Marie shrugged, "All my life I guess, I don't remember much." She looked at the paintings and pictures on as she walked in the oppisite direction of the others. "And I don't have a reason to why I'm here. I like it in Wonderland..." she continued, small taps were heard from when the heal of her boots touched the floor.

OoC: Im not good at shoes, so if those arnt boots in her pic Im sorry o.o;

 

"My parents left me when I was young and Mad Hatter brought me to Wonderland and I haven't regretted it yet." James said, sadly. "But...that was a long time ago. It doesn't affect me anymore!" He turned away, thinking of a memory of his parents.

 

Marie stayed silent for a moment, not even knowing what her parents looked like. "Well at least you like it here." she said and smiled. She believed that something like that would effect them throughout life though.

 

He turned back to her. "Thanks!" James said, smiling. "Well, I think we should go. Those two people are just standing there and talking, it's getting kinda weird..." He whispered to Marie. "What do you think we should do?"

 

"You're right, it is weird." Marie said as she walked to the staircase. "I'm not sure what we should do. Do you have an ideas?" she asked, as she sat on the railing of the staircase. She let herself slide down the railing, then got off once she made it to the bottom. She waited for James there.

 

James jumped down the stairs until he reached the bottom. "Let's go." He suggested. "Maybe Mad Hatter needs some help?" He said as they walked down the hallway full of odd but enjoyable portraits.

 

Marie nodded and followed him. She looked at the portraits once again as they walked through the hall. She wasn't sure if the mad hatter needed help, but she wondered how he was doing.

James dashed out the door and toward the tea party area to see everything was under control. "Aw man! Now I have nothing to do...again!!" He said,as he sighed.

 

OoC: Sure and thx xD I wish more ppl would join ^^;

BiC: Marie walked out and went after him. She walked over to the tea party area he went to and noticed everything was okay. "You'd think something would happen here...or somewhere." She said, wondering if anything else was going on in Wonderland.

"Yeah..." He sat down, bored already. He gave out a yawn then a frown. "So bored...and tired..." He mumbled. "I wish I could break this habit and think something else is fun other than helping Mad Hatter." He said.

 

"Then why don't you?" Marie asked. She went to sit in a different chair, and crossed her legs. She was bored, but it could be worse. "And if you're tired why don't you sleep or something?" she continued.

 

"I don't know how to break habits becuase this is my only habit!" James said, frustrated. "Can you help?" He asked, wondering to himself thoughts of his parents.

 

"I'll try..." Marie said, wondering what he was thinking about. "But I don't know where to start." she continued as she looked the various tea cups and things on the table out of boredom. She didn't know how'd she help him though.

 

"How about we...have...r-races?" James said. It was hard for him becuase he's never suggested anything that's fun to him. "Is that alright with you, Marie?" He asked, tilting his head slightly to creep her out.

 

James failed at creeping Marie out, and she actually thought it was kind of cute/funny. "Sure, what ever floats your boat." she said, even though she wasn't the racing type, it would be fine with her for now. She took off her hat for a moment and moved her ears to the top of her head, then put the hat back on so her ears would be hidden. Now she pratically looked completely human, except for her tail, but she couldn't hide that at the moment.

 

"Let's start on mark." James said. "The starting line is from this tree to that one. The finish line is..." James put his hand above his eyes so he could see father. "The finish line is from that sign to that sign." James said, pointing to them. He made a line in the grass wiht his foot and stood on it. "The rules are, you have to run there and back." James said. He got in his ready position on the line. "You ready?" He asked.

 

"Mhmm..." Marie said stepping out of her shoes. She couldn't run in heels and prefered if she didn't break an ankle. She went to the line and got into posistion, ready to go.

 

"Ready, set, GO!" James exclaimed as he started to run. The wind felt great on his hair and face especially because it was hot. He was in the lead and hoped for it to stay that way.

 

Marie began running towards the two signs he had pointed out before. She began catching up to him, but wasn't she if she could pass him. She pulled her hat down, making sure it wouldn't fall as she continued running.

 

James sprinted to the signs. 'Almost there!' He thought. He passed through the signs he had pointed out. He put his hands on his knees as he waited for Marie to pass through. As she passed through, he said, "Looks like I win!" He said with a smile, looking at her.
