It seemed that he and Theodore were on the same page, or least a similar one. This is what he thought after checking his phone per usual in his morning routine. Something about a party was mentioned though... What was that about?

To find out he went to the next message, seeing about the meet-up at the labs. A good idea, until the mention of alcohol. That would surely distract those attending if they are foolish enough to drink it... Still, he had to go. A chance like this could not be passed up so easily.

So once he was ready to go he began poking at the bird in hopes that it would awaken as he did not wish to leave it behind so rudely. Still, if it took too long he would end up going on his own.

There would be a memorial for the students who had been lost in the...'satanic ritual'. It was interesting that she would also get an invitation to go to a party later on the same evening. To be honest, it didn't really sound like that great of an idea to meet up. Not only that, but it brought her worlds of anxiety to think about interacting with everyone.

She was a trouble maker, after all. Something always seemed to go wrong. Often she tried to suppress the bubbling feelings of guilt and shame, but she couldn't quite shake the feeling that most of what had happened to the people around her was her fault. Not everything, of course not, but a lot of it. It hurt.

It hurt especially bad standing here in front of John's tombstone. She hadn't attended his funeral--she couldn't. Watching his body lowered into the ground...It would be too much. But still, she couldn't help herself from coming to visit his grave. She left bouquets and dandelion bracelets...Sometimes food. She knew it was only his body here, but it was the thought that counted. She didn't want to forget about him.

When she was through this time, she made her way back to the dorms. She wasn't sure how this would all turn out but...She decided to go ahead and attend Theodore's 'function'.

That morning, when he woke up, things felt . . . heavy. It was strange, waking up like this. He had never cried himself to sleep before, and so his eyes stung a bit and were heavy, and his cheeks were stained with the tears.

No more crying today, or again. There was no time for that, not anymore.

He sighed as he remembered he was going to the hospital today, to see Heidi. It would be nice to see her again. It was comforting. He needed to get out of this place - that feeling of being trapped here, inside his room, almost inside his head . . .

Harley really did want to see her, but he felt so hollow inside that it felt like it wouldn't make a difference if he were there with her or not. Who knew, maybe that would change when he actually saw her.

The music was the one thing that kept him focused on the morning and the fact that, despite what had happened, things had to move on. Everyone else would move on, but for the people who were stuck in this game, time might as well have stopped.

A vibration in his pocket drew him out of his lulled state and it seemed that he had received an email. An exasperated sigh almost escaped his lips, as he thought of the possible subjects it could be about. How ironic it would have been if it were another demon saying that he had a hundred days to live.

Of course, he could only be so lucky. It was labeled as being from Theodore Weldon, Weird email?

. . . The Antilum Labs. That name was familiar, somehow. His mom, before her health and mind went to shit, used to be a doctor, so maybe that was how. Maybe he had been there before?

Theo wanted to gather all of them in one place, but from experience, Harley knew that was never a good thing. Then again, nine of them had just been killed not too long ago, so would Crestatia be willing to rid more than half of the small amount left? He didn't think so - she still wanted this game to be interesting.

Tomorrow night, huh? Sure, he'd be there.

    Send to: Theodore Weldon
    Subject: RE:Weird email?

Hey there, Theo. We met in the library a while back. The 'weird' email has been around for a long time, but I guess none of the BAE kids believed in it. Haha. See you there, Theo.

    - Harley

He sighed. After all that had happened, were there kids who still didn't believe the email? He rubbed the back of his neck and began to think of what formal clothing to wear. For these kinds of things, Lorinda would have never let him step out in anything less than a personally tailored tuxedo. He hated formal events, but he was curious about who would be there, and so he'd go.

About half an hour later, Harley was at the hospital, walking up to the clerk's desk, " How may I help you today, sir? " she asked, giving him a sort of eye that he knew was checking him out. Ignoring it, he replied.

" I'm here to see Heidi Layne. Could you tell me her room number? "

The woman, who seemed to be in her middle twenties or so, turned delicately to her computer and began to look professional, looking for the patient he had asked for. When she found it, she looked at him over the rim of his glasses, " I'm sorry, but that patient is not allowed to have visitors unless they are family or a spouse. "

His response was immediate, but smooth, " She's my lover. " he told her in a more soft tone, and she seemed surprise, if not a little crestfallen, " I would like to see her. " For a few moments, the young woman studied his features as if to check if he was being honest or not, but she couldn't tell.

With a sigh, she told him the room number and Harley was on his way. When he found that he was going in the direction of the psyche ward, he sighed inwardly. The voices must have come back - no surprise, he guessed, considering that Heidi was particularly close to Altair. Had she had a breakdown? Probably. She seemed stable enough over messages, but . . .

    Knock, knock . . .

Slowly, Harley creaked open the door and poked his head in to see her sitting on the hospital bed, attached to tubes and other things. At least she looked alright.

" Hey, " he said, walking in and grasping out a small bouquet of white Oleander flowers in his hand. It was nice to see her again. He did feel better. A little, anyway, " How are you? "

    And a small silence followed.

Heidi sat with the bed propped upright. She had been staring out the window again when a light knock sounded at her door. The room had been silent prior. She made sure to tell Josephine not to turn on the television. She couldn't handle anymore news. The news was always bad. It never brought good things, only bad. She waited as the door unlatched and swung ajar. She had been in a seemingly never ending lifeless funk for days now. The hospital and the sedatives had drained what little bit of emotion she had left. It was time to leave this place. It was just a matter of how. We can help with that. We will get you out of here.

"Hey," Harley walked in presenting her with a bouquet of white Oleanders. "How are you?" She looked away from the window and smiled up at him. She missed Harley a lot. His presence seemed to brighten her spirits just a little bit. She felt bad for how she treated Casey the day before. She would need to apologize to him.

"Hi Harley," she said cheerfully. "Are those for me?" Heidi looked at the flowers curiously. No one had ever given her flowers before. That's it deary. We can use him. He will take you out of her. It will take no effort at all to convince him. What do you mean? Just keep it up. She smoothed the wrinkles out of the hospital gown and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. Nurse Josephine had helped her get cleaned up earlier and Heidi went along without protesting. Her hair hung loosely around her shoulders and she had to brush the bangs out of her eyes. "You came." It was more of a confirmation to herself than to him. Harley was here. She missed Harley. Her every thought had been consumed with Altair. She had barely even thought of the others. Anthony was gone. They never got to play the game together. Everything was so disappointing. "How are you?"

The hum of a message reached the ears of Casey and soon enough the teen arose from his slumber. His rest was not the best as his thoughts were totally focused on Altair and Heidi and sure enough he felt too lonely. He couldn't get through to Heidi and in the end he probably made things worse for the girl in general. Though some of the names on the email were familiar to him in the end the only ones he really knew was Altair, Heidi, and Marina. He regretted not taking this whole ordeal seriously from the beginning, he regret never speaking to Altair or Marina about the email. This game, just why did C keep him alive...just what did Casey have that Altair, Marina and the many victims didn't. Did the game-master pity him? did she not even acknowledge him? He was useless and mere fodder...so of course it didn't hurt to keep him alive. It hurt so bad but Casey had to endure, he stood up from his bed and read the message that he received on his phone.

Upon opening the message, Casey's eyes widened upon reading it and then narrowed them "A meeting...about that email...." Casey said closing his eyes. He really didn't wish to see any other after his encounter with Heidi, in fact he just wanted to rush over to Heidi and apologies. He wished to do it, but felt he should give her some time without him before encountering again. With a sigh Casey sent a reply saying he would attend and collapsed on his bed with a sigh.

The silence quickly passed when Heidi's cheerful voice came. He wanted to smile when he found that she seemed okay, but he wasn't really sure if she was faking it or not.

" Are those for me? " she asked curiously, and Harley brought them up to look at them.

He wasn't a big fan of flowers, they were a pain to take care of, and he just wasn't willing to make that kind of investment into something he couldn't fully appreciate. While this would make him sound like he had no experience with girls, he did find that they liked flowers. Then again, Heidi wasn't exactly a typical girl.

Gently, he set them on her lap and hoped that she liked them, " Got them earlier, thought you might like them. "

The memorial for the nine victims of the . . . "satanic ritual" ( he scoffed at that pissass dub ) would be soon, but Harley wouldn't go to that widespread thing, to be around all of those people who probably didn't care. Come to think of it, it was tonight, wasn't it? That worked out just fine because he would be at Antilum anyway.

Lorinda would probably hold a funeral for Kallisti, but it would be a small affair. Lee and Peter would be there, maybe even his mother; grandpa might be there, too. Harley didn't know if he would go to that. Would Lilith? Surely she knew by now. Damn, he wish he knew where that mansion was. She must be some kind of wreck by now.

    " You came. "

Harley looked up, pulled from his thoughts. He sat down in one of the seats close to her bed and leaned back.

    " How are you? "

This almost felt like some kind of guilt thing, where Heidi had been hospitalized all of her life and Harley had been some sort of childhood friend or something. He didn't like that very much. Maybe she had been hospitalized for most of her life, but he definitely hadn't done anything wrong in this situation. Except probably fail to protect her. Like he promised.

He failed to protect Kallisti, too.

    Low blow, Jackson.

" Better than yesterday. " he said, being against talking about his feelings. Then again, she probably didn't want to talk about hers too soon either, " Feels like it's been raining nonstop since all that shit happened, but it's bright as morning outside. Like Nature's way of saying 'get over it' . " he said, giving her a distant look.

When he realized that he had been staring for too long, he looked away. " So when are you getting out of this place? How'd you even land yourself in here to begin with? "

The funeral would probably be in a few days, maybe three. He didn't think that Lorinda was cold hearted enough to force him to come, but he had no goddamned idea why she would let Peter go. Probably to play the good mother? The good face of BAE, of one of the most powerful families in this side of the country? He didn't know how these things worked.

He wondered what kind of flowers Kallisti liked.

Heidi held the flowers up to her face and inhaled their sweet scent. She rarely got to do things of this nature. Josephine had turned the monitor back on and reattached the clamp to her finger. Her heart palpitated as she glanced back up at Harley. She watched as he took a seat and leaned back in the chair. She could watch him like that four hours. He always seemed so comfortable in his skin. Heidi envied that in him. "Better than yesterday." he said, "Feels like it's been raining nonstop since all that shit happened, but it's bright as morning outside. Like Nature's way of saying 'get over it.' " he said, giving her a distant look. After a moment that seemed to last too long he looked away. "So when are you getting out of this place? How'd you even land yourself in here to begin with?"

Her face fell and she dropped the bouquet of Oleanders in her lap. It was a long story. She stared down at her hands as she rubbed them together- back and forth. She remained quiet for a long while. Heidi couldn't bring herself to say anything. Occasionally she would glance back up at him, but her gaze would move back to her hands as she continued to rub them vigorously. "Train accident," she finally spoke up. "With Zoey. Got hurt. Left a few days ago, but then..." The memory of he bleeding out on the floor came back, followed by the news Mr. Marshall shared with her. She didn't remember the seizure, but she did remember the episode leading up to it. "Accident after talked to you last. Got sent back here." Heidi bit her lip before looking back up at him. "Been here... been here since found out." She shook her head. "Won't tell me when I can go."

Heidi pulled at the side of the gown and revealed the bandaging on her side where the incision was. She then proceeded to brush the bangs out of her hair, showing a patch of gauze taped to her forehead. She wanted to leave. She wanted to leave now. Just ask him deary. He will get you out of here. "How do you know?" she asked herself. Her brown eyes flashed back up at him. It was a foolish thing to ask, but maybe Harley would consider it. She hoped he would at least. "Will you..." she tugged lightly at the tips of her hair, "...get me out? Been here so long. Fine now. All better." Heidi tapped her temple. She wasn't having episodes anymore, but if she left it also meant not being properly medicated. It would only makes things worse again. A risk you must be willing to take.

She didn't seem to enthused about telling him what happened, but he waited anyway. Just before he thought that she was going to keep quite on the subject for good, she started, " Train accident. "

    . . . A train accident.

" With Zoey. Got hurt. Left a few days ago, but then . . . " He waited for her to finish that bit, but she went quite again, and he knew what she was referring to. She obviously didn't want to talk about all that had happened and he didn't blame her, but he figured keeping it all in wasn't the way to go.

As she went on, Harley found that her sentences were short and to the point; also very avoiding and impersonal, like she was telling a cop what happened. He silently clicked his tongue in irritation at being treated like some sort of stranger - but she probably didn't mean to.

When she finished telling him, " Stuck in the hospital, huh? " he said with a hint of a sympathetic smile, " Maybe that's good for you then, after everything you've been through. " Personally, Harley didn't like hospitals, and it was rare that he ever landed himself in one since the family had a doctor of their own, but for someone like Heidi, maybe this was the best. In the hospital, they'd definitely be able to keep a check on her sickness and make sure that she didn't get out of control.

He sighed; then again, he didn't want her in foreign hands, either.

Before he said anything else, she spoke up, " How do you know? "

This stunned him, and because her words were soft, he didn't know if she was walking to him or not.

" Will you . . . get me out? " she asked hesitantly, and Harley wondered if she was expecting him to say no. He wanted to say no. It was against a proper human's better judgment to say yes, but she looked pretty miserable, and he didn't want to see her like that. Was she using him to get out - did she know that he might probably say yes? A bit of a low blow, but he almost laughed - he would do the same thing. He didn't blame her for wanting to get out.

Or was it her that wanted to leave?

" You don't sound too sure about being 'all better', " he started, leaning forward and looking at her intently, searching her face for trip-ups, " It'd be a bad idea for you to leave without proper medication. If you've got it and you're willing to take it, then I'm game for this bust out. " He shrugged his shoulders, but then looked serious again, " One thing though, you've gotta promise to take your meds. "

Now, he thought to himself, to wait.

"You don't sound too sure about being 'all better'," he started, leaning forward and looking at her intently. Her face flushed. Harley hadn't been so close in awhile. She could feel the heat from his body and smell his breath and skin. He smelled wonderful. It reminded her of when... Don't think about it deary. "It'd be a bad idea for you to leave without proper medication. If you've got it and you're willing to take it, then I'm game for this bust out." He shrugged his shoulders, but then looked serious again, "One thing though, you've gotta promise to take your meds." He would get her out? She did her best to conceal the excitement. After all, it had been awhile since her last escape. What would the hospital think if they lost the same patient twice? She nodded her head slowly.

At first, she didn't think there was any, but then she remembered. That bottle had rolled under the bed after she stood up before. She had medication. If it meant she could get out of here and be with Harley, she would take them. She didn't want to hurt anyone. But the side effects, they countered. They didn't want her to take them. Heidi looked into Harley's intense gaze. His light eyes piercing through her made her heart skip a beat, which reflected on the monitor- as did her elevated heart rate. It beeped slightly faster and she wrapped her fingers tightly around the stems on the flowers. Her knuckles began to turn white and she redirected her attention to the flowers she was squishing.

"It's fine," she said to both of them. "I-I have a bottle, back in..." Heidi appeared crestfallen. "Back at the school." She didn't want to think about him anymore. It hurt too much. Would Mr. Marshall be angry that she was leaving? She didn't want to hurt him, but she couldn't stay here. Hopefully he had gathered that when Altair brought her home the first time. They had met because of an escape attempt. She glanced back up at Harley. Tears fought to break through. She didn't want to hurt anyone anymore. Did she hurt Casey yesterday? It seemed like it. Hurting people wasn't allowed, no matter how much they enjoyed it. "You'll... you'll really take me with you? I-I promise."

It wasn't hard to tell that Heidi was personally pleased, more surprised, when he agreed. She seemed to go into thought and he waited for a real answer.

Of course, sneaking a patient out of a hospital was illegal, but Harley remembered busting Al - ah. Well, he just remembered that and the weight that the Lein name carried. If he was careful about this, then he wouldn't have to, but there was always that as a last resort.

As he waited, he began calculating the best routes out of the hospital. The psyche ward was probably the tightest in security, but that wouldn't be so bad. They had plenty of gardens around, but all of the fences were fairly high so that no one thought of trying to climb out. In the southern most part of the hospital, there was one garden . . . It was pretty small and hardly used, but it had an emergency exit that could be opened. Then again, all emergency exits were locked in case there was an . . . well, an emergency.

Harley listened as Heidi's heart monitor sped up and he thought that they might be tripping up or something, or that they were telling her things about the medication. As she messed with the flowers he had brought, she calmed down.

" It's fine, " she said, " I - I have a bottle, back in . . . " He leaned forward just slightly to hear the rest of the sentence, " Back at the school. "

Oh, that's right. She stayed in Altair's room while she was at BAE, didn't she? That was troublesome, that room would be off-limits until the case was cleared, even though there was really no case to put. What to do about that . . .

Heidi's doctors probably had more medication for her, but it would be in an office, with other patients' medications. That office would probably be locked. He wondered if they upgraded the locks here since the picking-protected - probably. They'd be card-recognition, code, or fingerprints.

    " You'll . . . You'll really take me with you? " she asked with a hopeful voice that he tried not to turn away from, " I - I promise. "

He looked at her, hard, trying to be sure if she was really honest or not. Harley didn't like liars, or people who didn't keep promises ( he found ways around his troubles by mixing up words, hah ), but would Heidi really lie to him like this? After all, this was pretty serious, and if he fucked up, he'd be arrested, and they'd probably move hospitals for her.

He looked at his watch; still fairly early in the day. She'd come with him to Theo's little . . . get together at Antilum, so he only had a few hours to bust her out, get to a store, and buy her some nice clothing.

Finally, he sighed, " Alright. Deal's a deal. " he said, standing up, " Sit tight, kiddo, we're gonna bust you out of here. There are some things that I've got to do first in prep, so I want you to see if you can convince your nurse to take you to the Liberum Avis Garden. It's a small place, but she should be willing even though no one uses it anymore. Last I checked, it was still in great condition. " he explained.

Before she could ask questions, he went on, " As for me, there's a matter of emergency exits and codes. This hospital isn't high security, but the psyche warden isn't just going to let one of her patients waltz out the door. " he explained with an easy laugh, " So get yours to take you to the Liberum Avis Garden, and I'll me you there in . . . about twenty minutes. " he told her after looking at his watch.

A little illegality was exactly what he needed to take his mind off of things. There was nothing like a good puzzle to cheer him up, even if it was only for a little while.

" See you there, Heidi, " he said, kissing her on the forehead and then heading out the door and down the hall.

Finally, he sighed, "Alright. Deal's a deal." he said, standing up, "Sit tight, kiddo, we're gonna bust you out of here. She had to make sure not to miss anything he said. This seemed to be the most thought out plan there was so far, granted, she never really planned her escapes- they just happened. He gave her a job to do, and for that, she was grateful. It was something to focus on. It was something they could all focus on.

"See you there, Heidi," he said, kissing her on the forehead and then heading out the door and down the hall. Her face flushed red and she said a silent prayer in thanks that he was already gone before she could react. The monitor beeped wildly at his departure. Why did Harley always do that to her? She didn't understand the strange tingling in her chest that radiated throughout the rest of her body. It was- Focus! Right. She had a job to do. There were more important things to worry about then the way Harley and- well, the way Harley made her feel.

What do I- Let us do it! No. She reached over to the white button beside her bed and pressed it. It would only take a minute or two for Nurse Josephine to come ambling in. Heidi took a few deep breaths, attempting to calm her nerves. Her body seemed to be going haywire at the moment and she wasn't sure if it was from the escape plan or from Harley. The latch on the door sounded and Josephine came trotting in. There was a smile on her face and she shut the door behind her. What was that look about? Heidi cocked a brow and clutched the flowers closer to her chest.

"That was a handsome young man that came to visit you Heidi. Are those flowers from him?" Her curly brown hair bounced in the poinytail she had tied up at the back of her head. Josephine pointed at the Oleanders and proceeded to check Heidi's Saline Drip.

"Mm. Yeah. Um..." she paused. Nurse Josephine let go of the bag and glanced down at her.

"Something I can help you with hon?"

Heidi noted the change in attitude Josephine had since she first arrived. She was more relaxed and upbeat. Was that because she stopped having episodes? "Was wondering if I could go outside." She swallowed nervously.

"It's awfully cold outside. I don't know if that's such a good idea."

"Please," she pleeded. Keep going deary. Push her. Make her take you outside. "Just for a little while? To that Libertum Avin Garden?"

Josephine looked at her a bit confused. "You mean the Liberum Avis Garden?" She nodded. Heidi was never good at using her features to get what she wanted, but she batted her eyelashes at her nurse and gave her a sad pouty face. She watched as Josephine debated internally over what to do.

    "Please?" she asked softly.

Josephine shrugged and moved towards the door. "Let me get my coat and a blanket and wheelchair for you."

Good job deary. Keep it up. Heidi felt sick to her stomach. She had never been good at these kinds of games. After a few minutes, Josephine returned in her coat and pushed a wheelchair into the room. She unhooked Heidi from the equipment and wrapped a blanket around her to help keep her from getting cold. It was going well, but she had a sinking feeling about everything. You have to think confidently. If you think something bad is going to happen, then it's bound to. We can take over if you don't have it in you. No...

Josephine pushed her through the halls and out to the garden. The temperature hit her like a brick wall. She hoped Harley wouldn't be too much longer.

SNAKE EATER BATTLE IN THE BASE

    [/url]

. . . The situation wasn't that intense, but he didn't want to be caught.

After Harley left Heidi's room, he had headed straight up to the sixth floor, where a head nurse was heading. When other people passed him, he made it seem as if he were following her because she told him to, but in reality, should would be his ticket into the one of the medicine rooms.

Hopefully, all of the medicine in there would be labeled with the patient's name that it belonged to.

It seemed that he had to follow her down a series of hallways where the main door was encrypted with a key, but when the door slid open, there was no one in the hall. One of the windows he passed had hospital lab coats in it and the door was unlocked, so he quickly slid in, grabbed one of the coats and the stethoscope that sat by a computer.

To his luck, there was an ID card laying next to the computer and he grabbed it. Impressive, he thought to himself, high clearance. That would be able to get him where he wanted to go. Surely there were cameras around, so Harley pulled out a pair of glasses and parted his hair a different way. It didn't effect his appearance much, but it was better than before.

He needed to get a haircut soon.

Quietly, he slipped out of the room and sped walk to try and catch up with the nurse he had been following. It seemed like he lost her, until he heard the clicking of her flats against the tile floor. He tried to keep his own feet quiet against the tile, and that wasn't too hard because the soles of his shoe were rubber and he only had to worry about dragging them.

Harley rounded the corner just in time to see the nurse walking into the room after sliding a card down a small panel. He clicked his tongue at the hospital's carelessness; the pads should be password protected instead. He waited a few minutes and saw the nurse come back out of the room, in time where he began to act as if he had been strolling down the hallway himself.

He counted the steps until the two of them crossed paths and she said something, but it never came and she turned down the hallway, probably on her way back to the patient's room.

One beep later and Harley was in a room with shelves of medicine. Just his luck, they were alphabetically ordered by last name. Ten minutes later, he was looking at three small bottles; two with pills and one with a syringe and liquid. He wondered the effects of each of them.

The door opened and he almost dropped one of the bottles but quickly shoved them into his pockets. He quietly moved around the dim room that was only lit by neon blue lights and looking through the shelf holes, found that a security guard was looking around.

Shit. he took a breath. He looked like a high end security guard. Vice-captain of the security here, maybe? He would have the keys to the emergency exit.

Quietly, he tiptoed around three of the shelves until he found that he was leaning around into the same row that the guard was in. He must have been heard because the guard moved forward. It would have been easy to walk out of that room, but Harley needed those keys . . . He took another breath and moved forward, coming back-to-face with the guard.

Harley raised his hands and pinched a nerve in the back of the guard's slightly meaty neck. A cry of pain was heard and Harley's other hand went for the nerve right in the shoulder, next to the neck. As he pressed harder and harder he guided the guard down to the lit floor.

With a heavy sigh, he stood up and looked down at his handiwork. Not too bad for a short-notice plan. His hand immediately went to the guard's belt and grabbed the keys that would be their ticket out of there.

As quickly and as nonchalantly as he could manage, Harley walked out of the medicine room and began making his way through the series of hallways that would lead him out. He stopped by the small side office and discarded his weak disguise.

Just before he was home free - " Hey! " And he looked over his shoulder. Another guard was rushing at him.

Harley laughed, shoved the medicine into his pockets and the chase began. It was just about this time that the hallways decided to become a bit crowded, but he had no issues freerunning through a patient-infested parkour stage - it was the guard who would have problems, but he had backup.

People were screaming, nurses were yelling, some diving out of the way, and other guards were coming. He ran down a glass hallway where there was a clear view of the garden Heidi was in. Just a little while longer . . . and . . . Perfect, he found two gurneys! Harley grabbed them and violently shoved them in the direction of the two guards that had managed to keep up with him. one of them tripped, but the other jumped just in time.

Harley rounded the corner and burst through the garden door to see the nurse that was with Heidi look at him with horror, but he just smiled. Luckily, she wasn't attached to any tubes and right when the door opened, Harley was sweeping the much smaller girl into his arms and snatching the security guard's keys from his pockets.

" Catch you later! " he called back to the guard and nurse as he swept out the door and ran down the back of the hospital to the parking lot.

Alarms were going off, people were flooding outside, and this was no longer the place to be. Harley only laughed though and looked down at the stunned, small Heidi in his arms, " Told you I'd get you out, " he laughed, filled with adrenaline and excitement. He wrapped his coat around her smaller frame and five minutes later, they were at his car. He opened the door, and sat Heidi in the passenger's side, quickly ducking out his head to check for any security on him. They were off in the distance, good.

He slid over his hood and swung into his seat after opening the door.

When they were on the road, he laughed again, " How do you feel about small get togethers? "

Duncan snorted as he scrolled through his email and popped the one from Theodore open. He then quickly hunted down and opened the original email from C. This dork thought something was going on. Ha. He shook his head. However, the occurrences did seem occult. And who in this state didn't know about the multiple weather changes and even the global blackout. And maybe these posers would have some way of knowing more about this occult stuff. Or maybe..an even more interesting thing was happening with the spirit world, and this kid wanted to gather certain people to discuss this 'email' with. That was it, that decided it for Duncan. He stormed down stair and was glad his mother was home all the time for once. She was startled when her son grabbed her and dragged her upstairs to show her the email Theodore had sent.

"Mhm. Yeah. We're friends. Yes, I know the son of the owner of Antilum. No I will not ask you for top quality pills, what is wrong with you?! Okay, that's where I'll be because you're giving me a ride." He began to shove her towards the door after answering all of her questions. "And get me a damn suit!" He hated and loathed suits, they felt so constricting around him. But this guy wanted them dolled up. And for the chance to learn more about this fiasco, he would do anything. Including, dropping his prey for the night. After all, it was a lab. A place where science, safety and life, intermingled! What could go wrong?

When Harley came running out and scooped her into his arms, she was too stunned to say anything. He carried her all way to his car. He was careful not to cause any harm to her current injuries and to that she was grateful. Actually, she was grateful for everything. There were so many people trying to help her for the first time in her life. It wasn't fair. Why did they help when they knew it wouldn't make a difference in the end. They would all die. It was wasted effort, but she appreciated it regardless. The chase had been oddly exhilirating, to the point that she started to giggle once inside the safety that was his car. She was with Harley and free of the hospital. What will Mr. Marshall say? Will this hurt him? Why does it matter? Don't you remember that meeting in the orb room? Of course. What about it? No one exists. How can you hurt something that isn't really there? She stared solomnly out the window of the car as they wound through the city streets. Was that really true? She had tried not to think about that portion of the meeting too much. It hurt her down to the core.

The sound of Harley's laughter broke her trance. She liked it when he laughed. Her expression softened as she continued to gaze out the glass. "How do you feel about small get togethers?"

"Hm?" She turned her head back to him, watching as he steered the car effortlessly. "A get together?" Heidi was under the impression that Harley understood how she was around crowds (i.e. not good). She blinked twice and studied the side of his face for confirmation that he was serious. He appeared to be. "U-um... All right, I guess." What kind of get together could he possibly be taking her too? She held his jacket close against her skin and inhaled his sweet scent. It was comforting. As long as Harley was there, she would be fine. Are you sure about that? There was no reason for her not to be. She sat quietly in the passenger seat as they drove wherever he planned on taking her. Heidi pulled her feet up onto the seat with her, readjusting as to not bother the cut in her side. Her fingers wrapped tightly around the white and yellow gold infinity pendant resting between her clavicals. They hadn't taken the necklace from her upon her secondary arrival at the hospital. She appreciated it. Heidi felt regretful for not wearing the sapphire necklace, that it had been far too long since it was last around her throat, but she couldn't help that. She had been stuck in the hospital for days. She waited. Where exactly was Harley taking her?

Cherno woke up and read the email from Theodore and decided to pack his things to visit the meeting before his waking self slowly dawned upon his conscience that people had died.

    People had died.

(and his puppeteer would make a more detailed post later tonight)

The next morning was spent busily preparing all he had promised. He quickly replied to Bernadette, alerting her that once arriving in the main lobby, there would be a guard that would lead them to a lounge in Sector B.

When Elliot arrived, Theodore greeted him and they finished setting everything up together. His friend was not too keen on the idea of alcohol, but Theo only shrugged it off. He wanted as many people to come as possible. Stereotypical teens would be stereotypical teens and some people may be drawn to the idea of having a little bit of fun while all together.
When they were finished, he took a seat on one of the couches and turned on the television until his guests began to arrive.

Zoey had finally gotten around to her Tumblr. She didn't use it often... she didn't see the point. She just had it for the sake of having one. She should probably delete it. ...She was about to look at her emails when she noticed the number above her envelope icon. ...She had a lot of Tumblr messages.
    ...All from Matt?
    ...Holy cow!

All of them were from him. And they were all extremely worried. Poor guy. She didn't mean to worry him, not that it was intentional, albeit, the desperation that kept on increasing in his messages may have seemed a tad... creepy and over obsessive. ...Wait... WHAT?!
The last message of all came as a shock. Her heart was thumping so hard it felt like it'd explode from her chest.

He loved her? WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN!
But suddenly... Zoey was fearful. Very fearful. What had been one of those rules? No romance?
SHÍT! "Matt, you idiot..." she stammered. A feeling of dread was in her gut. ...It couldn't be... Could it?
Maybe it didn't count, after all.. as sad as it was... she didn't love Matt back. But hopefully that meant it didn't count as romance. It would mean that Matt wasn't in danger, but if he was...-
Zoey was standing suddenly. The sudden movements caused pain to rush through her body. She ignored them though, despite the fact the muscles in her back were trying to refuse her will. She ran around her room and grabbed her clothes and dressed as fast as she could. It was still incredibly cold out, but she suddenly left her room wearing only a shirt, jeans (panties underneath of course) and sneakers (no socks).

Harley helped Heidi out of his car and then handed his keys to the valet who had shown himself. Just an hour or so before they arrived, he took her shopping to get something befitting of the event, since Theo told them they had to wear something nice. Harley was no pro will women's clothing, but he though he did a damn good job with helping Heidi pick out her outfit.

She had been extremely reluctant to let him help her at all and had, at first, flat out rejected, but he figured it was because she was nervous. All in all, he'd like to say, they did a good job. The clothing had been a bit expensive, but he wouldn't let Heidi know that. He wondered if she was very materialistic. He was glad to see that she still wore the necklace that he gave her for Christmas.

He wondered if Kallisti would be buried with hers.

A sigh passed his lips and he adjusted the neck tie of his tuxedo [ Saxima doesn't like bowties, so fuck you. ] He wasn't going to wear it, but it might as well see some use.

After he linked his arm with Heidi's more slender one, he guided her into the building. Antilum was very imposing, and he'd almost forgotten that it had such a sleek and modern design. It seemed that some sort of servant was waiting inside for the guests ( there were several of them, good god ), and the servant nodded his head at Harley and motioned for the two of them to follow.

Conversation was scarce as he and Heidi were led over a long bridge that felt a bit higher than it should have. They walked into the wide elevator and were sped up. It's like the thing didn't even move, the transition was so smooth. He'd have to be honest, he was pretty impressed with this place. The thing about it was, since it was such a . . . marvel in both structure, service, and staff, Lorinda was involved somehow. He hoped she wasn't at the party.

The room that they were guided into looked extremely comfy, and very big. Harley had seen rooms like this before, but with the style of it and the sheer size, it felt like he was new to the whole 'wealthy' experience. Goddamn. He didn't know Theo was loaded, but he shouldn't have expected anything else from a BAE native.

And there was the host himself, sitting comfortably on one of the couches. This would be fun.

He led Heidi over to Theo and nodded at him, " Hey, " he started, looking around again for effect on his next words, " Nice place you've got here. " he went on conversationally, " You sure you want C to destroy it? " The last bit was half joke, half serious because he really didn't know if the demoness would show herself tonight.

    It should be fun.

It was a strange occurrence, being here in the labs without his father somehow involved or present. Strange but fully welcomed as he did not have to be a lab rat and could enjoy the company of his friend. However this evening was hardly about that as it could very well be his only chance to learn things only the Bellhurst students knew of.

He just hoped they didn't ruin this with their seemingly short attention span. And the presence of alcohol helped little as it would surely deter them from the actual point of this little...fling. Theo seemed to be a good host though and could hopefully keep everyone under control.

He just wished he didn't have to be present in such a suit, as it was a lot less layers than he was accustomed to. It made him uncomfortable which caused him to have a lack of focus as well, increasing his worries.

How this would go could only be told with time so there was nothing more to do but wait as they finished setting up the place. However he had not been seated for long before the first of the guests had arrived. A tall, familiar looking teen and a girl who looked like...what were they called...arm candy?

Oh dear, he really hoped he was accessing the situation wrong.

"W-would C..." What an awful thought. "No...wait... Hello."

Even though the boy had addressed Theodore he still felt compelled to reply, mostly before he had blurted out a comment already.

Isabella stepped into the lounge. The view of the building (Antilum, was it?) had taken her breath away. That seemed to happen a lot when she looked at the architecture in Brookbridge. She had never really cared about architecture, but there were some nice views in this town.
Isabella had received the email while she was asleep the night before. It was from someone named Theodore. Someone else who knew about that email. It seemed like he had invited others in the email, too. The email had said to dress nicely, so she had put on the nicest dress she could find in her drawers, one she only wore on the most formal of occasions. She wore a heavy jacket over the dress, not only for warmth, but also to cover up the... discovery she had made that morning.
Isabella looked around the room at the ones who had already arrived. Two boys with black hair, one of them wearing a surgeon's mask. A boy with brown hair and a girl with darker brown hair.
