They'd be accompanying him? What did that mean? Ben shook the thought off. For that to even matter, he would have to survive the rest of the trials. He stuffed the card into his pants pocket and proceeded through the temple, entering another room. He looked around his feet. The entire room was covered in, well, trash. "This definitely isn't just any ancient temple..." he muttered.​

He looked around at the junk surrounding him. Only a few things stood out to him. He picked up one of the items. He didn't know how long he would be stuck in this temple. Perhaps it would come in handy later.​

[/url]Heidi stood and grabbed the package with one hand, keeping it from falling. Her back was pressed against Altair's chest, and it suddenly felt very very hot. Harley opened his mouth to speak, what a pretty mouth he had. "I thought it would be nice if we could spend the day together," he began, completely disregarding Altair's presence, "Since Christmas is tomorrow and I haven't exactly been shopping yet." She had been hoping to ask Harley to go with her. Then she could ask him for help on what to get Altair. On second thought.... that seemed to be a bad idea... His face turned thoughtful and he laughed, "Not that I have many people to buy gifts for." Neither did she. Altair, the old man, Casey (he could use some hair dye), Harley, and Anth-- no. She wanted to get him something, but it made no difference now.

She remained quiet, still thinking about Anthony. He had gotten bitten by one of the snakes. She almost got attacked by one. No one was there to protect him. She said she would help him. Her face fell. "So, what would you like to do?" Heidi lifted her head, returning her attention to Harley. He wanted her to go with him. That wouldn't be so bad, would it? It could be fun, lift her spirits, but she didn't want to just ditch Altair either. She furrowed her brow, having remained quiet for too long.

"Um...y-yeah. Shopping." She had never really gone shopping before and the idea of going by herself was terrifying. Heidi turned around to face Altair, their bodies close together. Her cheeks burned. "I-I'm going to go with Harley, o-okay? Th-thanks for coming down." She gave him a quick awkward hug before sliding out from between him and the table to make her escape.

Ha, that was a fun reply.

"I wasn't trying to be motivational. Besides, there's enough people out there who will lie to you in hopes it will make you feel better. After all that isn't it nice to just get a sugar coat free, honest comment?"

Sigh. Was this a- Wait, this name... It was an uncommon name so how many people out there could be called Bronagh? So this was most likely the one from the email's list, especially considering her ties with the crash. That to happen right after the snakes, and with Quin in it?

There was always a chance she was assuming wrong though, of course. So let's be subtle to start.

"I'm Elizabeth. Just came by because I thought new faces of this game could be here and would be willing to talk. And with so little time left I may as well, right?"

xxxxxThe next room was terribly loud. Ugh. Cherno could barely hear himself think. Around him was a chorus of people dressed in black and white, yelling "All hail Crestatia!"

Except for one.
One was someone in colour, saying something else, drowned out by everything.
Cherno went up to this person and did a thing.

 

When Allison got up that morning, she found that this time, she was alone and Elizabeth had left her instead of the other way around. Huh...guess it's just me again. She thought plagued by the ever-present loneliness. It was a shame because she had thought she had made progress in being Elizabeth's friend, but apparently she wasn't really there yet. Allison sighed and got dressed for the day, wondering why she was always so alone and lonely. Harley was always busy doing something or spending time with someone else and she couldn't always be so clingy to him, and Heidi, she hadn't seen Heidi in person since the hot springs. Anthony, well they had just met, and he also seemed to know Harley too. Harley knew everyone and everything and she knew no one and nothing. How the fudge does he know so much anyway? Guy's got like a database full of people. She had to make new friends and get their numbers. She could probably get Heidi's phone number from Harley, but she wondered about Anthony. He seemed like a really cool kid and it didn't feel right that he was in this situation. Still, even if we're all going to die, I'd rather have a good time til then. But how could she get in contact with him? Or anyone for that matter? There had been that one guy she had mistaken for Harley, but she never heard back from him after she messaged him a second time. He seemed really into science, which was pretty cool, but she wasn't that great with the sciences. Preferred them over English and writing, but still. She hadn't really been using tumblr much. Maybe it was time to search and find people. She had managed to find Anthony's tumblr at least.

Ben proceeded to the next room, and was greeted by a loud clamor. He couldn't even stand the noise without putting his hands over his ears. 'All Hail Crestatia'? Is she that vain? Everything seemed to be in black and white. Had he suddenly lost his color perception? No, it was just their clothing. Straining his eyes, he could see a dot of color in the sea of monochrome. He pushed his way through the crowded toward the single spot of color.​

​

It brought Ben to a person. He couldn't tell what they were saying, but it wasn't the mindless chanting of the others. Perhaps he could help him find his way through the the temple. He'd have to figure a way to get his attention, though. "Why aren't you shouting with the others?" he asked, straining to raise his voice loud enough for the person to hear.​

Bronagh bit her lip, she hadn't really had people sugar coating anything, but it's not like she would know that. But she was right, it was honest.​

Oh god no, she is in the game too? Wonderful, I just got my mind off the damn thing.​

Bronagh shifted in her chair a bit and spoke, "It's nice to meet you Elizabeth... what's going on at the school?"​

[/url]Marina walked into the next room. She blinked her eyes a few time in confusion. It was like she had gone color blind. The room was a black and white monochromatic world. It was filled with screaming shouting people chanting the words "All Hail Crestatia!" She had to cover her ears. It hurt. The chanting was so overwhelmingly loud. A sliver of light caught her attention. There was one-- one person that was still in color. It was a no-brainer as to her next destination, that person. What were they saying? She tread lightly across the room and to the figure. "Excuse me!" she shouted through the noise. "You are here to help right?" Okay. Time to think. Take a moment and think.

The shouting, it was so damn distracting. "How do I get out of here? AND, what do I need to do to pass the rest of these trials?"

This one was rather down, wasn't she? It was no surprise given how injured she looked, plus who knew what else happened to her up until now. Still, what a bore.

At least she wasn't like 'what game?' which made her believe this was, in fact, another part of all this. It was something at least, making this not a total waste.

"The snake situation seemed to have calmed down but might still be some loose. Other than that it's really quiet."

A newcomer had arrived and it had seemed Heidi knew this person quite well. Having let go of the girl's eyes, Altair glanced up at the teen named Harley. After hearing bunches of stuff from Heidi about this guy, Altair finally came face to face with the guy. He felt something suspicious about about this person but he really didn't care. From all the kind things Heidi has said about him he really couldn't hate him. Despite his lack of hate he couldn't necessarily say he liked the guy and so he was merely neutral to the guy. He remained silent for the remainder of the conversation and merely crossed his arms as he listened.

Heidi seemed to be upset but at the same time that sadness seemed to have slowly faded away with the arrival of Harley. This really brought relief to the teen and with it he merely closed his eyes with a sigh. His presence here was not necessary now and since Heidi was okay then he didn't mind leaving. He really didn't have plans but he figured Heidi would like to be with Harley and without him. Before he could leave Heidi's voice was suddenly addressed to him "Yeah you go hand have fun" Altair said with a smile as he he pat her head upon the hug. Before he knew it the girl had already left and Altair was left there. With that over, Altair began to walk out of the dining hall and let out a sigh as he walked on "maybe its best if Heidi sticks with that Harley guy instead of me...I've already made the girl cry so I'd be best" Altair said softly to himself as he walked out and glanced up at the cold sky. Before he knew it he suddenly felt a vibration that came from his phone and checked it out "A message?" Altair muttered

 

Cherno fell into the next room.
There was the door, right there, but --
A crying child? And-- oh, oh god, a tiger approaching them.
Right. Be quick. You had your bag of candy from the junk area. Cherno tapped his feet to get the attention of the tiger. He waved the bag of candy around and threw it off to the side, far, far away from the child, for the tiger, but not too far so the tiger could get to it. The tiger looked in the direction of the candy. Quickly now. Cherno untied the crying child, picked them up, and ran towards the door with them.

If he would die here, at least he would try to do so attempting to save another life.

Bronagh was quiet before she chuckled sadly and said, "I'm going to be totally honest with you. I really wish I never got on that helicopter. I got stuck in the hype of the moment. I really feel like I could have been fine just staying there and dealing with it. Snakes are snakes, they want something to eat? I'll go fetch it a mouse, but I want nothing to do with it."​

Bronagh was quiet again before replying, "I'm sorry, I did not mean to go into a tangent... hmmm." Bronagh wanted to change the conversation to something a little more light-hearted​

"You doing anything exciting for Christmas tomorrow? " Bronagh wheeled her chair around a little bit then stopped again, "After all it's the." she put her hands up and made air quotes around what she said, ""Most wonderful time of the year""​

You know Bronagh, you had a great topic. You could have had a happy conversation, but you just had to go all Captain Sarcastic at the end didn't you.​

 

[/url]Marina fell through the floor, into a room. Things were not going well so far. She stood shakily, noticing three things. The small boy tied to the wall, the tiger-like creature advancing on it, and the door to the side. She thought of the room filled with junk. This is where something from there would come in handy, too bad she did not take anything. It had seemed to taboo. Too many movies where taking a item caused some sort of booby trap. She had her slippers, and her dress, with the slip dress underneath. It probably would not be the ideal way to continue the trial, but at least she would get the damn thing off her.

Quickly Marina unzipped the back and stepped out of it. Leaving herself in the thin-layered silk undergown and kicked her slippers off. "Hey!" She shouted at the tiger-like thing and threw the slippers at its head. Then once it turned its attention on her, she tossed the dress over it to blind it and ran for the still tied up boy. There was not time to untie him immediately, so she scooped him in her arms and ran barefoot towards the door.

A door opened at the edge of the room. Ben hurried through it, glad to be away from the loud noise. Not that what he found was any better. A child was tied to the wall, and what appeared to be a tiger was slowly moving toward them. The door to the next room was directly to his right. Ben gulped. The man in the last room said to stand out, right? He couldn't just leave the child to their death.​

Ben tore open the bag of candies, popping one of them into his mouth. Sacrifices had to be made if he wanted to stay alive. He threw a candy toward the corner near the child. The beast turned its head toward the noise. It walked toward the candy, licking it up. Ben repeated this, each time moving closer to the child, until he threw the last candy out through the door he came through.​

Once the tiger had gone out of the room, Ben untied the child from the wall and made his way to the next room.​

[/url]Marina set the boy down and untied him once they were to safety. They made their way down a long bath? and eventually approached two bridges. The boy had been holding her hand the whole way and was nervous. He suggested to take the bridge on the right, while through the fog, she could see a figure in purple at the end of the bridge on the left.

After a moment of internal debate, she decided upon the bridge on the xxx and drags him along.

 

Cherno continued to move on, grasping the hand of the young boy. Moving past baths, the two eventually came across two bridges - one leading to the left and one to the right. Cherno did a thing.
