It felt rather nice being out of the city where she committed the murders. Though at least the flood hindered the investigation enough for her to safely enroll in the new school without any troubles. What a pleasant thing, this was. And by the time she got there she learned of Anthony also having arrived the night before. But when she got to his dorm room no one was there. Had he really skipped his bed time?

Sighing she decided to sit on one of the beds and waited. And waited.

It was morning now and she was rather lacking in sleep, which almost lead to her passing out. However the moment the door opened to reveal her brother her energy returned two fold.

"It is so good to see you again, dear brother."

Oh, what's this? Why did he look so scared of her? His greeting was even mumbled as he closed the door behind him. And what's that? He looked rather down too.

"Poor baby brother. This game is really getting to you, isn't it?" She went to hug him but he stepped away which resulted in a frown.

"Did you...really kill..."

Ah, so he knew. How, she had no idea. But this was most unfortunate. "I had to, they hurt you."

"So they're all dead because of me?"

"Now, now Anthony. There's no need to cry, it isn't your fault. They deserved to die. David and Adam for breaking in our house and hurting you. The cheerleaders for being just awful people. And mom and dad for-"

"Wait, but... Auntie said they were just in a car accident. So you couldn't have...no it's a joke, right? No one really died, right?"

Oops. Would seem like he did not know about that last incident. What a shame, for him to find out in such a manner. And now he was falling over so she quickly moved to catch him, holding him in an embrace. What an awful thing, to see him crying like this. But it okay for surely he would understand. If not now than one day he will.

Pushing her aside the boy got up, wiping his eyes. "Stop it. Just stop all of this."

"I can't."

"Yes you can! Just stop. Stop it and leave me alone!"

Elizabeth tried to stop him but he had turned and ran out of the room and was much faster than herself. Sighing she began walking his room, unpacking some boxes their aunt had sent for them before leaving the room herself. He just needed some time, right? And then surely they can be loving siblings again. Better than before, as she would do everything in her power to ensure his happiness, even if he didn't understand it at first.

A few minutes later, Alyssa found a sign that said:

MAIN OFFICE ->

"Found it!" Alyssa turned and walked right until she came to the door to the main office.
But then she looked at her phone, it was sometime after midnight.
"I probably shouldn't disturb anyone." Alyssa made a note on where the main office was and decided to look a bit around the school.

The suns rays managed to peek through her blinds, waking Aileen up. She sat up, rubbed her eyes and yawned. Today was the day that she would move into the dorms. For a couple of minutes, she just sat on her bed looking at the bags she had packed. There were three: her purse, her ballet bag and a larger duffle bag with all of her other belongings. She was feeling nervous. What if I get assigned a roommate I don't know? What if she doesn't like me? She shook her head and tried to forget her nervousness. After getting ready, Aileen placed her brush and toiletries into her bag. She double checked her room to make sure she didn't forget to pack anything.

With all of this done, Aileen hung one of her bags on her shoulder while holding the others in her hands. She walked down the stairs and placed them near the front door. Next, she walked to the kitchen and popped a slice of bread into the toaster. While it was still in there, she poured cereal into a small container, put the cover over it and placed it into her purse. That would be her snack if she were to get hungry. When her toast popped out of the toaster, she buttered it and started eating it at the kitchen table. Brian still hadn't woken up, so she decided to eat slowly.

Waking up without the annoying roommate was a pleasant change. Cristina actually woke up feeling somewhat cheerful. She noticed that she wasn't feeling as nauseous as she normally had. Maybe I'm finally getting used to this pregnancy... She was grateful to both things.

She looked over to the other bed in her room. It looked the same as it had the night before. I guess my roommate didn't come yet. Cristina was curious as to who it would be. This time around, she would like it if she became friends with her roommate rather than enemies.

Cristina got ready and changed. Since she had missed exploring the campus with the others the night before, she had planned to do so today. The campus is huge. There has to be something interesting to sketch. With her sketchbook, pencil case, speech device, and snacks in her canvas bag, she headed out the door, locking it behind her.

For a moment she wondered where she could find breakfast or something to eat. She decided just to walk around and see if she would come across one. If not she would eat her snacks and just ask for directions later. From the Ashvale Dorm, Cristina began walking south.

Thirty minutes later, Alyssa walked into the main office to check in and get her room key. Then she walked to her dorm to unpack.

She didn't see anyone else there. If she had a roommate, she was probably either asleep or not in the room.

Not wanting to disturb anyone, Alyssa used a flashlight to lay out her clothes for the morning and set up her bed, then she put on some pjs and crawled under the covers.

"I'll do the rest of the unpacking in the morning." She told herself as she went to sleep.

Bronagh walked outside of the school and sat on one of the steps. All she really wanted was some fresh air to be able to call her mother. When she dialed up her home phone number she got no response. So she called back a second time and it kicked right into voice-mail, which meant her mother was either trying to call her back or her mother answered someone else on the phone.
She put down her phone for a minute and heard it ring the Doctor Who theme like it always does when her mother calls. When she answered the phone she smiled and sung, "Hello~"

When Bronagh hung up the phone she leaned back and stared up at the clouds, one of the clouds in particular looked like a rabbit. The rabbit happened to be one of the faster moving clouds and as it moved, it shifted and looked as though it had fangs and claws. She smiled at it, but only because it reminded of her of the movies she used to watch with her dad.
Dad... am I going to be okay?
Suddenly her phone rang again the scifi tune once more and she answered the phone quickly, "Hello?"

Bronagh listened to her mom hang up on her angrily and she lowered her phone and hung up. She looked back up at the sky and chuckled.
Well Dad, you're not very good at miracles... that's okay...

The morning light woke up Alyssa a few hours later, and gave her the sense to unpack the rest of her stuff and get dressed. Which she did.
After that, she decided to find a place to get some breakfast in the academy, but she didn't know where.
She was the only person in the room, but she had a feeling that someone else was rooming with her, because the bed on the other side was made.
But nonetheless, Alyssa walked out of the dorm to find a place.
Then in a courtyard, a boy walked up to her and said, "Hi there, you must be one of those new guys from Coy City, need help finding some place?"
Alyssa looked up at him and replied, "Yes, where is a place I can get breakfast?"
"I was just about to go to that place, follow me." The boy gestured her to follow him, "Oh, and by the way, my name's Ace. Ace Montson."
"I'm Alyssa. Alyssa Hunter." She replied.

"Hey, Ace, you going to breakfast?" Drake, Ace's twin brother, asked while popping his head in Ace's dorm.
"Yeah, I'll meet you over there." Ace replied, then he got some socks and shoes on and walked out of the dorm.
Then he remembered the email that escaped his spam folder, this "Crestatia" telling him he has 100 Days left to live (after he looked at the date he got it, he found out he actually had 84 left, if the email was real).
Ace himself didn't believe that the message was real, and was made by some bored hacker just to see his reaction and if he would reply.
Then as he walked into the courtyard, he noticed a girl about 14 who looked a bit lost, "One of those new students from Coy City," He assumed.
Ace walked up to her and said, "Hi there, you must be one of those new guys from Coy City, need help finding some place?"
The girl looked up at him and replied, "Yes, where is a place I can get breakfast?"
"I was just about to go to that place, follow me." He gestured her to follow him, "Oh, and by the way, my name's Ace. Ace Montson."
"I'm Alyssa. Alyssa Hunter." The girl replied.
Alyssa Hunter.... Was that one of the names on that "list"?

xxxxxxxxxx Breakfast had been relatively quiet, and Kallisti had not spoken but two sentences to Harley. Being around him in recent times was . . . stressful. She used to be terrified of her cousin and his presence, ever since he had left her life all of that time ago. It wasn't exactly his fault - though he wasn't completely innocent, but it was more of he being the . . . favorite, and therefore spared of the path Kallisti's childhood had taken. She did not place the blame on his shoulders, not wholly, but as things stood, she couldn't place her trust in him, or anyone he might be in relations to. That was not a risk she was willing to take.

At any rate, she had finished her breakfast and Harley had decided he wanted to check out the astrology tower for some reason, so she decided she would tag along with him - not that he would let her stay in the diner by herself. As the two of them left, Harley received a phone call and shortly left Kallisti to her own thoughts, which traveled back to the trek that brought them here. Her mind flowed around Cherno and his revealing that he had amnesia - he hadn't remember any of them, but it seemed that some previous thoughts had lingered, such as his close friendship with John and his older brother status with Anthony. Memories of the heart are much more difficult to forget. She hadn't known, though, that he had been in love ( maybe? ) with Miss Temperance; however, Kallisti didn't like to think about Miss Temperance, the girl with the awful behavior and superior-complex-filled attitude.

Temperance herself, though, wasn't the reason she didn't like to think about her - there was something, perhaps someone, associated with her, and that thought brought an ache to Kallisti's chest and made her feel a deep sadness.

Before she could dwell anymore on it, however, Harley had finished his phone call and said they should hurry. He seemed cheerful enough, but Kallisti still didn't trust that gleam in his eyes, the one that yearned so much for her to be safe.

xxxxxxxxxx It still seemed that his cousin was in the dark about what happened on the train, and for that, he was grateful. Kallisti wasn't an unstable person, if anything, she was freakishly calm, but her mindset was fragile, had a certain way of working, and when it was disturbed, everything basically went to **** for her.

He sighed. Anthony had come to join them at their table, which he was slightly glad for because this meant Anthony hadn't grown resentful of him for how lethally his behavior towards Heidi was. Speaking of, he hadn't seen here anywhere in the diner - not that he really expected to, after what went down . . .

" So . . . " Anthony began, " What do you guys think of Analynne? "

. . . That was actually a pretty good question. The fine print of the rules, " NO ANALYNNE, NO ANALYNNE, NO ANALYNNE " had seemed pretty . . . definite, but being in the fine print, it was obvious little Crestatia didn't want them to see that part. His immediate and first guess was that Analynne was another witch, one that Crestatia didn't want them to know about - but why? He bet that Analynne could help them in some way, but if she was a witch as well, then she wasn't to be trusted at all.

Harley wondered if she could be summoned like Crestatia said she could.

Before he could actually answer the other, though, he was gone, and Harley raised an eyebrow, shrugging it off minutes later.

Eventually, Harley and Kallisti finished their food and headed out of the diner to do some exploring around the academy. He was really anxious to go to that astrology tower to check out the telescope and its specs. Before that, though, they had explored some other places; the courtyards, classrooms, auditorium, and luckily for the both of them, they had one of the largest music halls in the state - fantastic! With an academy like this, they were also sure to have a symphonic orchestra of their own, one that he'd definitely join.

Some time after they fully moved through the music hall ( which was basically its own building ), they finally got where he wanted to be - the astrology tower. They went through the door to see a staircase that hugged the wall and spiraled up. The climb to their destination wasn't too much, but about halfway up, Harley thought he might have been hearing things - hearing a voice. As they drew closer up, Kallisti was hearing it, too. They stopped to listen and found that it was someone singing a song.
━━━━━
━━━━━
Upon listening more, Kallisti pointed out that it was the Ava Maria, a song that was originally instrumental and composed by Franz Schubert, who wrote seven similar pieces from the epic poem, The Lady in the lake. It was sung most beautifully, and the two of them quietly and carefully made their way closer to the door. It inaudibly opened and they stepped in to see a girl with pale hair and fair skin, looking through the out the window that perimetered the tower.

The two stood by and the song came to a soft end. Harley was surprised that someone so young could sing something so difficult - in opera, too. Kallisti had stepped forward and called out to the girl, " That was very beautiful. " she said, awed by the music.

Olivia's Diary Entry | December 16
« Harp of the North! that mouldering long hast hung
On the witch-elm that shades Saint Fillan's spring. »

"That was very beautiful."

Oh? It was ... an unfamiliar voice.
{ } || astronomy tower oratorio des étoiles

An unfamiliar voice. An unfamiliar voice that brought with it a set of footsteps -- no, two sets of footsteps. How quaint. These birds that decided to land upon Olivia's overturned shoulder today. And whomever may they be, interrupting her singing in this surprising manner? She certainly hoped that even without her singing at the moment, her little friend could find her way back here.

Olivia lay reclining gracefully towards the edge of the window, her lightly gloved left arm daintily swaying to and fro in the calm mountain breeze as she rested her chin upon the window sill. It was a certain surprise to the girl, she would have to admit. How often it was that someone came across the Astronomy Tower of all places, especially in the day? She smiled to herself a bit dimly, tinged with melancholia. In all of her time at the school, she was unable to trace the origin of this sweet voice, which had tickled her ears like gentle raindrops upon new spring leaves. She held a gloved finger to her lips in concentrated remembrance, but it was to no avail.

This young lady was a new student, was it? How pleasant. How very pleasant indeed. Olivia giggled to herself sweetly - a gentle, kind laugh that waltzed with the frosty December air. She let out a soft sigh and let the silence between them act as a deluge that would increase the conditions of the little test she would put the origin of this lovely voice through. Without her song, the only arias that echoed through the tower were those of the winds themselves.

She did not turn to see the two standing behind her, and instead continued to look out towards the distance, beyond the Astronomy Tower. She drew circles in the frigid air with her free, dangling hand, just below the window.

"My my," She began. Her voice was like a delicate February frost, airy and light, yet refreshing and sharp. It was calm and deliberate, and almost playful, as if it were but a mirror of the clear weather at the time. "I certainly did not expect to have my little session interrupted now. If the students of my homeroom hear that their little representative is in such a strange location, the hoi polloi would have an uproar." She giggled again, but continued her search towards the mountains, and her little test. She did not even turn her head slightly at the people behind her, and she felt she had little reason to. All could be discerned by the very manner in which a person presents themselves.

"I can tell, from the very vocalisations of your rhetoric, that you are a very, very educated young lady. Is that true, or am I simply -- how would I say -- filling myself with falsities?" She held her free hand up to her mouth in another sweet giggle. "Do you, perhaps, my fine mademoiselle, know which song exactly I was serenading the kind hearts of the frost with, on this fine winter morning?"

The nap had soon come to an end and Altair's headache didn't light up in the slightest. With a groan Altair sat up from the bed he slept on and scratched the back of his head "damn girl" Altair muttered as he stood up from his bed and walked out of his room. With the necessary rest he needed, Altair continued his search for the girl that he had swore to keep safe.

Altair entered the city once more and looked a over. In such a huge city it was quite difficult to find a person, especially if said person was attempting to hide. Just why did she hide from him? did she not trust him? did she hate him? The teen searched all over but he could not find anything. Stopping his trek Altair just stood there closed his eyes. Raising his hands he rose them to the red cloth tied to his forehead and unwrapped it. Lowering his head he glanced down with cold eyes at his most precious item "...maybe I was too hasty to call her a sister....maybe its my fate...I can never be a brother...I'm only doomed to fail those that look to me" Altair said quietly as he tied the cloth back around his forehead. Placing his hands in the jacket he wore, Altair stared up at the sky and sighed "maybe...I'm just getting too attached....is that good...or bad" Altair muttered calmly

Why do you insist on pretending like we're not here deary? "You're not here." She spun around again, ignoring the pain in her foot, searched the area nearby her. Yes we are. "No. No you're not." Heidi started running. She didn't see anything, but something felt off. Stop running. "No." We. Said. "Stop!" Her body froze in place. She couldn't move. What was wrong? Oh. Right. It was happening again. Please let me go. "No deary. We told you to stop, and you didn't listen." Please. I promise I'll listen.
"How can we trust you when you always lie?" The sound coming out of her voice was foreign, but not unfamiliar. It was lower, more sinister. She couldn't move, but they could. I promise...I swear. "What did we ask you to do?" Stop. "What didn't you do?" Stop. "What did we make you do?" Stop. "What are you going to do from now on?" Listen? "Good girl. You may have control again." Her body collapsed lifelessly on the ground. It was a small mass in the large forest. She couldn't move. She couldn't open her eyes. Darkness surrounded here.
What did you do? Just made you sleep deary. We wanted more time together. I don't want time with you. But we miss playing. Don't you want to have fun? No. Dark shadows danced across her vision. It was strange, being in this state. She was unconscious, but fully aware of her surroundings. The room was small, white, and only contained a wooden table with three wooden chairs. The ghost-like shadows hovered in two of the chairs, one of them appearing as if it had it's hand outstretched, inviting her over. A small tea kettle and three tea cups sat lazily on the table. I thought we could have a tea party, for old times sake. I don't want tea. Let me out. In due time deary. First we want out. No. It's not allowed. We'll see about that. It just sounds so much more fun then being cooped up here all day. I won't let you. I know what you'll do. You'll be fine. Just enjoy some tea and let us have a good time. Heidi shook her head, brown hair falling in various directions. She wouldn't let them take control. Not when there were so many people she cared about still nearby.
How do I get back? Why would you want to go back? Think about how they treated you. The things they said, the looks they gave. Hell, Altair didn't even stand up for you. It shows how little they all truly care. That's not true! She slammed her fist on the table. This reaction seemed to satisfy them. That was the last thing she wanted. Oh, don't worry deary. We'll take extra special care of those closest to you. The others, we could care less. no. No, NO, NO NO! I won't let you. Her fists slammed again and she stood from the seat at the table, walking back in the direction of the wall she came in. Where do you think you're going? They hissed. Oh good. They didn't like this. It would appear two could play this game. Her hands scoured the wall for a way out. All she needed was to wake up. Wake up. Wake...Up...
Her eyes fluttered open, revealing the dark cold forest. She was lost, that was for sure. Heidi had wanted to run away, but she didn't anticipate freezing to death. "Maybe I should have taken that bag with me..." Of course you should have! Are you happy now? Relatively...

xxxxxxxxxx It seems that I was born into a much different world than that of others . . .

xxxxxxxxxx The girl didn't turn around to meet their view, but the light from the outside shone on her snowy, long hair. So very ethereal, she almost wondered if who they were seeing was a spirit of someone long left from this world. Considering her dealings with psychotic witches, she could believe in most anything now, if she saw it. The glow of the hair was familiar though, just vaguely . . . It felt to be from some far off memory that wasn't quite complete, pieces lying here and there, the meeting of two aristocratic people . . .

The only sound that lingered in the air between the two was the silent echo of her praise to this girl's sky-born voice, and Kallisti would not be the first to break it. The other did not turn to see them, to look at them, but she finally spoke. " My, my, " her voice, tone was delicate, young, elegant, just as herself. Raised in a similar fashion, being in the company of the higher status, the well-to-do, " I certainly did not expect to have my little session interrupted now. If the students of my homeroom hear that their little representative is in such a strange location, the hoi polloi would have an uproar. "

Hoi polloi. Kallisti had not heard that term in . . . such a long time, it felt. Many of her aunts and uncles, and other elders would use the phrase quite a bit, but she never really . . . was fond of it. This girl, though, who she had discerned was, indeed, not a spirit of any sort, seemed so comfortable using the phrase, as if it had become natural to her. Did she think herself above the others? In class perhaps, even for Kallisti that was true, and she wouldn't deny that there were times that she looked down on others because of their inelegant behavior and manners, but she didn't think them . . . Ah, well.

" I can tell, from the very vocalizations of your rhetoric, that you are a very, very educated young lady. " the other girl stated with such a sureness in her voice, " Is that true, or am I simply - how would I say - filling myself with falsities? " There was another giggle, " Do you, perhaps, my fine mademoiselle, know which song exactly I was serenading the kind hearts of the frost with, on this fine winter morning? "

Kallisti gazed behind her, to Harley, to gauge his expression and thoughts on this situation, on this girl that was here in the place he wanted so much to come to. She recognized the look immediately - he was interested, and to be perfectly frank, so was she. It was obvious that this girl had been raised in the same kind of environment that Harley and she had. Perhaps that may be why she seemed so familiar . . . ? There was a substantial chance that they had crossed paths in life before, and now, at one of the most prestigious schools in the state, perhaps in the entirety of the country, they were meeting each other once more.

She naturally fell back into the mindset that was burned into her mind during childhood, " You are correct in your supposition that I have had a higher standard of education than the . . . 'hoi polloi', and therefore am educated in a vast amount of the arts. " she explained, her tone warm and alive, filling the room with the months of spring and summer, " The song is originally Ellens Gesang III, composed by the Austian composer Franz Schubert in the year 1852. It is apart of Schubert's Opus 52, which is the setting of seven songs for the epic poem The Lady of the Lake, by Walter Scott. " The feeling of these words flowing from her mouth so naturally was strange, perplexing; pouring out this knowledge to someone who would understand . . . Refreshing, " The song is generally recorded under the title of Ave Maria, the majority of the time, the lyrics and arrangement commonly differing from the original context and meaning of the poem. "

It had been a long time since she had explained something in such depth - there was a time, when she was younger, that she had to recite similar things every time at the same day. This girl, however, made her feel as if she were back in those times, where order and routine were her life.

" . . . But where are my manners. " she let out smoothly, " It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Kallisti Quintus Lein. The boy behind me is Harley Jay Jackson, he is my cousin. " It always felt peculiar to tell people that, for they looked nothing alike, even though his father and her mother were twins, " What shall I call you, miss? "

This life was what her mother tried to get away from, but elders are stubborn and dig their claws into the young. Once one is in it, it is life.

It was odd... Tyler swore that this song kept popping up on his Ipod more and more often despite the fact he usually kept it on shuffle mode. Perhaps this was a sign... After all, the feelings this song invoked every time in the visual novel/anime that it was from matched Tyler's own feelings very well. Time and everything else just seemed to flow around him now, detached from everything else. It was like he was detached from everything. The logic of the world seemed to be gone. Tyler had no clue what was what anymore. Only a few things remained clear, one of those being his friendship with Quin. ...Who speaking of... he hadn't heard from in a few days.
After Cherno vanished yesterday in what could only be described as... an event that left Tyler utterly perplexed that if this life was an RP, he wouldn't have known how to post afterwards in response to deal with the situation. But oh well. That was life, not an RP. Tyler found it amusing how he kept referencing things in such a way lately. Maybe he had an acute version of Eighth Grader Syndrome (similar to what he believed Anthony possessed). Of course though, Tyler could still make a distinction between fiction and real life... but that was just the thing wasn't it. How could anyone be sure of what was real or not anymore. This entire situation, and existence seemed entirely unbelievable now ever since Crestatia had arrived and completely turned their lives around. ...Either way, Tyler had found an email matching the letter he had read yesterday. So... he had started to prepare things for the move as well as talking it over with his mom when he was able to. And now today... he was on his way to this new place he'd be calling his home. He wanted to see what it was like.
He'd hopefully arrive there soon.
...The song on his Ipod changed... but it didn't, instead it repeated the same song as if it were meant to prolong these feelings. If Tyler didn't know better, he'd say some external force was messing with his Ipod for some sense of dramatic irony.

Yesterday had been a blast. It had been so much fun hanging out with Matt. After all, being new to the area, Matt was still her only friend currently, so it was nice being able to spend time with him.
...She had awoken to the smell of bacon and eggs and other delicious smelling things that made her tummy rumble excitedly. She sat up in bed and realized she was in a baggy shirt and just panties. ...Why? She normally slept nake- Oh yeah. Matt had stayed over last night, so she had naturally done the decent thing and at least worn clothes for his benefit. Albeit... the boy seemed so un-attracted to her anyway that she probably could have walked around in front of him naked and he not care a bit. She was debating on whether to test this theory when the boy in question came in baring gifts - "breakfast in bed, huh? You sure know how to make a girl feel special, Matt." She winked at him.
D'aww, the guy may be a prankster and a flirt, but he was sweet. Zoey was certainly glad that she'd made such a good friend. She was a little short on friends right now and... she was certainly going to need them.

Matt smiled at her reaction to what he'd brought in, he did live to get reactions and ones like this were nice, they were much more subtle than his usual but just her smile made it worth it. "Morning sleepy head. I thought you might be hungry." He placed the tray ever so carefully down on her lap, "Well I try and you deserve it anyway. I hope you slept well. Thanks for letting me stop over." His hand went up to the back of his neck as he spoke, causing him to realise he was actually still topless, he'd kinda forgotten about that. He didn't have a bad body at all but still, Zoey had gone to the effort of wearing clothes for him so he felt a tad ashamed and quickly found his crumpled shirt to put on.

"So, what's the plan for today? Are we going to the dorms like we said? I'd need to pop home and quickly pack some stuff if we do but that won't take me long at all." He asked, just watching her eat with a smile. He'd eaten in the kitchen already while he was making hers but currently she took priority. She'd been a good friend to him and he was still on the lookout for ways to thank her. It felt good to know he had a friend who could put up with his pranks and flirting, there was an awful lot of people who couldn't.

Finally, Ace couldn't hold in his curiosity anymore. He asked Alyssa, "Umm, sorry if I'm wrong, but did you happen to get an email from someone going by 'Crestatia'?"
Alyssa hesitated, but did reply, "Yes, and I had to see and hear six deaths because of it."
"Who died?"
"You probably don't know who died since then, but their names were Thomas, Xavier, Ashina, Abigail, Madeline, and Temperance."
Thomas, Xavier, Ashina, Abigail, Madeline, Temperance, those names were on the list too. Ace decided to think it through over breakfast.
"Oh, here we are!" Ace pointed to a room with a sign above it that said "CAFETERIA", and the two walked in.
Alyssa must had found some of her friends, because she sat down with some girls her age that also were from Bellhurst.
Then his younger sister walked up to Ace and said, "Wow big brother, who is that, your new girlfriend?"
"No she's not Bella! Just shut up and sit with your other perfects!" Ace tried to get himself out of Bella's way, which he succeeded in.
"You know I'll find out the truth." Bella smiled as she went to sit back down with her friends.
After that, Ace got himself some food and went to sit next to his brother and some of his friends.
"Ace, what took you so long?" Drake asked him.
"One of those new transfers from Bellhurst got lost and I had to show her the way here." Ace replied.
"Ok."
Then Ace focused on eating his breakfast while thinking through this email, Thomas, Xavier, Ashina, Abigail, Madeline, Temperance.

As Olivia listened intently to the girl's answer to her little test while her cold eyes scanned the skies for her little friend, a change came about her. Her posture became just a very bit more upright. A gentle smile formed across her face. Her free hand suddenly stopped swaying in the lazy winter breeze. Of course, she took care to make sure that the two behind her would be unable to discern anything beyond a small shift in movement of her body. In reality, she was overjoyed. Not only was this new student able to answer her question perfectly and to immaculate detail, but she did it with such a grace that rivaled the very doves that would occasionally soar through the skies of Brookridge on a spring evening.

Olivia did not say anything in reply to the girl, instead intent on drawing patterns in the air outside the window with her dangling gloved hand. Oh where oh where could she be? At least these two would keep her company. And she was satisfied with their presence. It was not often Brookridge received someone as well-learned as this girl, even for being a very aristocratic institution. She had little reason to need to reply -- there would be no point confirmed an answer already known as a fact among two people, after all. So instead, her reply was a soft humming of the very Ave Maria the girl had spoken to her about, and her downy notes carried the breeze high up in the tower and across the wings of the mountainous air.
" . . . But where are my manners. " The girl began, after her explanation. She would be saying her name soon, as expected. Olivia's ears perked up, and she raised her head a bit, but she did not move from her position.

" It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Kallisti Quintus Lein. The boy behind me is Harley Jay Jackson, he is my cousin. "

Kallisti ... Lein?
Lein?Aha. Olivia's eyes lit up.
So she brought her own granddaughter here intentionally. Perhaps she was the one involved in the little transfer of all the Coy City students. It was no wonder someone who struck such a chord with Olivia would find herself right before her on this very afternoon. Similar minds have similar thoughts, after all. Olivia wondered if the ... older Lein would be interested to tea with her granddaughter as well.

" What shall I call you, miss? "
Olivia stood up from her resting position upon the window sill, turned around to meet them, the edges of her warm silver-blue dress fluttering very slightly in the frosty winds. She gazed at the two before her with sharp and observant eyes, which adjusted themselves warmly as she had a better idea of these people. New students, most certainly -- and certainly older than her. She held a gloved hand to her mouth as she let out another giggle. She felt giddier than usual on this particular day, hm? The boy looked like something very much out of a cave of Sybil, and the girl's blue eyes were positively electrifying. The sort that would allow anyone to fall into the enchantments of this lady.

Olivia smiled and extended her gloved hand towards them.

"How do you do?" She giggled again, closing her eyes. "It is a fine pleasure to meet a couple as educated as yourself in the midst of winter." Opening them, she turned to face Miss Lein's deep blue gaze. "You especially, my dear Miss Lein. It makes one proud to know that there are many people who are familiar enough with the lieder of Schubert."

"You may simply call me ... Olivia." She briefly turned her gaze to the window before looking back at them. How strange. Her little friend had yet to return. "I feel that my ... surnames, are fairly irrelevant, and though you shall come to know them in time, I find it best to understand the characteristics of a person by knowing them as themselves. Wouldn't you agree?" She smiled calmly again, but continued to look into Miss Lein's blue eyes.

"Your eyes are like Lorinda's, you know. I hope you consider that a compliment, because I think of it so. She is a very learned woman, and her penchant for the arts would make her a superstar in Ravensview if she ever decided to leave the Academy, which would be armageddon for us all, truly." Olivia moved to adjust one of her opera gloves and bit her lip. "I would have hoped that you would be able to reach the high expectations a woman such as Lorinda sets, but I, Miss Lein, believe that you have already surpassed them at such a young age."

She looked back at them and turned her attention to ... Mr. Harley Jackson was his name, yes? He had not spoken a word since arriving with Miss Lein. She placed a finger to her lip. Wait a moment. Their names. Harley and ... Quintus. Oh. Oh, how ... amusing. The Lein and Jackson families had a terrible sense of humour, even after all these years! Lorinda would need some explaining to do afterward.

"Mr. Jackson, you have not uttered a single word since your arrival with Miss Lein. Or am I simply too indescribable for your tastes?" She tilted her head and winked. "I am very much interested in your voice, you know. How one presents themselves -- the very soul of their being -- is emitted in fractions by how they word things. And I am rather positive that you, Mr. Jackson, must have a soul and voice as lovely as your cousin's."

She turned back to the window for a moment. "So please, Mr. Jackson, I request you and Miss Lein to-- perhaps join me on a stroll through the Heliocanthea. We may visit my little room in the Ashvale -- that is, the girls' dormitory -- for some tea, perhaps? I must know all about the new students. Would you be interested?"

And she certainly was interested in these two. It was not often they had attendants from Coy City on the property -- students, nonetheless. At the same time, a stroll through the Heliocanthea would give her a better view of where her little friend had flown off to.

But there was something odd about all of this, biting Olivia at the back of her mind.
These new students were from Bellhurst, damaged by the flood, yes?
The very same Bellhurst whose students had all perished very recently under extremely mysterious and odd circumstances, some of them.

She needed to get to the bottom of this mystery -- and this possible connection.

OOC: That awkward moment when you don't know what to do with your character who's fated to die.

John removed himself from the bench, feeling defeated and dumb. He was tired too, and the sun was up now. Great. Maybe if he slept, she'd kill him in his sleep. He'd finally be able to stop looking over his shoulder. He slapped his cheeks as he wandered down a path, he had no idea as to where he was going. But he didn't want to spend the last few days or minutes or hours he had left, stewing in depression in his room. Well, he probably would, but much later. Ha. His view changed, from buildings or glourious castle like structure. To one more natural, and green. This room was warm. It made John slightly upset, as his body shifted to the temperature change, he adored the cold. This room would make him sleepy. Oh! Flowers, his first flower had to be those red roses. He wouldn't touch, but he did stare, because God was an amazing artist.

He wondered how Anthony was doing with his charge. The world didn't seem to be ending when he was outside, so maybe the Hero was doing okay. That gave John a small charge of hope. His eyelids felt so heavy. His yawn consumed all further thought. Maybe he should find the pair. And Cherno, just to kill his indesicive mind and to let him know that staying away was truly best for them all.

xxxxxxxxxx Kallisti watched with interested as the other girl had straightened up - she didn't know if she would show her full appearance to them, or not, but it was certainly a hopeful idea. When she had, Kallisti immediately looked at her eyes, collecting on how they appeared and what mood they were in. The expression, brief as it was, was familiar; many of the people around her childhood also contained that sort of penetrating look that saw through people and knew what they were thinking before words formed from their stammering mouths.

Another giggle sounded and Kallisti almost sighed. This girl was mysterious, a mechanic of a book, the mysterious young girl who held all of the answers. Her eyes became a frosty warm color, one that would normally be found in the middle of the autumn months, on that one special day that, between all of the cold, one wouldn't have to wear gloves or earmuffs to keep their delicates warm. The girl held out her hand, but Kallisti didn't move forward, " How do you do? " she asked softly, and with another giggle.

" It is a fine pleasure to meet a coupe as educated as yourself in the midst of winter, " Her gaze met Kallisti's own, " You especially, my dear Miss Lein. It makes one proud to know that there are many people who are familiar enough with the lieder of Schubert. " It was, indeed, and there were also not many who were able to sing the Ave Maria with such perfection and clarity, " You may simply call me . . . Olivia. " Olivia, what an interesting name . . . It was certainly not one that was used commonly anymore, no longer popular.

She recalled that name, from once, long ago, perhaps on a day much like this one.

" Your eyes are like Lorinda's, you know. " Upon hearing that name, Kallisti's whole person faltered. Lorinda, that god-forsaken woman . . . Miss Olivia had acquaintance with her? No doubts came up in Kallisti's mind about Miss Olivia - it was certain that she was from the same circle that her family ran through, they had, indeed, crossed paths before, somewhere, some time ago, " . . . Ravensview if she ever decided to leave the Academy, which would be an armageddon for us all, truly. " . . . Leave the Academy - she is here? A teacher? Administrator? Or . . . Oh, this that was that Academy . . .

She peered behind her to Harley, checking his face for any signs of surprise about hearing their grandmother's name. A small hope there was in her heart that he was just as clueless as her, but one glance into his eyes told her otherwise - he knew that she was here, and he had been keeping it from her.

Her head tilted as she faced Olivia once more, " It is lovely to meet you, Miss Olivia. " she said in a calm voice, no longer being unguarded, " I did not know that you were acquainted with Lorinda. You might have guessed, of course, how could you not, that she is our grandmother. I . . . did not know that she was a present figure at this Academy, for as you see, we attended Bellhurst in Coy City. "

Kallisti was no longer so sure about attending Brookridge.

xxxxxxxxxx Harley knew, from the moment they had set foot in this room, that Olivia wasn't just a normal-classed citizen. Her family probably rode in the same circle as his and Kallisti's, and he would haven't been surprised if they'd seen each other a few times in their younger years. She seemed fragile, a bit like a snowflake, really, and her verbosity was unusual for someone her age, and the elegance that poured from her atmosphere was second to only Kallisti herself. There was no way they hadn't met before.

Upon her mentioning Lorinda, Harley saw Kallisti's body flinch - but just barely, Olivia wouldn't have noticed it, and he wondered how this girl knew their grandmother - their malicious grandmother, excuse him. What was she to Olivia? A teacher, mentor? Probably. He'd forgotten something though, and he had kind of forgotten it on purpose; Lorinda was the headmaster of Brookridge. She'd probably made it so that he and Kallisti attended, along with all of the other people in the email. Did she even know about it?

" Mr. Jackson, " Olivia started, catching his attention, " you have not uttered a single word since your arrival with Miss Lein. Or am I simply too indescribably for your tastes? " Harley almost laughed at that last bit, but then he remembered his burned in manners from childhood, " I am very much interested in your voice, you know. How one presents themselves - the very soul of their being - is emitted in fractions by how they word things. And I am rather positive that you, Mr. Jackson, must have a sou and voice as lovely as your cousin's. "

Oh, this chick was a riot, but he didn't comment on that, " Gotta apologize for shattering your image of me, but fine breeding was never really my thing. " he replied easily, " I do hope you'll forgive me. " Aunt Lilith would be so proud of him.

He looked at Kallisti after she had spoken, and then Olivia offered them on a walk, " That sounds like a fantastic idea. " he replied, and his cousin shot him a look, she was wary now that Lorinda was in the picture, " Yes, I do think we're interested. " And we're very interested in you, he added, but only in his mind.

" Lead the way. " he told her, motioning towards the door, " And perhaps you can tell us a bit about Lorinda. I'll say, we're both pretty surprised that you know her. " Wasn't that the truth . . .

"It looks like I have a change of plans...I'll be heading out to Brookbridge
"But boss, we only got here"
"Ah yes, how inconsiderate of me, you guys were all looking forward to entering Coy...you guys can stay and have fun..I'll head off and stay in contact"
"Ah Brookbridge...how long has it been since I've last took steps in here" said the voice of the black hair teen as he walked on nonchalantly into the academy. It had been so very long since he took the steps into a school and the ting of nostalgia entered the teen's mind. Strings were pulled and the teen was let into the school, despite his little disappearance.
All in all Zeke really was having a blast. As he walked down the halls something interesting entered his ears that caused Zeke to stop walking.
"Umm, sorry if I'm wrong, but did you happen to get an email from someone going by 'Crestatia'?"
What complete and utter fools, wasn't one of the rules to make sure not to have anybody know about the little princess? The spoke of the princess out in the open where anybody could mistakenly hear them. Letting out a small chuckle Zeke merely listened on to what they had to say. The girl spoke of the death of certain individuals, this only led the teen to believe that the girl was there for the murders and had witnessed it for their own eyes. After all there had to be no other way. If somebody like himself who had kept tabs on all the deaths occurring in Coy City could not differentiate who had died because of Crestatia and who had died normal deaths...well there is only one way she could have known and that was to have been there.
Soon enough the discussion was over and the two went their separate ways in the cafeteria. Watching the two Zeke merely entered the cafeteria with a big grin. He scanned the area and noticed the boy that spoke earlier. "Perfect" Zeke said still smiling as he walked up from behind and placed his arm around Ace's neck playfully "hey buuuuddy, can we talk for a bit?" Zeke said happily

"So Alyssa, you going to the Youth Music Contest?" Lisa (sitting next to Alyssa) asked.
"Probably not Lis, I still want to find my way around the academy first." She replied.
"Ok. Do you want someone to record our performance?"
Alyssa sighed, "Sure."
"OK. The contest ends at 8:30 pm, so I should be back by 10 pm."
"Alright, hope you win!" Alyssa said as Lisa and the rest of the Black Angels got up, disposed of the remains of their breakfast, and walked out of the cafeteria.
Then she thought about what Ace asked her, was there someone named Ace on the list?

"Hey buuuuddy, can we talk for a bit?" An unfamiliar voice asked. When Ace looked up, he saw a guy with black hair and piercing eyes.
Then Ace looked back at his friends, where one of them pointed at the stranger and mouthed "Ask who he is".
Then Ace thought about what he said to Alyssa, was it a different Alyssa Hunter that got the email? Was the Alyssa he was talking to lying?
Then he remembered he printed out a copy of the email and the list of everyone who got it, and he replied to the stranger, "Uhhh, OK. But first, who are you?"
