xxxxxxxxxx It was abnormal, but Kallisti had become used to the body that she was in now, and she acknowledge the fact that there was a baby on the way. How careless of her, she hadn't remembered it in that single moment of heat, of panic.

She hadn't the slightest of how it was done, but she managed to have the helicopter land on the street - no cars hit them - and it had landed on its tail. Just before that, though, a body had wrapped around her tightly and she temporarily blacked out. When she had come to, they were on the ground, and the body was gone. She looked around and then took stock of herself.

Her hands were scrapped up, there were a few glass cuts on her face, this awful pain in her stomach - oh, god, the baby! She placed her hands over her stomach; how did you check if your baby was okay? Tears began to well up in her eyes - what would Cristina say, think? She had let her baby die! No, no, no, maybe it hadn't died yet . . . She seemed to have bitten her tongue and she spit some blood out.

Trying to get a grip on reality, Kallisti pried herself from the seat, she was a bit sweaty, her body was shaking magnanimously, and she took stock of every one of the passengers. She couldn't tell if they were alright or not . . . But Cristina - there were various cuts on Kallisti's body, and it seemed that she had a rather bad gash on her arm. Still shaking, she limped over to her body, tears still coming down her face, and with her weak muscles, she wrapped her own, larger body around herself and looked around weakly for an opening in the helicopter.

There were small flames about, there was no doubt that it would blow up soon, and Kallisti needed to help everyone get out, but she was only one small little girl, how was she to do it?

A pretty girl and that boy with the green eyes were laying out on the cement, next to a building, a good measure away from the crash, and they didn't seem to be moving. She dragged Cristina over there, leaving as little damage as she could to both of their bodies. When the deed was done, she set down Cristina next to the boy and girl and patted around herself for the speaking device. Ah, there it was. She pulled it and found that the screen was cracked, and she quickly typed something it to check it's maximum damage.

" You are alive. " it said to Kallisti, and she nodded to it, hysterics building up. " You are alive. " she had it say again. " Breathe. You are alive. " She found comfort in this mechanical voice.

She looked, more like glared, at the pretty girl and then fiercely typed something else into the device " NEXT TIME, I'M DEALING WITH THE FUCKING SNAKES. " it seemed to yell at her, feeling Kallisti's raging emotion, " AND YOU, " it said to the boy, " THANKS FOR THE HELP. "

. . . Now that it was done, she needed to help the others, but her legs were a little damaged, and her knees were going to give out on her - no, she had to do this! The faint sound of sirens was nearing and she would be glad for a little help.

She was slightly resentful of Olivia, but did not hate her, and so next on her saving list was - " HELP! HELP ME! " Oh, dear god, what was that? She looked around the scene of the crash, the ambulances and other officials pulling up. There it was, a girl with purple hair, trapped under a piece of the helicopter. Forgetting her total exhaustion, Kallisti ran over to her and inspected the situation. This was a rather big piece. It curved up at the end, and -

Suddenly she was swept off her feet and carried off, to a paramedic, they were here! Silently, she began to cry hysterically.

Olivia ran out of the helicopter or something because his puppeteer was confused and tired od how annoyng it was to type RP posts on a tablet.

What was that sound?
Oh no it was a Bellhurst student! Olivia tried running off to save the cry of the trapped student but her limping legs gave way and she sort of crashed to the floor whoops. She got up and saw that a few paramedics were on their way to save them HURRAY.

She directed a few paramedics towards the injured people in the helicopter than slowly walked off to a grove of trees away from the riff raff disaster scene to work on the next part of her plot. She would be okay. Maybe.

Olivia made a mental note to apoligize more to Miss Lein forvthisvdisaster and how she was on the run later. She could not let the police see her of course.

Or her body. Bah. Was Ben okay?

She sent a quick text message.
"If you can walk, get to the Burnt Mansion on Bacchus Road. Meet me there. Do not let the police see you.
-- Olivia"

She frowned slightly and disappeared into the grove. To the others, it would be as if her body was missing.

Cherno was like aw heeell no. He snapped his fangers in Eleanora's face or something and said that he knew they were Ugly Uganda Wine Snakes or something. Probably drunk. He was so bad with names.

He clasped his soft, gentle hands on his body's shoulders and told Eleanora, with the voice of a dulled feather softly floating to a bundle of warm bored kittens on a five hundred count thread duvet, that they should be careful and escort each other out of here. First things first. Get that damn wand. Cherno held Eleanora by her bony pale hand and they whisked off to the girls' Ashvale dorm for an ADVEEEEEEENTURE until Ashwin could post properly later tonight

Marcus considered Altair's words. And disected and explored as many possiblities as his mind could think about. They were in a snake infested town. Sounds like a bunch of them were literally roaming the campus, if you could judge by the screams coming from outside. Sure, some sounded a bit dramatic, but a sighting is a sighting. He rubbed his chin in thought. Hmm. Snakes are dumber then humans, they aren't going to go about stalking and hunting prey. They will feel that this room is cold, too cold to be of any use for them. So they will nose in, and nose the hell out. Right? All Altair, Heidi and he had to do was hold out. But would that be better then trying to escape and heading towards some kind of safety shelter made by the government. He was still a bit paranoid, though he had more faith in making the room freezing idea then anything else. All they had to do was watch and wait. Marcus swallowed hard as he nodded to reassure himself. Yep, nearly full proof. Hahahahaha. He hated snakes.

He would need something warmer then this shirt, he'd not dressed for the weather since he thought he could slip on one of Altair's jackets, and because dressing was still a bit of a pain what with the bruises still marking his burrowed body. He sighed enviously at his own. Soon, my precious bod. Soon. Right now it was survival time! He searched about Altair's closet without asking, afterall his idea was to make the room too cold. So how was he, a warm blooded human going to keep warm other wise. Still, Marcus was freaked out and watchfull as he didn't even bother fully entering the closet, he simply grabbed at a few shirts, snagged three and huddled them to his chest before leaping onto one of the beds. "Second shirt, anyone?"

Despite her panicking she managed to take in the situation at hand with all the the sights and sounds. All of the cars that had stopped had people's faces staring it total disbelief at the sight. A couple people were out of their cars, some calling the cops(not that they really needed to at this point).
Bronagh tried to ignore the pain and get herself out from under the metal but couldn't do it on her own. At one point paramedics got to the scene and tried to get her out. It took 4 paramedics and a couple of volunteers from the cars to get it off her RIGHT leg.
Oh my god I cannot take this!

After a couple more people joined in they got it off her left leg and put her onto a stretcher immediately. Bronagh started to feel the pain in her upper legs and held in all the screams she wanted to shout at that moment.
"Is there anyone still in the helicopter?!"

Ben pulled himself out of the helicopter. He pulled himself up onto his feet, but a jolt of pain in one his legs. He must have twisted his ankle in the crash - or worse. He saw paramedics one of the girls, the one who was with Marina, onto a stretcher. He quickly rushed out of sight of the paramedics, hoping that the uneven clacking of his shoes wouldn't alert them. A trip to the hospital was the last thing he needed right now.
Once he had made sure none could see him, he pulled up the long sleeves of his sweater and saw that his arms were battered and bruised. An especially ugly one had formed on his left arm. He hoped Olivia wasn't left-handed. The stockings he wore were ripped all along, showing bleeding gashes, and one of his ankles seemed badly swollen. He felt a vibration and checked Olivia's phone. Burnt Mansion... Bacchus Road... Got it. The last sentence echoed in his mind. Do not let the police see you.
He climbed up a hill off the side of the road, wincing each time the injured leg landed a step. He searched the grass for a fallen branch, something to use as a makeshift crutch. When he found one he could use, he hobbled off away from the site of the crash. He hoped the girl on the stretcher would be alright. Had everyone else made their escape from the wreckage? He hadn't checked, too focused on preserving himself, and more importantly, Olivia's body.

xxxxx"ITS BECAUSE OF FATE" Casey shouted and Heidi jumped slightly. She hadn't anticipated him getting so worked up over it. He started crying and pulling at his long pretty pink hair and she was a little envious. She had never been able to grow her hair out past her shoulders before. "Lack of reaching puberty is one of the reasons....but all my sorrows....ALL OF IT I-IS BECAUSE OF THAT ******* ALTAIR" Now he sounded angry. What did Altair have to do with it? "TH-THE FRIGGIN ******* USED PERMANENT HAIR COLOURING ON ME AND TURNED MY HAIR PINK"

xxxxxOoooh... Her mouth seemed to mimick the oh shape as clarity dawned on her, but it still didn't make that much sense. "I thought permanent hair dye fades away after awhile. Like a couple months or so...Why is your's still pink? Have you tried dying it blond again, or a different color?" The hissing grew louder and she could feel her arm hairs standing on ends as goosebumps consumed her body. It was getting closer. "C-Casey... maybe we shouldn't yell." Her eyes darted in every which was as they stood out in the elements exposed and alone. You would think it too be safe, given how cold it was, but maybe not. "L-let's keep walking." She grabbed at his arm, dragging him along in the direction of the boy's dorm. They needed to move quickly. Hopefully Altair and Marcus were still in Altair's room, along with Zoey. They had to have figured out by now that they had returned to normal.

xxxxx"Why do you keep it so long?" she asked quietly as they walked more briskly. Keeping conversation would help take her mind off of the impending doom. It would also make the freezing commute from the dorm to dorm feel shorter.

xxxxxTheodore was relatively okay, and to that she breathed a sigh of relief. She took just a moment to relax her tense muscles when the girl she saved on the helicopter approached them another. The girl glared and spoke with a mechanical voice, rather rude and offensively too. "NEXT TIME, I'M DEALING WITH THE FUCKING SNAKES AND YOU," she turned to look at Theodore, "THANKS FOR THE HELP." It was sarcasm. Thogh the machine could not portray it accurately, the tone was evident on her face. Marina wanted to protest in anger that if it was not for her, she would have gone right out the open window. Not too mention, nobody forced her to come with. She chose to get on the helicopter. Women. She rolled her eyes and looked back at Theodore, his were still closed.

xxxxx"Theodore, open your eyes. You have to stay awake hon. If you fall asleep with a concussion and head wound, you may not wake back up." She slid him closer to her, resting a hand lightly on his cheek. "Wake up." Her head was spinning. She no doubt had one too. The helmet had slammed hard into the wall upon impact. Marina felt woozy, her arm went limp, and a ringing grew in her ears. All other sounds soon began to fade out as they were enveloped by the ringing. Her free hand tapped lightly against her ear and she could feel her head beginning to dip. "Stay awake," she repeated-- this time to herself. Her voice was softer now, but a whisper in the wind. There were sirens and shouting, but the ringing tuned that out.

xxxxxWith blurry eyes, she watched as rescue workers pulled the last passenger out of the wreckage, a blond girl--dressed like she was ready for a rock concert--, that had been on the roof with Olivia. Did the white haired maiden know her, or was it a chance encounter? A fatal chance encounter... As the police began to rope off the street, a BOOM startled her. Eyes open once more, she watched as the helicopter was now engulfed in flames. She rested her cheek against Theodore's dark hair, holding him closely on the curb. The dark haired girl from the pizza party rested beside her and Marina dripped blood down on her cheek as she stroked it with her free hand. This was her fault. Everyone was badly injured because of her.

xxxxxParamedics surrounded them and she felt herself being ripped away from Theodore and onto a stretcher. She did not want to leave him, but they would not have it any other way. Her eyes opened and closed as she nodded in and out of consciousness. They cut the sleeve of her jacket (oh her poor jacket!) to get better access to her arm and began cutting away at her most favorite of dresses to examine for any further damage. Had she not been on anesthetics, there would have been a most serious protest. Lights shined brightly in her eyes before the world finally went black.

"OWWWWWW" Matt shouted, his entire body was on fire all of a sudden. Though looking down he realised it was his own body, not Casey's. That was a relief but holy damn, what had happened to his body? He could barely move, every single muscle seemed to ache. What had Casey done with his body? At least he'd taken care of their body but clearly that couldn't be said for how Casey had treated his body. He hadn't minded the body swap, it had been an interesting experience though it felt good to be back in his own body but Casey really had some answering to do.

He'd never even got to answer Zoey, she'd actually opened up to him for once. She'd lowered her guard but before he could even say a single word, he was back here in his own room with his actual body in extreme pain. That was so so typical. Still there was nothing he could do. He couldn't really do anything at all even if he wanted to, Casey had made sure of that. So any plans to see Zoey to continue what had just happened couldn't happen. He was trapped, effectively, but this time in his own body.

NEXT TIME, I'M DEALING WITH THE FUCKING SNAKES. AND YOU,THANKS FOR THE HELP.

What kind of insensitive bitch throws (mechanical) sarcasm into the face of someone who could very well be dying? He could empathize with her frustration, a bit, but what the fuck was he meant to do? He didn't know how to fly a fucking helicopter...Did she expect him to move to the front, act like he was hot shit and crash the damn thing into the ocean? Yes, next time he would keep that in mind. Be impulsive, Theodore, be macho and over-confident and kill everyone. At least you'll look like you tried to be a hero before death. What great fucking traits. This is why he hated most of his peers. Immature, selfish idiots. And to think, he was going to thank her. For what, even? Grabbing the stick and crashing them into an intersection?

No, but he did need to seriously thank Marina when he got the chance. She was still warm, which was both a great sign, and a comfort to him. As soon as she was pulled away, he grimaced and the worst of the pain seemed to kick in. He groaned again as aches pulsed up and down his spine and leg and he was hoisted up onto a stretcher. He closed his eyes.

[]

When he opened them again, he was in a near blindingly white room. As his vision adjusted and his senses returned, he noticed that there was a brace around his neck and his leg was pulled up into a cast. It became quickly apparent to him that he was in a hospital room and that he was most definitely injured. Unfortunate. How long would he have to stay here? Was he alone in this room?

He tried to move his head but it wasn't working for him. Instead, he used his peripheral vision and caught sight of two curtains on either side of him, potentially blocking his view of others. He tried to wiggle and see if he felt his cell phone in his pocket, but that wasn't working, either. He needed to call his father now.

xxxxx"OW!" Marina whined. Her brother's cold hands prodded her gowned body as she lay in the uncomfortable bed. Her arm was stitched and bandaged, resting on her cheset in a sling. The other had an I.V. stuck in her hand. There were deep bruises all over her body, along with a series of cuts. There was a bump on her head the size of a bouncy ball and bandages on her feet. Apparently she had lost her shoes in the crash without realizing and dragged Theodore to safety barefoot. The adrenaline had been pumping too quickly for her to realize that she was stepping on freezing asphalt, rubble, and broken glass.

xxxxx"Marina stay still."

xxxxx"But it huuuurts." Her voice was small and child-like. She batted her blue eyes up at Nathan with a pouty face. "They already took care of me. What are you even doing here?"

xxxxxHe scowled at her and examined the x-rays carefully. "You think I'm just going to sit around while my baby sister is in Post-OP? They wouldn't let me help you, but I did work on the girl that had her legs crushed. She'll be all right by the way. Just months of intensive physical theraphy to recover."

xxxxxShe almost laughed at that. Months. They only had a little over two. "You are just a surgical intern. Did they even let you pick up a knife?" He glared at her further. Nathan was clearly more upset over the situation then he let on. He knit his brows together tightly before returning the x-ray to the envelope that it came in.

xxxxx"I did, if you must know. That's not the point. You're lucky. You know that? That crash could have killed you. It's a miracle really."

xxxxxShe doubted that one. "Where are mom and dad?"

xxxxx"Dad is in a heated debate with the security detail. The chopper is pretty destroyed after the explosion, but the security team and the crime unit have deduced that there is no reason it should have gone down. Everything appeared to be in working condition."

xxxxxWhat a shocker.

xxxxx"They think it's sabatoge of some sort." He watched her carefully as she processed the information. "Mom, she's down in the billing office. Apparently they want to pay the medical expenses for everyone injured. They feel horrible about it."

xxxxxOf course. Business first. They could not be here to greet their daughter after she woke up. Their appearance was what mattered first and formost. She looked away from her brother, absorbing the sights of the room. It was small, divided into thirds by curtains. Who else was here? Who was listening to their conversation? Not that it was really that important of one, but it felt a little intrusive. "Nathan, thank you for coming. I appreciate it, truly, but will you leave now? I would like to rest." It was only a half truth. She mostly just wanted him gone. Their relationship had become so strained over the last few years. He nodded and gave her a light kiss on the forehead before turning to leave.

xxxxxOnce out of the room, she sighed. Her chest hurt from the action. There must have been bruising there as well. She looked at her arm in the sling and frowned. My beautiful body. Tarnished, forever more. It was a sad day. One that began with snakes and ended with a trip to the hospital. That sounded awfully familiar, but under slightly different circumstances.

xxxxxxxxxx She hadn't know it, but she blacked out in the arms of the paramedic that had carried her away. All the stress of what happened finally knocked her out.

When she woke up, she was in a hospital bed, hooked to machines and such and almost began to panic. No, things were fine, there was no need to panic. What of the others, where they okay? Her head was throbbing majorly, but she was able to hear the quite speak of a few doctors in her room, talking about her condition and that of the baby inside her.

The baby!

Upon the thought, she was on the brink of thrashing around, but the doctors' good timing stopped her, " How are you feeling? " he asked, and she blinked at him wearily. trying to move her IV'd arm to her throat. She made a cutting motion across her neck and hoped that the doctors would get the message, " You can't speak? " he asked, and she nodded too vigorously, making all sorts of creaks and moans sound in her body.

" I wouldn't move too much. " the other doctor said, " We're here to tell you about the condition of your body. "

She perked up at hearing his words and it was easy to tell that her heart had sped up because of the heart monitor's beeping. How was the baby? Was it okay? Oh, Cristina would surely hate her if anything happened to it. She could feel the familiar sting of tears welling up in her eyes that had started happening so recently today.

" Calm down, Miss Wilson. " the doctor said gently, " The baby is alright, it has sustained no damages and there seems to be no internal bleeding around the fetus. "

At this point, tears of relief began to stream down her face and she looked up at the ceiling. The baby was alright, that was all that mattered. Another thought came into her mind and she began to make a writing motion with her aching arms where various band aids. The doctors seemed to understand her so they left the room in search of what she wanted.

Now being alone, Kallisti began to think of all that had happened. There was the high chance that she could have died. She would have been out of this game . . . How could she have come so close? If dead, she would have to worry about nothing any longer. Being dead in this game was easier than being alive, there was no doubt of that, and at the beginning of it, Kallisti told herself that she didn't care if she died, she wasn't scared of dying - not in the least.

She had come this far already, though. Would it be wise to just . . . throw that all away.

Thoughts came to the boy and the girl that she had placed Cristina by. She sighed - they were probably unhappy with her, and her rage had been foolish. She truly did hope that the both of them were well. What were their names, she wondered? That video game party, she had heard the name of the girl, just from her arriving. Marisa? Maria? Mary? Normally, she was decent in placing names, but she was tired and disoriented . . .

Marina, that's what it was. Marine, aquamarine . . . That had been the color of her eyes, no? They were fairly pretty. She was fairly pretty herself. A sigh let out of her mouth. She would apologize to Marina and the boy. Marina seemed to know the boy, actually . . .

At this time, one of the earlier doctors had come in with a pen and paper and Kallisti gave him a nod of gratitude and took what was handed to her. She began to write a note as the doctor sat down. To the doctor, she asked if Kallisti Lein and a Miss Olivia could be checked on, and then she handed him the note, also writing for him to deliver it to the Miss Marina it was addressed to.

Her hand hurt. The only thing she currently wished for was for Marina to reply to her note, and some decent rest.

Ah.
Olivia, delicately and tightly holding a branch, cleared her way towards the edge of the hill. She was a bit far from the rest of them now. Her legs needed rest. She hoped dearly that she had not worn out Ben's body too extensively. Her feet were aching. But she was here.

The cold air tickled her nose, and the quiet, empty mountain street, with its palisade of blackened conifers, smelled of sweet pine sap intermingled with the blight of cold rain. Rain? It would be raining soon, at least here. That would be a pleasure for Olivia. Something finally going her way, it appears.

She walked, slowly, out onto the decrepit, worn asphalt of Bacchus Road. Few cars had passed this particular hill in years. But still, Olivia found much solace in this serene soprano of nature and human effort.

For before her stood the burnt out corpse; the blackened husk, of an enormous structure. It was tall, monolithic, imposing. The winds rang songs of lamentation as they flowed between its angular, jagged crevices, as if reflecting happier days before. The windows were broken in or melted, with jagged talons of glass turning the building into an imposing fortress. Prisms and slabs of smoky concrete and metal tbrust out almost at whim, and altogether, it gave the once-dignified modernist home, a symbol of a nigh futurist vision, an air of folly and failed pasts. It was a wrecked coffin of an old estate, with stagnant pools of greenish waters and piles of rubble overtaking corners and edges. It was like tarnished silver. It was a structure that would always haunt Olivia. It was what she needed.

To the outside world, this forgotten relic was a transcendental, ephemeral pinprick on the long history of Brookridge. To the police, it had been the scene of the most gruesome murder and escape case since the earlier centuries. Who could forget the Roncesvalles Case?

Olivia shuddered. Was it from the wind, or was it from the lapses of memory that briefly tickled her mind?

All on the road was silent save for the wind that trailed across the smoky conifer branches. Olivia, without a second thought, entered this Burnt Estate through the familiar gaping hole near its farthest corner. Charred stone, broken glass, and crushed leaves equally crackled under her soft, careful footfalls, indiscriminate in their piercing shrieks.

The estate was just as it had been left. Equipment of the police, now relatively forgotten, still existed here and there. The wooden floor was messy and stained with odd liquids and colours, and holes in the rotten wood led to the abyss of the dirt beneath the old home. Floating dust created a foggy mist that remained hovering over the violently scratched furniture, the inner cotton fleece soul thrusting and protruding from welts and worn corners into the dead air.

It was good you were calm, Olivia. There were a few things to do first. Olivia moved down the stairs towards the basement. With each step upon the old mahogany, the small, cramped stairwell echoed shrieks and creaks. In the silence, they rung in Olivia's ears, and she tried her best to keep her face solemn.

When she reached the basement, she pulled a beaded cord directly in front of her. Snap. The lights flickered on from aging incandescent bulbs along the ceiling. The room was musty and smelled of damp wood, metal and oil. Her workshop was a familiar sight, and it rested her heart to see it here like this, unscathed, in touch.

She coughed again. Ack.
Olivia slowly walked over to one of the cabinets and opened the broken glass doors. The shelves were stocked with all sorts of bandages and pills. Mm. She traced her finger delicately along one of the labels, and picked out a small red case labelled. "Direnesse of Coughe".

Pop. It opened. She picked out a translucent pink tablet and gently placed it on her tongue. Closing her eyes, she swallowed.

Urgh.
She coughed again. But this time it was loud and menacing. Her chest seemed to inflate with these coughs. They turned into hacks. She almost slipped and quickly held the edge of the work bench. The pills dropped to the floor.

Get it-- get it over with already--

Drops of blood from her throat hit the stone floor with soft falls. She coughed again and vomited a bit of blood. Her hand trembled violently, and she held her stomach--

But like that, it was over.
The soreness left her chest. Her air and voice felt free again.
Ugh. Blood. Her blood. The thought made her nauseous. Why blood? She looked away with a queasy expression. She would clean it up later. She picked up the pills and returned them to the cabinet, grabbing a.roll of bandages along the way.

Ben's body had been limping for a while. She set about her next task. Moving to a metal cabinet, she opened it slowly. Inside hung a few strange, oddly built robotic parts. They seemed light and minimalistic. Some looked like braces, others like entire limbs, and even then some like giant cubes and towers of metal and wire. She grabbed a pair of sandle-like structures and limped over to the work bench.

Taking off her shoes, she noticed that her feet were bleeding in places. She sat on the bench and held the bandages by her teeth as she wrapped a few around her gashes. Righty. She then slipped her bandaged feet into the sandle-like objects, and began adjusting dials on both of them near their heels. Proper calibration for Ben's centre of gravity was necessary.

She flexed her toes. That seemed good. Bounding off the workbench, she landed easily on the bracers. These would only be temporary, but would allow these feet to heal without putting extra pressure on them. And the best part? They doubled one's running speed with only sixty percent of the energy needed. Olivia giggled.

One last task, before waiting. She moved past the work bench to a small wooden table in the corner. In the dim lights, a few monitors glowed a stark, gamma blue. She sat on the swivel chair and began typing away on the computer, and immediately, she was able to see through Viola's robotic eye.

Viola, having flown this time by the helicopter, had been swooping down looking for Olivia in Ben's body. With new instructions, she changed her course, and began following Ben, walking off in Olivia's own body. It looked a bit scratched, but nothing her mechanics couldn't fix.

Olivia turned away from the computer and sighed. Soft pattering gently tickled the upstairs walls. It would be raining soon.

Ah.
She should probably send texts to a good few of them.

"Dear Miss Lein,
I apologize, deeply, if you may dislike my person, and our Academy, for this traumatic event. It is understandable, and all I wish to do is to make it up to you in some fashion. If you are at the Hydrangea Hospital, and if you still do not mind my company, please allow me to visit you.
- - Olivia"

"Dear Miss Sario,
I sincerely hope you are feeling alright, and I hope that the boy Mr. Weldon is alright in your care, but I trust he is. I apologize for my sudden departure, as I was to avoid the incoming police, but I hope that the paramedics that have been sent on call are enough to help you all. Thank you for attempting to save us. You are a kind soul and in my gratitude. The Tosca Estate shall pay you in full for the helicopter, and I hope you may allow my visit to your room, for we must discuss things regarding your well being which is sorely my own fault.
- - Olivia"

For once, Olivia let out a gentle sigh. It was as if she failed all of those on this trip.

Failed.
Failure.
She looked at the sleeve of her coat. Drops of blood stained it a brownish maroon. Olivia lowered her eyes and began typing another message.

"Malchik.
I had to steal your coats. They're dirty. Not that they were not before anyway. Aha.
Stay careful of those damn snakes, and that is a definite order upon my person, who is currently in the middle of contemplating her past and futute.
Not necessarily that I may care regardless, but my little-worth student does deserve the satisfaction of staying alive, I suppose, because he has in his ability to stay alive and do much, much more.
- - Ollie"

It was time to wait for Ben.

"D-D-Dye...my hair.." Casey said totally stunned by the realization. The thought absolutly never came up in his mind and in reality it was a brilliant idea. Sure the topic of why his hair dye didn't run out echoed through his mind, but this mere fact was far to stunning to care. Casey's eyes began to sparkle,he was giddy with excitement and wished to hug Heidi for the wonderful idea, but that had to come to a stop upon hearing her say that they should be quiet. Before the boy realized it he was suddenly pulled by Heidi and they continued on. The sudden sound of what sounded like snakes reached the teen's ears and he immediately began to sweat. Casey was nervous, but he had to remain tough since Heidi was with him. He told himself that he should be grateful that they weren't spiders and that they would get out without a problem.

Hearing Heidi speak again calmed the teen's mind even more. He matched speeds with Heidi and looked up at her while she spoke. "Ah well my mommy like my hair long like this, she says it makes me handsome" Casey said closing his eyes with a smile. "though even though she likes to play around with my hair, I'm still glad she like it like this" Casey said. The time he spent with his mother and father were always the most precious times for the teen. Though they never saw each other much, they still knew they loved each other very much.

Bronagh did not want to sleep, she wanted to know what was going on and if her legs would be alright. But during the ride in the ambulance all of the pain kicked in at once and the emergency team had no choice but to knock her out.
When she finally had woken up she had surgery done on both of her legs. Her aunt Joyce got there in time, but her mother had no plans on going to the hospital. Bronagh was still on the after effects of the medication.
"Everything is so... soft.. and, clean. Why do these places have to be so... clean. For places that carry sick people and dying people, and sometimes dead people..."
"Bronagh... I think you need to go back to sleep."
"No~ No sleep for me. No need to sleep all I do is sleep sleep sleep sleep sleep..."
Bronagh's aunt sighed as she started talking to doctors, but Bronagh couldn't catch what they were talking about. It wasn't until Bronagh moved her legs and pain shot through her body that the whole incident finally played back into her head.
"OH MY GOD IS EVERYONE ALRIGHT!"
"Shhhh shhshhshh Bronagh people are sleeping."
"No one died right..."
"Bronagh just relax."
"Joyce I just want to know if everyone is okay."
"Bronagh it's probably best if you go back to sleep."
Bronagh grabbed the collar of her aunt's shirt and pulled her closer, "Don't dance around the question auntie I will be more stressed out if you do."
"...I do not know, they won't tell me anything Bronagh."
Bronagh let go of the collar and leaned back and closed her eyes, she was almost praying that everyone was alright.
"I know no doctors would say this to you, but you were really lucky. If you were crushed any higher you would be paralyzed from the waste down. Instead, you will be fine in a few months with physical therapy. You'll be walking by your sixteenth birthday."
Bronagh looked around the room, she wanted to know where everyone else was but wouldn't dare move. They didn't have her legs raised like she was expecting, they were raised but not up the in the things they showed in the movies.
Please, oh please. Everyone be alright....

xxxxxCasey seemed awfully surprised by her dying comment. Was it that crazy of an idea? He probably hated it. She was no good at making suggestions about anything, let alone hair. He seemed to settle down afterwards and speed up, matching her pace. That was good, because Heidi swore she saw something slithering out of the corner of her eye, but did not wait around to discover what it was. She sped up the staircase to the floor of Altair's room. The elevator could potentially be a dangerous choice, not to mention elevators are evil, so the stairs were an obvious choise.

xxxxxIt was a lot easier to climb them in her body, but Zoey's seemed more physically fit. Maybe that was something she could try doing for the window of time she had left. Heidi pushed the thoughts of the letter to the back burners for now as she crept quietly down the hall. If there was a snake lurking about, hopefully it wouldn't hear them. The familiar hissing sound echoed from the other end and she broke out into a full on sprint, running for the door. She was within reach. The doorknob was right in front of her, but so was something else. It slithered out from another room. Someone had left their door open. Heidi froze in place. Maybe it wouldn't register that she was anything organic if she didn't move.

xxxxxWhere was Casey? She was too afraid to look. She wasn't sure how quickly she had ran. Was he right beside her, down the hall, or still back at the staircase? It didn't matter. Heidi had no way of defending herself. Her eyes were wide with fear darting between the snake and the door. It was right there. She had been so close and now she was stuck.[DOUBLEPOST=1358826557][/DOUBLEPOST]

xxxxxAs Marina contemplated who might be in the beds beside her, there was a knock on the door. She half expected it to be Nathan again and was readying the pillow behind her head to take aim. Disappointed, she stared blankly at the face of the med student. He came towards her, presenting Marina with a letter before double checking her vitals and leaving. Unless he was a complete moron, he could have predicted what her vitals would look like without even checking. They were still the same as the last five times someone looked.

xxxxxShe studied the neat delicate handwritting that addressed her name on the outside. It was rather feminie. Who would send her a letter? Marina flipped it open carefully with one hand, scanning the words slowly. So the bitchy blond's name was Quintus and she wished to apologize? Well, that was a start. The girl wrongfully attacked her in the street and an apology was necessary to move forward. Why was she being forced to spend so much time interacting with other females as of late? It was getting uncomfortably tedious to maintain a collected composure around them.

xxxxxThere was a small table near her bed that contained her personal affects-- the ones not completley ruined from the crash and its aftermath. There was also a small notepad and pen, no doubt forgotten by one of the stupid interns. She reached out for it, knocking the pen and paper onto the floor. Marina groaned in anguish as she watched it fall. Almost as if on cue, her phone beeped then after. She could not reach it to check what it said. She also could not write a reply message. This was frustraing. She slammed her body back onto the bed, her head hitting the pillow, and laid there staring at the ceiling in frustration.

Casey remained cautious on their way as they continued on their path. He noticed the elevator up ahead but he knew that it was an absolutely horrible idea. If only Tommy was here, then he would have felt much more safe. Tommy would have totally kicked all the snakes asses. You maybe be saying "But Snakes don't have asses" but Tommy's awesomeness made it possible. Glancing back at Heidi he immediately followed her toward the staircase. Alongside Heidi he climbed up the stairs.

Upon reaching the hallway, Casey smiled as he glanced down it "Hey Heididy we are almost-" Casey began to say but immediately paused upon noticing her rush forward "Hey wait hold on!" Casey said as he rushed after her. Rushing like that was not safe but he needed to help Heidi if anything came up. He continued to run ahead and eventually reached Heidi. He let out a sigh but immediately froze upon realizing the situation they were in "s-s-snake!" Casey said in fear. Everything slowed down in the teens mind and he felt like this was the end, but a sound came from behind, a very quiet creak and...

BANG

The snake fell dead and from behind the two in the hallway were dragged into the cold room of Altair.

xxxxxHeidi had pretty much given up on any chance of survival in the moment the snake appeared before her. Casey had joined her side in fear and she had said good bye to this cruel cruel world. She didn't even get to see Altair back in his wonderful body. Was he still Marcus? That was too bad.

xxxxxBANG

xxxxWhat was that? She didn't even know. Heidi felt herself being pulled back, but where to? She looked up, seeing a familiar black face as they were dragged into Altair's room. Her face reddened. Obviously he hadn't changed back yet. How come? They all did. "A-Altair!" she stammered and stumbled back into the bedroom. "Wh-what?" It was freezing in there and she shivered instantly. And....idk anymore...so yeah...in the freezing bedroom they went...

Cristina did not remember much of what happened in the wretched helicopter. Soon after it had all happened her world went black, and now awake, she found herself in another hospital room. The first thing she did was test if she could still speak- well if Quin could still speak. "Hello?" Oh thank god.

The events during and after the helicopter ride were all so frightening to her. In the past she had told herself that if she were to die, she would reunite with her parents again. Death would have been good for her. However for some reason, during the discovery of the snake on the helicopter she froze in fear of death and not because she wanted to die. The same after the helicopter crash landed. She just stood there. It was Quin who ended up pulling her out. Is it that I'm really afraid of death?

Regardless, Cristina would have to thank Quin for pulling her out of the dangerous situation. As she sat up, she could feel her head pounding. Her back and neck were also hurting. A nurse who was walking past the room ran in. "Ah! Please be careful!" she said as she helped her sit up, "You might hurt yourself if you move around too much! What happened didn't exactly help your legs either!" The nurse then told her to stay in bed and then left the room. Her legs? Did they get more scarred? Oh no. No. She pulled the blanket up so she could see. The scarring didn't seem to be any worse than it had been before, but Cristina could feel a stinging sensation coming from them. Oh my god.

Theodore's finger inched towards the button he assumed would call the nurse. It lit up in response and he sighed out softly, staring up at the ceiling with a grimace. This...sucked. He wondered if Marcus was alright, but figured he had probably stolen himself a flamethrower or some such and would be fine. He tried not to listen in on the conversation happening behind the first curtain and was grateful for the nurse who approached him so soon after his button pressing. Prompt. Excellent.

Excuse me, would you mind assisting me for a moment? I need to call my father.

Of course! Do you need help reaching the phone?

Ah, well, my cell phone...He won't answer anything else. It's in my pocket. I'm having trouble bending my arm to get it.

The nurse was...attractive. She looked maybe--what--in her late twenties? Sandy blonde hair, tall and curvy. She was cute, and looked mixed with something. How privileged was this woman? His eyes flashed to her name tag. Valerie. He would remember to get her number before he left...Whenever that would be. He did not want to spend Christmas in a hospital bed.

He held back a satisfied smirk as the nurse reached down, unfazed, to retrieve his cell phone. With permission, she dialed his father's number and stuck the phone between his ear and the pillow and then left without another word.

As the phone rang, he noticed the clattering of a notebook and pen hitting the ground. His eyes locked onto it, but hell if he could reach it...He couldn't even hold his own phone. There was definitely someone in here, though. He should have paid attention to the conversation earlier. Forget courtesy.

James.

Father.

You are actually contacting me. Should I be concerned?

I am in the hospital.

...What has happened? Do you need me? Where are you? ...Is it--?

No, it is not that. I was in an accident. I should be fine. I thought I should let you know.

Where are you, James?

Hydrangea.

You will be transferred to my facility immediately.

I do not need you to--...

Click.

With a mere sigh, Altair closed the door immediately and let out a sigh as the two were safely inside the room "I figured you changed back, god praise our luck that I decided to open that door" Altair said as he walked back towards the bed and sat upon it "I never figured I would be using this for something like that, but I'm grateful I had it on me" Altair said with a sigh as he glanced back at the two "I'm glad to see you two are here, it puts my mind at ease" Altair said with a smile.

It was odd to see some random guy speak like that to him, he definitely sounded like Altair but he looked totally different. Shifting his eyes over to the side he noticed Altair's body. It confused him at first but then he recalled the earlier situation and come up with the solution "Tarry is that you? and why is it so bloody cold in here?" Casey said shivering.

Altair could only smiled as he glanced back "yup its me, we've gotta keep this room cold in order to drive away any snakes, there are extra clothing other there so bundle up and be carful. The more layers the more harder poison can reach the body" Altair explained to the two as he gripped his gun. WHo knew where these snakes could have been. Just because the place was cold didn't mean they were totally safe

xxxxxMarina glanced over at the curtain at the sound of voices. It was male and familiar. She smirked, then winced. It hurt. So he was sharing a room with her? How lovely. It would be the perfect oppotunity to bond. They now shared something in common. Something she could use to acquire a new client. She waited for him to finish the phone call. It would have been rude of her to interrupt. When it was presumably done, Marina reached over to the curtain, fingertips grazing the ugly cotton fabric. She missed on the first go, and almost fell out of bed the second time.

xxxxxThe morphin numbed the pain in her body, so she decided it safe enough to step out bed briefly. She swung her legs down and wrapped her hand around the bed railing. Her knees quaked as she bent down to pick up the pen and paper. The IV cord tangled around her and she yelped as it tugged on her. She sat back down on the edge of the bed and placed the items, along with her phone that was now within reach, beside her. Marina reached out to the curtain again more successfully. She tugged at it, drawing the curtain back and revealing herself to the dark haired boy in a neck brace. That was rather unbecoming, but it would not be there forever. It was only a matter of waiting. "Hello there Theodore. Long time no see." She smiled pleasantly at him before lying back down in the bed.

xxxxxMarina quickly checked the text. It was from Benjamin, well, Olivia. She was still using Benjamin's phone. They would replace the helicopter? Her father would be pleased to hear such news. She did not blame Olivia. Marina had full intentions of getting on the chopper without Olivia requesting more passengers. She tapped away at the screen with one hand, sending a quick reply.
xxxxxShe looked back over to Theodore, still smiling. "How are you feeling hon?"
