The Dream Maker smiled kindly at Xyloh when she came in the dining room also. "Still confused about everything that is going on?" Dream Maker tried. She chuckled softly, gesturing for Xyloh to sit with her and Ainsley. "All is forgiven. Please, have a seat. You must be hungry." She interlaced her fingers together, resting her elbows lightly on the table. "This is all simply another world. It is neither Heaven nor Hell. But you can make it be which ever you want. This is the Dream World after all. It can be a good dream, or a bad dream. But that is up to you, Xyloh... Now, what would you two like to have for breakfast?"

Ainsley saw Xyloh walk in the room and waved a little to her to say hello. She lost track of what Dream Maker was telling the confused girl what this was all about and stared down at her place-mat. When she was asked what she would like to eat, Ainsley perked up. "Chocolate chip waffles with bacon and strawberries?" Ainsley asked shyly, keeping her voice low. She saw Dream Maker smile at her and nodded to the kitchen. "It shall be served momentarily."

"GREETING MY SISTERS AND MY BELOVED GODDESS! LET US DINE ON THE WONDROUS FOOD SET OUT BEFORE US AND SING SONGS OF PRAISE FOR OUR GLORIOUS GODDESS"

Ainsley almost jumped out of her chair when the big booming voice of Laurence sounded in the dining room. She almost glared at him, but then stopped. What was that on his head? She wrinkled her nose, finding him really, really odd. The Dream Maker only laughed as Laurence stepped in, obviously pleased with his presence. "And a good morning to you as well. Please, I am not a goddess. Just simply a Dream Maker. Xyloh, he has no affect on you in this world." Ainsley saw her wink at the young girl before Dream Maker turned back to Laurence and gently tugged on his new 'hat' "My, what unusual headwear you have. Would you like anything to eat, my dear?"

"Still confused about everything that is going on?"
Xyloh's eyes widened a bit when she completed her sentence, and then when the Hostess gestured to a seat, she gladly took it.
"All is forgiven. Please, have a seat. You must be hungry."
    "I am." she admitted softly.
"This is all simply another world. It is neither Heaven nor Hell. But you can make it be which ever you want. This is the Dream World after all. It can be a good dream, or a bad dream. But that is up to you, Xyloh... Now, what would you two like to have for breakfast?"
Xyloh let the words sink into her head a bit more, and she felt more relaxed about it. Just another world, and a dream world too. She liked the idea of that, but she never remembered having any control over her dreams before. Usually, she'd have nightmares that made her afraid, or good dreams that made her happy. But she just experienced them, she thought.
The question about breakfast also kept her thinking, she didn't have a preference and she never really had a preference ever. But she was hungry for meat, that was all she knew, "Um... I don't know. I kind of want sausage... but I don't kno-"
"GREETING MY SISTERS AND MY BELOVED GODDESS! LET US DINE ON THE WONDROUS FOOD SET OUT BEFORE US AND SING SONGS OF PRAISE FOR OUR GLORIOUS GODDESS"
The moment right there was the strangest thing she had felt so far. Xyloh knew the voice, knew what it meant, knew who it belonged too. But, she didn't have a reaction to it. She didn't feel afraid, she didn't want to hide until he was gone. The overly religious man who's commitment to it always made her feel like she would be purged out of the world with him there... and she wasn't even afraid. She was more afraid of the idea that she wasn't afraid of him.
"And a good morning to you as well. Please, I am not a goddess. Just simply a Dream Maker. Xyloh, he has no affect on you in this world... My, what unusual headwear you have. Would you like anything to eat, my dear? "
Xyloh turned cautiously towards Laurence and stared at the underwear on his head. She remembered hearing something about panties yesterday, but it was mainly blocked out when she was looking around at everything.
Xyloh turned back over towards, well, she called herself a Dream Maker, and noticed the tattoos on her neck and admired them, she thought they were pretty cool, and she decided to comment on them, "I like your tattoos, they are neat looking um... do you have a name I could call you?"

Leon had decided not to dine with the Dream Maker the previous night due to some uncertainty that he was feeling. After all it had only been one day since they got here so it made since why there would be some kind of doubt that he was feeling.
As he awoke this time, he simply left the Boy's Wing and headed towards the dinning room. No doubt that the smell he was smelling was breakfast. It probably would be a good thing to eat something now since he didn't before. It was a good thing during their tour yesterday that he pay attention to select things, it came in handy when he was finding his way to the dinning room.
Once there he saw that he wasn't the only one there. The Dream Maker herself and a few other people were already there as well. Seeing as how she was already there, he figured that he might as well sit with them instead of being an anti-social twat. "Yo." He said as he made his way towards the table and sat down.

He didn't particularly remember much from last night -- that much he attributed to his indifference to the whole situation -- but he woke up in the boys' shared room, still fully clothed. It seemed ridiculous that they could all sleep in the middle of a dream, but hey, it's not like he was going to let his guard down anytime soon. He lifted himself from the bed and exited the room in search of someone he didn't totally hate or ignore. Almost as if on cue, he noticed Laurence run off through the hall and to the dining room. He briefly remembered those creepy twins mentioning that the Dream Psycho was having breakfast and that they should show up, if only to stay on her good side. He thought it over for a moment and ultimately decided that he might as well made a decent impression, lest things in this hole turn sour for him. He might get locked up in that Chicken Kitchen. Eugh. He went the same way that Laurence had and was greeted by four of the inmates, one of whom happened to be Ainsley. He looked on at them, and it already looked like there had been a scene. He smelled the breakfast, a bit surprised that he could eat some real food after so long in that asylum, and decided to take a seat next to the one person he could actually stand there.

    "Hey."

He tried not to look at the old bag sitting right beside her, and smiled at the girl, who seemed less tense.

"You know, I still owe you that game of pool."

DAY: 3 - 1/5 MOOD: Strangely hungry LOCATION: Dining Table

It was bizarre to be standing in a place which was supposedly a dream world. Everything seemed real enough, though the so-called Miracle Drug might be to blame for that. That was one thing that pissed him off. He was told that he wouldn't dream, yet here he was, stuck in a damn dream house. To add on to the shit pile disguised as a cake, the others that had taken the drug were there too. If this was his own dream, none of them would've been there. In fact, no one else would've been anywhere near the place if he had anything to say about it. At the very least, the mansion was nice enough, and there was a butler, which wasn't too bad. Perhaps a saving grace of this "dream" was that there was a library with a whole slew of books. He figured that, he'd seen almost nobody else read, the library could be his little sanctuary from all of the other assholes in the house.

He had spent the previous day cooped up in there. Reading page after page of whatever books they had to offer. The well-read sadist had gone through the Complete Collection of Sherlock Holmes that day along with a few other books hardly worth mentioning. It was seriously refreshing to have all of that time to read. Though, by the time he had finished up with his reading, it was already time to go to sleep. That was a bummer, too, since he hadn't had anything to eat at all. Though it seemed strange that he felt the need to eat in a dream, and it was even stranger still that he felt tired. No matter, he had fallen asleep regardless of the oddity of the situation.

This morning, he had awoken with relative ease. Though, he still found annoyance in the fact that he was forced to share a room with the other guys. The anti-social teenager made his way out of there as soon as he could and made his way to the dining area. Breakfast should be being served soon and he wanted to make up for not even getting so much as a bite the other day. Even a bite of dust would've been better than nothing. Still, he took solace in the fact that he was able to read, which was more than enough to make up for that.

By the time he had gotten to the eating area, three of the annoyances were there, as well as this so called 'Dream Maker'. He was skeptical upon entering this place, but at least she had a pretty face. Almost too good to be real, though it did add to the possibility that she was a dream maker. Not that he cared too much about it, though. The skeptical young man took a seat away from the others as he waited for food to be served. He impatiently tapped his foot as he sat across and away from the rest of the group.

Analise woke up the next morning. She had been the only one to show up to dinner the night before. That made her rather uncomfortable and question whether or not she should actually go to breakfast. Her stomach was growling, but she had ignored it before to avoid interacting with people, she could ignore it now. But Analise was getting restless unable to just sit in bed any long by thus point she had been awake for an hour, just not bothering to get up.

Analise dragged herself out of bed and started to wander towards the dining room, not sure if she would stop to eat or not. If not she considered going to the music room, she had always wanted to learn to play something. But as she, passed Analise heard voices in the dining room. It wouldn't just be another awkward meal with her and the dreammaker this time. So she gave into her hunger and entered to join them for breakfast.

Analise kept her head down as she walked in. She forced a small smile on her face as she say as far from everyone else as she could manage. Analise didn't say anything of course, she never spoke unless spoken to. She did look forward to breakfast and half hoped that Samantha would come soon. It was the only person here she really talked to, though not even that lasted that long. Perhaps her father wasn't the only one who didn't want her around. Analise tried to avoid thinking about it though.

"I like your tattoos, they are neat looking um... do you have a name I could call you?"

"I have no name." The Dream Maker simply said. "I have never had a proper name given to me. I am usually called Mother, Dream Maker, Goddess, Angel, whatever comes to everyone's mind. As for the tattoo, I'll show you a secret." The Dream Maker tapped on it, showing that it dangled away from her skin. "It's just an earring. Sometimes it can be mistaken for a tattoo though." When Leon walked on in, Dream Maker was even more pleased than ever. Everyone was not so afraid after. "Good morning, Leon. It's nice to see you and everyone else." Dream Maker left Trevor alone, simply knowing that the way he sat away from everyone the poor lad was still trying to make sense of this place. And she knew Kyle did not trust her, so she left him alone as well. Just as long as they were both comfortable as possible, she was fine with it. "Good morning, Analise."

Ainsley hunched her shoulders as more and more people began to file in. So many people were showing up for breakfast. It wasn't anything Ainsley was entirely expecting. She thought she would be the only one here. Her eyes lit up when she saw Kyle, smiling at him when he came in and sat down right next to her. For once in her life since her head injury, she felt as if she made a friend.

"You know, I still owe you that game of pool."

"I don't think I would be good at it," Ainsley said while fiddling with the sleeves of her dress. "But I can try!" She grinned up at Kyle, just wanting to please him. Pool probably wouldn't be as bad as she thought it was.

The doors to the kitchen burst open and the smell of breakfast came in like a wave through the open door. "Ah! Hello everyone! Breakfast is served." Chef Tamsey clapped his hands and out around him came at least eight large chickens, each standing to about three feet tall and dressed in little cute aprons and hats. The chickens clucked as they walked out, each of them holding a plate of food. They served everyone who was at the table exactly what they wanted and then clucked and bawked all the way back to the kitchen as Chef Tamsey moved around with his plates and drinks to serve everyone. "If you desire anything else, I Chef Tamsey will gladly serve you whatever you want." He bowed after he served Dream Maker last and twirled back into the kitchen, disappearing with his mutant chickens.

He hadn't paid much attention to the others that came inside, and focused solely on his conversation with Ainsley.

"I don't think I would be good at it."

    She seemed more hesitant now.

    "But I can try!"

    He smiled and nodded.

"As soon as we've got our grub, I'll show you that it's not that bad."

He saw the door to the kitchen swing open and out came what appeared to be the chef... and a bunch of chickens? Kyle shuddered just a bit as they dropped everyone's plates in front of them, slinking back slightly as one of them approached him. Once they were gone, he sighed softly in relief and examined just what had been brought to him. A stack of four pancakes with butter and syrup already on them, scrambled eggs, a few sausages and some slices of thick ham. They'd also left some milk for him, and he smiled at the thought of scarfing all this down again. It had been years since he'd been treated to such a meal. He grabbed his fork and shoved it into one of the sausages, biting down and letting his taste buds sing. Even if it only lasted for a moment, he felt free from his irritability and apathy.

Xyloh felt a little dumb that she hadn't noticed it was an earring rather than a tattoo. But she let that quickly pass and thought about the name thing, "That's sad... I feel like everyone deserves a name..." Xyloh searched her head for something and then finally spoke, "...I'd call you mother but I'd make me miss my own... but, you remind me of my Aunt, her name was Rosalie... but I don't wanna call you her name directly.... Can I call you Rose?"
Right at that moment, the chef came out the their breakfast plates, and a giant chicken came out and handed her the plate and Xyloh stared with big glowing eyes, "CHICKENS!"
She jumped up and down all giddy with excitement and kept repeating, "Oh my gosh they are chickens! Giant chickens!" Xyloh stared at her plate of meat and then her face turned into a look of horror before she spoke, "They don't bring out chicken dishes do they?" She turned her head away in concern and spoke, "I can't eat chicken with them bringing it out... I'd feel terrible."

Upon seeing the kitchen doors fly open, Leon's head turned towards them to see the food that was being severed. Seeing the chickens as well was quite a surprise. It was a good thing that he didn't eat chickens for breakfast otherwise it would be weird seeing a chicken bring him one of his their own to eat.
Seeing the plate before him was just like what the chef had said, it was exactly what he wanted to eat. Strawberry Waffles. It had been awhile since he's had them so the sight of them brought a slight smile to his face. He was defiantly going to enjoy eating these.

Elton didn't understand the dream world and how it worked. He was hungry, but he shouldn't be, right? He had little experience with dreams in general, actually, so he guessed the only thing he could do was take all of these new experiences in stride.

Another thing was . . . actually sleeping. He hadn't realized it would happen when he was curled up in that oh-so comfy chair in the library. He had never had a better night experience in his life, he thought. Maybe.

Elton crept out of the library later in the morning at the lure of food and let his hunger lead him to the dining room where – joy – there were others already in there, chatting. At the head of the table, he spotted the Dream Maker and then some of the others surrounding her and actually . . . talking to her. He mutely shook his head, wondering how they were so easy to trust.

He took a seat at the far corner of the table and waited for a little while, and then the chef came out. He told them they could have anything they wanted, and Elton immediately thought of every international breakfast he had ever had because halmeoni was a really cool world traveler and was really wonderful cook.

Meekly he raised his hand for the chef to come over and muttered quietly to him about what he wanted. A little while later, he was staring at the plate of Danish foods with slightly-disbelieving eyes and vaguely wondering if the chef's cooking would be up to par.

. . . It was. Almost. He sneaked a timid peek at the boseul-achi and really wished that this whole thing wasn't being this good.

It swept in again. All the little imperfections in her head that produced all that self-doubt that existed before in her life. Kyla wasn’t sure if she wasn’t getting better after all, or maybe she was just naturally doubtful. Either way, she was exasperated to the point of exhaustion even though she had only woken up 45 minutes before sitting beside Elton while giant chickens dodged around her feet; nothing was unusual until she looked to her left to find Elton. That same moment was the same moment she swore she could feel her soul leave her dream-manifested body. ‘Get it together! Just a person.’ Kyla reassured herself before she gave off any air of actual surprise. ‘A male person. You’re getting better though, right?’ Kyla toyed with the silverware before speaking. There had to be something to say. There had to be anything to say.

“Have you met the little girl with the bear? It’s a shame she’s here, since she seems so innocent and young.” Those would have been lovely choice words, but only if she had actually said them rather than the unintelligible mess of syllables that had barely escaped her lips. The only distinguishable utterance was “And young”, but for want of a “D” in “And”; so, it came out “Anyoung”. Her fork clanged with her knife once and her unmade hair, in the shambles it was in, was tussled as she bowed her head to avoid eye contact.

    OOC:
    Pun Dictionary:

According to my sources, a form of greeting in the Korean tongue is “Annyeong”. Ergo, Kyla has unwittingly spoken a different language from her own to a person who just so happens to speak said language.

Elton had been so absorbed in his breakfast that he barely paid a thought to the giant chickens running around, ridiculous as that was. He was, however, immediately aware of a presence that sat next to him and his shoulder tensed up slightly. Why did any of these ridiculous people insist on trying to interact with him? It was either he came to them first or they didn't bother him at all.

    Annyeong . . .

His body went still as he slowly wrenched his neck to look at the girl named Kyla. His pale expression was unintelligible for a long moment before he smoothed it out to indifference. She hid her face with her hair, and rightfully so as he scrunched his nose.

If you're going to greet someone in their language, do it right. You and I are not equals and I don't know you and don't care to know you. It is annyeonghaseyo. And do you not think I can't speak English? Did you come over to test me or something? ¹Dangshin-i jukgo ship-eo, ²ship-seh-ggi? ◗ He began clutch the eating utensils in his hand, though his face showed no real hostility.

Because of a placebo effect that was rooted into his mind, the impulse to stab went uncontrolled and he drove the fork into Kyla's hand without even thinking about it. When the deed was done, he narrowed his eyes at her hand, waiting for it to bleed and then looked up at the Dream Maker. ◖ ³⁴Kkum-noona, ◗ he began, pulling an ❀ orange lily from the next to him and placing it next to the hand that may or may have not been bleeing. ◖ Your chef is a very good cook. Thank you for the meal. ◗ He tilted his head slightly { begrudgingly showing respect for the [ she's definitely! ] boseul-achi } and then motioned to Kyla's hand before actually looking at the girl. ◖ You should be more careful.

Elton left the dining room to find the music room and locked the door behind him. That will teach the girl a lesson to not talk to him like they're equals – because they were definitely not. Elton was extremely petulant now because of Kyla and stomped around the music room to see if he could find a cello.

A trail of ❀ orange lilies seemed to follow him into the room.

LEAH was late to breakfast. She had stood in the bedroom for a long time with her mind going a mile a minute. She remembered everything she was supposed to do in the morning to prepare for the day, which had her so overwhelmed that her brain just shut down. She sat on the bed just staring at the wall for awhile trying to figure out what to do first. It all felt so surreal. She never remembered the whole routine and always needed assistance at some point in time. When she managed to get herself out of the shower, she stood in the room wearing only a towel as she tried to figure out what to wear. The closet and drawers were full of clothes for all the girls to share. It took her some time to pick something that was her size and even longer for her to decide on what to wear. Leah never picked out her clothes. Usually she just wore the same plain white dresses over and over again at the hospital. They were standard and didn't involve making choices which was better for all those involved.

She wasn't sure what her style was. She had never had a style before. Finally, she had settled on a floral print skirt and a long sleeved - white blouse. Once she had the outfit on, she brushed through her hair and started to make her way down to breakfast. Everyone else was already there and the house was so complex. Even with the tour and this new memory of hers, she still managed to get lost on the way. There should be arrows on the walls or something that point to the direction of the bedrooms or signs at the corners like when you get to a crossroads. Leah licked her bottom lip and trailed her hand on the wall until she finally turned a corner and heard the distinguishable chatter of the others coming from a room.

Leah walked inside to see everyone sitting at the table eating. Her dull brown eyes met with the woman that called herself the Dream Maker and she nodded apologetically. Sorry I'm late. I'm not used to remembering how to start the day. She looked at the others, a bit embarrassed, before deciding it was best if she just took a seat. A few of them were well in discussion with one another already. She didn't want to interrupt and most every seat was full at the table. Leah looked to one end, seeing Trevor seated by himself, she decided to take the spot beside him. Leah had oddly never been afraid of him like the others -- then again, she was too absentminded to be afraid of anyone. She gave him a half smile and a nod. Guten Morgen Bee. Her parents were German and while she didn't remember most things, occasionally a phrase here and there would latch itself into the recesses over her mind. It was mostly just things like good morning and good night.

As for the 'Bee' part, Trevor's constant need to fight with people reminded her of the saying for Mike Ahli. The whole 'floating like bees and stinging like butterflies' didn't make much sense to her, but boxers, ya know? She chewed on her bottom lip until the chef came back and asked her what she would like to eat. Why did she suddenly have so many options in her life. Leah was beginning to miss the simplicity of not having to decide anything for herself. She settled on cereal to ease her mind. When the bowl was brought to her, there was a stirring at the table and she looked up to see Elton talking to Kyla. Did you come over to test me or something? Dangshin-i jukgo ship-eo, ship-seh-ggi? She didn't know what that last part meant, but it couldn't have been good if Elton's follow up was stabbing Kyla in the hand with his fork.

Her hand flew to her mouth and she snorted. Leah swallowed down a mouthful of cereal before she started giggling. Apparently not all of her old self was lost on her. She broke out into a laughing fit at the table as Elton left and the fork stuck out of Kyla's hand. Most people would be appalled by the action -- she wasn't most people. Her hands were pressed firmly to her lips to stifle her laughter, but she just couldn't keep it concealed. Her brown eyes stayed locked on the fork as she laughed harder and harder. That was - that was too good.

Samantha sleepily rubbed her eyes. She poor girl had been crying for quite a long time, upset over both the fact that she had messed up Kyla's song and the realization that she was in a strange place full of people she didn't know. The only comfort she had been able to find was in the knowledge that Mr Bear had somehow managed to come with her. She began to shift her gaze to the side of herself, looking at Mr Bear. Yes, Mr Bear, her dearest friend, had somehow gotten there with them. Mr Bear would always be-

Samantha began searching rapidly around the room she had passed out in. Mr Bear was gone. Where was he? She began walking around the room calling out his name, but of course she got no answer. Even if Mr Bear had've been around, his mouth was sewn over and so he could not speak. She found him in the hall, along with an aroma that smelled simply delicious; breakfast! Sammy started walking towards the dining area, which she remembered from the tour, but Mr Bear was one step ahead of her. His tubby little legs were practically a blur as he raced ahead of her, down the stairs, and towards the dining area. Thankfully, Samantha was quite fit for how small and cooped up she always was, so she kept up nicely. When she finally caught Mr Bear, he had stopped in front of the doors to the dining area. The smell was overpowering now.

Mr Bear pushed open the doors and, being the rude little bear he was, raced inside without hesitation. Samantha began hurrying after him, and in a few strides she had caught him once more. But what was he doing? It seemed that the small, stuffed bear was attempting to get Ainsley's attention. He was pointing from Ainsley, to the plate of food in front of her, and finally back to his stuffed stomach, over and over again. Samantha's stomach grumbled again. She hadn't eaten the night before, and she was feeling the effects of it now. Best if she sat down to feast now. She scooped up Mr Bear and took the nearest seat, to which she found was located right next to Analise.

"Oh, h-hello again Analise, how does the food taste?" Samantha asked, eager to start conversation. If her tears had taught her anything overnight, it was that she was lonely, and maybe Analise could fix that. She held Mr Bear's arm tightly so that he didn't get away from her, but he wouldn't stop squirming around and trying to free himself. She took a deep breath. Desperate times called for desperate measures. She stood up slightly and placed Mr Bear's arm on the seat, and then quickly sat down on top of it. Despite Mr Bear's determination to leave, his small amount of strength was nowhere near what he needed to move himself free from Sammy, so he gave up and let himself dangle in the air like the stuffed toy he was.

Unbelievable. She had barely had time to run through her head any of what the boy was saying before she was suddenly attacked with silverware. “Annyeonghaseyo?” She said through clenched teeth, feeling the silky texture against her hand along with the silver tongs in her flesh and the slowly trickling warm blood that peeped out of the more than minuscule tears in her skin left by the fork. The worst part was that she did not feel a thing other than the materials touching her, but she really should have been overpowered with adrenaline; nature’s pain killer. She felt no sudden spike energy, nor did she feel angry. All she could feel was the empty sensation which consumed her. Tenderly, she removed the fork from her hand and tried to move her fingers. Nothing. It was as though her own hand was another’s which she could not control. Her brain said “Move”, but her hand remained motionless. It was, to her, worse than a nightmare in its stark austerity. It was exceedingly simple: her hand wouldn’t move. Without the luxury of reason, she grabbed a napkin from the table and wrapped her hand in it. She bled, but she did not care as she dashed from out of the room and isolated herself in the piano room. The rest of the house had gone unnoticed as one and only one goal existed within the reaches of her mind. There was the rise and fall melody that was signature to “The Well-Tempered Clavier”, but what should have been harmonious on the left was utterly tuneless. She could not bend her hand to play the right notes; a useless appendage clanging at all the wrong keys without rhyme or reason. The sound was worse than its lack of tone could portray. Tears came flooding from her eyes as she continued to try and fail to complete the composition. The only perceptible sound to emanate from the silenced room remained her thick sobs as her forehead crashed into the keys with a clattering and violent clang of strings. Such a humorless sound was reiterated as she banged her useful hand, the one she could still make into a fist, into a higher octave of notes that did not go well together. There was the girl at the table who had laughed at Kyla being assaulted. ‘Why?’ She thought as she repeated her pounding of her fist twice more. There was silence. That was all she had left in her world of bestowed paralysis: silence. Her eyes, blurry with tears, could only concentrate on the single orange petal that had lodged itself in her makeshift bandage without her realizing it prior. She held her left hand close to her pacing heart, but could not feel its rhythm on her palm. The numbness that was more than emotional seeped through to the rest of her, and soon... she could feel nothing at all except the racing of her heart as her eyes fixated on that orange petal.

"You should be more careful." Echoed in her mind without cessation.

Analise looked up as the Dream maker said something to her. She didn't say much just good morning, but at least she acknowledged get, presence. That was something she never thought anyone did, in this world or the real world, although she didn't mind in the real world. "Oh, um.... Good morning." Analise responded quietly as she looked back at her hands which she was fidgeting with. She studied her left thumb nail, or what was left of it. She needed to get her nervous habits under control.

It wasn't long before they where served breakfast. Analises eyes widened as the servers came out. Giant chickens? How could this place get any more weird? The food that was set in front of her did look delicious, but the fact that it was a giant chicken somewhat turned her off. The chickens left and Analise was left staring at her breakfast. Her stomach growled once again forcing her to get over the fact it was delivered by chickens and just eat it.

Analise was picking at her food when Samantha came in following her bear and sat next to her. Analise was still really confused how the bear walked. All she could think was sometime in the four years she had been in the hospital they made robot stuffed animals. Or perhaps earlier then that, she wouldn't know what went on in the world outside of small town Red Deer. Her thoughts where brought back when Samantha began to talk to her. "Hello Samantha. The food? It tastes fine. Want some?" Analise slid her plate over to Samantha. She had only ate half her plate of food, but she was full. It wasn't that they have her lots of food, but she was used to only eating small amounts once to twice a day. Whatever it took to minimize the amount of time she spent with people. So now she was used to not eating all that much, so she didn't want to eat all that much.

Samantha stopped, somewhat surprised at Analise's offer. She barely knew her and yet she was being offered food? Her stomach growled again. She was really hungry now, but she couldn't take Analise's food. No, that belonged to her. She shook her head as she opened her mouth to speak. "Thank you, but I can't eat your food" Analise replied tenderly. The girl then planned on eating, but she realized she had not been there when the food had been served. Could she ask for more? In either case, she had something she had to do first.

Samantha began fidgeting slightly with her cutlery. She had never been good at apologizing, because that required her to speak to people, but she felt as though she had almost-completely ignored Analise before, and that wasn't right in her opinion. "Um...um...Analise..I feel like I was rude yesterday when I said hello and just left..I'm sorry.." she began. She left it at that, but did not leave at all, simply because her hunger was unbearable now. A small hand shot up extending from her as she attempted to get Dream Maker's attention. "Miss Dream Lady! Can I have some more?" Sammy questioned in her high pitched, yet adorable, little voice.

The Dream Maker smiled when Xyloh was insistant on giving her a name. It was very sweet of her to do something like that. "Rose... I'd match the names of my gardeners," she said with a laugh. "But I like it. Rose my name shall be." Soon breakfast was served to everyone thanks to Chef Tamsey and his crew of chickens. She watched as everyone seemed to be enjoying their plate of food that was brought out to them, even Elton. She was served toast with butter and blue berries and strawberries with cream. She did not touch her food just yet, for two had walked in; Kyla and Leah. "All is forgiven. Please, help yourself to breakfast."

"They don't bring out chicken dishes do they?"

Dream Maker smiled and shook her head as she grabbed a fork and a knife. "No, they don't bring out chicken dishes. Chef Tamsey does." Suddenly, the cheery atmosphere was disruptive by a string of insults from Elton, and also to add on that, a violent outburst. Dream Maker watched unflinchingly as Elton stabbed Kyla's hand with a fork. Dream Maker, or Rose, was then address by Elton by something much more respective then the night before. She observed as Elton placed an orange lily next to Kyla's injured hand. She neither smiled or frowned.

Your chef is a very good cook. Thank you for the meal.

"Thank you for joining us for breakfast..." She watched as Elton left, then Kyla as she pulled the fork out of her hand and then she too also left. Dream Maker sighed, setting down her utensils.

"Just as we were all getting along... Or at least tolerating one another."

Dream Maker saw that Samantha had come in with Mr. Bear and asked if she could have more. Her lips curled up ever so slightly before she waved her hand to the kitchen. "Chef Tamsey will be right out to serve you, dear." She then pushed away from the table and stood up. "Thank you for coming to breakfast. Enjoy your meal, children. I have some matters to attend to." And with that, Dream Maker bowed to everyone and then left the dining room.

Meanwhile, Chef Tamsey came out with the meal that Samantha and Mr. Bear had in mind and served them up before bowing and taking the abandoned plates away from the table and back into the kitchen.

Ainsley hardly touched her food after she witnessed what had just transpired. Her shoulders were stiff and rigid. That was why they were given plastic sporks in the hospital instead of fancy forks, knives, and spoons so stuff like this didn't happen. But, alas, it did happen. She looked around as the quiet hum of breakfast resumed, but then felt very uneasy. If this was a dream world, why didn't it seem nice? Why did it seem so mean?

The Dream Maker entered the piano room when Kyla was emotionally numb to the core, her eyes showing pity to the girl at the piano. "Oh dear, we can't please everyone, can we?" She came over to Kyla and sat by her on the piano bench. Her long, slender fingers gently glided across the keys without making a sound. "Quite a beautiful thing, music is." She glanced at Kyla and then at the bandaged hand. "May I see?" But instead of waiting for Kyla to hand her hand over to her, Dream Maker gently took the injured hand within her own. A soft, warm glow encircled the girl's hand, restoring it to it's former glory if not better. "There, much better, hm?" Dream Maker placed her hands in her lap and then looked at the keys. "Could you play me a lovely melody dear?"

MEANWHILE IN THE MUSIC ROOM, A CELLO APPEARED IN A GLOWING LIGHT, PROPPED UP AGAINST THE WALL.

Analise slid her plate of food back in front of her. She scratched the back of her neck wondering if it was an inappropriate offer. Of course Analise refused to ask anyone that because she figured it should be common sense for most people, but she was never taught how to behave around other. And that part couldn't entirely be blamed on her sickness but instead her father. Analise went back to picking at her food not really eating it though. "I wasn't hungry but I suppose you would rather have your own food, eh?" She wasn't really questioning because she knew the answer, but usually when Analise said Eh, it made what she was saying sound like a question.

Samantha then proceeded to apologize for the day before. "It's fine. I just figured I said something wrong. I wouldn't be hurt if you didn't want,me around though." Analise told Samantha. Analise never really felt wanted anywhere so a nine year old girl wasn't going to hurt her feelings. "It looks like you made yourself a friend after, that is good...." Analise said desperately trying to keep some sort of conversation going, not sure what else to say.
