"And don't you dare lie to us" Laurence said with spite, suddenly making his presence known as he walked up to the group of Leah, Trevor and the butler, Charles. His hand was placed on his head and he was staggering as he made his way towards the group. Some of them could have died, but he was glad that at least nobody had gotten hurt during the madness. His body was acting sluggish and he would soon be babbling nonsense soon later. He was pushing the limits, but he needed to at least do as much as he could.

His moves were already acting quite ecstatic, he had taken a foolish risk earlier and luckily managed to survive and get away. True his act of survival worked, but it was something he'd rather not risk. He had heard Leah speak about the meat from before but he could recall that meat other than Laurence loving it and it was something quite different from anything he had ever eaten.

"Where the hell was everybody...Me and Lilica were searching all around the manor and found nobody..." Laurence said cringing at the sudden migraine before glaring up at Charles. "What is this place?....why are we here? to be cured? don't give me that crap....there is more to this..." Laurence said closing his eyes. "Though...this maybe useless...for all I know you could be a pawn in all this..." Laurence said quietly with a sigh. He was paranoid and he had every reason to be. Laurence's influence was really starting to take affect and his emotions were starting to rise despite his protest.

Charles was astounded by what was coming out of everyone's lips. He was so baffled, he didn't even know what to say. He was being acussed of something he didn't do. He opened his mouth to speak-
    "That's enough."

Dream Maker was standing there in the middle of the stairway. Her eyes were serious, there was no smile to her lips. She looked at each of the children, her eyes cold and unsettling. "I will give you not straight answer because you do not deserve one." One hand was on the railing of the stairway, the other was at her side. "This world feeds on your memories, your thoughts, your fears, your desires, your everything. It will only be happy if you make it that way. If you fight it, you will find yourself in a different house. Rules were broken, and thus consequences had unfolded. Be grateful that was all you faced today. Two had stopped more madness from happening than you can imagine. You will see them no more." She let her words sink in before she continued. "How to get out of this world? That is up to you to find out. My suggestion? Stay out of trouble, obey the rules, relax, and keep your minds at ease. The more you fight it, the more insanity you will face here..."

"Is that so..." Laurence muttered closing his eyes with a small chuckle "my apologies...my emotions are running a bit to out of control here...Laurence would be crying tears of sorrow if he witnessed this" Laurence said. He was right in believing that Charles was a pawn and that the dream maker was actually the mastermind in this all...no that was wrong. The mastermind in it all was not her, but themselves. This was their dream so it was only logical that they were the cause of any nightmares that occurred.

"So this is all like a game then...one involving our lives" Laurence said silently walking forward towards the stairway and began to walk up it. Reaching where the dream maker stood, he immediately stopped in place an closed his eyes with a weak smile. "Though you didn't tell us a straight answer I do appreciate the explanation...my goddess.." Laurence said before walking up to the top floor. He wished to continue the conversation, but everything began to blur.

He returned back to the boys room and immediately fell on the bed with his eyes shut and let out a sigh. Why would the goddess do such a thing? no she was always right, the goddess was to bring them joy and happiness. Everything would be alright if they were happy right? nobody wanted to be sad so being happy surely was something that was easy. Those thought raged on before Laurence fell fast asleep.

The day had certainly been an interesting one, Leon had spent most of it downstairs looking around. Eventually he got bored and returned to the bits room, where he got into bed and slept.

Lilica decided to ignore the boy standing by the door and went into to the girls room anyway. Also, wanting to get to bed, she didn't pay any attention to the other girls that were there. Lili collapsed on her bed, exhausted. When she closed her eyes she tried to forget everything and just concentrate on getting to sleep. As the last of her thoughts faded away. She drifted off to sleep.

DAY: 5 - 5/5 MOOD: Skeptical and terrified LOCATION: First Floor ==> Boys' Room

After hearing the stern-faced Dream Maker out, one of the other guys that had come said a few things and made his way back to the sleeping quarters. A game? One that involved each and every one of their lives. That was something he didn't want to get involved with. In fact, if he knew how, he'd get the hell out of there right now. But things weren't quite that simple. Nothing of this nature ever was. He found it terrifying that in a situation like this, where his life was completely at risk, there was no clear way out. Obeying and abiding by the rules of this place would increase their chances at survival, yes, but that wouldn't increase the chance of leaving. To think that dealing with something as intangible as a dream would be such a pain in the ass. It was unbelievable.

As he started to think more and more about it, he began to wonder if that damned pill had anything to do with this. Was the nightmarish apparition that appeared before them a side-effect of the drug? It was a possibility. Thinking about it now, he realized that they next to nothing about that drug they took other than it was supposed to help all of their disorders. The group that was there in the dream was never informed about what went into the making of it. Now that he thought about it, he had been drugged prior to being given that pill. That shot that essentially turned him into a zombie. Was that a possible cause of the death-hug girl's appearance? It didn't seem likely since the others had seen it as well. Still, he couldn't shut out any possible cause until proven wrong.

With the chaotic vortex of thoughts raging within his mind, he made his way back to the boys room. This wasn't good. Now that the possibility of the nightmare woman showing up at any given time has been made apparent, resting easy will be close to impossible. Especially since that crazy thing ran up to him and tried to get him in its death grip. There was no way he wouldn't be able to get that out of his mind now. If that was a one-time deal, then that was all well and good. No harm, no foul. However, if that wasn't an isolated incident, which seemed more than likely, everyone would have to watch their backs. He just hoped and prayed that it wouldn't have to get to the point of them playing deadly games of hide and seek. Death was something he wanted to evade, by any means necessary.

He sat in his bed, still contemplating the possibilities. There were a large number of them that he could come up with, thanks to his hobby of reading books. In hind sight, perhaps reading that Nightmare Fiction book wasn't such a bad idea now. It presented a few ideas to him of possible events to come and that meant he'd be able to come up with a plan should something similar happen. Perhaps going over the book one more time the next day would let him come up with more ideas. And hopefully, there would be a second volume for even more ideas. Being prepared would increase his chances of survival, however slim they are.

With a ray of hope in his mind, and terror still lurking in his heart, he lay his head down on his pillow and went to sleep.

Samantha hopped up onto the bed beside Analise. The girl was nice to her, Samantha liked that. Very few people were nice to her, most picked on her because of her immaturity. She sniffled a little, but the sobbing had almost completely stopped now. "Well..we heard singing, I didn't know where it was coming from, and Mr Bear said he didn't know either. Then the singing got worse, they started singing about eating children, and then a voice told me to run. It wasn't like the voices I used to hear though, this one sounded realer than the others. And then I hid in the wardrobe, but it didn't lead to Narnia like I hoped it would. And then I hid in there, until I heard you, then I came out" Samantha explained.

She let out a yawn. She hadn't fully woken up yet, maybe there was a chance she could go back to sleep. The stressful situation had certainly caused her enough mental exhaustion to make it likely. Sammy's little eyes looked up slightly as she heard a rap on the door. The person there was of course Basil, but Samantha had never met him. Either way, the little girl was far too upset to want to speak to most people at the time. She tugged a little on Analise's sleeve. "Analise, can you see what he wants? I don't wanna talk to people except for you right now" she requested. The young girl then curled up in a little ball, much in the same position a dog would be in, and pulled her stuffed bear close to her. She closed her eyes slowly, and whispered "Goodnight Analise" before drifting off into slumber.

Analise held Samantha close as she told her about everything that happened. "Well I am glad that you hid and where safe. If you don't know what to do it is best to get out of there than just stay and wait to see what happens. I am glad you hid." Analise told her. She didn't know what else to tell the young girl. She was no cop and she couldn't do anything about it. But she wanted the girl to feel better. It was all she could do.

Analise then heard a knock at the door and Sammy ask her to check it. "Of course." She said with a slight smile. Analise opened the door to see Basil. "Oh Basil hi! Um right now isn't a good time..." She said as she looked back at Samantha who was now climbing into her own bed. "But before you go." Analise ran back to her bed and grabbed her sketch book ripping out the picture of the cat. She ran back and handed it to him. "I drew this for you. It is your cat." She said as she put her hands behind her back and swayed. "Anyways we will hang out tomorrow. Sammy had a rough day." Analise explained before climbing into her bed. "Goodnight Sammy."
