One by one the other two slowly started to awaken. That was good, the less time they could spend in this place the better.
    "What do we do now?"
Her question brought up a good point, clearly finding everyone else would be on the priority list, not knowing which direction to look in would probably have them walking around in circles. Which in their current situation wasn't a best idea.
It would be best to find a place to regroup, from there we can think on how to locate the others. Samael chimed in. He did have a point after all. This would probably go a whole lot smoother if they weren't sitting in the outback.
"Right now were going see if we can find a town or something. Then we can try to figure out how to locate everyone else." The plan was short and simple. So all they needed to do was get moving and that's what they did. The walking they did took some time, but eventually a sign labeled Inverloch was visible. That was deifnately a relief, now all they needed to do was find some place to rest their legs.

    LOCATION Shore ???, Australia

Kai had taken a seat on the ground, his hands gripping his knees. He kept a watchful eye on Joslyn as she finally started to come too. She had still been pretty disoriented when he put his cardigan on her shoulders. She lifted her head and her pale eyes looked towards him. A-a-are you sh-sh-sure? she asked.

He nodded his head at her once before glancing away. Kai looked towards the only other German that was in the group, but he didn't seem to have anything else to say.

O-oh... I s-see... Joslyn muttered to herself. She reached down for the compass around her neck and Kai watched carefully. They were lucky to have that. It would make finding the others go a lot faster. Everyone else was probably out of a phone as well, so the compass would substitute. What do we do now?

Right now were going see if we can find a town or something. Then we can try to figure out how to locate everyone else. Logan replied.

Kai nodded and climbed to his feet. One hand held onto his backpack tightly and he stared down at the bag. At this rate, it would probably be better to just leave it, but part of him really hoped there was so chance at salvaging his journals. He slung it over his shoulder and walked over to Joslyn, helping her to her feet. She seemed even less steady than he did. There was a sharp pain in his ankle and he was pretty sure he sprained it in the wreck. Kai winced in pain and grit his teeth. He would have to manage somehow.

They started walking and every step was worse than the last. The pain grew more and more intense and he had to stop more than once to take a break and rest his ankle. He didn't dare untie his shoe and look at it. The pressure was better. It would keep the injury stabilized and if he loosened it, the pain would only become more unbearable.

A sign finally came into view and they were greeted with the words, 'Welcome to Inverloch.' Now they new where they were. It was a start. Kai wanted to pull up a map on his phone. He started to reach for it, only to remember that his phone was dead from being waterlogged. His face scrunched up in pain again and he had to stop walking. He reached his hand out, grabbing Joslyn's shoulder to support himself. When she looked at him, he gave her a pained expression. Kai wasn't one to normally grab onto someone else, but these were peculiar circumstances. He took a slow breath and glanced around at their surroundings.

They were all still damp and covered in sand. The town had been hit hard in the storm. Buildings were in rubble and water flooded the streets. They needed to find the others, but he couldn't do anymore walking and they certainly couldn't send Joslyn out on her own. The three of them needed transportation, but first, a seat.

Kai let go of her shoulder and fell to the ground. His hands cupped his ankle tightly and he bit down on his lip. There was no doubt about it being sprained now. It was probably incredibly swollen as well. He still had to resist the urge to look at it. His chin lifted upwards and he looked between the albino and the hetero-chromatic - eyed boy. This was a really bad group to be in. Joslyn couldn't form a single sentence without stuttering. Logan rarely even made his presence known, let alone spoke to anyone. And Kai, well Kai couldn't speak at all.

"I told you before, there are more ways to speak than with your mouth."

He glanced around, but didn't see anyone speaking to him. Kai shook his head and sighed. He reached his hand out, for one of them to help him to his feet, and he stood -- albeit, with a great deal of pain. Kai cracked his knuckles and pointed between the both of them and then lifted up the compass at Joslyn's chest. He wasn't some pervert like that Brit kid seemed to be. He didn't bother staring down or anything. His hand was swift as he picked the compass away from her chest and raised it to eye - level. It seemed to have a strong signal or whatever it was pointing towards the east. Hopefully that meant they were not the only ones in Inverloch. He dropped the compass and pointed the same way the device had.

He stumbled forward, but managed. It was his own way of saying, 'let's go.'

While they stood on the outskirts of the town, Logan took a quick look back towards the other two. This was quite the interesting group that they had here. Not many of them actually spoke and the one that did rarely did it without stuttering. Yep, this was quite the team, but at least the silence meant that none of them would be arguing over something pointless. That was definitely a relief.
Seeing Kai caused him some concern, not that his face expressed it at all, but he was still concerned nonetheless. As a group they all had to be somewhat exhausted or worn out from all that walking along with the boat incident, yet splitting up wasn't going to be the best thing for them to do at this moment.
When Kai reached out for someone to help him up, Logan took it and help him to his feet. Then he reached out for the compass around Joslyn's neck and looked at it. Even though Kai was holding it for a brief time, Logan still manage to see that it was pointing in a single direction. So there was someone else here, well that was convenient. With Kai stumbling on ahead, Logan simply followed behind him.

Adam kept on driving quietly bickering with the GPS. He was really exhausted and all he was doing was driving. This wasn't good, not good at all. How the hell was he supposed to find anyone did he just expect them to pop up at the side of the road?
Right on cue, he drove past a group of three he recognized immediately. He quickly pulled over to the side of the road and started backing up towards them. When he stopped he rolled down the window on the passenger side leaned over as far has he could and yelled, "Hey-" Adam let out a quick cough and realized he really needed some water. Then he continued, "Joslyn, Kai, Logan! Get in."
He was glad it happened to be Joslyn's group because that only meant they could find the others with the compass.
    The compass. Oh god...
Adam put back up the window and sat up normally, massaging his arms a bit.

    DAY 44 ⦙ 3/4 DATE Monday ⦙ November 04, 2013
LOCATION Norman Island, Australia [Shore] INTERACTION Richard, Heinrik, Hay Sun

    Hey, wake up everybody.

Hana blinked and was blinded by sun. She shielded her eyes with the back of her hand and groaned before coughing up water. Everything hurt. Hana knelt with her hands pressed into the sandy ground. Her elbows and knees trembled and she fought to keep upright. She lifted her head and her blue eyes scanned the area. Richard was there, waking everyone else up, and Henrik had just gotten to his feet. Hay Sun still seemed to be out of it and no one else was around. She glanced up at the two men nervously. Where was everyone else?

She managed to climb to her feet and get a look around. Off in the distance, she could see land across the water. It seemed to stretch out before them and didn't look as if it connected anywhere. Hana had a sinking feeling about whether or not they were on the mainland. She could only hope that the others were around there somewhere as well, just washed up further down the beach. Hana stumbled her way over to Hay Sun and collapsed on the ground. She pulled the girl into her lap and checked for breathing. She should be awake with the rest of them by now. Hana rolled her over onto her side and started to pat her back furiously.

Her blue eyes continued to search, glancing back at the trees behind them. She bit her lip and kept Hay Sun steadied in her lap. Have either of you seen anyone else? she asked earnestly. Hana was growing more worried as no one appeared from the trees. Without voyaging through the land, she guessed they were probably on one of the islands just off of the peninsula. That would explain the large stretch of land way off in the distance. There boat was totaled they had no way of getting off the island without one. She didn't even know if there would be other people on this island. It would be risky to go searching, given the wildlife of Australia. There could be all kinds of deadly predators in the trees behind them and all it took was one wrong step. They wouldn't do anyone any good if they all went dying now.

    DAY: 44 - 3/4 | DATE: November 4th, 2013 [Monday] | LOCATION: Wandering in Inverloch, Australia

After Kai had helped her to her feet, the group started to move at Logan's suggestion. Her legs felt like noodles as she tried to support her own weight, though Kai himself didn't seem too steady himself.

"Man, I wish I could help you somehow, but as you are now, I'm not so sure if possessing you is the best idea."

"That's alright. I... I think I can manage." As she stepped forward, she started to wobble like a newborn. Somehow, she managed to keep herself upright. However, as they walked, she slowly started to steady herself and regain her balance. The opposite seemed true for Kai as at some point, he grabbed onto her shoulder for support. The albino, not expecting that at all, jumped the moment he made contact.

"He doesn't look too good." Azazel seemed to be really concerned over him. Though, no one could really fault her for that. After a while, he let go of her shoulder and fell onto the ground, cupping his ankle. "Man, I really wish I could help you guys out..."

"It's okay. You can still help guide us." After she said that, Kai reached out his hand for support. Logan took it and pulled him up, though it seemed to hurt him. After he stood up, he reached for the compass and brought it up to look at it. When he finished looking at it, he dropped the compass and pointed in a direction. That must be the way the compass pointed. "O-okay, then. L-let's go th-th-that way."

After going for a while, a strange van pulled up to them, and a familiar voice called out to them. "Joslyn, Kai, Logan! Get in."

"Oh, it's him." It was clear that she didn't like Adam. Though she was probably conflicted about it because he was the one who hosted Semyaza.

"Well, he's offering help. We should take it."

"Fine, but we're sitting in the back."

"Yeah. I agree." Opening the back door, she took a seat on the passenger's side of the back and started to call out directions that the compass pointed in, stuttering each one.

    LOCATION Van Inverloch, Australia

They had unfortunately not taken a break anywhere since they had the compass. Kai grit his teeth while they continued to walk, but without transportation, they would never find anyone. Walking would take much too long and he definitely needed some medical attention. While they staggered down the road, a van pulled up. Kai stopped walking and did his best to keep from putting weight on his bad ankle. The passenger side window on the van rolled down and a familiar, albeit slightly disfigured, face greeted them from the driver's seat. Joslyn, Kai, Logan! Get in. Adam shouted to them.

They all sort of glanced around hesitantly. Kai stood there wondering if this was some sort of trapped before ultimately climbing into the passenger seat up front. Joslyn and Logan sat in the back and Adam started driving again. It would have made more sense for Joslyn to sit up front with that compass and all, but she didn't seem to be having any of that. Whatever. He turned in the seat and pointed to the compass before flicking his fingers at her to say, 'gimme.' he had a better view in the front than she did in the back and it would take less time. Not too mention, he had no problem pointing the way for Adam, while it seemed like Joslyn would have some serious issues saying which turns to take. When she handed him the compass, he turned back around and looked down at the strange thing.

Kai had never seen Joslyn take it off. It was strange for it to be in his hands. It felt foreign. He stared at it before looking back up at the road and pointing to the right. They needed to head further east. The needle seemed to be going crazy in that direction. They drove by his guidance for about fifteen minutes. The compass was definitely pointing tovsomewhere in Inverloch. At least another group made it this far. Maybe they would get lucky and everyone would be here -- he doubted that. There, coming out of a thick row row of trees and onto the side of the road, was another set of familiar faces.

He set a hand on Adam's shoulder and pointed to the roadside. The car slowed down and he unbuckled his seatbelt. He pointed to Logan to slide open the side door on the van nd he climbed out of his passenger door. Kai stood next to the vehicle and waved to Brandon, Sam, and Iris. He did his best to try and flag the three down, even without a voice.

After quite a while of walking Sal had finally felt that his body was well enough healed that he didn't need to continue using his healing aura. That and he didn't really want to go to society with a light green glow around him. Then he'd just be taken to the Australian government alien research center. He didn't know if that sort of facility actually existed, but it would be a safe assumption that every government ever has one of those. Sal continued to walk through wherever he was and ended up passing through some weird stretch of land that if you looked through a satellite picture would look like some sort of weird sand river, Sal had eventually found his way to civilization.

It was a town known as Foster, one that was in Australia and devoid of most description simply because Sal did not know how to describe it (and neither did Skyheart.) Sal walked in, feeling pretty tired from his extensive day of walking and healing, and figured that now would be a good time if ever to find some place to eat and sleep. Sal was quite hungry after all, and if there was one point that had been reinforced quite a bit since he joined the group, it was that sleep was very important. Granted, Sal had no money and no way to contact his parents...who probably thought he was still traveling around in Europe anyway. Man he was bad at keeping them up to speed. Oh well.

Sal walked around the slightly waterlogged town, still damaged from the hurricane, and found his way into a hotel. Acting like he was certainly planning on coming here from the beginning, Sal calmly walked around the hotel and went up to the second floor to find a room. After knocking on a few rooms to see if they were occupied or not, Sal found a room that he figured was going to be the place he should finish his night off in. Keeping the location of the room memorized, Sal walked outside and around the hotel, looking around to make sure that no one would see what he was going to do. Sal pulled out his wand, turning it into the baselard, and engaged his sun aura. Going at a much faster rate than he possibly could've without the aura, Sal ran forward and managed to kick off and up the wall for a bit, until he stabbed the baselard into the wall and continued to climb up the wall kicking up and stabbing the wall. When he was finally at the window of the room he had found earlier, he broke it with his baselard and jumped in there. After quite the action/spy movie scene had occurred, Sal lied down in the bed in the room and went to sleep there.

Brandon had been walking around good old Australia with good old Compadre and Eris, and they were just moving about towards Inverloch. The gang was clearly exhausted and fatigued, seeing as they walked a grand amount of distance from their starting location to Inverloch in one day after a boat drowning, but Brandon was not having any of that. With his infinite pep and enthusiasm he had, he lead the group blindly through Australia to where they were now. When he looked towards the road, though, he noticed something. There was a car that was just sort of slowing down until it came to a complete stop. Brandon didn't really pay much attention to the car until he looked at the person who came out of the car. He looked quite familiar and the man looked to be trying to wave them down, but Brandon couldn't hear anything coming from the person. It took a lot longer than it should have, but Brandon finally realized that that was Buch waving them down, and Brandon probably would've noticed sooner if he could matchup the voice coming from him. Why wasn't Buch yelling towards them? Brandon remembered him to have quite the charismatic distinct voice that one could spot a mile away, so he didn't really get why he wasn't using it.

The tired gang of Brandon, Eris, and Compadre all ended up going to the car only to find that Buch wasn't the only one sitting around there. In the car was also Jo and Brawler, and it was being driven by good old Adan. Well that was quite convenient for them. Especially that they had a car. Brandon figured that Adan had stolen the car...and didn't care either way about it. Point is, they had a car! With everyone comedically piling into the car like they were a family from a sitcom getting ready for a road trip, they figured the best place to go to would be a hotel or something. The gang was met with the simple fact that they had no money...except for the fact that Brandon had Cass's money. Man, that phone call sure did help them out in the long run...was still a pretty bad topic but it was helpful nonetheless. Without actually telling anyone where Brandon got the money from they eventually went to a hotel and Brandon bought them rooms. Two to be precise. He had money but wasn't made of it. Not wanting to have awkward moments with boy girl stuff, and the fact that Jo kept looking at Adan with both terrified and murderous intent, Brandon decided to split the rooms up by gender. Once Jo and Eris go there key and went to their room, Brandon, Buch, Brawler, Compadre and Adan all went to their own room to sleep.

    LOCATION Hotel Inverloch, Australia

It had taken longer than Kai had hoped for, for the group to notice his presence outside of the van. That was really annoying. Oh well, what could he do? They all decided to get a place for the night. The vast majority was too tired to continue anymore traveling. Brandon seemed to have money through that whole capsizing and got them rooms at a hotel in Inverloch. It was amazing there was even still one open. The majority of the city was underwater or wiped out from the storm. There were power lines down everywhere and trees blocking the roads that weren't flooded.

Kai needed help getting up to the room he shared with Brandon, Adam, Logan, and Sam. There were a lot of men crammed into one room. He took a seat on the corner of the bed and stared down at his foot. This was it. Slowly, Kai began to untie his boot. As soon as the flaps were pulled apart and his swollen ankle was able to breathe, pain shot through him in an instant. He winced and gripped his ankle as he ripped the boot off of his foot. He held it tight and looked at the other men. It made him feel pretty pathetic in their presence and as soon as the bathroom was vacant, he stumbled into it. Kai turned on the hot water and steam began to fill the room. It would feel like both a blessing and a curse. He could really use a shower to get cleaned up, but the hot water was going to kill his ankle.

He had to sit on the tub floor and use the detachable showerhead in order to get clean. Taking a bath would take too long and raise a few questions, but standing in the shower was just out of the question. When Kai got out, he tied a hand towel as tightly around his ankle as he could. It didn't really help much, but it was better than nothing. Kai didn't really want to put his dirty clothes back on given the fact that they were dried with sweat and salt water, but he didn't have much choice. Begrudgingly, he dressed himself and hobbled back into the room for sleep..

Elsie double checked to make sure all of her things were packed and ready to go. She salvaged as much as she could from her rented Jeep, and packed some of the storm shelter's inventory away in her large hiking/camping backpack. God wasn't going to answer her prayers, she had decided. He wasn't going to hear her now. She had to do things herself. Before, she tested the canoe on the water to make sure it wouldn't sink with the load she had. It was pretty sturdy and strong.

Elsie was planning to canoe as far as she could go and then when she got as far as she could go, she would just backpack the rest of the way. Where would she go? The blonde wasn't exactly sure. She just wanted to get closer to a large population as soon as she could. Then she would figure out what to do from there. Elsie didn't know what to expect from her choice, but she was an adventurer. She would embrace anything that came her way. After closing the storm door, and securely latching it, Elsie snuggled up in her little cot and pulled the blankets close to her. Tomorrow and the next few days were going to be hard and treacherous maybe. With that thought in mind, Elsie fell into a restless sleep.

    DAY: 44 - 5/5 | DATE: November 4th, 2013 [Monday] | LOCATION: Hotel in Inverloch, Australia

After getting picked up by some of the others in their little group, they looked around to see if they could find a hotel to stay for the night. It would be a miracle if they could even find an open one considering what has been happening. No sooner did he think that did they find one. He should've known something like that would happen, he just should've seen it coming. Although that wasn't the only thing floating around his head at that moment. The first thing he did when he even got into the car was to check if Hana was with them. It was a slim chance, but it was a possibility. Unfortunately, Whitey, and the chick with him and the kid, were the only girls there. He didn't want to show that he was getting worried over her, but it was definitely on the forefront of his mind.

Much to his own chagrin, he was forced to room with all of the other guys that were there. Though he was used to being in a room with other guys, he didn't like it when they were crammed in five at a time. That was just way too much for his comfort. Still, considering their luck in finding an open hotel in these conditions, this would have to do. He sat down on the floor and leaned against the wall furthest from the door. The heat in the room was getting to be too much because of all of the bodies in the room. It was so irritating, but he couldn't help it. All he could do was just shut up and go to sleep. Falling asleep didn't take too much effort for him.

After getting around and picking up another group of people, they made their way to a hotel. It was fortunate that they could even get one with conditions like they were. Before going into their separate rooms, Kai returned the compass to her. It was a little odd sharing a room with someone without Hana around, but it wouldn't be worse than being crammed into a room with four other people. That didn't appeal to her at all. Fatigued, the girl quickly fell asleep.

On the floor they bled, unable to move any more. For three days the two fought nonstop, working towards collecting their powers and gaining a necessary edge. The two worked for Temeluchas and that enough meant they had a slew of enemies they hadn't met. Already Alistair had formed doubt with the goodie two shoes and Heineken with his bitch of a wife already hated him.

Regulus's powers were quite useful for their little situation. Their wounds were healed with whatever powers Regulus could muster in the situation. The rest of the wounds were either stitched up or wrapped in bandages to be dealt with on a latter time.

Eternity and the inevitable end of death had clashed, but neither one of them had managed to best one another. The two fallen moved on from the training room and headed off to their bed room. With that they took the necessary rest that their bodies had cried out for and fallen fast asleep.

Richard had absolutely no idea as to what he should be doing in this situation. They were on an island, that much became clear. One more thing that was clear is that they were on a shore, and that was most likely the safest place on the entire island. Richard didn't know which islands in the world were inhabited and which weren't, but he hadn't seen a single person who wasn't a member of this little group and as such came to the conclusion that they weren't near any form of society. It was the answer of least effort and could easily be wrong, but Richard was not willing to go on an exploration mission on an unknown island with potentially hyper lethal animals. Not without a nap at least. As such Richard just said, "staying here for the night is probably the best choice." And with that, he fell asleep, right where he was sitting.

Adam was irritated why Joslyn wouldn't even bother to just tell him where to go right or left when driving. He understood Azazel didn't like him but it really pissed him off that basic communication was apparently an issue.
If he wasn't so sore and out of it, Adam would have smacked her. And he wouldn't have cared about what happened after, he was that angry about it. And everyone else seemed to be reluctant to get into the vehicle and it confused the hell out of him. He hadn't done anything, yet. Unless they were still judging him from his house recruitment thing, which he wouldn't be surprised about.
They managed to collect three more, so there were a total of 7 of them, meaning half of them were still missing. This was great. Not really but yes at the same time. Hana and Jun Tae weren't there, and they were the ones who seemed to know what was going on. If he wanted to get rid of the compass this was the perfect time to try just that. And if he was caught he'd have to run like hell because these people weren't exactly weak.
Adam went into the hotel with the rest of them and fell asleep immediately due to exhaustion.

"I wouldn't call it the best choice." Still, complaining about it wouldn't do them any good. Richard seemed content to just sleep on the ground and that might have been fine for him but Henrik decided to take the time to do some quick searching before he would turn in for the night. The fact that they were so close to the water meant that they wouldn't actually freeze overnight as the heat stored in the water from the day would be released in the night. This was why deserts had such extreme differences in temperature between day and night. No water, no climate stability. Of course, having a fire around did serve other purposes. Like keeping away pests and animals that might try to take a bite out of them in their sleep.

Henrik was more comfortable in the dark than in the light anyways. Within minutes he had gathered enough material to start a fire and within the first few seconds of trying to make fire, Lei grew impatient. 'Just light the damned thing with-'

'Hellfire? I thought you never wanted me to use anything like that.'

'I'd rather you do that than watch you fiddle around with twigs.'

Henrik shook his head and watched as smoke rose from the pile of grass and branches he gathered. Doing things the human way worked out just fine and that meant Lei could eat his own words. Henrik reached into the back of his mind to gloat but found that the presence of Lei was gone. The arrogant angel obviously didn't want to hear it. He scooted away from the fire and stared at it, knowing it wouldn't last long unless he continued to feed it. Considering that they were on some foreign island, Henrik had better things to do than sleep. Besides, someone had to keep watch.

Meanwhile, Iris just went to sleep with no complaints. Even though she did find Jos a little weird...and creepy.

Upon getting to the hotel room Logan found himself a place to rest on a nearby chair and sat there. His body as definitely sore, not matter how well he hide the fact. That was mainly why moments after sitting down, his eyes closed and he fell asleep. Hopefully Samael wouldn't have any bright idea while he tried to get some rest.

Hana wasn't exactly pleased with the idea of staying on the island, but they had no way over to the mainland unless they swam. Everyone was too tired to try a feat like that any time soon. If they got lucky, maybe they could hope for some calm wakes tomorrow and attempt swimming over to the other side, or at least one of them. It would be better if they didn't all attempt, but if one person could do it, they could bring back a boat of some sort for the rest of them.

She sighed. While Richard passed out immediately, Hana took to making herself a bed of sorts. It wasn't pretty, but it would provide protection from any sort of venomous insects and keep from lying in the dirt. Sighed laid down and curled up. A shiver wracked her body and she fell asleep restlessly.

Adam woke up really early, a little too early. This whole ordeal was eating at him, and he just wanted it done now. He came to the reasoning that Joslyn wasn't going to bother to try and repair this, at all. So why bother taking the trust route. If he was caught, he'd destroy it and run as fast and far as he could. Point was, he was going to grab it no matter what.
Adam got his stuff and had it all packed up and ready, then he left the room. He went up to the room Iris and Joslyn and unclipped Nahkosh from his necklace and let it turn into a small dagger. He took a deep breath and slipped the ring onto his finger.
I'm going to try now, I'm putting this on in case this goes completely wrong.
    Well dumbass, don't screw up.
    You should be more encouraging.
    Who is this?
Mali, go back to your assignment. Now
Adam took a deep breath and stood by the door, he closed his eyes and touched the door and then felt everything go numb. The next time he opened his eyes, he felt a bit fatigued, but was at the other side of the door. He quickly ducked down and inched his way over to Joslyn's side of the room. He wasn't going to be dumb and try to take it off of her first because he would have no chance.
Adam picked up the compass gently, and then moved it to the side so it wasn't over Joslyn's body, and he stabbed Nahkosh into it on the glass side, it cracked but did not break. It got one of his fingers but he quickly moved it to keep from bleeding on the compass. He refrained from letting out a grunt and stabbed at it again about 3 more times before he placed it down and ducked, rolling under the bed. He probably did not have a fast enough reaction time.

    DAY: 45 - 1/4 | DATE: November 5th, 2013 [Tuesday] | LOCATION: Hotel in Inverloch, Australia

Azazel, sensing that something was wrong, forced Joslyn to wake up. "Hey, honey, wake up. Now."

    "Mmmmm?"

"I said wake up. Something's up. I don't like it." Joslyn moaned as she slowly pulled herself up. She wasn't completely there, her mind still in sleep mode.

"What's going on?" The drowsy girl slurred.

    "Honey, check your things."

    "Huh?"

"Joslyn, honey, I know you're half-asleep and all, but this is very important. I need you to check the things you have with you."

"Okay." She slowly pulled the compass up to her face and inspected it. "Mmm... It's cracked."

    "It's cracked?"

    "Mhm... Cracked..."

"Are you realizing what you're saying?"

    "No. What am I saying?"

    "The compass is cracked."

    "Cracked?"

"Cracked." Her eyes widened as she looked at the compass again.

    "Oh my god, it's cracked!"

"Finally, you noticed." The angel's voice was deadpan.

    "Oh god, how'd that happen!"

"That's what I want to find out."

"Aaaaaah! Hana entrusted it to me, and now it's cracked! Oh no no no no no no!" The albino girl silently panicked as she looked at the compass.

    "Honey, calm down."

"No, no no no no no no no no no no!"

"Honey, I told you to calm down."

"Aahhhhhh, what do I do, what do I do?"

"CALM DOWN!" The panicking girl ceased her whining at the sound of the angel raising her voice. "Alright, so we have to calmly figure this out. Obviously, you didn't do this. Someone else did, the question is who and why?" Joslyn wondered about her question, and looked around the room to see if there was anyone else in the room besides her and Iris. "Oh good, you're catching on now."
