It seemed that they'd not only gotten Elise to tag along with them, but someone else too. They certainly weren't wasting anytime in picking up new people, that much was for certain. The pet she was brining along was definitely something that he wasn't expecting. A pet cat was one thing, but an ocelot was something entirely different. Well as long it was taken care of he didn't see a reason to worry about it too much.
Upon arriving at the hotel, Logan went ahead to his room and plopped on the bed. As per usual there were some question on his mind and he planned on asking Samael for some answers. After all most of is questions were about him in the first place. With that in mind, he closed his eyes and soon drifted off to sleep.

Soren sighed out, upset that Cal refused to go with him to the basement. He could have taken care of himself. Maybe she was the one who was scared. Then again, he couldn't have protected both Cal and his sister. Even if he wasn't old enough to kill demons he did not have any plans on actually getting caught down there nor did a little gore scare him. Though the same could not be said for his sister.

In the end, they went to some mirror room where Cal showed the two Mali and the man he was with. Mali was definitely older-looking than the last time they saw him. 'But still not as big as me.' Soren confidently thought to himself. His mood was finally beginning to improve when Alistair had to step in again, uninvited. Why wouldn't he just leave them alone? He was getting tired and figured that the girls in the room were too. Soren pulled on Cal's hand and lead her back to their room. Anna wasn't happy with being the last of the three.

"Thanks for showing us the room..." Soren spoke lowly, remembering some amount of manners. "When I'm older, we can go to the basement. Then the monsters won't hurt us." Something important had to be down there. Danger was hardly a reason to keep them out of there, not with the kind of people living here. Everyone was dangerous. He just had to become stronger than them. Soren's eyes followed Anna as she went straight to bed before turning over towards Cal. "Good night." He wanted to say more, but he was still terrible with coming up with words to describe things that didn't involve him being angry. Soren went to bed unsure if he would be able to sleep. He wondered what he would have seen if he looked through one of those mirrors. Part of him hoped to see his parents, his real ones, and the other part of him doubted that they were still alive. 'If they were, they were probably already asleep...' And Soren was right.

Alice was not happy at the sound of Hana's words. All she wanted was for Lauren and herself to keep out of it. She knew there would be something dangerous involved and she wasn't wrong at all, she was just upset that there was no way to peacefully back out on the situation.
Now she was in Hell, and she had no idea what Lauren was up to. Maybe she managed to stay out of it? Or what if she didn't. Alice felt like some form of bait, although she wasn't being shoved in anyone's faces. She couldn't imagine what Lauren felt.
Then suddenly, Alice felt afraid for all everyone who would end up pissing Lauren off.
At the mention of sitting down, she nodded in understanding and took a seat on the bed. She had no idea what time it was, but even if it was night and a good time to fall asleep. Alice couldn't bring herself to sleeping, and she sat quietly in thought and in nervousness.

Lauren was really glad she could take Avery along. She didn't end up taking much with her, a couple pairs of clothes, hygiene products, basic little things that could easily be packed in a suitcase. She really didn't bother grabbing anything else. She told her parents she was heading back home and they didn't seem to really care all that much.
On the plane ride, she was petting Avery and thinking about Alice the entire time. The words the man had spoken were sinking in more and more, and she kept feeling this need to get them back, it was only growing worse and worse. Almost making her grow impatient for it.
For the first time ever, she wanted to break something, or someone.
After they landed in the place Lauren always called New Seaworld, they went to a hotel. Lauren didn't really want to sleep, but she felt like she had to. She watched the blonde boy she shot at earlier go into a room, she assumed going to bed.
When she was in bed, she felt alone. It was the first time in a long time she was in a bed without knowing Alice was nearby, without her being in bed with her. Without having her presence there. It made the angry twenty-two year old cry to herself until she fell asleep.

lice took a seat on the edge of the bed, but still seemed incredibly uneasy. That was a given. Hana wasn't exactly level headed at the moment either, but she was trying to do her best to relax the Asian woman. She slid over on the bed, using what little bit of leeway the bindings gave her to allow more room for Alice. It's not much, but I do have enough slack to allow room for you to sleep on the bed. It's better than the chair I'd imagine. This situation is obviously not ideal, but in a way, it's sort of good for you. So long as you're here with me, nothing is going to happen to you, which is best for both Ahriman - er, Lauren, and yourself. Hell is a dangerous place, but in this room, you're safe. As much as you would like to protect your partner, she's better off without you.

One look told Hana that what she said could easily be misinterpreted. Even with being 5,000 years old, she still wasn't that great when it came to talking to people. 4,500 years spent hiding in the shadows could do that to a person. Excuse me, that didn't come out how I meant it. I do apologize Alice and I hope you'll forgive me. I just mean, Lauren's greatest weakness right now would be keeping you safe, which would hinder her ability to progress and be of service to the others. With you here, they can't use you against her in any way that will keep her from growing stronger -- becoming less self - destructive. I'm sorry if that really didn't help make things any better.

She sighed and rolled her head to the side. I've never been great at talking to people. Please lie down and try to rest. After a good night's rest, perhaps the two of us can come up with some sort of plan to get out of here. I'm sure you want to get back to Lauren quickly and I'd like to get back to everyone else as well. Hana smiled sadly. There was a pain in her chest that she swallowed down and took a deep breath. She couldn't let Temeluchas's words about Samuel's betrayal get to her. It was such an elaborate plan that it seemed too complex for Sam, but that could have been an act as well. She shook her head and blinked back the desire to cry. A stray tear leaked out of the corner of her eye and she rubbed her face against her shoulder.

Sleep. She needed sleep. It wasn't as easy as Hana hoped. That figured. Right now she could actually go for that sleeping spell Temeluchas kept putting on her. At least then her mind would shut down for a few hours and she could try to ease her own mind. So long as they were trapped in Hell, there would be a lot of restless nights. Hana wasn't sure how long it was before she finally fell asleep, but even once she did manage to slip into unconsciousness, it wasn't pleasant.

It was such a waste really that it pissed him off. To fall without such grace was pitiful and in Alistair's eyes it would have been better off if he just killed the kid and moved on with his life. That kid was special but now he wouldn't even be able to figure out what was special about him now that he was slowly dying off to whatever Mali was doing to him. It only took him a moment, but Alistair calmed down and let out another sigh.

The kids were growing tired and soon enough they were off towards their bed to get some shut eye. Tomorrow would be a new day and he felt the kids had enough of a break from his lectures, so they would begin again now that they were a good deal older than when they started off. Eyes closed he smirked before walking off out of the room and back into the large and grand hallway.

Regulus was still in the operating room and Alistair figured that the mad professor would be staying there all night long so he merely walked on towards his bedroom. There was nothing much for him to do at moment so Alistair decided he should sleep and prepare for the next day. Entering the room he placed the cane he carried beside his bed and collapsed on the bed with a sigh. The mirrors were quite interesting and with them he had better access to the goings of the actual world. He closed his eyes before drifting of to sleep.

Kai was pretty much out of it after the possession. He was still in denial that it even happened, no matter what the others said. There was no way that a voice came from inside his head that managed to project itself to the others. He had curled up in the car on the way to pick up some girl who brought with a giant cat that was like the size of a large dog. Jeez that thing was terrifying. His head was pounding and he slept the entire plane ride. By the time they made it to ... to ... New Zealand(?) -- why they were headed there, he had no idea -- he didn't feel nearly as drained, but he was still tired.

He followed the others upstairs and took a random key, not really caring who he had as a sleeping partner. When he opened the door, Kai discovered it was Adam. He sighed. Oh well, it could be worse. He just hoped he would never get stuck with Brandon, because he had a feeling that no sleep would get done. The other Brit would spend the entire night taunting him about the fact that he couldn't respond to anything. At least, that's what he pictured would happen if he was ever left alone with the silver - haired boy for an extended period of time. He was afraid of the even slight possibility that might actually be true.

Kay threw his stuff down on the floor and pulled off his high tops. His ankle finally stopped hurting officially and he sighed in relief. It felt nice to no longer be in pain after three days of barely being able to walk. He stripped down to his boxers and peeled back the sheets on his bed. Kai didn't take longer than a minute to get himself situated under the bed and have the lights turned off. It felt like forever since he last slept in a bed, even if it was just this morning.

HIS LIDS OPENED SLOWLY AND THE BRIGHT LIGHT BLINDED HIS DULL EYES. THEY HAD LOST THEIR PALE GOLDEN SHINE AND APPEARED AS LIFELESS AS HE FELT. LEON ROLLED IN BED, VOMITING THE CONTENTS OF YESTERDAY'S MEAL INTO THE TRASH STATIONED NEARBY. FOOTSTEPS PADDED DOWN THE HALL AND A SMALL FIGURE APPEARED IN THE DOORWAY, CLEARLY IN A PANIC. HER HAND WAS PRESSED TO HER CHEST AND HER FACE FLUSHED RED. LEON WIPED HIS MOUTH ON THE BACK OF HIS HAND AND MANAGED A SMILE. "HEY BABY. IT'S OKAY. I'M FINE."

"Papa, you don't look fine." SHE TOLD HIM. MALI WALKED INTO THE ROOM LOOKING OLDER THAN SHE HAD IN DAYS. HER CHANGE HADN'T GONE UNNOTICED, BUT HE WASN'T REALLY QUESTIONING IT AFTER WHAT HAPPENED IN RUSSIA.

HE PATTED THE BED BESIDE HIM AND HELD OUT HIS ARMS. MALI CURLED UP BESIDE HIM AND LEON WRAPPED HIS ARMS AROUND THE GIRL. "YOU'RE SO BIG NOW. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST YOU'RE GROWING." HE WHISPERED INTO HER HAIR. LEON BURIED HIS FACE INTO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AND HELD THE CHILD CLOSE TO HIM.

"Auntie Lu says it's because of you - of what we are." SHE REPLIED.

LEON NODDED HIS HEAD SLOWLY AND SIGHED. "I JUST WANT TO REST A LITTLE WHILE LONGER. IS THAT OKAY MALI?" HE ASKED. HIS DAUGHTER NODDED AND THEY LAID DOWN WITH HIS ARMS WRAPPED AROUND HER STILL. IT WAS COMFORTING TO HAVE MALI WITH HIM WHILE HE ATTEMPTED TO SLEEP OFF THIS ILLNESS. SHE HAD BEEN WORKING SO HARD FOR IT. IT MAKE THE GOLDEN MAN FEEL SO VERY GUILTY.

Sal woke up that morning feeling nice a refreshed. There was no dream world fighting and no getting the shit kicked out of him by weird creatures made of writhing darkness. He didn't even have to do any real world fighting with Brandon yesterday. He just got into bed and slept the night and day away. And it was quite the nice sleep. Pulling himself out of bed, he started to walk downstairs and get ready for the day's challenges. Some good old fashion angel hunting would be done. Ah the good old days. It's not like he might be pulled off to go on some random detour to go save some dying sick man. Nope. Just good old fashion angel hunting.

He went to go eat some good old fashion breakfast and got back into the lobby after devouring a good portion of his meal. He then saw that Richard was suddenly in the seat in the lobby...sleeping. He was positive the man went to a room...and was sure that he wasn't in the other room eating breakfast...this guy was fast. It was then that Brandon came through the hotel doors with a skip in his step. The boy seemed awfully happy about something. On closer inspection, it looked like the young boy had gone perusing around town and found a sports store. He was now toting around a tennis racket and tennis ball and was just bouncing it around gleefully now. With nothing much left to do, the trio just stood in the lobby waiting.

Kai had woken up and showered first thing. He was sick of wearing the same clothes for practically a week straight and as soon as he was out of the shower and dressed he made his way down to the reception desk to get directions. The woman at the front desk was helpful, using her computer to find the nearest money transfer shop. She gave him a map and it didn't take him much time at all to make it there. After a bit of time spent receiving directions and learning how to work the machine, he entered in his bank account information and not long later, had cash in hand. It felt good to have money once more and he used it to go shopping. He bought new clothes, which he changed into at the store and disposed of his old ones; a new notebook, and a pack of new pens. He felt a lot better after that.

On his way back, Kai saw Brandon heading towards the hotel and he slowed his walking pace, putting more distance between himself and the Brit. He just really didn't want to end up being seen by him and then have to walk together. Kai got the feeling that his head might explode or something if he did. Brandon seemed to be playing with a tennis racket and ball on his way back and which led him to believe that the kid must have gone out to buy it since he hadn't had one after the shipwreck.

When the silver - haired teen entered the hotel, Kai waited a couple more minutes before following after him and walking inside. He seemed to be lingering in the lobby with Sal and ... well sort of Richard. Kai gripped the strap of his backpack tighter and gave the two that were awake a small wave. He got a sense of deja vu considering this was relatively how things started off yesterday.

In the dark liquid, Hay Sun continued to see things that weren't there. Home was beckoning again, but what else was new? . . . Then again, there was something different about now. It was scary, the thought of what was waiting for her if she went back. And it's not like she could just do it willy-nilly however and whenever the hell she pleased.

Her hands tightened around the mug, her head feeling almost scarily empty. Uriel hadn't talked to her for days. Weeks, maybe, even. That made her nervous. She still felt powerful, still felt his power, but what was wrong with him? Fucking angels, stressing her out like this . . . She was kind of starting to hate them. Paco – that fucking piece of shit idiot – was gone and so was Hana. Still. That situation didn't make sense to her. She didn't know what was happening.

What she did know was that she hadn't tried to look for Pretty Boy. Saving the world was more important.

Right?

She fucking hated this feeling nagging in the back of her head. A small part of her mind knew. France. Russia. Russia. France. France.

France.

Hay Sun abruptly stood from her seat and her cup of coffee fell over. She ran out of the dining room and to her shared room with Jun Tae. When the door flew open, he looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

I'm going home.❞ she told him, snatching up her backpack that had recently been restocked.

He stared at her.

What, do you not speak English?❞ Her French accent grew thicker along with her irritation. ❝Fix me up a jet. Get me back home.

This is sudden. Has something happened?❞ There was a strange edge to her brother's voice that Hay Sun could have stupidly confused with concern. ❝You know you can't just leave like this. We have obligations to –

Fuck obligations. I need to get back home, Jun Tae. There's something – no, there's someone waiting for me.

Her brother eased up. ❝You're not going alone.❞ he told her as he pulled out his phone. ❝Take Sal and Vincent with you.

Her face lit up in protest and her eyes flashed. ❝No fucking way –

Are you forgetting Raphael is an Archangel? And Zachariel is very strong now. They'll protect you. You either take those two or you don't go at all.

Do you think you're going to stop me?❞ A vibrant aura began to whip around her.

Just an hour later, Hay Sun was sitting in a small private jet, facing away from her two forced companions and silently wishing their death. She would have just tossed them out as soon as they were off the ground, but . . . It was too much trouble. Instead, she flared a dangerous aura around her that told those two not to bother her.

The trip was said to be two days at most, a day and a quarter at the least. She wanted to get back home as soon as possible. There was . . . She just knew it, there was something waiting for her.

Wait for me.

Lu sat at the kitchen table with Alistair at her side. She picked at her talon nails without a care and Malignavérunt came walking out into the kitchen to greet her. Lu forced a smile, then returned to her nails. The child pulled out a chair and took a seat at the table with her hands folded in her lap. Lu sighed and set her own down on the table, glancing over at Mali. "What is it dear?" she asked flatly.

"Oh, nothing. It shouldn't be much longer now. I think he has like ... half a day left? I followed your instructions like you said." Mali lifted her head, the white hair falling around her shoulders. Her eyes flickered back and forth between gold and black. The glamour Lu had put on her was fading as expected. She snapped her fingers and the flickering stopped, settling the girl's eye color on the solid black that they really were.

"Good. Another twelve hours and he'll be dead. This has been fun. Watching him slowly die has been a joy. It completely makes up for your failure." Lu pointed at Alistair and rolled her eyes with a sigh. At least he would be dead now. Even if those three on their way managed to make it in time, they wouldn't be able to heal him. There was also nothing Alistair could do to interfere with his death. She pretty much just brought him with to show that she was still mad at him for not killing Ariel in the first place.

Her dad had gone absolutely insane when he had come home to find her running the shop. She was completely jetlagged, but there was something . . . Something. It felt so good to be home, to be embraced by her dad so tightly. It felt so nice to feel safe. She tried not to cry.

After tearful greetings with her dad, Hay Sun introduced Sal and Vincent, and he basically chatted all of their ears off. It was kind of beautiful and terrible, she thought, that he didn't know the situation of her life now, or how she knew these two people from Italy, or how she had met her long-estranged brother.

When they first landed, Hay Sun had thoroughly threatened the both of them; they were here on business and her dad was to know nothing about who any of them truly were or what they were doing. Trusting them to value their lives, they had gone to the shop – it felt so damn good to see it again – and stayed the night there. Dinner had been festive and then they were at the next day.

Now that the greetings were over, Hay Sun dragged Sal and Vincent along with her to begin their search for . . . She didn't know if they would actually find him, or if he was actually in France at all, but she just . . . Ugh. There was something here, and it was connected to Pretty Boy and everything. He just had to be in Paris. Where else would he be? This was where it all started for her.

Putting her years of gymnastics and track-running/swimming to use, Hay Sun began to scour the city, worming and slithering through the even the ugliest cracks and nooks of Paris that tourists would be aghast to see or imagine. Her father had apparently bought five new motorcycles while she was away and lent them to the group of three, sending them off with a 'be careful' and 'come back this time'. That put the guilt on her so fucking much, and she almost screame at her dad for saying such a thing, but there was no point in it.

She wanted to start as far away from the shop as possible and then work her way back towards it, so that's what they did. Vincent and Sal asked no questions, but it wasn't like she was up to giving answers; time spent explaining was time wasting away and she couldn't have that. There was no indication but a damned hunch, but Hay Sun felt like time was running short.

Still, even if it hadn't been that long since she left her home, it felt like it had been years, and she couldn't help but animatedly point out all of the places she knew. The school day was in and they passed by the private academy she had once attended to see students hanging outside in the front courtyard and everywhere else. Hay Sun had had half a mind to stop and catch up with her friends, but the more rushed, nervous side of her kept her on track and the passed by it without stopping.

When they were coming back near the shop, she started to get worried. Was she wrong after all? Was this trip a waste? Feeling frustrated, stressed, and angry, she began to emit a flow of power that created a near-crushing pressure for the people around her. It would be completely bullshit if she didn't find Pretty Boy. She needed to find him. She . . . Shit. She needed him. To be okay, to be alive. To be there.

She fucking hated him.

Just as she was ready to level the city, she saw a familiar gleam of black and dark teal from the corner of her eye and she slid her bike to an abrupt stop. Taking a deep breath, she slowly turned her head and then . . .

That's mine.❞ she breathed, suddenly lacking oxygen in her brain. Hay Sun turned off the bike she was on. It was parked next to a relatively hidden flat. ❝That's . . . That's my bike.

Her pale eyes scrutinized the bike and then the building, and then finally, the door. Her heart thumped violently, almost painfully, in her chest and ears as she stood, rigid, staring at the door. It looked like she either wanted to banish it from this plane of existence, set it ablaze, or kick it down.

Her blood suddenly surged through her veins and she felt it. Uriel. He didn't say anything, but now he was making her move. Towards the door. Up the small amount of steps, and then she raised her arm. A small part of her had a bad feeling about this, but fuck it.

She knocked. The door exploded.

She began to run through the flat, searching every room, practically destroying and knocking over everything in her way. She didn't know if Vincent or Sal followed, but she had a bad feeling about the place and she might need backup. On the one she – Uriel – thought was the right one, she threw it open.

"Don't you think we should wait for the others?"

"No. They've only managed to botch things up." Henrik adjusted his coat and opened the door, waiting for Iris to head out of their room. They immediately left the hotel and drove back to Cora's apartment where the girl would likely still be at this time of day. Without the compass on them, he just had to hope they would catch her before she went out.

Unfortunately, when they arrived to her apartment, no response was given when Henrik knocked on the door. He tried again, thinking that perhaps Cora had been scared off by the others but after a few minutes of waiting around and taking a not-to-subtle look around, they figured that Cora had already left. The second time they approached her, Cora had been by the beach. Henrik was not too fond of beaches. He was used to beaches having cold water all the time and even though that was just due to where he lived, it did not make him too eager to head to the beach.

After another trip in the car the couple finally arrived at the beach. Almost immediately Henrik spotted the girl taking pictures. It would have been embarrassing if he had not found her after all the trouble he had just went making sure they got to her first.

"Are you sure-"

"I am." Henrik approached Cora, carefully thinking on what he would say to avoid a repeat of their last meeting. The girl's accent was Russian, he could place that anywhere, so he figured speaking in that language would help smooth things out. "Good morning, Cora. We'd like to speak with you again. It seems my...colleagues did not make a very good impression with you."

Anna rubbed her eyes as she sat up, once more finding that her brother was not in the room with her and Cal. She started to lay down again, thinking that Soren probably was just running around like yesterday. 'The basement!' She jumped out of bed, hoping to catch her brother before he got himself hurt. Not two steps after having ran outside their room she was knocked down on her back suddenly.

"Ow!" Anna rubbed her hand against her forehead and frowned as she looked up at the one who just bumped into her. It was her brother. "Soren?"

"Watch where you're going, Anna." The boy helped his sister up to her feet and looked her over to make sure he hadn't hurt her. The worried look on her face said it all. "I wasn't going there, not now." He scratched the back of his head and thought for a moment as Anna gave him a hard stare. "I'm fine...but running doesn't get me tired anymore." Soren thought that by waking up even earlier and pushing his body harder than he did yesterday, he would have been out of strength by now but it seemed that their growth meant more than just getting bigger each day.

Soren peeked into their room to find that Cal was still asleep. He did not want to wake her up this time so instead he decided on doing something else. "Let's go to that mirror room."

Amber eyes slowly began to open up and were greeted by the pitch black sight of the room. In such a place one would have such a difficult time even realizing if their eyes were even opened or not, but Alistair recalled this placed with a vivid memory. It was no surprise that he would end up in this room once more and meet him again. He remained in a standing position as if having slept standing up in the dark world, his eyes calmly glanced around and spotted the only source of light he could find. Legs crossed and floating in the air the man sat, as if on an invisible chair.

“Good Morning Alistair…”

Alistair closed his eyes and smirked and placed his hands in his jacket pockets. The sheer feeling of paralysis continued to assault his body and even moving his hands to his pockets proved to be a great feat for him. A chuckle managed to escape his lips and his eyes reopened to glance over at Azrael as he sat haughtily above him.

“I doubt you brought me here to wish me a good morning….let’s get started already”

“Ah…impatient are we? That’s good, I’d rather skip the formalities”

Azrael let out a small chuckle before raising his hand and snapped his finger. The sudden sound echoed throughout the area and Alistair’s eyes widened as a sudden force sent Alistair flying backwards. Soaring back, gravity finally took effect and Alistair’s back collided with the ground and skid backwards until he slowed to a stop. Fighting against the feeling of gravity that assaulted his body, Alistair slowly began to rise to his feet and stared ahead over at Azrael who sat far away. Due to the distance all the angel really looked to Alistair was a shining speck, but even so Alistair knew the angel still had his usual smile on his face as he watched him.

“Your task is to find your way over to me…simple no? You can walk, run, or do whatever the hell you want”

Despite the distance, Azrael’s voice echoed loud and clear and confirmed the feeling Alistair had about the angel being quite amused by going of the task.

“Simple? Tsk”

Alistair replied quietly with a small smile, quite amused by the angel of death’s humor. Just moving his body was a challenge and Alistair knew there was more to this world. Regardless there was nothing he could do other than to proceed further. He raised his foot and struggled to take step forward, but all too instantly a searing feeling pain began to spread from his foot. Alistair narrowed his eyes and gritted his teeth before glancing down at his foot

“Looks like I was right…”

Alistair muttered as he stared down at the sword that had found its way through Alistair’s foot. Enduring, Alistair took another step forward with his other foot, but another sword descended from the black skies and pierced through the foot. Things were definitely looking bad for Alistair, but he knew that he couldn’t hesitate now. He reached down and pulled the swords out from his feet and proceeded further with all his might. A storm of bladed fell from above, piercing Alistair’s body until finally he fell to his back. Five blades had found themselves lodged into Alistair’s chest, three had managed to hit the arms, four were stuck in the legs, and one managed to strike through his forhead. He slowly tried to rise to his feet once more, stumbling and falling numerous times until finally he managed to stay on his feet. Hesitation filled Alistair and the man just heavily panted as he stared forward.

“How disappointing…why don’t we increase the incentive shall we?”

The loud voice echoed throughout the area and the sound of snapping fingers soon followed it as well. The floor beneath Alistair began to distort and from it raised ghastly ghouls rising from the distortion in the ground. Their flesh was melted and remained like a mud like substance that clung to their body, their nails and teeth were sharp yet jagged, and their very face showed the very tale of their damnation. Faces that showed the anguish of thousands of years of despair, they stared up at Alistair as they rose and began to grip his legs with their claw like hands and crawl up from the abyss.

Eyes widened as he stared down at the ghouls and immediately began to sweat. The paralysis effect he felt grew stronger to the point that he couldn’t move his body and despite this it did not fall. All Alistair could do was stand there as his body shivered in attempt to move. The ghouls continued to climb higher and higher until their mouths began to open. Their flesh was insufficient, they needed more, they needed living flesh. Five ghouls rose up and with their claw like fingers they dug into Alistair body before finally sinking their teeth in the glorious flesh they desired. Alistair’s eyes widened as he opened his mouth, but couldn’t utter a single word. Their jagged teeth sunk in deep tugging and ripping at the flesh of Alistair and they struggled trying to pull out the flesh like a rusted saw slowly cutting through a board.

“You may thing this is some trick…that your body has forsaken you and stopped moving…but this is all you’re doing…what you are experiencing is true fear. Once these husks finish devouring your flesh you too will join them. You will lose that mind of yours and become nothing more than a mindless beast…roaming…searching around for a life you will never get again”

Azrael’s voice was cold and sure, Alistair knew that the angel held no lies in his words and could not brush them aside. His fear was the cause of all this and he was going to lose everything. Amber eyes began vacant as he stood there slowly being devoured, the facts blurring by in his mind. He was going to die without doing anything, all because of fear…

“I won’t let it happen…if I am to lose it all then so be it…but I will not let it be because of something stupid like fear”

His voice was quiet, but held a strong resolve as well. If it meant he could proceed then he would cast away his fear…no…he would make it his weapon. Eyes were closed and a smirk grew upon his face. The arms that couldn’t move were effortlessly brought to his chest and crossed. Almost immediately giant blade pierced out of his body and impaled the ghouls. Taken away from their meal the ghouls began to wail as they flailed about trying to remove themselves from the blade.

“Moving trash…how disgusting…now take your leave…trash only belongs in the garbage…..get out of my sight”

The blades returned into his body and the ghouls fell to the floor, writhing around as their bodies began to corrode into nothingness. Paying no heed to what happened Alistair took a step forward. A blade headed straight towards Alistair’s head but he casually moved his body to the side and gripped the blade pierced through his skull. Another blade flew forward, but Alistair pulled the blade out of his skull and parried. The two swords shattered and Alistair began to run forward. Swords continued to descend at him and though struck, Alistair retaliated. Blades that impaled him were used against the assault and blades forged out of his body were used as well. Closer and closer he started to reach Azrael. A sword shot out of his palm and he used it to deflect the final blade before leaping upwards at the angel of death. With blade in hand he raised the blade ready to swing the blade downwards, but everything froze.

“Impressive…but time is up...with your fears now gone it seems that you are worthy enough…”

The dakr world shattered once more and the world only truly fitting of the word hell was revealed. The flaming wasteland and thousands of ghouls were all there ready to greet Alistair.

“Let us see how far this resolve shall go…”

The last two days had been spent basically training his power and body further along with teaching the children a few lessons as well. The moment he had awaited from Azrael had finally come and he could tell this moment had done something for him. He was growing even further with each of these encounters and he felt stronger and stronger, both physically and mentally. Other that this it was just a normal day for him in hell, until his mistress came up to him with quite the odd request.

Soon enough the two were off to Leon's place and together they sat with the girl named Mali. Tempy was surely taking joy about how Leon was dying and Alistair smiled softly as he leaned back on his chair and began rocking it back. "Failure? hmm I dunno...it would be a failure if I actually desired to kill him..." Alistair said casually closing his eyes with a grin. She was surely not going to let it pass and he could obviously tell. "Besides...if he is going to die like this then I might as well have killed him" Alistair said with a sigh before letting the thought go.

And so three hours had passed from the time their little discussion had taken form. Alistair never really knew Mali quite well so he took the time to talk to the girl and get to know her better in order to see how similar she was to her sister. It was a nice moment, but then a commotion was formed and Alistair raised his eyebrow before closing his eyes and letting out a small chuckle "Weeeeeeeell things are going to get a shitload more interesting" Alistair said opening his eyes with a grin.

The door burst open and Lu pursed her lips. It was about time. She wouldn't have been here if she didn't believe that Uriel wouldn't come for Ariel before he died. It would make things that much more sweet to watch the Archangel suffer, or least his human suffer. That would in turn put him in pain. Either way, she was fine with it.

"Weeeeeeeell things are going to get a shitload more interesting." Always so crass that one.

Lu nodded and rested a hand on Mali's shoulder. "Malignavérunt, go to the bedroom. I don't want them seeing you just yet. Make your father happy before he dies so tragically." The child nodded her head and ran off to the bedroom. She leaned back against the chair and waited for the three to enter the kitchen. A dark smile spread across her face and mist coiled around her wrist. When they walked in, Lu nodded to them. "Hello pets. Glad you could make it in time. I didn't think you would get to say goodbye, and that would just be oh so sad." She made a pouty face and began to unwind the bandages from around her arms.

Nothing. There wasn't anyone in the room. Hay Sun clenched her fist and then slammed it into the wall. She jet back down to the door to slid to a stop in front of the kitchen. She just barely caught a small arm running around the corner down the hall.

Clenching her teeth, she glared at Temeluchas. ❝Hello pets. Glad you could make it in time. I didn't think you would get to say goodbye, and that would be oh-so-sad.

Hay Sun wanted to rip the bitch's fucking face off. ❝Where is he?❞ she bit out, using every ounce of her self-control to not attack. ❝Where's Leon? If you don't tell me, I'm going to fucking end you.

Temeluchas sat there smiling as the Archangel wore the angry look on her face. It was beautiful. "Where is he?" Hay Sun bit out, "Where's Leon? If you don't tell me, I'm going to fucking end you."

Lu shook her head, still smiling. She rose to her feet and rested one hand on the table, leaning against it. "There's no need to get so upset Pet. Threatening me won't help you and no one has to die ... well, I mean, except Ariel and he's right down the hall. Although, he's changed since you last saw him. It's amazing that Gabriel even answered your call. They normally ignore the rest of us." She glanced down at her nails again before shoving the gauze into her back pocket. Lu's small wings stretched out and she pointed behind her to the back bedroom. "You should prepare yourself Hay Sun White. He doesn't have much longer."

God, that fucking smile was the most annoying thing in existence.

There's no need to get so upset, Pet.

I'm not your fucking pet.❞ Hay Sun spat.

Threatening me won't help you and no one has to die . . . well, I mean, except Ariel and he's right down the hall. Although, he's changed since you last saw him. It's amazing that Gabriel even answered your call. They normally ignore the rest of us.

Hay Sun opened her mouth to shoot a least a thousand obscenities about angels, archangels, demons, and Dark Angels, and how she couldn't give a flying fuck about any of them at the moment. If Pretty Boy was dying, then there was no time to waste. ❝They wouldn't even think about ignoring me.❞ she hissed, and then looked at the door to the hallway behind Temeluchas. ❝I don't have time for you.❞ she murmured quickly, and then darted around the Dark Angel, down the hall and then broke the knob getting the door opened.

The room was . . . darkened, but the stench of rotting life was strong. She looked around until she found a bed with two figures curled up on it. She took a step forward, and then another. She was standing near the foot of the bed now. ❝. . . Pretty Boy . . . ?

The tired man slowly lifted his body upright, cracking his neck as he sat there. What they had him doing was nothing too complicated. He stood up from his bed and stretched out his arms and waited for Chicken Wings to bring him to the tunnel he'd been working in for the past couple of days.

"What are you doing?" The angel's voice rang out in his head.

"Waiting to go to the tunnel."

"We're not going today."

"What?" Sam asked, unclear on what he meant.

"It's as I said: We are not going today. I have different plans."

"And what would they be?" He didn't like the sound of where this was going.

"We're training today, so prepare yourself." Great. Just great. Now Abaddon wanted to get into the swing of things by training him. "Quit dawdling and make your way to the training room." At his command, Sam made his way from his room to the training area. He had no idea what was going to happen now. "Good, let's begin." As soon as the angel spoke those words, a figure started to manifest itself across from where Sam stood.

"What the hell?" The words escaped him as he watched the form take shape. Snarling came from the large, bipedal wolf standing across from him.

"You'll be fighting this as a starter. If you cannot beat him, then I'll have to train you even harder before I even teach you to wield more of my powers." The wolf man inched closer as drool fell from its gaping maw. "Well, what are you waiting for? Draw your weapon!"

No sooner did he draw his sword did the lycanthrope lunge at the man standing before it. It gnawed at the blade that blocked him from sinking its fangs into flesh. Sam pushed it away before running towards the wolf man to cut it down. However, the wolf swiftly dodged his blade before slashing at him. Its claws sank into Sam's skin, dragging across his arm and leaving four parallel wounds behind.

"Injured already? It hasn't even been five minutes. How reckless of you." The Angel of Destruction commented. "If this is how you fight, then I'm surprised you've managed to live this long." Sam braced himself as the werewolf came at him once again.
