Yeah, Lady Crazy could say anything she wanted, but there was no way he was staying with all of those weirdos--minus Elliot. His taxi would be here any moment, after all, and he didn't have anything particularly...nice to add to the discussion they were bound to have in the morning or when more people arrived. No matter, he wasn't staying. Noooo waaaay.

Pathetic how terrible his resolve was. All it took was a squeeze of his hand and a kiss on the cheek to change his mind completely.

    ...Alright.

His voice was smaller than usual and he nearly lost his balance walking back into the house after her with how nervous he was feeling. It really was late, after all. What harm would it do to stay one more night? Yeah. Just one more.

He kicked off his shoes, peeled away his coat and plopped back onto the bed in the guest room he had before. Then he curled up into a ball and flipped through his phone for a bit, trying to find some inspiration for a poem he planned to write in the morning, before falling asleep.

The room was dark, none of the lights were lit and the only source of light was from the magnificent wide screened television. New of many death were all announced. There were accidents, murders and just plain mysteries. It was not a surprise to Zeke at all, after all he had been keeping a close eye on matters. He expected there to be more of an uproar, but the city merely treated it as a mere set of accident and nothing more.

A small chuckle escaped his mouth. The chair the black clothed teen sat on was truly magnificent. Such amazing cushions, such a regal design, it truly show the true wealth of those that inhabited the residence. Closing his eyes as he shook his head, the teen placed his wine glass to his lips and took a sip. "Hmm bitter…is this what adults are always bragging about?" Zeke said as he lowered the glass and smiled. The news report had come to an end and commercials soon took its place. With this, the teen sighed and opened his eyes "alright I’m done, put on the light" Zeke said.

Upon the command the others in the room quickly complied and soon the darkened house lit up. The light soon revealed something horrific in the eyes of civilians. What stood before the teen was a group of people all lying on the ground dead. Slashes to the throat, bullet shots to the head, and many different ways that led to their death, they all just remained there lifeless.

The sight didn’t faze the teen at all, after all why would the murderer feel sickened by the sight? Standing up from the chair the teen calmly smiled as he walked past the corpses. "The fools cherished their victory, they reveled in it, but how would they know that death would reach them in their glorious party" the said. Chuckles echoed out from some of the burly men that occupied the manor as well, but the teen ignored it for now. He silently walked forward and up to something he was looking forward to dealing with for a good while.

A man who was once called ally was now lying on the ground. His body was constricted by a heavy rope and his mouth was duct taped. Crouching down the teen smiled "Yo" he said with a smile as he ripped off the duct tape

"You son of ***** let me go this instant” the man said. He struggled to release the ropes so much but that proved so very futile.

“Come now I come to have a pleasant discussion and here you are starting off with the name calling? How mean” the teen said as he closed his eyes with a nonchalant smile. “Besides you did something you were not supposed to do and now it’s only fair you receive your punishment for it” Zeke said as the nonchalant smile turned sinister. Snapping his fingers the burly men immediately took a cloth and tied it around the tied up man’s mouth. They then began to pour what seemed like a liquid all over the tied up man.

The prisoner could tell just what the liquid was from just the smell alone, it was gas. He struggled frantically, trying in vain to stop what was coming next. As he looked up he could see the teen stand up straight and pull out a pack of matches

“Ahh yes I nearly forgot to return these matches to you…enjoy” Zeke said as he lit the match and tossed it on the body. The match reached its target and immediately the body was set ablaze. Like a fish out of water the man flopped around while his flesh was slowly beginning to be burnt away. He could only let out muffled cries of anguish.

Letting out a loud satisfying laughter, the teen placed the hood of his shirt over his head. The signal was let out and the house was set ablaze. Together with the men that accompanied him they exited the manor. All the valuables were taken along with group and together they walked away from the blazing manor.

“Coy City…It’s been a while” the teen said as he smirked “well then let’s have some fun” he said. With their journey at an end they finally reached their destination. Tomorrow was another day with so many possible outcomes. For now they merely found a hotel and rested for the night. This whole event, it felt odd, as if he had done it before. Ever since the day before he had a strange nagging feeling telling him to keep on moving forward before he wasted his time. It was ridiculous considering he had a long time until the time limit, but nonetheless he chose to follow with this feeling. Closing his eyes on his hotel bed, Zeke fell fast asleep.

What Casey learned that day was pretty life changing. In the mental state he was in now, he just couldn't stand to return home at the moment. For now he merely took up Marina's invitation and returned to the same room he slept in the other night

Kallisti woke up that morning, taking a few minutes to realize that she was in her own bed, in her own home. It was very surreal, considering she hadn't been home in days. There had been little contact with her father throughout all of this time, and that was strange. With all that was happening though, she felt his presence, however much she enjoyed it, was of little importance and more of a convenience.

Today, she was wanted at the Sario Estate in Brookridge. Kallisti never liked that city because even though it neighbored the relatively humble Coy City, there were two very different attitudes battling at the boundary. She wondered who else was there, but decided that didn't really matter.

After dressing in the day's outfit, she went to her laptop that hadn't been touched in what felt like such a long time and turned it on. It quietly hummed to life and she typed in her password, her desktop image and other desktop items appearing. She pulled open Tumblr and stared at her dashboard for a little while. It had all been fairly inactive, but she supposed that wasn't very surprising.

Kallisti typed up a message to leave on her blog and then cleared all the tags she was tracking. So far, no more than . . . some thirty people had received the e-mail from Crestatia. Honestly, she could have sworn that the number used to be much smaller. The other names must have escaped her notice.

She sighed and went downstairs to the kitchen to prepare a small breakfast of jam and buttered toast, and a cup of hot tea. When she was done eating her small and quiet breakfast she checked her watch; it would take an hour or so to get to the Sario Estate, and she didn't even know where it was. More than likely, it was logged onto a map, being the home of a senator. After logging in the location onto her GPS, she left a note for her father to message her as soon as possible.

With a bag of clothing she prepared before hand, Kallisti walked out of her car with her violin case, set it gently in the back and took one last look at her home. Every time she left it, it could be her last. That was melancholy sort of thought, but at least she was facing the music, yes?

Harley was one of the first people up that morning, and to his surprise, Vanille was still sleeping. He pegged her as an early riser, despite the time they'd both gone to sleep that night.

It was kind of weird waking up in the Sario Estate because he figured he'd be home by now, but somehow, he felt like he wasn't gonna see home for a long time. It was a bit sad, when he thought about it.

He dressed, took a last look at Vanille's face ( he doubted he'd be seeing it any time soon ) and then headed out of the room. He had to admit, he was pretty impressed with the estate, but he'd seen classier. There were some parts of it that he found overly decorated and tacky, then there were others that were completely bare and . . . plain. Honestly, who designed this place? The architecture wasn't bad though, but since this wasn't his place, he didn't really have the right to complain.

He still enjoyed doing it anyway.

After about twenty minutes of wandering or so, Harley found himself in the a parlor that was overly sized. It was probably useless to keep wandering around anymore, so he waited for someone to find him and take him to the dining room.

While waiting, he brought out his phone and scrolled through a few sites, eventually coming to Tumblr. He saw Kallisti's text post and sighed at it. She could be pretty damn depressing sometimes, couldn't she? He wondered if she would be coming here, too. With a sigh, he typed up his own message and then put his phone away to conserve its life.

They would be going to the Brookridge Academy of Excellency. That was pretty annoying because Harley didn't have a lot of patience when it came to dealing with rich, spoiled, snobby little brats. It was a good place to find insecure people though because, surprise, surprise, kids with filthy amounts of money still had other emotional issues.

Daddy didn't love them enough, Mommy always got drunk. They were molested by their servant, they got pregnant but didn't tell the parents, they did drugs, they drank, they partied . . . It was like a breeding ground for rich, fucked up kids.

And he was sure he'd enjoy every moment of it.

John's eyes were open with a start. Scaring the doctor who had softly shaken his shoulder. He got that a lot, the surprised look, when people first saw the contrast in his eyes, they gave him the same look. He shakily got his thoughts together. Why was this man bugging him. Why did his neck hurt. And why was he one this probably filthy bench. The bench made him stand up. Who knows who's bottom sat on that thing. He was shifting back into full on comfortable snugness now. His glare was back on and directed at the doctor. "Well how is she?! Is she okay? Is the transfusion finished or whatever?" The coated doctor nodded at him and began to try to turn the tables. He would need a number to contact their parents.

"She should be fine. We deduced her blood type and have given her the correct transfusion. The procedure is simple, after making sure she was alive. She was in such a state that we had no time to ask for parental consent. But that will come later. Your parents will be here shortly, right?" The doctor asked him softly and gently. "We can call them for you, if you don't know where they are at the moment."

He rattled off a fake number which the doctor wrote down on a piece of paper. He then gave the old man her address. No one was there anyway, so maybe he could think of a way to get her out of this while they scrambled for parents who didn't exist. He thanked God throughout his conversation. Multiple times for sparing Eleanora's life and also giving him the knowledge of what had already happened. Otherwise he wouldn't have even tried to save the little girl in that room in front of him. He brushed past the man, who still asked for his last name. He opened the door and quietly stood at her side. She looked so peaceful. So unenergetic, he looked about the room and couldn't see her wand, he didn't grab it in his haste to bandage her. He vowed to get it for her, knowing how highly she seemed to value it. He would scour the entirety of the hot springs for their things. But for now, he simply wanted to be beside her, to see with his own eyes that she was one hundred percent in time. That he had made it in time. He took her hand in his and sat in a chair beside her. They would come back to ask about the fake number, in which case he would forward them to his mother. Who he would ask to him out before he would get chewed out by her too.

John smiled. They were going to be okay.

The idea terrified her. Would they decide she not fit to be in their company? Would this game kill her too quickly? She shut the bedroom door quietly and made her way to the bed. She pulled the duvet and sheets back before slipping off the slippers and robe. Heidi hung the robe on the back of the door and crawled into the bed, curling up within the sheets. The warmth enveloped her to the same degree as the ones at the hot springs. She never believed she would sleep in another comfy bed like this, apparently she had been wrong. Why are they being so nice to me? I don't deserve it.

Bed sheets were ripped from her body as Heidi tossed around on the bed. Her body had grown restless and it was decidedly time to wake up. She rubbed her eyes and sat upright on the large soft bed. It had to have been at least a queen. Something much too big for her. After a minute spent getting her bearings, she looked around the room. They really had provided her with too much. There was no way she'd ever be able to repay them. The small brunette slid off the edge of the bed and pulled the robe off of its hook, wrapping it around her body. Heidi exited the light blue room and her eyes widened at the enormity of the house. It was massive and the poor schizophrenic had never seen a home so vast. She wasn't used to a place this large, not to mention the fact that she had her own room. It was next to one labeled Dumbass. She stared at the signs on the doors briefly, wondering why Altair might have one with that sort of title. Did the old man really think he was a Dumbass, or was it a joke?

Heidi made her way down the stairs that overlooked the living room. The house was so large it took a few minutes to find the kitchen. Normally, she would never begin raiding someone's refrigerator without permission, but the old man seemed to insist on her feeling welcome. It was a strange feeling, being welcome. She was never welcome anywhere before. Don't get used to it sweetie. Heidi scowled and opened the cupboards one by one, searching for something appropriate to eat. She was hungry and needed food. The house seemed relatively quiet, for the time being so late in the morning. Maybe they left without her or something? Heidi had an unsettling feeling in her gut, but she did her best to ignore it. There was a lot too choose from, but she wasn't too skilled as a cook-- having little practice. As she made her way around the breakfast bar a bowl of fruit caught her eye. She picked up an apple for now. Hopefully someone could show her how to cook something. If she attempted on her own, it was a disaster waiting to happen.

Marina stepped out of the bathroom and into her dimly lit bedroom. She was not as happy this morning as she was in the previous, but she would be forced to put on a pretty smile and entertain the surplus of guests she now had. It was a good thing her mother would be away for a charity event and her father was in Washington DC. The only other person that might mind would be Nathan, and he was hardly ever here. Just thinking about him made her blood boil. He could be so infuriating. To correspond with her rather bleak mood, Marina was dressed in something she hardly ever wore, jeans. She inspected herself in the mirror one last time before finally deciding that this would have to do.

With a reluctant sigh, she picked up her phone and deck of tarot cards before walking out of her bedroom. She shut the door behind her and stared at the screen for a moment. Oh right. I had a tumblr message. I wonder what it was about. Marina opened up the app on her touch screen and read the peculiar message. Who was this strange person? She tapped away at the screen writing up a reply. A response came almost instantaneously. Her breath caught in her throat as she opened up the new message. The psychic was rarely scared, but this person was starting to mess with her head. As she wandered down the hall, she also noticed that Kallisti had wrote something. She had not seen the granddaughter of her Headmistress arrive last night, so she decided to reblog her text post inviting her here. I hope she did not come because she was unaware of the proceedings and not for some other reason.[/paragraph]

When Marina reached the staircase she stepped down gingerly, her heels clicking the whole way. She stopped in the kitchen to let the cook know that there would be more people for breakfast than the morning before. At the moment, she felt no desire to sit in the dining hall and wait. She walked back out to the entryway heading in the direction of the living room. She had but one direction in mind, that was, until she saw a blond figure sitting in the parlor. Marina stopped at the threshold and smiled at him conspiratorially. She knocked on the wall before walking in on Harley. "Mr. Jackson," she greeted, "good morning. What ever are you doing in here?" She laughed lightly and gave him a glowing smile. Marina stepped inside of the large room and took a seat at the piano bench, glancing over at him as she did so. It would not surprise her if he had gotten lost. Many have done so before. "I do not believe we were properly introduced last night and to that I apologize. I needed to speak with Mr. Weldon before he disappeared completely."

She batted her dark lashes at him and her hands lifted the key cover, beginning to play the large instrument by heart. Marina could not remember when she learned this melody--just that Nathan had taught her when she was younger. She smiled sweetly as her fingers pressed down on the combination of white and black keys.

Harley didn't have to wait long for something to happen. Just a few minutes later of gazing out the window, he heard footsteps that walked against wood onto carpet. He turned around to see the young lady of the house, Marina after she knocked on a wall.

As if this wasn't her home. He almost couldn't stop himself from snorting.

" Mr. Jackson," she greeted, " good morning. What ever are you doing in here? " Her smiled came easily and Harley thought that if he were a girl, he might be something like Marina.

Now that he had a more decent chance to look her over, he had to admit that she was rather pretty. Maybe she could do without the makeup, and the shoes weren't to his liking, but the rest of her was attractive. Her figure was slim but curvy and she was a good height, but still shorter than him. He switched couches to get a better look and view of her.

" Just waiting for something to happen, " he answered with his own easy smile, " And it seems that something has. " He finished suggestively as Marina took a seat at the bench of the piano. Oh, this would be fun.

" I do not believe we were properly introduced last night, and to that I apologize. " she continued, " I needed to speak with Mr. Weldon before he disappeared completely. "

Mr. Weldon? Probably talking about that kid that was waiting for someone outside of her estate. He wondered why she had to talk him into staying? Scorned love, bad sex? Haha. It seemed possible. Disappointment? These people would fight over anything, wouldn't they?

She batted her eyelashes at him and his first thought was that her eyeliner was unacceptable, but the second was that she had extremely pretty eyes. When she began to play, he laid his head back and listened for a few minutes. He didn't recognize the song, but mostly because he only listened to classical piano music, but the piece wasn't half bad, and it was almost relaxing. Haha. Falling asleep on a girl who was obviously attracted to him wouldn't be a good idea, so instead, he stood.

As she continued to play, Harley slowly walked around the room, observing his surroundings and the facial expression of Marina. She was talented, there was no doubting that, so it probably also would have been a bad idea to sit down and play, too. As he neared her, he thought of Kallisti playing the piano, too. He hummed to himself, filling some of the gaps of the tun with his own improve, and then the song ended.

He found himself standing behind Marina, his face near the side of hers and his breathing on her neck. " That was very nice, " he said softly, and then lingered there for a moment that was probably an eternity and then drew back, spinning on his foot, " So, " he started again with a smile, sitting on a chair closest to Marina, " Who else is here at your little soirée? "

Marina's fingers danced across the piano. She could hear Harley humming along to the song and her smile grew more genuine. Playing was one of the few things she was glad her mother forced her to do. She closed her eyes halfway through, letting her fingers guide her through the motions. She could perform this piece deaf. When her fingers pressed the last keys and the song came to an end, Marina felt warmth radiating off her back. She was very much aware of Harley's proximity to her own. His face was near the side of hers and his breathing was felt on the back of her neck. "That was very nice," he said softly.
"Mm..." she purred and opened her eyes finally. He lingered there for a moment that was probably an eternity and then drew back, spinning on his foot. The warmth of his breath quickly began to dissipate and she felt a chill where it had been.
"So," he started again with a smile, sitting on a chair closest to Marina, "Who else is here at your little soirée?"
Marina spun around on the bench and folded her hands neatly in her lap. She cocked her head to the side and began to think, doing her best to name off all that had arrived. "I believe all of the BAE students are here. That includes: Theodore Weldon, Casey Heckles, Olivia Suchet, Benjamin Ross, Elliot Anderson, Dylan Coleshaw, Vanille Frost--to which you are already know--, and myself. As for your fellow Bellhurst companions, Mr. Plume, Miss Spike, Anthony Evans and his sister Elizabeth, Bronagh Williamson, and yourself. I must say, it is far fewer than I had hoped for. I did, however, extend a personal invitation to your dear cousin Kallisti. I do hope she comes. I have not seen her since the helicopter crashed." Her blue eyes locked onto Harley's and she chuckled lightly. "That was an interesting experience, I must say. I did hope for more of your classmates to join us, like Mr. Geis and the girl he lost in the woods. I never did get the opportunity to meet her." Not that I would honestly care too.
She puckered her lips momentarily before standing to smooth out the creases in her jeans. She truly despised wearing pants. They were far too constricting. Marina tossed her hair over her shoulder and pulled the deck of cards out of her back pocket, along with her phone. She approached him, a smirk on her pink lips, and set the cards and phone down on the small table. Her fingers trailed across his shoulder as she sat down in the chair beside his and crossed her ankles. "I must say, I am rather pleased Vanille brought you. We did not get the opportunity to speak the last time we saw one another, however, you do not remember. How sad." She pouted and waved her hand dramatically. "Oh well. This time around seems much better than the last."

She felt disgusting for wearing these clothes now, 3 days in a row. Especially since it was such a nice house she was in and everything seemed all clean. In all honesty, Bronagh had not been expecting such a long stay, if she had she would have come prepared. In fact, she was expecting to head home that night before they were brought here.

Bronagh went into one of the bathrooms and washed her face. Bronagh adjusted her hat and sighed as she looked in the mirror at herself. Her indent was covered by her hair and hat, her eyes did not seem irritated although she kept waking up in the night to cry. She had a blackhead at the tip of her nose that was irritating to her. Unless someone was absolutely picky about another person's appearance no one else would notice it
    x
She wandered around the mansion again, this time she wasn't lost as much as she was exploring. She wouldn't touch anything, but she loved looking around and everything. When she got to one room she heard a piano in another room and a muffled conversation.
    x
She decided she wouldn't go in there at the moment.
    x
She then found herself staring at her clothes again and she sighed quietly. The only thing she could do to make herself feel a bit more comfortable would be to adjust some of her accessories. She went to pull out her phone and then stopped herself.
    x
    You smashed it dummy. Remember?

Bronagh wandered around a bit more, at this point she really was not sure where she was, it was nice though.

" I believe all of the BAE students are here. " Marina replied, now facing Harley with her hands folded neatly in her lap, and then proceeded to list off the names of the students. He recognized a few of the last names, but nothing more than that. So, he'd be going to school with these kids? He'd have to remember to keep an ear out for their names and an eye out for their faces.

" As for your fellow Bellhurst companions . . . " and then she listed off all of the kids he knew. " I did, however, extend a personal invitation to your dear cousin, Kallisti. " Harley raised an eyebrow and was immediately on guard to how she knew her. " I do hope she comes. I have not seen her since the helicopter crashed. "

Helicopter crash? This must have been in Timeline One because he remembered nothing about a helicopter crash in the news.

" I see. " Harley replied, slipping his hands into his pockets. So Kallisti was on her way here, huh? He didn't peg her as the type, but since Marina's name was in the email, it wasn't all that surprising.

Marina stood and Harley kept his eyes on her as she moved around, and then pulled a deck of cards and her phone from her pants. They were pretty tight on here, weren't they? He wouldn't mind taking them off if they both weren't playing for dominance. Of course, she was smaller than him and he was no doubt stronger than her. It wouldn't be hard to pin her down.

She rounded him with her fingers gliding lightly over his shoulders, and then came to sit beside him, " I must say, I am rather pleased Vanille brought you. " she began and he began to twist a lock of her hair between his fingers gently, " We did not get the opportunity to speak the last time we saw one and other, however, you do not remember. How sad. "

He hummed, " Mmm . . . How sad, indeed. " The both of them knew where this was probably going.

" Oh well. This time around seems much better than the last. "

He guessed it was, even though he had nothing to go on. For a few minutes, he continued to play with her hair and then leaned in to place his lips to her ne -

" Harleeeeey! " sang a voice, and with a heavy, dismal sigh, Harley sat up and settled for resting his arm on the couch top behind Marina. Vanille hopped into the parlor, and in her hand was Kallisti.

Harley sat up more straight as his cousin gave him a dirty look.

" She just got here ~ " Vanille sang, still holding onto Kallisti's hand. Harley got to his feet, offering his own hand to Marina.

" Your drive was okay? " he asked her and she nodded, slightly stiff, eyeing his hand holding Marina's, " Lee was home? " A mute reply with a shake of her head.

" Kallisti, this is Marina, Marina, my cousin, Kallisti. " he said, and he felt the full force of her glare and laughed. Well, that could have turned out better.

A loud yawn echoed throughout the large house as the old man began to walk lazily into the kitchen. Upon noticing Heidi, the old man raised an eyebrow and smiled "Good Morning Heidi, didn't expect to see you up so early" The old man said as he head into the fridge "typical for Altair to sleep in and leave you alone like this. Lemme whip you up some breakfast, that apple should not be able to fill you up" the old man said taking no excuses from the girl as he immediately began to whip up some eggs.

Soon enough Altair arose from his slumber and after a shower, Altair walked down with his red bandana in hand "Ah Heidi I see your awake! good morning" Altair said with a charming smile as he took a seat on the nearby dinning table. "I see the old man got off his lazy ass and decided to cook something" Altair said with a grin. The old man began to grumble but Altair merely began to chuckle. Soon enough breakfast was done and the end result was placed before Heidi and Altair. The old man rarely cooked, but when he did it was quite the tasty experience. His pans were unknown at the moment and though he pondered about heading to Marina's place, he also wondered if Heidi would be alright with so many people. The visit to the hot springs were to see if Crestatia would do something if they all were in a group or possibly close together. This theory was debunked due to the lack of events at the hotsprings, but then a though occurred. If time-travel was an issue then there was a chance that an event actually occurred and prevented. The chance of heading to Marina's manor and dying was big and Altair felt it would be best to think it out more.

Morning arose again and Casey sat up as he awoke from his slumber. Noticing he was still in the guest room, he wondered if his mother and father were worried about him staying over for so long. So far he had learned some pretty important fact, but at the same time nothing had been done to help them any further. Casey questioned whether it was best if he remained ignorant, but soon shook those thoughts aside as he made his bed and headed downstairs. When he headed into the dinning room he was surprised to see that it was empty. Wishing not to dine alone, Casey decided to see if anybody was away and lucky he found some people in the parlour.

Three of the people in there were unknown but at least Marina was there. "Good Morning everybody" Casey said with a bright smile as he walked into the parlour. He hoped that these new people were friendly and not anything like the other students at BAE. The BAE students were all snobby and rude, always flaunting around their status or the money that they never earned for themselves. He hoped he could be friends or at least be on friendly terms. "My name is Casey, its nice to meet you all" Casey said upon realizing he hadn't introduced himself.

John softly clenched her small hand with one of his, and smiled, he still felt sleepy but it wasn't as bad now. He had gotten a lucky break, because her bleeding was so severe, she'd been treated without any delay. But how would he get them out of there? They didn't have their real information, but he was not an adult, and he would not be able to prove it. And then there's the fact the Eleanora may or may not remember him. Therefore she may freak out that she's in the hospital, with some blonde guy who went to her school. Gah, that was irrelevant right now. What was most important, was getting them out of there without getting sent to some kind of juvenile home.

Vanille had faked sleeping that morning when Harley left. She tried to keep her shaking and sweating to a minimum and really wanted to pull the covers over her face so he couldn't see it, but she knew that if she made any moves, he would have known for certain that she was awake. After he left the room, she sat up in her bed and stared at the door for a few minutes, then cried a few more.

After she was done, she quietly dressed, slipped on her shoes and pulled out a mask that came from seemingly nowhere. Before slipping on her mask, she stepped in front of a large body mirror, just like she did every morning. She stared hard at her face, and then at the mark on her cheek, then at the tribal tattoo on her upper arm. She would never dress in front of anyone, never let them see the rest of her body. It's a good thing that, for the most part, her arms, neck, and legs were clear of any marks.

She sighed and slipped on her tribal, trickster wolf mask and left the room for the entrance of the mansion. Tumblr said that Kallisti was on her way, and Vanille wanted to be the first person to see her in! She skipped lightly down the hallway, and then when she came to the double staircase of the entrance, she looked around. Only one or two servants were standing, so she giggled and sat side-saddled on the railing, then slid down it's curved form, hopping off before she met the break.

The servant that was standing by the main doors gave her a look of disgust, but she shrugged it off, giggled, and then told him to open the door for her. Having servants was so much fun, especially when they were lighthearted! All of these ones really sucked, she thought to herself as the door opened.

She stood on the stairs and watched the drive for about ten minutes, and then a car rounded the large fountain, driving up in front of the house. It was Kallisti, she was here! Vanille tried to keep her composure, but she was bouncing on the balls of her feet in anticipation as the girl stepped out of the car and removed the sunglasses from her face and put them into a bag in the back.

She seemed really hesitant, and Vanille standing there like that probably didn't make her feel any better. ❝Hi!❞ Vanille said chipperly as the other slowly walked up the steps.

. . . Hello.❞ she replied, halfway up the steps, ❝. . . Are you Miss Marina Sario?❞ she asked, and then Vanille giggled.

Of course not!❞ she responded, ❝My name's Vanille Frost, but you can call me Vanilla or Frosty, if you want!

I see,❞ she said as the two of them then walked into the large and grand estate, ❝I am Quintus Lein, but you may call me Quin, if you so prefer.

Vanille turned to a servant after nodding vigorously, ❝Could you tell us where Marina Sario is?❞ she asked, and the servant then showed them to a parlor. After the servant left them, Vanille turned to Kallisti and put her finger to her lips, and then quietly cracked open the door to observe the room's occupants.

She saw Marina walking around a small couch where Harley was sitting and then making herself comfortable beside him. He began to play with her hair for a few minutes as the two of them talked, and then at the opportune moment . . .

Harleeeeey!❞ she sang, suddenly grabbing Kallisti's hand and dragging her along. She grinned in delight under her mask at seeing Harley's reaction, ❝She just got here ~ ❞ she replied, and Kallisti was subtly trying to take her own hand back, but Vanille wasn't having it; this situation was just too much fun!

After the somewhat mute exchange, she gauged the faces of Marina, Harley, and Kallisti, but before anything else could be said, someone else joined them.

Good morning, everybody.❞ said the boy, and at first, Vanille thought it was a girl. Boy, her hair was really pink! But then, after a few moments, she recognized that face, and realized she had been at Theo's party - and not only that, but she wasn't a girl, she was a boy! ❝My name is Casey, it's nice to meet you all.

At that point, Vanille had let go of Kallisti's hand and took Casey's to shake it enthusiastically, ❝It's nice to see you again!❞ she said cheerfully, ❝Your hair is really pink, but you dyed it black on a later day, and it made you look more like a boy. I think you should do that again so people aren't confused!❞ She giggled and then the room was quiet.

    ... Temperance?

    Cherno woke up-

    OH-
    OH FUCK.

    Ahahaha.

    Ahahahahahahahaha.

Well then! Fufufu, I think it's time, isn't it?

A cold sweat lined his face.
    His fingers were trembling.

This pain ... it-- it was unbearable--
    But--

    aa--aah--

    Knockout.

    Bang.

Cherno gently closed his eyes, and fell back to the bed.

[Mood: Thoughtful... ~ OOC: ~ Listening to]

Zoey had needed to confirm it with her own eyes. She'd needed to see the truth. Now she had no doubts. Tyler Ashes, her half-brother, was alive. She'd been careful not to be seen, but she was sure... that scruffy hair, tendency to carry headphones around wherever he went, and the way he habitually scratched the back of his head, the same way as she habitually did. ...It was overwhelming. She'd nearly started crying from relief right there, but that would have drawn too much attention to her.
...She didn't know what to do. So many possibilities were right before her.
She had a chance to tell him the truth... it would change everything. ...She'd missed her chance before, she couldn't afford to miss it again. She felt so scared of what that could mean.

    Although...
What would telling him mean? This is the reason why she had been scared to tell him before... It really would change everything, and now there was a bigger risk. Would Crestatia do something? Or would it lead to some other horrible tragedy? Zoey was so unbelievably scared. She had a chance once more and yet she was completely paralyzed by fear.
She was scared because of the fact that he had died. ...It really highlighted just how mortal every single one of them was. What if her actions triggered something horrible? Of course... it didn't seem to be against the rules from what she could tell. Gah! She just was so indecisive.
...Her return home ended kinda wrong. She'd instead gone to the dorms in Brookridge. ...Of course, she didn't live here right now. She still lived at her little apartment back in Coy. Zoey had sighed, lost in thought about what to do. By the time she got home (the right one) she still had no idea what she should do.
...She'd have loved to talk to someone about it. Possibly Heidi, but right now that wasn't possible. Not getting anywhere in her jumble of thoughts, Zoey decided it was best to distract herself instead for now and try to revisit the topic with a less clouded mind later, so she grabbed her laptop and took refuge in... 'THE INTERNET!'
She had been disappointed to learn that a lot of her bookmarked porn videos had obviously vanished to the state they were in in this current time, but it was a small price to pay for having Tyler and others back. So... after finishing her business, she went to sleep (naked... of course).

Temperance sat up on the plush bed. It was even nicer than the one she had at home, and she had always come to admire her bed. She picked at the sheets, her chest raising up and down with her breathing. Sleep was difficult the night before. Her eyes were droopy with dark circles underneath. Even after being allowed to sleep in such a luxurious bed, it had been a restless night. Images of steam and bloody water plagued her thoughts every time she shut her eyes. When she wasn't trying to sleep, she kept hearing Cherno's voice. That car ride had been torture. She still wasn't sure whether or not she should believe him, but she also hadn't given him the opportunity to say anything further.

Her stomach was unsettling. She had already thrown up twice. Temperance just wished her body could calm down long enough for her to leave this room. However, leaving it meant two potential things might happen. One, she might see Cherno; and two, she might see one or both of the Evans'. Neither of those sounded like fun at the moment. Her resolve to destroy the pair had not ended. She fully intended to do so, but not here--not now. As for Cherno, she wasn't sure she could ever face him again. Did he actually believe she felt that way about him? He must have. The look on his face was enough to confirm it. How embarrassing.

She closed her eyes and laid back on the bed, resting her head against the soft plush pillows. The whole scene continuously played in her mind. She couldn't get it to shut off no matter how hard she tried. Her body felt like it was on fire. Blood pounded in her ears. An odd tingling sensation pulsated throughout her body. Temperance wondered how he felt. Did he feel the same but just refused to say it so he wouldn't die, or did he honestly not care for her? Both ideas stung--the latter a great deal more. She could still so easily picture it, all of it. He seemed so uncomfortable by the idea of telling her. Cherno clearly did not return the feelings. That was probably for the best. At least it would keep him alive, for now. How long did they honestly manage to prolong her life? He knew how she felt, so she wouldn't have to say it again, but what if something else happens. What if she encounters a different rule that's harder to follow?

Trees whirred by in the dark. The sleek black town car moved effortlessly through the quiet city streets. The only light in the back seat was from the glow of the moon. Everything was so perfect. Temperance kept her green eyes focused on the world outside of the car. How much time had passed since they go in? It had to be nearly a half hour by now. Finally she sighed, breaking the incredibly thick silence that had befallen onto them. She never took her eyes off the window. Temperance was too nervous to turn her head back and look at him. "Are you going to say something?" she muttered to the fogging glass.

Cherno cleared his throat awkwardly before responding. "Yeah, but you wouldn't believe me."

She rolled her eyes. He was so frustrating. "For being such a genius, you're rather dumb. Would you just get on with it?" Her voice was flat and expressionless, giving nothing away. If she didn't remain void of emotion, she might break down again.

"FINE OKAY. gosh well... I'm sorry if you don't believe me." She chanced a glance at him. Cherno looked worried and tired with his head resting in his hand. "Before I say anything, what do you think you died of?" Couldn't he just get on with it without playing twenty questions? This was hard enough the way it was.

"Does it really matter what I think I died from? I don't think so," she said softly. Her green eyes rested on the side of his face. Where had he been the last few days before they arrived at the hot springs? He had disappeared and she had be worried. She didn't want to be. She didn't want to care, so why did he make her care so much?

He began, "okay because," he paused for a long time. The suspense was maddening. Finally Cherno took a deep breath as the car pulled up to the Sario Estate. Was this seriously where this Marina chick lived? She knew Brookridge was swanky, but not this swanky. The driver parked the car on the gravel in front of the front door to the psychic's home. One more deep breath and he finally opened his mouth. "You died because you said you loved me."

Her heart beat violently in her chest, but her face remained emotionless. A tear began to slowly creep down her cheek in the dark. Her green eyes stared forward at the seat in front of her. The car was dimly lit from the glow of the porch light. Her hands were shaking and her breathing unsteady. She wasn't sure what to say or do. She didn't even know for sure if that's how she felt about him. They weren't really that close and until two weeks ago they never spoke. There were those rare occasions in school where they would be paired up for projects, but that was it. Why would he make something like that up? Her fingers wrapped around the handle to the car door and she thrust it open. Temperance unbuckled the seat belt and scooped up her backpack in one hand. "I-I should go..." she muttered before jumping out of the car. She ran to the front door without even bothering to close the car door.
Her eyes remained on the ceiling, as if it would provide answers somehow. She should have said more. She shouldn't have just ran out on him like that. She didn't even ask why. Why would she tell him she loved him? There had to be a reason, other than the obvious. She needed to know more, but Cherno was the only one with answers. Talking to him seemed out of the question. It was risky. Every time he opened his mouth she wasn't sure if she wanted to punch him or kiss him. Both sounded like likely options.

Temperance slammed her fists down on the bed beside her body and shut her eyes tightly. Something seemed different about him, but she wasn't sure what. With an exasperated groan and a reluctant sigh, she climbed out of bed and exited the guest room, making her way down the hall to where she had seen him slip in during a trip to the bathroom. Her hand hovered over the sleek wooden door, but finally she rapped her knuckles on the wood lightly. "Ch-Cherno... um... are you in there?"

The moment Harley began to play with the tips of her hair, Marina knew she had one. It was rather easy with this one, even if he was trying to show his dominance. Only one other person ever took control when they were together, and even he never tried so hard. Albeit, the back and for thing she seemed to have going on with Harley was entertaining. A surge of electricity coursed through her body. For a few minutes, he continued to play with her hair and then leaned in to place his lips to her ne--

"Harleeeeey!" sang a voice, and with a heavy, dismal sigh, Harley sat up and settled for resting his arm on the couch top behind Marina. Vanille hopped into the parlor, and in her hand was Kallisti. Harley sat up more straight as his cousin gave him a dirty look. Oh dear god! She rolled her eyes. What was with people always interrupting. Bronagh seemed to be great at ruining opportunities when she was with Theodore and now this. Marina's blue eyes turned steely as she glared at Vanille. She would pay for this later.

"She just got here ~" Vanille sang, still holding onto Kallisti's hand. Harley got to his feet, offering his own hand to Marina. She took it and smiled brightly at him as she stood. With her free hand, Marina scooped up her phone and cards off the table and clutched them between her fingers and her palm.

"Your drive was okay?" Harley asked his cousin and she nodded, slightly stiff, eying his hand holding Marina's, "Lee was home?" A mute reply with a shake of her head. Who was Lee? Her father perhaps? Marina was not given the opportunity to interject. Everyone just kept on talking. How annoying. "Kallisti, this is Marina, Marina, my cousin, Kallisti." he said, and began to laugh. What was so funny?

She and Harley would have to continue at a later date. This could be fun. He seemed to be just as dominating as she was, but in her professional life, she was often rather submissive--whatever it took to please the client. The sound of footsteps echoed immediately after and a familiar pink-haired boy came walking into the parlor. ❝Good morning, everybody.❞ said the boy, ❝My name is Casey, it's nice to meet you all.❞ Marina smiled at him. Casey always made her feel better and she did not even have to offer herself to him. He enjoyed the words she spoke and the divinations she shared with him. Praise was never too far behind when Casey was involved.

He had died his hair black? That was a shame. She quite enjoyed his pink hair. It added character. If only he would cut it. . .

Marina forced herself to appear more pleased than she actually was. "Kallisti, it is a pleasure to see you again. Last time things ended under rather unfortunate circumstances." She squeezed Harley's hand, but kept her eyes on his cousin. "I am glad to see you have yet to hurt yourself. Thank you for coming. They did not give you too much hassle at the gate did they? I mean, we cannot have random strangers rolling in whenever they so please, but they were informed to let any--" she paused, "teenagers, they saw in today." Marina almost did not catch herself. Lower class citizens, slobs, poor people. Ah, but I suppose that does not necessarily apply to Miss Lein or Mister Jackson. They live with the common folk, but were not born into the middle class. She pursed her lips and nodded at Casey. "So glad you could join us hon."

Her eyes swept over everyone briefly before glancing across the hall to the dining room. "There is food in the dining room for anyone that is hungry. I figured we could take it into the living room and have everyone gather there." She squeezed Harley's hand once more before letting go. The tips of her fingers played with his until she stepped away, her heels clicking as she did so. "Feel free to follow me, otherwise it is just down the hall this way and to the left. Should you see any of the others, let them know where we are headed. I shall see you all in there." Marina flipped her hair over her shoulder and smirked as she exited the parlor. She waved her fingers goodbye at Harley before walking around the corner and out of sight.

Deviating from his routine always ruined Elliot's balance but it had to be done. For today he woke early enough to get food from the kitchen and with it he retreated to the guest room he was stating in. This way there would be no problems with removing his mask in front of people.

Once finished he went to return the plate and glass he had used, finding servants now roaming about. It was embarrassing, but now they were the ones who had to clean the dishes. After that he set himself up to leave but had always been taught it'd be rude without saying anything, but before saying his farewells to the host he wished to see what his friends were doing. They were the only reason why he was here after all. So his search for them began.

Casey smiled as he glanced at everybody in the room but did not expect such a welcoming welcome from the masked girl. Blinking one as the girl shook his hand, Casey closed his eyes and grinned happily "Its nice to meet you...err again...or would this technically be our first...time travel is hard on the mind" Casey said happily as he shook her hand back. Just seeing her energy brightened up the pink haired teen's mood and it was a great departure from the dull classy people that resided in the manor. She spoke of meeting before but he definitely did not recall meeting the girl at all. At first he assumed that he probably met her before without the mask, but when she spoke of his future hair it became apparent to him. It wasn't really a surprise that she was from the future as well. If Marina was from the future then surely others could have been as well.

"Dye...my hair...black?" Casey said almost dumbfound at the idea. Immediately Casey smacked his hand on his forehead and groaned "Dye my hair...why the hell didn't I ever think of doing that" Casey said as he smiled happily at Vanille "So your saying I look more like a boy if I dye it! That amazing" Casey said with glee. The thought of being treated more like a boy than a girl was amazing and he was so grateful to the girl for telling him of this wonderful fact. Glancing over at Marina as she instructed them, Casey smiled happily as he followed the girl

    NIGHTMARE 281
    [IMG]

He opened his eyes to the low ceiling of a dim, candle-lit room painted black. The overwhelming scent of honey and licorice stung at his nose, and it didn't take long for him to tune into the sound of heavy rainfall...No, it wasn't rain...It was a waterfall. Right outside of the room. He could feel the cool mist of the falls tickling at the back of his neck through the farthest barred window. Ah, yes...he knew where he was. He turned further into the blankets and rubbed his forehead against the scratchy fabric for confirmation. The feeling was numb and tingly, and when he finally pushed himself into a sitting position on the plush, warm mattress, his movements felt hazy and thick, like syrup.

    This was a dream.

His chest felt heavy and the tips of his fingers were numb. He was just about to stand himself up when he heard a familiar, whispery voice coming from the left of him.

    Theodore...

Without warning or logical explanation, the strawberry-milk haired girl was sitting beside him wearing her usual white dress, thick french vanilla colored knee-high socks and black strapped shoes. Her deep raspberry eyes were wide with wonder. She was happy to see him again. He couldn't lie and say that he wasn't happy to see her too, but... His heart lurched when she pressed a soft cheek into his shoulder and closed her eyes.

They stayed there for a few moments of silence. It was always difficult to know what to say to her. So familiar...but she felt too far away, and he felt too out of place.

It wouldn't stay like this for long, though. The scene would change and suddenly everyone would be in danger...There would be another person here to hand him a sword, and then he would be expected to fight. He grimaced. What a weird situation. He would never get used to these dreams.

    Where is the swor...--?

The email is real, you know...Your friends aren't crazy. You should hear them out.

    Well...this was new.

Rhia laughed. An airy, bell like sound that made his heart sink further into his stomach, and made him feel like crying.
    What?

Your face! You're like a grumpy grandfather. How old are you again? She tilted her chin up to allow her eyes to gaze into his playfully while her fingers slid their way inbetween his own. The warmth of her hand made melted away his irritation and made him sigh. Just hear them out...and try not to make this whole thing a waste, will you? Time traveling is rare...
If you know so much about all of this, why don't you do something to stop it? If it's real then it's fucked up and I don't want to deal with it. ...I admit, it makes a lot more sense when I'm here, dreaming, but as soon as I wake up, I won't believe it's possible anymore. Can't you do something?

Have you forgotten already? I'm just a dream, Theodore. I can't possibly do anything.
Bullshit. I've been so called dreaming of you ever since I can remember. He felt her flinch and immediately try to yank her hand away from his. Panicking, he dropped her fingers and scooted back in the bed into the right corner. He apologized shakily under his breath and tried without success to stop himself from trembling. She rubbed the red back of her hand and her lips fell into a frown.

    ❝...I just can't. More honestly, I won't. I don't want to become like her.
    Yeah, so you just watch.

    You don't understand.

What's there to understand? You could help, but you don't, because you're scared. That's all I'm seeing to this. You know, if people are in danger and you do nothing to help, you're just as bad as the people putting them in that danger. That's why you frustrate the hell out of me--!

What do you want me to do, Theodore?! You want me to stop her? Okay, fine! Let me just end this whole game. Let me just erase all of you! You want to not exist so badly? No...How about you stop putting the blame on me and just win! It isn't hard, Theo!

It would be a lie to say that he understood everything perfectly, but he could take a way a couple of things. First, she was crying, so she meant it. Two, Lady Cr--Marina had already told him about the not-existing thing, so perhaps Rhia...Oh.

❝...You want me to win, so that I'll 'exist?'

Rhia didn't answer. She just sat there and tried to stop the tears from coming, avoiding letting him see her face. His heart beat quickened and his face started to burn.

It isn't hard, right...? Will you...help me?

    Wake up. Before she comes.

    ...?

Before he could ask if Rhia meant the monster that would inevitably turn this dream into a nightmare, he felt his breath become trapped in his lungs and his eyes snapped open and he was back in the guest room at Marina's.

He felt like he hadn't even been sleeping, all traces of grogginess were completely absent. Instead, his stomach rumbled and he found himself getting up, getting dressed into the same clothes (ew) and heading instinctively down to the dining hall.

The girl who had introduced herself as Vanille Frost was very strange, and Kallisti made note to be wary of her, for one should never trust those who wear a literal mask to hide their face.

She was extremely displeased to be thrust into that parlor, into that situation with Harley, where another girl was in his hand. He knew that she didn't like to see that, especially from him. She had been disgusted, but politely masked it as not to be rude to her hostess.

" Kallisti, " She tried her best not to glare at the girl, deciding that she already didn't like her. No one referred to her as Kallisti. She hated that. " it is a pleasure to see you again. Last time things ended under rather unfortunate circumstances. " Hmm, she wondered what kind of unfortunate circumstances. Perhaps she had put an arrow in her? They had gotten into some sort of fight? She had been coaxed into a small, tight space where they were all nearly killed?

Her sharp blue eyes followed down to where Marina's hand was connected to Harley's but masked her disgust perfectly. They were getting off on the wrong foot.

" . . . did not give you too much hassle at the gate did they? "

" No, they did not. " she replied, her voice smooth and clear of all negative emotions. She hoped no one touched her violin in the back seat. Perhaps it hadn't been the best idea to leave it there, but if disaster just happened to befall her home again, it would be best if it stayed with her.

She raised an eyebrow upon hearing the pause Marina gave, and nearly rolled her eyes. Of course, what did she expect? A high class, daughter-of-a-senator to be accepting of the lower classes? She watched the hand exchange of Marina and Harley.

She then left them, and Kallisti looked to Harley. " You are extremely disgusting. " she said sharply.

" Happy to see you again, too, love. " he told her, stepping forward and closer to her, " Jealous? "

Kallisti laughed coldly, " Whoever would be jealous of one of your whores, darling? " she said, after the two of them were left alone in the room, " And I am your cousin. What do I care of what you do in the bedroom? "

They were now standing in too close of a proximity, " I'unno, maybe you're into incest. "

It took all she had not to slap him, " Come, your Miss Marina awaits us. " and she walked out of the room, fixing her teal cardigan at the shoulder where Harley had tugged at it. Vanille had been waiting outside of the door for the both of them and chastised them playfully for taking so long. Kallisti smiled at her, glared at Harley, and then followed the skipping girl as she called after Casey.

The three of them arrived in the dining hall and Vanille seemed excited upon seeing another boy with dark, short hair and green eyes, " Theodore! " she said happily, hopping over to him and shaking his hand vigorously, " It's nice to see you again ~ "

Kallisti observed the boy she was talking to, but felt she didn't recognize him at all. If he was a friend of Marina's, he was no doubt no better than she was. She took a seat at the table and when the servant offered her food, she coolly rejected and he was on his way.

YOU CAN BE PRETTY CRUEL WHEN YOU WANT TO, HUH? I do not like people, it is my general nature. THAT'S NOT WHAT I SEE WITH THE MOORE GIRL. You keep that to yourself. Madeline is different. DOUBTFUL. Kal, I will not have it, shut up. YEEEEES MA'AM!

Coming was a bad idea, she decided. Perhaps it could be made more interesting. Of course, that interesting might be disaster and death. Then again, she supposed so long as it wasn't hers . . . She wasn't quiet ready to die yet.
