Nurse Josephine slipped into the room. Heidi perked her head up and noticed that the woman in beige scrubs appeared as if she had been crying. What was wrong with her? The mascara was smeared around her eyes and they were puffy red underneath. Did it have something to do with the tremor? "J-Jose...phine...?" she asked weakly. The nurse shook her head and moved to the IV.

"Everything is--everything is fine, Heidi." her voice faltered. "It's time for you to go to sleep." She injected a clear liquid into the line and flipped a light switch. Doctor Mayers came in after and was speaking in hushed tones with the nurse. Heidi's eyes drooped heavily as the sleeping aid began to take effect.

Doctor Mayers pulled Nurse Josephine over by the window and faced away from the girl strapped to the bed. "You saw it right?"

"Of course I did," she sniffled. "What do you expect us to do? She's our patient. We can't just hand her over to whatever is going on. She's sick."

He slumped his shoulders and rubbed at the back of his neck. Heidi had managed to see the news report. Images of the burning streets still played on the television. Was that what they were talking about? If she could reach the phone, she could call Casey. Casey might know something. She didn't know anything here. She was cut off from everyone else. However, it was too far away and she had limited mobility. "We should contact the police." His voice was filled with anguish and conflict.

"Doc...tor... Mayers? Nursssse Josssephine?" Staying awake was becoming increasingly difficult. She was starting to slur her words. Doctor Mayers turned back around and sighed heavily. His whole aura looked dim. Josephine exited the room quietly as he approached her.

"Good night Heidi." He turned off the television before walking out of the room as well. she had no time to dwell on the odd conversation before the medication took full effect and put her to sleep.

Things were happening. Before she knew it, the wind had been knocked out of her as Thomas protectively wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her down under the table. Disoriented, Madeline laid underneath him, allowing him to be much too close for comfort while glass shattered, people yelled, alarms blared and some kind of massive explosion went off. Finally, after a bit of stillness, Thomas helped her back up. She brushed off her dress and shook her head back and forth, sending messy strands of blonde hair back and forth. Madeline screamed internally and her face went red--this time not of embarrassment.

"T-thank you," Quickly, she searched his face to make sure he wasn't injured and that she did not have to feel guilty before turning on her heel and heading off to the loft with the other's, just in time for some rhyming bag girl to pop up on the screen, followed by a list of names--some of which she did not recognize.

"This is ridiculous. You guys really ****ed up." Her eyes glared around the room, looking for someone in-particular who seemed to be gone. Good. She hoped Crestatia or whoever dropped a bomb on her next, assuming she was a good distance away.

Without bothering to say much else, or any I-told-you-so's, Madeline plopped down on the couch and sighed. Thomas lingered, like a dog. No, he was fairly independent outside of his infatuation. So, like a cat. She hated cats.

    Quin spoke.

" If any of you have anyone from your families that could help us - I'm mostly looking at the original students of Brookridge - phone them and ask if they are willing to help us. "

    Haha. Family.

Erk, her heart. She felt weird, so she shifted and leaned further back on the couch just as she felt her phone vibrate against her chest. She reached into her dress uncharacteristicly shameless and pulled the phone out. Oh. Temperbitch.

    What did you guys do?
    Cherno isn't texting me back.
    What's going on in town?
    -Temperance

Cherno. Pffff. She wouldn't have bothered to send her a message had it not been for him. Typical. Madeline glanced around the room for the brooding boy before rolling her eyes. Her thumb lingered on the screen of the phone. ...So tempting. Apart of her had some terrible urge to reply back that they had summoned the demon and Cherno was dead.

    ...Hmm...

She typed up a reply and slipped her phone back into her dress.

Elliot found no reason to remain there so he left the area. After finding things to use for his wounds he grabbed them before moving to a room with a bed. He tended to the burns that covered a good part of his lower body, finding the ones near his feet the worst out of them. The rest weren't bad but it would be difficult to walk around for a while. What a shame.

Once they were properly tended to and bandaged the boy laid down and went to sleep.

Bronagh walked out of the bathroom holding her head as she walked over to her bed and sat down. It was a stupid thing she was doing, sitting around when there were potentially people after her. She hoped that she would feel a little better in the morning if she slept now.

Bronagh layed down on the bed with the news still live streaming in the background. She hooked her phone up to a charger and drank another sip of water and had another dose of medicine before she fell asleep listening to the "Top Story of Tonight!" even though it was the last thing she really wanted to listen to at that moment.

As others began to find other rooms to be in, Ben found his eyelids growing heavier. He wouldn't normally just fall asleep, but it was an emergency situation now, right? Before he could think any more on the subject, he had fully fallen asleep.

Temperance sat on the floor silently until her phone beeped. She was a ball of blanket in the hallway and the glow of her phone illuminated the small space under the covers. It was a reply from Madeline. How...peachy...

Obviously. Who else would it be?
Why would they do something so stupid? Hadn't they learned from the previous encounters with Crestatia that it would only mean bad news? She should have gone. She was here all alone while they were all together destroying things. All alone--it's how she was meant to live her life, alone.

Oh... Oh, that made sense. He was hurt. He wouldn't reply because he was hurt. Tears started to well up inside her and her chest ached. She should have been there, like all the times he had been there for her. That night on her father's doorstep flashed across her mind. Not now. Now wasn't the time to think about it. Temperance choked back a sob as she kept reading.

He wasn't going to make it. After everything they went through, he wouldn't make it. Why did she come down here? She should have stayed in her room. It was so public out here. She couldn't take her tablet down here. Everything was in her room. Why does it matter to you, though? Why did it matter to her? Why did it matter to Madeline that she knew? He was the only one she talked to. Obviously he would be the one she contacts first. Tears rolled down her face and dripped off her chin, splashing against the touchscreen. He--he was dying. He was dying and she was here. How terrible was she?

She wanted to be done with this game. She wanted to be done with it a long time ago. What was the point now, if he was dying? There was no way she could make it across town in time. If he was that bad, he would be dead by the time she got there. She couldn't see him dead. She couldn't look at another dead body. Suddenly, she felt warm, wet, and sticky all over again. Temperance jumped out of the blanket, seeing herself covered in blood. It just wouldn't end. The nightmare would never end. There was only one way to make it stop--the nightmares, the loneliness, the pain, all of it. Her trembling fingers tapped a reply to Madeline as she picked up the blanket and began walking up the stairs and back to their dorm room.

Goddamn these burns . . . He was pretty sore, but after treating his wounds, he felt a little better. It had been a huge shock when he just kinda . . . sprung on fire. He sighed and saw Vanille come back into the loft, looking sullen and sad. Her face really was pretty, but he guessed he understood her pain.

It was getting late, and they all needed sleep and rest for whatever the hell was going to come soon. He knew something ****** was going to happen, the only trial to it happening was surviving it. It had better not turn into some Battle Royale shit, because he didn't feel like killing everyone.

Vanille had made her way over to him and tugged at his sleeve sleepily. He looked at her and sighed heavily; she looked just as bad as he felt. He grabbed his jacket from one of the chairs and draped it over her shoulders, leading her to one of the couches. There was going to be hell to pay later, and whoever that woman was . . .

Fuck, if Crestatia could ever pick a time to help her toys out, soon would be nice. Unless she was the one behind all of this. How much torture could she put all of them through? He was underestimating her, apparently. The lady was capable of more than just making them all combust - she was having the whole population of Earth after them.

He looked down at Vanille who was soundly asleep on his lap now. Man. None of them signed up for this, he thought to himself, laughing quietly. Lorinda had better be of some goddamned help, otherwise he didn't know what they would do.

Harley sighed heavily and closed his eyes, falling into an extremely light sleep.

Kallisti watched as her troubled cousin and the small girl, Vanille, curled up on a couch and fell asleep. How cute, she thought cynically, and then rolled her eyes.

She, too, was sleepy, and sleep did sound like a good idea, but she was on guard too much to get any decent rest. She could only hope that her grandmother would keep her word to help them out of this tight spot. At her side, she clutched her phone. Her tanned pantyhose were torn in several places and she could see the scars on her legs. She was really too tired to care about them, but it was a hope that no one else would spot them.

On another couch sat Madeline, looking just as cynical as she felt. Madeline had told them all, hadn't she? Kallisti hadn't said anything to her, or to any of the others when the summoning had started; now the regret was that she hadn't.

Shakily getting to her feet, Kallisti slowly walked over to the couch where Madeline sat, cautious of John and Thomas being around. She sat down.

Thomas seemed to be a bit like a dog, didn't he? She hated dogs. Him being praising of Madeline, thinking she could do no wrong, thinking that she was the most perfect was . . . annoying. There were, of course, some things that she could agree with him on about Madeline, but she did not like the fact that she had to. That there was someone else to agree on with things about Madeline.

She did not like Thomas and preferred it when everyone thought he was dead.

" I'm tired. " she said, just quiet enough for Madeline to hear. " This night has turned out to be a . . . disaster. Is there any chance of going back to the conference room and throwing ourselves out the window? " She was only half-joking. She had thought about it earlier, when she was in her moment of being abhorrent to the extreme, but now it seemed like a ridiculous, weak thought. It had been shameful for Kal to have scolded her.

He said what she already knew; she would never be so weak again.

He wasn't going to chase her--or anyone--down. If she was so sure on leaving so rashly, then fine. She was old enough to make her own decisions and would have to do what was right. Still, when Marina waved good bye to him he couldn't help but feel like he wouldn't...no, now wasn't the time to think that way. He had to be optimistic! So instead of feeling defeated, he rolled his shoulders and returned to the loft. A few people were missing now. Theodore's nose crinkled. These kids...They were pathetic. He looked around the loft. They were all just kind of lounging about, or trying to sleep.

Sure, it was late, but Theodore wasn't going to sleep. Not with bombs falling from space. Not with Marina out there by herself. Not with the world after them.

He walked back towards the pool table and pulled a seat out for himself, sitting and taking his phone from his pocket and dialing his father's number.

    The first time, no answer.

    The second time, no answer.

    The third time...

James. I...assume your party guests are still present?

Weird way to start out a conversation. He kept his voice low.

    Yes, father.

Good...You know the city is in a panic right now, searching for those on the list that were shown. The culprit has revealed pictures to go along with the names, along with additional information. Age, gender, last seen with...The city is being flooded with calls on your whereabouts. Luckily, they won't know where to start, with you. Did you see your name on that list?

    I did. Theodore James Weldon.

Did you see your name, James.

    ...What are you talking about?

A few moments of silence passed before the scientist spoke again.

As I said, they won't know where to start with you, therefore you should all be safe for the night. I will not be able to protect you for long. In fact, doing even this may or may not prove dangerous. The woman has stated that anyone seen or found helping or protecting you lot will be killed without warning. Obviously, there has been no proof yet, but...She does not seem like an ordinary woman.

Father...? How do you know who my 'guests' are?

Haha, as though I would allow total strangers into my labs. Of course I know their names.

Not much explanation, but it was typical.

This may be difficult for you to understand, but I would like you to at least think about giving them up. Your friends, I mean. Who's to say they aren't thinking the same about you? I know you are as self-righteous as they come, but consider it. Those who stay the night could very easily be turned in to the police, while you...

Theodore hung up the phone. He was disgusting. He stood and walked past the fireplace and television, sliding open the door the balcony and unintentionally slamming it as he walked out.

How dramatic...Wait, what did that mean, exactly? Done playing? What, was she going to just sit in their dorm all day and refuse to do anything? Or was she...She groaned quietly and typed a message back.

Temperance killing herself would be annoying. They still didn't know what the punishment for suicide was and for all Madeline knew, it could be that everyone else in the world dies and the people who try to kill themselves are the only ones left--or something ridiculous and terrible like that. Hopefully Temperance was intelligent enough not to risk it.

Quin sat beside her and Madeline had no energy to feel much of anything from it. She was happy, though. A little. Possibly. Tch.

    "
I'm tired. . . . This night has turned out to be a . . . disaster. Is there any chance of going back to the conference room and throwing ourselves out the window?"

She had just been mentally scolding Temperance for thinking of suicide, but Quin seemed to be mostly joking. Madeline smiled briefly and shrugged, staring up at one of the dim red lights still glowing above them. Creepy.

"...You've been different lately." Blunt of her. Too tired to filter. She glanced over her shoulder towards Thomas, still fighting sleep not too far from her. She lowered her voice while turning back. "Have you been angry with me?"

Madeline shrugged at her noir-natured joke and laid her head back. Kallisti let out a little yawn of sleepiness. How Harley and Vanille were sleeping, she hadn't the slightest, but she didn't want to.

" . . . You've been different lately. " she said, and Kallisti tiredly raised her eyebrows. Different . . . Yes, she had been different, hadn't she? The game had been getting to her. Everything had been getting to her. Hah. Thomas had gotten to her. Was it jealousy? Probably. She had become so selfish. She had known, in the beginning that Thomas had a crush on Madeline; then, it hadn't really mattered because she saw the other girl as nothing more than a schoolmate.

It was after all of those blasted events that she started to care. But they had put a firm stop to it at the hot springs. Friends, and that was all. And then Thomas was alive again. How . . . peachy. It hadn't mattered to her at first, another face not to care about, another to die.

" Have you been angry with me? "

She let out a little laugh. Was she angry with her? Earlier, at that shattered window, she had been. There had been other times, too, but she never stayed angry. She just wished that it didn't seem like she and Thomas were so close. It was disgusting . . . But there were other things, too. She had just become an overall more cold and cynical person. She disliked everyone. No exceptions.

. . . There were just people that she disliked less than others.

" That's to say I've not been angry with everyone. " she replied evasively, " I am simply tired. " But enough about her. " We haven't talked much as of late, I was beginning to think that perhaps you were angry with me. " That wasn't entirely true, but it was something to say. She yawned again.

Bernadette had tossed the bills at the driver and climbed out of the cab. This place was massive. Upon entering the main lobby, she felt a sense of terror at the sight of two bodyguards so late into the night. A brunette girl was walking out in a party dress and coat at the same time. She had to be one of the people attending the event. The girl had pointed back towards the elevators and she nodded in appreciation. Bernie pressed the up button on the pad and waited patiently for one of the doors to open. An elevator on the right slid to the side, revealing the compartment to stand inside and wait. She pressed the 25 button and stood there listening to the soft music that played around her.

She was nervous, having little knowledge on this email thing. All she knew was that she was now going to be viewed as a fugitive for something she did not do. It wasn't fair. When the elevator finally came to a stop and the door slid open, she stepped out into the hallway. Bernie was about to come face to face with a bunch of strangers that apparently had a limited number of days left to live, like herself. She took a deep breath, steeling her nervous and knocked on the door in front of her before walking in. "Ahm, hallo," she said softly. There didn't appear to be many left away. She tiptoed inside nervously and shut the door behind her. The few that seemed to still be up were in deep conversation. She was always the odd one out, this was just another occurrence.

She took a seat in a large chair as far away from the others as possible. Bernie set the laptop case down on the floor beside the chair and leaned back awkwardly. She still had her coat and boots on and had no intentions on removing them, not now anyway. This was overwhelmingly terrifying.

He hadn't spoken to Quintus Lein since she spread the word about her violin concert thing. Thomas wanted to smile at her, but she seemed to be feeling hostile. Suddenly she shifted to Madeline's side and he felt strangely hurt by Madeline's recent distant behavior, he would get to the bottom of it later. His mind flashed back to seeing her disheveled face as she stumbled out of a ****** apartment room.

He politely asked Theodore for directions to the floor with the beds and found it after leaving the loft. His head hit the pillow and he counted himself to sleep.

John flicked the finished cigarette out the window, ignoring all as his mind digested recent events. He followed after lumbering smitten Thomas and sent a knowing grin Madeline's way. He wanted to laugh, the poor boy. He didn't know when the Quin and Madeline bond formed but it seemed to be flourishing while another wilted. Ha. He placed his cherished red beads in his pockets for safety and found a room hopefully far enough from these embicels and went to sleep.

Madeline checked her phone. Nothing yet. She really did not actually want to head back to the dorms, after this whole thing. It would put herself in danger along with whoever accompanied her...but she really could not stand the thought of Temperance offing herself. It made her angry.

" That's to say I've not been angry with everyone.I am simply tired."

She could empathize. She was tired, too. Madeline gazed into the dead fireplace, tempted to find a way to light it for extra warmth, but consumed by the (sadly rational) fear of the whole place bursting into flames as a result. Her eyes were burning, so she closed them.

" We haven't talked much as of late, I was beginning to think that perhaps you were angry with me. "

"I was, a bit." Oops. Madeline frowned and sunk further back into the couch. She had no right or reason to be upset. Not at all. She really did understand the whole 'friends' thing but for some reason...Even though she understood...It had hurt her and pissed her off beyond logical reason, how easily Quintus had decided to just drop it. How easily things had just shifted. It was more of Crestatia's fault, really, but Madeline couldn't very well direct it at the demon. So it had sat there and festered and turned into a bit of resentment. Thomas was under the same 'rules' but he still fought for her--god damn it these comparisons.

Delicately, she brought her knees to her chest. "I got over it, though. Wasn't really you I was angry with."

She shut up with that and opened her eyes again, checking her phone.

As she lifted her gaze, she caught John's grin and her eyes turned to daggers. What was with him? Dickface.

Temperance walked into her dorm room. She was in a daze. There was only one thing on her mind now and it seemed to consume her. She had been debating it for a very long time, but now seemed like the best option. It made her slightly exited, thinking about it. It lifted her spirits, ever so slightly. What would Crestatia do to her if she killed herself? It wasn't allowed, so would she keep her alive to spite her? That sounded like agony. She dropped the blanket on the bed and pulled a plastic baggie out from under the pillow. It was different than the one from earlier. Three small orange tablets rested inside it. She dumped the contents into her hand, planning on taking them all at once.

She sat down on the bed and held them up to her mouth when her phone beeped. Just great. She rolled her eyes that were still bleeding tears. Temperance picked up the phone and unlocked the screen. It was another reply from Madeline. What more could she possibly have to say?

Temperance groaned. Why did the bitch even care? They despised each other and now she was threatening to come babysit her if she didn't text back. She dropped two of the pills back in the bag and tucked it back under her pillow. The remaining one was popped into her mouth to dissolve on her tongue. She curled up under the thick comforter into a small ball. Her stomach ached from not eating for days, but she didn't care. Another day. She could last one more day.

She shut her eyes as exhaustion continued to erode her consciousness. Sleep was welcoming--inviting, but like usual, brought on a serious case of night terrors.

Marina stepped off the elevator and into the lobby of the building. It was dark, aside from a security guard or two. A blond girl came rushing past her, looking rather lost. She could only assume that she was headed to the party. Instinctively, she pointed to the elevator that would take her up to the twenty-fifth floor. The girl nodded and moved past her, heading in the direction that she had just come from. With a heavy sigh and a painful step forward, she walked out of the building and to the cab that appeared to be about ready to leave. Whomever that woman on the camera was, she would no doubt be near the destruction. Marina was able to make out a street sign from the video feed. She knew the cross street well. The only problem would be getting there. She waved at the car as it started pulling away and watched the taillights flash red. The cabbie put on his breaks and waited for her to climb into the backseat.

"Where to?" his gruff annoyed voice asked.

She gave him the cross streets and he looked at her like she was insane--honestly, she probably was. "Look, I just need you to get as close to it as possible. I am not expecting you to drive me right up to it." Marina flashed him a large wad of cash and finally received a confirming nod. The car pulled out of the parking lot and headed in the direction of the destruction. The ground still rumbled on occasion and the car would swerve. A power line fell across the road a few blocks away from street that was on the film. The cabby came to an abrupt stop in front of it.

"Last stop miss," he nodded in the mirror. The driver eyed her through the reflective glass, waiting for the large sum of money she had in her hand. Clearly there was no getting out of the car without handing it over. She sighed, tossing the whole thing at him through the partition and stepping out of the car. It was cold in her party clothes and the damage to the city was significant. There was no way she would make it there tonight. It was so late too.

She should have stayed back at Antilum with the others, at least then she would be warm. However, she would have been just another sitting duck. At least here she was free of watchful eyes. Marina had managed to maneuver carefully around the power line and over to a house that had been hit during one of the blasts. It was still relatively in tact, but had a whole section of it missing. A large oak tree had been uprooted and smashed down on the structure. Marina took careful steps inside. The family had been in the living room during the explosion and had not made it. She looked away from them and made her way to the master bedroom. It would be wrong to sleep in their bed, so she pulled all the pillows and blankets off of the bed and made a nest for herself in the corner of the room. She rifled through their closet for something to wear and found a rather large set of sweat clothes to change into. Marina grabbed a sweatshirt as well, to help keep herself warm under the blankets.

Once under the safe comfort of these strangers sheets, she pulled out her phone and sent a message to Theodore. He seemed bothered by her leaving for some odd reason. After she pressed send, Marina closed her eyes for sleep. Morning meant she would have a lot of work to do.

Kallisti hummed a reply to Madeline's response. They were both tired. She felt her eyes drooping closed as she smoothed out her black party dress a bit. " s'Hard being friends . . . isn't it? " she murmured, and she wasn't even sure if she had said it.

She didn't want to be friends with Madeline, it was too hard. Theo's idea of ridding the No Romance rule would have been nice . . . She closed her eyes and slumped over to the side, unknowingly and onto Madeline's shoulder.

Tomorrow, hell would probably start, but just one more, peaceful sleep couldn't hurt.

Sleep was not happening. Instead, he turned up the volume to his phone and leaned back in a chair, on the balcony, in the cold. He would not sleep. He would not. Those bums inside of Antilum could sleep, if they wanted, but sleep felt dangerous. If another bomb dropped he would warn them, and move everyone down to the lower layers of Antilum. If another bomb dropped... ...His phone buzzed and he viewed the text that awaited him.

His heart felt much less heavy now. He replied quickly and curled up a bit in the chair.

He wished she had waited instead of strutting off by herself. If only, if only...He should have brought a blanket out here, but going back inside after that storm out was...not going to fly. Not with his pride...Not that anyone had been paying attention. Instead of returning, though, he huddled up as best as possible and sighed, gazing up at the sky.

Tonight he would not sleep. He would just watch the sky, and think, and plan, and try to stay alive.

No one seemed to even acknowledge her arrival. Why did she come here exactly? If she wanted to be ignored, she could have remained at school. Tomorrow was Monday, after all. She slipped her feet out of the boots and pulled her legs up onto the chair with her. The backrest leaned back and she let it tip slightly to give her more room. Coming here so late at night was exhausting. Bernadette yawned in the chair before burying the side of her face into the cool leather. Her eyelids slowly fluttered shut until she was asleep.

Someone else entered but they didn't sound threatening and Madeline had no energy left to turn and size them up. She felt a little bad, but hey, this was Theo's party.

    "
    s'Hard being friends . . . isn't it? "

Madeline closed her eyes again, nibbling softly on her bottom lip and letting her mind wander. Maybe it would have been nicer to move to a room with a bed, but this was lovely, too. Even without a fire lit in the fireplace, Madeline was warm enough. Quin leaned over and at first M had thought she would just lean further into the cushions, but then her head rested on her shoulder. For a moment, Madeline wanted to be more than skin and bones. It may be more comfortable, after all. But Quin was alseep, so it must have been alright.

Softly and a bit timid, Madeline pulled the girl a little closer to herself.

"Good night," her face leaned down slowly to peck Quintus' forehead before she let herself drift into slumber.

Everything was turning to **** before Casey and regret filled the boy greatly. At first he felt that leaving Heidi alone would have been the best idea, but in the end this was a great mistake. With all the sudden events, Casey wished he was beside Heidi's side. Marina was precious to him, but she was strong and he felt she would be able to take care of herself. Despite this, it did not mean he felt no worry for the girl at all. "Crestatia...you took my brother away from me...you erased him and now this?...do not think I will go down so easily..." Casey said closing his eyes as he stared back at the news report and narrowed his eyes. Many died and Casey needed a plan fast before people began to riot and seek him out.
Clenching his fist, Casey grabbed his nearby white fur jacket and prepared to march out to go to Heidi's side. She was alone and Casey had no idea just what was going to happen to her in the state she was. Nearly about to leave the dorm room he was in, his phone began to immediately ring. Doubt about answering it reached his mind but soon enough Casey decided to answer. "Hello?" Casey said into the receiver
"Casey! whats going on?! I see explosions and your name suddenly up on the television!" said the voice of his father
"I...can tell you dad...I'm sorry" Casey said closing his eyes. To have his father worried like this hurt him greatly but he had to endure.
"...look, so long as your safe I don't give a damn about whatever they want you for. You'd better damn well not go there otherwise I will kick you ass! In fact just remain inside, I'm working my ass off to make sure your unharmed by those idiotic bastards that want to sacrifice you like a lamb" Jacob yelled.
"B-But I cant just stay here! I need to save Hei-" Casey began to say
"Don't worry about her, your granduncle Marshall is making sure nothing will happen to her...I feel sorry for anybody that dares to cross him. He holds a great deal of power in the police force and even higher than that...so nothing will go wrong" Jacob said.
"...alright dad" Casey said. It hurt him to not visit Heidi but at the moment he had no other choice
"Stay safe son" Jacob said hanging up
With a sigh, Casey closed his eyes and fell on his bed. For now he slept.

And so he heard it, what the fools called a UFO, he called a messenger for god! God had descended from the sky and at last! he gained the message! God had invited him to meet him! From the voice of god it seemed that god had sent down a goddess to meet with him. Oh joy was overflowing for him, Laurence felt that God merely covered her face so that when they finally met he would be graced by her beautiful face. At this point he felt like a schoolgirl having been asked to the prom by the most handsome boy. Oh he was so excited, but he had no idea where god was so he cried at the fact that he couldn't meet god for a very long time and eventually cried himself to sleep.
