Vanille woke up that gray morning, practically snuggled in Harley's lap. How embarrassing! She had to wiggle out of his protective hold in order not to wake him, but had somehow managed to do it. So far, everyone still seemed to be alive. A new girl had appeared, a blonde with blue eyes and fair skin. She was pretty. Was she one of them, too?

Haha. One of them. They weren't mutants or anything - buuuuut considering what had happened, they might as well have been. Outcasts from the world, abandoned by God. By Buddha. By every other major god she could think of. What was gonna happen now? It'd be a lie for her to say she wasn't at least a little scared, but she knew that she had to suck it up. If Vanilla Frosty was anything, it was a survivor.

She found a mirror on the other side of the loft and went to look at herself in it. Aaaaah, her face . . . Her small, slender fingers ran up to trail down her cheek where the blindingly obvious X-mark was. The rest of her tattoos were on her torso and back, so they were all hidden by her frilly cream dress. She looked tired. Her eyes were a little bloodshot. Even her dress looked tired! It needed to go; she'd not be able to get anything accomplished in this frilly thing . . .

Pretty much everyone else around her was asleep, so she tore off the dress.

Hidden underneath was a pair of black, spandex shorts with a utility belt attached to it. Her slim belly was revealed and then her chest was covered by a thick wrapping of white bandages, in which an assort of small knives were stashed. She shook out her hair and then grabbed a hairband from seemingly nowhere and pulled up her short, semi-long hair into a bun.

She sighed, and the childish look that always seemed to have itself settled on her face kind of . . . disappeared. Whatever was coming, she would be ready for it.

Vanille began to search around for Theodore Weldon, wondering if he had gone back to his own room or not. That would have been preeeeeeetty crappy if he did, leaving the rest of them in the slightly-uncomfortable loft, but she checked around before finding him awake on one of the balconies. He hadn't slept all night?!

You're still awake. she said from next to him, Why?

It seemed far too dark outside for the morning time, and when her eyes had first opened, she wondered if it had been the middle of the night. She was sitting straight up on the couch, and in her lap was Madeline's head, sleeping still, breathing softly. Kallisti bit her lip.

Come to think of it . . . She hadn't truly been angry or upset with Madeline at all. It was this game, it was Crestatia . . . And some of the others, of course. She hated people, it was just a natural thing, but these people . . . She had once wanted to be close with all of them, to be friends with all of them, but only one person could win this game; only one person could come into true existence.

To be honest, Kallisti didn't know if she wanted that or not. If she did indeed win, that means Madeline wouldn't be with her, and how badly did she really want to win, anyway? It would be absolutely fantastic to get far, sure, but what was it worth, in the end? Everyone else in this game would be dead. She would have killed a few of them herself.

Her final resolve was to survive as long as she could, and no one, not even the wretched Crestatia, could ask her for anymore.

She looked down at the soft, sleeping face. Madeline was very pretty . . . And a little too thin. Kallisti had noticed that about her, not too long ago. What did she intend to gain by being this skinny? She would be far more pretty with a little more meat on her, and far more healthy. Hmhm . . . Kallisti leaned down and kissed her on the forehead.

Off, not too far away, she saw a half-naked Vanille walking onto a balcony. Gently, Kallisti raised Madeline's head and laid it on a cushion from the couch. Someone had given them all blankets overnight, and since it was a tad too cold in the loft ( due to most of the mirrors being shattered ), Kallisti draped hers onto Madeline and then gave a wide stretch. After the hectic events of last night, she felt a little sore and wished she had a change of clothing, too.

She wondered if Marina was still alive.

You had better still be alive, you fool.
If you don't mind, tell me what this plan of yours is.
I'm quite interested in it, and your well-being.
    - Quin

She sighed as she set her phone down and looked at herself in a mirror after grabbing an apple. She was tired.

Thomas continued to sleep as the others began to stir in the other rooms. However thirty minutes later he was too restless, he was itching to explore now. Theodore would give them a safe little tour right? To past the time? Maybe? He sat and rubbed his eyes before placing his glasses correctly on his face, it wouldn't hurt to ask the heir to Antilum. Maybe Mr. Weldon wanted a new photographer for a project...maybe he could even be sent out of state or country even, photographing things for the lab. Thomas was grinning as he slipped into his shoes, first thing's first though, time to check on Maddy, and maybe have that talk with her. He went back to the place with food immediately. Quietly he checked Madeline's sleeping form before moving on to the fixing of his breakfast plate.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

John woke up and simply layed in bed, staring up at the ceiling even though his stomach asked him to take care of himself. He sighed and tied his beads around his wrist so that they fit securely, then he stood up and went through the motions of finding a rest room and using it. He didn't bother eating though, he wasn't very hungry, he had some new thinking to do. And some new plans to make, this winning was starting to look a little easier. But still, he sat down and began to review all that he knew and remembered and had heard. There were still gaps in his memory banks, mostly the things that happened after his death. He would need to find some prey and squeeze the information out of them if need be.

He held his back straight and etched his face back into cool indifference as he entered the most populated room.

So many new faces and so many old. He wondered who he'd have to kill to get another pack of cigarettes around here. He laughed at the morbid joke and began to use his his head to focus on a filling breakfast. He would have to speak with Cherno. Soon.

Thankfully, nothing out of the ordinary happened over night. Theodore had lost a bit of his steam after a few hours passed and had nearly fallen asleep. At that point, he left the balcony and reentered the loft. Just a few students had found themselves somewhere to sleep there, so he left and headed into the still-functioning elevator and down to the sleeping quarters (no, there are no beds on the 25th floor you sillies) to check on the kids there.

Finally, he returned to the balcony with a blanket and a cup of hot coffee, curling into the chair and keeping watch for the rest of the night, alone. His mind wandered dully, and his eyes stayed fixed on the distance, where the smoke was still spiraling up into the sky. He checked his phone a couple of times to see if Marina had responded, only to be disappointed every time.

The sun rose and melted away a few clouds, (the smoke remaining and darkening the sky), and a high-pitched voice rang out behind him. His eyes followed the young girl until she was beside him. It was a bit of a delayed reaction due to tiredness, but upon noticing that she was wearing...turned his face away.

    You're still awake. Why?

Good morning...What was your name, again? He smiled, clutching the empty coffee cup to his chest, knowing it would not warm him anymore. With a shrug he replied, I was just looking out for ... any bombs, I guess. Or anything else. Have you eaten? Today is bound to be a long day, so...

Marina shivered under the piles of blankets on the floor. It was hard and uncomfortable. She strained her back as she stood up. The comforter fell to her feet and a chill ran down her spine. There were too many openings in the house to stay warm. She needed to leave. The sooner she found that masked woman, the better. Would she still be there?

She tiptoed to the bathroom and quickly ran a brush through her disheveled hair. The ends were still scorched and in need of a trimming. It would have to wait until she knew death was not around the corner. When it was manageable, she pulled it into a low hanging bun and moved back into the bedroom. Marina felt guilty taking things from this recently deceased family, but they no longer existed--they never existed to begin with. It was something she had to keep telling herself over and over again as she rifled through their things. It did not help ease the guilt much, though. When she was ready, she had pulled on a large brown winter coat, white boots to match the gray sweats, mittens, a hat, a scarf, and a backpack to stow away her own possessions.

Marina picked her phone up from under the pile. A small green light was flashing at the top of the phone, signify a missed alert. When she unlocked the screen, it revealed two new text messages. One from Theodore, and one from Kallisti. The latter was a bit of a surprise. She opened the first one, seeing that it was from last night in response to the message she sent him.

She smiled at the message. How ridiculous he was. Marina sighed before tapping open the message from Kallisti.
Ah, right. She preferred Quintus now, did she not? Marina wondered what happened the last time around that she had addressed herself as Kallisti, but deemed it irrelevant as of right now. Best to respond I suppose. As she walked out the front door of the house, saying a prayer for the family in the living room, she wrote up a reply to the both of them.

She tucked the phone into her pocket and headed down the street. The city was in an uproar. Destruction was everywhere. Smoke burned her lungs as she moved further and further into the chaos. It was only a matter of time. . .

Good morning . . . What was your name, again?

Vanille cocked her head to the side, but really didn't blame him for not remembering. Last night was the first time they'd ever talked, and with everything that happened . . .

Vanille. she replied as brightly as possible. He looked tired. Maybe he should sleep.

I was just looking out for . . . any bombs, I guess. Or anything else. Have you eaten? Today is bound to be a long day, so . . .

She shrugged in return. ❝Nope, haven't eaten yet. I can go a while without it. Ironically, her tummy grumbled quietly at her, and she recalled the last time she ate anything substantial. The night before last. Agh, she'd forgotten to eat yesterday! She palmed her eye sockets slightly violently, as if trying to knock it into her brain that she needed to eat at least once every day.

We're not gonna be able to stay here forever. she murmured uncharacteristically, Others will be looking for us, and once they get wind that most of us are cooped up in here, they'll be after us . . . It was a scary thought, but she could survive. There wasn't really much to say for the other though. She scrunched up her nose at their lack of abilities.

We should all get food and talk about our next move. she said, patting him on the head playfully and smiling.

After a dreamless sleep, Madeline's eyes fluttered open to the couch cushions. She twisted and stared up at the ceiling quietly for a few moments as last night's events resurfaces in her memory. Her fingers clutched softly at the blankets that enveloped her body and her toes wiggled in her heels. Heels...Heels would not be good for running, assuming they would have to. A headache started up and Madeline sighed with exasperation, pulling herself up into a sitting position and stretching upwards. She would have to ask Theodore if he had some more...suitable clothes.

Her stomach rumbled and she wrapped her arms around it, leaning her head back on the couch and catching a glimpse of a tall, dark-haired boy with glasses eating something. He was alright. That was good. It didn't look like anything had happened over night. Madeline twisted to her right, looking for the remote control.

The news channel was still there and, rightfully, still on the topic of the bombs. New information had been released. Something about anyone who helped them being killed, and about a meeting being held to determine the most humane method of finding them. Tweets and Facebook statuses scrolled across the bottom of the screen, all with different levels of enthusiasm and different opinions on the situation. Madeline felt nauseous. The feeling of dread swelled up again when the list of 'targets' flashed up on the screen again. Jeeze. They certainly weren't being very subtle for supposedly still 'debating' whether or not to go on a manhut.

Before doing anything else, she sleepily pulled her phone out from her non-existent cleavage and sent a text to Tempurpedic Mattress.

When sent, Madeline rested her palms on her kneecaps and bit down on her bottom lip for a moment before standing and turning around. She walked towards the food table, nodding once to acknowledge Thomas' presence, smiling and fixing herself some fruit.

"Good morning, Thomas." Her voice was low. When she was done greeting him, she turned away and began the search for Theodore, walking past Quin in the process. Her heart. "Good morning, Quin." Also a murmur. Madeline didn't linger--she could not linger. The balcony door was open, so that's where Thomas--GAH--Theodore probably was.

Her heels clicked annoyingly loud against the tile as she diva strutted to the balcony. The little mask girl was there. Madeline didn't like her. Why didn't she like her, again?--Oh, right. She ignored her. Little skank. So, the blonde ignored whatever they were going on about and butted in without warning.

"Theodore. Have you any clothes we could change into?"

It was just like all the other times. The memories never seemed to go away. Every night it was the same. She would close her eyes for bed and they would come flooding back. She was falling down the stairs. Her body bounced off of each step until she was on the linoleum and her head hit the front door. She was stiff and sore. Every time it seemed worse. Going to sleep was a nightmare, literally. Her father's touch gave her shivers and she woke up screaming.

Temperance bolted upright, panting. She was drenched in a cold sweat and shaking. She had been trying so hard to make the night terrors go away. There was no doubt Madeline had heard her over the last month. Every night was the same thing. She looked at the alarm clock and sighed. Was everyone all right?

She laid back down and pulled the covers over her head. She was reluctant to fall back asleep, but eventually managed it after another hour and a half.

When Temperance woke again, the sky was lighter but still gray out. Black smoke clouded the morning sky and she crawled out of bed. She was still exhausted from her nightmare. It had come back when she fell asleep the second time. There was just no escaping reality and there was no one she could tell. The feeling of being alone was terrifying. It had been bad before, and now it was even worse. She reached for her phone on the nightstand. There was only one message. Despair was starting to sink in rather early. She opened the message from Madeline and sighed heavily.

Temperance shook her head. Obviously she was still alive. She wouldn't have texted the bitch back had she not remained alive. However, Madeline at least seemed to strangely semi-care. Maybe she should return the favor? Her finger hovered over the reply button and she rolled her eyes. Not this time, at least. Bitchy and cynical was how she lived her life. That wasn't changing quite yet.

Everyone--she didn't care about everyone. She only cared about someone. Was he alive? He never responded. Temperance wiped away a few stray tears that had already managed to form just thinking about it. She dove back into her bed and curled up. She was done playing. Her hand felt under the pillow for the pill bag and pulled it out in front of her.

Vanille was right, mostly, but he was still agitated (probably more because of his lack of sleep than because of her). They were such an eager, impulsive bunch that funnily enough seemed to get nothing done, ever. Before he could reply to her, the blonde skeleton appeared, frowning at him.

Clothes? Yeah.He sighed and pulled the blanket off from his shoulders, standing up and walking past both Vanille and ...the other one until he was back in the loft. Great, they really were starting to wake up.

Listen up! I, um, recommend getting some food in your stomach. I'll order up something fresh from the kitchens. When you have finished eating, you are free to relax or shower and change clothes on the eleventh floor...Please, don't run off, alright? I mean, you're free to go, but...Be intelligent about it, please. ...Also, don't meddle. I am trusting all of you not to -- um -- ... Not to loiter around Antilum. It's not safe. You may end up seeing...things...you really don't want to see, so, keep that in mind. If you need me, most of you have my number.

Theodore's head was pounding. He didn't know what else to say, so he turned away and exited the loft, heading to the eleventh floor to wake anyone who was not already up while calling in an order for a variety of breakfast foods to be brought to the loft.

The voice caused her to stir from the uncomfortable position in which she was sleeping on the chair. Bernadette pulled the blanket to her chin. She didn't remember having it when she fell asleep. Had someone placed it on her while she slept? Bernie readjusted so that she was sitting upright and stretched her body out. Her back popped in a few places and her feet touched the ground. Bernie slipped her feet back into the boots and glanced around at everyone in the room. From what she had seen last night, loitering didn't seem like something she was interested in doing to begin with. This building was huge. Someone could easily get lost without even trying. She did not want to be one of those people.

Bernie pulled her coat tightly around her body and slipped the laptop out of the case. The news was still playing on the television, but she was interested in the other things. She scrolled through pages of status updates and forum postings. Bernadette had to use the translator a few times for some of the slang. The outlook was grim. She huffed and shut the computer. Bernie brushed the hair out of her face and pulled it aside into a braid.

Somewhere in the distance, a whistling noise is heard. After a few moments of silence, Antilum trembles--as if there is a sudden violent earth quake. This time lasts much longer than the last.
    1, 2, 3--four massive explosions ring out.
A few seconds pass and three more bombs are heard falling, this time sounding a bit different. The sky goes dark.

Theodore stood outside of the elevator, about to descend but then...of course. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM, EARTHQUAKES BOMBS. Okay. He hit the floor, hard and clutched his head, hoping that Antilum wasn't being bombed directly. Jesus this was taking a while. He hated to admit it, but despite his cynicism, he was kind of terrified. When the trembling stopped, he stood and ran back to the loft.

Change of plans. We're going to have to move und-undergr...

Theodore turned away, and held his hand to his mouth. Something was wrong. He shook his head and swallowed down hard, beginning to sweat.

...We're going underground. I'd avoid the elevator, but it's our only option. I'll let you all go down first. Hit 'T' on the elevator pad. You'll have to type in a code: 459216--Don't mess that up or you'll end up trapped. The pod will open. Go down as far as you can into the tunnels, alright? You should be safe there. I'll take a second pod down to grab everyone else from floor eleven. Hurry.

He didn't wait, turning away from the group and heading to elevator shaft.

More people were beginning to wake up, and it appeared that their host hadn't slept at all last night. She knew paranoia was abound, but staying up all night had been a foolish move. Still, with them all being in Antilum, it was more than a bad idea to speak up against him.

Madeline had woken up in a rather good mood, and Kallisti smiled at her short greeting. She checked her phone to see that Marina had replied. Hmm.

    A fool am I?
I suppose that sounds fairly accurate.
I am currently still alive as you can tell.
I plan to face whomever this woman may be.
I do not think it is Crestatia, but whomever it may be wants us,
and I do not intend to wait for a mob to find us.
    Take care,
    ~Lady Marina

I'd appreciate it if you kept me posted.
Curious to see if your trek is worthwhile, as I may just make it myself.
If anything goes on here, I'll be sure to message you on our status.
Best of luck to you, fool. The rest of the court will be waiting for your return.

After discovering that showering and clothing would be on the eleventh floor, she ripped off what was left of her tanned pantyhose and left the loft, taking the elevator down. Quiet music played over the speaker and it was good to know that Antilum was still running smoothly for the time being. She couldn't remain here long; none of them could. They would have to prepare ahead for the worst case scenario; being on the run.

She wondered how many of them were training in fighting and lethal weaponry. It was an extremely uncommon thing in this day and age, and she herself had no fighting skill whatsoever - but, she was fairly decent with a bow.

About half and hour later, she was drying off her hair and slipping into a pair of black leggings, dark gray running shorts, and a black shirt. She looked at her discarded dress longingly. It was very pretty, wasn't it? It was a shame she no longer needed it . . . Perhaps she would take it back to the loft and stash it with her coat and shoes. Theodore had said not to wander about too much, but she was curious to see what kind of experiments they ran in this giant, modern laboratory. Perhaps some exploring would do her well later.

Surely they would have weapons in this building, wouldn't they? It was a bit silly, and maybe she was getting worked up over nothing, but she'd rather be armed with something she was at least competent with using. She had proven that competence by ending Abigail Rider's life. Not that she cared about that, anymore. She'd come to find that she rather disliked Abigail anyway for her too-soft personality and dislike of confrontation. Weak girl.

The food had already been properly delivered when Kallisti returned to the loft, and she fixed herself a decent plate of breakfast foods and a mug of hot tea. After eating, she spoke to one of the servants about weaponry in the building, and he looked at her with extreme suspicion, " Yes, I do intend to kill every human being in this building . . . with a bow. " she had told him sarcastically, and he looked at her with disgust, only making her smile smugly.

The servant had decided against telling her anything and she shrugged, making a note to ask Theodore before the day was out. Crestatia, if you have any sort of benevolence in you - and I suspect you don't - then you'll be willing to strike a bargain with me when the time comes.

Suddenly, Antilum shook violently after a distant whistling sound was heard. Oh, no. The bombs were staring up again - this was not good. Not good. They were on the twenty-fifth floor, and if the bomb hit near this building, surely it would come crashing down. She suddenly had little faith in its steely-looking architecture. Trying to keep her nerves, she looked frantically around the room to see Harley ( freshly showered ) grab Vanille from the balcony and start directing everyone to get away from the windows. They couldn't stay up here.

Outside the windows, the sky goes dark, and - oh. This wasn't looking good at all. That bow sounded nice right now, not that she'd be able to do anything with it. Probably.

Theodore told them they had to use the elevators. Haha. She had a REALLY bad feeling about using them, but what choice did they have? Kallisti was hurrying out of the loft with Harley and Vanille behind her. Before she was completely gone, she urgently called for Madeline to hurry along with them. They reached the elevators and stepped inside them, waiting just a few minutes for anyone else who was going to hurry.

He'd heard them before he'd felt them. Harley thought they were going to have just a bit of a break this morning, but apparently not. At least he'd gotten in a shower and a bit of food before they all had to run off before they were killed.

He, Kallisti and Vanille had gotten into and elevator with whoever else had decided to join them and then Vanille, who seemed to have the best memory of all of them, pressed the 'T' button and then the exact code that Theo had given them, 459216.

This was obviously the beginning of hell. After this, nothing was going to be the same, and they were all going to have to survive - with or without each other. Every man for himself? He liked those odds. Surviving on his own wouldn't be too hard and he wasn't worried about himself; it was some of the others, like Vanille he was worried for.

He sighed as the elevator started to go down. There was a tense and heavy silence in the pod elevator, but as long as it was moving, Harley didn't care about the conversation. Theo said something about going underground, didn't he? Underground would be safer, for sure.

It was quiet when the elevator opened . . . And a little cold. Antilum wasn't normal so Harley didn't know what to expect when they got down there. Just like the kid told them to, they walked down the tunnels waiting for something else to happen.

Before he was able to greet the others, Elliot was thrown off balance. He caught himself on a couch, turning his gaze to the windows. It was a good thing they were already blown out now, for there would be no worries about the glass. Still, that hardly meant they were safe where they were. Underground. Right, that would be safest.

And as if on cue Theodore had started to say the same thing. Elliot moved to the elevator, already knowing how to get to their desired stop. Was Theo really waiting behind though? He had to if he was to get the rest... And he knew the labs the best so surely he'd be safe. Still...he worried. "If it gets worse, forget the rest and get to safety," he said to his friend, waiting a few moments so others could board the elevator.

Three more joined him, causing him to feel as if that would be enough not to be considered selfish so they could go now because he really detested the idea of waiting here for too long. Though he didn't even have to be the one to type in the code, for someone else beat him to the punch. Oh, well that was wonderful. They made it to the tunnels without incident and once he entered them he turned back to face the entrance, hoping to see Theodore coming down soon.

Madeline took a deep breath and finished eating, rolling his eyes at Theodore. So awkward. It was kind of cute, but not enough to dismiss her irritation. She found herself wanting to know more about him, though. About how he had spent his days before this game. At least he was trying, though. So she took some time to eat and then, a bit after Quintus disappeared, too a journey down to floor eleven. It was nice. This whole place was nice. Neat, modern, sleek. A little creepy, with everything being so dark, but.

She found one of the spare rooms, stripped and got into the shower. It was nice. Once finished, she stepped out and searched the large, clean room until she got to a wardrobe with...too many clothes in it. She picked something out and then returned to the loft, just in time for everything to go COMPLETELY TO HELL.

BACK TO THE ELEVATOR THEY WENT. She motioned towards Thomas and John to hurry their butts and ran into the pod with Quin's beckoning. The little girl typed in the code and they reached the tunnels. Perfect.

The closer she got to the destruction, the harder it was becoming to breathe. Marina covered her mouth with the scarf and stepped over a log from a fallen tree. The street was littered with rubble and she stumbled a few times from chaos. Buildings were burning and falling to pieces. She rubbed her mitten covered hands together to keep her fingers warm. She could see her breath as she walked. The smoke burned her throat and nostrils. She could see the section from the video, but as she came near, a ringing noise burned her eardrums. Marina fell to the ground as the bombing continued. She covered her head and took shelter under a rogue tree. The ground below her shook and she curled up into a ball until it was through. Things were only getting worse. With a shaky breath, she pulled herself up and continued forward. This needed to end now. There was no more waiting. The roads were deep with holes and buildings were demolished. Her phone beeped, but there was no time to check.

Marina searched for the street sign, and saw it about a block away. Was the woman still here? She really hoped so. This would have been a very great waste of time otherwise. Where had those bombs struck? What was happening with the others? She bit down on her lip as she eased herself between two torched cars.

Bernadette dropped to the floor during the bombing. Things were only getting worse outside. Was it really because of all of them? When it ended, Theodore instructed them to head underground. He said to use the elevator pods. That made no sense. Everything she had ever learned was to take stairs in the event of a disaster, not elevators. She tossed the shoulder strap of her laptop case over her shoulder and exited the room after the dark-haired boy. 459216. 459216. 459216, she repeated to herself over and over again. Her feet pounded heavily against the hallway floor until she reached the elevator pod. She pressed the down button and got inside. "4-5-9-2-1-6," she said out loud as her finger pressed down on each of the buttons. Bernie tapped her foot impatiently as the door slid shut.

Bernie waited nervously until the door opened up into the tunnel. She stepped out of the pod and walked further inside. It would be safer if she got away from the elevator. She gathered near some of the others that were already down there and breathed a sigh of relief. Hopefully they would be safe down here.

When the ground began to shake once more, Temperance clutched the bed in panic. After it ended, she knew she had to get out of the room. She was on the fifth floor. How many more tremors could the dorm handle before it started to crumble? The room was already beginning to see signs of destruction as things crashed to the floor and broke. Quickly, she slipped into a pair of jeans and grabbed her coat and boots. She needed to get out of the dorm room. She ran down the staircase and to the first floor. Temperance didn't know if the school had a storm shelter so remaining inside seemed dangerous. She ran outside until she reached the gardens and took shelter under a tree. It was cold out there, but it seemed safer than being inside.

Heidi woke when the bed began to rumble. Nurse Josephine came rushing into the room and began to undo the straps on her bed. "Wh-what's going on?"

"The bombings are getting worse dear. We have to move downstairs. They want everyone that can walk to do so." her voice was rushed and nervous. Josephine unhooked her arm from the IV and helped Heidi to her feet. It had been awhile since she was last standing. She stumbled at first, but the nurse steadied her. "Quickly, we have to go right now." As they entered the hall, Heidi noticed that the other rooms were being evacuated as well. There were people in wheelchairs and beds being pushed through the halls. The elevators were reserved for those that couldn't walk, so Josephine dragged Heidi down the many flights of stairs until they reached the lower levels of the hospital.

Cherno had been out for a while, but these explosions brought him back to life.
Realizing the situation, he ran off and waited for one of the elevators.
Oh he needed a passcode. Okay. Time to wait.
Shame he couldn't text anyone right now.
BUT WAIT. He bumped into that cynical kid with the blushy cheeks and the green eyes. What was his name again? Threnody? He bumped into Threnody who was apparently related to this Antlium place and decided to go down with him.
He tried calling out to Ben but he just ... wouldn't wake up. Shoot. Shoot. They would have to come back for him. He didn't want to lose the guy again ...
On his way, Cherno took out his phone and was finally able to reply to Temperance. He apologized for the delay, as he had been in a deep coma and had a dream similar to the one all those days ago, when he had come after her at her father's home. He is much better now, but his eye is still patched. He said they were underground in the labs and asked Temperance if she could make it, while uproariously commenting on making sure she was safe and alright.

Olivia realized the problem and noted that she couldn't stay here for long.
Kicking open Elliot's loose window, she, now a bird again due to all of the ridiculous events that had still occurred in time, spread her wings and flew far, far off. Off by the side, a few components of Elliot's phone lay pecked loose on the table. With Viola's robotics still intact in this timeline - at the expense of other things - she was thankful that she could access Elliot's phone through a microphone from an enormous distance.

John didn't bother talking, instead keeping up with their group and descending in the pod with the group until it was time to exit. In which case he did.

Thomas followed suit and went with their little crowd. Praying softly that his family and friends would be okay and find shelter like he was lucky enough to. He strode after John when the pod opened.
