Not much can be said about what Logan did for the rest of the day. Once Elise and Kai had left, he wasted no time distancing himself from Nasir. He had little intentions of getting into a fight with him again. For the most part after that he did some walking around before returning to his room and getting some sleep.

Nasir spent a couple of hours after people had departed just hanging around in the dining area, coming about as close to relaxing as he could. He then explored the rest of the town, making sure to visit his client and deliver the drugs, and eventually he found himself back in the hotel. He played around with the key that sat in his pocket next to the flier he had grabbed earlier, unsure whether he wanted to spend the night there or not. While he did trust Elsie, he couldn't really guarantee he wouldn't make some remark that would cause trouble.

It was this thought that caused Nasir to slap himself in the face. Since when did he care about the consequences of his remarks? He pinned it down to jetlag, or at least that's what he was blaming, and quickly walked to Elsie's room. He didn't bother to knock, he simply walked into the room and saw that Elsie was asleep. Making sure to lock the door behind him, he contemplated waking her to stir up trouble, but decided against it. Not only was it possibly a bad idea to annoy the one that had decided to give him shelter, but in the tired state he was in he would have trouble keeping up in a conversation with the girl, so he continued walking past her and went over to the vacant bed, and simply collapsed in it, much as he had the night before, and quickly slumber took its hold.

Soren and Anna headed back to the room after not so much exploring. Though Soren was disappointed, the time he spent trying to talk to Cal rather than picking on her was spent better than he thought it would be. Soren said good night to the blonde girl first before going over towards the pair of beds he and his sister slept in. Anna was already asleep. He frowned since she did not even say good night to him and went to his own bed and sat on it, staying up for awhile to think things over. Cal seemed to open up quickly when he started being nice. He liked not fighting with her.

The boy laid down wondering why he had never tried it sooner. He turned over on his side and yawned, too tired to come up with a reason other than "she was a girl". It didn't make much sense, but it didn't need to for him. Eventually he fell asleep.

Henrik walked into the room expecting Iris to already be fast asleep but instead she was sitting on the bed, waiting for him. "Where were you all day?"

"Moving a car." He responded bluntly. The first few attempts to move the stolen car was met with little success but once he grew used to the weight, the thing finally budged. Considering that the brakes were still on, that wasn't all too bad for just telekinesis. Of course, the longer he continued to use his powers, the more tired he grew and the harder it became...leading him to only put more effort into each attempt which only spiraled down into a vicious cycle that left him out of strength. If it hadn't been for Lei's insults, Henrik would have stopped to take a breather but he had something to prove to the angel. Humans weren't weak.

"Sorry." Henrik muttered lowly as he sat beside his wife and closed his eyes. "Did anything happen while I was gone?"

"Something about them finding a girl."

Henrik nodded slowly. He hated that they were still recruiting after all this time. Was this really a numbers game? Quantity over quality? He sighed out, too tired to discuss it. Soon he and Iris fell asleep.

DAY: 48 - 4/4 | DATE: November 8th, 2013 [Friday] | LOCATION: Underground Tunnels ==> Obsidian Palace in Hell

The little succubus whore seemed to have an issue with how he handled digging into the wall. Though, as she spoke, it was all in one ear and out the other. He just continued to work at breaking through and doing whatever they wanted of him. Sam wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible so that he wouldn't have to look at those demons any more. As he continued to work, Abaddon berated him for choosing to use a sword to break through a wall. When he finished getting in a couple of derisive words, the angel suggested to turn his weapon into a large hammer. It was much more effective in smashing through rocks than the edge of a sword.

After getting through a good amount of work, as well as making a few more contained explosions, Chicken Wings came back bring him back to the palace. Sam wiped the sweat from his brow before being surrounded by black mist. When the mist lifted, he was back in his room. Tired from the work he did, he collapsed onto his bed. He just lay there, staring up at the ceiling as he thought about what they wanted to accomplish by digging tunnels.

"Any ideas on that?"

"No, I don't have any ideas why they'd need to dig tunnels. To be honest, I don't care either. More importantly, it seems I'm going to have to teach you more about the weapon you have in your possession. When I can get time to train you, that will have to be a top priority." The Angel of Destruction started to go on a rant that Sam started to tune in and out of. It was just words that didn't concern him in the slightest. He just kept going and going and going, just like the Energizer bunny. The irritated man liked the days when Abaddon didn't talk to him that much. It was so much more peaceful then. Now it was like he wouldn't ever shut the fuck up. "You weren't even paying attention, were you?"

"Nope."

"Hopeless." After that brief exchange of words, Sam fell asleep in his oddly cozy bed.

Sal was back in the dream world once more to begin his training here. He wondered how much progress he was making along with it and seeing as he had just fought Brandon he figured he'd be able to skip out this night. Oh well, guess you just gotta roll with what you're dealt sometimes. Wondering what he'd be doing this time, he saw a black orb with a hilt protruding out of it appear in front of him. Sal then, obviously, grabbed the hilt to see that it was his familiar baselard. Oh? He figured he was done with sword training, but apparently not. He looked over to see a short sword type spawn in.

Sal was not really taking this opponent seriously at all, truth be told. Why? Well it was simply because he had already taken this thing on a myriad of times before and saw no real reason why one on one against an average enemy should be any different than any other time he's fought this thing, if not easier. So he still took his stance and ran towards the short sword type to begin the assault this time on his own. The short sword then decided to rush towards Sal as well, as if to meet his challenge.

The fight was essentially blades clashing and **** getting slashed. The short sword, was admittedly, faster than Sal was and so he was kind of unable to get the first strike off on it, but nevertheless he was able to simply block the strike regardless. Sal then pulled his blade away from the short sword and started attacking relentlessly. The short sword couldn't do much but block against the quick onslaught of knife slashes and soon fell prey to the fury of Sal's baselard. After clashing blades with the thing a number of times Sal had finally beat back its guard and cut into the short sword type until it died.
Having defeated the short sword type, Sal saw that the creature had left behind a shadow orb again. Knowing what to do with this thing, Sal simply stabbed the orb with his baselard and watched as it sank in. Once that was done with, the hilt popped out and out came Sal's short sword. Well this was certainly much faster than last time. Sal did indeed wonder what exactly was going on here but didn't dwell on it too long. Next came the fight against and new type, the really tough one. A knight type spawned in across from Sal and pointed its blade arm at him. He wondered if this thing had some sort of memory or something, but decided not to dwell on that.

The fight started with slow advances towards each other and each opponent was cautious about the other. Sal had only one the first fight through a cheap tactic and he was using his longsword in the second fight. So he didn't really know what to do in this scenario other than fight with more than what this thing has. Sal blocked the knight's swing against him and pushed the blade back. The two then started to move in circles, keeping their distance from each other, until Sal decided to go in for an attack of his own.

The knight used its buckler to deflect the attack that Sal sent at it and was pushed back. Trying not to get skewered by the knight type, Sal let himself fall down on the ground before continuing with fighting the thing so it missed as it tried to totally lop his head off. Sal then picked himself back up, and then went in to strike again. Only this time, he stopped mid-swing and then continued the attack from a different side. The knight was slightly surprised by this but was still able to block with his own blade. It was at this moment that Sal punched the knight in the face, causing it to stumble, and then proceeded to hack away at it. After all was said and done, the knight type was slain.
There was a large black orb that appeared before him again and Sal obviously had to do the same twice here. He stuck the short sword into the orb and as it sunk he wondered what was actually going on here. He grabbed the hilt as it popped out and brandished his long sword. He already had the long sword and it wasn't even round three...well it was now, but it was still off. He couldn't really think of anything else that he would need for the sword unless it was just general practice but he stopped thinking about it when his two new foes spawned in. A beast type and two shadow types. Both with sun auras. Interesting.

Sal had fought these things before, easily, and with fists. And swords were not fists. Granted they were easier to use, but they were not fists. So Sal got ready for whatever this trio of sun aura enemies could throw at him, and was quite ready for it. The enemies then decided to do what they always did and charge him. Well that was not interesting at all. Granted the shadows never seemed more terrifyingly fast then now but he wasn't going to let that stop him from totally cleaving them in half.

As the two shadows started to run circle around Sal, literally, He just stood there observing. The beast came in to deliver quite the deadly blow. Sal simply dodged it and slashed off its arm since, really it was right there. The beast tried to attack him with the second arm but that also got sliced off. Not really sure what to do next, the beast tried to headbutt Sal, but he just chopped the beast's head off. Sal then cut the two shadows that tried to get the jump up on him. With that the round was over.
Well ****. This longsword made killing everything stupidly easy. He was feeling quite confident with his skills and was wondering what else would fall to his blade. Though, Sal was still curious as to what the overall goal to this challenge was. It didn't seem like it had any real goal to it, but his thoughts were cut short of the spawning in of new enemies. It was another beast and a shambler this time. Sal twirled his blade as the enemies predictably got their sun auras up.

The round started as predictably as one expect it to. The shambler started firing off its super ****ing fast tentacle spikes and the beast was trying to run at him full force to totally kill him. Sal was kind of getting pressured by this shambler. As useful as it was for breaking the tentacle spikes, Sal was not really getting much anywhere with it. The thing attacked just way too fast. Probably faster than the usual sun shambler at that rate.

Now wasn't exactly the best time to be thinking of that though, simply because there was a super fast beast that was trying to beat the everliving **** out of him. As such, Sal stopped breaking the spikes and started dodging instead and cleaved the beast's attacking arm off again. It was slightly comical. Sal then cut the beast in half causing the beast to die and dissipate. Sal then started breaking the spikes with his blade again and then started to charge straight at the shambler. Sal then was able to book it past the shambler until he was close enough to just peg his blade into the shambler, and kill it.
Sal walked over to the where his blade was and picked it up and looked over to see what he was going to have to go and fight next. Apparently there was a reading issue once again, so Sal actually ended up fighting the round three enemy now. Well he assumed that just meant this was going to be easier than the last two rounds. In came three beast types with on wearing a sun aura. Well this certainly didn't seem like it was going to be the biggest challenge ever.

The round started with the three beasts charging at Sal. Two of them were lagging behind since one was simply much faster than the other two. Eventually the beast came close to Sal and Sal was all prepped to just slash this ones arms off as well. But rather than charge him the beast jumped back when it came in punching distance. The other two then came in and tried to punch Sal out instead, which slightly caught him off guard. Sal was able to dodge the attacks easily enough, though.

The sun beast, however, was now charging him and punched at him once more. Sal didn't have enough time to slice its arm off so he simply dodged to the side. The two beasts were now charging him once again, but Sal had enough time this time. So he simply cut their arms off as they punched at him. Being armless, Sal then sliced through them once more and killed the two beasts. There was only beast left, granted it was the sun one, but Sal was able to deal with it easily enough. Sal cut through the beast as it threw a punch at him, and ended the round rather nicely.
Sal was wondering what he was supposed to do now. He had fought every enemy type with a sun aura and the goal was still unclear of this training exercise. That is, until Sal was faced with the new challenger of this round. Something he wasn't entirely sure was coming up. Out of the water ground, a sun orb floated and quickly blackened. The orb slowly morphed into a new type of enemy. Its build was similar to that of a knight type, and it was well armored as well. The only major difference was that its arm seemed to be a rapier rather than a long sword. Oh this was going to be interesting.

The sun sword was the first to make a move that round. The sun sword type started to advance towards Sal at a rather slow pace, and Sal just brought his longsword up ready for whatever this beast was going to throw at him. The sun sword came a little closer and Sal started to step to the side. The sun sword matched him and the two were now walking in circles. Sal was still not sure to expect from this enemy and didn't want to attack first. It was then that the sun sword made its move.

It lunged towards Sal and started to jab at him with a vicious attack. The rapid thrusting attacks were pretty hard to block seeing as the long sword was a) not a blocking instrument and b) stabs were hard to guard against with a blade in any scenario. As such, he did get hit a few times, but decided to retaliate with a slash of his own. The sun sword was able to block the attack and then parried Sal. Sal backed off of the thing and then went in for another attack. The sun sword attempted to parry him again, but Sal was able to punch the thing and knock it off balance before finishing his sword slash.
The sun sword type died and left behind a weird looking orb. It was both black and golden, so Sal wasn't entirely sure what to make of it. Nevertheless, he decided to do what he was always did with a random orb. He stabbed his longsword into it. As he did, the longsword sank in and the orb began to react. All the gold seemed to focus in on one spot until it was no more, and out popped a rather unusual hilt. When Sal grabbed it, he pulled the blade out and saw it was a rapier. How nice of Zachariel to increase his arsenal even more. He flourished the rapier as he saw what was spawning in.

There were four beasts standing across from him. All glowing with the sun aura. Well that was interesting. All four of them then charged at Sal and he wasn't exactly sure how to respond to it. As they made their way to Sal, he quickly dodged each attack and slashed with his new weapon. It was barely able to cut them, though that may just be due to the fact that it was a rapier. So what Sal decided to do was just dodge around the attacks until he was ready to finish them off.

When he finally saw the opening present itself, Sal took full advantage of it. Seeing one punch at him and get slightly off balance from the missed attack, Sal thrust at the beast multiple times until it didn't move anymore and simply dissipated. The other three were not relenting though, and so Sal kept dodging around picking them off as he went along. One kept striking at him, and though he couldn't find an opening to stab at it, he killed it by cutting it enough times. With only two left, he found being able to stab them particularly easy, and killed the rest.
Sal was quite content with his ability to kill things with his newfound sword. In fact, he was content with his newfound sword in general. Sure, it felt different from a longsword and was going to take a bit of adjusting to, but overall, it was a nice weapon of choice to mutilate things. Now that he finally knew what he was supposed to be doing this round, his uneasiness had dissipated and now he was fully ready to go in and kill all these things. He looked over and saw his new competition spawn in. It was simply eight shadow types, granted they all had sun auras.

This fight was going to be quite the interesting one really. He had no idea what to expect from eight shadow types on essentially speed. Four of them immediately bolted past him. Like no warning at all, no attack at all, just rushing past him. So as such, Sal paid them no mind. They were just going to try and inconvenience him later on anyway. The next four charged at him but immediately split off and started circling around him in the usual shadow manner.

Granted it was really annoying to deal with because hot damn, these things were fast. He couldn't entirely keep up with their movements and so when one of them just came straight at him, he didn't really see it coming. Nevertheless, he was able to bring his blade up in time and just whipped it over at the shadow, which was apparently enough to kill it. The next three circling then attacked at once, and then the other four joined in on the action. Sal didn't really care too much and just whipped the rapier around killing each shadow one at a time.
Alright so he was now at the penultimate round as usual. So far this sun sword thing was quite the handy little rapier. Sure being a stabbing weapon was totally a culture shock but he was being acclimatized with it. Sal realized that none of the rounds so far were really too hard to deal with and he wasn't thinking any of the next ones would be. Granted only two shamblers spawned in this time. Albeit they both had ****ing sun auras so this was going to be quite the joy to deal with. Oh well.

The round started off with the shamblers attacking him at their super sun aurad speed, and Sal had no other real option other than to just dodge the attacks. Sure he could slash at the tentacle spikes like he always did. But it was a bit harder to deal with when this weapon more or less cut and whipped things rather than sliced through them. He had to break through this regardless and was getting ready to do so, and so he just ****ing yolo charged at them.

Sal started dodging back and forth from the essentially machine gun fire of tentacle spikes. It was not a good time at all. He was getting slightly cut up and could feel his speed decreasing, but he was not deterred at all. He eventually got in the face of the shambler foe and stabbed through it easily before it was able to become any larger a problem. Only other problem was, there was a second one. He started avoiding the attacks and then figured there was no way he could get himself out of this through movement. And so he just threw his rapier at the shambler and killed the enemy.
Well here it was. The final round. It was quite the oddly paced road because quite frankly a two hour hiatus is pretty big. Oh well. Sal started to walk over to the rapier and picked it up. The sun sword trial was coming to an end, and Sal was wondering what was going to be the final round. He looked over to see his final wave of enemies spawning in. It was a knife type, a short sword type, a longsword type and a sun sword type. Only everything other than the sun sword had a sun aura around it. Well that was going to be troublesome.

The round started with all of the bladed enemies walking towards Sal at a slow pace. Sal didn't entirely know what to do against the enemies and just waited around. Then the three sun blades ran straight at him at an, obviously, much faster rate than usual. Sal was forced to take a defensive stance with his blade as the enemies approached him, and started striking at him. Once they started slashing at him, Sal was able to parry the knife type and was able to easily stab through it. Next was the short sword type that fell just as easily. The only one left was the knight type, which Sal just threw the rapier through its face and killed it.

Sal walked over and picked up his rapier when he noticed the sun sword charging him. Sal rolled out of the way of the lunge. He was able to to go over and pick up his rapier this time and deflected the next stab from the sun sword. Sal then proceeded to ****ing stab at the thing only for it to ****ing block his attack. The two kept attacking back and forth, parrying and stabbing each other, until Sal was able to get a good riposte off and totally killed the ****ing sun sword.
Sal awoke from the dream training once more feeling a tad more tired than usual. Sure dream training was always tiring stuff, but Sal was also a bit sore from the whole sparring match against Brandon that he had had. Getting out of bed he stretched a bit and then walked around wondering what they were going to do. They seemed to not have a clear leader, and other than recruiting they had no real idea as to what they were going to be doing here. Hopefully Lauren would come over to their side and even more hopefully the could find more angels here before having to leave Australia. Thing were not looking for the underdogs, but now that he thought about it, it was their most crucial moment of being. Sure it seemed odd to think that it was a good thing that Hana was no longer here, but the majority of the group seemed to think of her as a leader. With her not here anymore, and no way of knowing where she is, it was at this moment that the group would prove if they actually had the ability to overcome this time.
Oh well. Sal walked out of the room and decided to go downstairs to eat breakfast. As he got his seven plates of food he started to down them and noticed that his opponent from last night was over there as well. Brandon seemed a bit tired, but was eating none the less. He looked over to the boy and gave him a wave. The boy waved back before going back to eating. After the both of them finished their meals they walked over to the lobby waiting for everybody else, with Richard also sleeping in the chair as per his usual. That man and sleeping, it was certainly something else.

Saturday, November 9th, 2013 | Day 49 : 1/4 | Music | Location: Birdsville, Australia| ooc:

• Adam opened his eyes drowsily and found himself sitting in a chair in a really small room with brick walls. In front of him was a wooden table with two glasses, a glass of water and a glass of wine, and a bowl of assorted fruits. Adam rolled his eyes and opened his mouth to speak and realized he was tied up to the chair. He shifted quickly and started to freak out about it, then he noticed another object on the table, a handwritten note. He leaned in as close as he could to be able to read it.
"Hello Kiddo, Today is your birthday? Too bad. Frankly, I could easily just let you sleep... but I do not think you deserve it yet. I will not show up to guide you along the way, this will all be on your own. We have done a lot of... character building. Since that seems to be failing at the moment, we might as well attempt power training. There will be a total of Thirteen trials. Why thirteen you are probably asking yourself. Well, I originally liked using the number twelve, but there are powers you haven't even tapped into yet that take no time at all. It adds up to thirteen. I will not do them all at once, but I am not going make it fun for you.
This trial is rather simple. Get out of the chair, and then just eat or drink something. You can only choose 2 fruits, and only one of the drinks. Now, there is no right or wrong answer to them, but whatever you choose now will affect how the rest of this goes. Good luck."
“Great.” Adam whispered to himself as he shifted his arms a bit. The ropes weren’t loose enough for him to just slip out, so he tried to think of another way to go about this. He knew he had Nahkosh on his neck, he could lower his neck down and slice it from there, or he could just use the mist and slip out. For the sake of “power training” he decided to go with the latter. When he was out, he turned to look at the chair wrapped in loose rope.
Adam picked up the two glasses and examined each, he wanted to know if one of them was poisoned or something. Then he remembered the note on the table and examined the two a little more. He was tempted to drink the wine, but after staring at it for a few more minutes he decided to just go with the water. After he drank it, the glass of wine disappeared. Adam stared at where the glasses were for a minute, before he just shrugged it off.
He looked over at the bowl of fruit and was impressed by the assortment. He was disappointed there weren’t any apples, but that was probably on purpose. He stared at the lemon for a little while, but threw it away from him as far as he could. On a whim, he decided to grab the strawberry in the bowl, and bit into it.

• As soon as he bit into the strawberry, he felt his body weaken momentarily and he collapsed back onto the chair, grabbing onto it so he wouldn’t fall off. After a few moments the room seemed to darken and change shape, shaping until everything went completely pitch black.

Adam breathed heavily as his weak disposition disappeared and not long after a spark occurred in front of him, which made him a bit jumpy. He watched as the spark formed into a lit candle on a small candlestand. He rolled his eyes at the cheesiness and picked up the candle, “Seems familiar enough.”

The wax dripped rapidly to his hands and he winced in pain dropping the candle. He caught it just in time before it hit the ground but almost blew it out in the process. When he caught it, he noticed another note on the ground. He picked it up to get a better look at it.
"...is this a face? Am I searching for notes? What is this, Slender?"
Adam examined it a little more and flipped over the note.
Adam raised an eyebrow at the message before he felt something grab his shoulder and whisper something he couldn't understand into his ear. He quickly unhooked Nahkosh and pointed in the direction... whatever had grabbed him should have been. It was no longer there, but he wasn't sure if it was still close by. He walked a few more steps to see if it was there, and he ran into another candlestick on a candlestand.
Figuring it'd be helpful to have more light, he lit the other candle and then looked at the note to see what it had meant and his eyes widened a bit.
"Map. It is a map." he whispered to himself as everything suddenly clicked. He walked a few steps towards where the x should have been located at the bottom and he found himself at another candle and candlestand. He lit it up too and the room got a little bit brighter.
After staring at it, he finally figured things out about the map. The shaded spaces were the entrances to rooms, and the arrows pointed to pictures of the doors. Next to the walls were symbols he knew meant two and three. After a few minutes he finally blurted out, "Are those Cantonese symbols?"
He walked towards where the door marked with the two should have been, and went to open it, but the handle was gone. He looked back to see the dot was in front of the door and he chuckled lightly, "Why are you giving me puzzle games? I'm not sure that this is helping."
He walked back over to the candlestand on the table and placed the candle there. Everything in the room immediately brightened up to a normal lighting. When he turned around, the two doors started glowing and doorknobs appeared for both.
Adam cautiously walked over to the door marked number two, and decided to just go right in.

• Adam opened the door to a bright field. He shielded his eyes because it was so much brighter than the room had been, he almost wanted to hiss as a joke like he was a vampire or something. When he moved his hands down, he saw two girls pushing at each other and screaming. The door disappeared behind him and he sighed in annoyance.
Adam stared slightly confused and took a few steps forward and was able to hear the conversation a bit more clearly. It was almost like a fight he had watched between two girls in his school fighting over a guy in his year. He watched it all play out and end with the two girls hugging, despite having repetitively calling each other whores not even two minutes before.
These two girls however, in the field, were completely different. The fighting seemed to get violent and did not seem to be resolving itself at all. Adam watched a few minutes longer before he ran up to them yelling, "Hey, calm down!"
The two continued to pull at each other's hair and claw at each other until Adam pulled the two apart and kept them away from each other, "What is going on here?"
"She's a filthy liar."
"I am not, she just doesn't like my response."
"YOU TOOK IT FROM ME."
"NO I DIDN'T."
"Shh." He said to the two repetitively until they finally calmed down for enough, "What happened? Explain calmly."
"She took my bracelet and sold it for money."
"I did not. Her boyfriend took it, sold it for money, and blamed it on me."
"He wouldn't do that to me."
Adam looked at the girl who had owned the bracelet and spoke, "Did you talk to him yet?"
"No."
"So you are going to yell at her even though you didn't go and talk to him first?"
"HE WOULDN'T DO THAT HE WOULDN'T LIE. SHE JUST WANTS THE MONEY. I TRUSTED HER."
Adam grabbed her shoulders and she looked like the was ready to run rabid. He looked her directly into her eyes, which were brown, and he felt like his voice traveled through more than just his voice, "You need to calm down and talk to your boyfriend."
The girl quickly calmed down under his gaze until she nodded and spoke almost at a whisper, "Okay. I will."
"Will you?"
"I will."
The girl quickly ran off down the field and the other girl smiled at him with a relief and spoke, "Thank you so much."
"And you should compensate by giving her that money back."
The girl looked at him wide-eyed and spoke, "H-how did you know?"
"I didn't until just now."
The girl looked away in guilt and spoke, "I need the money..."
"So you resorted to stealing from your friend?"
"...some things you have to do things you don't like to survive."
"Tell her the truth while you still can. She won't forgive you the longer you go."
The girl thought about it for a moment before she grabbed his hand and spoke, "Thank you sir." and she ran off in the direction the other girl had run down the field.
The door appeared again and Adam entered it back into the room, the door disappeared and he walked over to door number 3.

• The first thing he felt when he stepped into the room was the free fall. He quickly looked around to see if there was anything to grab onto quickly and noticed a rope. He grabbed onto it and went down extremely fast. When he got a good grip he was suffering so much rope burn it wasn't even funny.
He looked down and saw he was not even 200 feet from impact, which made him shiver slightly. He slid down the rest of the rope and cautiously stepped onto the ground. And immediately after he regretted that decision.
Within a few seconds, he felt a bunch of arms grab at his legs and pull him down, he pulled Nahkosh off of his necklace and swung at the hands with a loose grip to avoid hurting his palms anymore. The pain was just numbness at this point.
As the hands grabbed at his knees he closed his eyes and focused on getting out of there, he felt his body move not too far away and realized he was solid again nearby. He watched as a creature with many arms pulled itself out from the ground and he stared at it, "Well shit."
He had Nahkosh turn into a throwing axe, and with the mist he helped to have it aim straight for the creatures head. It hit and stuck, and Adam quickly ran towards it and pulled the axe out of it's head. The creature grabbed at his legs again and pulled him down and growled at him.
As the creature pulled him more towards it, it opened up his mouth in a clear attempt to eat him. Adam looked over at Nahkosh and had it turn back into a sword. Right as he was about to enter it's mouth, he stabbed at the roof of it and cut in a circular motion.
The creature let out an agonizing cry as it tried to shut it's mouth on him, but he refused to let it. When he finished cutting out a circle in it's mouth, it started bleeding heavily and Adam wanted to gag at how terrible it smelled. He quickly ran out as fast as he could and it tried to attack him again.
He quickly ran and like when he jumped from rooftop to rooftop, he landed on the creature's head and stabbed into it. When the creature collapsed dead, Adam backed away and had Nahkosh turn back into the necklace. Then he whispered, "That was bloodier than it needed to be."
This time, two doors appeared, and in curiosity, he went through the door that he knew didn't lead back to the room. As he walked further into the dark, unfamiliar room, he fell into a deep sleep.

Adam woke up feeling like he just slept for way too long. He sat up sluggishly and climbed out of bed and got himself ready for the day and grabbed his bag and went downstairs. When he got there, he saw the calender and whispered, "You had me asleep for over 24 hours? Is that even possible?"
You still needed to catch up on that sleep. I am glad you took the second door. It gave you a pretty good amount of time to sleep. A little less than 24 hours actually.
Adam's eyes narrowed at the date and he walked over to where the breakfast was being served, "Guess I'll just randomly say I'm 19 since I don't remember my birthday."
Oh boohoo kiddo. Wanna know something about birthdays? They become less and less of a big deal the older you get.
Adam got himself a lot more food than he normally ate, and downed it relatively quick. Then he went into the lobby and saw the trio who was usually up and moving at this point, "Guys, no one came to check to see if I was alive, clearly. I just slept for over twenty-four hours." He scratched the back of his head, clearly looking a lot more cheerful than he usually did. And it had nothing to do with the subject he was about to bring up, he was just in a good mood "I slept through my birthday, actually. Did I miss anything important yesterday?"
After a moment, something clicked and Adam looked over at Sal and spoke, "Oh. Clearly I did. Um, when did you back? How did you find us? ...how did you find us when we aren't anywhere near the coast."

Again she had woken up early in the morning, again she was in the dining room eating breakfast. Again she had the notebook out, and was doing her daily writing prompt exercise. This time, Elsie Malone hoped she would not be delayed going to Sydney. She was going to wait until the sun would rise up enough to not shine directly in her eyes. She could have gone earlier that morning, but she didn't want the risk of a kangaroo jumping out in the middle of the road when it was dark, or any other wild exotic animal. She had left a note for Nasir, letting him know that she was planning to head out that morning a bit later and that he could either go with her to Sydney or he could go back to his home. The choice was up to him.

Elsie had a have eaten bagel dangling out of her mouth, furiously writing again. Today's writing prompt challenge was "What would happen if the Princess kissed the frog and it turned into something other than a Prince?"

Elsie had this one in the bag. She was whipping up a really interesting story, something she would thing about going back and embellishing and editing when she got back to Sydney. Finally, something that might become book material. Her editor was getting really impatient with her by now. In the back of her head, Elsie heard a voice speaking to someone.

"I slept through my birthday, actually. Did I miss anything important yesterday?"

The distracted girl took the bagel out of her mouth and said, "Happy Belated Birthday." That happened to her sometimes. No one would actually be talking to her, but she would pick up on bits of conversation happening around her and respond to it without second thought. It was as if she was commentating on life around her, but she wouldn't actually be paying attention to what was happening. She was still writing away, muttering to herself when she would mess up and scratch out the word or error with her pen before continuing on. She absentmindedly took another bite of her breakfast before setting it on the plate, using her other hand to scrawl out what was playing out in her mind.

Anna sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes before stretching out and yawning. The brunette girl blinked several time as she pushed the covers off herself and looked towards the bed of her brother to find he was no longer in it. Anna tilted her head narrowed her eyes to make sure her mind wasn't playing tricks on her. Where was he? Anna hopped out of bed and looked around to the room, the only other person with her being Cal. She left the room in order to look for her brother but did not have to go very far to find him.

Soren darted past the girl without any warning startling Anna. She was about to run after him but her brother immediately turned and sprinted back towards her. Drops of sweat covered his brow as if he had been doing this for some time. "What are you doing?"

"Running."

Anna glared at her brother for giving such a stupid answer. She could see that. He must have noticed it too as Soren added in, "I want to be strong." She blinked at him. He had been saying for some time now that they should leave but he never did anything about it other than give attitude to the adults. Once more Soren took off, running to the ends of the hall and back, Anna's eyes following her brother as he did this.

"What got into you?" She asked as Soren once again ran by her.

On the return trip Soren quickly answered, "I'm tired."

Anna waited for him to come her way again before responding. "Then rest."

"Tired of being here." Soren came to a stop and stared at his sister. "I know running around won't do much but I can't just sit around and do nothing. I know I'll have to do more. I have to."

Anna frowned at her brother's ambition. She had to worry for him as no one else would. He didn't care if he got hurt but she did. Maybe Cal did too. Anna grabbed her brother by the wrist and dragged him back into the room before he could argue with her. She didn't like this place any more than he did but the way he was going about things would only make things worse. Maybe it was a boy thing or maybe..."Are you trying to impress her?"

"What? N-"

"Calllll." Anna called out. "Soren has something to say to you." If Anna couldn't get him to settle down then maybe Cal could. It was for his own good anyways.

There were no dreams this time, but then again Alistair could hardly called what happened a dream. For him that sheer moment was reality and even know he wondered if this mere moment of calm was all but a dream for him. His sleep was a peaceful one that he enjoyed thoroughly despite where he was. Fatigued from the last day, Alistair had found himself sleeping on a chair in the nephilim's room.

A loud cheerful voice had suddenly broken his slumber and lazily he opened his eyes and glanced over at Anna dragging over her sweaty brother while calling for Cal. He smiled softly as he watched what he considered a cute scene and glanced over at Cal's bed "Yo, you've been getting quite popular lately Cally" Alistair said cheerfully before turning his attention back to Anna and Soren with a pleasant smile "and good morning to you" Alistair mostly speaking to Anna.

He noticed the baby he had been holding before was now gone and he immediately began to raise an eyebrow as he scanned around the area before noticing the child. The white haired toddler was waddling around with his tiny feet trying his best not to fall to the ground, keeping his small arms out for balance. Despite the smile on Caius' face there were bandages wrapped around the top of his head, signalling only one thing...that Regulus had dealt with the child.

Cal had been enjoying her sleep, dreaming about a swim in the Phlegethon, when she heard her name being called. "Calllll." She stirred at the sound and groaned. Cal was beginning to greatly dislike this whole, 'being woken up by others,' thing. "Soren has something to say to you." Anna called out.

She rubbed her eyes and blinked a few times, adjusting to the lighting. Cal yawned and sat up bed, looking around the room groggily. "Yo, you've been getting quite popular lately Cally." Alistair said cheerfully before turning his attention to the twins with a pleasant smile, "And good morning to you," he said, mostly speaking to Anna.

Cal hadn't realized Azrael stayed the whole night. When she went to bed, she had expected him to leave after. He must really like Caius. The little baby was attempting to walk and she swung her legs out of bed and stretched as she rose to her feet. "Morning Azrael," she greeted. Her red eyes shifted to Anna and she looked at the other girl in confusion. "What does Soren have to tell me?" she asked. Cal knelt down on the floor and held her hands out for the baby. He was pretty like that, trying to walk on his own. She wondered if she looked like that too, not very long ago. "Hi there Caius."

LOCATION Hotel Birdsville, Australia

Kai was really sick of wearing dirty clothes. It was getting the better of him, but he was lacking Australian currency [ or any form of currency ] to go out and buy some new ones. Not everything in his backpack had been secured after the shipwreck and his wallet was lost to the sea. He put some pressure on his ankle, pleased to discover it didn't hurt quite so much anymore. He rocked back and forth, trying to get a feel for how much weight he could put on it. His backpack hung from his shoulder and he limped his way out of the bedroom.

Elevator was taken down to the main floor once more and he came into the lobby to see Sal was back. He was standing with Brandon and Richard -- technically, Richard was sitting ... asleep -- along with Adam and that girl from yesterday, Elsie. Kai forced a smile on his face and shoved one of his hands into his pocket as he strode over to them. Happy belated birthday, he managed to catch Elsie say as he made his way over to them all. Kai rested his free hand on Adam's shoulder and nodded at him. He looked up to Sal and nodded as well, relieved to have the Portuguese man back. It was one less thing to worry about. This meant they had all finally regrouped -- sort of. Hana was still missing and Samuel had disappeared before everyone woke up, but Kai got the feeling they wouldn't be finding him any time soon.

This meant it would probably be time for them to leave Australia, to go off on their next adventure only God knew where. That was fine by him. He was ready to get off of this continent and never come back. It would have been a great place to visit had the circumstances been different. He was also more than a little surprised to see everyone else hanging out with Elsie. He didn't want to get his hopes up, but he kind of wished she might be like the rest of them. They never actually got a chance to talk about writing yesterday and he really had never met too many other people that liked to do so.

His hand fumbled through his pocket for his pen when he stumbled forward, gripping Adam's shoulder for support. He looked up at everyone else, reading the confusion on their face, and then glanced around the room. It wasn't just him. Everyone seemed to have experienced it. The ground rumbled once. Furniture shook and people tripped. He steadied himself before standing up straight again and looking at the rest of his circle. There was another rumble and the loud ear splitting sound of the earth splitting. He gave them a look and then his reddish - brown eyes moved past Brandon's shoulder to see a large crack in the floor heading their way. Kai dropped his hand from Adam's shoulder and backed away.

Elsie's wrist was getting quite tired from writing and thus she had to stop writing whatever was flooding through that brain of hers. She sighed out and shook her hand out, looking around to see who all had come down for breakfast. There were some unfamiliar faces close by, and also one familiar face... Kai. Elsie smiled and waved to him, but before she could say anything, the ground shook. "Huh?" Elsie glanced around to make sure it wasn't just her who felt that. Then suddenly, everything began to shake violently, and Elsie knew what this meant. There was an earthquake. And on top of that, the ground was splitting and heading towards them. 'This ain't normal...' But what was in this crazy world?

Elsie snatched her backpack and darted out of the way, losing her balance for a minute and fell to the floor. She forced herself up before she was trampled by the frightened people and quickly glanced around. She spotted a door that lead to the outside, the place where they needed to go. She got herself up and went over to Kai, putting a hand on his shoulder as she passed him. "Exit's that way! Get moving!" Elsie made it to the door and pushed it open, looking back to make sure the others that were around her earlier were moving. "Come on! Come on! MOVE!" Elsie stood in the door frame, avoiding the bits and pieces of ceiling that were starting to fall. "HURRY!"

Logan was just making his way off the elevator when he felt the ground shake. The sudden tempt caused him to lose his footing and fall onto one knee. An earthquake?! if the ground shaking wasn't enough, seeing the pieces if the ceiling fall was more then enough reason for him to get out of the building now.

In a hurried pace he made his way into the lobby where things were just as chaotic. People were running around screaming as they tried to head towards the exit. Amidst the chaos, Logan managed to spot Kai and some of the others at a nearby exit. Since he didn't want to be crushed the fall debris, he ran over towards the exit and out the door.

Sal was standing there and saw that Adam had come down from his room. Apparently he had been asleep all day yesterday, and it was also his birthday. Oh, well that was neet. Sal was wondering what to do about that sort of a thing, and tried to think back to when his own birthday. Truthfully, he had no idea when it was. Probably because someone who's typing these posts were a tad on the lazy side and didn't feel like giving him one. Oh well, it wasn't exactly important anyway. Adam then asked if he had missed anything important yesterday. Sal stood there for a second looking at Adam, who clearly wasn't alright. He then realized that Sal had come back into existence of this group and was wondering about that.
Before Sal could answer that question, some random blonde haired girl jumped in and said happy belated birthday. Well that was nice of her to do. The Kai came downstairs, and seemed to be startled by something. What exactly? Well the floor rumbling of course. And probably the crack in the ground...That wasn't exactly normal was it...Sal then saw the blonde haired girl and Logan (who came out of ****ing nowhere) run straight for the exit. Sal decided to follow close behind, with Brandon and Richard following him.

'I find that hard to believe.' Even after having been rudely awakened by Lei, the angel still would not cease speaking. After having killed whatever consciousness remained of Lei's last vessel, named Henry, the angel had been spent his time speaking to Henrik rather than trying to kill him. A history lesson hardly seemed like the kind of "understanding" Lei was trying to promote but he spoke of little else. Apparently, as the angel of vengeance, Lei had spent a great deal of time killing nephilim. The most famous example being...

'Goliath was not twenty feet tall. He was only about seven feet tall. Or two hundred and thirteen centimeters if you prefer that. What? Did you think a human could have killed him? And no, I did not use a slingshot. I love blunt trauma as much as the next-'

'Would you shut up?'

'...His daddy wasn't so happy afterwards. In retrospect, mounting the brute's head on a pike might have been the breaking point.'

'And I wonder why you're Fallen...' Henrik and Iris arrived at the lobby and spotted the others. Just then, everyone seemed to lose their balance. Henrik caught Iris before she could fall over and raised an eyebrow, having not even broken his stride until he had to stop to keep his wife from falling. There was an earthquake, he felt it, but nothing felt out of the ordinary for him. A little ground shaking was hardly something that surprised him. Almost as if he expected it. Henrik refrained from speaking to Lei about it. Araquiel's name was proof enough why it didn't bother him. Plus, he wasn't in the mood to continue their argument. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah..."

Now that people were running out towards the exit, Henrik lost track of the others but it was obvious that they too needed to get out in case the building collapsed. So Henrik pushed his way through the crowd with Iris in tow as they left.

Soren said nothing to Alice, doing his best to ignore the man as Anna continued to drag him towards Cal who was now giving attention to the baby. Looking at the child he imagined that he had begun to walk around the same time Caius started to. Now that he thought about it, Soren had grown since last night. At least another inch. At this rate he felt like he would end up hitting his head against the ceilings in a matter of days. He was drawn away from his thoughts as Anna yanked on his arm once more. He was too tired to resist and knew his sister's persistence would win out anyways.

"Tell her."

"Hi Cal. Sorry again." Soren muttered, looking away from the blonde in embarrassment. "I don't have anything to say." Rather than bicker with Soren, Anna pinched him on the arm to get him to talk. The boy narrowed his eyes at his sister and pried himself free from her grasp before rubbing his arm though it didn't really hurt. Since he figured his sister would not let it go until he said something or would continue to embarrass him in front of Cal, Soren spoke once more. "Do you want to go out?"Anna giggled at this. "I-I mean...explore...we didn't really get a chance yesterday..."

Elsie saw that her breakfast group had left the building, all accept one. The one said that said that he slept through his birthday. There was a big freaking crack snaking its way towards him as if it might swallow him up if he didn't move. Biting her lower lip, Elsie made a last minute choice and dashed away from the safety of the door frame and back towards danger. She grabbed the guy by the arm and yanked him away. "Move!" Elsie dragged Adam towards the exit, getting him away from the floor that was splitting open before their eyes. She pushed Adam out of the door and to the outside before she moved out next to him and looked back. What in the world was happening...?

The Earth continues to shake. The split in the floor stretches and separates the hotel in half. It seems to snake it's way through the building and out to the country side. The rumbling and shaking continues. A couple stands out on a porch looking terrified. When the crack makes its way to them one falls into the endless pit.

"Okay, I'm adding that to my list of the weirdest things happening around the world! First was the airplane crash with that 'He riseeees' message, an earthquake, another airplane crash, freak electric storms, people going nuts and killing everyone and everyone thought they were zombies, and then-" Elsie had to stop to take in a breath and then realized that she was rambling for really no reason. "S-Sorry," she said to others around her, trying to keep herself calm despite what had happened. Panicking wasn't exactly going to help in a situation like this; she had to be level headed. "Are you guys okay?" Elsie's body was shaking, looking back at the building. It had literally split in half as if two invisible hands dug into the hotel roof and tore it like a loaf of bread. Good thing she had packed everything in her jeep before she went for breakfast-

'Ah, nuts!' It was then she realized that she failed to grab her writing prompt journal. She wasn't going to go back to find it, even if it meant that she just lost some great ideas for future stories to right. What was she thinking?! This wasn't the time to be dwelling on stupid things like that! She was almost killed! Not only her, but others that she was having breakfast with just moments ago. She sighed out, rubbing her shoulders to try to comfort herself and calm the unsettling feeling that was trying to take over inside of her. "I hope no one was seriously hurt..."

Alistair watched on as Soren began to speak and upon hearing what he said to Cal the smile on his face grew. With that he let out a low whistle and let out a small chuckle before turning his attention to Cal. "How cute, Soren is asking you on a date around the castle, you should accept Cally dear" Alistair said happily. His little Cally was growing up and it made him oh so proud that he could wipe a tear from his face. Though he would have preferred somebody else, Soren would do.

He leaned against the chair and crossed his arms as looked at the children "You've guys have been cutting lessons...though I will allow it for now... just make sure you enjoy yourselves" Alistair said happily. At first the job of teaching the kids was an awkward one, but it was a job he had gotten used to quite easily and he actually enjoyed it a great deal.

There were things that he had to do, but as usual he had no idea where to start. Caius who had been excited upon seeing Cal had tried to rush forward with his tiny feet, but only ended up falling forward into the arms of Cal and giggled happily as he held on to the girl. Watching this Alistair began to wonder things about Regulus. Just what caused such a monstrous curiosity to form like that? when he really thought about it the past of Regulus Astar was unknown even to the public's eyes. Just what happened in his life?

When the mist cleared, Danel was standing in Harbonah's room still holding Alice. He gave her a wink before setting the girl down and waving to Xathanael. Danel motioned to a chair beside the bed and for Alice to have a seat. "Make yourself comfortable this will be your home for awhile." He clicked his tongue to the roof of his mouth and sighed and snapped his fingers. The red head gasped for air and her expression turned wild as her blue - eyed gaze shifted between Alice and himself.

"Who is she? She's not one of us."

He shook his head. "Great observation. She is in fact human. The woman is Ahriman's wife. This one here was going to keep her from playing the game, and we want no pawns left untouched." Danel slid his hands into his back pockets and stretched his wings.

"So you're just going to leave her trapped in here with me? That hardly seems fair." She lifted her head off the pillows and winced in pain as the mist around her wrists burned at her skin.

"Oh come on Xath, I thought you could use some company. I wouldn't want you to get bored. And besides," he ran his thumb against Alice's cheek, "she seems like she would make excellent company for you." He winked before a glass came flying past his head, shattering against the wall in front of him.

"What the hell is going on?"

Danel turned at the sound of Lu's voice and smiled with his arms wide open. "Lu, perfect timing. I have some news to share with you." He wrapped one arm around her shoulders and turned her in the direction opposite of Alice. The mist coiled up there legs until they were gone.

Caius fell into Cal's arms and started giggling. The baby was super cute like that. She held him close and stroked the top of his head, careful to avoid the bandages. She couldn't help but wonder what happened to him, but deemed it best not to ask at the current moment. "Tell her," Anna goaded her brother. Cal looked up curiously, still wondering what this might be about.

"Hi Cal. Sorry again." he apologized.

"It's fine," she assured him. Calamitosum just wanted to get to the bottom of this. She cocked her head to the side and waited a bit impatiently.

"I don't have anything to say," he finally admitted. Well, then why would Anna say he did? She waited as his twin pinched him in the arm. Cal was starting to get annoyed for having been woken up. She could still be sleeping. This all seemed rather pointless. He started to rub his arm before finally asking, "Do you want to go out?"

She blinked twice. "Excuse me?" Cal went from curious to confused in the fraction of a second.

"I - I mean ... explore ... We didn't really get a chance yesterday ..." Soren corrected. Anna was giggling and Cal looked up to Azrael for help. She was rather surprised by this.

Azrael let out a low whistle and chuckled along with Anna. Now things were becoming even more confusing. "How cute, Soren is asking you on a date around the castle. You should accept, Cally dear."

She turned back to Soren and cleared her throat. "O - oh. Um ... okay. That sounds like fun. I know lots of cool places to explore. I showed some of them to Azrael." Cal looked back to the only adult in the room. She had decided to show him some of the best parts of the palace on his first real exploration.

"You guys have been cutting lessons. Though, I will allow it for now ... Just make sure you enjoy yourselves." he told them. Cal stared at Azrael with an even greater look of confusion. He never ceased to surprise her. She nodded once before turning back to Soren and Anna.

"Just um - just let me get dressed." She rose to her feet, lifting Caius up with her and handing the child back to Azrael. Cal walked over to her dresser and pulled out a long sleeved black dress that stopped at her knees and stood behind her tri - fold divider. When she stepped out from behind it, she gave the others a smile and shoved her hands in the pockets on her dress. "Ready to go." She gave Azrael a wave before heading out of the room and returning her hand to her pocket. They entered the hall in time to see Momma Lu and Danel appear in front of the bedroom door that belonged to someone Danel called Bonnie. "Momma Lu," she called out. Both of the adults turned to face them and her blue eye looked cold as ice. Cal took a hesitant step back, bumping into Soren.

Momma Lu smiled at the three of them and gave Danel a squeeze on the shoulder. He dropped his arm from around her and the woman walked forward, kneeling in front of the children. "Hello there sweeties. Don't you look cute." She gave Cal a pat on the cheek and ruffled Soren's hair. "What are the three of you up to?" she asked.

Cal smiled. "We were gonna play Hide - and - Seek. What are you and Uncle Dan doing?"

Momma Lu rose to her feet and patted Cal on top of her head. "Don't worry about that. We're just taking care of some business. Have fun with your game and remember to stay out of the basement." Cal nodded and Momma Lu went back to Danel's side before they disappeared down the hall and around the corner.
