"Oh my, I'm sorry Miss."
Lauren didn't really acknowledge the man, she wasn't sure if he bumped into her, or if she bumped into him. And she would have kept walking if she didn't notice he had stopped. Lauren stopped Doug from walking and turned towards the man. His clothes were pretty torn up, and they looked like they were still drying off.
Lauren tilted her head and spoke, "Ay mate... were you out in the storm or something? That isn't smart. Unless you had a camera. Then that'd be smart."

Sal looked at himself and realized what an awful mess he must've looked like, once the comment about being out in the storm was said. Man, new clothes sounded more and more appealing each passing second. Oh well, there would be a time for that later. Though he was confused by this woman. Why would being outside in the storm be smart if he had a camera? That hardly seemed like a logical progression of thoughts...and didn't make much sense either. Sal rubbed the back of his head, slightly confused, and said "yeah, I guess you could say I was standing out in the storm." Technically true. If you counted getting on a boat, nearly drowning and getting washed to shore all in the middle of a storm standing out in it then sure, he totally stood out during the storm.

He wondered if the rest of Australia was like this. All broken and waterlogged from that freak, probably dark angel caused, storm that was going on. He was wondering about how all the citizens of the continent were doing to deal with this. He was also wondering where everyone else from the group was. That was a pretty big deal, being split up and all. So he decided to go and ask the most prominent question on his mind. "I'm sorry, but why would standing outside with a camera in the middle of a storm be any more smart than not having a camera while standing outside?" He needed to get this odd confusion sorted out before he thought about anything else.

Lu had been on her way to the Operating Room where she knew Alistair and Regulus were. She always knew where everyone was. Temeluchas lingered outside of the Operating Room right up until she heard the words, "I needed you to deal with the birth of my child. With my situation it would have been impossible for me to do so. The child's growth was abnormal and I needed someone to deal with it for me."

Her ears perked at the sound and her heart skipped a beat. There was some sort of commotion after, but she had tuned the rest of the conversation out. She was just so excited. Lu couldn't remember the last time she had felt such a surge of utter bliss. This was very, very good news to report.

She pressed her hands to the Operating Room door and it flew open. A bright grin was clear on her face and she pointed to Regulus. "You." She licked her lips. "You have a child that is growing at an abnormally fast rate? Where is it?" She wanted that child before any of those pesky Fallen found out about it. "We have a few other Nephilim children here as well. Yours will fit in just fine." Lu twisted the black ring on her finger and the feint pitter patter of small footsteps came from the hall behind her.

Cal stood in the doorway at her side and she stroked the child's hair. "Calamitosum, this is Sariel. Regulus, this is one of the children, Cal."

The girl took a step closer to Lu and wrapped her arms around the Dark Angel's leg. "Momma Lu, Beelzebub is done with Jehoel if you want him. I just went to look like you asked."

Temeluchas curled her fingers into Cal's hair. She nodded her head slowly and the smile on her face grew tenfold. This was making up to be a very good day.

Alistair's attention was immediately sent over to the sudden entrance of Temeluchas. The woman was always such a nosy one so it wasn't surprising that she would barge in, but what was surprising was the sudden grin upon her face, something he saw in extremely rare cases. Of course this was mostly due to the fact that he always annoyed the hell out of her to even get some form of entertainment, but nonetheless something had caught her attention and he realized just what it was soon enough. Finding it quite humorous, Alistair leaned back against his chair and listened without a word.

Like Alistair, Regulus' attention was brought over to Temeluchas, but his attention wasn't so well caught like Alistair's. Despite this however Regulus was intrigued and his mind began to work. The child he was thinking about throwing away seemed to have caught the attention of Temeluchas to a great deal and that just meant that the children, or Nephilim were all too important to this cause. Looking from the mask he stared down at the child trying to pick up any abnormal features. True there was none but he was sure there was something deep down that made the girl unique.

Alistair could only smile when his favourite little student rushed in being the good little girl that she was. She spoke about Beelzebub and Jehol and with that Alistair raised an eyebrow quite intrigued by the sudden mention of the two. Now Temeluchas was in an insanely good mood and the smile on her face was starting to creep him out.

Regulus did his best to piece each and ever piece of news he could find. With the things that Alistair had told him he was lucky in which that he was not confused about the certain scenario. "The child and the child bearer should be in Italy..." Regulus said calmly. Temeluchas wanted to bring the child here and have him join the other kids she held. Whatever task she had, all he knew was she needed a lot of the Nephilim.

There was a good amount of silence after she spoke and her patience was wearing thin. Lu didn't like to be kept waiting. Alistair just seemed to be staring. He was always so useless. At least he was keeping his mouth shut for once. She couldn't deal with him putting her in a bad mood right now. Another child was just what she needed. Perhaps if Alistair had at least done something during his time in Russia she wouldn't be so angry. He didn't kill Ariel. He didn't kill Iris. He didn't even try to create any Nephilim. He was hopeless through and through. Now she had to waste time on Mali by keeping him distracted and slowly poisoning him. Iris was back with her dear precious husband Henrik -- well, she still had his children so that was something --, and now she had to find new sources for Nephilim. This was a start.

"The child and the child bearer should be in Italy." Regulus finally replied. This was interesting. It always circled back to Italy. Lu was beginning to really like Italy. It held so many promising features. Her grin widened and she gave Cal a light pat on top of her head.

"To Italy then." she said smiling. Lu glanced down at the child and gave her small shoulder a squeeze. Calamitosum released her leg and she nodded her head in towards the door. "Go find Danel and tell him to bring Jehoel up here." Cal nodded before taking off down the hall. Her blue eye lifted to Regulus and she motioned for him to come to her. "You will take me to this child." Temeluchas shot Alistair a look. "Try not to touch anything before we get back."

The smile on Temeluchas' face had vanished once she turned her attention to him. It was quite relieving to see the old tempy before him and it just brought him happiness to see that usual scowl on her pretty little face. Continuing to say nothing all Alistair really did was send the angel of torment a mere wink in reply that basically said "I'll try...but I wouldn't hold a single shred of hope."

Regulus nodded as the two were off at Italy in no time. It had been quite the while since he had been in Italy and it felt quite nice to be there. He recalled there was a brothel run by an ignorant idiot, and though such places never really caught his attention, he did wonder what fate befell the idiot who ran the place. Leading Temeluchas to the place where his child resided was not a difficult feat and though it took him a moment they soon enough they reached their destination.

"Here...sorry for the delay" Regulus said standing before an building. "the woman resided in this very building...she is well into the pregnancy so it would be best to hold some caution...for the child's sake" Regulus said glancing up at the building "....Though I figure my words are meaningless as I feel you know what you are doing..." Regulus said. He knew that the woman's life would be forfeit, he held no love for the mother...she was merely a specimen and nothing more.

They came to a stop in front of a building and Lu's eyes ran up and down the exterior wall. She could feel it. The presence was strong within. Even from out here, she could pinpoint the exact location of the unborn child. She locked her fingers together behind her back and looked to her side to see Regulus staring at the building. "Here... Sorry for the delay." he said.

She nodded her head. "Nothing to worry about. We are here now."

"The woman resided in this very building... she is well into the pregnancy, so it would be best to hold some caution..." he paused before adding, "for the child's sake." Lu rolled her eyes. She knew how to be cautious, she just didn't like it. However, if it involved Nephilim children, she would do whatever it took to prevent anything from happening. "Though, I figure my words are meaningless, as I feel you know what you are doing..." He was a smart one -- much better than Alistair. Alistair needed to be shot in the mouth, but that was a task for another time.

Temeluchas put her hand on the doorknob and twisted it to the right. The door swung open effortlessly and she walked inside. "Let's get this underway then, shall we?" She glanced back at Regulus before taking off for the right room. On the way there, she paused to look at him. "If you wish to retain the woman's life, that could be arranged. It matters little to me either way." She started walking again until she came to the appropriate door. When Lu pressed her finger to the wooden surface, it dissolved in front of her and she stepped inside.

There, on the bed, was a very pregnant woman in obvious pain. Like all Nephilim children, the baby was requiring more nutrient then the mortal woman could give. She was rotting away in order to give birth. Lu approached the startled woman and snapped her fingers. Time froze and the girl was kept from screaming or calling out. She pressed the tip of her finger to the woman's forehead and she was immediately put to sleep. Temeluchas looked back to Regulus. "It is easier this way. This sleep is controlled by the mist and she won't wake up again until I take it off of her. She will either like in this state after the baby has been removed, or I will awaken her from her slumber after the birthing, should you decide you want her to live."

Lu wrapped a hand around the frail woman's boney wrist and snatched Regulus's arm with her free hand. Mist surrounded them before the three were engulfed in blackness.

Seeing the woman before his very eyes was truly something. Sure he had expected that the woman's body would not be able to deal with such a fast growing child, but it was still remarkable to see the woman that he left not too long ago now with the child that was supposed to carry his blood. With the mere condition of the woman it seemed that maybe his plans would have been foiled had time not been forgiving and he waited even longer.

Choosing a strong willed woman looked to be the best choice, but a strong will could only go so far. Temeluchas had no need for her other than getting the child out so that merely meant that the woman was worthless, like he predicted. "Once the child is out there is no need for the woman..." Regulus said calmly before the mist had taken them away back towards the operating room.

It was quite the short time but soon enough the all too familiar mist began to form and his two bffs were back from their trip to Italy. Looking over at the pregnant woman reminded him of that one time he chopped up Iris and the other two women's stomach in order to bring for the Nephilim to the wondrous world of hell. Ah the memories were so nostalgic and it took him back. "Welcome back" Alistair said happily closing his eyes as he gave Tempy a charming yet dorky smile.

They were gone for less than an hour. Lu reappeared next to a table and the woman was placed on it effortlessly. From behind her, Alistair's voice rang out. "Welcome back," he greeted with a smile on his face. She turned to look at him and scowled.

"That look on your face makes me want to vomit." she replied curtly. Lu turned back to the woman on the metal table and began to inspect her. She would need some time for her body to recover before the baby could be removed. Temeluchas estimated about two or three days. The baby needed more nutrients and removing it prematurely would do no good for anyone. She looked to Alistair and pursed her lips together. "This child will need to come out in two days. In the mean time, I have something for the both of you." A sinister smirk spread across her face and the door to the Operating Room opened.

Danel walked in with the chained Jehoel at his feet. The Keeper was mangled and could barely lift his head. Danel pushed the angel into the room with his foot and dropped the chains from his hand. He looked at the four of them and shrugged his shoulder before walking out. "Later."

Temeluchas shook her head. Danel could never be bothered to do more than what was simply asked of him. It was infuriating Her blue eye landed on both of the angels left in the room. "You wanted to experiment. Here you go. Maybe after some time with you and your experiments, he will be willing to talk."

Day~45{3/4}Location~Birdsville, Australia Tuesday, November 5th, 2013

"Oh... gross..." Elsie threw the wet rug over the clothes line that was hung up inside of Birdsville hotel, getting some dirty water droplets on her face. She heard someone laugh loudly behind her and felt a hand clasp on her shoulder. "Ya sure you don't wanna put some swimmers on, mate? Nice day for a swim I say."

Elsie looked at the older man, chuckling nervously. "Nah. I'm good." The man shook her gently in good humor, making Elsie try and not loose her balance on the slippery floor. She had in fact decided to stay put and help the locals clean up after the big rain storm. It was the least she could do after using one of the storm shelters and its supplies to survive. Besides, she wanted to keep that rental jeep of hers. Backpacking in a country she wasn't familiar with didn't seem like the brightest idea either. She knew almost everything out in the Outback would try to kill every foreigner if they weren't careful.

"Tea will be ready shortly!" she heard a woman call from the kitchen.

"Finally." The older gent winked at Elsie before he made his way to where the voice sounded off. "Sure we can't have a Barbie instead?" The blonde shook her head with a smile, losing track of the conversation as she grabbed a mop and began to try to get the extra water off the floor. The sandbags had held up nicely, but some got in before the wall was set up and thus resulted in a big mess. She heard some homes were flooded in while others were smart and built up their defenses before the storm got worse. She felt sorry for those that were wading in wetness right now. They weren't use to that sort of thing in this dry country.

"Ahahah! that's the Tempy I know!" Alistair said happily upon hearing the words of Temeluchas before crossing his arms and staring over at the pregnant woman that Temeluchas was talking about. "Right...got it" Alistair said with a soft smile before his attention was sent over to the entrance of Danel and Jehoel in turn. He raised an eyebrow was surprised to see that they were bringing over be he leaned back on the chair he sat on and continued to smile.

Regulus was quite intrigued by the sudden appearance of Jehoel and from what he heard from Alistair it seemed this angel was quite the important person in this struggle. With Danel's departure a spark arose in the eyes of Regulus as he was given the opportunity to operate with the angel before him. He questioned why the dark angels would trust him with the access to somebody that warranted the attention of Beelzebub, but he knew better than that. It wasn't that they really trusted him, but knew that they would easily dispatch of him if something went amiss.

This little project that they allowed them with was merely a desperate attempt at finding out information from the tattered angel before him. The angels were getting nowhere and were now doing whatever they could to even get information out of their prisoner. He watched as Regulus grabbed the chains that bound Jehoel and immediately swung the angel down hard onto the operating table nearby and chuckled. "Hey Lu, thats all swell and dandy for the prof, but what the hell am I supposed to do? I...don't really have healing powers like him so I can't be as creative as him..." Alistair said.

Temeluchas clicked her tongue to the roof of her mouth and stepped forward. She pressed one sharp nail to his chest and pushed him back on his chair. Her forehead creased and her nose wrinkled into a snarl. "You may not have healing powers, but you do have a brain. You could try using it rather than whining. Honestly, do I have to do everything for you?" She scratched his face, drawing blood, and trailed her finger along the viscous crimson liquid. "If you are that clueless, you can always go back to teaching the children. Or leave. I could return you to your little friends and see just how long you last up there." At this point, she would much rather feed him to the wolves -- so to speak.

She let her hand slide down to his tie and wrapped her fingers tightly around the sleek fabric. Lu leaned forward, her face inches from his and she pulled down on the tie, tightening it around his throat. She used the tie to pull him to his feet and drag him out into the hall. Lu pushed Alistair against a wall and the door to the Operating Room slammed shut. "I am really getting tired of this game you're playing, Pet."

The man in front of her questioned her reasoning for why a camera would help him. Lauren rolled her eyes and let out a chuckle as she leaned down to pet Doug, "Isn't in obvious? When you look at the news all those people who stand outside with cameras pointed at them survive and turn out okay. Because the camera protects them, they'd be dead if they didn't have it! So if you had a camera pointed at you, you'd be safe. But since you say you were standin in the storm, you're lucky. Real lucky."
She looked up from Doug and back at the stranger and stood up straight, "Do you need new clothes, mate? My coworker should have something your size if you need it."

Richard had ended up being paired up with Henrik to go search around the island. The journey with the physicist was quite the silent one, as he seemed to be not the most sociable of people and Richard was...well, he was Richard. Had he been tasked to do this by himself he probably would've taken a nap somewhere along the way and totally forgotten what he was here to do in the first place. Their main task of trying to find just what was on this island was given to them and so the two anti-social people made their own perceptions and saw that there was something interesting about this island. After their long term perimeter check of the island, it was determined that it was absolutely deserted...except for maybe a shit ton of birds that happened to be on this island. What were they being bred here?

Richard and Henrik went back to the other two to report their findings. "Yeah, so I'm pretty sure that this island is uninhabited and that we're basically stuck here unless we find our own way off." It was at that moment that some boat appeared off the coast and appeared to be approaching them...well that seemed mildly convenient. Richard then decided to flare at the approaching boat and fired off a stream of hellfire mist towards the sky to act as their signal. Granted using white mist was probably not the greatest idea in this situation, but hey, it was all he could manage at the moment.

---Prior to this Boat appearing---

Brandon and comrades had all eventually got out of bed and was ready to go. Jo already had her compass out when they all met up, she didn't even want to waste time pulling it out. Now that's the go getting spirit. After everyone was given the proper first aid equipment to help alleviate any of their wounds, no matter how minor the alleviation might have been, they all comedically piled back into Adan's car and went on to Operation Get The Fallen Operational, aka Operation GTFO. Driving through around the continent following the directions of the compass the gang was eventually met with a rather odd obstacle to overcome...the ocean. Well that was something he was not expecting to deal with. The gang simply scratched their heads as to what to do with this impasse when Brandon figured out exactly what they should do...for once.

Taking the wheel forcefully from Adan, Brandon (aka a driver who gives the question "does this kid even have a license" purpose) and drove all the way back to Inverloch. Once there they ended up getting to a port at the town and all sauntered out to get a boat. Unfortunately renting a boat was pretty expensive. Especially in times of crisis. Stealing a boat, however, now that was completely free. With Brandon trying to sort things out with the owner of the boat they wanted, who was aggressively telling Brandon his name (which he kept repeating but only proved to make the man angrier,) Brandon eventually decided that he was not the most cooperative of people. As such, Brandon turned himself into a human, er, angel taser and stunned the guy, taking his keys and rushing everyone onto the boat. With Brandon being head captain of the boat, which somehow he was much better at than a car, they followed the compass all the way to an island.

She was just far too easy and he just didn't even need to make a small attempt at pissing her off. She acted all high and haughty, but because she was able to succumb to his taunts and mockery just proved how pathetic she was. She reacted the way he wanted her to react and no matter how much she called him her pet it seemed quite the opposite for him. If he was her pet, then maybe she was his puppet, being weaved around to satisfy his desires.

There were things he felt fear for, but Temeluchas was not the one he feared. Her anger was great and he figured it wasn't just from his antics alone. There was something more to it, something that made her unable to tolerate his actions anymore, but what could it have been? Had the group of Paradise actually become meddlesome to their affairs? was the lack of information or progress from Jehoel to be blamed? or maybe it was because of their dear lord Lucifer.

The clawing at his face and the lack of air from his tie began to take affect, but he did not react. To react to such small things was something that Temeluchas wanted and he always loved to deprive Temeluchas of the things she desired. His body was slammed on the wall and he merely stared down at the face of Temeluchas, narrowing his eyes with a grin "Why...I don't have any idea what your talking about..." Alistair said. Her face...that scowl was cute....

Sal was...admittedly confused and astonished by the response he was given from this woman...like, he didn't even know if children thought this way, much less full grown adults. She also offered to get new clothes for him, which he was frankly fairly thankful for. These old ones were doing their job fine, but a change of wardrobe was always needed. After all what was he, some role playing game character? "Thanks you Miss, I'll definitely take you up on that clothes deal." As such the two began walking to where the woman said he would get his clothes from.

As he was walking there were two things that persisted in his mind. One of them was to simply set the woman straight. "Also, listen, the camera isn't what saves the people who are being filmed by it. What saves them is...absolutely nothing short of luck really. You see, cameras don't have magical powers to protect people. Cameras simply just take the image that they're able to capture and stream it as a live video feed to the television stations them to broadcast and the people tuning in to see. Therefore, the people who go out there and get recorded use proper planning and luck to survive the storm they're in. I mean, if the cameras recording the person is what saves them, then what saves the people who are holding the cameras and pointing them at the people?" Then there was the second thing that persisted, "also, if I may ask your name Miss?"

Lauren was happy she was able to help a guy out with clothing. She listened to the stranger intensely explain what was apparently flawed with her statement.

She was used to this, in fact, she almost learned how to block it out when it happened. But this time she decided to listen because why not?
"The cameras are held by other people? I thought they were held up by um... triangles or something." Lauren placed a finger to her lips to ponder it until the man asked for her name and she grinned, "M'name's Lauren, Lauren Walker. How about you, mate?"

"Why, I don't have any idea what you're talking about ..."

Lu let out a frustrated groan and pushed him further against the wall. She ran her nail along his throat and watched as the blood slowly began to trickle out and collect. "Don't play stupid with me." she commanded. Temeluchas had never met such a severe case of masochism. It was like everything she did to him just made him smile while others would be writhing in pain. She needed a new tactic to seize proper control of the mortal. There was only one thing she could think of and it made her spit up in her mouth.

She ran her tongue over the thin trail of blood, her saliva healing the wound, and swallowed down the liquid. It was revitalizing. Lu squish Alistair's chin between two fingers and kept his attention directed towards her. Temeluchas put on her most level voice and a dark smile tugged at the corner of her lips. Her blue eye glinted in the hall light and she snaked one arm over his shoulders and pulled herself closer to him. "I have been unfair to you, Pet. I think, you deserve a reward for all your hard work."

Temeluchas curled her fingers into the back of his red hair and her breathing stopped. She pressed her lips to his and kept him caged in the hallway between her arms. If discipline didn't work, then perhaps this would. Alistair was supposedly a ridiculously old virgin. She liked to think that she might be able to use that to her advantage.

Ah, Lauren Walker was the girl's name. That last name sounded familiar, but it was probably all in his head. Regardless, she had asked his name and he would give it to her. "Well Lauren, my name is Salvatore Osorio. Though please, call me Sal." With introductions out of the way between the two, Sal and Lauren eventually made it to the friend she was talking about it and he got re-garbed and ready to get a move on. At first he was thinking that he would just stay around here and wait while the town rebuilt itself. Then Lauren said something about going to Birdsville and was going to leave. At first Sal thought to just say his goodbyes and stay in town. Then he realized he'd get really bored...and probably found out for illegally breaking into the only hotel in the city.

Sal told Lauren and her friends that he'd be accompanying them and as such the new gang started their way off to Birdsville Victoria Australia...on a bus. Well that was a nice change of events. Once on the bus, Sal thought about how the others would find him if he wasn't staying in the same place. Then he remembered they had a magic compass to follow to any of the fallen. And they might be dead anyway. So he really wasn't doing any harm leaving the town. Eventually Sal passed out on the bus to Birdsville and drifted off to sleep.

Without Temeluchas and Alistair around all was silent. He could hear some struggles outside, but Regulus merely tuned the light noises away from his mind and began walking towards the operating table with his eyes closed. He raised his hand and snapped his fingers as shards of what appeared to be glass begun to float above Jehoel's body. As Regulus walked on he began moving his his hand in a circular motion, causing the shards above Jehoel to swirl around in the air. They continued to swirl until Regulus stopped and clenched his fist, causing the shards to come together to form a floating mirror.

With scalpel in hand he stood before Jehoel and stared down at him, using a marker with the other hand to mark on the body before him. Usually scars were a good way to mark where to cut for him, but with the amount of wounds already having harmed the angel, he needed another way to mark the body. "Well then...lets begin" Regulus said calmly. His interest in making Jehoel talk about Leviathan was not great, but it was something he figured would be a pass time. The cold metal tip lightly touched the skin of Jehoel's chest and began moving down, going deeper and deeper into the body as it went into the skin "Now then...I do wonder what the body of an angel holds" Regulus said.

Meanwhile, as Alistair was firmly placed against the wall by his dear old Temeluchas, the sheer pain that hit his throat began to hit him and he silently began to chuckle at the sudden pain. This was just like all the other encounters with Lu, he would always mock her and piss her off and she would then slash the shit out of him and act even more haughty even though all her efforts were worth shit.

Everything looked the same, but things suddenly took an unexpected turn. His throat was licked by the angel and his wound was healed, but there was nothing out of the norm in that action. Even the sudden grabbing of his chin was not out of the norm, the the moment she began to pull him closer to her and with what she said he knew something was up. The smile faded from his face and he raised an eyebrow. "Wait wha-" Alistair said before being stopped mid-sentence by an unexpected kiss from his mistress.

Temeluchas was kissing him...Temeluchas was kissing him....that phrase was repeated throughout his mind thousands of times per second. His eyes were widened in pure disbelief as the kiss continued and Alistair's world was turned upside-down. His mind was going crazy, it just could not handle the illogical moment. It wasn't supposed to be like this, he never thought this outcome would arrive, but how? why? he just didn't understand....he just stood there frozen, his mind falling apart...
