights underneath. Her booties were chocolate suede and she put on a coral blazer to give her outfit a pop of color (besides her hair of course). She added a belt around her waist to give shape to her thin, lanky frame and put on simple but elegant accessories. Her make up was kept a bit simple, with just a couple layers (probably more than what she needed) of mascara, neutral tones of eye shadow, a nude lip and blush. She used bronzer to make sure her skin wasn't so pale and she looked warmer despite the chilling season. She wanted to look professional but stylish, and hoped that came across effortlessly.

All set, she grabbed the dress she prepared for later. Another thing she was excited about was Sophie's after party. The thought of it clouded her worries for the night and she let the party motivate her as an incentive. She walked down the stairs carefully with her make up kits, small clutch that kept her belongings, Richie's present and her dress. She dropped these on the clean kitchen counter while she packed the bags of cute Christmas cookies into a separate bag. She made enough for the entire cast and crew to have a bag each. She then grabbed the phone, calling for a cab. No way was she driving to the school. She didn't want to risk anything happening since it was opening night and she was such a terrible driver - think of what accidents she could get into! (haha)

The turquoise teen made it into the school early. Some people were already there: the leads, Torvald and Maria, some extras, Tucker the sound tech guy, Erik, Zachary, Julius and Bryan. Her heart fluttered when she saw the brown haired male. She handed them each cookies upon her entrance, greeting them very merry holidays. But after that, she put all her things to the side - away from all the props so she wouldn't disturb anyone and got to work. She helped the actors get ready, set up their costumes for quick changing and had her makeup station ready in case for any touch ups.

By the time Julius gave the introduction, Elisa had finished painting on all the actors' faces. She was pretty tired, but was delighted to finally see them all go onstage and deliver what they worked hard on to an actual audience. She carefully headed back to her make up station, leaning on the wall tiredly. She looked around backstage, everyone was really prepared and the audience that she glanced at a moment ago looked so eager for the performance. She wondered if any one from her blog came to watch the show - she sure hoped so.

Suddenly, she notices a familiar head of blonde hair. Richie! She wanted to exclaim in excitement but that wouldn't be appropriate since the show had already begun. She bent down to grab a pack of cookies and his actual present. She walked over to him, careful to not make any unnecessary noises from her booties. Once she reached the boy, she greeted him with a small wave and a warm smile, but placed a finger up to her painted lips to remind him to stay silent, then embraced him in a warm hug. She handed over his present and the cookies. She really hoped he liked her present because it made her giggle. She leaned on the wall beside him, draping one thin, lanky arm over his shoulder and resting her head by his as the show carried on.

It was finally Christmas. Natalie had been looking forward to this for a while. Just Christmas with her older siblings, since her idiot parents were never around for anything.

From Amelia, Natalie received a notebook. Amelia told her it was for writing letters to Lexi, her best friend who was still in jail. Rory gave her a new dress, which Natalie decided to wear tonight. Lastly, her parents gave her $50. How thoughtful and original. She hugged each of her siblings and smiled. Christmas was the biggest time of the year where she smiled, given that her life was messed up to the point of rarely showing emotion two years ago.

~

Later that night, she made her way backstage at the auditorium. She looked for Sarah and Alex, hoping to get some talking in before anything started. Probably a better idea to get ready first though.

As soon as that was done, she spotted Alex nearby. "Alex!" She said, walking over to him, "Merry Christmas!"

When the play was successfully finished, the entirety of the cast and crew took the stage and everyone took a bow. After a few curtain calls, the group decided, hell, it was Christmas, why not have the party tonight and we can make it a sleepover! Sophie hoped Lucas was prepared for all these kids.

After the auditorium was cleared out, everyone packed up their respective things and followed Sophie in her car to her house, which wasn't a great distance from Fortissimo, but not a walk through the park, either. Her house was rather secluded and neighbors were a bit distant to come across.

After parking her car in its respective place, Lucas appeared next to her in all of his prim, proper, and butler-y goodness and began directing traffic for the others, while telling her to go in and quickly inspect everything before her guest entered. She smiled with satisfaction at the results of his hard work and made a mental note to reward him with something later.

Soon, all of the cast and crew ( and maybe then some ) were led through the foyer and into the spacious and open living room. Despite the outward appearance of it, Sophie's home was an odd mixture of modern and classic aspects, due to the designing of her uncle and mother. Pierce's mom wasn't the only one with . . . strange tastes.

Congratulations on a successful play, everyone. Sophie began, To celebrate, food, drinks, and other things for your pleasure have been prepared by myself and my friend Lucas, she motioned to the dark haired young man who quietly stood in the corner and waved when he was called upon. There's a pool out back, if any of you care to swim, and there is also alcohol, but mind your manners and be responsible, especially you underage folk.

She looked around and calculated who would be drunk soon enough and which ones were underage. Most of them were, but Sophie had drank a time or two, or three in her life, so she didn't mind it.

To abstain from regretful mistakes, everyone is allowed to stay the night, and anyone who has drank more than their share is definitely not driving home. Alright, go scatter to your heart's content. Food's in the kitchen, et cetera. Oh — in the restrooms upstairs you'll find a few boxes of condoms ( again, courtesy of Lucas ). If you intend to do anything, don't stain my house with your messes and keep it out of the public eye.

Bottom line, just don't destroy my house.

With that, she motioned everyone to go be fly and fancy free while she dragged Lucas off to the side and began talking about the plans for the rest of the night with him.

When the performance ended, she was glowing from a sense of triumph! They did an amazing job. It seemed to go off without a hitch. They couldn't ask for anything better.

They all cleaned up and changed out of their costumes before leaving the auditorium. She had the present for Tucker stowed away safely inside her bag. She drove herself, slow and steady. The roads were getting pretty bed. Everyone seemed to arrive at Sophie's house in one condition. That was a plus.

Sophie began her greeting with a commanding aura. Maria scoffed when the brunette got to the part about condoms. How silly! Who would need something lite that?? She smiled, but approached Sophia anyway. This looks great, Soph. You're doing an amazing. You did an incredible job.

She moved to the kitchen and made herself a drink, popping open a bottleof champagne and pouring a glass. Maria consumed the first glass in the kitchen, socializing with the others and chattering noisily about the performance. When she filled the second champagne flute, she excused herself and found her bag, slipping her fingers around the present and finding her way to an empty room--a drawing room or a parlor. Sophie seemed to be rather well endowed.

Maria had no clue if Tucker would find her. She never asked him too. She relaxed in one of the thick chairs. The neatly wrapped present rested delicately in her lap. She was tired from the musical, bit not too tired. Her red lips pressed down on the rim of the glass and she sipped down the gold and pink bubbly liquid. Anticipation built up inside her to the point where she thought she might explode. Maria felt jittery. He probably wouldn't come looking for her. Thinking that was the only thing she could do to stay calm, but then it left her feeling numb when she lingered on the thought for too long.

Seraphina smiled. The play went better then expected. She also heard Sophie was hosting a party. She thought she might as well go. Once she got there, she was around many of the others and listened to Sophie.

Seraphina listened attentively. She thought Sophie had a nice, dry sense of humor. Interesting. She could have a few drinks... maybe. After Sophie was finished, she walked over to get a drink. She poured her self a glass of champagne, right after Maria had. 'It's not like the fancy kind we have at home.' She thought to herself taking another sip. She wondered if she would talk to anyone around her. She hadn't had any luck making friends. She sighed, sitting down in the parlor room. She looked over, also seeing Maria. She sat up straight and proper and remembered to keep her chin up. She wanted to look prefect. Maria and her didn't seem to get along. She would act better then her, in a silence sort of way. She made eye contact with ehr, but then she looked around, no one was coming up to her. She wasn't going to approach anyone. It showed confidence if someone were to come up to someone as pretty as her. She liked that. She wondered what they would all do tonight.

He was super excited all day. Seeing the crowd as packed as they were got into his nerves but he really just needed to do a few minor things here and there but still, being on and performing for this large an audience was a bit of a new thing for him. Despite his nerves and probably most everyones all those rehearsals ended up paying off big time. Everyone did fantastically, especially the two leads. He was so proud that he was able to be a part of this performance, even if it wasn't the largest role. Then even better yet they were having a christmas after party.

When they got to Sophie's house he was stunned by how large and...interestingly designed the place was. He really wouldn't know what to do with all this space if it was his house.Sophie then began explaining that there was all types of beverages and food in the kitchen, though he'd probably refrain from drinking any of the alcohol because he hadn't made any plans to start drinking in this lifetime. Then she said something that made his eyes widen a bit. Something about a box of...things in the restroom. While he was positive he had no need for them he'd be lying if he said he wasn't curious as to who would be using them. Relationships were always hot topics after all. 'So basically the only rules here are don't break anything and try to be subtle if you plan on doing anything,' he thought to himself. Dennis was pretty sure he could avoid breaking either of those rules. When everyone did their own thing he started to hear his stomach growl at him. Food was on the brain so food was where he going. He made a beeline for the kitchen and noticed a ravishing looking cake. His mouth watered and his eyes were locked on it until he noticed a note next to it. Man he was going to have to send a thank you note to Tucker later on. He got out a plate and cut off a slice of the cake, which he inhaled. Probably one of the best cakes he's had in awhile. He got himself a soda and started guzzling that down while contemplating whether or not he should go for a swim and/or eat more cake. In the end, he walked outside to the back yard and sat himself down by the edge of the pool thinking on how this christmas had been so much better than ones in the past few years.

Sasha rubbed her throat as they finished their performance with a spectacular ending. She sang her part a bit too passionately and kinda gave out on her throat, but she was glad it was over. Seems like there was going to be a party afterwards. Hmm...I guess I could join them and stuff. I mean...I do kinda deserve it.
(っ◕‿◕)っ

Sasha couldn't help but stare at the wonderful home the party was taking place at. It had a lovely look and atmosphere to it. Unlike her dopey home which was plain. Probably the living room itself costed more than her whole home.
Congratulations on a successful play, everyone. To celebrate, food, drinks, and other things for your pleasure have been prepared by myself and my friend Lucas.
Sasha smiled and applauded with the rest. Not only did the home look amazing, but the food as well. It would take all of her willpower to now show down everything on that table. She WAS a glutton for food, especially delicious food.
The last comment made by Sophie made her half chuckle, half sigh. It was good for her to prepare for such events, but she kinda found it foolish. Sure with alcohol woozing around the home, accidents(?) can happen, but even still, it kinda irritated her that people would be so loose and willing to just do it. Especially when this was a party setting, not an orgy. She was actually a person who valued her relationships and dedications to people. It sounded so much easier than in practice. Not only is this type of thinking a dying breed, but she also had no people to even START a relationship and/or connection with.
Deciding not to care about that, she walked over and grabbed a plate with a small amount of food, which she had to control herself with a lot of pressure, before making her way outside to the backyard and eating her food while pondering about the rehearsal, somewhat not caring about the others out there as well.
She might as well enjoy the food and just leave once she had her fill. It's not as if anyone would really congratulate for her success. In her honest opinion, the singing portion of the whole performance was probably the most under appreciated part. Most of the songs were basically played on the CD backstage and the singers only sang on specific scenes. The main focus were the actors. She wasn't gonna like. She thought her singing was great, but that's not really what people came to watch. Mr. Russian probably was one of the reasons. As silly as he was sometimes, he had an enormous amount of charisma around him.
Aww stop degrading yourself. Just enjoy your Christmas Day, with or without presents, with or without others. Besides, it's a day about Jesus, not about gift giving. She laughed at her own thoughts and looked up at the stary sky, shivering a little in the winter air. Hope you're proud of me. I did something I wouldn't have done the past 6 years..."

He had been expecting a wondrous play from the kids that signed up, but what he witnessed surpassed the man's expectations and brought a smile to his face as he watched on as the preformed and merely crossed his arms and stood backstage as they took their bow to the cheering crowd. They truly deserved the praise that they received and he was quite happy that they were able to lavish in the rewards they gained from all their hard work.

With everything done and the play having met its true end, Julius merely smiled softly as he helped clean up the last bit of the stage before he was on his way. The news of the party at Sophie's reached him and though he was asked if he would go Julius merely denied politely. He noticed disappointment in a few others (especially Noelle), and with that his denial changed to a maybe. With that he was given the address and the rest were soon off to the celebration.

With a sigh, Julius walked up the stairs and stared out at the theatre with a smile once more. He still recalled the cheers and it was as if he was still watching the play go on in his mind. Those kids...he was proud of them...it was the first time in a long time he could say he could feel pride. Was this what it felt to be a professor? he liked the feeling, the feeling of helping others and being able make others smile....just how long did it take him to reach his desired path?

He closed his eye and merely let out a chuckle as he walked out of the empty theatre. The spectacular kids were what kept this play up and alive, he could only wish he was at least able to have been of more use to them. "Man...whats wrong with me" Julius said shaking his head trying to toss out the thoughts out his mind as he walked outside and took a deep breath "Ah...must be because of the damn Christmas season thats why I'm getting all mushy..." Julius said breathing in the cold air.

Pierce had been practically bouncing off the walls since yesterday. She didn't want to interrupt Sophie on Christmas Eve and she had family plans which it made pretty difficult regardless. All day today she kept thinking about how she needed to talk to the other girl. It was getting unbearable, especially while sitting in the box office with Oliver during the musical. They were so close together in the stuffy little room that she thought she might literally lose her mind. Pierce had no idea how to interpret the events that transpired yesterday, or even the fact that it did happen. Maybe she was over thinking things? That was usually the case. That's why she needed Sophie!

The party was her first real opportunity to talk to her friend. She wanted a drink to help herself calm down, but didn't want to do so with everyone around. Her mother didn't even know! It was something she only did in the confines of her bedroom where no one could know. She was a good girl. Good girls didn't do things like that. Where was Sophie?! Pierce was wading through party attendant after party attendant. The sparkly silver dress her mother picked out for her seemed to cast little circles of light on the walls wherever she went. It definitely wasn't something she would have chose for herself, but her mother insisted that she looked great in it and should definitely wear it to the after party. Pierce hadn't even wanted to come! If anyone else was hosting it, she probably wouldn't have, but if she didn't show up to Sophie's party she never would have heard the end of it.
There!--in the foyer standing next to Lucas, Sophie. She hurried across the tile floor in her flats until she reached her. Pierce clutched onto Sophie's arm and gave Lucas an apologetic glance. S-sorry, Lucas, b-but I really need to steal S-Sophie. She swallowed nervously. Lucas seemed kind. She had met him--twice?--before. He gave her a nod and a grin before disappearing down one of the halls. Pierce didn't let go of Sophie's arm, but let her hands slide to the other girl's wrist and dragged her to the nearest bathroom. It was very sleek and modern. She locked the door behind them and slumped down to the floor, the skirt of her dress rising up her thigh as she did so.
Pierce leaned her back against the cabinet and motioned for Sophie to join her. I have been waiting to talk to you all day! She bit her peachy lip and stared at the other girl with her chocolate brown eyes. Pierce needed answers. I... I need your opinion. She was nervous, but if she didn't just get it out now, then there was no hope. I don't have boy experience. Oliver--Oliver invited me to go ice skating with him yesterday! she squeaked, And I went. Was it a date? I mean... It was really awkward in the beginning, but by the end I was having a lot of fun. I even mostly stopped stuttering and stammering whichisnearlyimpossibleevenwithyoumostofthetime-- she sucked in a large breath of air, I don't know what to think!
She was picking at her broken nails nervously as she dove into the story of everything that happened yesterday--even the really embarrassing story about the peppermint hot chocolate she spilled. By the end of it, Pierce was beat red and her heart was hammering in her chest. She had been holding in her breath and exhaled it long and slowly. Sophie would probably make fun of her, or say I told you so. That girl loved to be right. Her hair fell in her face and she brushed it aside with trembling hands. She looked at her friend with wide chocolate eyes in search of answers. ... Well," she finally said after no reply from Sophie, What do you think? Was it a date? Do you... do you think he likes me? Or maybe he was just doing me a charity because he's an adult and I'm just a teenager. It doesn't seem likely that he would want anything to do with me... Pierce wasn't even sure if she liked Oliver. She hadn't really liked anyone since that whole incident with Adrian. She kind of found that Ethan guy that plays one of the extras to be kinda cool and sweet, but that was about the extent of it. But now--every time she had been alone with Oliver it made her feel strange and tingly.

<< "W--Wait!" Sugar called out, a chill in her voice. >>

Fatime's voice was flat as she rushed over to the dark figure of her professor in the cold winter moonlight. A grey scarf was tightly wrapped around the lower edge of her face, and it muffled her words a bit, but it was nothing that prevented her from communicating. Her hands were bare, and her freezing pink fingers trembled as she held a death grip on her tablet, opened to the e-book from which she found that particular quote.

When the musical was over, Fatime wasn't quite sure how to feel at all. Opening night went off without a hitch. But did it matter to her? The crew and the players especially, they all received such lovely welcomes and congratulations. Warm ones, that would keep everyone in that auditorium away from the freeze of winter. No, no ... it didn't matter to her. So she slipped away, a lowly hairdresser whom nobody acknowledged and whom never tried to make contact with these others, to her own devices. And here she was, in the cold, with a bag of the dangerous concoction of a brew that would allow her to understand exactly what kind of drug it was.

But her eyebrows were low, her cheeks rosy from the cold, and her expression flat-faced, biting her lip ever so slightly, as dear Ayanna had told her that she couldn't take her to the party just yet. She never wanted to go in the first place. Who would wish to enter the home of a dangerous little bird like that with the Bennett family, regardless! Hodgepodge! She puffed out her cheeks angrily, considering this.

But no, she had little choice. The drive of scientific curiosity left her on edge. So she needed another ride ...
She could call her dear brother at the Bennett household, and he could easily assist in her little experiment. Ahaha!

Fatime walked over to Julius, mustering up the courage to put on the most sincere, cutest little smile she could manage.
She tried not to crack it under the cold. Her fingertips shivered, and she tried to hide the sharp shaking of her knees with her large coat.
She looked up at the tall teacher and quickly tried changing the e-book file on her tablet, finding words.
Ah!
With her trembling fingers, she momentarily dropped her tablet. It landed with a soft thud in the snow. Aaaah ... oh no oh no oh no! She felt her heart rate rise. Quickly, Fatime bent down to pick it up and slipped on some ice, falling flat on her stomach in front of Julius.

Her body was hit with a cannon shock of cold that gripped her entire body. Her bag fell to the ground, but thankfully its contents didn't spill out. She struggled like a turtle on its shell, her limbs splaying forward, her hands trying to grasp her tablet.

She felt so helpless. She wanted to cry, right here, but no, she couldn't! Not in front of the Professor!
So she clenched her teeth and tried to get up. She was shaking from the chilly winds and her bones rattled, but she was able to make it to her knees. She picked up her tablet and tried getting up, but fell backwards sharply on her bottom. She winced, and she felt the familiar feeling of tears by her eyes. But these tears, they were the sort chilled by the immense cold, and so they stung into her face like bullets.

No! No! She couldn't be this uselessly pathetic!
She tried to get up again, and this time, slowly but surely, she made it to her feet. Leaning down, then rising upward, her legs shook, and she deftly picked up her bag, moving onto a softer patch of snow. The white cotton fluff made it to her stockings, and the cold began to jab at the ends of her legs.

Her hands were still trembling. She opened the e-book, to a story called "Fabulous Drunk Women" by Thomas Ciel-corazon.

Be confident ... be confident ...

She cleared her throat.
<< She said with a sigh, "may I go with you to the party tonight?" >>

Julius could only sigh as he continued on towards his car. His destination was unknown and though Sophie's party sounded like great fun, he really didn't feel like going there and crashing their party...after all surely they must of had enough quality time with Julius by now due to the rehearsals. "Heh....Don't wanna crash their party now...who'd want an old geezer like me chilling around" Julius said silently to himself as he walked on with a chuckle before he suddenly stopped.

A voice called out to him and turning around Julius faced the girl that was heading towards him "hmm? whats up- WHOA THERE" Julius said upon noticing the girl falling flat on her stomach. He began to crouch down in order to help the poor girl up but the girl had already tried to get up only once again to fall on her butt. "Err...not the most coordinated one are you..." Julius said softly as he helped her and began to dust off any snow from her "lets be more careful shall we?" Julius said with a grin before leaving the girl to be.

Crossing his arms Julius listened to her request and placed his hand on his chin. "well...I'm not actually going to the party....but...I guess it won't hurt to drop you off" Julius said with a grin as he led her to the car "well then lets hop in and go" Julius said.

MOOD HMM❤!! 14%WEARING

I'LL KEEP ALL YOUR SECRETS . . . MAYBE.

♡ ~ ✖ ~ ♡

With everyone situated in her house, Sophie disappeared into the foyer of her home with Lucas, to who she was talking about the others with. All clothing but her dress had been removed and she was barefooted, crossing her legs on the black leather couch that sat against a parchment-textured wall.

Most everyone will be staying here tonight, though I doubt any of them will be making it to rooms.

Will you be keeping a companion?

Sophie looked at Lucas with a sly smile. Always knowing, he seemed to be. Perhaps not tonight. Pierce has a drinking problem, I think, so that would make most situations with her regrettable ( for her ), and Quentin doesn't seem eager to speak with me. I could always seduce one of the others, but they're of not interest to me if they're not Oliver or you.

A hurried set of footsteps interrupted the two, and Sophie looked up to seen an anxious looking Pierce.

S - Sorry, Lucas, b - but I really need to steal S - Sophie.

She wondered what the hurry was and Lucas gave her one of his knowing smiles that passed onto her face. Before she could bid him goodbye, Pierce was dragging her away, with no grip on her arm. What could be the hurry? She wondered if Pierce had decided to try and seduce Sophie instead of the other way around, how silly. When they came into one of the bathrooms and the door was locked behind her, her suspicions were amped, but she didn't say anything.

I have been waiting to talk to you all day!

A laugh escaped Sophie's glossed lips, Yes, I humbly accept your marriage proposal. she joked, What is it?

She listened to what Pierce had to say about . . . Oliver. Her smile had dissipated when hearing everything. Well, this was . . . unexpected. And a little not-pleasing. Carefully, she thought of what to say. There were a few roads she could take; one, talk Pierceout of this 'silly' notion of Oliver liking her, two, mock her for the notion even passing through her mind, three, encourage it and wait for a peak, then destroy it, four, get closer to Oliver.

When Pierce looked at her with the vivid chocolate eyes, Sophie smirked.

Hmm. You two have been spending quite a bit of time together, she said, feigning thoughtfulness, But I would be careful. Don't jump into anything yet. It's a long shot that he likes you because you're Pierce. Be honest, you two barely know a thing about each other — if he did like you, what was he basing that off of? It seems rather sudden to me, this 'date'.

Sophie ran a thumb down Pierce's cheek and smiled, then leaned back against the bathroom door. I would wait. It would be practically silly of you to let yourself be swept off your feet, only to be tossed away later. Though that was a real warning, not that Sophie didn't practice something like herself on others.

The wondrous, innocent, and hopeful look on Pierce's face only made the situation that much more fun to handle. You're so cute. she said, leaning in to kiss the girl on the cheek, We'll wait and see what happens. she then murmured into the other's ear, and opened the bathroom door. Come, back downstairs we go.

Sophie grabbed Pierce's hand and they headed back to the kitchen where Sophie greeted the others, and said thank you to Tucker for the cake. Oliver and Pierce . . . It would definitely be better to wait it out, at least for a little while.

... It's a long shot that he likes you because you're Pierce. ... It was one thing for Pierce to think it, but to actually hear Sophie speak her inner thoughts really stung. She waS grateful to have chosen the floor, because she probably wouldn't be able to stand by now. Pierce bit down on her bottom lip until she began to draw blood. She listened silently as Sophia went on, uncaring towards the pain. When Sophie rubbed her thumb against Pierce's cheek, a shiver ran down her spine. She suddenly felt very chill and there was a pins and needles sensation pricking her body. Sophie was smiling when she leaned back against the bathroom door, but Pierce just looked up at her with sad puppy eyes. It only made sense that Sophie was smiling. Her friend enjoyed torturing her and this actually rather hurt. Sophie continued, talking about waiting. It wasn't like she had any intentions of 'making a move,' but she thought Sophie would at least give her a little encouragement. That was asking too much...

You're so cute. Sophie said, leaning in to kiss the her on the cheek, We'll wait and see what happens. she then murmured into the other's ear, and opened the bathroom door. Come, back downstairs we go. Pierce's face was burning red from the closeness Sophie had just demonstrated. Her heart palpitated and she turned her head away in embarrassment. Pierce took Sophie's hand and pulled herself to her feet. She fixed her sparkly dress and followed her friend downstairs.

When they were back in the kitchen, Pierce got herself a glass of water, feeling feverish. She took a seat by herself and the table and sipped the water. She was ready to go home, no longer in the party mood. Maybe her mom could pick her up. She reached down the front of her dress when no one was looking and pulled out the black smartphone. She sent a quick text to her mom, asking if she could come get her, and then set the phone down on the table beside the elbow Oliver had bandaged up a few days ago.

ooc: merry christmas! <3

Richie thought the performance went fantastically! Everyone performed, even though some of the actors seemed a bit... out of it. Maybe it was a little bit of stage fright, or maybe just general nerves. Either way, most didn't seem to be one hundred percent. Still, with that in mind, if this was when they weren't their best, how would their best performance look? The thought made the blonde smile slightly. He looked to his side and noticed the present Elisa left him. He hadn't opened it yet, since he both of them to open their presents are the same time. Unfortunately, the boy had forgotten his best friend's present in his car and thus he was unable to open his. Besides, he wouldn't want to miss the look on Elisa's face when she saw what he got her, and he was positive she wanted the same.

After Sophie had finished explaining her house rules, the boy peered around the voluminous room for his best friend. She was nowhere in sight. Richie clutched the long present tightly with his two arms, the box slightly rubbing across his face. They left the theater around the same time, so what could be holding her up? Maybe she was caught in traffic...? The blonde was a little worried, but she came late to occasions sometimes. Hopefully she'd be here soon though. Those booze sounded pretty tempting right about now...

In the mean time, Richie took a seat on a nearby chair and observed the semi-crowded room. Well, there were quite a few people in there, but it looked like so little compared to the size of the room. He admired the paintings on the wall, and the elegance and atmosphere of the whole house in general. Obviously, Sophie's family had some serious cash to afford such a beautifully decorated home. Richie would have to compliment the girl next time he saw her.

By the time Natalie arrived at the party, everyone was already in full swing, interacting with one another.

Not feeling much like interacting with anyone, she sat on the couch, alone and not much caring about what people thought of her habits.

Of course, the her from two years ago wouldn't be here. She'd be at home, in her PJ's, watching her favorite Christmas specials from a certain British TV Show... But that show was too painful for her. The memories of camp that went with it had made her dislike the show completely and come up with 905 things to do instead of watching it. Even then, she wasn't accustomed to parties, since she never went to them.

Natalie sighed, then pulled out her phone and texted Alex.

'Friend' already. Well, he technically WAS a friend. They had talked at camp before, hasn't they? Either way, she figured she may as well enjoy the party, although the alchohol made her afraid to have any drinks. Well, maybe a couple of them. Or a lot. Natalie didn't care. She didn't have anyone to impress, and if she ended up having sex with some guy or girl or whatever because she was drunk, whatever. It was all the same to her one way or another. But Alex was coming too... With any luck, none of what she had just thought of would happen, and she'd hang out with Alex all of tonight. She'd like that. She'd like that a lot.

Fatime cut off the call with dearest Lucas, her hand shaking ever so slightly. Wonderful, wonderful! He would help with her preparations for this little experiment. All she had to do was get there, and it was certainly in her luck that she was able to find someone to take her there even in the midst of everything. Unfortunately, Christmas night was a surprisingly quiet affair; few cars were on the road even this late at night, and the winds were not as loud as she expected them to be. So for the first part of her trip, she sat with her teacher in an ocean of awkward silence.

How terrible. She needed to make some kind of small talk with this man to establish a relationship. Relationships, ah yes, they were always useful in the future when you needed to use someone for something, wasn't it true? The earlier she started and developed a useful one like this, the easier it would be for her to call upon his help in the future ... Ahaha! Fatime snickered. She reached for the radio knob and turned the music to some random station.

{ m u s i c }
[ bonfire of the vanities ]

It would calm the mood set for this entire debacle. But wait! She probably already made a terrible impression with the beginning ... dammit, dammit! Calm yourself, Fatime. You have control of this situation, and you always do. She could probably say something, but-- but why was it so cold tonight?! Ugh. Fatime lowered her eyebrows in venomous spite, as if ready to strike a defenseless animal at her legs playfully dangling over the seat edge. She fought back the urge to shiver, but the cold was driving her up the wall.

Maybe this would be a good start? Haha ...

She turned to Julius and picked a quote from a classic adventure novel, Steel Ball Fun, by Bitte Joestar.

<< "Internal car heating?" Joseph Jufran asked, flexing his muscles and posing in the starlight to keep himself warm. >> Fatime said this with a voice as cold and emotionless as Cold War steel.

Traveling with Fatime was...weird to say the least. Occasionally the man would constantly shift his gaze over to the girl to check up on her and quite frankly the faces the girl made were quite weird. She looked like something was up and if Julius knew any better the girl looked like she needed to go to the washroom or something. At this point Julius had no idea what to exactly say.

She began to say something familiar to him, but he didn't even ****ing know what the hell she was saying so he just raised an eyebrow and nodded confused. As he drove he thought about maybe giving the others some gifts since he was going to drop in. Unfortunately nothing was really opened on Christmas so he had to stick with the only open store he could find. Parking and running in, Julius bought the finest chocolates for the kids and even though some might not actually like it, he really didn't have much time to actually buy them all something. With the items bought Julius walked out of the store and placed his gifts over into the backseat and brought one up. "Here ya go girly! sorry if you don't like chocolate, but Merry Christmas!" Julius said happily handing her the box.

With a smile they were soon off and feeling more merry, he was willing to talk with the strange girl. "so you like to read? that great! keep at it and...err..you'll get far or something...err small talk isn't my forte" Julius said chuckling a bit as he kept his eyes (or eye) on the road. The distance was quite far and as he drove he noticed something up ahead. A light shone up ahead as with each second it grew bigger and bigger at an intense speed. Julius' eye widened as though he tried his best he was too late...

The crash was deadly and the pain that the man felt was near unbearable. The drunken fools that chose to drive sealed their fate and now have fallen into their eternal sleep. Weakened, Julius could only open his eye slightly as his head rested on the steering wheel of his car. His fading vision, but he struggled to look at the person sitting beside him. "Girl..ly" Julius muttered weakly. He needed to get her out, if it was him alone then he would have passed out a long time ago, but he needed to push himself for the girls sake. Everything was a blur, but he grabbed the girl and with all his strength he pulled the girl out of the car, landing on the nearby grass. His body colasped, Julius merely tsked as he laid on the ground "damn...how worthless can I be..." Julius said weakly as he stared up at the sky before his eye closed, never to be awakened again....that is up until he reaches the hospital...

WEATHERSNOWING, COLD 26°! ✖『DATE & TIME』 12/26/2015 - ??? ✖『DAY』 05 Ver. 2

Noëlle was unhappy. She didn't much like the thought of getting drunk around these people, nor did she like the idea of getting into a pool, indoor or not, in twenty degree weather, or engaging in sexual intercourse with any of the available guests. Fatigue and hunger consumed her more than anything, and she found herself sipping on a soda and eating snacks somewhere on the first floor.

She wanted to go home. It was late, Christmas had dragged on forever, and there was nothing she felt like doing here. Most of the night was spent occasionally smiling at people she knew, who passed her, and being as socially evasive as possible, without coming across as a total prude. It was funny to her, though, how easily people just kind of ... indulged. She wasn't sure if anyone had had sex yet, but throw a bunch of young adults and teenagers into a house with no responsible supervision and some risque activities and watch 'em go nuts, she guessed. It wasn't everyone, but it was enough to be really annoying, and just the thought of such sheep mentality irritated her!

That's what she told herself, at least.

The play had gone on without a hitch and she had attended the after-party with full intent on enjoying herself. Somehow, though, that just ... didn't happen. Maybe in the beginning she hadn't been in such a bitter mood, but the night dragged on and her eyes got heavier and heavier, she found herself basically soaking in a self-created storm of negativity; brooding over everything that was wrong in her life and with the world.

She was lonely.

When her sixth soda was finished, she picked herself up and started on a search for the bathroom. After that she would go find Bryan and ask when he wanted to leave, assuming they'd go together ... On second thought, maybe she'd just try to get home herself.

It was snowing.

Sure, it wasn't Christmas anymore, but it was still pretty scenic. Blurry white orbs of frozen rain drifting down sleepily from a mask of bloated white clouds. The warm glow of the streetlamps gave a beautiful shimmer to the thinly blanketed streets and sidewalks, and the sound of ice crunching underneath her boots brought her measurable reassurance.

Honestly, she had no idea where she was going at first. Her legs were cold under the thin stretch of nylon, and her arms were absorbing warmth from her chest, crossed, folded and tucked under her shoulders. She walked for a long while before the streets became familiar to her again, but even then, she would have a long while to go before she reached home.

Either the buses would start running again before she made it, or a taxi would pass by. [ She wished for the latter ]. Candlewood wasn't a particularly dangerous town, but it had been hardwired into her brain that walking alone in the dead of the night, as a woman, was always a bad idea. Somehow she just couldn't be bothered to initially give a shit.

If something happened, it happened.

How irresponsible of me. At least I'm not drunk, too.

It didn't matter though. All this proved to her was that she needed a job, and a car of her own. Or a boyfriend. Or a friend.

Time alone had been nice, but now she was just cold and homesick. She thought back to the party and wondered what Bryan was up to. Had he drank? It would have been interesting, she thought, to see him drunk. Something she might have taken advantage of a year or two ago.

A bench came into view and she used one of her pale hands to sweep a bit of snow away, plopping down and drawing her phone out from her handbag. There were a couple of people she could usually turn to in situations like these. Bryan had fallen off of that list not too long ago, [ her mother had done the same a while back ], but Joey and Julius were still there.

Julius had been called first. He hadn't shown up to the party, and that was disappointing, but he generally answered her calls and messages as promptly as possible. That, and he would ask less questions than Joey would. When he didn't answer, worry was pushed aside, and Joey was called.

Mmn ... Y'ello? His voice was gruff and beyond groggy sounding. Thick and slurry ...

Are you drunk? It wasn't as much of a question as a blandly toned statement. He was useless if he was drunk.

What are you ... tal--king ...? What do you need? Is everything okay? The pause was enough indication. Unless he was just drunk on sleep deprivation. She sighed exasperated a bit immaturely into the phone.

Useless, useless, useless ...

Nothing, Joey. Go back to sleep. Sorry! She hung up the phone immediately after, and hoped he wouldn't call back.

Well, fine. She would sit out here for a bit, and then go back to walking. Maybe that taxi would stroll by ... or Julius would call her back. Or something ... Someone.

In the meantime, a cigarette was drawn and lit.

Frederick "Freddie" Anderson
DAY: 5 - 3/4 | DATE: December 25, 2015 | LOCATION: Sophie's House

After the play, Freddie had gone home to pick up somethings from his bathroom. Sophie had invited him to her house for the after party. It was nice of her to include him in the activities, all things considered. He had nothing to do with the play other than buying a ticket and watching. Whatever. It'd be fun to have a party. All he got from his bathroom was his toothbrush and some toothpaste. He definitely didn't want to bring Aria since there would be alcohol there. Freddie + Aria + Drunk People = No fun at all.

Unfortunately, on his way to her house, there was massive traffic. Something had happened somewhere and it was affecting him. He sat in traffic for hours on end. It was a nightmare. Sitting there, waiting to move, even an inch. He had nothing to do since he left Aria at home. With boredom rearing its ugly head, he turned on the radio. Luckily, the station he tuned to was playing AC/DC songs the whole day. That would keep the boredom away for a while.

The hours passed, and he had barely gone a couple of miles from where he was before. He started to slowly bang his head against the steering wheel of his car. Freddie looked at his watch to check the time. 12:49 already. "Aaaaaah, I am so fucking late, already. She is gonna kill me." Sophie wasn't one to tolerate people being late. He knew that for sure.

Even more time had passed and the traffic had finally let up. About fucking time, too. It was almost 1:39 already. He rushed to Sophie's house as fast as he could. He didn't know for sure if there was anything he could do to make it up to her, but he sure as hell had to do something.

Against all odds, Freddie finally found his way over to her house. Granted, it was a little past two already. "I am so dead." He quickly parked his car in a nearby, empty space and made his way to the door. He rang the doorbell, hoping nothing too major had happened while he was stuck in traffic. Still, he prepared himself for the worst from Sophie.

MOODSIGH❤??35%WEARINGOOC

INSERT BRYAN + ERIK BONDING.

Sophie's party hadn't really been for Bryan, but he came mostly for Noëlle's sake, even if she had disappeared ten minutes after they arrived. He thought she might have wanted space to be with other people, and this was a good place for that, but then he couldn't find her anywhere. He was tempted to ask Lucas for help in searching, since he seemed to know where everyone was at all times.

. . . And then Lucas popped up ( from out of nowhere, he might add ) and told him that Noëlle left Sophie's house and was on foot, Bryan had no objections to quickly leaving Erik's side ( it was really wonderful talking to him, Bryan admitted ) and leaving the house in search of her, without saying goodbye to his host. Noëlle always came first, in these kinds of situations.

He'd been advised to drive slow, which was a good idea, so he went at about 25mph, looking on the side of the road with his headlights on, searching for any signs of his sister. God, why did she leave without telling him? He was a bit agitated at that, but she did seem troubled, and . . . Had there really been no one for her at the party? She could have told him, they would have gone home together . . .

Bryan guessed that they weren't back at that stage yet.

It felt like forever until he had found her, that he began to lose hope that he would find her at all, which worried him because of this bad weather. He quietly cursed himself for not paying more attention — then again, he didn't even know what he was doing anymore when it came to Noëlle. What did he want from her? She was lonely, she told him, but they needed their space because their previous relationship hadn't been . . . healthy?

He shook his head. "Maybe if we weren't brother and sister, spending all of that time together wouldn't be so bad." It wasn't really so bad to begin with, but Ms. Chambers . . . made him feel bad about it, and so did their aunts and uncles and other family as they got older . . . He gripped the steering wheel a little tighter, his face heating in frustration.

Off to the side, a small figure with a lit cigarette drew his eye, and he pulled the car to a stop. A few seconds later, he rolled down the window, and frowned, "Noëlle?" he asked, leaning forward to get a better look. Her smoking habit . . . Ugh. Still, for now, it was better not to berate her about it, "It's cold as heck out here, you shouldn't have gone off alone . . . I'm sorry for — . . ." For what? Well, for everything . . . "Sorry." he then mumbled, and opened the door, motioning for her to get in.
