The grin on Altair's face lowered as he held her hand and looked up at her. "Heidi..." Altair said as he closed his eyes with a sigh "I am fully aware of your other side...I can tell you fear it and I can tell it will do something that you will regret, but if you fail to keep it in check, if you feel you are going to do something you feel you will hate, then I will stop you" Altair said as he opened his eyes. The news that Tyler and Zoey were connected was new to him and he felt that such news to be giving was not something that Heidi should have done, but nonetheless whats done was done. If anything, Altair felt it would be best to visit Zoey herself despite not really knowing her. For now Heidi was the one that needed his attention...her other side.... how it interested him so

Heidi continued to hold onto him with one hand, but pulled the other free to adjust the bed. It moved forward, setting her upright. She didn't like staring up at him. Everything was awkward enough the way it was. He closed his eyes with a sigh, "I am fully aware of your other side...I can tell you fear it and I can tell it will do something that you will regret, but if you fail to keep it in check, if you feel you are going to do something you feel you will hate, then I will stop you." Her heart ached.

He wanted to help. It was as plain and simple as that. Trusting was difficult, but she promised regardless. She would have to believe he could do something, even if she didn't want him too. Heidi nodded, but then felt dizzy from the action. Fractured skull. Her wounds had all been taken care of, but that didn't mean they stopped hurting. The fingers of her free hand trailed over the bandage on her forehead. Eyelashes fluttered as she ran her fingers over the stitches underneath. She gulped before looking back up at Altair. "I... okay. I just..." He doesn't know and it'll have to remain like that, at least for now. The medication will help with the rest. Hopefully, he never has to see them.

Heidi forced a smile. She had only received the news a few days ago, and already things seemed different. The relationship had changed. Was it like this before? Did she cause it by leaving? She couldn't put her finger on it. Everything seemed more... confusing. She yawned. "I'll try. I'll try and tell you, but it's hard, especially when they are around."

Altair smiled as his hand let go of her own "good that all I want yo to do" Altair said closing his eyes with a smile. "Now its time you get your rest, I'll come visit you tomorrow alright?" Altair said with a smile. There was no other need for discussion and anything he needed to discuss could be saved for later on. The girl had been in an accident and it was apparent that the girl needed her rest. "Well with this I'll be off, if anything call me or the old bastard" Altair said with a smile

"Bronagh if you 'sorry' me one more time." Jessie took Bronagh's book and slammed it on the table, "Don't say 'sorry' when you don't meant it. Understand? Sorry is something that should be used for SINCERE apologies. If you give out sorry's to everyone it loses it's meaning and no one will know if you are truly apologetic."
She grabbed Bronagh's bag and packed up Bronagh's things on the table as she continued, "You know, you say I know you aren't a babysitter, and then maybe crack a joke. Can't you tell I'm joking? I'm not seriously thinking of you as a child and I'm not getting paid so I'm certainly not babysitting. You aren't a baby are you?"
Bronagh was silent before Jessie looked at her annoyed, "ANSWER ME."
"I- I'm not... sorry."
"There ya go there ya go again."

When they got in the dorm Bronagh was freezing, she hadn't brought a jacket the first time and was shivering like crazy. The first ride they were at least moving fast. This time it was just her and Jessie talking the whole way.​

Jessie got the two of them into the elevator before speaking, "Look... Wheels. I want you to know that I am someone you can talk to." she asked Bronagh her floor which she pressed before saying, "I get that we only met a few days ago, but everyone needs that one person to vent to."​

She leaned against the wall before clearing her throat whispering Oh my god I hate my voice then continued, "I don't believe in the whole "there are some things that should never be shared" thing. Everyone needs to talk about anything, and sometimes an outside voice is the best thing."​

Bronagh looked up at her then looked back down at the elevator number, she didn't understand why it was taking so long, "There are some things that people don't want to share though."​

"Yeah I understand the need to keep things to yourself, everyone is allowed that. But I hate it when people say I can't tell you because they can. They choose not to."​

When the elevator door opened Bronagh wheeled out and Jessie stayed in the elevator saying to Bronagh, "But if you need anyone to talk. I am your guy- GIRL."​

Bronagh turned her head quickly before Jessie said, "I don't usually say guy, my bad... I'm your girl to talk to Bro."​

The elevator shut with Jessie in it as she waved, slightly kicking the back of the elevator with her heel.​

Bronagh wheeled to the room and took a bath then made herself some food. When she was done eating she was already tired and had missed the comfort of a bed. She climbed into bed after changing into PJs and immediately fell asleep.​

Altair said goodbye. Heidi nodded and waved slowly as he went to leave. "There's no need. I'll be out tomorrow. I'll see you when you get out of class." She smiled at him reassuringly. She didn't want him to see her like this, not again. It was becoming far too frequent. "Goodnight," she mumbled as a nurse came in and lowered the bed. The nurse shut the door behind Altair and injected a clear liquid into the IV, putting her into another drug induced slumber. Heidi mumbled something incoherent, the nurse patted her on the top of her head, and her eyes slowly drooped shut.

Giving Heidi a wave in farewell, Altair began his journey back to his dorm room. Altair journey was short and didn't take long. The roads were now plowed and walking back was much more easier as Altair went on. Closing his eyes with a smile he soon enough reached his dorm room and fell fast asleep on top of his bed.

Time at the library moved on and though he wasn't bored he did wish to return to his dorm. His prayers were answered when the news of the entrance being plowed clear had reached him. Darrius rushed back home and fell fast asleep on his bed. Though he wished to message his new friend, he decided to do it the next day

I was sitting down in my wheelchair in the middle of a snowed field. I couldn't move the wheelchair but people were running around me, some were laughing, others were screaming. I wasn't entirely sure what was going on then there was a loud noise behind me. Everyone started running away and then Jessie, of all people, ran up to me and pulled my arm saying "Come on we have to run!"
I wasn't sure why but then I heard the loud noise again and was pulled up from the wheelchair and being pulled by Jessie... but I was running too and I felt no pain in my legs. we got up to a large building and Jessie let go of my hand and I collapsed to the ground. Now my legs were in pain and I couldn't move.
Jessie turned to me and ran over to help shouting, "Just stand up Wheels just stand up!"
I tried and fell once more to the ground. After a second whatever large thing was behind me was hovering over me. I closed my eyes and accepted what was happening and was pushed.
I rolled towards the building and Jessie ran back to me and picked me up and ran towards the building shouting, "Not that easily."

Bronagh woke up to an alarm clock feeling very sluggish. She stretched a bit before getting out of bed, she really didn't want to go to class but knew she had to.​

She turned off her alarm and got dressed, she brushed her hair then shoved it into a white hat. She decided today she wouldn't use the cane to get out of the wheelchair and succeeded. This meant she was recovering pretty quickly, but that didn't mean she would be totally recovered in...​

Bronagh grabbed her school bag and put her notebook and Farenheit 451 inside the bag and rolled out of the door to the mess hall. When she got there she found herself grabbing more food than she could probably eat. She wheeled over to a table and started to eat, singing to herself.​

She opened up her notebook as she was eating and looked over at the list. She scanned through until her eyes rested on Darrius Grey, "Aw man... there's my new friend on the list... why is everyone on the damn list..."​

Trying to let it all go... But how can I when you still don't know?​

Bronagh scanned through the list once more and was grateful to see her friend Jessie Edwards was not on the list. Thank god for something...​

Eyes fluttered open as Darrius stretched and yawn "damn dreams" Darrius said scratching the back of his head as he took off from the bed and headed into the shower to get dressed. Once done Darrius grinned happily as he walked out an noticed the time "hmmm what to do....ahhhh I almost forgot I have school to attend" Darrius said almost forgetting due to being trapped in the library for so long. "hmmm quite hungry...and I do have some time left before school.......ooooooooff to eat something" Darrius said happily as he skipped off to find something to eat.

Soon enough Darrius found a nice meal that he would like to call breakfast. He chewed on the bagel he got and held the tea he received with the other hand. As he walked on he noticed an all to familiar face and smiled happily as he walked up to his friendly friend that he met all the way at the library the other day. "Quite the good singing voice you got there" Darrius said to Bronagh as he closed his eyes and smiled.

With school going back to normal, Nate was in the mess hall eating breakfast. Looking around, he could see a few people that he recognize though only one of them he actually talked to. Maybe he would actually try talking to someone new, he was feeling in a better mood and there were five days left before he would have to head back home temporarily. In the meantime he continued to eat his cereal in peace.




Vergil was bored right now as he sat by himself eating some oatmeal. He was planning on missing another day of class, but decided to wait for another time to do that. He couldn't run his absences up before he actually had a valid reason to use them.

Bernadette walked down to breakfast alone. She and her roommate had endured an exceptionally long amount of time together. It would be best for her to just give Daniel a break for now. There time together had gone over smoothly for the most part, but like most new relationships, there were still plenty of rocky moments. They had definitely gotten on each others nerves, which oddly surprised Bernadette, given the fact that virtually no one could get on her nerves. She had been disappointed over the fact that classes were canceled for two days. While others might enjoy this extended time off, she found it to be a waste. She had come to America to learn, and that wasn't being provided thanks to the weather. Pleased to be back to her regular schedule finally, she skipped energetically into the large cafeteria that was the Dining Hall.

She looked forward to seeing the new friends she had made in the short period of time. Bernie hadn't seen much of Eleanora since that first day of class and hoped she would be in first period today. If the girl came down for breakfast, they could even walk together. There were the others, too. Spending the day with Bronagh had been riveting on Saturday and she truly hoped to encounter Quintus once more. Sie erwähnte etwas über die Orchestra Hall. Ich könnte wahrscheinlich finden sie dort. Bernadette gathered a rather health conscious breakfast on her plate-- scrambled egg whites, mixed fruit, turkey bacon, and dry toast. She was trying to get better about her eating habits. Her stomach wasn't accustomed to the crazy American food choices. She would need to go out soon and try some real cuisine. There was a French district in Brookridge, right? French food was always a good choice. She took a seat at a relatively empty table, it was still early. Aside from herself, it only had one other occupant. Bernie waved at the brown haired boy sitting adjacent. She set the tray down and gave him a bright smile. "Gutten Morgen," she greeted, before stuffing a forkful of egg in her mouth.

Vergil looked up when he heard the voice speak to him, What he saw was a blonde haired girl sitting in front of him. "Good morning." At least, that was what he assumed that she'd said. Foreign languages wasn't his strong point. "I'm Vergil and you are?" Hopefully he'd be able to fully understand her or at least take some wild guesses and hope that he was right.

She closed up her notebook a little quickly realizing it was still on the list of names and then looked back up at Darrius saying, "How are you doing this morning?" she rubbed her eyes and looked around the cafeteria. It was kind of interesting seeing how many people she could actually name now. She turned her attention back to Darrius after taking another bite of her food.​

At first, he had felt terribly guilty about leaving his dorm mate all alone during a potentially deadly snowstorm. Luckily, now that things were relatively normal for everyone again, the guilt was wearing off.

Theodore would never admit it aloud but his stay at Antilum hadn't actually been that bad this time. He spent most of his time in his room making idle conversation with KIERA, attempting to stay on top of studies despite not attending class, and writing. Dr. Timothy had left him be for the most part with the occasional popping in typical of a father, and he had been provided with warmth and amazing meals. ​

Yep. Not bad. ​

During his stay he had noticed a ridiculously large sum of money having been deposited into his checking account. Naturally he assumed his father was just being his usual hypocritical self. 'Get a job--here have some money'...but then he found a suspicious letter from some Ophiliantius person. A few hours spent pondering, he eventually concluded that this was some grand attempt to get him to use his father's money and decided not to touch it for now. Perhaps he would donate it. ​

Regardless, none of that mattered right now. Mrs. Price had reviewed his application and he had just ended a very brief and casual interview with her. Now to wait. He wasn't used to this whole waiting with anxiety for results thing. A glare was plastered on his face as he worried quietly to himself. ​

Coffee in hand (he was getting addicted to this stuff...), he took a seat and decided to spend his empty period reading. ​

Therapy was a beautiful thing, at first. Nora wasted no time opening up completely and utterly to this stranger. The woman's name was Karen (Dr. Lucas). Instantly, Nora found herself discouraged by the woman's thick golden-brown wave of curls... Then, she unfortunately took notice of Karen's dark, long, curly eyelashes, deep hazel eyes, and angular face. However, the feeling of jealousy was soon washed away by the therapist's surprising amount of tenderness. The way she listened and only smiled when appropriate, and how comfortable she made sure Nora was. It was nice expressing her worries and thoughts to someone who actually listened...and was alive.

The high she had experienced from attending the session was washed away by the storm. Yes, she had known it was coming and had prepared the dorm, but no she did not think it would get so bad. Since when did Brookridge have such dangerous snow storms? Unfortunately the buses had stopped running and she had thought it wise to attempt to walk back to Brookridge. ​

​

Her adventure alone in the snow had turned into a complete disaster and she ended up in the hospital with a twisted ankle. Everything was fine now, but those were the moments she wished she had a friend. A friend who was alive. ​

​

Speaking of friends...Though hesitant to approach, as she entered the cafeteria and grabbed a tray of food, Nora took immediate notice of the blonde transfer student she had met however long ago. She was engaged with someone, a boy, and though the brunette truly did not want to disturb them, she knew that disappearing on someone and never talking to them again was not the way to make friends. ​

❝H-Hello! Good morning!❞Goosebumps. Her nervousness and guilt made her divert her eyes as soon as she approached the table and sat down beside the blonde. She flashed a friendly smile to the stranger across from them, too. ​

Isabella jumped up. Bed sheets covered her legs and a pile of books sat at the foot of the bed. That's right, the blizzard lifted before the end of the day before. Though many had left the library as soon as it had been announced that they were able to leave, Isabella was not one of them. She had waited until the students she was listening, well, eavesdropping on began to leave before she made her own departure.​

​

Isabella clenched her fist at the thought. She had sat eavesdropping for hours, but not a single bit of information related to the email had come from the students' mouths. The only way to find out more was to find one of the others who received it. She shook her head at the thought. There was no sense in worrying about it at the moment. Now that the blizzard was over, school must have been back in session. She ran a quick shower and pulled on the school uniform before leaving the dormitory.​

"Come now, its at least better than mine, and I'd say if you actually tried to work on that voice you'd really get somewhere" Darrius said as he chuckled and took a seat across from his new friend. "The mornings can be quite rough, especially after having given the chance to skip school for a couple of days but nonetheless my morning has gone quite well. I got to have a nice breakfast and I even got to meet my new friend once again so I'm quite content even though its another school day" Darrius said happily. His eyes caught noticed of a very peculiar little list on the table but Darrius paid no mind to it and merely kept his attention at the girl. He really didn't want to ruin the day with unnecessary things. "So how was your day?" Darrius said.

"Good morning." The brown-haired boy greeted her. He looked a little confused. Was she speaking in German again? "I'm Vergil and you are?" he continued.

Bernadette set her fork down and flashed him a bright pearly-white toothy grin. "Nice zu meet Vir-jul. E am Bernie." She popped a grape into her mouth as a familiar brunette took a seat beside her. Bernie's eyes lit up at the sight of Eleanora. It was so good to see her again.

"El-uh-nor-uh! Zoh guud zu see yuu!" She gave the other girl an energetic hug as she smiled across the table at Vergil. With a light peck on the cheek, she released Eleanora and returned to her normal seated position. "Ver-jul, dis iz El-uh-nor-uh. Sie ist wunderbar!" Bernie took a bite of honeydew melon and glanced between her two companions. Electric blue eyes shone brightly in the fluorescent light that was the Dining Hall. She readjust the tie around her neck and nibbled on the toast. It was a good thing she had come down to breakfast when she did. Now, she got to meet someone new and see Eleanora. It was shaping up for a good day.

Cristina's alarm woke her up. After several days of missing school, she decided that she would attend today at least. Not being at school meant that she probably had a load of work to catch up with. She couldn't even begin to imagine how much more work would be left for her if she missed another day. The girl sighed, pulling herself off the bed.

Walking to school was a bit of a pain. The snowplows were in the middle doing their job, yes. Snow on the pathway wasn't her problem though. Cristina had been casually walking down to the main building when something cold smacked against the side of her head. She turned her head in that direction, to see what in the world was going on. It seemed that some of the other students were playing in the snow. Before they could even try to apologize, Cristina just walked away. Irritating. How old are you?

When she stepped into the school, she was surprised at the fact that there were fewer students here than she had expected. I guess people are still taking advantage of the weather. She sighed and walked to her first period class.

Bronagh listed to Darrius still smiling but smiled a bit more at the mention of "seeing my new friend again". She was pretty much done eating at this point, not because she was eating fast but because she was almost full. She took a sip of orange juice as he asked.​

She swallowed her drink and took a second to reply, "Well, I'm usually a morning person, but not today really. I'm probably still exhausted after being trapped in the library though." she shrugged as she took another sip, swallowed, then continued, "It's been a typical morning so far other than that. But it's very nice to see you again so soon." she chuckled a bit before finishing, "Only lately have I seen people more often than usual. I usually see someone once a week and that's the end of it. Lately I've been seeing people every.... other day?" she figured the question couldn't be answered so she shrugged and drank another sip of juice again.​

Her heart beat quickened with the kiss and her lips formed a smile. What a relief! Bernie didn't seem to hate her guts. Her arms wrapped back around the energetic girl in a friendly hug before she returned to her original position and popped a cube of cantaloupe onto her tongue. The way Bernie said her name made her want to giggle, but she respectfully held back.

It was genuine, though she felt a bit more reserved towards him. Nora wondered if maybe this get-breakfast-and-walk-to-class-together thing could become a routine between Bernie and her. ​
