    Analise looked up over her pad of paper to see the cat from the day before sitting in front if her. Analise bent over and pet the cat before turning around to look at it's owner, basil. "How long have you been standing there?" She asked. Up until the cat meowed she had been completely oblivious to everything and everyone around her. If he had been there. For a while she had no idea. A couple seconds passed before Analise realized that her picture was of a wilting, dying rose, and the gardeners assistant was the one looking at it. She tried to as casually as possible to cover the picture with her arms. "so...." She said with a nervous giggle.

    Lilica found herself on her way to the Music Room. She wasn't feeling particularly hungry partly because she believe that eating was necessary in the Dream World , because it well... it was a dream. Taking the "Miracle" pill didn't seem necessary to her because her life was better when she wasn't at home. Her mother didn't have to worry about her and all the trouble she caused. The problem was she wasn't really sure how much trouble she caused. Lili didn't remember what home was like. It was kind of like when you have something on the tip of your tongue. You know what it it, but you can't quite seem to grasp it. Lilica would often find herself lost in thoughts like this when she was normal. That's what she would hear the doctors say when she was showing any symptoms.

    She was normal now, as she entered the Music Room, which also happened to be the Music Room only to discover that someone was already there. He looked familiar but Lili hasn't really gotten to know him "Hello." She said hesitating."Do you mind if I'm in here to? I can leave if not." Lilica didn't want to seem like a pushover, but since he was in there alone maybe he didn't want any company. Well, she was already in the room, wasn't she?

    It's been weird. I feel different and everyone is acting different. It's still processing. Even for a dream it's so ... so ... so ... surreal.
    Xyloh nodded at this statement and spoke, "They have been... I have been too...I've been, thinking more about things during this dream. Things I feel like I have been ignoring... and it's... different..." She was still convinced she was dead, but some of the things she blocked out in belief that she was dead were coming to light, and it was making things feel more and more alive, despite still being a dream.
    "Pencil is correct! I'll be on my way if that is all."

    "Yay! Thank you so much for that riddle. It was fun." She then took a seat in a chair nearby and looked over at Leah again and continued, "Although they say it is a dream... I... almost feel alive again... That can't be right, can it?"

    Basil sheepishly backed away from Analise and shrugged his shoulders nervously. He didn't mean to be so nosey, but he was curious what the girl was doing. The cat meowed and circled around Analise's legs, rubbing up against her like she was an old friend.

    "Basil? Where are you, boy?"

    The young boy stiffened, looking to where the voice had come from. Jonquil poked his head in and sighed. "Young Basil, how many times have I told you not to bother the guests?" The Head Gardener chuckled nervously and stepped in the room. "I am so sorry, he sometimes doesn't know his place!"

    Basil ducked his head and looked down at the floor, sorely ashamed of himself.

    ~~~
    Charles bowed to the ladies and walked away from them. Though he acted like he did not hear a word they said, he was listening very carefully to them...
    Analise was startled when the boy backed away. She didn't intend to scare him off. "No it's okay. I don't mind you here... I just didn't think my drawing was something appropriate for a gardener.to look at." Analise explained as she picked.up Basil's cat and places it in her lap. It was then that Jonquil walked in adding Basil. "No, No don't do that. Don't hit him!" She yelled out before realizing what she had said. By this point she had a good idea that generally wasn't something people did when getting someone in trouble, it was just what she was used to. Analises face turned bright red as she looked down. "I-I mean, it's okay he was no bother. I enjoyed the company actually." She explained.trying to ignore her previous outburst.
    Elton had kept himself holed up in the music room for who-knew-how-long, but time seemed to flow differently when he was playing his music. It was most certainly the bestest passtime and there was no one who did it better than him – and anyone who thought otherwise was just completely dumb.
    The hair of the bow moved slowly against the thick strings of the cello, producing a rich sound as he played Abaco's No.11. The music almost reflected the mood he was too stubborn to admit; a little anxious. Not sleeping had always been the norm, but ever since he had come to this dream world, it was so easy to close his eyes and drift away.
    It was just really weird.
    To trapped in the music, he didn't hear the door open, which must have come unlocked during the time he was napping. That was annoying. The bow suddenly ground against the strings, screaming a scratchy screech that was nails on a chalkboard.
    Hello. ◗ It was a girl's voice, and if it was Kyla again – that annoying little twat – he was going to impale her with the bow through her windpipe. ◖ Do you mind if I'm here, too? I can leave if not.
    If not. ◗ he mumbled to her, not turning to look her way. ◖ ¹Byung-shin . . . ◗ he mumbled again. Suddenly not wanting to talk, Elton nibbled at his bottom lip and then continued playing his piece until it was finished. His eyes delicately danced from the strings to the girl and then back to the ground.
    "Hm? Oh." Jonquil pushed his glasses up his nose and smiled kindly at Analise. "Well, if you don't mind his company, may he stay with you for a while? He's getting under my feet, you see." Jonquil would be more than happy to dump Basil off his back for a moment. He could trust the guest of the house to look after the shy troublesome little boy. Basil was getting on his last nerves after all. Patience was running thin. "I must go attend to the garden, but if you don't want Basil near you, feel free to shoo him away. Ta da~" With a wave, Jonquil left the room with Basil, the mangy cat, and the girl all alone.
    [IMG]
    Basil looked at Analise, smiling in gratitude towards her. He kept his head low though and didn't say a word. He pointed to the sketch book that Analise had and then gestured to himself. He wanted to have a good look at it again. He loved to see what people were up to after all.. Despite the yelling, the cat stayed on the girl's lap, quite enjoying the attention it was receiving. Though the cat wasn't welcomed in the house, Basil just made sure he didn't wander anywhere near the kitchen.
    "If not."
    Was that supposed to be a response? He didn't even glance in her direction.
    Lilica pursed her lips when she heard the strange person mumble something that wasn't in english, but she couldn't tell what language it was. He started playing again. The sound was beautiful as the bow slowly danced across the wooden instrument. She was almost sad when it was over, he had play perfectly.
    The boy's eyes went her then to his instrument. Lilica shifted nervously. The silence was getting uncomfortable. Since he didn't seem like he was going to say anything Lilica reluctantly decided she would. " That sounded amazing," she complimented with a smile, " You're really good." Lilica walked further into the music room. While she still wasn't entirely sure he wanted her in there she wasn't going to stay where she was just because of him. After all that boy wasn't the only one who could play an instrument. Lilica probably couldn't play the violin as well as he played his cello, but she could still play.
    "No I don't mind if he stays at all." Analise assured Jonquil before giving him a small wave goodbye. Analise then looked over to Basil. He seemed to be wanting to see her sketch book, or at least that was her guess. "Um.. Do you want to look at this?" She asked holding up the sketch book. "Do you not speak?" She asked curiously realizing she didn't think she heard him talk yet. "it's just as well I don't know how to hold a conversation myself." She said quietly as she looked down at her lap and stroked the cat some more.
    LEAH had an interesting time spent with Xyloh for the rest of the day. They didn't really do much, but that was okay. They were still just trying to process everything. They met with small groups of the others for lunch and dinner. Not everyone liked meeting for all the meals anymore. It was amazing the one morning she came down and everyone was at breakfast, oh well. They talked more and hung out in the game room and then eventually headed back to the girls' room after dinner.
    Then there was more talking and stuff and Leah changed and went to bed and yeah .... I got nothing ...
    Xyloh enjoyed the rest of her conversation with Leah, and then they went about the day doing thing she couldn't quite remember, because she wasn't 100% focused on what was going on around her, it was still processing in her mind. It seemed to be the same way with Leah too. After dinner, Leah headed off to bed, and Xyloh was heading that way too before she got distracted by something else.
    At this point of the day, no one else was in the music room. She had avoided this place for the longest time although she knew it was here. It was one of the things she tried to move on from after she died. Music. She hadn't touched an instrument in years. Any. She may have sung once or twice but she hadn't touched an instrument in so long.
    She looked among the selection of instruments, and froze when she saw a blue violin. It was like the one her grandmother gave her. Exactly like the one her grandmother gave her. This didn't surprise her too much because of the dream situation, but it still made her pause for a moment.
    She picked up the violin and the bow, and put it up in playing position, and tried to familiar herself with it. After a good half an hour doing that, she finally got back into the swing of things. She was a little upset because she used to be able to play it so well, but because of her lack of practice, she could barely manage Ode to Joy on the violin.
    After a few more minutes of trying to play, she shook her head and placed the blue violin back, and headed to the girl's room where she managed to fall asleep for the night.
    Most of Laurence's day was spent in bed, sleeping the day away trying to get away the awful headache that had assaulted his mind. It was quite strange really, the day before was a complete blur to him which saddened him greatly. He always loved thinking about the glorious times he shared with his brothers and sisters. What was more saddening for Laurence was that he couldn't remember sharing any moments with his goddess the other day so that almost made him tear up.
    Was this some sort of curse that was placed on him? no it couldn't be, he was far too loving of a servant to be cursed. Maybe it was a trial? yes...it was a trial that he needed to pass. Without hesitation, Laurence rose to his feet from his bed and got himself dressed. He noticed his sunglasses were in his pockets and that was...strange for him, but he paid little heed of it like he usually did and moved on.
    And so the day moved on like any other. Laurence, made use of the mansions facilities and enjoyed himself to the fullest and sang songs of praise for his goddess happily. It was such an amazing day for him and there were no conflict or disaster. Unfortunately time for sleep had come again so he had to march on over to his bed. He was quite saddened by the sudden turn of events, but then again tomorrow was a new day He fell asleep at bed, awaiting the next day.
    After her trip to the music room and the encounter with that weird guy Lilica decided to explore the house some more. But after a while she got bored and headed to bed. Which was weird because she was already asleep. Sleeping when you're already sleep was strange, but what was even more strange was that Lilica actually felt tired. She sometimes went days without sleeping, so she normally wouldn't be tired now. It's probably because of this Dream World. Something was really off about this place
    Lilica shrugged away those thoughts as she climbed into bed. She could think about that stuff when she woke up. Right now she would sleep. As the girl curled up into her blanket, the remainder of her thoughts melted away. Eyes closed, she finally drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
    That sounded amazing. You're really good.
    At least the byung-shin had good taste in music. He wasn't sure what to say to her. Of course it sounded amazing. Of course he was really good.
    She walked further into the room and it became apparent that his willing her away wasn't working at all. He was disappointed.
    Elton stood up, cello neck in hand, and looked at her. He opened his mouth, but then closed it again. Surely she didn't come because she'd heard him playing. He would have rather it been someone like Xyloh – who also played the cello.
    I know . . . ◗ he mumbled in reply, and then set the cello down in a corner of the room. ◖ It's late. I'm going to bed.
    And so he did, in his room after leaving the girl alone.
    Basil shook his head, answering Analise question. He watched as his cat continue to bask in the attention, purring all the while. He smiled and came back over to the girl, taking a look at her sketch once more. For the rest of the afternoon, Basil spent time with Analise. He liked her very much. The day soon passed by quickly though, and before he knew it, it was time for everyone to go to bed. He lead Analise to the Girl's Room with the others and then bowed to her, silently thanking her for being his friend for the day. After he saw her off to bed like a good servant should, Basil picked up his cat and headed downstairs to the servants quarters. After changing into his nightgown, he curled up in his bed and fell asleep with his cat curled up next to him.
    The day was quite dull today. Dream Maker could feel that some of the children felt at home while others were still continuing to have their doubts and fears. She walked to the window in her room, looking out into the darkness of the dream world. A wolf howled, not to far away, but Dream Maker paid no mind to it. "So, they are adjusting nicely then?" Dream Maker asked, keeping her gaze on the shadows in the woods.
    The figure in the dark corner of the room bowed lowly. "Quite. Though some of them still doubt your goodness." Dream Maker pressed her hand on the glass, tapping the cool surface with her fingernails. "It is to be expected... It is not a perfect world after all. Still," she said with a sigh, "I wish I could make things better for them..."
    Dream Maker suddenly felt a chill run down her spin, and then a pulsating throb through her head. She gasped at the sudden surprise, clutching her head with her free hand. "Mistress, are you alright?" the shadow asked, his voice wavering.
    "...They all have such tragedies, such darkness inside of them," the goddess of dream mumbled, shaking her head. "It will soon begin..."
    Ainsley was enjoying her stay in the Dream World so much. She had a fun day today. First she played with a doll house that had the most beautiful furniture and dolls she had ever seen, then she found a swing that was hung in the ceiling and played on that for a while, then she went swimming, had a bath, and then after that, she had dinner. All these activities made her extremely exhausted and she went to bed with the intent of falling into a deep sleep... Her slumber however was disturbed with a poke. Ainsley groaned, turning her head into the pillow. "Go away," she sleepily ordered, trying to find that peace once more in her sleep. She was poked again, and again, but Ainsley ignored it... Suddenly, she was thwaped on the head quite hard. "Ow!" Ainsley whispered harshly, sitting up in her bed while rubbing her head. When she looked down, she was started to see Mr. Bear standing there in front of her. This was Sammy's companion, not hers. Why was he here? "Mr. Bear, go back to Sammy," Ainsley whispered.
    Mr. Bear shook his head though with folded arms and then hopped off the bed, running to the door to the hallway. Ainsley frowned, getting out of her comfortable bed. "Mr. Bear, come back!" Ainsley whispered loudly, trying hard not to disturb the others. It seemed as if the door opened on its own, and Mr. Bear ran out of the room. Ainsley wrinkled her nose and then tiptoed passed her sleeping roommates and out to the hallway. She spotted Mr. Bear on top of the stairs, and before she could call out to him, he waved to her and then rolled down the stairs. Ainsley knew it wasn't a good idea to be up and about. Dream Maker told them that they needed their sleep to be happy. But she didn't want Mr. Bear to get in trouble, because that meant that Sammy would get in trouble too. So with determination, Ainsley ran after the bear, the bedroom door shutting gently behind her on its own.
    Ainsley saw Mr. Bear land on his bum when he reached the bottom of the stairs and shake his head from the fall. She was close to him, but as soon as she was in arm's length, he rushed off towards the Exercise Room. "Come back!" Ainsley hissed at him, but he would not listen. The little girl ran after the animated bear, him leading her to the library. Again, the door opened on its own, and as soon as Ainsley came through, it closed softly behind her. She looked around, seeing Mr. Bear disappear behind a bookcase and ran after him. She stopped short and gasped. They were in front of the Forbidden Door; the door that Butler Charles said was locked, but they were to not touch it. However, when Mr. Bear walked up to it, it opened for him just like the other doors did.
    "Wait!" Ainsley called out to him, forgetting to be quiet. Her hands flew to her mouth, wishing she could take that moment back. Mr. Bear didn't wait though. He disappeared into the darkness of the hallway and out of Ainsley's sight. For once in the dream world, Ainsley felt her little frame shake. That place was off limits, they weren't suppose to go in there.
    ◖ ❀ Cowardliness isn't becoming of you, so you should be less pathetic in the future.
    The eleven year old flinched as Elly's words echoed in her mind once more. She thought she had locked them away, but she was wrong. Pathetic, she was being pathetic. She needed to be less afraid. Taking in a deep breath, Ainsley forced herself to step forward, following after the bear in the darkness. Ainsley blinked her eyes rapidly to adjust to the dimness of the room. She looked up, seeing that the hallway was lit up by candles. Ainsley heard a creak behind her, and a gentle slam of a door. She gasped, whirling around to see that the hallway door had closed behind her. Click. The door was locked once more. Ainsley swallowed hard. There was no turning back now. Ainsley pressed on, turning a corner in the narrow, dark, creepy hallway. It was so different from the rest of the house. She couldn't help but to shiver and hug herself. "Mr. Bear?" she whispered for him. "Mr. Bear? Where are you?" She soon turned a corner, and saw Mister Bear. He was on top of a set of stairs leading down further into the darkness.
    "Please come back," Ainsley pleaded. "Sammy will-" But the bear was already off, hopping down the stairs. Ainsley sighed out, feeling quite hopeless. She looked around her and then followed after the bear down further. The basement was also off limits... Oh man, she was going to be in some serious trouble if she got caught. As Ainsley reached the bottom, she noticed that the lighting seemed to get a little better. She looked around, seeing that the walls were a deep blue, and that the floor was like cobblestone almost. There were shelves lined up along the walls; all of them had glass jars with little light orbs. They almost looked like fireflies to Ainsley, but there was only one in each jar. But the atmosphere of this place... it almost seemed like a prison to her...
    Ainsley looked around for Mister Bear, anxious to get him and then get out of here as fast as she could. She spotted him clear across the room near some sort of wardrobe. There were six different kinds of wardrobes and cabinets; all of them were painted different shades of blue and had their own design. Mr. Bear opened the second one to the right with his paw and then hopped into it, closing the door behind him. Ainsley stomped her foot in frustration and walked across the room to the cabinet that the stupid stuffed bear disappeared into. "I don't want to play this game anymore," Ainsley stated firmly. "Mr. Bear, we are going back!" Ainsley opened the cabinet only to find nothing in there. "Mr. Bear?" She poked her head in, but saw nothing at all. Nothing was in the cabinet. "Where did you go?" Ainsley whispered.
    A shadow loomed behind the little girl, its footsteps getting closer and closer. The blonde felt something strange and gasped, wheeling around to face whoever it was behind her, and then-
    SLAM
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~

    In the Girl's Room, something lurked and crept along the beds of the sleeping children. It was silent, not even its footsteps could be heard. It came over to Kyla's bed and loomed over the sleeping girl. A grin showed on the face of the shadow, its eyes glowing red. The shadow pulled out a knife, which glinted in a moonlight. In an instant, Kyla was gone, swept away from the shadows.

    In the kitchen, there was a sound of whistling and clucking late in the night. The chef was up and about. Something that smelled good wafted through the kitchen and the entire house. Something sweet, yet strange...

    Kyla is dead.

    The morning seemed to be eerily quiet... Though the wind stirred gently in the trees outside, there was something unsettling in the air.

    When the girls woke up, nothing would seem out of place... Nothing... Except the empty beds of Kyla and Ainsley. Both beds had been neatly made as if no one had slept in them in the first place.

    The smell of breakfast wafted through the house, smelling sweet and also odd at the same time. Maybe some of you would notice, maybe not.

    Mr. Bear was tucked away with Sammy in her bed as well.

    Chef Tamsey whistled merrily as he sat his creations on the table, ready to be eaten and enjoyed. His oversized chicken servers were absent, but that was just fine with him. He was in a rather good mood today. After all, he was given a rare ingredient to his secret recipe last night. Oh it had been so long since he had it! He smelled the contents of the plate and then placed it reverently in front of the empty chairs. There would be two empty chairs at breakfast today. Such a pity... On the plate, there were perfectly cooked cubes of hash browns with bits of what it seemed like chicken mixed in with it. Was it chicken? Perhaps... Since the chickens were missing this morning. When he was finished serving, Chef Tamsey clapped his hands in delight and then rang a little bell, which sounded throughout all the house. "Time to wake up! Breakfast is served children!"

    [Analise groaned at the sound of the breakfast bell. She didn't want to get up yet. She had stayed up late the night before drawing a picture for her new found friend Basil. Not late enough to be awake when things went wrong in the girls dorm, but late enough to be tired now. She enjoyed spending time with Basil, he was good company and there was never any obligation to know how to hold a conversation since he couldn't talk anyways.

    Analise got dressed before gabbing her.sketch book and heading to the dining room paying no mind to those around her or the empty beds. She didn't much care for breakfast but didn't go to a meal the entire day beforeso she figured she had to today.

    Analise took a seat in the same spot she did a couple days before and looked at the good in front of her wondering if she needed to wait for the others before she began eating. Analise.places her closed sketch pad down on the table beside her food and waited for.some sort of instruction. She really just wanted it eat quick then run off to find Basil and show him her new drawing but figured that was a but rude.

    Lilica was sleeping in an odd position. The top half of her body hung off the side off her bed. How did she get this way? She wasn't sure. But when she heard the bell to eat, the girl woke with a startled jump which caused her to flip off the bed and land face first onto the floor with a painful thud.

    "Ow!" She complained, wincing from the pain. Lifting herself up off the floor Lilica had noticed that three of the beds in the room, excluding her own, were empty. Two of which looked like they haven't been slept in. The were probably already in the dining room.

    She made her way to the dining room. And upon arriving she had discovered that there was only one other person in the dining room. Lilica sat in the chair beside the other girl. "Good Morning," she said tiredly, " Do you know where the other two girls are?"

    Samantha woke up quickly. She had been sleeping for quite a while, her young, fragile mind still having trouble accepting that she was 'better'. She climbed out of bed and walked downstairs at the smell of food. Boy was she hungry. She continued sniffing in deep odors of the food, unable to guess exactly what food it was. It smelt almost of chicken, and yet something about it was slightly different. Whatever it was, it smelt good. She picked up pace now, her small feet now moving faster and faster as she hurried towards the food.

    As the child entered the dining room she sat down on a seat a couple of seats away from Analise, and the one next to Lilica. There was no particular reason for this, she simply sat in the seat that was closest to her as she entered. She put Mr Bear down on her lap, almost as though Mr Bear was her child and she was going to feed him, and then stared longingly at the food. "Mmmm...it smells so good!" Samantha exclaimed. She now turned to look at Lilica. "Do you know what it is?" she questioned. She almost completely ignored the question about the two girls missing, her mind solely on the food at that point.

    Analise looked up shocked anyone was willingly talking to her. "Oh um, good morning." She said trying to not seem so surprised. "What do you mean other girls went? I didn't realize anyone wasn't around. Maybe they just got up and went for a walk." Analise suggested not able to come up with any other explanation. She started to think through the people she saw in the room trying to figure out who was missing but was having a hard time. She didn't really know many of the girls not did she pay attention to who was there or not. She then realized she didn't even know this girls name. "Sorry but what's your name..." She asked sheepishly feeling like she should know from the hospital but had no clue.

    Just then someone else entered the room catching Analise's eye. It was Sammy. "Morning Sammy. Where were you yesterday? I didn't see you at all." +Analise asked. Perhaps she would introduce Sammy to Basil later if she wanted. "I was wondering the same thing." Analise lied. She actually didn't really care.
