Now that he knew this was real and was told they could actually change things Anthony decided to stop questioning himself and focus on the task at hand. Right...save them... The two girls he did not like, but he still couldn't stand around and do nothing.

But now that he thought on it he had no idea why they were killed. He barely even spoke to them, even with the email tying their souls together. Maybe that was why so many had died...that lack of communication.

"Yeah, I think I can... I have to, actually. Have no clue why they were targeted though..."

When Ben entered the coffee shop, he was completely out of breath. He surveyed his surroundings. Marina sat at a table, with four others standing near it. Elliot was there, and so was that one boy who had been with them on the helicopter... Theodore, right? He recognized the other two, a feminine boy with pink hair, and a blonde boy smoking a cigarette, but he could not recall their names. No Olivia... At least, not yet. Still, he felt relief wash over him.
"Marina..." His throat tightened, his vocal cords straining to create sound.

His eyes snapped open. Terror. Darkness. Joy. Blue eyes. White wand. Why was his room so awfully dark? He felt so sick. Was he daydreaming and had fallen asleep? He was feeling tired on top of his sickness. He stayed in bed. What was the point, God of going through this? He bit his lip in thought. He was a prophet? Nah, he disliked people too much. Either way, this was the Lord's doing. He would need to sit down and think. Winning this game and deciphering the purpose of living this life was still inconceivable. He stood up and stretched.

He was naked. Why was he naked? He had no reason to be- Oh. Blonde. Rail thin beauty. Piercer gaze to rival his own. His face turned into a blushing frown, no time for that. Break down. A deal. Running from the room. Pronounced dead. He shook his head to dispel his current thought process. He glared at the door as the knock upon it came just as he expected. He wrapped a blanket around himself and let her enter since the door was already unlocked. "Go away. No one wants you here. And go flip some damn burgers for money. Harlot. Now get out of my room." He smiled in the dark, feeling a pang of sadness. Such a great nun, if only she wasn't so dumb. He sighed and rolled about in his blankets for comfort, forgetting about the other person in the room while he began to plan out the next phase of this blessed chance.

Amazingly enough, Harley's words seemed to help. He didn't even know he had it in him, but he was satisfied with their results.

" Yeah, I think I can . . . " Anthony said, " I have to actually. Have no clue why they were being targeted, though. "

The gears in Harley's mind began to work their wonders. What did those two girls have in common that got them both killed in the same way, at the same time, in the same place? Their personalities were very similar in some ways, and they were both involved in the shady type . . . Hmm.

Suicide? He didn't think it was a suicide, from what Vanille explained to him. Someone killed them - but who? It had to be Crestatia. Definitely. Whoever her vessel at the time was didn't matter. It was why they died.

Did they tell anyone outside of the people from the email? He had no way of knowing. They were both in this hotel, right now. He looked over his shoulder at the clerk. Of course. He could ask which rooms they were staying in. Neither of them would trust him for sure, but he had his ways.

He held his hand up to Vanille and Anthony, then walking over to the clerk's desk, " Hello, " he said, and the man looked up at him, " Could you tell me the room numbers of Madeline Moore and Temperance Spike? "

The man looked at him for a long moment, trying to find ulterior motives behind his question, but when finding none, shrugged, " Madeline Moore would be in room 318, and Temperance Spike would be in room 415. "

Room 318. That was Kallisti's room. Ah.

" I think I might have found something, " he said when he came back to Anthony and Vanille.

" What, what is it? " Vanille asked anxiously, bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet.

Only once, briefly, or maybe a few times . . . He had seen the way Kallisti acted around her, and he knew, there was something there. Friends? Neither of them were the type for each other in friendship. Well, regardless, he knew that they had to have some sort of . . . thing going. But he would need confirmation.

" I'm going to find Kallisti, " he said, " Vanille, you go find Madeline. " And then he looked to Anthony, " Unfortunately, The Evil Temptress - " Temptress. Temptress . . .

    Ah.

" Hey, Anthony . . . " he said, thinking on it and forgetting his cousin for just a moment, " Why do you call her that, anyway? 'The Evil Temptress', I mean. "

With Harley gone for the moment Anthony was finally able to give the girl a proper amount of his attention. And naturally he had noticed it before, but only now did he give the mask any thought. What was it for? Maybe she was a hero as well, she had time traveled as well after all. Perhaps he should have hidden his identity...

Unfortunately he had spent too much time thinking instead of actually asking about it so they had been rejoined by Harley before Anthony said anything to the girl.

"What did you find?" So curious...it was painful.

No answer. Just assignments. The pain of not knowing grew but he didn't fuss over it as he had to listen. And when it came time for him to speak again it seemed that he had to give an answer of his own. Unfair.

"Uh... All cheerleaders are evil, as I was forced to uncover the hard way. And it's obvious she is a temptress, I mean, just look at her name. Wasn't so smart covering it up."

" Uh . . . All cheerleaders are evil, as I was forced to uncover the hard way. " Cheerleaders. That's right, Temperance had been a cheerleader. She had a boyfriend.

It had to be the 'NO ROMANCE' rule. That had to be it. Harley gave a laugh at the rest of his answer.

" Okay, " he said, " I . . . think that the two of them broke the same rule, 'no romance'. If it was at the same time, or during the same . . . time frame, I don't know. It seems like a pretty big deal, so it had to have been today. Or. Tonight, actually. " he explained.

Say that Madeline confessed her love for Kallisti - just a thought, a guess, he didn't even know if they went into that or something, who would Temperance have confessed to? She had a boyfriend, but they weren't together anymore, or did he hear that school gossip wrong? Probably not. They were together before the email was sent. So what happened after? Maybe she ended it because she was scared, but she still loved him anyway?

Confessed her love for him tonight? Ehh, that didn't feel . . . right.

" Who would Temperance tell she loved, or confessed to, tonight? " He looked to Anthony, " What happened the last time, before everyone went to sleep? Anything . . . big that had to do with Temperance. Spotted in the baths? Met someone? "

He had only actually seen them together once but due to their time together on the monorail and the reaction given from her name...he had a pretty good guess why it happened now, thanks to Harley's information.

"Cherno was...is here. And I think the Master of Logic fell under her spell. Even after she...went away he missed her, I think."

Ah. Did this mean he was in danger as well? Without his memory he was probably spared, however if the older one time traveled like he had then he could remember Temperance. This was of course amusing if his memory was any better in the future. The two lost contact for the most part then of course he had no idea if the rewind happened right after his death or later on. If it was later than he would have no way of knowing what happened after that point.

So maybe if he just found Cherno, since he had a good idea where that one would be and not a clue where Temp was, and kept him from seeing the temptress both would be safe... But if the other time traveled too it didn't seem right keeping him from his chance to see her again. So in that case he would have to be that third wheel... They could hate him for it at first but would thank him later.

Yes Theodore thank you for coming. I am Marina Sario, but you most certainly know that already, right? We have met prior,

Sure, her name was familiar but he really didn't remember meeting her. Instead of arguing it, he nodded once and stayed quiet, pulling a chair out for him to sit in and finish his coffee. It truly was a strange time to be meeting, and he still didn't know why he was here.

S-so... Why did you call us here? I hope it doesn't take long, classes will be starting soon.

    Perfect timing.

I would ever so wish to wait until Olivia, Dylan, and Benjamin arrive; but this is of the utmost importance. It is about that strange email I know all of you received twelve days ago.

Slowly, he took another sip of his coffee and perked an eyebrow.

100 days....Psychic Mari, have you seen something important about it?

Hah. Pyschic. He rolled his eyes. Someone else sat down without saying anything and Theodore was tempted to leave. This was getting cramped. Instead, he propped his elbows up onto the table and smirked.

Are you the one who sent that? I've been wondering who would start a chain letter like that. What a load of bull.

The last part was muttered under his breath.

Anthony looked a bit thoughtful at his question, " Cherno was . . . is here. " he replied. Cherno . . . Cherno . . . Cherno Plume? " And I think the Master of Logic fell under her spell. Even after she . . . went away, he missed her, I think. "

Cherno Plume, the Master of Logic, and Temperance Spike, the Evil Temptress. Harley wanted to laugh, what a match.

But the real question about it was . . . Was there anything really there? Did Cherno confess or was it Temperance? He assumed the latter, because she was the one that died. When had they gotten so close? In school, they were in two completely different classes of people, but here, in this class of email, could they really match up? She was a feisty one, but Cherno was a patient, couldn't see bad in pretty much . . . anyone.

. . . He guessed it could work.

" I wonder where Temperance is now . . . " he said thoughtfully, and then looked at Vanille. She was gazing around the lobby, as if looking for someone who might be listening to them.

He sat down on the cushioned bench, next to Anthony, trying to think this all through. This was pretty crazy. Both Anthony and Vanille . . . 'time traveled' and now they knew what would happen next. Now, here he was, with them, trying to save the lives of two girls he really didn't care for emotionally. He . . . guessed he didn't mind, but if that email was true, and they really were going to die in . . . what, eighty-eight days, then what did prolonging their lives until then matter?

But when he looked at Anthony, he decided that it did matter. The kid had experienced their deaths once, his own death once . . . So maybe it was kind of worth it, for him.

" Anthony, " he started, " I think it'd be a good idea for you to keep an eye on Cherno. I don't know him that well, so he probably wouldn't be that compelled to listen to me. It might also be good to check in on Temperance if you can." he explained, standing up and stretching, " Since Kallisti is my . . . close relation, I'll keep an eye on her, and Madeline, " He glanced at Vanille. Her shoulders were slightly sagged and he figured she was a bit down because she wasn't exactly involved, even though she had traveled, too.

" As for you, " he said to her, " You should keep an eye on both Madeline and Temperance. We'll have an eye on all four of them. I think that between the three of us, we'll be able to save them, what say you? "

    Vanille nodded vigorously.

" Alright. We've got our jobs, we should get to them. " he told the both of them, and before he could wave goodbye to Vanille, she was off. What a strange chick.

He waved to Anthony, and set off, " Good luck, Hero. "

I think it's fate or something... Every hero gets a second chance after all, right? Oh! Like um... Some movie where they went back...what was the name... Time travel! I am either dead or time traveling! And now with you two- Two...three? Where did Quin go...

Before she could really wrap her head around it and try to figure out what kind of wonderful psychic mage this boy could have been to time travel, they were gone. All three of them. She was tempted to follow the boy to the lobby, but she needed to check in with Simon before doing anything like that. He would be worried for her, after all.

She closed her eyes and took a deep, spiritually cleansing breath of air.

When she opened her eyes, she shot off down the halls in a sprint, being sure to slow down when she approached any corners or turns. She had no trouble ignoring the stares she got as she maneuvered through the spotty crowds of people and down through the lobby, this time, as she was completely focused now.
She did not know why Simon had left so fast. Why didn't he wait for her?

She searched the buffet first, but there was no sign of him. Odd...considering that's where they had been headed. Next, she headed to the baths...But then something stopped her. She wasn't going to go into the men's hotspring, no way! She whimpered and shifted from foot to foot in conflict. In a much smaller voice than last time, she called out into the men's locker room.
    S-Simon?
Timidly, she made her way to the front desk, ignoring the people around her. It took a few moments to be paid any attention, but once she was noticed a kind looking lady asked her what she needed.

    I'm looking for my brother...S-Simon Lewis. I can't find him a-anywhere.

Why was she crying? Tears fell down her cheeks as she offered the necessary information and explained her situation in detail. The woman's face was extremely grim for a moment before turning sympathetic, and it frightened Eleanora. Had she said something wrong?

The lady made a call and then directed the girl to the lobby. Her name was Anne...Anne. She prepared a nice cup of hot chocolate and also offered her a blanket. She was to wait for Simon to answer a call from the lodge's intercom on one of the couches. She did not like staying here, but she did not feel like she had a choice.

    Anne...

That woman's name made her nauseous. It reminded of her someone...Or something.

    Why did...it...

MY, MY, MY...HELLO, JOHN. WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU TODAY?

    . . .
YOU MAY REFER TO ME AS ENNY...THAT IS ALL. DO NOT CALL ME ANYTHING ELSE. ...IT SEEMS YOU HAVE FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO BRING ME FORTH. CONGRATULATIONS!!!FOR THAT, I WILL BESTOW UPON YOU THE GIFT OF IMMORTALITY! ...JUST KIDDING. CRESTATIA WOULD NOT LIKE THAT VERY MUCH. WE DO NOT WANT TO UPSET HER, NOW DO WE? AHAHAHAHAHA. NOW WHAT EXACTLY DID YOU CALL ME OUT FOR? I DO NOT HAVE ALL OF ETERNITY, YOU KNOW-PFFF-AHAHA. ...PLEASE DO NOT WASTE MY TIME, HUUUUMAN. WHAT DO YOU WANT? HMMMM? TELL ME WHAT YOUR HEART DESIRES...

Eleanora dropped the mug of hot chocolate and gasped. The dark, sweet liquid soaked into the rug.

    John!

She was just about to shed off her scarf and hat when the silhouette spoke. He had a young, monotonous voice that sent a shiver down her spine.

"Go away. No one wants you here. And go flip some damn burgers for money. Harlot. Now get out of my room."

    ...

    Wait, what?

No, no, don't get too ahead of yourself, Madeline, maybe he's drunk...or high.

"U-Um. Excuse me? ...Ben tells me you already paid half...Why cancel now? Once we're through, I'll ask for the rest, Okay? ...Or maybe I have the wrong room? Listen...I promise it will be worth it."

Panic swelled up in her chest. If she messed this up and came back empty handed, Reuben would not be pleased. Maybe she was late and he had already taken care of himself? Or ...was this really the wrong room? ...She needed this money, and she needed this deal.

Wait, he called her a harlot! He knew what she was there for, then. He MUST have been expecting her. This fucker wasn't going to call for her just to ruin her day and waste her time.

Hell, why was it so dark in here?! She couldn't even tell what she was dealing with! He sounded rather young though...Young boys were easy to manipulate, right? He just needed some persuasion...
She plopped down rather aggressively on the edge of her bed and the top of the mattress bounced up with her force. Blushing, she nearly snorted and apologized...But maybe he was into this? Maybe he wanted force so he was being coy. Tch. No matter. She pulled her scarf away and unbuttoned her top.

Before she knew it, she was on top of him wearing only her panties, sitting on the sheet he had himself bundled up in and straddling him.

"Listen asshole, I need this. If you really want to pussy out now then at least give me my money and I'll go. Otherwise..."

Madeline lifted her hips just enough to rip the sheet away from between them and pin his arms above his head.

    "We're going to fuck."

    xxxxx
xxxxxLike a clock, he was back.

    Like a bird, she returned.

The young boy, whose thoughts would provoke the mightiest world-stretching deeds through time and space, and whose vectors lay like vespers across an ocean, held his mind to the bright sun and relished in the renewal of a limitless spring. His eyes were closed and he saw only darkness. The primordial waters of creation ebbed in their soothing warmth around his toes, through his fingers, riding currents and dancing around his arms and legs and enclosing him in the hand of womb-like contentment. He saw nothing, but felt all, and as if in direct contrast to his stringent sense of logic, what only existed for him in this universe was feeling.

That is, until he heard the call of an old wind among his ear, and opened his eyes.

The young girl, whose voice sent laments and sweet serenades to the infinite stars in heaven, who would dance and churn in her gavottes around the artificial and the organic to combine these worlds and thus unite what pasts lay in her shattered thought, answered the voiceless whisper of the maiden towards the great coffee house, and with a haste that cracked the droplets of rain hanging upon her heart, moved with a sylph-like swiftness of serpentine step to relay her own rallying cry of reality. She knew very well that this reality was not a reality that existed, and her prophetic arias were to be heard by those trapped within this Allegory of the Cave.

That is, at the point when she entered the small store, and opened her mouth, happy to relive these memories back in her own body -- once again whole, not again in fragments and pieces like it would soon be in the far future.

    ---

And as he opened his eyes, the harbour wave of realization washed over him.
What was this feeling; this primordial sea that wafted around him in a warm slowness? Cherno realized that out of all places, he was back in the hot spring. The warm water tickled and waltzed around the tips of his toes, and the thick steam clouded around him like bees to honey. Cherno stretched out a reddened hand, away from the sea and towards the cold winds, and the frozen mountain air mingled with the warmth of his trembling fingers.

    This--
    This was--

    They-- were they back?
    Could they be back?

    Cherno widened his eyes.
It was as if he was given another chance. This was the day he forgot everything, and here-- here he was. He gulped. Hold it together, Cherno.

Here he was, and he knew.

But ... but that meant ...

Cherno shot up, the warm spring water cascading and falling around him, as if at that very moment a great marine beast rose from its throne within the dormant sea.

    He could save them.

    She could save them.

    Ahahaha.
What was it that the other one used to say? He wanted to save everyone. Save everyone? She would ponder at night how far he would truly go. Would that be for the best? Nonsense, nonsense.
She had always been a cowardly girl, hadn't she? Well of course, this was her chance, and she wouldn't let it go in the least.

Ishmael Coffee wasn't her sort of locale. As she entered the stout brick cube, with its rustic letters and wooden signs, the wasp-like, biting scent of coffee beans struck her nostrils with a sharp intensity. Aaack. She would have to get through this quickly.

Off on the table sat the others. And--
    And--

For a split moment, her eyes widened. Her hand, white in nervousness, white in fear, white from gripping tightly to her large purse, trembled. It was a small movement, almost unnoticeable, and for a split second, but in this time, the voice of her heart had been hit with the crack of thunder.

    Miss Sario and Ben.
    In the flesh.
    They were--
    This truly was--
    Was--

Ah ... why, why was she at a loss of words? Olivia, you were always good with speaking. Why were would acting like this? Foolish girl! Stay calm, now.

Olivia smiled a cunning smile as she met the eyes of her Brookridge friends. All healthy. All seemingly running their lives as course, as they would on this particular month ... unknowing of the future, and what was to happen ...

With an extreme quiet within the coffeeshop upon her arrival, her loud steps beat against the mahogany floor as she slid over to the table and brought out her purse ...

    Cherno's hands were shaking.
His wet fingers slid gently across his phone. Uuuugh. It was getting cold. His legs rattled and shivered, a towel roughly slung around his waist, with the drip-drip of the water echoing through the quiet spring.
And there it was, the text. The familiar text.

    Fuck.
    Fuck.

He was about to cry. He was about to fucking cry and how long had it fucking been god fucking dammit why was this happening what the fuck was going on ...

And John too ... and-- and the others ...

    Cherno clenched his teeth ...

Olivia slammed the book loudly on the table.
Viola, flying by her shoulder, let out a chirp before landing upon the book.

It was one of her favourites, brought over from the Brookridge Library. Corner shelf, seventh floor. An old tome, that was an anthology of some of the best literary works she had ever read.

She tapped the cover, and winked up at Miss Sario, before taking her seat between dear Ben and the foolish malchik.
Did they remember anything? She would surely find out soon enough.

Olivia closed her eyes and opened her mouth, her voice gentle and silvery. Oh, how she missed her very own dulcet tones ...

"It is a pleasure to see all of you ... again! Now, I hope you do not mind my bringing of this book, perhaps it may help. All of you should take a look at this when you can, I should say." She sighed and closed her eyes. "It is a very good read, and it certainly ... defines our current predicament."

She gently nudged malchik with her elbow.

"But we should begin soon, please, unless we are waiting for anyone else, may we perhaps discuss what is on your mind, Miss Sario?"

She would try and comment often, but a little at a time, like poor old Cherno.

He would try and text often, but a little at a time, like poor old --

Ah. He still was unable to remember the name of that girl. The one-- the one in the strange laboratory. Did it still exist? It was-- ah, Cherno-- just send the damn text already, and stop distracting yourself.

He sent it, and almost dropped his phone.

    ... Ah ...
Where was she? Where was her room?
John? Where was John? Was he here?

He wanted to bump into somebody; anybody.
Cherno wrapped the towel tighter around his waist and quickly ran towards the other structures of the springs.

Was ... was this really happening?

Was ... was this really happening?

    Of course it was, Olivia.
You would have to stay calm in this situation, even if it was certainly a challenge.
She gently rapped her fingers against her lap below the table, calmly waiting on Miss Sario.

Let it be hoped that a few others here recalled the timeline to come.

Let's hope that some of the others -- please, anyone that he bumped into -- would remember the timeline to come.

They were all the souls of the rain, and their voices were a chorus of the future. They could change things. They were the Being that existed in the heart of the future.

They were all like points on a line that extended past a grid into infinity; a vector, with a never-reaching limit, or an asymptote that would fly forward into the future of their Time.

Because, of course, she would be Being.

    and he would be Time.

"aaaaaaaand everything is done!" Altair said with a smile as he received a key and held it up in front of Heidi. That smile made her so incredibly happy. She longed to see it again, like it had been an eternity since the last time she had seen it. That was strange. Why did she feel that way? That's what we're trying to understand deary. "we've got ourselves a room that we will be sharing...after all I really do not want to leave you all alone" Altair said with a smile as he placed his hand on top of her head "we are here to relax...and relax we shall" Altair said as he closed his eyes with a grin. She smiled back. He wasn't going to leave her. I promise I'll always be there for you. Huh? Where did that come from? "When entering the bathroom we will be separated due to the separate gender bathrooms, but other than that I want you to stick with me, alright?" Altair said as he lowered his arm. She nodded, agreeing.

"Sounds like fun." She followed him along to the room. Something about this felt different, like it wasn't supposed to happen this way. What's going on? Heidi nibbled on her lower lip, anxiety beginning to take control. "Altair," she started softly, "does something... feel weird?" She just couldn't put her finger on it.

Marina almost burst into tears at the sight of Benjamin. She was so happy to see him alive. Saying goodbye hurt almost as badly as dying. And Dylan! Oh god Dylan. He did not understand. None of them did. She only hoped Benjamin remembered as well. She stood from her seat and approached the shorter brunette in a tight hug. "Ben, I am so glad to see you alive." She patted him on top of the head before returning to the chair at the table. Did he know what she meant? If he did not remember dying then she would look absolutely insane. As everyone gathered round, the urge to cry grew that much stronger, but she would not. Crying was for the weak. She was far from it.

100 days....Psychic Mari, have you seen something important about it?❞ Casey startled her. She glanced at the pink haired boy and knit her brows. They had no idea.

Are you the one who sent that? I've been wondering who would start a chain letter like that. What a load of bull.❞ She shook her head in dismay. If only it was just a chain letter.

Marina watched as the petite white-haired girl entered the coffee shop and she sighed in relief. Everyone was here. She watched as Olivia took a seat between Benjamin and Elliot before speaking. "It is a pleasure to see all of you ... again! Now, I hope you do not mind my bringing of this book, perhaps it may help. All of you should take a look at this when you can, I should say." She sighed and closed her eyes. "It is a very good read, and it certainly ... defines our current predicament." She gently nudged Elliot with her elbow. "But we should begin soon, please, unless we are waiting for anyone else, may we perhaps discuss what is on your mind, Miss Sario?"

"No and no. I did not see anything, I lived it. So did the rest of you. I also did not send that thing. It is far more serious than any chain letter could ever be. And I am grateful for your presence Olivia. That email was very serious. Dylan," she paused and slid her phone across the table with the email on display, "here. I know you have not viewed it yet. It is real, and I have already died from it. Somehow, I am not sure how, but the clock has been turned back. When I died, it was Christmas Eve, along with Benjamin." She looked to him for reassurance, praying he remembered. "It sounds crazy, but it is real. Something big is happening tonight in regards to that email, but since it has to do with the Bellhurst students that will soon be attending our school, I do not recall what it was. There will be an announcement on Friday stating that the students from Bellhurst in Coy will be coming to stay with us and attend our school since theirs' was ruined in the flood. A flood that happened because of this email."

She looked at Theodore sternly. "You do not remember, but we were in a helicopter crash together." Marina pointed between him and Dylan. "The two of you swapped bodies at one point in time. I was sharing one with this frustratingly obtuse Bellhurst girl by the name of Bronagh. Elliot, you were swapped with one of the new students and Benjamin-" she paused, resisting the urge to giggle. The fact that he had been swapped with Olivia was hard to get past. "Benjamin sweetie was in Olivia's body and vice versa." She pursed her lips in frustration. This sounded crazy. None of them would believe her.

Temperance sat in the warm water of the hot spring and closed her eyes, inhaling the steam. It felt invigorating, but strange. Something about being here didn't feel right. Her eyelids snapped open, staring at the steaming water that surrounded her. Why did it suddenly feel so ominous? There was a throbbing in her wrist that didn't belong and she covered it with her other hand. Her black hair dipped into the warm bath and she tipped her back on the rock, staring up into the sky. What was wrong with her?

Her green-eyed gaze drifted to the wall separating her from the men. She wondered who was over there. Don't. I can't think about him. I don't care if he is here. As far as I'm considered, he's dead to me. There was an ache in her chest that refused to go away. He wasn't important. He didn't matter. A flutter ripped through her stomach and she hunched over in the bath. Her arms wrapped around her bare stomach and her bangs grazed the water. This thing inside of her couldn't stay. She needed to get rid of it. She needed to see him. What would he think once she told him what they created? It was a monster. She was a monster. Whether she liked Cherno or not, he would never be interested in her. It was obvious. No doubt he knew all the rumors and she never treated him kindly before. This email had brought them together, but they could never be more than what already stood in front of them. She was disgusting, no one would want her.

Sweat dripped down her forehead and she watched it fall into the bath. She saw a flash of red among the water and wondered what it could have been. Something was off. Something was definitely off about this place and she couldn't get rid of that sense of dread.

Ben felt Marina wrap her arms around him. After a moment of shock, he reciprocated her embrace, holding back tears.
"Ben, I am glad to see you alive." She remembered. He knew now for sure: it wasn't just a dream. When they broke their embrace, he took a seat near his roommate. Almost as soon as he sat down, Olivia entered the cafe and slammed a thick book on the table before taking a seat between them. Ben glanced at the title. In Search of Lost Time. Did she remember as well?
Marina began explaining the situation to those who had no recollection of it. "Somehow, I am not sure how, but the clock has been turned back. When I died, it was Christmas Eve, along with Benjamin." She turned her gaze toward him after these words. He gave a nod of support to his friend. Not to mention Cherno was with us... but they wouldn't know him yet, I suppose. He remained silent but attentive as she continued. He smiled a bit at the mention of the helicopter and the body-switching, but quickly frowned, remembering what had followed.

Elliot sat in silence as the 'meeting' began, soon finding himself staring with disbelief at Marina. Though the look was replaced with one of annoyance. It should not have been surprising that someone like her found a foolish email to be real. Though he had hoped she wouldn't have wasted anyone else's time with it.

Instantly this ordeal was marked off as something to be ignored but before he could stand to exit the building that...er, bodyguard? No, that wasn't it... Let's just skip his occupation, as it did not matter to Elliot.

That muscle head came in. And with him came the smell of smoke.

It caused him to cough even after the source had been put out, though once the thug looked at him the coughs were suppressed. Even his soon-to-be-made comment - that would have said something along the lines about how rude it was to enter a non-smoking zone doing the very thing it disallowed and not to mention how it would ruin their lungs - was held in his throat.

The guy may have killed him for it.

And so he remained in silence for a little longer. May as well, as there was still time to spare. He even ordered a drink to save for later, when he could safely remove his mask in the clean science room of his first stop. The other students were always late too, so no humans would be there to taint his air.

By the time he received it another opened the door to the coffee shop, drawing his attention from the silly group. Oh... Olivia.

The dolt entered with a rather large book, saying it was useful once she had taken a seat. It wasn't one he recognized, so this made no sense to the boy. He cared little for it even, being more annoyed by the nudge she gave him.

Today was very strange. It was only morning to boot.

To make it even weird the...socialite, to use a nicer term than what he originally thought of, began speaking of time travel and body switching. The subjects was something most interesting though when tied to the dealings of an email and its mysterious sender, spoken by someone who thought themselves as a psychic, it was discredited.

    He stood.

"P-pardon me... But I think I will rejoin the sane portion of society now."

Kallisti found herself wandering around the hotel without a goal in mind. She couldn't go back to her room - what if Madeline was still there? Not that it was necessarily a bad thing . . . Perhaps she should try the baths, maybe relaxing would help her.
That ominous, nauseating feeling had not yet left her, and she wondered why that was.
Maybe she had no real reason to worry. Still, it didn't seem like a very good idea to stay in the main area of the hotel, lest he should find her. Why was he here, anyway? How horrible - had he known she was coming? Had he followed her here? Why couldn't he just . . . leave her alone? Kallisti sighed and looked at the door to the locker room; she should go.
For now, she would leave and go somewhere else.
After a little while of walking, Kallisti realized that this place was actually very large and probably had many sections to explore - this was good, as she would like to be as far away from Harley as possible . . . She found herself in the lobby area, where there were many nice pieces of furniture and art around.
Kallisti walked across the lobby and soon found herself in the locker rooms, feeling the slight warmth of the springs that weren't too far away. Minding the other people around her, not that there were many, she picked a locker and opened it, finding a fluffy-looking towel and a white robe inside. She was wearing a lot of white today, wasn't she? In a quick enough pace, hoping no one watched her, Kallisti began to remove all of her clothing, using one arm to cover up her breasts and then pulling the towel from the locker, wrapping it tightly around her curvaceous form. The towel was soft . . . When she looked around, it seemed like no one saw her. She sighed in relief and then left for the baths.
How strange . . . This all felt so . . . deja-vu-ish. She couldn't help but feel that she had gone through these same exact motions before.
The area was wide and open to the sky, steam swirling up from the inviting baths. All of hermuscles began to relax, even before she had touched the water. It was nice, she thought to herself, as her feet padded against the stone ground. There was no one around either - Oh.
    There was.
And she almost cringed at the fact. Temperance Spike.
Kallisti recalled the events of Lacey's before it had exploded. That girl had been extremely rude to her, and really, Kallisti wouldn't have minded putting an arrow in her head. She would have wholly invited it, in fact.
Before she could think anymore, she felt some sort of relief at seeing Temperance, there, in the springs. Alive and well. The feeling almost disgusted her, but she couldn't help herself.
" Kallisti, " said someone from behind her, and she spun around. Oh. No. Harley. " Before you turn me down, I really need to talk to you. "
Hah! He must have known that she wasn't going to buy into that nonsense. She wouldn't dare give someone like him the time of day for anything. He probably only wanted to -
    " It's about Madeline. "
She stopped and looked at him. Then back at the baths. Then back at him. And glared.
But Harley was unaffected. In fact, at her reaction, his look as almost . . . pitiable, but honest. What was she even doing, considering letting him talk to her? She must be out of sorts.
    Most definitely.
Because twenty minutes later, she was sitting with him in a private deck, listening to what he had to say.

Altair's eyebrow raised upon hearing the words of Heidi and soon enough he realized the nagging feeling he felt wasn't something he alone just felt. "So you've felt it too" Altair said closing his eyes. Something felt off about this whole trip, he didn't know what it was but he couldn't just put his finger on it. "Heidi...something may be amiss...but at the moment we cannot say exactly what it is...so lets be wary alright? keep an eye out on things you find unusual and make sure to be careful alright" Altair said as he removed his sunglasses and glanced at her with his golden eyes with a smile "I want you to know...even if I am gone...even if this body turns to ash...I will always protect you" Altair said as he closed his eyes with a smile. He didn't know what beckoned this corny little speech, but he felt it was something he needed to desperately say. "Now then why don't we soak a bit in the hot springs and then talk once more" Altair said.

Casey remained calm and silent as he listened to her words. Here words were unbelievable and ridiculous, but despite this Casey listened and believed them nonetheless. Casey always believed what Marina said, he never really put as much trust in anybody as much as he did with Marina. If what she said about this email being true then Casey would believe her all the way. "I believe you Mari....but tell me Mari.... if you've been through all of it what are we suppose to do about it" Casey said looking up at her. "If we are going to die in 100 days then what is going to change?" Casey asked curiously. Surely if they followed the rules and lived their lives they would live till the 100th day and die.

Temperance's head snapped up at the sound of footsteps. A familiar dark-haired girl walked into the bath and she narrowed her eyes at her. Quintus. She greatly disliked the other girl, but something about her nagged at Temperance. What was she missing? Why did everything feel so strange? Before her peer could enter the bath, a blond male walked in behind her. Temperance sat as far away from them as possible, so the sounds of their voices were muffled. She wrapped her arms around herself, concealing her body under the hot steamy water. He wasn't paying her any attention anyway, not that it mattered. Harley Jackson was a pig. Her green eyes stayed locked on them until they exited the bath together. An overwhelming feeling of nausea hit her and the relaxing soak did not feel quite as nice anymore.

Temperance reached for the towel sitting beside her on the stone and stood up, wrapping it around her body. She eased out of the water and made her way around the bath and back into the locker room. She had no idea what to do now. She hadn't seen any of her friends, not that she really cared for them, and she didn't want to interact with the other members of the list. There was only one and he didn't matter, not anymore. Temperance approached her locker and pulled it open to gather her things. There was always the pill and the pot- that would provide her company. She dried off quickly and pulled on her clothes in the quiet of the locker room. Water drips echoed from the showers off to the left of her and she shook out her hair once.

She pulled her phone out of the locker last. Temperance had planned on just shoving it in her back pocket and being done with it, but the message light was flashing. She unlocked the screen to reveal a text waiting for her. Green eyes widened in shock at the sender.

She glared at the phone. What did any of that even mean? She was under the impression that he was done with her and now this? What could be so important? Temperance chewed on her lip in frustration. Should she go or not? Would he really come looking for her if she didn't? She pursed her lips as she clicked reply and walked out of the locker room. Might as well get this over with now. The sooner I see him, the sooner I can be done with him for good. I don't feel anything. I am imagining this pain in my chest. He doesn't matter to me.

Temperance walked out into the lobby. It was still alive with activity but she ignored all the others present. There was a small brunette girl wrapped up in a blanket on one couch drinking some sort of hot liquid. She paid her no mind and took a seat on the small sofa near the fireplace. Five minutes- if he didn't arrive by then, she was leaving. She was tired of wanting to see him. She needed to end any sort of whatever it was she was feeling. Cherno Plume would not be the death of her. Temperance glared angrily into the hearth. Flames crackled and she swore this seemed familiar as well. Maybe I'm sick. I should lie down after this.

She knew that Harley had told her to look after only Madeline and Temperance, but she was very curious about Cherno Plume and Kallisti . . .

Harley was definitely going for Kallisti first, so she decided to check out Temperance first. From the balcony of her hotel room, she could see the woman's bath area, and low and behold, there was her target, sitting in the bath! She made few movements so Vanille found her rather boring, but when she looked to her left, she saw the men's bathing area.

. . . Wait - why would they allow that!

But it was very lucky that she had looked when she did, because there was Cherno Plume! At the same time, both Cherno and Temperance walked into the building.

Vanille leaped from her balcony and jumped over her bed, running to the door and then down the hallway, they'd be meeting in the lobby, wouldn't they? No good, no good! Hopefully, Hero Anthony had seen Cherno was was keeping a hawk's eye on him.

She deemed the elevator too slow for her, so she took the stairs and jumped down and down until she was running out of the door that led to the lobby. She saw Kallisti and Harley walk into the elevator. He must be going to explain everything to her, right? She really hoped so, and hoped that he believed him, because if not they might be in bigbigbig trouble. Her face from under the mask contorted into a frown.

Quickly, before she was noticed, she took to a bench to watch events unfold.

She would have to hurry to find Madeline next.

    Cherno rushed into the hall.
There she was. There she was!
Ah-- ahaha ... And the others! They were all here! He could hardly breathe.

He ran over to Temperance and looked her in the eyes with a set, determined expression.
He would not mess this up, no.

"Sister, sister, I need to tell you something important.
I don't really know stancin' if you'll believe me, but hear me out."

    Cherno breathed in deeply.

"Something bad could happen to you tonight -- something real bad, to you, and to our sister M.
I need you to stay safe. And we could prevent this calamity.
But to say the details, I think we've got to make sure that everyone else knows about what's going on."

He was out of breath, and his hair was still wet.
Cherno turned to the others gathered. He didn't know if the others were to find out themselves, or not. This was dangerous. Altering the past was dangerous. He couldn't tell them outright directly ... yet.

He yelled out a single phrase:
    "Timelines!"
Hopefully that would catch their attention.
